Takeo: Thinking quickly, you reach for a Poke Ball, and bring out your Frillish. On your command, she blasts a Scalding stream of water at the Yanma, aiming at the wings. You can feel the heat as the attack hits its mark, and about half of the Yanma release their grip on you, screeching in discomfort, and falling out of the sky. The remaining Yanma don't have the strength to keep you up, and down you fall. It would truly be a crushing impact with the ground, but this is fortunately averted as Narcissa employs her Psychic powers to ensure your safety. Though she does not stop you from hitting the ground, she is able to at least slow your descent sufficiently that you can climb to your feet, with no injuries to speak of. Then you look up, and you realize that you just might not have gotten off quite so easily.

Half a dozen Yanma litter the ground, trying to flap their soggy, steaming wings and failing miserably; at least three dozen Yanma fill the skies still, their wings very much dry and beating rapidly, supporting them in midair. And they're all glaring down at you. Oh, and did I mention that this little incident did not fail to catch the attention of Yanmega? Because this little incident did not fail to catch the attention of Yanmega. Yep. Yanmega shoots off a Shadow Ball, and while Narcissa instinctively tries to dodge it, the Ghost-type move grazes her nonetheless. However, as this happens, a dark aura comes over the Yanmega's body. You briefly consider the possibility that this is another of its attacks, before realizing the same aura has come over your Frillish's body as well. This was no attack- Narcissa's Cursed Body had activated, and Yanmega wasn't gonna be firing off Shadow Balls for a while now. Though Yanmega initially looks nothing short of pissed at this development, it seems to calm down somewhat after a minute or two. Now it looks you in the eyes, regarding you with an unreadable expression (not like there's much to read in a Yanmega's face in most cases anyway) for a few minutes. You're not sure what that was about, but at that point, Yanmega wheels around and starts to fly off. It gets about four or five feet away, then turns its head around, and motions for you to follow it, as the Yanma are doing (the ones still able to fly, anyway).

Though Yanmega's slightly less aggressive behavior is unprecedented, you somehow doubt that this is gonna give you a free pass to flee. The Yanmega seems intent on having you follow it, but where it will lead you, you have no idea.

What do you do?

The Labyrinth of Koros
Meetan: You clap your hands back over your ears. This wasn't what you'd been hoping for, you lament, as the Chingling's renewed sobs blast the air around you, forcing Torchic to retreat halfway around the corner to try and shield his poor ear drums from the assault. Looking at your distressed little bird, you recall his pantomime. He'd pointed to one of the walls, and to the sky, and to Chingling. What on earth could he possibly have meant?

With your hands still clasped firmly over your ears, you stand up and approach the wall Torchic pointed to. There doesn't seem to be anything particularly special about this wall: it looks just like any of the others you've seen in the maze thus far. You crane your neck to look up at the sky. "Is there something up there?" you wonder. "Did Chingling come from there?" You try to stand on the tips of your toes and see if maybe you can look over the wall ledge; but you knew it was impossible before you even began, and the walls which tower over you just seem to mock your feeble attempts. But looking back up at the sky ...

... you see a Taillow overhead. It seems to have something in his mouth. A twig, maybe? Chingling continues to wail and wail; as it does, it catches the attention of the Taillow, who looks down in your general direction. And that's when it happens.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRNGH!
*ZHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH*

The Taillow is quite literally blown away by an intense blast of white energy. It lets out a tiny squawk-chirp as it is carried away by the bright white light. Or at least one can only hope it was carried away by the bright white light: because all that remains of the Taillow once the beam fades away are a few blue feathers that are lazily falling down towards the ground. But before those feathers fall, while the white beam is still very much in your sight, ...

... the item that was in Taillow's mouth lands before you. It was a twig. Poor little Taillow was probably bringing this home to help build or patch up a nest. Only now ... now the twig he selected for his nest lies atop a small pile of dirt in this forsaken maze, and Taillow himself lies who knows where.

Whether the roar, the sudden appearance of the light beam in the sky, or the twig that just landed only a few feet away from it, ... whatever the cause, Chingling has stopped crying, if only for a little bit. It sniffles its runny nose, a faint ching-a-ling noise made as it does.

What do you do?

Pokémon in the area:
a Chingling

FFA Inventory:

x1 blue orb (left behind on floor of hallway)

The Tale of the Wishmakers:
lilbluecorsola:
You shove the old woman aside, bolting down the alley for the exit. "Waaaaaaaait! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!" the old woman wails. Her cries pierce your ears like sharp daggers, terrorizing you further. Adrenaline courses through your veins as you dash towards the sunlight, towards escape, towards--

"Whoooaaa, Nezhm'nar!"

You run out into the open street. Before your brain can even process what's before you, you can feel that you've collided with something big, furry, and hard. And just like that, you're out cold. You don't feel yourself crumpling to the ground. Nor do you then feel your body rolling a few yards forward from great, furry paws as they dig into the dusty ground to bring their owner to a halt. Nor do you hear Kief's cries as the cookie raccoon-dog picks himself up and scurries over to his master's side, nudging her neck and crying out for help. You have quite literally the half a second, if that, to process that you've hit or been hit by something. And the next thing you know ...

~*=*~*=*~*=*~*=*~*=*~*=*~*=*~*=*~*=*~

The first thing that comes to you is your proprioception and sense of touch. You find yourself lying down, your arms by your sides, your legs straight. And what you're lying on is ... soft? Yes, definitely soft. With some generous give. You realize now you can feel your body caving into this soft ground beneath you. You can feel something else pressed against your bosom, laying in the crevice between your chest and your left arm. Your eyes are still closed.

Pokémon in the area:

FFA Inventory:
none

OoC: Trying something new. Not sure if it can really work in FB or not, but someone who likes text-based adventures should be able to see where this is going ...

Charizard {1} Carnival, Here Vege comes

Scene : A small house with a bike parked outside. Its a 2 room house. One bedroom and 1 living room. Only one person in the house and his name was Vege.

Vege woke up from his sleep and turned to his pokeball which was kept on the lamp table. He picked it up and threw it. It opened and a red light flashed out of it and changed into charmander. Charmander raised his small hands like he was saying hello. Vege said "Wanna have some fun." Charmander jumped and nodded his head like saying yes. Well then lets got to a carnival. Charu jumped in joy. Vege said " Okay let me go and get fresh. Vege puts charu back in the ball. After getting freshed he took the pokeball and hung it in his side belt. He locked his home and went out.

He took his bike and rode it to the carnival. He parked it and then got off. He threw his pokeball and charu appeared. Charu was very happy coming at a place like this. Vege picked up it on his arms because it was a crowded place, he thought if charu gets lost in this crowd. He then searched for which thing to ride.

Adventure. That’s what Matthew had always wanted. Something to let the world know that he existed, that he could be there whenever he was needed. Luckily, that was exactly where the Budew was headed.

“Come on James! You’re as slow as Euen!” The Budew cried in his own language, gripping his trainer’s hand with the clasp above his head. The two were journeying away to a strange cave: rumor had said that one with a heroic heart could feel an adventure. Matthew saw this and took no time wasting away to charge forth, and his trainer was forced to dutifully follow him. Now, they were traveling to this cave, with few distractions. It was an oddly clear path, as some had said that the trek there was treacherous.

Eventually, the two stumbled upon the entrance of the cave hidden beneath the roots of a tree, the wooden struts supporting an odd entryway. The sprout charged in, and as usual, James followed him. James searched for his heroic bud within the cave, and eventually found him near an odd glowing stone, the shade of violet worn by Arbok. Matthew waited for his trainer this time- or at least seemed to. In truth, he was mesmerized by the jewel, its ominous glow captivating him. James picked him up in one hand, and with the other, tapped the stone. Nothing.

“…Well then. That’s a disappointment. I guess we head ba-“ James started to say, his sadness evident in his voice. Matthew cut him off by jumping forward, slamming into the stone with his full weight. And suddenly, the world turned black to both of them.

Pest is already going to update myself, so nobody try to take his place. I’ve left it up to him on what kind of adventure we take. I used FFA375 in my post here, the colour I normally use, but if you’d like to change it that would be fine.

Tyoyo3131: You found yourself slightly suspicious of your situation, considering that you stumbled across significantly fewer brambles than you'd expected. You've heard warnings and rumors about the difficulties in finding this mysterious cave, yet it seems that this wood is no more spectacular than any other. The occasional bird flitted overhead, singing cheerfully as usual. Although you had your doubts, you felt no reason not to let your Budew excitedly pulls you in that direction. It would be an excellent opportunity for bonding, you decided, especially with your youngest team member.

Now, though, you find yourself rather underwhelmed. The cave is nestled snugly within the tangled roots of a tall and unusually broad oak, which is otherwise no more remarkable than the rest of its species. For Matthew it is easy enough to dart into its shadowy confines, but being far taller than your tiny Pokemon you are forced to crawl in on your hands and knees to squeeze past the entrance. Inside it's a little roomier, to be sure, and you can push yourself into a kneeling position, but no higher. It's not quite as dark as you'd assumed on first glance, either: a dim violet glow allows you to see the faint silhouettes of roots dangling from the ceiling above. You scoot around them on your knees and soon reach its source, taking in the sight of Matthew as he gazes at the poisonously purple stone.

Scooping him up, you cautiously tap the mysterious rock with your free hand, only to be rewarded with the sound of your fingernail against its surface and nothing more. Disappointment creeps in as you realize that all of those stories must have been false. To come all this way just to see this thing! Certainly it's a little eerie, but it can't match up to anything you've ever imagined. You are beginning to voice your discouragement when Matthew, suddenly squirming, launches himself from your grasp and smashing against the stone with all the excited force he can muster ...

You aren't exactly sure what happens after that. All you know is that you wake up sometime later, sprawled across the earthy floor. When you open your eyes, you are immediately stunned to see everything in purple - and not the faint glow you could barely notice earlier, either, but shaded in a definite deep color. Now everything around you is easily visible, despite a lack of any visible light source. But that isn't what makes you freeze up immediately.

The cave is now significantly larger than before. Where you previously had to duck to avoid scraping your head against the ceiling, you now have to gaze upwards and squint to see even the slightest definition of an end to the shadows above you. The far-off walls are no better either, and you hastily glance behind you to see if you've shrunk. When you catch sight of the cave's entrance close behind you, though, it's easy to tell that it's no bigger than before. The light outside is shockingly bright even in spite of your purple vision, and you quickly look back into the darkness of the cave.

Close by your side is Matthew, who is also beginning to stir. The mysterious stone that he threw himself at is no longer in sight; instead, shards of something that looks like glass form a jagged trail that leads into the darkness before you, glinting just on the edge of visibility. At the start of the trail, just a couple of feet in front of you, is a pair of symbols burned into the ground, crudely resembling the letter O directly above the letter X. How odd. Perhaps all of this has something to do with the stone's disappearance. But how could that be? Whatever the case, you're beginning to wonder if there's something more to this cave than you'd initially decided ...

What will you do?

Glad to take you up on this! Let me know if you see anything weird or if something seems unclear. And for the record I'm a girl :x

Vegetunks937 (please reply in this color):
As you and Charu explore the fairgrounds, trying to decide on a ride, you pass by many enticing rides- a Ferris wheel, a roller coaster, all sorts of stuff. After a good half hour of walking around indecisively, you come across a large crowd gathered around something. Burning with curiosity, you push your way to the front of the crowd, just in time to witness a pair of Pokemon trainers. One trainer is dejectedly recalling an unconscious Slugma back to its Poke Ball. The other trainer is looking decidedly more pleased, and so is the strangely shaped yellow Pokemon at his feet.

"All right, who's next?" the winning trainer demanded, glancing around the crowd. "Next victim for my Dunsparce, step right up!" It was then that he noticed you. "Hey..." he said. "Yeah, you'll do just fine. Your Charmander against my Dunsparce. Let's do this!"

The crowd roared in approval of this idea, those nearest to you encouraging you to go for it. The trainer's Dunsparce gave several sharp cries of "Sparce, sparce!", as though demonstrating its willingness to fight.

You could refuse the challenge, of course, but the crowd would be most disappointed by this, and there's no doubt that a nice Pokemon battle would be just as thrilling as any ride in the fair, if not moreso. Still, you remember the Slugma that was defeated at the Dunsparce's... er... hands? No... wings? Well, whatever, you recall that this Dunsparce KO'd a Slugma, so it's not too much of a stretch to believe that it can deal with Fire-types well enough.

What do you do?

Vege looked at a crowd nearby and rushed towards them. There was a fight between a slugma and a dunsparce. When he came the battle had ended and slugma was defeated. The loing trainer brought his slugma back to the ball. The dunsparce who defeated slugma was in a mood to fight more. His trainer looked in the crowd and searched for a trainer to fight. He asked vege to fight his dunsparce with Vege's charmander. Vege thought for a moment. He looked around and heard many people saying " go for it, man. Let's see what your charmander ha got."

He thought for a moment that battle has more fun than fairs. Vege said " I accept this. Charmander will you battle it." Charmander waited for a minute and then nodded his head and said " Char, Char." and got in a fighting stance. Vege looked at him and said "Okay here I bring out my Charmander to battle your dunsparce." He muttered to charu " please don't lose Charu." He sent his charu forward and ordered him to do scratch 3 times.( my charmander is lvl 5 so please make it a fair fight.)

vegetunks937: The trainer gave a sneering grin as you sent Charu into battle. "Let's do this," he grinned. "Haxy, use Glare, then Headbutt! Then follow up with AncientPower!"

The battle began. Charu got in the first move, raking his claws across Dunsparce's face- the first Scratch was a direct hit, a very promising start, but the Dunsparce, named Haxy for reasons you were about to discover, looked less than pleased. In fact, the Glare it gave your Charmander was so vicious that your Fire-type found itself frozen in place. Then Haxy zoomed forward, wings flapping furiously, keeping it a few inches off the ground, and delivered a forceful Headbutt. Ooh, tough luck- Charu flinched from the move, it never got off the second Scratch! It did manage the third one, however, and not even the paralysis prevented Charu from delivering the move at full power. Haxy cried out in pain, then launched a Powerful orb of Ancient energy. The Rock-type move struck Charu- that really hurt!

Despite the super effective blow Charu took, he's still very much in the game, with about three quarters of his health left. His Scratches aren't using up too much of his energy, either, and do in fact seem to be having a decent effect on the Dunsparce. Haxy, meanwhile, isn't too far off from Charu in terms of health, but its energy reserves have taken a hit from summoning that AncientPower. Nothing too significant, but Charu does have slightly more energy at the moment. Even with the paralysis, so far this match could go either way.

"You can do it, Haxy!" shouted the trainer. "Three Headbutts!"

It's your turn to give orders. What will you do?

"Well Rags, it's official."
"Ru?" The little Ralts next to the young man looked up at his trainer confused.
"It's official. That we're LOST!" He smashed his Pokédex on the ground while uttering his last words. He was now almost heaving from frustration. He had been using his Pokédex the last few hours to find an interesting location to explore or possibly even a small town to rest. Instead, they found themselves hopelessly lost in a forest of which they didn't even known it's name.

Lucas took another look at his surroundings. So far there was nothing of interest around him. Only trees and bushes and not much else he could see in the distance. He was following a trail that could arguably be considered a path through the forest.

When looking up, it was clear that the warm, lit up sky had been turning darker the last half hour. Dusk was going to approach soon and they weren't prepared to camp out in the woods. "Typical," the Ralts thought to himself. His trainer doesn't always prepare for everything, least of all camping in the wilds. He was more the kind of guy to sleep in comfortable beds. His pokémon was quite similar in that fashion, having been raised as a house pet since they were both little.

Both of them let out a small gasp of surprise. Rags a split second later, it's horns giving off a soft glow.

They had just seen a fallen log that they had passed twice already. It was recognizable in the fact that there was a small clearing near it and the wood was fresh rather than rotten.

Lucas gave a disgruntled sigh and headed towards it. He took off his white, long sleeved shirt but still kept on his black sleeveless one underneath. Despite the fact that it was getting darker the last few moments, the forest he was in was relatively hot and both of them had need for some rest after hiking for several hours. They both lied down, leaning against the fallen tree while the sun's rays were bathing them while it still could. Again simultaneously, with Rags being a split second slower.

The trainer lit up one of his cigarettes. After taking a deep breath, he had calmed down from his frustrated state and started thinking logically for once, trying to find a solution. He inspected his Pokédex first. He had used it as a map for the area, though unsuccessfully, and when he threw it to the ground, it had suddenly stopped working. Adding to his annoyance and problems. He blew out another breath of smoke before finding the problem; a small simple screw had loosened from the impact. After simply tightening it, he heard something click inside and the Pokédex turned back on. After another inspection, the trainer concluded that he still couldn't make heads or tails out of it's map.

He gave up on it again. He placed it back in his pocket and remained there, smoking the last of his cigarette. It was only when he was actually relaxing that he noticed how fatigued he really was. He turned his head towards his pokémon. Rags had already dozed off. Not surprising, but still worrying. If they couldn't find shelter soon, they'd have to stay in the forest overnight. The mere though sent a shiver down his spine.

There were still a few hours left of sun, so when his eyelids started closing themselves, he convinced himself it was best to take a small rest before continuing. "Just a a power nap," he thought.

“Matthew… What did you do?” James mumbled, looking around as well as he could with a strange purple lens seeming to cover his eyes and make everything bright with violet. The short cave had transformed: James prioritized finding how to get out. Matthew, who was just beginning to wake up, prioritized finding adventure. He snapped upwards, jumping onto his feet. The Budew’s little eyes swung around the room, analyzing everything, his eyes eventually falling onto some glass shards. His stubby legs carried him over to James’ pack and he began searching through it, eventually finding what he was looking for. He grasped the pen and paper within his bud-hands and gave it to James. With a cry of “Budeeew!”, Matthew montioned over to another spot with letters..

“Okay then, I can mark them down. It’s your adventure, kid, I follow you around this time.” James said, scratching on the paper the O above the X in the middle of the page. He reached down and picked up one of the shards. “You never know, right?” He questioned as he slipped it into his pocket. Matthew, however, did not hear, as he had already started down the path, happily skipping and almost ready to burst with joy that adventure had befallen him. James ran off after him, hoping that nothing terrible would happen. But with his luck, that was incredibly unlikely.

Nothing is unclear, don’t worry about that. You’re pretty good at this. ^.^ Oops

Tyoyo3131:
You make certain to take a couple of souvenirs from this spot, just in case. With the glass-like shard in your pocket and the sketch of the letters tucked into your backpack, you turn the mystery over to Matthew, who is all to eager to scamper alongside the trail of shards. Despite his small size, he soon forces you to jog in his wake to keep up, leaving the brightness of the entrance falling behind you. There's something about this place that excites him, quite besides the siren song of adventure. There's a sense of something in the slightly damp air that invigorates him, pumping sap through his veins just a little faster. It's as if something is calling silently out of the shadows, and though the two of you can hear nothing aside from the sound of your feet against the earth, the excited Budew subconsciously seeks to answer.

If only you could be so confident. Maybe it's just you, but this cave is still hair-raisingly eerie. Despite your purple-enhanced vision, the size of this place still keeps its further reaches hidden in darkness. Long roots hang like stalactites from the unseen ceiling, and despite the fact that their lower portions are fairly visible, their shadows are oddly nonexistent. It's a tiny detail, probably not one you'd notice under normal circumstances, but the sight is uncomfortingly uncanny. The problem of the cave's size is already wreaking havoc on your understanding of physics, and the additional confusion doesn't exactly help.

As the two of you continue along, you begin to notice the ground isn't quite as firm as you'd initially thought. It gives under your shoes ever so slightly, and with each step you need to exert just a little extra effort to lift it out of its pull. It's not quicksand by any means, more of a slightly muddy consistency, but the tiny sucking sounds made by your walking creep into the silence all the same. Squick. Squick. Squick.

You've only been walking for a few minutes, although it feels quite a bit longer, when Matthew slows to a halt with a questioning exclamation. Catching up, you notice a wide tube of what appears to be wood loom suddenly out of the gloom, stretching from floor to unseen ceiling. A tall hole in its side faces you, and upon peeking in you realize that not only is the tube hollow, but it also houses a series of glass-like slabs spiraling upwards in one direction and downwards in another, forming a bizarre staircase with each stair about a foot above the one before. The transparent slabs closely resemble the shards that you've been following, and so it's easy to notice the faint pulsing light deep in the depths beneath the stairs below. Above there's no such light, but in the absence of your squishy footsteps you find that listening hard reveals a faint dripping noise up there in that mysterious darkness.

A contemplative noise from your Budew brings you back to your current location, and your attention is brought to another set of crudely drawn sketches. To one side of the hole is what appears to be a thick arrow pointing up, positioned above an X; to the other, a similar arrow pointing down and right below an O. The trail of shards ends here, but from what you can tell the cave continues on, stretching further and further into unseen shadow.

What will you do?

Thanks! Also, if I'm messing up any characterizations here, please let me know.

Pikachu {3} Vege is up to something

Round 1 was good. It was a good battle between the two pokemons. This time Vege had something different in his mind. He took a look on both the pokemons and thought for a while. He remembered all his charmander’s attacks. He whispered something in Charu’s ears. He told Charu to stand very close to it. When it will use headbutt jump and scratch its head at that time from upwards and go behind it. Second time you should evade it by jumping as high as you can and jump over it. Third time he would know our statergy so that time don’t don’t jump, he will fly in air so that you cannot jump and at that time jump and use scratch from downwards. Charu nodded his head. “Alright let’s get this to a new level of fighting.” Vege said like he was up to something and really he was up to something.

Vege straighten his cap, took a long breath and said” Charu scratch it then evade the headbutt second time and once more use [b]scratch[b]. Do as I directed.” Charmander walked closer to the dunsparce and was so close that they looked like hugging each other. Everyone in the crowd thought Charu a fool and wasn’t listening to his trainers command. But it was a surprise for them.

vegetunks937: You whisper your real orders to Charu, and with a sneaky strategy in mind, your Charmander goes in for round two. Haxy looked rather dumbfounded by this development, but did not question it. It went in for a Headbutt, but at the last moment, Charu... froze in place! The paralysis was fouling up your strategy, and the Headbutt connected. As it dove in for a second Headbutt, however, Charu was able to jump over it, impressing even the opposing trainer. Haxy went in for its third and final Headbutt of the round, and while it did not make an incorrect prediction regarding your strategy as you were banking on it to do, Charu still met it head-on with a Scratch. It was a well-timed attack, which actually managed to stop the Headbutt by sheer luck.

"OK, that was just dumb luck," growled the opposing trainer. "But we'll see just how lucky you really are, punk! Haxy here's got the Serene Grace Ability, any attacks he doles out has a higher chance of their side effects taking place. Why do you think just about every single Headbutt that's connected so far has made your Charmander flinch?" he sneered. "Haxy, let's end this! Two Headbutts, and then finish things with Drill Run!"

Both Charu and Haxy got in one attack each this round. They're still relatively evenly matched, with just a little over half of their health still in place. That said, Charu's paralysis could prove to be a problem- it nearly fouled up your otherwise brilliant strategy this round, after all. Not to mention, Drill Run is going to be a hard hit against a Fire-type. You begin to suspect that that's the move that was used to finish off that Slugma from earlier.

It's your turn to give orders once more. What will you do?

Vege liked the previous round very much. Now after listening to the moves by the other trainer, he came to knew that he wanted to end this match here. Vege said "Al right now lets end this. Scratch times 3. Let's see what will happen.""God please help me."He muttered.

vegetunks937: Charu and Haxy lunge at each other, each one trying to get in their attack first. Naturally, Charu's paralysis slows it down so much that Haxy is able to deliver a powerful Headbutt first... But wait! Charu didn't flinch this time! The crowd was amazed by this, and Haxy's trainer infuriated. Charu didn't hesitate to press his luck, either, and wasted no time getting off the first Scratch. Indeed, Haxy was so stunned that his normally reliable Headbutt failed to induce flinching that he left himself wide open, and Charu took this as a cue to go with Scratch number two. Hastily trying to make up for this, Haxy lunged forward. Perhaps a bit too hastily- the Headbutt missed completely. As Charu executed his third Scratch attack of the round, however, Haxy's tail started to spin... Yep, it was Drill Run, and Haxy rose up into the air, and started to dive down, tail first, towards Charu. With seemingly no way out, Charu ducked, cowering in fear of the super effective hit that... that soared right over him! Haxy had been aiming for Charu's head, and as he was flying backwards for this move, he couldn't see that his target had moved! In the next instant, the Dunsparce's tail was buried in the ground, and appeared to be stuck there.

This round was very good to you and Charu- not only did Charu get off all three Scratch attacks, but only one of Haxy's moves hit, and it wasn't even the super effective one! Not only that, Haxy is currently immobilized as he tries to free his tail. This round gave Charu a definite advantage with health- Haxy is down to about 30% of his health, while Charu still has about half. The paralysis seems to be starting to wear off, too, though certainly not completely. It could still pose a problem, it's just a little less likely to do so now.

"Haxy! Three AncientPowers!" was all the Dunsparce's trainer shouted.

What will you do?

"Keep it up my friend. Now let's scratch him off 3 times." Vege said Chearfully and this time he had his full trust on Charu.

vegetunks937 (In the future, please try to make your replies of a decent length, all right? Something more like your first two replies would be preferable) : You are understandably thrilled as luck appeared to be favoring you, and you order another trio of Scratch attacks from Charu. As your Charmander races forward, Haxy launches an AncientPower, scoring a direct hit! Ouch. It's super effective. But Charu isn't down yet, and he still manages to get off a Scratch attack. Haxy is irritated now, and his tail still isn't free, so he cries out loudly as he fires off... a hacking cough, and nothing more. Haxy's previous usages of AncientPower had eaten up all his Rock energy, and the trainer facepalmed as he realized this. You have more of an opening now than ever before, and Charu does not hesitate to press this, unleashing another two Scratches in quick succession. As the onslaught dies down, Haxy is freed from the ground, but slumps to the ground, unconscious. The crowd roared and cheered as they began to realize that the Dunsparce had lost.

"GAAAH!" exclaimed the opposing trainer as he returned Haxy to his Poke Ball before glaring at you. Seems this guy does not take losing very well. The crowd appears to be of a very different opinion, however- they're still cheering their approval of your victory, and one woman even approaches you and provides medicines, healing Charu back to full health. But before anything else can happen, you find yourself approached by a man in black clothing, who ushers you away from the crowd.

"'Scuse me," he said to you once you were out of earshot of everyone else. "I couldn't help but notice how well ya battled back there, and I got an offer for ya. How'd ya like to join Team Rocket? We could use talent like yours on our side."

Obviously, the offer is not something a good trainer should be considering, flattering though the Team Rocket talent scout's words may be. That said, you notice a Poke Ball at the man's belt, and you may be in for a fight if you refuse. What will you do?

At last the battle ended and Charu was the winner. Vege was very happy. He came forward and held Charu in his hands and hugged it. A woman healed Charu. A man came and took Vege out of the crowd and gave him the offer to join Team Rocket. Vege looked that he has a pokeball in his belt. Vege said," Do what you want to do but i won't be joining your team. The worst team ever is Team Rocket. If you will not go i will order my charu to hurt you. Oh i see you also have a pokemon. So let's have a battle between you and me. If you win i will join you and if i win you will get out of here.." Vege said that like a fast train. "Hey whats your answer, wanna have some battle." Vege had a plan in his mind, which he thought to use here.

vegetunks937: The Team Rocket recruiter scowls at you, looking decidedly displeased at your refusal, yet seems intrigued by your challenge. "Heh. Very well then, punk," he sneered as he prepared the Poke Ball. Several more men appeared behind him, each of them clutching a Poke Ball as well. The recruiter threw his ball. "Escavalier, go!" he shouted as what appeared to be a beetle in an odd suit of armor materialized. It floated in midair, its lance-like stingers pointed forward. Gulp. You start to think this might not have been a good idea after all. Charu would have the type advantage... if he only knew any Fire moves! Before you can even call out Charu, however, the man gives his Escavalier a nod and a significant glance. Escavalier nodded back, and charged- but at the other Team Rocket grunts! Before they knew what had happened, Escavalier's Take Down had rendered them all unconscious. The man then grabs your hand and pulls you into a nearby alley, out of view of the crowd, with Escavalier following. He then removes his black outfit, revealing a distinctive brown trenchcoat.

"Ahh," the man sighed in a decidedly different voice. "Very sorry I am, for tricking you in a manner such as this," he stated. "For I am not, as you so very likely believe, an agent of the team of Rocket- allow me to properly make an introduction of myself. I am in fact an agent of the International Police. My name- ah, no, I shall reveal to you only my code name. It is Looker. It is what they call me. And this would be Escavalier, a loyal partner of mine whom I met as a Karrablast during a hairy situation in the region of Unova," he added, gesturing towards the Bug/Steel-type, who nodded at Vege. "Again, many apologies for such trickery on my part, but I found it necessary to test you. Very skilled of a trainer you seem to be, yes, even though your only Pokemon appears to know but one move. What I needed was to see was with whom your loyalties would lie. And now that I know that you, not unlike myself, are very much opposed to the team of Rocket, it is clear that you are the perfect person to assist me in my mission. The Team Rocket, they are present in this fair, as you have very much likely figured already. What I am doing is tracking their movements, finding out all that there is to learn about their criminal activities and various misdeeds. Your duties on this mission, should of course you choose to assist me, will be simple, in that you and your... Charu, you call him? You and Charu shall be assisting myself and Escavalier whenever a situation which calls for battling arises. Very very bad it would be if I were to be outnumbered in a fight, and after witnessing for myself your skills with my own eyes, I know that the help of you would be invaluable indeed. So what say you? Are you willing to assist me in my mission?"

What will you do?

Vege gave him a good answer. But who knew that he was an undercover agent. His Escavalier gave a good attack to other team rocket agents. After running out of that place and relieving himself as an undercover agent, Vege had some tears on his eyes.

After listening to Police Officer, Vege cried but stopped himself immediately. He and the officer sat down on a bench. Vege thought for a while. Vege turned to the officer and said," When you told that you are an undercover agent I remembered my father as he was also an undercover agent. But one day he was shot by the Team Rocket leader.”Whipping his tears he added,”I am ready but first I will ask my charu abut it.” Vege turned towards his charu and said,” Will you team up with that Escavalier.” Charu nodded his head and went towards the Escavalier and shaked hand with it.

Vege turned to the officer and said,” Okay we are ready to be with you. Do I have to become an official undercover agent or it is unnecessary.” It was like a license to kill the team rocket leader for Vege first, but he controlled himself and made himself tension free and now don’t want to kill the leader of team rocket.

vegetunks937: Looker listened as you explained that your father was also an undercover agent, but he was shot by the leader of Team Rocket. "Very sorry I am to hear that," Looker said quietly. "It is coming as no surprise, then, your animosity towards the team of Rocket." You stated that you were ready, and asked Charu if he was too, which he was. Then you asked Looker if you needed to officially become an undercover agent yourself first. Looker smiled and shook his head. "No, no, it is not necessary, though your spirit is most admirable indeed," he stated. "Now then, here is the first move," he stated as he produced a pair of outfits- Team Rocket uniforms. "I, Looker, do pride myself in my disguising abilities," he explained. "Many times, missions do require me to go undercover, such as the one with which we are currently involved right now. Here, we shall disguise ourselves as agents of the Team Rocket. I will resume my prior role as a recruiter, and your story shall be that I have managed to persuade you to join forces with the Rocket team. A lie it shall be, of course, so I am hoping you are as convincing in your lies as you are skilled in your battles."

With that, Looker pulled his outfit back on over his trenchcoat and handed you the uniform. "Here, you put this on now," he instructed. "And worry not, as it will fit most easily over your current clothing." You do as instructed, and within seconds, you are dressed as a Team Rocket grunt. "Excellent, yes," nodded Looker, whispering as he looked all around. "Now then," he added as he took a Poke Ball out of his pocket and handed it to you, "This is a Pokemon of mine, to be called out in the event of some such sort of emergency. Very well trained indeed, and will only obey the orders of one it knows to be working with me, if not the orders of me myself. I need not inform it that you are working alongside myself, so you are not to be worrying on that point- it will know."

You accept the ball from Looker (*Obtained Looker's Poke Ball!*) and on Looker's orders, you return Charu to its Poke Ball as Looker returns Escavalier to its own ball. "Now then," said Looker, "Before we are to begin, have you any further questions for me?"

Well, do you?

~~~~FFA inventory~~~~
Looker's Poke Ball (A Poke Ball containing a Pokemon owned by Looker, to be used in the event of an emergency. Whatever it is has been well trained, and will follow your commands in battle without question, as it will somehow sense that you are working for Looker.)
Then you asked Looker if you needed to officially become an undercover agent yourself first. Looker smiled and shook his head. "No, no, it is not necessary, though your spirit is most admirable indeed," he stated. "Now then, here is the first move," he stated as he produced a pair of outfits- Team Rocket uniforms. "I, Looker, do pride myself in my disguising abilities," he explained. "Many times, missions do require me to go undercover, such as the one with which we are currently involved right now. Here, we shall disguise ourselves as agents of the Team Rocket. I will resume my prior role as a recruiter, and your story shall be that I have managed to persuade you to join forces with the Rocket team. A lie it shall be, of course, so I am hoping you are as convincing in your lies as you are skilled in your battles."
With that, Looker pulled his outfit back on over his trenchcoat and handed you the uniform. "Here, you put this on now," he instructed. "And worry not, as it will fit most easily over your current clothing." You do as instructed, and within seconds, you are dressed as a Team Rocket grunt. "Excellent, yes," nodded Looker, whispering as he looked all around. "Now then," he added as he took a Poke Ball out of his pocket and handed it to you, "This is a Pokemon of mine, to be called out in the event of some such sort of emergency. Very well trained indeed, and will only obey the orders of one it knows to be working with me, if not the orders of me myself. I need not inform it that you are working alongside myself, so you are not to be worrying on that point- it will know."
You accept the ball from Looker (*Obtained Looker's Poke Ball!*) and on Looker's orders, you return Charu to its Poke Ball as Looker returns Escavalier to its own ball. "Now then," said Looker, "Before we are to begin, have you any further questions for me?"
Well, do you?
~~~~FFA inventory~~~~
Looker's Poke Ball (A Poke Ball containing a Pokemon owned by Looker, to be used in the event of an emergency. Whatever it is has been well trained, and will follow your commands in battle without question, as it will somehow sense that you are working for Looker.)

When Looker gave Vege the dress of a team rocket grunt. Vege tried it on and it fitted on him perfectly. He turned over to Looker. Looker gave him a pokeball which contained a pokemon which is to be used in an emergency only. Looker said to ask any questions Vege had in his mind before they move on to the mission..

Vege looked at the ball and was happy to have a new pokemon."Whoa! New pokeball with a new pokemon. Well looker what pokemon does it contain in it, what level does it have and where do we have to go this time, There main headquarter or a small secret base." Vege asked to Looker.

vegetunks397: Looker smiled at your enthusiasm. "Now do not be getting too much carried away," he advised you. "The Pokemon within, it is not yours to keep, naturally, merely for you to borrow during the course of this mission. The ball's contents, as to them, it is-"

At that point, a commotion was heard from out in the open. Looker turned to look, as did you, and what did you see? A pair of Team Rocket grunts cornering a small boy.

"Ah! So, the time for action has very much arrived upon us!" Looker exclaimed. "Come, we are to do battle against these slimeballs! Then upon their defeat, we may interrogate them for such valuable information as we are setting out to learn in the first place. Let us go!" Without further ado, Looker led the way out.

"Alright, punk, give it over!" one of the grunts was snarling.

"N-no!" the little boy was whimpering, as he clutched a Poke Ball tightly to his chest. "This is my Mudkip! Please don't steal it!"

"Halt! Stop! Desist and cease, in the name of the law!" Looker declared. "For I am an agent of the International Police, and I am to place you under arrest, scumbags of the team of Rocket!" At this, the two grunts wheeled around, each of them clutching a Poke Ball.

"We'll see about that," sneered one of the grunts as he threw a Poke Ball. "Duskull, go get them!"

"Yeah, you too, Frillish!" the other grunt shouted.

A small, black, floating cloak with a skull mask, and a frilly blue jellyfish, both materialized out of thin air. Looker glanced at you. "I am thinking you should use the secret weapon now," he said quietly. "For Charu's Scratch, it will do nothing to these spectral adversaries of ours." Then, he threw a Poke Ball. "Go! Croagunk!" Looker shouted, unleashing a blue poisonous frog. Knowing Looker was absolutely right, you throw the ball he gave you.

From Looker's Poke Ball emerged a sturdy-looking purple creature. It stood on four legs, and vicious spikes jutted out of its body, including on its sizable ears. It was a level 30 male Nidorino, ready to go with any of the level-up moves it would know at that point, plus every single TM move, HM move, Egg move, and Move Tutor move it had access to.

"Croagunk, go! A Dark Pulse to each of them, now, I say!" Looker ordered Croagunk.

"Duskull, hit Croagunk with Psychic, then do the same to Nidorino!" one of the grunts called.

"Frillish, two Icy Winds!" the other grunt shouted.

Looker's Nidorino glanced back at you, awaiting orders. What do you do?

When Looker was answering my question just then two team rocket grunts were troubling small kids. We went to them and told them that we were international police officer.

They took there pokemons out. One duskull and the other one was frillish. This time Looker sent his croagunk out. Vege thought this was the best time to use this pokemon given by Looker.

Vege threw it and a lvl 30 Nidorino with every single TM move, HM move, Egg move, and Move Tutor moves he has access to. Looker and the two grunts ordered their moves, now it was Vege's turn.

"Whoa! lvl 30 Nidorino with every moves he has access to. I love it. Hey Nid, may I call you Nid. Nid use Blizzard on both of them and tell them what pokemon are you."Vege said. Vege was surprised to see it. He always wanted a poison pokemon. He got it but he wanted for a life-time. Vege was felling very happy.

vegetunks937: You are clearly thrilled to be using a Nidorino in the battle, and upon your command, he unleashes a powerful Blizzard at both ghosts. Frillish is not fazed by this much, and retaliates with Icy Wind, which sends shivers through both Croagunk and Nidorino's bodies. They find themselves slowed down, and thus, susceptible as Duskull blasts them both with Psychic. Though clearly having taken a particularly large chunk of damage, Croagunk manages to unleash a pair of Dark Pulses.

"Croagunk, try the Faint Attack on the Duskull!" Looker commanded. "Then hit them both with Rock Slide!"

"Duskull, two Psychics again! Take out that Croagunk!" the grunt ordered.

"Frillish, hit the Nidorino with BubbleBeam, then Shadow Ball!" shouted the other grunt.

Croagunk is clearly winded. Being Poison/Fighting, it has a massive weakness to Psychic moves, and isn't likely to survive another onslaught like that one. If you're not careful, you could find yourself flying solo in this match. Luckily, the Ghost-types aren't looking so hot either. Blizzard didn't do as much to Frillish as it did to Duskull, but Croagunk's Dark Pulses had really helped. You might need to get creative if you intend to pull out a victory here.

What will you do?

OOC: You're allowed to order up to two attacks per round, by the way.
