so... I've realized that for as painful as Gen 6 breeding can be, it's still easy.
I have a 5 IV + 4 IV parent. At this point, all I need is an Azumarill with Adamant, Jolly, or Brave with the right stats and I'm done. Though the 31/31/31/31/x/31 and x/31/31/31/31/31 fathrs was a hard pick. at worse I'll switch the one with not perfect HP for the one with shit Sp.Def at some point |

Serebii have confirmed you get a Shiny Charm for completing the National Dex. I imagine that will make the madusa method really easy, in which case I’ll probably shoot for some more competitively viable shinies. I’m currently trying to complete the National Dex while I wait for Pokébank to be released and it’s HARD. I think the Pokédex must have been half the size it is now last time I completed it.

I also got a 5IV Impish Honedge on Wonder Trade. It's a shame I don't like Aegislash.

So this was a pretty awesome randbat. Most of the ones I've been doing so far SUCK because its either winning by hax(for example, a Kyurem-B critting a Machamp with Outrage), or have been complete wash-outs. This one though I had fun.

I like this stall team a lot.
I've only played two games on the ladder with it, and this is the second. I already feel like it's the best stall team I've ever built though (spoilers: I've only ever used one other stall team in OU, in BW1 OU...).

Any reasons you don't run Spikes Klefki? Having just Stealth Rock generally isn't enough for a stall team(not that I would call this a true-blue stall team mind you, but its pretty good).

Because Sub/Swagger/T-Wave/Foul Play can win games completely on its own. I ran the same set in Ubers with Liepard (lol) and that could completely sweep teams by itself sometimes. (See this replay) The set is even better in OU with a Pokemon with a great typing that can actually take a hit.
If there's anything I can replace Togekiss is underwhelming I think. Though Heal Bell is very nice. Maybe I should give it SpA/Spe EV's instead of HP/Spe.

It's official: Gen VI sucks, and I enjoy Gen V much better.
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-73984804 This was easily one of the most fun matches I've ever had. And its not because Sun dominated Rain like it was its little bitch, but it really felt like a battle where skill was involved. There are simply too many threats now for any team to cover perfectly, and especially shit like Klefki(god the dual screen Klefki is literally WIN MOAR). Also, I KNOW I've seen this user before...phoopes help me out here?

So, December usage statistics are out. This list gives me cancer. Literally, I took the time to go through the list and put who will probably rise and who will probably fall this gen(I think the cutoff is 4%). And...cancer. This Gen is proven to be terrible for meta diversity. You know something is wrong when previously Uber Pokemon get ignored(then again, Mew last Gen.)
Code:
Previous UU/RU/Nu Pokemon that will rise into OU: Azumarill Mandibuzz Togekiss Previously OU Pokemon that will drop: Forretress Tentacruel Landorus(what the actual fuck) Salamence Deoxys-D Deoxys-S Terrakion Latias Celebi Jellicent Hydreigon Jolteon Keldeo Vaporeon Gastrodon Politoed Kyurem-Black Manaphy Magnezone Metagross Haxorus Thundurus-Therian Reuniclus Hippowdon Tornadus-Therian Ninetales Dugtrio Toxicroak

Read post 13. The UU Beta that's going to be going on will be insanely wacky but once it officially becomes a tier it won't be a problem.

I was really just basing it off of usage stats. Landorus in UU is just never going to happen, the thing 2HKOs OU. I know that full well. I'd love to participate in the UU Beta but I'm nowhere near good enough.

So the current pokemon in the "OU" tier are;
Aegislash, Alakazam, Azumarill, Blissey, Breloom, Charizard, Clefable, Cloyster, Conkeldurr, Donphan, Dragonite, Espeon, Excadrill, Ferrothorn, Forretress, Galvantula, Garchomp, Genesect, Gengar, Gliscor, Goodra, Greninja, Gyarados, Heatran, Infernape, Jirachi, Kangaskhan, Klefki, Landorus, Landorus-Therian, Latios, Lucario, Mamoswine, Mandibuzz, Mawile, Pinsir, Rotom-Wash, Sableye, Salamence, Scizor, Skarmory, Smeargle, Starmie, Sylveon, Talonflame, Tentacruel, Terrakion, Thundurus, Togekiss, Trevenant, Tyranitar, Venusaur, Volcarona That's 53 pokemon. Why is that so terrible? |

Because its a severe drop is diversity compared to previous Gen OU. I can say right now that list probably won't hold, I don't see Donphan, Forretress, Galvantula, Kangaskhan, Klefki, Sableye, Smeargle, Tentacruel, or Trevenant staying in OU.
Plus you can tell that list is outdated because Kangaskhan.

Was it Kangaskhan or Kangaskhanite that was banned? Similarly, Gengar or Gengarite?
