As they walked and talked, Merida led Atlas out of the guild and down to the river. It had clearly been raining, Atlas could see the channels where water had run down the banks, it would be slippery and perilous if they tried to walk along the banks. Thankfully Merida was already aware of this and released a rather large Swampert into the river. Unfortunately he currently lacked a Pokemon large enough to surf upon. Aquilo could almost certainly walk through the river, however it wasn't worth the risk of the Aurorus getting stuck, besides, a massive ancient Pokemon walking down the river would likely attract unwanted attention. "Nope, haven't got anyone as well suited to the job as your Swampert, so it'll have to do!" Atlas slowly made his way down the slippery bank, digging his toes in as best he could. Ceres and Apollo hesitantly followed, staying close to support each other. "So where are we hitting up first Merida? You mentioned the Canopy Crossways, or are there some nice spots for herbs down river?" |

“I’d like to see him try,” Hugo muttered to himself. “I’d drop his ass in the snow once and for all.” Speaking of revenge, he had a feisty Swinub on his hands now who was looking for a fight. Hugo admired the little one’s determination, and he really did feel bad about scorching it earlier. Weird how much more compassion Hugo had for Pokemon than people. I guess more sad than weird. “So,” he said to the Swinub half-playfully, “you’ve come for my head, have you? Well, you should know that I won’t go down without a fight!” He turned to Houndoom and Weavile. “Which one of you is ready to fight?!” The two Pokemon exchanged a glance and then looked away, neither of which seemed very eager to participate. Perhaps it was because they didn’t want to hurt the Swinub, but probably because they were simply exhausted, having been put through the ringer through the trial. And besides, now that the trial was over, there were no more Pokemon restrictions in place. But even though the trial had been completed, the cold had not dissipated. Houndoom’s Fire and Weavile’s Ice protected them, but would other Pokemon be able to cope? “So what am I supposed to do?” Hugo asked his Pokemon. Houndoom nudged at a Pokeball dangling from Hugo’s belt with her muzzle. “Ah,” Hugo said, understanding. “I guess that could work.” “Alright,” he said, addressing the Swinub. “You want to fight? The let’s fight!” He tossed the Pokeball to the ground, and Salandit appeared! The Toxic Lizard turned to the Swinub and released an eager hiss. It was cold, but hopefully her typing would keep her warm. “Okay, Salandit!” Hugo shouted. “Let’s go! Use Ember!” Collecting: 2x Friend Ball 2x Heay Ball 4x Yache Berry 1x Sirunsan Artefact (worth $500)

TKF: Merida noted your quickness to jump into some kind of job, however, she hoped it wouldn't get you in trouble. "Sure thing, We need to see if there are any special herbs along the banks, otherwise we will have to resort to the Crossway." You and Merida hopped up on the Swampert's back, who seemed to carry you two with little to no effort at all. As you two floated, she showed you a picture of a herb, well several, that were all unique. You certainly hadn't seen any of these before, at least that you knew of. Well except something tickled at the back of your mind. Merida was showing drawings of the herbs, not pulling any out of her bag, but that could be why she's showing you drawings and not pictures or the actual thing. But you couldn't help but think that there was more to the story than she was letting on. Now if this was some other guild that didn't need the resources, you thought, then yeah they can easily get by without going to those banned areas. But, these people were healers. More often than not, they weren't good or bad, just there to heal and fix what's wrong with people and pokemon. Merida steered her Swampert closer to one side and was leaning over to look for any herbs. A thought crossed your mind and a ridiculous one at that. How was the guild really doing... If it was doing worse than they were letting on, then perhaps you should do something about that... But, what? Should you try confronting the tribal leaders? Challenge them to a battle or a challenge to get them to open up their area's and let people look for herbs? Or at the very least, set up a trading post? Merida here never spoke of a place where they could get herbs... On one hand, you can fix a wrong that was caused by an outsider, on the other hand, you could completely mess it up even more. But was it worth it? While you had been thinking over your thoughts, Your Jangamo-o and Chikorita played with the fish and pokemon that poked their heads up to stare at you guys. What do you think you should do? Stormingwolf: You explained your story of how you got here at the castle, and the Sirunsan got out and dusted himself off. "Well as soon as we get out of here, you must leave." He looked around to the other shells of ice and shook his head. "Idiots," he said and started weaving through the shells. Well isn't he a little ray of sunshine, the snot. Anyhow you were torn between two options, you could follow this Sirusan ( who never offered up his name in the first place ) and try to defeat or escape the Froslass, OR you could try and free the rest of the people stuck here in the Castle. On one hand, if you left with him, you'd get back to Rolu sooner. On the other hand, if you stayed, Rolu may not be able to find you, but you could rescue these poor people who could get eaten by Froslass. Doubt and Regret were tugging inside you, trying to make you choose one or the other. Then the little swniub shuffled forward to the next shell and looked at you with a questioning look in its face? Did it even have eyes? Perhaps so, but you couldn't see them. What will you do? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You asked Manny if he had been out here often and if he was lonely, and in reply, he only nodded. The wind bites into you some more, and you shiver in the cold. You sincerely hoped you would get there fast, and currently, you were. You and Manny were moving at a fast pace, and you were moving away from the clearing that you started in and were heading to a more wooded area, though the wind continued to cut through it from what you could see of the snow. What will you say or ask? Rolu's Health 1/4th missing Faints: 1 Energy roots x2

"Or he's just plain rude." Storm shrugged and looked around at the many shells. "Running outside or following that guy might not be a good idea." "It would be even harder for Rolu to find me in a snowstorm..." Storm observed the swinub as it approached another shell. "You want to help them too, don't you?" Storm chuckled and approached the next shell. "Let's help them all, Swinub." And so the two started breaking the icy shells.... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- "Manny...How did you end up in this place?" Rolu walked on, still staying close to Manny. |

"Merida, the guild is in dire straights isn't it?" Atlas spoke plainly, hoping his words wouldn't be taken as an insult. "I can hear it in your voice and see it in your actions, you're getting desperate. I'd like permission to negotiate on behalf of the guild." Atlas took the pin from his chest and handed it to Merida. "I can't afford to be seen as favouring a side, they need to perceive me as a neutral party. I know how desperately you need the help of the tribes and how much you rely on the access to their lands. I'll do my best to get you access again, however you'll need to trust me and go along with what I say." Atlas looked to his Jangmo-o and new Chikorita. This was meant to be about developing his connection with his new healer, but now it seems they had a peacemaking mission. He knew he'd have to find out what the Lythanki needed that the Healers Guild could supply. He knew that native tribes often fell sick due to diseases introduced by settlers and travellers. It was certainly something to look out for, but it was far from a guarentee. "If there aren't any issues, I'd like you to take me to the Chieftain of the Lythanki." |

Stormingwolf: *Storms part Swinub nodded and started gathering up its energy to break the ice shell. This time there was a woman in this shell, and she stumbled out and said something you couldn't understand, but her thanks was clear in her eyes. This lady was very frail looking and was also Sirunsan, she struggled to take a breath, and shivered. She appeared to be too old to be out in this bitter cold of this castle. "Thank you, my dear, I apologize for my son's rudeness. He was out looking for me but didn't know that I too had been captured by this Froslass. " I know I do not have long to live, but I can still help you out, young man. " And from within the folds of her clothing, she produced a Pokeball and tossed it over. Within the Pokeball was a Pachirisu and with a nod, the little squirrel went to the icy shells nearby and attacked it with Super Fang, freeing the wild pokemon who had been stuck inside it, which fled towards the entrance as fast as it could. This could help out a lot you mused. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *Rolu's part " You really should save your energy as much as you possibly can little Rolu, But Manny hadn't really answered your question, nor did he ignore it. Perhaps it was a touchy subject, or maybe he had just been here his whole life. Who knew... As you walked next to the Mammoth pokemon, A structure grew closer and closer in the dimming light of the day, You looked over at Manny and he nodded. This was the Froslasses Castle. You started to get a little tired as you got closer and closer, so you nibbled on half of your Energy root to replenish some energy. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM The ground shook and a blast of frosty air and snow hit you and knocked you off your feet and slammed you into a tree. With your aural perception, you sensed that Storm indeed was alive and inside the castle, but there was a threat between you and him, Two in fact. What will the two of you Do? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rolu's Health: Full Faint's: 1 Half of an Energy Root TKF: The words you spoke had struck Merida dumb, and she stumbled to regain a coherent thought. She looked at you, and back to your hand where you were holding out your apprenticeship pin. A few deep breaths later she was finally able to speak, and the first words out of her mouth got cut off by a pair of what looked to be Lythanki girls, who were waving and yelling frantically to catch your attention from the shore. Merida steered Swampert to the shore, and she took off running, becoming a little blur of red hair. You grabbed your two pokemon and took off after her, she Had to take you to the chieftain, but it could wait until you and Merida helped these two girls. As you got closer, Merida's Swampert overtook you and caught the Pangoro and the little girl it had in its arms. Something clearly wasn't right here. "Girls, you aren't supposed to be here, what in the name of Arceus were you thinking?!?" Merida didn't yell, in fact, she was focusing all of her attention on the little girl who had been carried in the Pangoro's arms. "The witch doctor," the slightly older girls gasped, "The witch doctor, Mery, he is causing the sickness, many Lythanki have contracted his disease, and some have already passed." This struck you dumb. There was a Witch Doctor? Shouldn't he be helping his people instead of causing death? Merida looked like she was ready to strangle something, her hands shaking, her face blushing a very deep shade of crimson. She got up and turned to you " Looks like you'll Have to go to the chieftan anyways. Take the pin, we cannot afford for you to be neutral right now. " She nodded her head over to the north where you could see a temple up in the distance. "Head to the temple, do whatever it takes to get to the Chieftan, this is an emergency of the worst kind. This witch doctor was banished from the tribes a good few years back, and I remember for I was there, that He vowed to take revenge on the Lythanki people." "We have no time to waste, go go go!" She shooed you with her hands and had her Swampert carry the sick little girl, and had the Pangoro carry the other two girls. There was no time to waste, you turned and started to head for the Old King's temple.

Storm walked over to the woman and shook her hand, noticing that it was very cold. "My name is Storm, may I ask yours?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rolu needed a small moment to get back to his senses before he jumped into action. "Manny, can....I count on your support?" Rolu thought to himself: "Storm is so close...I have to get through somehow" Rolu attempted to used foresight in preparation of his next attack. He had to if the Froslass was there. Rolu nodded to Manny.... |

King Ghidorah- Things hadn't exactly ended well with the Sirunsan. You'd be rewarded for your efforts and some of your personal traits had been commended, but you can't help but feel like things didn't go as smooth as they could have. Did you regret any of your actions? Hell no, Archie and the other Sirunsan's deserved exactly what they got from you. One thing Archie didn't deserve was the title he'd received, but maybe the young boy would learn from the experience you had shared together.
You now found yourself with another battle on your hands, the feisty young Swinub you'd accidentally scorched earlier was back seeking vengeance! No longer bound by the restrictions of the trial, you bring out a fresh face to take on the Swinub. The young Salandit landed in the snow, hissing at her opponent as she got accustomed to her snowy surroundings. Despite her fire typing, her reptilian nature meant that she was often at the mercy of her external environment. She would be alright for now, but a prolonged fight would certainly not be to her advantage, best to make this quick.... The Salandit dashes through the snow, her jaws snapping open as she spits a stream of flaming embers at the Swinub. The Swinub recoils as the first couple of embers hit it, but thankfully the insulation from its Thick Fat helps it handle the blow. The Swinub then plows through the snow, moving faster than your Salandit expects. The Ice type was at home in this environment, it was used to moving through the thick snow drifts, unlike her. It slams into her with a powerful Tackle, knocking her to the ground. It follows up with a Mud Slap, momentarily blinding the opposing Fire type with a mask of mud. With the Swinub holding a type advantage as well as a home field advantage, what can Salandit do to bring home the win? |

The Fire Starter made a beeline for the Butte and leapt onto the rock. As a primate, the Chimchar would have no issue scaling the monolithic structure, meanwhile, he only had a small amount of rock climbing experience and certainly not on anything of this scale. "Alright Chesnaught, your help is required", Xander tossed another Pokeball out, revealing the tanky Kalosian Grass Starter. Chessss Chesnaught! The Chesnaught stood at the ready, he was always happy to lend a hand. "Chesnaught, I need you to follow me up the Butte, Chimchar's already got a head start on us." The Chesnaught wasn't surprised, that Chimchar was always charging ahead recklessly. "Your Fighting Type strength should make things easy enough, just be ready to catch me with your Vine Whip if I fall, okay?" Chesnaught nodded, he'd do his best to prevent his trainer falling to the ground. He didn't think it would be necessary, his trainer was more capable than he gave himself credit, but if it made Xander feel better, he'd do it. "Alright, let's get going before Chimchar gets away from us." Xander reaches for a crack in the rock, before finding a foothold. He'd take it slow and steady, he wanted to reach the top but he also wanted to live! |

TKF: You and your two pokemon started scaling up the monolithic rock famous for having some of the most intense battles in the surrounding area. Yes, this was certainly an adventure to be having. Chimchar was scaling this cliffside with little problems, and surprisingly it was relatively easy for you and your Chesnaught to climb, though you were not as fast nor as sure of your footing as your chimp. Thoughts raced through your excited mind, what kind of pokemon will you meet? How strong will it be? Would you be able to defeat it? All of these thoughts raced through you and filled you with adrenaline, you just couldn't wait until you got up there. But your opponent had already noted your presence and was waiting at the top of the monumental rock. Shrouded in fog at the top of its perch, it sat and waited for you to climb up and challenge it. Unknown to you yet, where all of its previous victories had been crushed quite easily and sent away. It rocked back and forth on its perch, oh how this would be wonderful for it. After it defeated you, a Trainer, It could possibly get its chance to challenge the Guardian of the Hallows. The Guardian knew this pokemon that sat in wait for you, as it rejected its challenges until it could single-handedly defeat a trainer. Then it may allow for a formal challenge. Maybe then he could earn his way back into his pride. The pokemon clicked his claws on the stone, the scars in his fur flexing. Stormingwolf: The woman nodded, "My name is Kaleth. Though I am in no condition to aid you in your attempt to rescue these others, kind boy" She was right, she was shivering a lot, you HAD to get a move on, and try to find a Pokemon that was warm enough to aid in warming her up. Back to work, you thought. And a lot of work you had indeed. The woman's Pachirisu was aiding a great deal too, as it enables you to open twice as many shells of ice and free the Pokemon and people inside them. Several people, you had to drag over to Kaleth as they were alive, but deathly cold and in a coma. While you worked, you could hear something going on outside, loud crashes and noises were coming from some kind of commotion, but you couldn't afford to stop working. You also had to come up with some kind of attack plan to defeat the Frosslass, but you knew you couldn't do that alone. You were going to have to make some kind of speech to the awake and able people to rally their support. But what will you say? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Meanwhile, Rolu had his own problems to deal with. Manny was busy fighting off an Abomnasnow and it wasn't taking any prisoners today it appeared. But you had sensed two pokemon, so where was the other one??? CLICCCCKKKKKKKTRAKKKKKKKKKKKKK You barely dodged that beam of ice from a group of trees, did that mean there was a Pokemon there? Looks like to make it to Storm, you were gonna have to fight this thing, this Pokemon. ------------------------------------- Health: 3/4's full. Faints: 1 Energy root left: half

The regret was instant, that was a long way down! All though the ground was a long way down, he knew it would come back quick if he was to fall. Splat, that would be the end, journey over before it had really even begun. Thankfully he had Chesnaught there if he did need saving, he was confident the fully evolved Kalosian Starter wouldn't let him die. The sweat was running down his face, he needed to concentrate on his goal, and not the possibility of his untimely demise. Xander continued to climb, one hand and foot hold at a time. As he continued to climb higher, he considered what could be waiting for him up there. This was meant to be a gathering place for strong Pokemon, so any opponent was surely not to be underestimated. He'd have to take into account the battlefield as well, hopefully there was enough space to move around up there, but surely consider the size of the Butte, that wouldn't be an issue. He'd give Chimchar the first chance at fighting, the Fire type probably wouldn't listen to him if he tried to call it back anyway. "Wait for us at the top Chimchar", Xander shouted. The Chimchar turned back with a grin on its face, Xander hoped it wouldn't run into trouble, but it wouldn't be the first time. |

So much ice still remained, luckily, the Swinub and Kaleth's Pachirisu helped, making it just a little quicker. So all of them started to break the shells. Many people were still alive, but too weak to help in their current state. "Hmm...Perhaps..." Storm looked around for something that could burn. There were a few convenient branches in some of the icy shells, they probably got in there when the victim tried to resist. He gathered the branches and made a small pile close to the Kaleth. "Pachirisu, may I ask for your help?" "When it storms, there's lightning." "That sometimes leaves a fire after the initial hit." The Pachirisu perked up and started to concentrate electricity on the fire. Soon, sparks appeared and the twigs were set ablaze. The Pachirisu looked happy and the people seemed a little more at ease. "That Froslass is still out there..." "Maybe it's even freezing someone as we speak." There were loud noises coming from outside, a battle perhaps? "May I ask for all of your help?" "We might be able to spare others from having the same fate as us." "Now...Who's with me?" Storm just stood there awkwardly waiting for a reply. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rolu stumbled aside after barely dodging the icy beam. "I am too weak to properly fight back..." "But that doesn't mean that I cannot help." Rolu used Follow Me to distract lure both the Abomasnow and the Froslass into attacking him. Rolu then used quick attack on Froslass, it hit due to him using Foresight earlier. This angered the Froslass greatly. "Manny, hit them with all you've got while I distract them!" The Abomasnow attempted to use Wood Hammer but missed Rolu by a hair. The Froslass used Blizzard, Rolu was blown back feeling slightly faint and numb from the cold. |

TKF's and Stormingwolf's Updates
Kawaii: Last update
TKF: Your Chimchar had indeed reached the top of the mountain and charged off ahead to where you couldn't see, but thankfully you weren't that far away from him. "Charrrrrrrrrr!!?" Your chimp pokemon cried out in confusion, and you could hear sounds of a scuffle beginning, you scurried up as fast as you possibly could with your Chesnaught following you. Perhaps Chimchar attacked the first thing it had seen after getting there? Or maybe it was caught up in some hole from some previous battle? Whatever the scenario, you were determined to help your pokemon. But when you finally pulled yourself up and over the edge of the cliff, you saw what had happened. Not only was there a pokemon waiting for you here at the top already, but it had already taken Chimchar down, or at least was holding him down. Looking a little closer at your starter pokemon, you noticed that there appeared to be no wounds, and although he was struggling and trying to break free, he did not appear harmed. That's somewhat of a relief you thought. Now as to the pokemon pinning him down. It was a Luxio, and this luxio was pretty well kept, no dirt on or in its fur. It didn't look to have gone hungry for any amount of time, in fact... You thought that this was a trainers pokemon, the way it was acting. It was holding itself back, which most wild pokemon do not do when battling. This Luxio was very intelligent, watching you, noting every single thing about you without its eye's ever moving. It had to have been or currently was a Trainers Pokemon. However, unknown to you, this wasn't a trainers pokemon. Kieara watched you, stared. Waited for you to make a move. You couldn't possibly know her name, as most humans cannot understand anything other than human speech. But that was irrelevant here. Here, she would try to help her father, Simba. He had no need of battling this pathetic chimp, what he wanted was to catch the guardian's attention and how was he supposed to do so when he was left to deal with a monkey of a pokemon. Though on the other side of this human there was a strong looking pokemon, and this one looked like he could fight. That one,... That one was the one father had to fight, Kieara thought. Amidst the fog that was swirling around the battlefield, a pair of eyes glowed and slowly started to walk forward. What will you do? Stormingwolf: You stood there awkwardly, looking back and forth at the people you had freed from the ice, your speech... well it wasn't the most inspiring speech ever. But it did have truth in it, and that truth is what was stirring these people into action. Some were obviously too cold and frail to fight physically and those who could, only had a pokemon or two. But try they would, because most of them didn't want to be here for the rest of their lives. So the young and able-bodied of the group, only being around four of them out of the total fifteen you freed, stood up and walked over to ask you what to do. They didn't exchange names with you, perhaps because they didn't want to, perhaps because they didn't think there was time to, or simply perhaps they couldn't speak English. However, they didn't need to, all they needed to do was help. Now what to have them do? Well, the Swinub and Pacharisu were nearly done with cracking ice shells, and all of the people had been freed, and nearly most of the wild pokemon were free and had escaped, though a few stuck around, perhaps to help you? If that was the case then you needed all the help you could get. Now, it was time for you to think up a battle strategy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~ You stumbled back because of the cold bitter wind of a blizzard that Froslass threw at you, but you Endured it somehow. Meanwhile, Manny had indeed heard you ask him to hit them with all of his might, And so he tried to. Stomping on the ground with all of his weight, He caused a Fissure to open up underneath the Abomnasnow, Engulfing it within the earth's frozen crust. Then, since he knew it wouldn't have hit the Froslass, he encased his tusks in ice and charged forward as if his tusks were spears. Ramming into the Froslass, and pushing her back a couple of feet. " Now's your chance, Get inside that castle and find your trainer, I will hold her off as long as I can, GO GO GO!" Manny said as he wrestled with the froslass, holding her attention long enough for the follow me to wear off and for you to rush inside. You thought though, for safety, you'd better eat another part of that energy root. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Energy root eaten, one quarter left. Health: Full Faint's: One

Storm got some leftover sticks from a few of the shells and gave them to the others. "We can use these as some makeshift torches to better protect ourselves against the cold once we encounter the Froslass." "Pachirisu and Swinub can support us in battle." "Actually, since this is a fight for survival..." "Well, I think that it's fine to break the '6 Pokémon' rule" "If everyone attacks the Froslass at once, including the wild Pokémon who may wish to help, then we should be able to overwhelm it before it gets the chance to freeze us once more." "It might even be better to capture her after the battle, to permanently stop her from roaming these lands and encasing innocent people and Pokémon." "Is this plan reasonable?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rolu heeded Manny's instruction and sprinted past the Froslass through the puffy snow. The entrance came in sight, some faint lights and noises coming from within. Rolu scanned the area using aura and saw his trainer, Storm, among a group of different people. He ran and jumped hugged his leg, suprising the trainer. "R-Rolu?!" "You're alright, thank goodness..." "We heard noises outside, is there a battle going on?" Rolu nodded and telepathically said:"Yes, a Mamoswine, Manny and a Froslass are currently battling" Storm took a moment before responding since Rolu never really spoke before. "I see..." "We should help him out, then." Storm walked towards the exit and motioned the people capable of fighting to come. The weakened people remained close to the fire. "We'll return once the Froslass has been captured or fainted." Storm raised his hand and said: "Everyone, attack!" And so, everyone capable of fighting ran outside, along with the Pokémon able to fight to face the Froslass. |

Hugo thought back to how he was able to motivate the Piloswine family to begin with. The Pokeblocks. They were suckers for a sweet treat, and Hugo knew he could exploit the weakness. ”Salandit,” he called out, “use Sweet Scent!” That ought to help Salandit keep Swinub in her line of sight. Now to finish the job. It was getting colder and he could see Salandit’s body heat escaping as steam off her scales. It was only a matter of time before the cold would get to her too, just as it had done to Houndoom. Hugo needed to catch the Swinub off its game. If he surprised the Swinub, there was a greater chance he could put a quick and sudden end to all of this. So how to do that? Perhaps by using a move that most Salandit weren’t capable of. “Hit the Swinub with Dazzling Gleam, Salandit!” And just for good measure… “Then follow up with Iron Tail!”

Kawaii: Last update
TKF: Last update Stormingwolf: You and Rolu charged out of the castle together with the four other abled bodied trainers who each called out a unique pokemon, one luckily, was a fire type pokemon, a Rapidash. Now that was useful, the other pokemon were a Machamp, a Graveler, and a Dedenae. Hmm, there was certainly something else though, the Mamoswine was huge, maybe a little bit bigger than normal, OH?!? Perhaps that Swinub was its child or something like that. Anyhow back to the battle, the froslass was FURIOUS about its meals/statues being freed and fighting back against her, and she unleashed a Blizzard, which was boosted with the cold howling wind. While it was bitterly cold for you and the other people, it wasn't the same for the pokemon. Blowing nearly all of them off their feet, and it buried the Dedenae down in a pile of ice and snow, but it wasn't frozen, just stuck for the moment. Now was time for you to give a move to Rolu, or at least put your plan into action. The other trainers were thinking the same thing and positioned their pokemon to corner the Froslass and make it harder for it to defend herself. Now, that she was cornered, Manny took the opportunity to back off for a moment and peer towards the castle, perhaps for its baby swinub? Perhaps you should tell it that it was okay and helped free you and these other trainers. The Froslass attempted to break free of the group by firing off some shadowballs, but they were relatively ineffective and were easily blocked. Now, what were you going to do? Catch her? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Health: Half way down Energy root left: 1 and a quater Faints: 1 Rolu Gained five Levels

"Everyone, remember your torches, they should keep you safe." Just then, the Froslass used Blizzard, knocking most pokemon over. The torches miraculously stayed lit for everyone. Storm went over to the Dedenne and helped it out of the pile of snow. "Rolu, use your energy root to recover your strength." "Please remain close to me." "Everyone, approach the froslass with your torch in front of you." "Overwhelm it with your attacks, don't be afraid to hit it with the torch until it faints." "No more than that, though." Everyone approached the Froslass, cornering it. The Mamoswine seemed to relax a little. "Mamoswine, there's a small Swinub inside helping to free the others, maybe you're familiar with the small pokemon?" The Froslass tried to scatter the group with the use of shadow balls, but they were blocked and dodged quite easily. "Everyone, attack now!" "We can guarantee a capture after she faints!" |

"Thanks for your help Chesnaught, but let's get someone else involved", Xander withdrew the Chesnaught into his ball and retrieved his Pokedex. He'd encountered this species before, when he'd lived in the Sinnoh region, but it had been some time and he wasn't about to make a silly mistake. "Powerful claws, excellent vision and capable of pumping out a tonne of electricity", Xander assessed his options. Water types were out of the question, the heat would likely weaken his water type moves anyway. However, the sun would likely benefit Fire type moves. Grass would resist Electric as well, making one of his Grass type's a decent choice as well. Xander retrieved a ball from his belt and tossed it out in front of him. "Come on out Cyndaquil!" The ball bursts open, releasing the Fire Mouse onto the rocky ground. The Johto Starter curled up into a ball, its flames not yet ignited. "Cyndaquil, I thought we worked through this", Cyndaquil wasn't the most confident Pokemon and Xander didn't blame it. From what he had gathered, the Fire type was abandoned at a young age and left to roam the streets. He first met Cyndaquil when he stopped a gang on young hoodlums kicking it around in an alley. It took a while for the Cyndaquil to warm up to him, but eventually it started to trust him. It was far from an experienced battler, but he'd since its raw potential once it warmed up and he was confident it could succeed in this fight. That was until he spotted the pair of eyes cutting through the fog. His gut knew exactly what it was, if he was already fighting a Luxio, those eyes had to be a Luxray. He knew of the Pokemon's X-Ray like vision, it was sure to mess with Cyndaquil's battle style. He reached for another Pokeball, someone he knew would give Cyndaquil the support he needed. Another ball flew forward, this time releasing a Grotle onto the Butte. "Welcome to the fight Grotle, I need you to look after Cyndaquil." The Grotle nodded as he stomped over to the Fire type's side. His tough shell would help shield him from brutal claws of the Luxio. "Grotle, Curse then fire a Seed Bomb barrage into the fog, let's force our secretive friend into the open. Cyndaquil, jump to Chimchar's aid, attack the Luxio with a Double Kick, then regain your distance, aim for the Luxio's eyes with an Ember if it gets too close. Chimchar was still struggling beneath the Luxio, he couldn't believe he'd let this girl overpower him. He continued to beat his fists into the rock, his frustration growing as his trainer released two Pokemon to come to his aid. He was the one who had saved Cyndaquil when they first met, he torched those bullies until their charred clothes were falling from their bodies as they ran away with their tails between their legs. Now the Cyndaquil was being sent to help him?! He wasn't having any of that. He'd try to Assist in any way he could, he was never going to be a helpless bystander. |

King Ghidorah- With the Swinub quickly taking advantage, you realise you're going to have to think things through if you're going to win this fight. It was abusing its swift movement through the snow, so the natural solution would be to lure it in close. You order your Salandit to use Sweet Scent, a devilish tactic indeed. The Female Salandit grins as it releases a perfume like aroma, which takes no time at all to draw in the Swinub, its keen sense of smell now a burden rather than a boon. It inhales the rich aroma, feeling calm and drawn to the Salandit. It rushes towards the reptilian Pokemon, charging through the snow with a Tackle. The Fire type holds its ground, gathering Fairy energy as it prepares to unleash its surprise attack. At the last possible moment, it lets out a burst of bright light, temporarily blinding the Swinub and sending it off course. It crashes into a nearby tree by mistake, hurting itself in the process. Shaking itself off, it turns to face Salandit once more, its vision slowly returning.
The Swinub takes aim, then starts to fire a barrage of Icicle Spears! Some of the sharp icicles slam into Salandit. Although she resists it, the hit still stings. A metallic sheen develops over her tail, which she begins to use to bat away the icicles. As she gets closer, the Swinub's assault finally comes to a stop, allowing her to leap into the air. She swings her tail around with brutal strength, landing a devastating blow to the Swinub, who sinks into the snow. It is looking rather beat up, if you were going to catch it, this was your best opportunity.... |

TKF Stormingwolf and Kawaii's updates
Kawaii: Last update
TKF: Cyndaquil jumped into action kicking Keiara twice in the face pushing her off for a moment but not enough to remove her off of Chimchar completely, although she was teetering as if she was loosing her balance. How DARE that little mouse like pokemon do that to her, Keiara thought, shaking herself off and standing back up. As soon as she regained her balance your Cyndaquil shot some Embers into her eye's making her Roar in annoyance rather than pain. Chimchar did Not want to be left out of the fight nor be stuck under the luxio, and he also wanted to assist however he could, fortunately, that was one of his available moves, This move, in particular, was completely random and allowed the user to take one of the moves from another pokemon in a trainers party and enables them to use it, even if it's not one of their natural moves. The move was never clear what it will be and who it will draw from until it is used. Chimchar closed his mouth and seemed to act like he was holding his breath, then he spat Mud at the Luxio holding him down because Keiara wasn't paying attention to the chimp pokemon, it hit her like a Shot and pushed her off of him and covered her in the mud forcibly removing her from Chimchar Meanwhile, you had your Grottle prepared itself by performing Curse, a move that if it is used by non-ghost type pokemon, it raised their attack and defensive capabilities, but lowered their speed then fire off some Seed Bombs into the fog that was perhaps a leftover effect from a previous battle. However, the bomb like seed's did their job, and that was to blow away the fog surrounding the second opponent Simba the Luxray sat and waited patiently, his daughter Keiara knew nothing about the bond and power a trainer and pokemon shared, and how strong it made them, Stronger than wild pokemon. He remembered his trainer. How he and Simba had a strong bond. Or so Simba thought because after his daughter hatched, his trainer abandoned him here in the Savanna. Leaving Simba to raise his daughter alone until he found a pack. When his pack learned of him being a trainer's pet, they kicked him and Keiara out of the pack, unless they could prove that they didn't care about their trainer anymore. Simba didn't like the older Luxray head of the pack, but He did agree with what the luxray had proposed. Now, all he had to do was defeat the Guardian of the Savannah. Meanwhile, Keiara regained her composure and went after the Chimchar and Cyndaquil with a Thunder fang, the electrical teeth crackling with energy and power. What will you have your pokemon do next? Stormingwolf: The Froslass grew weaker and weaker, and significantly more tired as she tried to attack all the people and their pokemon involved, And you grabbed a Pokeball from within your pack that miraculously survived the freezing you had survived. Not only you had the idea to pull out a Pokeball, as all four of the trainers helping you withdrew a ball as well, and threw it at the Froslass. You held onto your Pokeball, gripping it tightly, as something felt off. And you were right. A Pokeball shot through faster than the others, wait, was it attached to an arrowhead? This Arrow Pokeball hit the Froslass in the back and it opened up and trapped it with inside it. You and the other trainers watched, Stunned as to why and who did this. The Pokeball rocked, back and forth, back and forth for at least three times before it clicked shut, the little stars showing that the froslass was indeed caught. The man who shot the pokeball then came out from some tree's that blocked your sight of him before, It was that Sirusan that you freed first. Kaleth's son. "Well, what do we have here. Looks like the alien was able to free the other weaklings after all. Even got that Froslass cornered for me to take it down. " He walked over to you, " I would say thank you, but it was an alien's fault that Froslass got there in the first place. So I won't thank you." The man had brought a few other people with him, all dressed in hunting gear and carrying extra supplies, perhaps they were going to free the other iced people... which you had already done. What where are you going to do and say? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rolu's health: Full One energy root left over Faints: One

"Is it a commonly used method in this area?" Storm put his readied pokéball back in his bag. "Rolu, you did very well." "I'm sorry for disappearing on you like that." "I shall prepare myself better next time." Rolu just nodded and remained close to Storm. It was visible that he didn't like Kaleth's grandson that much. Storm looked around and noticed that the Mamoswine was absent. "Where's the Mamoswine?" "Ah, he probably went inside to check on the Swinub there." "Speaking of inside, everyone is already thawed out." "They're all waiting there close to a fire." "Your grandmother is there too." "Those supplies could really help them out." "You are here to help, right?" Storm held his torch in front of him and started heading back to the group. Rolu jumped on his shoulder and held on tightly, he wasn't planning to lose Storm again. The group followed them. |

The Luxio was going after Chimchar and Cyndaquil now, trying desperately to land hits with a Thunder Fang. He couldn't risk the paralysis, at least not this early in the fight. "Chimchar, backflip and land on Grotle's back!" The position would give it a height advantage, "then strike Cyndaquil with an Ember!" His Pokemon didn't hesitate, they knew this manoeuvre, they'd practised it before. "Cyndaquil keep the Luxio's attention as you use your Quick Attack to keep out of its grasp, then once Chimchar's Ember activates your Flash Fire, hit both Luxio and Luxray with a powerful Heatwave! Grotle keep boosting with Curse, then strike the Luxio and Luxray with Razor Leaf after Cyndaquil's Heat Wave." If his plan worked, Cyndaquil's Fire attacks would be boosted and both the Luxio and Luxray would take some serious damage. While the Curses would slow Grotle down, they'd provide it with the strength and fortitude to stand up against the Luxray once it decided to join the fight. |

TKF: You fired off commands to be executed in a unique way and order, and you were gonna try to force Simba to engage in the battle. You ordered Chimchar to backflip up over onto Grottle's back and then hit Cyndaquil with an Ember attack to bolster its firepower thanks to its Flash Fire ability. Cyndaquil was told to anticipate Chimchar's Ember and wait for it, but to use Quick Attack to dodge Keiara's approaching Thunderfang, missing the little mouse by centimeters. Your little chimp fired his ember attack to Cyndaquil, who then unleashed a Heat Wave upon both pokemon, While you had your Grottle boost its attack and defenses more with Curse and to then use Razor Leaf upon the electric pokemon. Both Attacks merged into a flaming barrage of sharp leaves that flew to the Luxray and Luxio. Then Simba finally moved, and he shifted to move in front of his daughter to block her from the brunt of the blows even though she still caught a little bit of the attacks. Then he looked up over to You and your pokemon, his eye's piercing through you it seemed, intimidating you and your pokemon. He swished his tail, back and forth, like it was Dancing on its own, and it started to Rain getting you and your pokemon wet with water. This wasn't all the luxray did though for he also set an Electrical current to run through the Terrain, Making the ground crackle with electricity, and fizzle and pop with the rain. Then he started to Charge up some electricity, man this was gonna hurt if you didn't move your pokemon or find some way to weaken that attack somehow. Keiara was lending a Helping Hand or paw in this case, by placing her paw's on her fathers back. You probably had seconds to move yourself and your pokemon, or that upcoming attack, whatever it was would push you off the Butte no matter where you were. What will you do? Stormingwolf: The Sirusan man was angered by your indifference to his taunting, your blatant replies, and asking if they were here to help the people inside or not. Unknown to him the men he brought with him rocked with silent giggles and smiles upon their faces, looks like they were glad someone could put him in his place without so much as a flick of a wrist. You led the men from the new group inside, and the people who helped you after you freed them followed suit petting their pokemon and murmuring what you thought were praises in their languages. Kaleth looked up to you all as you walked back in and told everyone that the Froslass had been captured and that there were people here to help get them all warm and that they would take them home, several of the men who came translated this for you as you spoke, so everyone knew what you were saying. There were looks of relief and happiness on everyone's faces and there took on a light atmosphere in the huge room. Over in the far back, you could see the Mamoswine named Manny, who was nuzzling the little swinub who had helped you out tremendously, you and Rolu strolled over to the pair of pokemon and Rolu spoke to the pair for a moment before explaining that Manny had rescued your partner and helped him here through the cold. And that apparently this swinub was his brother, and that the swinub wanted to join you on your journey. Although while Manny wasn't too happy with being separated with his brother once again, He was comfortable with you being the one to take his brother. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Meanwhile, Kaleth invited you to come over to enjoy some food here in the castle before you leave or go off to explore and she told you that you were invited to visit her home whenever you wished and that you would always be welcome. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You have the option of either battling the Swinub then capturing it, or just capturing it. You also can explore more of the castle if you so wish Rolu has gained five levels from the battle, and you may keep the extra Energy root.

Rain Dance. Electric Terrain. Charge. Thunder! Rain Dance would make the otherwise inaccurate attack a sure hit, while the Electric Terrain and Charge would boost the power to a ridiculous level. Xander shuddered, he couldn't think of a counter, he began to choke up. His palms were sweaty, knees weak, arms were heavy. As the Luxray continued to gather electricity, his Pokemon turned back to him looking for orders, but all they saw was their trainer struck with fear. It was up to them. Chimchar barked orders, if Xander wasn't going to, he'd take it upon himself. It knew Cyndaquil had some hidden potential, he'd felt it before in training and they needed it now. "Char, Chim Chim Char!", the chimp ordered, receiving a nod from the Cyndaquil in return. The rain was hissing as it struck the Fire Mouse's excited flames, if not for its activated Flash Fire the rain would probably put them out. Fire Attacks were pointless now, as was Nature Power now that the Electric Terrain was up. His eyes began to glow as he tapped into a strange psychic energy he had only recently discovered. Psychic waves begin to pulse out from the Cyndaquil as it prepares to launch its Extrasensory, hoping to mess the the Luxray's mind enough to Flinch it out of its assault. Chimchar prepared to lend Assistance, hoping to be as lucky as he was last time. He needed something strong to help combat the Luxray's power. "Char Char Chim!" It shouted at Grotle, if worse came to worse it would be on the Grass type to shield them from the attack. Hopefully if Cyndaquil and Chimchar managed to take shelter behind the Grotle, its resistance would save them from the full extent of the hit. However, Grotle had a few ideas of his own. The Luxray may have just summoned a Rain Dance, but this area was naturally dry and sunny, it wouldn't take much for him to overpower it with a Sunny Day of his own. Hopefully if he could remove the rain, they'd have a chance. As soon as he got that chance, he'd drive an Earth Power into the Luxray to let it know he meant business. Xander watched, awe struck as his Pokemon continued to work together despite him freezing up. He needed to snap out of it, his Pokemon needed him, this was not the time to give up! The next passenger to get off was a small grey cat, he stepped off the Pidgeotto and immediately felt the bittercold ground on his small paws. "Mroaw..." He murmured, clearly in distaste. He walked towards his master, brushing against her legs until she picked him up. "I know... it's cold, Calix." Her reply was flat, tired. The flight from the outside of the Time Rift to here had been long, tiring, and certainly uneventful. She sighed, watching as the final passenger, a tall Lucario, stepped off the bird. "Palioxis... my old friend. Thank you for taking us this far." He spoke eloquently, his telepathy seeped deep into the female trainer's mind after their long journey together. Palioxis, the large Pidgeotto looked towards the young woman and bowed his head, saying something to the Lucario that she could not understand. She merely heard a hushed and rapid "Ge, otto, ge.". The Lucario nodded, turning back towards the woman. "He wishes to stay. He does not want to leave you alone, your majesty." The young woman sighed, she wished he would simply call her something else. She wasn't a princess any more, nor would she truly ever be again. "Don't think like that, milady. You're still a princess so long as blood flows through your veins." The Lucario piped up, rather suddenly. She sighed again, having a humanoid dog that could talk to you and read your thoughts was pretty annoying... but, he had helped her escape the palace... so she felt a certain kinship to him. He could have done all in his power to stop her, yet he helped her escape. She smiled and nodded at his previous comments about Palioxis. "Of course, I appreciate it Palio." She approached the bird and stroked his beak. "We'll need all the help we can get." She murmured, returning the bird to a Pokeball and turning to the Lucario. "Alastor... where are we?" He turned his nose up to the air, looking around. "I'm... not sure. Far from home." He sniffed the air, "Quite far... spatially and temporally..." She didn't fully understand, but Alastor had mentioned feeling strange after they made the leap through that rift. She glanced around, they were in a large forest. She had never really seen such a tremendous amount of foliage, as she walked forward she suddenly heard a sharp cry. "Milady! Be careful!" Alastor called out, rushing towards her. Before she could react to his cries, she found herself tumbling into a rather expansive and deep abyss. "Mwroar!" Calix called out, being flung from the young woman's hands as she fell into the hole. Alastor rushed to the hole, diving down and using a blast of psychic to catch himself, his trainer, and Calix before they hit the ground. The trainer had closed her eyes tight, bracing for impact. Alastor released them all from his grasp, himself first. He approached where the female trainer would land and caught her in his paws. Expecting to feel the sharp impact of rock before the blissful nothing she jerked suddenly, eyes popping open. "Are you alright, Princess Vallis?" Alastor asked, placing the woman back on her feet. Calix crawled over from another part of the cave they had fallen into, fur bristled in fear. "I'm fine... but, what are we in?" She asked, looking around the expansive crevice they had fallen into.
