Dear Princess Celestia,
God Cards are really hard to keep on the field. Your faithful student, Phoopes

Phoopes' god card deck can be a real pain sometimes. I still don't know how I managed to beat it, but it was a horror to face constant 4000+ cards.
That last one he disconnected, though, and while he had Winged Dragon of Ra out, too. I had Underground Arachnid ready to go, so it didn't really matter, though.

So, after a few hours of sifting through my friends array of cards, we believe that we've figured out the deck I'll be using this weekend. We have faith that it should counter most meta if we build it right.

Such a shame, too. I had 6000 Att/Def Ra out. But if you had that, then it wouldn't have mattered anyway.

I almost built a God Card deck, and then I realized it wasn't going to be worth the inevitable frustration.

Anyone up for facing some inevitable frustration?

What you were expecting, someone to say "response?" every time one make a move, isn't something someone with CTS is going to automatically do. I gave you ample time to react to my Normal Summon and you deliberately took advantage of any lack of verbal agreement on me for not abiding by convention. It's a move I can respect, but not something I can accept. I'm a very patient and accommodating person - with friends like Talon and UM, it's a trait that comes both naturally and with rehearsal. That you actually angered me isn't something easily done. You had a number of options with D.D. Crow and didn't even pick the best one, which was banishing Formula Synchron, which I only have one copy of and is pivotal to my deck. I had assumed you were going to chain it to Formula for that reason and was prepared for defeat. But that you selected the less optimal Doppelwarrior just illustrate you could take advantage of D.D. Crow's "broken" status, then spent time bragging about the move, it became tougher to tolerate your sketchy play. "lol you were never worth dueling in the first place" = showing up the opponent. You lost a bit of my respect with that comment. In any matter, I'm over it, but I ask you be more courteous in the future.

>Dopple only runs one Formula Synchron
Lies and slander. It's a known fact that Dopple has 8 of those in his deck. (That's how it seems to me when we duel)

So, testing this deck against the Dino-Rabbit, Wind-Up and Dark World decks my friend has has revealed that this deck is pretty awesome. Gonna build it on DN later tonight or tomorrow. Look forward to seeing how it does against you guys.

OK I better get to reading up on most of the stuff you guys talk about, since I couldn't be more lost, although it's still interesting to see ya discuss strategy. Expect a Deck, although a fairly useless one at that, soon.

Dopple beat me 2 out of 3. Last time we played, he said that he didn't have anything to counter my Deck Out deck, so I brought that.
First game: I was one or two turns away from decking Dopple out before he pulled off a spectacular combo to OTK me, taking all 8000 Life Points in one turn. Second game: Deck Out deck did its job, and I ended up getting Dopple to get rid of all his cards. Admitedly, he helped me out a lot here. Third game: Dopple had this all the way. Didn't obliterate me, but it was pretty one-sided. gg's

It helped that I happened to have two cards which could overcome your stall - Mist Wurm and the Galaxy Gun card.
I saw VGM using the Galaxy Gun in his screenshot win over UM, but I was considering it anyway because of the number of stalls I've seen, and the problem of me being unable to find any good Level 8 or Level 5 XYZs, the most common cards I Synchro into. There are a few decent Level 1s, but I don't have the Extra deck space to commit to them.

Why else do you think I'd want to try it against you guys? I've gotta make sure it'll work against unorthodox decks and you guys are the perfect tests for it. Should have it on DN by some point today.

I'm not particularly partial though to Infernity, I think they're a cool archetype, but I don't find them as compelling as my Black Garden builds. Quote:
If you do, I'll have to use one of my more unorthodox decks.. Like the avatar BTW, Guardian Eatos is one of my very favorite cards. |

I need to test out my tweaked RFP deck later. Added a card that is just... evil. >=D

Just got off an 8 duel marathon with the deck for this weekend. It's Dimensional Eatos Glads. Went five duels against Doppel. Won three, lost two. Played three against Unownmew. Won one, lost two. He won the last two by making me unable to summon Eatos. Could've made all the difference. A few edits and I should to pretty well in the tourney.

I'm making a new deck for Traditional format, so I'd like someone to challenge me there. No need to fear the lolbroken Exodia deck!

Got all the cards for my Chaos Piper deck, except two creature swap, a chaos sorcerer, and the pipers/kinka-byos
My friends got the sorcerer and swaps waiting for me though, and I let my local shop know I needed piper/byo and they said they'll pick some up for me, so i'm good =D I just realized how awful D Fissure would wreck me though, and laughed. Probably won't run this deck seriously, unless I find a good solution for that(unlikely), but it's still a good fun competitive deck =D |

Played 4 games with the new deck, 2 against Talon and 2 against Dopple. The new deck's theme is forbidden cards. There are 55 cards in the deck. All 55 are on the current forbidden card list, which contains 55 cards. Use all the forbidden cards!
Anyway, lost both to Talon and won both against Dopple. CBA to give a brief recap because it's a just for fun deck anyway.
