When I first read this, I thought you meant the rival Silver from the games when he showed up in the Raikou special. o.O;

OPs: I've got three languages to choose from. x.x English, Finnish and Japanese. "I Wanna Be A Hero" is a favorite, along with "Unbeatable" and the theme for Galactic Battles (Season 12). There are so many songs in the Japanese version that I haven't even seen them all, but I like the ones for Best Wishes and Best Wishes 2. Finnish...well, I remember some by heart and most I haven't heard. This one comes to mind first, then the theme for Johto Journeys.

Updates! Tau, blazeVA and Celebii151, go get yours. There's also some ground rules that everyone should have a look at - I'll post it again with the next batch, but it won't hurt to have a look now.

EDs: I fell for the Best Wishes "rap" and "Mite-mite kochi-chi" is in its full glory on my mp3-player. Polka-o-dolka was mentioned already. That's about it.

Maybe I'm alone with this, but here goes:

Could people stop offering Pokémon they're not even battling in their adventures?

I personally sometimes feel like making sure there's no chance in hell a member will catch a certain Pokémon in their adventure if they're making trade offers and such after a mere sight of it. Who's to say the Pokémon isn't already owned? Or it's not meant to be caught?

Just hope people would think about that a bit more.

No, you're absolutely right on this. I might not have gotten Delilah had I talked enough about trading her away, and I would've totally slapped myself silly because of it. If somebody is talking about trading away a potential zone capture before they've gotten it (and, before anyone asks, I will NOT trade away the Frillish and Larvesta in my adventures), we ZAs may just change our minds about letting you catch them. Also, keep in mind that Cascadia has a very hungry Gyarados population just like the Water Zone does... >=D

As a ZA, my opinion is that people will get what they get. My storylines, as flexible as they are, do have planned endpoints (generally speaking). If I intend for them to get a certain Pokemon, they will. If I don't, they won't. No amount of talk in the TO is really going to change that (unless it's really severely annoying or insulting to me in some way).

As an updatee, though, I try to avoid assumptions as much as I can. Besides, the last thing I want is to make an updater feel obligated to give me such-and-such a Pokemon or such-and-such a prize because I saw it and automatically assumed I was getting it and implied that I would make a fuss if that did not happen. I want my updaters to feel free to give me whatever they see fit... It's more important to me that the adventure itself is fun and exciting. What makes me happy is meeting a group of Pokemon necromancers... or getting switched into the body of a priestess... or checking into an eerily Orwellian Hotel... or getting stuck in a cave with some good friends. In some ways, the rewards are irrelevant. I just love the writing and I love a good adventure. That's what motivates me. :3
