I was not aware a remake had been created, and I was pleased to hear it had better reception than DNF. I was disappointed old Wang wasn't voicing younger Wang, but the younger grew on me fast.

I don't actually own this game, I watched a Let's Play of the first part, but I put it down after that. This game looks bloody cool/funny/fun and I definitely want to play it, and I probably will buy it when I go back home, if not sooner.

I haven't played the original, but I did play this. It was certainly a huge load of fun and the story was actually good. But I don't know, it just felt like it was missing a little something that would glue it all together. Also, to be frank the weird Chinese accent felt off-putting to the very serious story.

Lo Wang is supposed to be Japanese, so maybe that was it.

It's intentionally Asian hodge-podge anyway, but at least he pronounces "Nobitsuro Kage" correctly.
