In other words, Dark is just too good to have to deal with some sort of 'gym'. I mean, who has time for that silliness, anyways? |

Also, on the subject of the Elite 4, Dark type should definitely be given a rest and replaced with either an Electric or Grass type E4 trainer. I would even love to death seeing maybe Lt. Surge or Erika from Kanto rise up to become an Elite 4 member of another region, but that would be asking too much. A grass/Fire Jack-o-Lantern pokemon has been long awaited too. Have different versions of the Jack-o-Lantern pokemon have different faces and become like a new Unown where people can try and collect all of the faces.

I could see a Torkoal prevo, though. Think about it: a cute baby tortoise.

Torkoal evo is unnecessary to those who love Torkoal as is but probably wouldn't hurt for those who give Torkoal about as much love as a gravestone for someone they don't know. [/strange comparisons] I don't expect it would do him much good though. Yet while we're on the topic of evos we'd like to see:
Jynx evo Mawile evo Pachirisu evo (ŕ la Sentret-->Furret) Emolga evo ('cause I want one, dammit! ) Short list is short because I keep thinking of things which people always say needs an evo (like Farfetch'd) or ones which need one to be competitive in OU but don't really need one concept-wise (like Stantler or, admittedly, Emolga). The ones that I personally would like to see an evolution for are the ones listed above plus various ones I'm sure I'm forgetting. I've always been more of a retyping guy.

Let us make a faster, bulkier, and stronger Jynx with Dry Skin, Nasty Plot, Calm Mind...... WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?

1, I don't really give a damn about shit tiers. Jynx is UU as is. You're acting like an evo would bump her to Übers. Which brings us to ...
2, I expect a Gen 4-style stat boost, i.e. 10 points to any stat at best and more likely 5 points or even 0 points. And that's because ... 3, I 100% want the evolution for reasons of style and concept. Not for competitive desires, not because I think she's weak as is (duh she's not). 100% for reasons of style and concept.

One more thing I would like to see changed that I know won't happen is that they quit it with the downloadable legendaries. It feels like a complete cheat and lessens their legendariness.

I really hope if they make another Gen, they fill out the type combo chart and evolve some Pokemon who have desperately needed evolution for 10+ years (e.g. Farfetch'd, Delibird, Luvdisc).

I am 100% okay with them issuing an erratum that says that Alomomola is Luvdisc's evo. (Why this wasn't the case can only be blamed, I think, on the fact that with Gen V they were all drinking the "UNOVA ONLY HAS UNOVA POKEMON, BITCHES! " Kool-Aid, a Kool-Aid which ran out the moment you completed the Pokemon League challenge.)

They don't even look that similar. We may as well just issue errata that Metapod actually evolves into Venomoth and Venonat evolves into Butterfree, or that Sawk and Throh evolve from Tyrogue, just like the Hitmons. Let's declare that Muk evolves into Garbodor and Farfetch'd into Doduo, and let's add a middle evo to the Diglett line, Dugduo! It's just as idiotic.
Moving on, I would not be opposed to an evolution of Dunsparce. |

But think of the possibiliteeeez
Not only does Torkoal then get an Eviolite boost in comp, but we get an awesome steam powered tortoise with the powers of water and fire! If you do not like the idea of an awesome steamy tortoise please see below for appeasement Spoiler: show

Talon's "switch out your four move battle movepool from a massive master movepool so you don't have to use relearners and TMs and HMs and Move Tutors all the time" suggestion from a different thread would also be nice.

Eh, I dunno. That takes away the challenge of choosing which move to discard when you level up ingame.

That's not his point. No matter who you use, it's not exactly a challenge to figure out whether to replace an old move with a new move or not. "Hmm, I currently have Swords Dance, Slash, Focus Energy, and Submission. My guy wants to learn Shadow Claw. I ..." You obviously delete the Focus Energy that you never use anyway and you teach him Shadow Claw.
The only person this is challenging for is either very young or very stupid. And both of those parties are protected, rather than cruelly punished, by a master movepool. But it's not like regular players are punished by the master movepool either since even they may want to change things around in response to metagame shifts beyond their control years on out from now. Everyone stands to benefit from the change.

If Focus Energy wasn't such a terrible move it would be really awesome...Maybe if the crit boost was a little higher it would be worth it. Or if it had a secondary effect as well. Or if it didn't wear off.
