Have never ever heard this before. Must be Canadian nonsense.

I dunno about the killing part, but you know how it goes on the Internetz: Japan can be silly because Japan.

And while on the subject, here's a ski jump tire test. And a raptor prank. Because.

Currently trending on YouTube is this cover of a Miley Cyrus song that re-imagines it as a piece out of the 1950s. For comparison, here is the original song. You decide.

When I got to the finger cutting scene, a voice in my head screamed "Dangan Ronpa!"

When I got to the "twerking" scene, I couldn't decide who the music video was most insulting to:
  • classy people, because CLASSLESS
  • non-pedos, because WTF EWW GROSS YOU STILL LOOK LIKE A CHILD
  • black people, because HOLY RACIAL STEREOTYPES BATMAN! Let's have all the other women in the scene be black, and let's have them making a huge deal about Miley's hip-shaking! Because CLEARLY if a BLACK woman validates it as impressive, that MUST mean that Whitely Cyrus over here is an amazing ass shaker!

It was pretty insulting and crude. But I didn't want to get riled up. I have no idea what is going through Cyrus' mind, but it's clearly very immature and lagging behind her body's age. Even Christina Aguilera went these deep when she decided to go full-on raunchy.

At least you didn't see her performance at the VMAs, it was just as if not more insulting - and gross - she ripped off her clothes to reveal a skin colored top and bottom and proceeded to twerk against 36 year old Robin Thicke's groin... while black women dressed up as bears danced around her in the background and paraded her around as the center of attention... while he sung a song about how women are animals that need to be domesticated and implies they don't need to give consent for sex.

...Yup.

You had me at the bears. Not as in "I gotta see this for myself! " had me but as in "Woooow. " had me.

I wonder if in fifty years' time we'll find out that one man was behind all of the music industry's most insulting song lyrics of the 2000s and 2010s.

It was in the slightly more terrible and not worth linking to sequel.

Got too distracted by the part where he says "Don't mind!" and the fansubbers incorrectly translated it as "Don't mind me!" ("Don't mind!" is a bit of wasei eigo that translates to "Don't worry [about it]!") I thought it was Sonic who was supposed to be speaking Engrish, not the fansubbers! DO HO HO HO HO! Very strange. It's like a multi-angle parody of Broadway musicals.

Spoiler: show
The part where the two meet is the best.

What ... the hell. Seriously? The child is naughty, Song Dynasty parent, and so you decide to reward his bad behavior ... with pocket money so he can go and listen to awesome stories?

Something's gotta be lost in translation here ...
