It really hates weather. Also, is the only legend you suggested Jirachi? Oh you! Bronzong isn't bad, it just can't do much other than set up Rocks, Screens, or Trick Room. Anything after that and it has trouble. Skarmory is seriously good if you know how to play it. But like I said: What is the goal of this team? Is it HO, balance, random shit? Too difficult to make suggestions when I don't know what I'm dealing with.

I'm just telling you, because if nobody does, you're going to keep making a total ass of yourself like this. Just because Metagross is not as popular in Gen 5 as he was in Gens 3 and 4 doesn't mean some huge metagame shift occurred which rendered him horseshit. Metagross is still a great Pokémon, with both the stats and the moves to back it up. Part of what makes him so good, too, is the sheer volume of legitimate movesets he can run. Choice Band, Choice Scarf, Agility sets, utility sets ... physically offensive, specially offensive, mixed offensive, defensive ... Metagross is a great wild card. So you're either stupid for recommending Gothitelle, stupid for ridiculing the recommendation of Metagross, or both.

I quite literally have my glasses off and may have missed the j/k, but still. You should quit making fun of Metagross recommendations if you're going to sit there and push for Gothitelle. You really can't have it both ways. ^^;

For example, Kingdra, Gothitelle, Victini, Slowbro etc. I can name an important flaw in all of those(Kingdra's reliance on opposing Rain, Gothitelle's lack of recovery, Victini's stat drops from V-create, Slowbro's weakness to voltTurn) that makes them harder to use. Be very, very careful running Breloom in today's metagame. That's my piece of advice, anyway.
By the way, I'm honestly a bit too knackered to figure out how much that'd affect you, but personally I'd drop Breloom for _something_ else, what exactly depends on what you want, and I thought I'd also mention that Landorus and Jirachi are reasonably syned, Landorus hits so hard on the special site it's fucked up, and either ScarfRachi or DefensiveRachi is good. That's what I think anyway. |

I run Focus Sash on my Mamoswine and find that it's a generally great item for him to have with an Ice Shard set.
Choice Scarf: totally viable, but if you're going to do this then you may as well run Icicle Crash / Earthquake / Superpower / Stone Edge and get it over with. Do this though and you'll cry bitter tears as you fail to outspeed faster/higher priority users or just plain faster Pokémon (like a twice or thrice DD'd Pokémon)Personally, I would rank the choices Focus Sash > Choice Scarf > Life Orb. But that's not to say that Life Orb is a bad recommendation nor that it can't be better in specific situations. I've often considered swapping Focus Sash off of my own Mamoswine, despite the boons noted above, simply because of the temptation to swap off Ice Shard for Icicle Crash and to plant a Choice Scarf back on there, making him a different breed of revenge killer in his own right ... though not one that can really handle your average QD or DD spammer imo.

Recently, Random battles has been giving me a hard time, or at least something where my team was onsided to the point where one pokemon ruins me. The match before this, this pokemon was Archeops vs. a team of Wurmple/Slakoth/Exeggutor/Toxicroak/Gallade/Scrafty. (killed Archeops, but a Darumaka ripped through who was left)

Probably my best played UU battle in quite a while.
I'm actually really happy with this team. It's 4-0 (two wins under phoopes, two wins under phUUpes) and I haven't run into anything that's completely stumped me yet. Sure it helps that I made some great predictions (like in that last battle, Pory2 staying in on Cobalion comes to mind), but I think the team is solid. I've had a way to deal with every threat that's been thrown at me so far and that makes me very very happy. Small sample size but I like the way things are shaping up so far. I got the inspiration for certain parts of the team from this Smogcast.
