Yeah it was literally as easy as holding down the R button.

Pretty hyped up for this since judging by the trailer, they fixed one of my biggest turnoffs in regards to Gates. Pretty much every dungeon I went to until I just dropped the game was either extremely dark or in a cave. The lighting and layout of the 3D or whatever (Not the actual 3DS 3D, just the game) made it so that half the time I couldn't even see what was around me, causing me to misjudge my turns and completely miss hallways when in large rooms. Like seriously, fuck that.

Eh, I wouldn't say the starters were a problem. What was a problem was the fact that the amount of pokemon was heavily restricted, the text was hella slow to pop up, and you couldn't skip it, you were gated into only doing one mission at a time for like no reason and the pretty much meaningless rewards you got from doing one mission at a time.

Also Spark, are you sure that there wasn't something wrong with your 3DS/copy of the game because I never had the problem with the game being too dark and not being able to see anything.

Could be, but I've never really had the problem with any other games.

BORKED

New Trailer.

Seems like the Staves from the Shiren Series are introduced under the name Branches.
They're basically projectiles that have a limited number of uses.
A piece of he world map was shown, and it looks pretty eerily similar to Rescue Team's World Map.

Well, I must say, the starter selection has greatly improved. I'd have had more of a problem with Gates to Infinity's selection, except I just happen to really like the Axew line. *looks at the level 100 Haxorus I have in FB* Kinda disappointing that Riolu is the only non-starter starter of the bunch, though- I was kinda hoping for something like Munchlax or Cubone... or Trubbish or Koffing (unlikely from the start, I know, but I can dream, can't I?). Oh, well, it's still a pretty decent selection. I'm thinking maybe starting as Chespin in this one, with Tepig as my partner.

In Time/Darkness, diagonal movement was a bitch to actually do because of the DPad. And also, whoever said Axew was broken as shit in GtI... no. I used an Axew, it was probably the largest mistake I've made on a PMD game since I got Blue version, and ended up as a Machop partnered with a Pikachu.

Also, as for the new one's starters... IDK. I mean ofc I want to be a Fire one because I almost always pick Fire, but I want to avoid Cyndaquil because it's terribad, and gen 3 ones because they're terribad. Fennekin would be ideal actually. I'll probably end up with Fennekin and Froakie.

Pay Day is easily one of the best attacks in PMD, because you'll often have cash inflow problems which Pay Day solves miraculously.

Axew's Dual Chop was literally the most op thing in GtI and don't you deny it when it OHKO'd over half of Munna's Gang in that last battle against them and 3HKO'd Kyurem.

Seriously I don't think anything should 3HKO any Stage I Final Boss
Except I guess Rayquaza
Seriously that thing dies to everything

...How fucking overlevelled were you? Dual Chop did fuck-all to them on mine, and I was... IDR what level, but it wasn't far off their levels. I ended up just Dragon Clawing them while Pikachu Discharged them all to death.

I never thought of Axew as being overpowered. I mean, sure, Dual Chop was pretty damn good, but I don't think I was 3HKOing any bosses with it. Kyurem was easier to deal with than I had feared, but I didn't think it was that easy.

Linked Charge+Electric move is still the most broken thing to exist. I'm sorry but a not very effective Spark should not be doing 350 damage to Dialga

Also can we please open multiple treasure chests at once in this game

Resisted hits from what I know do 90% of the damage they normally would. Resistances mean nothing.

Like Mid-thirties.

I guess it helped Dual Chop was maxed out as ai didn't let Axew use any other Moves except Rock Tomb because they're all horrible.

But the most Broken thing to exist is a Drifblim that holds nothing with Silver Wind and Ominous Wind linked.

Meh. It's probably also me not really using 'moves' unless I'm up against a boss, or I'm low on health, so Dual Chop was like, barely touched.

I tend to use moves more often than not, so Dual Chop did get pretty powered up. I think by the time I tried to learn Dragon Claw, it was to the point where just one hit from Dual Chop was almost as powerful as Dragon Claw. Maybe even more powerful, I dunno- it's been a while since I've played.

I don't care as long as we can recruit Kecleon shopkeepers. And please this time without the superior luck required.

You get more EXP if you use a move at least once. Why anyone would skip out on this is beyond me.

To be fair, you get even more EXP if you use linked moves and I almost never use them since I think they are usually a waste of resources.
