Greetings folks! With Tess' permission, I am now running the UPN SoaT.

Have a useless Shard, Apricorn or Shoal Item you've been wondering what to do with? Bring them to us and we can convert them into an Evolution Stone, Special Pokéball or Shell Bell. The rules are pretty simple.


::Shards::
Hand in your shard (with a link to where you received it) and you will receive a riddle. The answer is a basic Pokémon which you will be required to obtain through capture, trade or hatching (adopted Pokémon are not accepted). Return the Pokémon to me along with its level, gender and a link to where you obtained it. You get your stone and the Pokémon goes to the Adoption Centre.

::Notes::
* Once you have handed in your Pokémon, that Pokémon no longer belongs to you so it must be removed from your active party. You do not have the right to trade it to another member after it has been handed in for the completion of your quest.
* Do not collect your stone until I have given you confirmation that the Pokémon you have handed in is the correct answer to your riddle.
* Please be sure that you definitely want to complete your quest when handing in a shard because once you've submitted it for a riddle you cannot withdraw the shard to trade it away. If you no longer wish to continue with your quest, let me know and your shard will be tossed into the Shard Shop furnace and your riddle removed from the Active Quests list.

This could be Pokémon themselves or any questions regarding the games or animé. In order to successfully convert your apricorn into one of the special balls listed below, you will need to answer all 5 questions correctly. If even one is answered incorrectly, the finished ball will be taken to the Casino where it will go up as a prize in the Daily Pick Lottery.

My wits may not be the quickest, but I'm always cheerful anyway. Cold water might be my home, but at night, I'll hunt for food, while moisturising with poison!

When my breathing turns quite rough
That’s when I’ll become very tough,
My anger I can never hide
So run or you will surely die.

In the depths of the ocean where it is dark
I light up brightly with an electrical spark,
Positive and negative charges combine
So I can talk with those of my kind.

I dig through mountains in search of coal
To burn in my body which is full of holes,
The energy it generates makes me strong
So that in battle I can do no wrong.

I'm akin to Suicune's bell, with a seeping poison to protect myself - don't try to feed off me, because I'll come out on top! And besides, even if you do want a straight fight, there's strength in numbers, and there's a lot of me around here!

You won't beat me in a staring contest. After all, I can predict when you'll give up! But I always move with a cheerful skip, though I can't wait until I can fly for real...

I'm a very rare Pokémon indeed. I live outside Celadon City, but some people will never be able to find me at all, without help from a friend! My burning spirit can never be quenched - my fire is always burning inside me after all, but let's not split hairs, unlike another part of my anatomy.

Want to find me? It won't be easy - even though I'm hidden in your back yard! I'm the only Pokémon common to these areas: a small garden in a vast ocean near the town it all began, a vast swamp that's become a tourist attraction, an enemy base in the shape of a diamond and the foot of a climactic mountain, where a champion awaits.

Got to say, my defense system isn't great... When threatened, I probably become even more vulnerable to predators! But if I blind my opponent, I guess it's worth it. I can be intimidating without that though - just hear me roar!

I'm the only Pokémon common to all of these areas - a cave where your movement is at the whim of the tide, a beautiful beach in the depths of winter and an enemy base, reopen for business...

Psychic power is my speciality; it comes through being wise. Wise enough to mark the time in the blackest depths of night.

When the sun comes out to play, I'll try to get my tan. And just you wait til I get big, I'll bloom in brilliant form!

Throughout my life I'm never alone, my best friend's always beside me. We'll work together in sunshine and rain, and when I evolve, we'll have a new brother.

Blind as a bat, but that's ok, my echolocation will save the day. Sunlight burns, so I live in caves, with swarms of my family to ruin trainers' days.

I'm a little scavenger, that's why I'm so good to have by your side! I can pick up all sorts of things. Back in my glory days, I even found an Earthquake TM once... Of course, that wouldn't happen if I just wasn't so curious as to run all over the place!

I'm a very helpful little Pokémon. I help my best friend become stronger in return for some shelter. But don't underestimate my own abilities - I'm a heck of a sharpshooter, and I've got some serious hustle too!

My own signature move is my FeatherDance, but stealing yours is no problem for me. I roost among the forest trees and feast upon the bugs below.

My first is in Horsea, but not in Kingdra.
My second is in Shiftry, but not in Seedot.
My fourth and fifth is in Linoone, but not in Zigzagoon.
My last is in Squirtle, but not in Wartortle.
Your final hint is that I'm from Sinnoh... What am I?

Effect Spore vs. Regenerator, the choice is yours to bear. Personally, I dream of Regenerator, and rely on other Spores in battle. But if you try to capture me, I'll spray you with my poison!

I'm a desert dwelling Pokémon, putting down my roots in sand. But the hotter the weather, the better I bloom, and water is no issue when you can survive a month without it!

Some people hate to be alone, but me? I go positively bananas apart from my colony. I can't peel my favourite chestnuts, and with my short temper, that means bad times for anything in my path!

I'm the only Pokémon common to these areas: a villainous tower in a desert region, a zone where trainers hunt for rare Pokémon against the clock of their own footsteps in Hoenn, a strange bush in the Sevii Islands, and a forest guarded by a powerful illusion mistress.

Barrage is my signature move.

The mystery of my feet is one that will forever remain unsolved. I can't stand the sun, it literally makes my blood boil, but I love to help out people on farms, tilling the soil for plants to grow!

Don't laugh at me because I can't fly! When I'm big, I'm a real bird of prey. My armour made of bones is tough, but I won't need it soon.

I can be found in many places across the world of Pokémon! In fact, I'm the only Pokémon common to all of these places. A downhill slope that's a wild thrill ride. I'm a very timid Pokémon. In fact, I like to shield myself with lots of wall techniques in battle because of that. I love them so much, that if you level me up a little bit, I'll learn three of them all at the same time! Hey, do you smell that? I'd better be off, but before I go - what am I?
