"That's got to be pretty hard," Seiko bit her lip and turned to grab a pillow, hugging it close. "My condolences."

Sasha shook her muzzle. "Thanks, but that's not necessary. Seiko doesn't treat me much different from the other Pokemon. Does your trainer tend to do that?"

Kawaii shrugged "ive been going to therapy for it so its gotten better."

Kawaii shook her head "it's fine, just let them interact." She muttered and shuffled through the book for answers.
Tengu silded forward and breathed out a long breath calling for his soul.
Frighya giggled That's alright.

Rumpleteaser nodded and lead the dewpider past the bathrooms into the battle room

Frieghya smiled and swished her tail Zap cannon, impressive. it dawned on the espeon how much she used her tail if i could learn more moves using my tail, that would be cool.
Victoria smiled slowly, her markings glowing for a bit "alright then, I yield."
Rumpleteaser nodded slowly and, for some odd reason, still drank the tea. "I dont want to be afraid anymore." she murmued.

Ami sighed in defeat. "Fine... I just can't help but worry that something bad might happen..."
Glimmer bounced from foot to foot somewhat impatiently, as uncomfortable about the whole situation as her trainer. Especially since Tengu was starting to get a little too close for comfort...

The woobat put the remains of his food up on a counter and gave an experimental hop. 'That... wasn't very far at all,' he stated plainly, aware that he was pointing out the obvious. 'Looks like I'm going to be stuck on your level for a bit.' Nadie chuckled nervously before realizing that he may have made another mistake. 'U-um, no offence or anything!'

'Woooah, this place is big!' Bell scuttled into the battle room and looked about the place, making note of the device similar to one in the kitchen off to one side. 'What's this place for?'

Keith smiled back, and quickly withdrew a single Luxury Ball from the PC. "Alright, Liliana, come out!" he exclaimed, throwing the ball in the air, and unleashing the female Dusknoir into the kitchen. "Lil, this is my friend Kawaii. Kawaii, this is Liliana."

"Nice to meet you, Kawaii," replied the Dusknoir. "I love your pink hair!"


Oh, what, like Aqua Tail, or Poison Tail? Yeah, that'd be cool," nodded Cyanide.


Pomona smiled as Victoria stopped, though looked alarmed to see Rumpleteaser drinking the tea! "Wait, didn't you say she puts something in it?" she asked worriedly.

Tengu shuddered once, twice then
Nothing.
The tension was palpable but nothing happened. Kawaii sighed in dissapointment. She scooped up the little acorn and walked back into the house.
Frieghya smiled I'm not offended. she wrapped her tail around the woobat comfortingly.


Rumpleteaser shrugged, "battle practice "

Kawaii smiled "nice to meet you too. Thanks!" She blushed slightly.
Frieghya sighed nothing beats a good swift though.
Rumpleteaser smiled and stalked over to Victoria laying at her paws.
Victoria glanced at pomona "that's the thing, nothing would have happened to her if she didn't really want to join me. You can't force a recruitment like this. Some part of her wanted to do it."

"Eheh, uh, didn't mean to embarrass you," Liliana chuckled sheepishly as she noticed Kawaii blushing. "I'm wondering, though, is it naturally pink?" she added, sounding genuinely curious. "I've never seen someone with naturally pink hair before, but then, my original Trainer's hair is lavender, and that's her natural hair color, so I can't rule out the possibility, y'know?"


"Having seen you use Swift before, hard to argue with that," grinned Cyanide.


"Oh," Pomona murmured. She still looked a little confused- this was really what Rumpleteaser wanted? She had seemed so scared of Victoria's attempts to recruit her... "Rumpleteaser, is that true?" she asked her friend. "You really did want this?"

Ami sighed as well, relieved that nothing overwhelmingly terrible occurred. Kawaii's disapointment was plain to see, sure, but... at least neither seedot went kablooey, right? She recalled Glimmer, who was clearly unpleased with this outcome as well- albeit for completely different reasons, most likely.

Nadie blushed a bit as she wrapped part of herself around him. 'Th-that's nice. I really don't want to hurt anyone's feelings on accident...'

'Battle practice?' Bell thought for a moment 'So, even pokemon with a place to stay need to do that? I really didn't expect that.'

Kawaii returned with a new Pokemon curled in her palms. It was a Starly that cooed lightly.
Frieghya blushed you could never offend me.

rumpleteaser looked alarmed "oh you don't know about competitive battling!" she thumped her tail .

Kawaii shook her head then paused "well, I can't remember the last time I dyed my hair and it's still fresh, hmmm."
Frieghya chuckled and swished her tail as if to prove a point.
Rumpleteaser lifted her head and nodded "I felt that if I did this my fear would dissipate. It did."
Victoria nodded and licked the top of rumpleteaser's head.

"Interesting," remarked Liliana. "I wouldn't have guessed you'd dyed it, personally."

"Me either, to be honest," Keith added.


Cyanide chuckled as well. "I'm not half bad with Swift myself," she added. "I don't think you ever saw me use Swift before, have you?" she asked Freighya.


At Rumpleteaser's words, Pomona couldn't help but smile. "I'm glad you're not afraid anymore, then," she replied, before giving her friend a gentle hug with her vines.

Ami found herself mulling over what had just happened as she waited for her host to return, well aware that Kawaii probably needed a moment as well. Whatever she had wanted to do with Tengu had apparently failed, though it was a bit difficult to tell if Ami's panic attack earlier had any sort of impact on the outcome... It wasn't too long before Kawaii came back, however, carrying a small bird pokemon instead of the unfortunate acorn. "Hey, that's kinda cute," Ami admitted. At the very least, the starly's coo confirmed what its eyes couldn't- it's soul was definitely still intact.

'Oh, thank goodness for that!' He carefully hopped close enough to snuggle. 'That really does make me feel a bit better...'

'Competitive battling?' Bell looked a little confused. 'So, fighting for fun, right? That doesn't sound very safe...'

Kawaii chuckled to lighten the ,"don't worry, little Wasabi here is just nervous." She pet the bird with a thumb and the bird opened its eyes and coed happily.
Frieghya blushed do you like naps?

rumpleteaser paused and shook her head "no we stop before anyone gets seriously hurt and we always have healing items on hand."

"That could be," Liliana murmured thoughtfully. "Um, Kawaii," she added. "I... don't suppose you might have anything for me to eat?" she asked.


"Yeah, I didn't think so," agreed Cyanide. "Can I give it a try in here or is there somewhere else I'd be better off using it?"


Pomona smiled as well. Then, she turned to Victoria. "Um... I'm sorry, Victoria," she apologized to the Purrloin. "I'm sorry I thought you were gonna hurt Rumpleteaser, or force her to do something she didn't want to do."

Ami let out a small sigh of relief upon recieving confirmation that her suspicions were correct and put on a more welcoming face. "Well, there's no need to worry, Wasabi, I'm not gonna hurt you!"

'Yeah, naps are great,' Nadie admitted, followed by a small yawn. 'Especially after a heavy meal...'

'Oh, that's nice!' Bell thought on the matter for another second. 'A fight to see who's better, huh? I still can't wrap my head around it, but maybe that's just me being bug-brained again!'

Kawaii smiled as the bird coed and hopped out and fluttered over to the other trainer and chirped happily.
Frieghya smiled and picked up the woobat using her telepathy. I'll take us to my favorite spot to nap. she took him to the Pokemon bedroom.
before rumpleteaser could respond two Pokemon entered the room. One was a herracross and the other was a litwick with a pink flame. They hopped on the platform and bowed to each other .

Kawaii nodded and pointed over to the spread made by little miss.
Frieghya perked up we have a battle room!I'll show you. she lead the way out of the kitchen and into the battle room.
Victoria shrugged and smiled
,"don't worry about it. My methods can seem a little confusing or forceful to others."

Liliana's eye lit up at the sight of the food. "Oh, this looks good," she smiled, floating over to make herself something to eat.

"Liliana actually used to belong to Marion of the Elite Four," Keith said to Kawaii, once again referring to them as the Elite Four despite there currently being only three of them- a hard habit to break indeed. "Lil and Peeves practically grew up together, they fell in love back when they were just Duskull, and they even evolved into Dusclops simultaneously."


"Hey, sounds good to me," grinned Cyanide as she followed Freighya right into the Battle Room. "Whoa, nice," the Umbreon remarked, eyeing her surroundings. She jumped up onto the platform, and was about to show her Swift attack, but stopped. "Hey, Freighya," she said. "How about we battle?"


Pomona nodded. "I didn't know what to make of it all," she admitted. "I'm sorry, though, but I won't join," she added. "I don't mean any offense, I just don't think it's for me."

Ami held out a finger for him to perch on if he so chose. "You're quite the cheerful one, huh?"

'Oh, of course! It would be pretty weird to sleep in the kitchen, right?' He smiled encouragingly as he felt her pick him up. 'Alright, lead the way!'

'Huh, where did they come from?' Bell shook his head, looking a little annoyed with himself. 'Er, that's not important. It looks like they're about to fight, right?'

Kawaii nodded "once he gets to know you. He can't quite fly yet."
Wasabi perched on ami's finger and seemed to smile.
Frieghya lead the way to the pokemon room and curled up in her favorite patch of sun.


rumpleteaser shrugged, "do you want to watch?'

Kawaii smiled "I bet she is really happy to be living with her mate."
Suddenly a spoink came bouncing into the kitchen and almost ran into the dusnoir.


Frieghya grinned definitely, you first?


Victoria smirked "I wouldn't expect you to."

"Oh, for sure," Keith smiled back, nodding. "Liliana's been very happy since becoming part of the team. She and Peeves spend a lot of time with each other, though she also tends to hang out with Hermione sometimes."

Liliana saw the Spoink that nearly ran into her. "Oh, hello," she greeted the Psychic-type. "Who are you?"

Cyanide grinned back, and by way of an answer, her rings started glowing brightly, causing multiple star-shaped rays of energy to form all around the Umbreon. Then, the stars took off, honing in on Freighya, just as unavoidable as Swift attacks tended to be.

Pomona nodded, glad that Victoria understood. "So, umm... do you two wanna meet any of my other friends?" Pomona asked.

"It looks like he's getting there, though!" Ami raised her other hand to pet Wasabi, pausing a fair ways away to keep him from thinking that she was about to attack or something. "May I?"

'Oh, it's pretty warm here!' The tone of Nadie's voice made it clear that he was more appreciative of the sun than his wild cousins would be. 'I can feel why you like this place...'

'I, uh...' Bell blinked (rather, his pupils did). 'Yeah, I'll watch for a bit. I gotta learn at some point, right?'

wasabii chirruped and let himself be pet.
Frieghya smiled and curled up around the woobat, purring slightly.
rumpleteaser nodded and watched as well. The heracross ran toward the litwick who let loose a fire-y wheel. The bug type cringed but aimed another punch at the fire type.

Porco Roso hopped back for a few paces "I'm sorry madam, I was not watching where I was going. My name is Porco Roso."

frieghya took the hit with grace then fired a beam of pure PSYCHIC energy.
Victoria nodded "of course, let me just go see rumpleteaser off to bed. My process tends to tire out the recruit." the skitty yawned as if to punctuate this point and leaned heavily against Victoria as the purrloin escorted her into the back. Victoria retuned shortly and sat down neatly in front of the Ivysaur.

Ami giggled a bit as she ran a couple fingers across Wasabi's head, careful not to do anything that could potentially cause him pain. "You're a smooth little guy, aren't you?"

Nadie sighed as he sank a bit into Freighya's soft fur, wrapping his wings around himself. 'I don't think I need to ask, but... are you really comfortable with me laying on you like this?'

Bell cringed slightly as the litwik's counterattack struck true, cutting the heracross' attack short. 'Oh, that had to hurt...' he muttered, ignoring his own resistance to the element in question.

Keith nodded. "Yeah," he agreed. "I haven't actually had a chance to do any battling with Lil just yet, though. That's something I'm looking forward to trying. I even helped her learn Gunk Shot," he added. "Hey, in fact," he added. "Kawaii, what would you say to a battle against me and Liliana?"


"Oh, it's OK, no harm done," Liliana smiled. "Besides, you would have passed right through me anyway, considering I'm a Ghost-type. It's nice to meet you, Porco Roso. My name's Liliana." She tilted her head, looking curiously at the Spoink. "Is it true Spoink have to bounce constantly?" she asked. "That's what I've always heard, but... what about when you're sleeping?"


Cyanide gave a chuckle as Freighya responded with a powerful Psychic attack... that washed over the Umbreon with no ill effects whatsoever. "Lot of power in that attack," grinned the Umbreon. "Too bad Dark is immune to Psychic!" she added. Her yellow rings crackled with sparks as a ball of electricity formed before her. And then, as soon it was ready, Cyanide unleashed the Zap Cannon attack.


Pomona nodded- the Skitty's yawn served to prove Victoria's point, and so she waited patiently until the Purrloin returned. And while she waited, she thought about who to introduce Victoria to. Meowth? That... did not seem wise. Not even getting into Victoria's hatred of men, Meowth had proven similarly disinclined to get to know anyone in the Purrloin evolution line, citing a previous relationship of his that involved a Purrloin who supposedly broke it off with him without actually telling him. No, no, no... of course, Meowth did need to see that not all Purrloin were like that, just like Victoria needed to see that not all men were horrible, but for those two to meet right now, Pomona knew, was not the best of ideas. She had to think of someone, a true gentleman, someone who even Victoria would have to admit was alright. And then, it came to Pomona in a brilliant stroke of inspiration.

"Alright," she smiled as the Purrloin returned. "One of my friends I'd really like you to meet is one of my best friends, and really nice, too. I wanna say first, though... he is male," she added fairly. "I know you hate men, but that's all the more reason why I think you should meet him, because he's a perfect example of what I mean when I say that not all men are bad. Would this be OK with you?" she asked the Purrloin.

Kawaii shrugged "He was much more nervous when I adopted him."
Frieghya purred Of course, you are very soft. she blushed, thankful the woobat couldn't see her.
Rumpleteaser shrugged "Derpulese is tough"
The punch landed true and the litwick rebuttled with a spit ball of fire.

Kawaii smiled "of course, I have someone I haven't battled with before."
Porco Roso nodded "all the time. I do small light bounces when I'm asleep."

Frieghya smirked and danced under the zap canon before unleashing a swift all in one fluid movement.
Victoria smiled "I judge each male as I meet them, It depends on how they treat us females. So no I don't mind"

"Cool," smiled Keith. "Is it a strong opponent, though?" he added. "I never used Lil in battle before, but that doesn't mean she's a pushover."


"Interesting," murmured Liliana. "So it's like a reflex for you. What happens if you get frozen or paralyzed in battle, though?" she added.


Cyanide really shouldn't have expected Zap Cannon to hit, inaccurate as it was. She felt the Swift attack Freighya retaliated with- the Espeon really was pretty good with that move. "Not bad," grinned Cyanide. "But let's heat things up a little, shall we?" she added, before unleashing a Firestream at the Psychic-type she called her friend.


Pomona smiled happily- if that was Victoria's approach, then the Pokémon the Ivysaur had in mind had nothing to worry about. "I'll be right back- my Trainer's gotta get him outta the PC," she said to Victoria, before approaching Keith. A little translation from Meowth, and Keith got the message. He retrieved the Ground Ball from the PC and sent out its occupant, unleashing his white-finned Stunfisk into the kitchen. Flapping his side fins like little wings, Rubeus hovered a few inches off the floor, and flew after Pomona as she led the way back. "Victoria, this is Rubeus," said Pomona. "Rubeus, this is my new friend Victoria."

"A pleasure to make your acquaintance, miss Victoria," Rubeus said courteously, bowing as best as a Stunfisk could be expected to bow. "It's always a pleasure to meet a friend of Pomona's."

"I hear that most adopted pokemon are," Ami replied without faltering the petting. "Neither of mine were, but I don't exactly have a whole lot of them either."

'I-I am?' he asked in mild surprise. 'Well, you're just as smooth as I thought you'd be.' He then tried to suppress a small yawn.

The heracross, who apparently went by the name Derpulese, certainly didn't seem to be slowing down from the super-effective attack, inspiring a bit in awe in his fellow Bug Type. 'Woah, you're right! The white one's not going down, though.'
