Unfortunately, no. The Judicial branch is the most manipulated branch in government, as you can appoint judges yourself as president.
Even wonder why segregation was LEGALIZED!?? Say hello to the Judicial branch. England is looking real good right now.

............... all the more proof you would want/need that it's corrupt.
Look, kids: I don't think you realize that the Founding Fathers' measures to prevent corruption from within do not adequately prevent corruption from without. The idea was supposed to be, "If we have a moral and upstanding judicial branch, it will keep the other two in check," and so on and so forth, but what if some corrupting force (hmm, gee, I wonder ...) exists beyond the three? and corrupts all three of them from without? What then? Well, then you have the United States of America, sillies.

Yeah, but if you have buddies on the Senate.....
then no problem. And I already knew that.

That song pretty much covers every reason I never want to go to Australia and added a few more. Rude kangaroos.

I feel like this isn't completely true, any single company can't have that much power. And (hopefully) there aren't enough companies that want the same thing from the government so that they band together and do this kind of thing.

There really is not anything else you use pizza sauce for. Anyways......
Let's talk about how much Congress sucks for trying to get this bill through.

I don't think that any American who knows about this is proud to be an American. Luckily enough, there is Congress to keep this bill under wraps, right?

I know that. I meant, keep it away from the average American public eye.

One of those links in the OP was about that exactly, media blackout of this horrible bill.

Well, I'm glad we can all agree that government is corrupted from within and from without. (Speaking of which, have you all heard about the legality of Insider trading for Members of congress? Something totally illegal everywhere else.)
But, instead of just complaining about it, we can still do something about it. Come 2012, we can support alternative candidates that are not currently affiliated with government and promise to do something about the corruption, by promoting them and sending donations. And then vote for them, and others, in the elections. |

The problem is, we disagree on who is more corrupt. You want us to vote for the Tea Party, which most of us consider a sham promoted by some of the very douchebags who want to rob this country from you. Vice versa, we have nobody good to vote for and most of us will probably be voting for the Democratic ticket. This horrifies you, and frankly it's not something we're too keen of either. But I'll say this: I'd sooner re-elect Obama than vote for Bachmann, Romney, or anyone else the Republican party has fielded so far.
