Shiinotic was on the ropes, but it was far from ready to concede defeat as it prepared to drown the entire garden in poison if it had to. Clearly it had lost its way at some point down the line, whereas before it seemed content with building its own fiefdom within Tsareena’s kingdom, now it seemed hell bent on taking the entire garden down with it. It had to be stopped now at all costs, before its corruption spread any further. Jess cheered on her Pokemon, giving them the encouragement they needed for the final push. Lance began by summoning the intense sunlight that poked down through the canopy of trees and into the clearing. As Shiinotic staggered to its feet, ready to unleash hell, Iris blasted it with an instantly charged Solar Beam, keeping it at bay. Tsareena promptly Bounced high up into the air as Lance and Iris put everything they had into their finishing moves. Steenee began to cheer on Lance and lend him a Helping Hand while Cherrim did the same to Iris. The sunflower Pokemon’s petals opened up to embrace the bright sunlight, and all of the allied Pokemon felt the benefits of the Flower’s Gift. Ready to finish off the Shiinotic for good, Lance unleased a cyclone of leaves that slammed the shadow Shiinotic back into the tree behind it. Iris followed the attack up with a furious frenzy of thorny vines that battered Shiinotic. Tsareena completed the trio of teamwork with a flying kick as she plummeted back towards the earth. There was no debate to the result of the attacks; Shiinotic was down for the count. Everyone collectively let out a sigh of relief as Iris and Lance each seemed to have grown by 5 levels. Comfey seemed to have a bit more energy now as the effects of the Grassy Terrain restored energy to it. The majority of the Morelull were back upright as well, though they seemed completely docile now. Tsareena approached Jess and company and simply offered a grateful and elegant curtsy before motioning to the Steenee who promptly ran off. She then turned to Comfey and Flabébé, apologetic that they were caught up in this mess and plucked a pink Magost Berry flower from a tree and presented it to the flowerless fairy. Flabébé stared at it quietly for a moment before floating over and clutching it by the stem tightly with tears in her eyes as she was moved by the gift. Tsareena then turned to face the army of mushrooms and took a more commanding tone, assembling the Morelull who all instantly gathered around with complete obedience. The Morelull swarmed the fallen Shiinotic and lifted it on their heads together, following Tsareena back into the orchard where it would surely face its sentence. Steenee quickly returned into the clearing, holding a collection of items in its arms. It carefully placed them down in front of Jess and bowed one more time before scurrying off to rejoin its clan. Upon closer inspection, Jess could determine that amongst the parting rewards there were: One Big Root, one Absorb Bulb, five Persim Berries, one TR for Pollen Puff, one TM for Giga Drain, and one TM for Grassy Terrain. With nearly all loose threads tied up, only one remained: Comfey and Flabébé looked eager to get back to their section of the Rose Garden, to let their friends know that Flabébé was alright and complete their performance for the festival. They seemed intent on rewarding them for all of their help, so Jess and crew figured they might as well see this through till the very end. It was a bit of a walk back out of the orchard section of the Rose Garden and into the vibrant ocean of flowers, but it felt good to be back under the warm cascade of sunlight and gentle breeze. The cluster of Flabébé had been waiting patiently and nervously, but they all instantly brightened up as they spotted Comfey and their missing friend. “Bébé!” they all simultaneously cried out as they huddled together for a long embrace. Once their group hug was complete, they had little time to spare before their big performance. They did a quick rehearsal before people and Pokemon began to gather around them in anticipation of their song. When Jess first met the group, they were a disjointed mess, but their completed choir was much more harmonious. It was a short melody, but gentle and serene nonetheless. As they sang their song, Comfey joined in with a small bell that added a chime that seemed to wash away all of Jess, Iris, and Lance’s exhaustion. It had been a very long day for them, but the power of the fairies’ song seemed to relieve all of their stress and fatigue. Once the song was over, the audience offered a resounding applause and gradually dispersed. With just Jess and her Pokemon remaining, the Flabébé and Comfey gathered around them. Words couldn’t describe how grateful they were for Jess delivering their friend home safely, and as one final gift, Comfey handed her the Soothe Bell that it used during the performance. As the sun slowly began to set over the peak of Mt. Zephyria in the distance, the help Comfey and friends received today would be something they would never forget. This marks the end of your Cloud Garden adventure, thank you for allowing me to complete this adventure after three years!

Meetan- Your mind started to spin as the events around you unfolded. THe small msitakes kept pilling up, and the cries of the wounded were starting to get to you. You were getting light-headed, and you had no idea how to push forwards. You needed to get yourself together, but you jsut couldn't. Things started to get hazy for your, and your vision was starting to get clouded. You knew what was happening, and it needed to be taken care of fast. But, ou felt you had to push it aside. Taking down the Pokemon assaulting the hive were more important. You give your team their orders as best as you could. Understanding the urgency of the situation, they all pile on the grounded Beedrill. Nina once again exhales her Frost Breath, with Duchess mimicing it this time. One the move was learned with Mimic, Duchess lets out her own icy, frost breath. It was obvious the Furfrou wasn't use to it, as she whimpered a little as the ice left her mouth. But, you couldn't worry about that right now. There were more pressing matters. Bentley then starts to channel a weather ball. There wasn't any particular weather going on at the moment, so the move was of normal power and potency. But, that's what he needed to do, and drawing in the clear sky he lets out that Weather Ball onto the Beedrill. Lastly was Machi, who was more aware of the gravity of this situation. Charging her fists with icy energy she goes in to give the Beedrill a gold old one-two. With all of the attacks connecting, the Mega Beedrill didn't have time to react. The energies of mega evolution left the Beedrill, and the knight layed on the ground KO'd. With its body battered and bruised, there was no sign of it recovering quickly enough for it to be an issue. Each of your Pokemon have gained two levels for defeating the Mega Beedrill! All that was left at this moment was the Vespiquen, who seemed rightfully furious. She lets out a loud screech, seeming to call on the rest of her hive. You could tell, through your hazy mind, that if she did that it would all be over. She then called on her bee-like body creatures once more, and have them swarm around her. A Defend Order, most likely. She neded to be taken out quickly, or this was going to be over. Meanwhile, you've noticed that Isaac was nowhere to be seen at this point. Did he run off once the fighting began? It was certainly weird... But, it wasn't a major concern right now. Time was fading away, and this needed to be taken care of fast. If not for the hive, for you. How to you proceed? Combee Wall Health: 45%

The mystery was finally beginning to all come together for Revel as she identified the mastermind behind the berry heist. The gluttonous Simisage had been bullying the weaker inhabitants of the orchard into stealing berries for it to eat, and once it had been discovered by Ringo, it tried to make sure she kept quiet about it. Applin was determined to save its friends from this villain, and even though it wasn’t able to find the power-up it was seeking, it was banking on the strength of Revel and Chachi to assist it in battle. Not one to stand down from a fight, Chachi stood uneasily on a tree branch in the name of justice. It was a strange sight to see a flightless bird up in a tree, but the plucky penguin was going to do his best to fend off the arboreal simian. Chachi gave Applin a reassuring nod before blowing forth a chilling wind in the Simisage’s direction. It scowled, clearly annoyed that its comfortable perch was disrupted. It broke off a stick from a nearby branch and Flung it in Chachi’s direction, hitting the poor penguin in the head as his unstable footing make it difficult to dodge. Applin took the opportunity to divert the Simisage’s attention with an Astonishing sneak attack, which allowed Chachi to bounce from branch to branch to slam into Simisage with aerodynamic precision. Simisage grunted in disgust and munched on a nearby Magost Berry and swatted away the Piplup with its Natural Gifts. Revel had hoped to knock the monkey from the tree, where they could be on an even battlefield, but the Simisage’s tail was securely wrapped around a branch for balance. As Chachi summoned a ring of water bubbles to keep himself hydrated and replenished, Revel noticed something dangling loosely in the canopy above as the tree shook; from the look of things, the tree they were in grew Durin Berries. Maybe their hard, spiky exterior could be used for something.

A thing that doesn't change with time is a memory of younger days...
Quote:
Next, Tsareena faced the mob of now cowed Morelull, who meekly bowed in submission as she barked an authoritative order to take the prisoner away. Jess watched the herd flock around their ex-leader and heave its comatose body onto their caps, marching after the real reestablished ruler as she led the way back to the orchard. The girl gulped, wondering if heads were about to roll - but decided it best not to question the queen's court of justice. Whatever internal proceedings the garden may have to prosecute traitorous toadstools, she had no desire to interfere with any sort of punishment deemed fit for the demonic fungi at this point. At that moment, Steenee returned with its arms inflated by a plethora of presents, spreading the offerings before Jess with another contrite curtsy before hurrying to catch up with its cohorts. Jess blinked in humble surprise at such (in her opinion) excess benevolence, but nonetheless sorted through the items (mostly consisting of natural herbs and remedies, though curiously there were some man-made instructionals as well) as she stowed each one carefully away into her bag. With that taken care of, there left only one thing to do: Jess and her Pokémon happily walked Comfey and Flabébé back to where their companions were anxiously awaiting them (Iris and Lance vigilantly keeping watch to ensure no other mishaps occurred along the way). As the band joyfully reunited in a big bouquet hug, Jess and co. too rejoined with Lilac and Hoshiko, the latter marveling over Lance's new look whilst Iri and Lila shared their own loving embrace, delighted to see each other safe after having been separated for so long. There wasn't much time before the festival was about to begin, so Jess had to bid the flower chorus farewell for the time being as she and her 'mons rushed to take their places to participate, while the colorful choir vanished backstage to rehearse once more now that the gang was all gathered. ...As evening fell and the girl came back as promised for the closing ceremonies, Comfey ushered the trainer and her team to front row seats it had reserved specially for them, as a large crowd was already beginning to quickly assemble. Jess waited patiently (if somewhat nervously, for a number of reasons - most of which had to do with her own personal matters), but when it came showtime, all her apprehensions melted as she was blown away by the magnificent musical number, sounding much more melodious and in sync compared to before. Clearly their practice had paid off (not to mention having all rainbow members present helped as well). It was a short, simple tune - sweet and serene, yet strangely felt familiar as well as she couldn't help but hum cheerfully along with the harmony, casting a suspicious glance at Hoshiko as she speculated whether the cheeky Chikorita had some last minute influence on the song choice. Hoshi merely swayed her leaf innocently like a lighter in time to the chimes punctuating the beat (produced by Comfey courtesy of a small silver bell), as Jess shrugged and decided to just enjoy the music, letting its soothing effect wash over her while Iris and Lilac waltzed together slowly, unwinding from the day's exhausting events. Lance too closed his eyes peacefully and listened to the gorgeous piece, soaking in the ballad's beauty like liquid sunlight. A refreshing refrain that lifted their spirits and removed all sense of fatigue and stress, as if bathing in an enchanted fountain of youth. At the end of the performance, Jess joined the congregation in clapping copiously to express admiration; lingering behind long after the applause died down as others started to pack up and leave, in order to congratulate Comfey and Flabébé on such a wonderful show. Comfey smiled and handed the girl one last parting souvenir: the silver instrument itself. Jess beamed in immense appreciation as she lifted the shining orb to catch the sun's setting rays over the mountain's horizon, dangling from her fingertips as she jingled gently, letting it ring out clear and true. Despite the coolness of the metal, it felt warm against her skin, and for some reason seemed foretelling of fortune to come... Pocketing the prize, she shuddered as an unusually frigid breeze gusted through the garden, but figured it was just the night chill setting in. Eager to get back to their cozy Base to relax and recuperate, Jess and her Pokémon paid a final pleasant adieu to their new acquaintances before contentedly heading off to the gate, glad to have been able to aid someone in need, and made many lovely memories that - at least, far outweighed the frustrations gained - leaving Jess smiling and satisfied as they journeyed home. OoC - Picking up: 1x Big Root 1x Absorb Bulb 5x Persim Berries 1x TR POLLEN PUFF 1x TM GIGA DRAIN 1x TM GRASSY TERRAIN 1x Soothe Bell +5 Levels (raising Lv. 31 Sewaddle to Lv. 36 & Lv. 32 Roselia to Lv. 37) Teaching TR POLLEN PUFF to Sewaddle with 50 Bond. Giving Soothe Bell to Alolan Vulpix to hold. Thanks so much for helping me finish my (first?) Adventure, Furi! <3 I had a lot of fun, and while I'm sad to see the CG go, it definitely had a great run with all the work you put into it~ ^^

Revel anxiously watches the battle before her, simultaneously impressed by the teamwork between Chachi and Applin. Barely even an hour ago, they were almost at each other’s throats trying to regain ownership of the Leppa berries. Even so, the earlier plan to bring the Simisage to the ground and battle it didn’t quite work, as it was sure to keep protected up in the trees. The two Pokemon aren’t giving up attacking the enemy, but the instability of the branches might not hold them there for long.

While the current setting of the battlefield was highly disadvantageous for the flightless bird, Revel spotted something that they might be able to use in their favor to help separate the primate from its comfortable perch. High up in the tree’s canopy grew a cluster of Durin Berries, known for their hard spiky exterior that would surely leave a mark if it landed on its target. Eager to give this plan a shot, Revel shared her strategy with Chachi. Applin supplied the Piplup with more cover, distracting the Simisage with another Astonishing strike, but the Simisage was hardly going to be fooled twice. Simisage swatted the worm away by Paying Back the damage twofold as Applin painfully knocked into the tree trunk next to Ringo. Simisage turned its ire towards Chachi, Whipping some Vines in the Piplup’s direction, but the penguin shot up through the branches with aerial agility to dodge the attack. Chachi collided beak first with a branch containing Durin Berries and collected one in his small flipper-like wings. Chachi attempted to throw the berry at the Simisage, but with no real muscle contained within the stubby wings and no hands to firmly grip the object, it wobbled unsteadily through the air in the grass monkey’s direction. Simisage easily caught the Durin Berry and promptly Flung it right back at Chachi for a taste of his own medicine. While catching the Simisage off guard was probably the best course of action, there might have to be a more successful way to accomplish it. As Chachi restored a small portion of energy from his Aqua Ring, Revel looked around at her surroundings once more. Another branch filled with Durin Berries hung directly over Simisage’s head while Applin groggily attempted to maintain its bearings next to Ringo who continued to squirm against her restraints. If her brother Isaac ever caught wind of her predicament, she would never hear the end of it. Hopefully Simisage could be dealt with before it became aware of whatever Revel would plan next.

Chachi’s attempt to throw the Durin berries he caught didn’t work as planned. The Simisage was able to instead use the berries to its advantage, Flinging it towards the Piplup. As he heals himself, he shakes his fin in frustration, miffed at his weak throw. That was not the best course of action. Revel notices this as well, shaking her head, but continues to look for more ammo.

Nina grew from level 23 to 25! Machi levelled from 55 to 57! Bentley jumped from level 9 to 11 and Dutchess from 26 to 28! Sweet! Dutchess barked, stomping her little paws indignantly in the grass, confidence and resolution boosted by her growth and the enemy's defeat. Morale seemed much higher from one turn to the other, and Nina gave her trainer a serious glance, prompting for Alice to instruct them once more. "The same again! Nina and Dutchess, you know what to do - Frost Breath and Mimic! Machi, your Ice Punches!" The Muscle Band was no doubt helping with that, and her fists were already chilled from the previous strikes going in, "Bentley, you use your Frost Breath as well!" The trainer commanded. With three out of four already knowing the drill, Nina took the lead, only this time they were aiming for the big boss herself. Meanwhile, Alice glanced around once again for Isaac. No sign of him. That was fine, this was fine. She shoved her hand into her bag, rifling uselessly around for a pack of glucose she probably couldn't open at this point anyway. This was allllll fiiiiiineeeeee.

Meetan- With the Mega Beedrill downed, you do the best you can to take down the Vespiquen. Giving your team orders once more, the instinctively understand what needs to be done. Nina takes the lead this time, knowing full on well how to give out an icy assault. Even though your hypoglycemia, you can't help but feel proud of her. Nina starts the group off by doing what she's been doing all this fight. Once again growing icy crystals within her mouth, she lets out her frosty breath that washes over the Vespiquen. The guaranteed critical hit bypasses the bee armor that the Queen has, causing the special defense boost to mean nothing. DUchess and Bentley following up, both of them getting a hang of using Nina's technique at this point. With this triple icy assault, the Vespiquen starts to fall towards the ground, her defenses immediately pierced. And waiting for her was Machi, fists frozen over with ice. With the first punch, she gives the bee a nice uppercut. This causes the Vespiquen to start flying back up. You couldn't tell if Machi had gotten faster, or if it was just the sugar, but the next thing you could see was Machi above the Vesipquen. With her last icy fist, she punches downwards. Using the gravity as momentum, she uses the force of her body to punch the Vespiquen into the ground. But, this is the last thing you see before passing out from lack of sugar. You feel something sweet and sticky enter your mouth and feel yourself awaken. Coming back to your senses, the world starts becoming clearer and clearer. You see Isaac next to you, a worried look in his eyes. Next to him are buckets of honey. Looking around, the battlefield looked much worse than when you were last conscious. The Vespiquen was flying high and mighty as the rest of your team looked battered and bruised. What could have changed the tide of battle? Looking around, you could see more beedrill laying on the ground, knocked out. Did she call for reinforcements? The wall showed evidence of it as well. The Combee were barely holding on. If they were attacked again, it would almost certainly be the end of the hive. But, you had a feeling that this would be the last push you needed. Even though her demeanor, you could tell the Vespiquen was a lot more desperate than before. Just one last push is what you need. What do you do?

Even though her plan didn’t execute the way she drew it up in her head, Revel didn’t allow herself to get discouraged as there was still a lot at stake in the orchard. Chachi had taken some hits, but he was putting up a brave face while staring up at his foe. Revel quickly adjusted her tactics and called them out to her Pokemon, the two of them getting on the same page as they prepared for another round of battle. With Chachi now prepared for what needed to be done, Revel turned her attention to Ringo and the injured Applin as she unsteadily wobbled across the tree branch towards the trunk. She pulled a Potion out of her bag and sprayed it on the Applin, causing some of the bruises on his skin to immediately subside. Applin looked up at her with a look of gratitude in its eyes. Revel then turned her attention toward Ringo, tugging at the vines holding her in place and managing to free her mouth. “Bleh!” the girl gagged as she spit out a leaf. “Thanks for that… Looks like we’ve found the true culprit behind the berry thieves, we’ve got to stop it at all costs!” Ringo was right on the money as Revel continued to loosen the vines, while Chachi leapt into action. The Piplup blew forth another chilling icy breath right in the Simisage’s direction. He then made another attempt to dart up to the branches above, but Simisage was picking up on the repetition of Chachi’s moves. However, the grassy monkey was still feeling the chilling effects of Chachi’s prior attack, causing its reaction time to be a bit slower. Chachi capitalized on the situation and zoomed up into the higher up branches with aerial precision, striking another cluster of Durin Berries with his beak. The hard fruits snapped off of the branch and plummeted through the air onto the Simisage’s head with a loud thunk. Simisage let out a surprised shriek and to Revel’s relief lost grip of its branch. It promptly fell out of the tree and crumpled on the ground below. Finally, the advantage Revel had been seeking was now hers and Chachi’s to take, but not for long. Simisage glared up at them, really angry now and prepared to jump back up into the tree despite its gluttonous belly hindering some of its agility. However, before it could do so, the Simisage was hit in the head once more by none other than Applin, who Rolled out of the tree and onto its opponent. Appreciative of Revel for healing it, Applin was ready to help Chachi take a final stand against the bully.

It felt like no time at all when Alice came around, except now it felt like someone had taken several crabhammers to the inside of her skull. She felt sweaty and shaky still, sick and exhausted, but it didn't take too long (relatively, anyhow) to figure out what had happened. Isaac had come to her rescue. She could taste the fresh honey in her mouth. Alice slurred words of gratitude to the boy as she wearily tried to sit up on her hands, taking in the scene before her. Oh, yeah, this was happening - and now they were losing, apparently. Bollocks. "Ahh-- fuck---" Her Pokemon were battered and bruised and breathing heavily, there was no time to waste or fumble, but if Alice was a battery she was teetering at a few percent of juice at best. "Your ice moves-- do the same as before! The Vespiquen-- take out the Vespiquen!" Her words conveyed her urgency and frustration, though the latter was aimed at herself and not them. Dutchess looked puzzled and afraid. It was likely her performance had suffered because Alice hadn't been there to order for her, even if her previous owner had always made her work solo. Nina barked at the Furfrou, trying to explain what the trainer meant before she once again took the lead with her Frost Breaths. With Bentley following up with his mimicked version, Dutchess knew to follow suit, the Machoke storming forth with her Ice Punches once it was safe to do so. "Thank you, Isaac..." Alice added finally, glancing at the boy, "You literally saved my life-- how did you get the honey? Was it from the other trees in the orchard?" She couldn't imagine him getting close to the disputed tree without injury, and getting stock from the farm probably wouldn't involve unloading it into buckets. But hey, at least her logic processors were going brr again. How about that?

With a furious Simisage forcibly removed from the comfort of its perch, Chachi joined Applin with their opponent on the ground, ready to deal the decisive blow. Meanwhile, Revel continued to free Ringo from her restraints and wondered about helping all of the battered victims that were spectating from up in the tree with them. “Hmm, let’s see…” Ringo contemplated as she used a now free hand to help speed up the process. A loud squawking growl emitted from the Piplup on the ground, signaling that not a lot of time was left. Simisage spat forth a cluster of Seed Bombs in Chachi’s direction, dealing quite a bit damage as they exploded on impact. Applin continued its assault, Rolling Out into the Simisage for more damage than it dealt before, and Chachi used the momentary distraction to shake off his pain and blow another Icy Wind in the Simisage’s direction. The Simisage screeches and dashed towards Chachi in order to Swipe at him Furiously, but the sluggish attack paired with Chachi’s aerial quickness allowed the Piplup to easily dodge and counter from the Simisage’s blind spot. Completely incensed, Simisage spun around and began to Giga Drain a considerable amount of energy from Chachi, who squeaked in anguish. It wasn’t until Applin slammed into Simisage with an even stronger Rollout that the monkey was forced to let go of its target. Now that she was completely free, Ringo thanked Revel and gained her bearings up on the tree branch as she got a better look at the battle taking place below. The Bounsweet and Cherubi joined her, presenting her with a bucket filled with Cheri Berries as an apology for the trouble. Ringo thought to herself for a moment, but while she did so, the Simisage seemed to be preparing something sinister. It began to glow a bright green as it photosynthesized to charge up massive amounts of energy. Chachi unleashed a wave of Surf into it, but in his weakened state it had little effect against the grass type. All out of options, it looked like Chachi was right in the crosshairs of a powerful Solar Beam, but before Simisage could blast the Piplup away, a rain of fire came down on the Simisage. Utilizing the spicy flavor of the Cheri Berries, Bounsweet, Cherubi, and several other of the bullied Pokemon up in the tree used their Natural Gifts to assault the Simisage with a peppery breath. Simisage shrieked in agony as it released all of its built up energy, the massive beam of solar energy shooting harmlessly up into the sky. Simisage looked like it was getting desperate now as well, unsure of how to react to all of its ‘minions’ standing up to it. “Appp…lin!” Applin cried out and slammed into it with one last Rollout, this one with devastating force that crushed the Simisage. As the Applin’s cascade of attacks finally came to an end, it stared up at Simisage with fierce determination. This time it was Simisage who seemed a bit intimidated and promptly retreated from the orchard as fast as its legs could take it. Chachi fell on his rear as the tension left his body with a sigh of relief. Chachi has grown by 3 levels! “Great work you guys!” Ringo called out as she quickly descended from the tree before offering Revel a hand for support. “You guys shouldn’t have resorted to stealing berries,” she said as she turned toward the Applin and other Pokemon, “But I’m thankful you were able to help me remove this threat from our orchard! Maybe for next time I should train some of you guys up to help defend the farm. And I can’t thank you two enough,” she said to Revel and Chachi, “for helping me uncover this mystery. Y’all really saved me from a bind…” Ringo then trailed off as she came to realize that the berries were almost all gone. “Guess I’m not quite out of the woods yet,” she chuckled, but all of the grass Pokemon began to squeak excitedly. One by one they each plucked berries from the trees, and helped by dropping them into the empty buckets. Ringo was moved by their efforts to help undo the damage they had been forced to deal; the Pokemon taking responsibility and looking to improve themselves. There was one Pokemon who was not focused on Ringo, however. Applin stood at Revel’s feet and stared up at her. It might not have been able to get strong enough to fend off Simisage on its own, but it sensed that if it were to follow Revel and Chachi, it might be able to reach its goal. If Revel wishes to add to her party, a level 5 male Applin with the Egg Move Rollout is free to capture! After a short while, the small group of grass Pokemon had reassembled the stack of buckets filled with berries from the harvest. “Here, take this as a token of my appreciation,” Ringo said while pulling a disc out of her pocket. It was a TM for the move Natural Gift. “It’s been a crazy and long day, but I hope y’all enjoyed your visit here! I’ve gotta go back and start helping with supper, but hopefully y’all can come help out with the next harvest!” The sun was indeed starting to set, so Revel and Chachi would probably need to get going soon, with bigger and better adventures in store for them in Fizzytopia. This marks the end of your Cloud Garden adventure, I hope you enjoyed it!

Seeing Isaac before you confused you, but there was no time to truly think about it. He had saved your life. It was a miracle in a way, that your life was spared. While you still needed more, you were alive. You weren't fated to die here, in a field of flowers surrounded by a horde of angry bees. THat would've been a quite unfortunate way to die. Of course, you'd probably end up waking up at the Phantom Isles in some way, shape, or form. But, you knew what needed to be done. The Queen Bee needed to be defeated, and this was the last push. With your team understanding their orders once more. The Frost Breath trio begin their triple tactical assault on the Vespiquen. Creating a traingle around her, they give a critical combination attack with Frost Breaths. There was no place to hide for the Vespiquen now, and she was engulfed in the frozen hell of the Triple Frost Breath. And this was Machi's oppurtunity. She seems to fly in and slams her fist into the Vespiquen. She then gives the Pokemon a haymaker straight to the face. The queen gets sent flying away, obvious knocked out. The bee like creatures surround her once more, and heal her up. But, instead of her trying to furhter her assault, she flies away. With the threat to the hive defeated, the remaining Combee start to disperse. At this point you could see another Vespiquen. This one had two Beedrills at her side, and she was obviously smaller than the one your team had just faught. She flew over to you and Isaac, and gave both of you a gift. It was a yellow gem, seeming to be crystalized honey. It had energy similar to a bug type. You have obtained 1 Bug Gem! Your team has also gained an addional two levels from protecting the hive and driving off the Vespiquen! With that done, she gives you both a bow and flies off. Isaac then looks to you. You could tell now, with the heat of the moment gone, that he was covered in scratches and bruises. Did he seriously break through the wall and obtain the honey even at the risk of the Combee attacking him? It was a little confusing, considering how he was running away from four of them earlier. "I-I don't know. I felt this surge of adrenaline and thought it was a good time to fill the buckets. With all of the chaos going on, notice would notice me. At least that's waht I thought. But, something inside of me clicked. It made me want to continue forwards. Seeing ya passed out, I just figured I could give you some. Honey is kind of a remedy we use around here," he stated. You could tell the look on his face that some of his self doubts were starting to return. Seems it now a good time to take care of what he said earlier. Waht do you do?

No amount of healing was saving that Vespiquen and to Alice's relief, off they flew. Her head turned next to see the hive's own monarch buzzing forth, flanked by her guardian Beedrill. She was smaller than the enemy combatant had been, but Alice didn't make any move to stand or comment on that fact, timidly thanking the Vespiquen for her gemstone gift. It twinkled in the light that graced the meadow, and Alice bowed in return to the ruler in thanks. By now her Pokemon had returned to her, Dutchess sniffing over her worriedly and licking at her face and arms. "Dutchess-- I'm fine, really!" She laughed, but the sound rang a little hollow, and the trainer was grateful for Machi's assistance to stand. She still felt wobbly and on top of that, completely fatigued. Honestly, Isaac was lucky that he hadn't been shredded to pieces. Alice could tell that much. She listened to him speak, one arm hanging on to the Machoke, Bentley scaling the fighting type to rest upon her broad shoulders like some shiny, scented accessory to be worn. "Yeah, tell me about it. Lucky for us, I needed glucose, and honey is packed with sugar, so thank you for that." Alice said firstly, if only to address how it was that Isaac's hunch had pulled through for them both. "As for the clicking-- don't underestimate it. Those're the instincts of a trainer right there. Not only did you do the job you came here to do, you literally saved my life. I would've been dead without you, my Pokemon'd have no trainer left to take care of them." Alice explained, look and voice trying to convey just how monumental his actions were. "You think you can't handle leaving the farm and seeing the world? You could take one or some of the wild Pokemon around here and I bet you'd do just fine. You're definitely brave enough when it counts, you can assess a situation and its risks, and day to day your Pokemon are with you, so you're never really on your own. Trust me. I'm still scared all the time-- bug Pokemon, fire Pokemon, ghost Pokemon? They scare the shit out of me, most of them. But I get by. I even love some of them now and have my own. If I can do it-- after all you just did? You can do it, too. "And the farm? Look, I know the burden sucks and you'll always worry, but if the life isn't for you, it's better to just be honest about it. If you give up everything you want to stay here, you'll never be happy. Your family can figure things out, someone'll want this farm, family or not. The Cloud Garden's a good location and there aren't a lot of places for humans to make sanctuary. It'll always get traffic." Alice finished. "At the end of the day, you've just got to do what you want to do. And if worst comes to worst, just blame it all on me. I can handle it." After all, she sure had handled worse.

Having climbed down from the tree, Revel continues to watch on anxiously as the battle between the Simisage versus Applin and Chachi continues. Even in its slowed down, groggy state from eating all the berries, the grass monkey still seemed... relentless, to say the least. For a moment, it seemed like all hope was lost for Revel and her allies. But it was, in that moment when they were in a bind, that it rained fire on their enemy. Wait, fire from where? Revel thought. Her query was answered by the sight of the previously injured berry Pokemon in the tree unleashing such power onto the enemy. As big as the Simisage is, it's clearly outnumbered by its minions who have now regained their strength. Revel thought it looked pretty cool. [OOC] Chachi leveled up from 5 to 8, and learned Bubble! Received TM Natural Gift! Alfie the Applin is now a member of the team! Putting him in a Poke Ball. Thanks for the adventure! This is the first time I've actually finished one in my 4 years on FB, lol. Sad to see Cloud Garden go, but it's been really fun, so I'll remember it fondly. All the best!

Insanity

Meetan- The boy looks at you, listening through your advice and figuring out how he would go about into putting it into practice. You could see from his eyes that he was starting to imagine different scenarios. Fantasies and daydreams of what he'd say and do once they got back. But they all seemed to fade away into mist as he continued to piece together a plan. You awakened something within him, and the drive he had was something that would never burn out. "Got it!" he exclaimed, looking at you with a genuine smile. You knew he had his answer figured out, and picked up the buckets of honey. The once meek, timid boy was radiating confidence. Nothing like saving a hive from a vicious Vespiquen to kick of a trainer's career. Especially if they were afraid of bug-pokemon beforehand. He then motions with his head to have you follow him back to the orchard. It was getting late now. The sky was painted in brilliant hue os reds, yellows, and violets sitting atop an orange background. The sun was setting, gently nestled next to the mountain. You hadn't realized it had gotten this late, but it didn't matter. What mattered was getting the honey back with no issues. And that, you two had somehow managed. It was twilight by the time you two got back. You could see Granny Smith sitting at her rocking chair, watching the direction you were coming from. Ringo was pacing around, looking frustrated. You hear her having a nervous fit, saying things like "I knew I should've gone with them" and other sayings of similar nature. As soon as your little group entered, Granny Smith got up and walked down the steps. "I'm glad to see you have safely returned," she stated. Her tone was calm, but you could hear hints of worry on her voice. "We, uh, well we got into a mess of a situation," Isaac stated, putting down the buckets of honey he was holding. You could see his mother rush over, both worried about the condition he was in but also ready to scold him for taking so long. Granny shushed her daughter and motioned you two inside while telling Ringo to prepare the honey. "Tell us over dinner," Granny said as he opened the door to the little cottage. The place was small and quaint. There was a little area to the left of the entrance with a few chairs and a small sofa. In front of you was a dining table with enough room for four people, and to the right of the entrance looked to be a cramped kitchen. A door towards the end of the room looked to be the restroom, you could see another door on the left wall. Was that the bedroom? Curious, you walked over and opened the door. It was a stairwell, with stairs leading both up and down. Seems that appearances could be deceiving. But, that didn't matter as you heard the front door open. You see Ringo enter with a jar full of honey and a bucket of the berries Machi had picked earlier in the day. You then could hear pots being moved in the kitchen, signifying that food was starting to be made. Isaac brushed past you as he headed down the stairs. Seemed like that's where his room was. Before you could follow him, he was back up the stairs with some clothes on his arm. He entered the bathroom behind you and closed the door. You could hear the shower start to turn out. It'd be best to give him so privacy. After a few minutes, the shower stopped and the door opened. Instead of his farm attire, Isaac was dressed in a maroon v neck and a pair of jeans. Seemed that this was more casual than it seemed. It was fine, as you could smell that food was ready. Isaac hurried to the kitchen and grabbed the plates and cutlery and set the table. His mother and grandmother then followed behind him, placing some food on the table. You could see a fresh, vibrant salad, some mashed potatoes, and a roast of some sort of meat. You take a seat and begin digging in with the rest of the family. "Thank you for helping us today ma'am." You heard Ringo say to you. You gave thanks in the best way possible, and the little dinner continued. That was, until, Isaac spoke up. "I have something I need to say," he stated. This perked the interest of his family, who paused eating to look at him. "I want to become a Pokemon Trainer," he stated. This shocked his mother, but you could see in Granny's eyes that she already knew. Considering what he had told you earlier in the day, and his general attitude to farm life, this made sense. Smalltown boy wanting to explore the big wide world. Before his mother could react, you see Granny motioning her to shush her mouth. "I figured as much," Granny stated calmly. "But mother-" "Don't you but mother me, lass. You can't baby your son forever. It's been obvious for a few years now that he much rather be anywhere but here," she responded calmly. Seemed there was no room in questioning this decision he had made. "Y-you mean it? Even you ma?" Isaac questioned, his meekness still showing. "Fine, I guess. I shouldn't be so controlling of you... Even if I only do it because I worry about you," she stated to him. "Thank you! I want to leave tomorrow morning!" he exclaimed. You could see the excitement in his face, and that confident look in his eyes. "With what Pokemon?" Ringo dryly asked. Even if she seemed against it, you could tell his mother was trying to be supportive. "Oh... Yeah..." He said dejectedly, messing with a few crumbs on his plate. "Well, there's a Pokemon you could go with," Granny suddenly piped up. The rest of her family looked at her puzzled, as the old woman went over to a small china cabinet in the room. Opening the glass doors, she grabbed a Pokeball hidden behind a plate. "Here, your father wanted you to have this," she said, giving Isaac the Pokeball. You could tell he couldn't hold the urge to toss it open, but something was stopping him. You didn't know what, but there was a sudden heavy feeling in the room. Nobody else talked during dinner. It was a little awkward, and you had the feeling that you probably should be heading off. You excuse yourself from the table but are stopped by Granny. "Deary wait, I have a little reward basket for you," she stated as she went towards the kitchen. Coming back with a picnic basket, she handed it over to you. Inside was three slices of honey-oran berry pie wrapped in plastic wrap. Next to it was a pair of Heavy-Duty Boots. There was a bag of about five oran berries, as well as 5 jars of honey. Lastly, there were TMs for the moves X-Scissor and Acrobatics. It was quite a generous gift, all things considered. "Thank you for helping my grandson. If you wish to stay the night, you can, but he'll likely be gone before you wake up," she said looking at Isaac. "If not, then we all wish you safe travels." With that, Granny Smith made her way to the table with the rest of the pie. Seemed this was the end of your little trip here, but at least you helped a young boy blossom into a new trainer. And of course, you saved a hive of Combee as well helped out on the farm. It was certainly bittersweet, as you had a feeling this would be the last time you'd be able to visit the Cloud Garden for a long time. But with every ending came a new beginning. Congratulations on finishing your Cloud Garden adventure! I wish it could've been a little longer, but we were running low on time. Thank you for letting me update you, Alice! Rewards List: x3 Honey Glazed Oran Berry Pie (Functions as a Mysterious Gummi) x5 Oran Berries x5 Jars of Honey (Worth $200 each) x1 Heavy-Duty Boots x1 TM X-Scissor x1 TM Acrobatics x1 Bug Gem

Alice offered her help where she could, but most of the cooking time was spent watching the others going about their routine. Isaac had changed into comfier clothes and they sat down to a very traditional style of dinner. Mash wasn't her thing, but she'd eat what she could stomach and make an excuse of being full or something to avoid being polite. Besides, maybe one of the others or her Pokemon would want the leftovers. It went from an inspired atmosphere to tense rather fast and Alice excused herself once she was done, her nosy brain craving context. Obviously Isaac's father had passed, but what happened to him? What was inside the Poke Ball and why hide it like that to begin with? In the end, though, with night having fallen, Alice decided to take up Granny's offer to stay overnight. Isaac was gone before she was awake, as predicted, and the young woman thanked the family for their understanding with Isaac and generosity for the picnic basket of gifts. There was plenty to make use of and keep for a rainy day! After saying her goodbyes and hitching a spot upon Machi's shoulders, Bentley tangled comfortably in her ponytail, they were off in search of their next adventure - or maybe a spot for a future home. It was all up to wherever destiny led them... -- For the records, stating the +2 level boosts on my Pokemon from the Vespiquen battle: Nina: 25 to 27, Machi: 57 to 59, Bentley: 11 to 13, Dutchess: 28 to 30! ((Ty so much for the adventure, Leo! As always you're an A+ updater! Teaching X-Scissor and Acrobatics to my Lotad, Lorin, who has 50 bond. Collecting all of the other goodies. Ty so much and farewell to the CG. I'll always love you and hope you return one day. ;o; ))
