P1) Butternut had tried to make use of his time here, at first. There was no big, scary mawile to threaten him, no human to untimely foil his plans. With no sort of familiar eyes attempting to pry into his business (or so he thought), he had found the perfect opportunity to confront Elenchos and prove himself against him once and for all! But he couldn’t bring himself to do it, not with the little squid chittering in awe and amazement. The inkay’s excitement had swept aside Butternut’s view of his fellow teammate –the manipulative mastermind that seemed to have the humans at the end of his tentacle- in favor for the youthful fervor of a creature seeing its natural biome for the first time. The pumkasaur had to admit that for all of his partner’s backwardness, he could be kind of endearing at times. Attempting to challenge him to a battle now… it just felt wrong. So he left the squid to his own devices and wandered to the part of the island closest to his own natural habitat: the massive beanstalk at the center of the place. And oh boy, did that turn out to be a good idea! He never would have guessed there to be so many edible beans in one place, but here they were, in all of their multi-colored glory! It wasn’t long until he had managed to stuff himself silly, but it also wasn’t long before he realized that that may not have been such a good idea. What if he was still too full to move when a potential friend passed by? Oh well, he’d deal with that when the time came… P2) It was amazing! Elenchos hadn’t expected to see so much water in one place, yet alone water so blue or so salty. And yet, it all somehow seemed more proper, more correct than any of the places the Procession had stopped at to make camp. It felt like this place, with its frequent waves and its light, grainy-looking earth, was precisely where he was supposed to be- perhaps, even, where he came from. Even if did find a way to communicate normally with other beings, Elen doubted he could ever explain this amazing feeling to a single soul. Was this sort of surreal place even real? He was perfectly content to float around and look at the sea all day, until sun began to slowly set and dye the whole sea a spectacular shade of orange. His sunset-viewing was soon interrupted as a shadow crossed the sand in front of him, from somewhere high up in the sky. Was it a native? If so, what sort of creature could live here, in this land of calm and beauty? Elenchos wanted to- no, [i]had to[i]- find out, and so he elected to follow the shadow. After all, he might not get a chance to meet one of his beach-side kin again after he went back home! Isle Aphun P1) ~Treasure, treasure! Where can I find some sort of treasure~? Oh, what’s this? Why are there different paths? Maybe only one of them has treasure? Ooh, that would suck… Oh, I know! Maybe They all have wonderful treasures! Alright, which one should I choose…? Eenie, meenie… This way! Something god has to be this way! *Takes the left-hand path* P2) Berue stepped into the cave, determined to prove herself a capable spelunker despite her species’ jungle origins. Caves like these were likely to have ingredients that couldn’t be found in any sort of forest or field, as well as other objects of interest. The tangelo blinked a bit as her eyes adjusted to the darkness of the cave, and she took the chance to look around and truly survey her surroundings. Turns out the place was more of a mine than a natural cavern, so… maybe it has already been cleared of any materials humans find valuable? No, that couldn’t be the case. If it were, then why would it be part of thi- Hm? Her thoughts ground to a halt as a spot of red caught her eye. Could it be? She quickly rushed over to the spot and dug it up, using several of her vines at once to brush off the dust on it. It was… some sort of four-pointed rock? Louise would probably know what it was, but the mawile wasn’t her partner for this expiation. Wait. Where was Nadie? The tangelo looked around frantically, but couldn’t catch even the slightest glimpse of the woobat’s pale blue fur. She took a couple deep breaths. There was no point in panicking, not yet. Woobats live in this sort of environment, so he was fine. Probably. Once she was certain she had her wits together, Berue rushed over to the treasure chest to drop off her find and hurried back into the cave’s dark depths. Hopefully they’d both stay safe in here… ~ ~ ~ “Looks like the only one not having fun is Berue. Guess that was to be expected, though.” Chroma shut off the video feed on her pokedex and pressed the bean-shaped button. “Would you look at that, they gave us another batch of 80!” “That’s awfully generous of them,” Ami responded, her voice filled with surprise and confusion at the same time. “Why are they being so nice? We didn’t even have to pay anything for this, right?” “Not a single Poke! And to answer your question, some people find themselves with a lot of money and no desire to keep it. Many of them tend to give large amounts of that cash away, but… I’ve never heard of someone do so in such a loud fashion before. Kinda makes me wonder about this Mohn guy…” The older trainer shook her head, not quite wanting to dwell on those thoughts yet. Anyway, we should probably go about using these beans!” Ami sighed. “Is there really a point? This investment system doesn’t seem to be too helpful for us…” “Maybe not, but it might just help us out anyway. How does putting 30 Beans into Isle Abeans and 10 Beans into Isle Aphun sound?” “Fine. This was kind of your idea to begin with.” Ami paused for a second before continuing in a more cheerful manner. “Hopefully today will be more fruitful than the last!” $

Chad returned to the Pokemon Center after a day out with some of his Pokemon. He found a place to relax, and he decided to check on his Pokétube App after they had some time to enjoy Poké Pelago. He turned the app on, and immediately, eighty more Poké Beans appeared on his screen. Chad tuned to the first island. When he last saw Pinsir and Scyther, they were playing a game similar to Catch. The two bugs were enjoying themselves until Pinsir spotted a creature by a pile of Beans. He went to investigate, and the crabby Pokémon turned towards him. The Crabrawler inched towards Pinsir aggressively. Scyther, meanwhile, gave up waiting on continuing the game. While she and Pinsir never backed away from a good fight, she wasn’t really interested in a potential battle while they were on the island. Pinsir, too, stepped back bowing apologetically hoping the Crabrawler would just return to the Beans. Chad watched the whole scene, and he felt a moment of relief. ‘That new Pokemon seemed like a trouble-maker,’ Chad thought to himself. He was glad Scyther and Pinsir didn’t get in a fight with it. He noticed the bin on Isle Abeens was actually empty. Last time he tuned in, he was able to leave some Beans behind, and this time was no different. Also like last time, he dropped twenty PokéBeans in the bin. Chad changed to the next island. Combee and Kricketune appeared to have cleared some room for themselves. It seemed they had planted something, because Kricketune just finished watering his plots. Combee’s plots seemed to still be most. Chad wondered just how Combee would plant seeds, but he was starting to get sleepy. He just went with it, wanting to check on the other islands as well. The Bean bin was empty again, so Chad added twenty PokéBeans to it. Chad switched to the next island, and he immediately spotted Froakie searching around the cave entrance. Bulbasaur seemed to have disappeared into the cave’s entrance. They both were trying to find a way to get further into the cave. Froakie wasn’t having much success where he was searching, but he did not give up. He started tapping the ground and walls; perhaps there was another entrance no one had found yet. During Bulbasaur’s search of a wall, he found a shard of material that didn’t seem like it fit in the cave. Bulbasaur picked up the green shard in case it was something Chad may want to have. He smiled hoping the shard would help Chad out, and then he returned to helping Froakie with his search. Chad also smiled, and he dropped another twenty PokéBeans into the Bean bin near the entrance. He looked at the green shard in the treasure box and changed to the next island. Turning onto Isle Evelup, Chad caught the end of what seemed to be Teddiursa running an obstacle course. She looked like she worked hard, and Chad was proud of her. He also found Golett who was looking a little worn out. It was enjoying a tropical drink, as it rested; and Teddiursa sat with it drinking hers. Her drink, however, was blue. He couldn’t hear them, but Chad could tell that Teddiursa and Golett were have a chat while they were resting up. The idea really appealed to Chad, as he yawned. It was getting late at the Pokémon Center. In a short while, both Teddiursa and Golett were ready to continue with another workout. Chad smiled at what the pair of them accomplished. He deposited his final twenty PokéBeans into the Bean bin. Chad wished his Pokemon at Poké Pelago a good night, and he turned the Pokétube App off for the night. Team PC $

Hyrem checks back at the islands to find that his Pokemon have more or less settled in. First off, Ahri and Conis have both found a strange bird doing what appeared to be some sort of Alolan-style dance. He had seen movies about this kind of dance, but he didn't know there was a Pokemon that really liked doing that. "Huh, let's see what this Pokemon is," he said before checking his Pokedex: Oricorio, the Dancing Pokemon. This colorful Pokemon can take various forms and learn different dances based on the nectar they find in the area. This specimen has been drinking a pink-colored nectar and is known as the Pa'u Style Oricorio, native to the Akala Island in the Alola region. Its dance involves a slow sway of its hips which not only helps it channel its psychic powers but can also be quite mesmerizing to those watching it. "Aw, well, it does look cute," he commented before noting that Dexelle talked about there being multiple forms for this Pokemon. Maybe there was one that knew how to dance with a Tauros? In any case, he also saw that there were more beanstalks now in addition to the first one that had looked like it had grown quite a bit. "Ooo, I can send more Pokemon in there too! Now who else should go there?" ***At Isle Abeens*** As Ahri and Conis looked at the new bird in front of them, its dancing seemed to be quite calming for them. Ahri in particular saw this as an opportunity; she continued to passively watch the Oricorio dance but was more interested in keeping an eye out for other Pokemon that may be attracted by the bird's swaying motions in addition to the food that made this island already naturally attractive, in which case more Pokemon would see her own beautiful face. Conis, on the other hand, seemed more keen in actually greeting the dancing bird, so she went looking for a suitable bean that she could give the Oricorio for providing some entertainment on this island. Meanwhile, at the newly grown beanstalk to the west sat Sorano, who used her own coils as a place to rest her head while she watched the ocean and flicked out her tongue to smell for any potential visitors approaching the Dratini. Near the eastern beanstalk, Daphne took a second bag of 30 beans to the crate before she brings her leaf hand to her lips and plays a soft tune; though the Shiftry did like to play pranks in the past back when she was a Nuzleaf, she knew now wasn't the time to do so as that would likely scare off potential guests to the island, so instead she preferred to do something that would draw in Pokemon instead of drive them away. ********** Next, Hyrem saw that Toby and Zyra had planted various seeds and were simply waiting for them to grow. Perhaps giving them 30 beans would help them out in some special way in addition to giving Hyrem the ability to put in some extra hands to help the two Grass Pokemon grow the garden. Over where Laika and Ezreal were, they hadn't found much yet, though Ezreal was possibly on to something. They probably needed help as well, however, if they wanted to go further into the cave... ***At Isle Aphun*** Laika was getting discouraged at being unable to find anything lying around nor any way to venture further into the cave, so he stepped outside for a moment. Thankfully, another bag was there, this time a small one with 10 beans inside, so he put the extra bag in the crate before going back inside to check on what Ezreal was up to as well as see if he could find something using his trusty nose along with his Odor Sleuth attack to sniff something out. Meanwhile, Ezreal had already gotten off Laika's back to do some exploring on his own, and the rapid beating of his wings had apparently uncovered something that barely registered in his eye as yellow. ...Yellow? That seemed out of place, so Ezreal landed and crawled up to it to get a closer look... ********** Over with Luke and Silas, it seemed their training was going well so far, plus more Pokemon could be sent in for training, and Hyrem had some more ideas as to who might want to get stronger... ***At Isle Evelup*** After lapping up the rest of the blue liquid that was a brand new taste to him, Luke decided to test his new jaw strength out by snapping them shut in the air, and he liked the loud click his teeth made when they hit each other. With that in mind, he looked for something he could actually sink his teeth into, and maybe it was even something he could sneak up on as well. Silas, on the other hand, had just gotten the hang of stealth and was now ready to train himself to move faster while in stealth so he would be able to ambush his prey even easier. Meanwhile, on another part of the island, Nissa and Henrietta were both taking in the sights on the island before going into their own training, with Henrietta looking to improve her accuracy when using Water attacks or when shooting out her long tongue to stick onto something, while Nissa wanted to improve her jumping and climbing skills, maybe there were some trees around that would help her out. ********** Lastly, Hyrem checked in on Seshiro and Shisato, who were having fun just relaxing with each other and occasionally leaning toward each other to sip the steam water that had settled on their scales. And anyone who thinks two Arbok can't be adorable can take it up with them. He then thought they might enjoy having some beans around, so he dropped off the 10 beans he had left so they would have something to eat in case they were hungry. TL;DR: Isle Abeens (Lv. 2, +30 beans): Ahri and Conis stay, while Daphne (Shiftry) and Sorano (Dratini) join them Isle Aplenny (Lv. 1, +30 beans): Toby and Zyra stay Isle Aphun (Lv. 1, 20/30 beans, +10 beans): Laika and Ezreal stay Isle Evelup (Lv. 2, +0 beans): Luke and Silas stay, Nissa (Treecko) and Henrietta (Froakie) join them Isle Avue (Lv. 1, +10 beans): Seshiro and Shisato stay $

"I told youse!" snapped Meowth. "What'd ya stick him dere for?!" "I figured anything was better than Isle Aplenny," argued Keith. "You think he's been going to town on the Poké Beans? What do you think he'd do to the berries? Alright, so, we'll do a little switching around here... Seems I got some decisions to make about these islands anyways..." On Isle Abeens, Lenny the Weavile looked around. Cotton was no longer with him, Keith having transferred him to a different island. He'd seen an odd shadow circling around- perhaps a Flying Pokémon of some sort? He figured he'd check it out, but for now, he grinned as he saw three familiar faces coming his way. "Hey, guys," he called out. "Hello, Lenny," smiled the first of the newly arrived trio- Nagini the Arbok. Lenny grinned- Nagini was a much better choice for this island than Cotton. The Arbok was a very motherly personality, and would prove very welcoming indeed to any new Pokémon. "This is Isle Abeens, is it? It seems like a nice place." "Yeah!" added the smaller Pokémon beside Nagini- this one decidedly less serpentine in appearance, with a budding flower on her back. Lenny couldn't help but grin at the boundless excitement of Pomona the Ivysaur- when it came to Pokémon that would basically be ambassadors for the whole team, it didn't get much better than this. Pomona seemed to make it her goal to befriend everyone in the entire world. "This is gonna be sooooo cool!" The third newcomer said nothing, but Lenny knew better than to read anything into that- Shelley the Torkoal, after all, was completely mute. There was a warm, welcoming smile on the Torkoal's face, as several puffs of White Smoke from her shell formed a smiley face in midair. "Alrighty, then," smiled Lenny. "Let's collect some beans and see who they bring in, huh?" The others voiced their agreement to this plan (Shelley's agreement was given in a more nonverbal fashion, naturally). Though Lenny also wanted to check out that shadow... Over at Isle Aphun, Luna the Swoobat and Violet the Dunsparce had met back at the entrance. "Aw, don't feel bad, Vi," Luna was saying. "I lucked out when I found this Revive. You just gotta keep trying, right?" "I... I guess so," murmured the Dunsparce. "Yeah," smiled the Swoobat. "So what say we head back inside and try again, huh?" "...OK," Violet nodded, following the Swoobat back into the cave. "Ahhh, that hits the spot," grinned Pisces the Blue-Striped Basculin as she finished her tropical beverage. "Now that was some pretty intensive training." "Indeed," nodded Fatale the Shiny Beautifly. She had stabbed the side of the coconut cup with her long proboscis and was drinking her beverage that way. "Interesting flavor... reminds me of Tropius blood," she mused. "We will continue our training, yes?" she said to Pisces. "Damn straight," grinned the Water-type. "And I dunno about you, but I ain't going for that new pink stuff they got- I ain't after new moves, I'm after raw power." "I can agree with that sentiment, I suppose," said Fatale. "Keith has been rather good about teaching me new moves. The power to back up said moves... that is what I think I would like." "Hey," came a voice from behind them both. "What say we join you?" Fatale and Pisces wheeled around, only to see two familiar faces approaching them- Cotton the Swirlix, a little saddened to have departed Isle Abeens before he could have eaten his fill, as well as Jack the Ditto, who had been the one to speak. "So yeah, Cotton and I hear this place can get you some good experience, even level you up. I want me a piece of that." "Yeah, same here, I guess," nodded Cotton. "Though I will admit, I wouldn't say no to some of those delicious beans..." "Yeah, well, that attitude's what got you off Abeens in the first place," stated Jack. "So yeah, ladies, what do you say?" "I say you're quite lucky sucking your blood would be an exercise in futility," snapped Fatale. "For you annoy me." "Alright, got another 80 beans to work with here," Keith was saying. "Lemme see how I want to distribute them... I'm thinking another 30 beans to Isle Abeens... 40 to Isle Aphun, get that going... and the last 10, I think I'll put towards... Yeah, Isle Evelup, I guess," he decided. "Now... Let's see if this turns out even better than yesterday." $

Isle Abeens Schala first checks her welcoming committee to see if they've found any It seems that Airmid has already found a target. She rushes towards the first new Pokemon she sees, which looks like a brown donkey of some kind, and gleefully offers one of her many flower crowns to the Pokemon. (That Pokemon doesn't look too thrilled, Schala thinks to herself as she watches, but Airmid does have a tendency to grow on you. Like the literal fungus she is.) Heedless of the other Pokemon's personal space and any unfavorable signals from said Pokemon, the Shroomish attempts to place (or at least lightly toss, given the size difference and her tiny arms), the flower crown on her New Best FriendTM's head. (Everyone is Airmid's New Best FriendTM, mind you. Even if she hasn't met them. Schala has long since given up trying to understand how Airmid.) Pumpkaboo is distracted from double teaming their first visitor by the arrival of the second. She changes course to accost the new-newcomer with her own flowery gift. She offers it to the yellow bird before her, obviously expecting a favorable response. Surely the other Pokemon can see how amazing her gift is, right? (The crown looks a little less well made than Airmid's--but doesn't look immediately lethal or otherwise dangerous, at least from what I can see. If it hides a trick, it's a subtle one.) While Schala wants to see everything play out, she also has to check on her other Pokemon. Isle Aplenny Schala switches to the next island. Everything looks well there. The plots are all planted, nothing is frozen or on fire, and her two Pokemon are napping in the sun after a hard day's work. (Schala smiles. It seems like they're getting along fine.) Isle Aphun Next she checks on her adventuring pair. Though they haven't found anything, they also haven't found any trouble, for which Schala is grateful. They stand in front of a trio of paths, and a pair of torches. Though Nero can't grip the torches in hand, he does attempt to grab one to carry sideways in his mouth. The movement and open flame drives a grumpy Joltik from his head. She grumbles at him, but makes no move to regain her perch. Wary of the torch being waved about, she decides to part ways, complaining to herself the entire way. Nero, having no time for petty issues like weakness to fire or rude awakenings, especially when they aren't his direct problems, heads off down the middle path in search of the magnificent treasure sure to await him. (He takes the middle path because he's the center of the universe. Obviously. He's not exactly subtle, is he? Schala wonders to herself.) Joltik heads down the right path, away from her insensitive, narcissistic partner, and his fire. She can't carry a torch, but she can use occasional Discharges to try and see inside the tunnel. Split up, the two continue on. (Schala isn't surprised that Nero was being selfish, though she was surprised that he managed to make Jolik move. Hopefully the two will have a safe and successful adventure.) Isle Evelup The pair on Isle Evelup seem to have worn themselves out. The two seem to have finished their workouts and are resting, complete with exotic looking drinks. Tired but content, they look like they are enjoying themselves. (It seems like I made the right choice of Pokemon to send here. Their trainer smiles to herself.) Isle Avue Schala's Poochyena, Ajax, seems to have taken to the hot spring, and is looking more relaxed than she's ever seen him. (Granted, he looks like he's about three seconds from a complete meltdown most days, but still. She thinks, bemusedly.) Sneasel, on the other hand, doesn't look as comfortable. (Schala frowns. I thought that since the hot springs were water, it would be fine, but the heat seems to be bothering her.) ------- As she is wondering what to do about Sneasel, Schala notices that two of the islands updated and she can now send more Pokemon to them. "Okay, then. How about I move Sneasel to Isle Aphun and add Deino. They can explore the left path together. As for Isle Abeens I'll add Nyx the Purrloin and Sewaddle. There might as well be some voices of reason, just in case things get out of hand. Which is likely, considering the pair already there. Since there's an open spot on Isle Avue, how about I send Murkrow there. Maybe a soak will fix her attitude." With 80 more beans to spend, Schala decides to send 30 beans to Isle Abeens, 30 beans to Isle Aphun, and 20 beans to Isle Evelup, before calling it a night. TL;DR Version- Isle Abeens Lv. 2: Airmid the Shroomish, and Pumpkaboo. Adding 30 beans, Nyx the Purrloin, and Sewaddle. Isle Aplenny Lv. 1: Rufflet and Amphitrite the Spheal. No change. Isle Aphun Lv. 2: Nero the Nidoran Male (middle path) and Joltik (right path). Adding 30 beans, Sneasel (left path), and Deino (left path). Isle Evelup Lv. 1: Scyther and Furfrou. Adding 20 beans. Isle Avue Lv. 1: Ajax the Poochyena. Removing Sneasel. Adding Murkrow. (Member Post) (PC) $

Royal floated over to the bubbling water. He was curious but showed no emotion. He hopped the new pokemon would be freindly. Ruby looked up to see the new pokemon and hurriedly pushed some pokebeans in a pile. Suddenly 30 more pokebeans appeared in the crate carrying the donated pokebeans. Ruby hoped this would make even more pokemon appear. Both pokemon were quite excited to meet new friends. ~Isle Elvelup~ Kyary chan enjoyed the drink so much she bounced over to her dragon-type companion. "Smaug-chan how was your workout?". The Parachisu was bouncing in one place ready to go. Smaug grunted in recognition "Alright". Inside ,however, the Axew was redy for one more round of training. ~New Additions~ Kawaii collected her daily pokebeans and this time put 30 pokebeans towards Isle Abeens, Isle Evelup and Isle Aphun. She also decided to put her two newest pokemon Kigga the Sewadle and Priscilla the Slakoth into Isle Aphun ~Isle Aphun~ "K.i.g.g.a. a.r.e. y.o.u. s.u.r.e. i.t.'s. s.a.f.e. i.n. t.h.e.r.e.?" Priscilla whined in her slow manner of speech. The sewadle rolled her eyes, "Of course Priscilla, they wouldn't have it on the island if it wasn't safe." The normal-type slowly followed her grass/bug type companion into the cave filled with treasures. Kigga sighed to herself, she had wanted to go to Isle Aplenty and used her skills as a gardener to her advantage , but Kawaii needed the stones more. Plus, they did not have any berries on them so they would not be able to plant anything anyway. Even though Priscilla was scared she was eager to hunt for stones to help her trainer. The slakoth also wanted to prove her bravery, she also hoped she could find some stones she could wear to make her pretty. Ooc: putting 30 pokebeans to each of the islands my pokemon are on. Putting Kigga the Sewadle and Priscilla the Slakoth on Isle Aphun $

At least they weren't too anxious about splitting up and making friends with Evelup's other residents. Their more open natures made that a little easier, with Lorin likely to be a fun addition to the water play going on. He splished and splashed, racing his new companions and partaking in games of water polo and lap routes, the more serious competitions broken up by slides and co-operative courses. Whenever his vantage was high enough, the dual-type looked out for Atsumu, checking on the hardworking soundbite, whose battle cries and victory calls occasionally caused a bit of an uproar. By nightfall, the pair of them were chilling with their fruit drinks around a series of campfires, reflecting on their progress thus far. It was a pleasant surprise then when Alice returned on her little boat, contributing thirty more poke beans to the crate and surprised by the humans and fighting types who were constructing more on the island. Was it really safe like that? "Wassup, my boys?" Alice cooed as her Pokemon ran over. On her straining back, Axel the Abra hung over her and Peaches the bright pink Pichu excitedly rushed about them. "You two are looking well. I thought I'd bring you some more company, yeah? -- Although, like, Axel's probably only gonna be moral support, but it's the thought that counts." She dropped the psychic type onto the grass, and Lorin chuckled, letting out a grateful buzz when the human crouched to kiss him and then Atsumu. Atsumu gave a demonstration of power as he began to drag the napping Abra from the sand. Alice cringed, but Axel didn't even seem to notice. "Nice." "Pichu! Pii, pii, Pichuu!" Peaches waved, already by the camp fire. Once her goodbye was given, she was apparently trying to hunt down one of those blue fruit drinks that everyone was raving about. "Bye, Peaches! See ya, Axel and Atsumu! And I wuv you, my little squishy, lovely, super strong boy! Mwah!" Alice lavished her Lotad with another cuddle and squeeze and kiss and then let them be, waving at the groups of Pokemon as the boat once again drifted from the shore. ((Thirty more pokebeans yo. Leaving Axel/Abra and Peaches/Pichu along with Lorin and Atsumu. <3 Membah post. Memberrrrr.

"There was room for another two here, so I've taken our smaller companion along to stretch her wings." Looking around, Mistilteinn quickly found the source of the psychic vocals: Nuhuko the Lunatone, the pumpkin-tinted rock hovering keeping their eye on Harpe, while giving a bob towards the water, as though to ask the Abomasnow to have a look, given the yeti's size and proximity. With a shrug, the ice type reached into their fur and procured some snoverberries, thankful that evolution hadn't stopped his ability to produce the sweet fruit. Over at Isle Aplenny, Isaac gave as rolling of eyes as possible at the recklessness of Glasspine's planting, before calling the Sandshrew over, the sheepish ground type's eagerness to get started backfiring as they realised the planting could lead to competitiveness and stunted growth. The Cubone, thankfully, was happy to help him spread the seeds out a bit more, and aided with rewatering, the Sandshrew utilising a careful rototiller to promote growth among the plants by enriching the soil with ground energy, though it was unknown how long the plants would take to grow, but neither party minded, as the weather was fine and the isle peaceful. At the cavern of Isle Aphun, the Garchomp had run into a hitch, with no clear way out, while Lapis found herself with a protrusion in the rock. While interested, the Dusknoir felt there would be more fortune deeper in the cavern, but with Caladbolg at an impasse, the phantom felt that giving the dragon a hand would serve them better. Floating to the puzzled beast, she motioned to the claws, and then the ground, the Mach pokemon getting the hint after a few seconds before beginning to dig around for another way deeper into the cave, Lapis opting to investigate deeper in the isle. Over on Isle Evelup, Napier chuckled at the shadow pokemon's predicament as both relayed their thoughts on their courses, the Zangoose growing irritated with the teasing seahorse before hopping to her feet with a dare to the pokemon: Try a harder course. With a hardened expression, the Horsea valiantly accept the challenge before pointing to a large mountainous course and betting the lazy fluffball couldn't get to the top of it, setting his own task to the Zangoose. The waters of Isle avue were exquisite to Vog and Herex, the gatekeepers relaxed in the springs, while they discussed events over the course of the day. The pair were more than content to spend longer in the springs, though felt a short break out of the water would do them the world of good and avoid boiling them. Following the pause, they were ready for another soak. A great distance away, Alex monitored the pelago progress, while keeping an eye on the stakeout. The damage to the wall had been pinned on a rampaging wild pokemon, which was what he was betting on, and repairs being active and security meant the way into the compound was open, if he was careful. Taking time to accept the notification of extra beans, he distributed them accordingly before making his way for the unguarded door, for business. --- OOC: Harpe the Aipom will remain on Isle Abeens, with continued interest in the main vine. Mistilteinn the Abomasnow will remain on Isle Abeens, investigating the bubbling water. Falchion the Starly will enter Isle Abeens, interested in the smaller vines. Nuhuko the Lunatone will enter Isle Abeens, looking around the isle. Isaac the Cubone and Glasspine the Sandshrew will remain on Isle Aplenny, continuing to nurture their plantings. Caladbolg the Garchomp will remain on Isle Aphun, attempting to dig into the cave to find treasure. Lapis the Dusknoir will remain on Isle Aphun, searching further into the cave. Napier the Horsea and Totsuka the Shadow Zangoose will remain on Isle Evelup, taking on the courses with both looking towards the blue drink. Vog the Drowzee and Herex the Drapion will remain on Isle Avue, to spend another session in the springs. I will be claiming 80 Pokebeans, and allocating them as follows: 20 Pokebeans go to Isle Aphun. 20 Pokebeans go to Isle Evelup. 20 Pokebeans go to Isle Abeens. 10 Pokebeans go to Isle Aplenny. 10 Pokebeans go to Isle Avue. $

"First of all none of the mare your biological children, second of all hold your horses missy. I'm just getting the signal so come up if you wanna see," her trainer shouts back, too lazy to get out of bed that day. --- Island Abeens Twix stared off at Yuke, who was a bit mad at him after he kept annoying the Spheal. It seems a weird spider-like thing wandered over to converse with his pal. While making a new friend seemed fun, Twix decided to not annoy his friend any more and continued to check out the new growths on the island. Meanwhile Yuke was in awe at the bug that approached him. He decided to laze around and splash on the beech, since he knew Twix hated getting wet. While he did so, a strange new Pokemon seemed to approach to say hello. It looked like a weird spider with a giant water bubble on its head. Yuke thought it was friendly enough, so he waved hello and offered the Pokemon to play with him. --- Island Aplenny "These little sprouts look like they'll become strong and health, right Leia?" Forrest chuckles as he puts away their watering cans. " Well I reckon we gave them 'nough water, so yeah. Oh yea boy, the master sent more beans for us so I'll go put 'em in that box there. Maybe we'll get more seedlin's~ " she responds with a happy cheer, and puts 30 Pokebeans into the crate. --- Island Aphun "Hey seems you had no luck small fry?" Nick questions as he looks at the Revive he found. "Uh no, but I remembered I had more beans to put in the box..." Parker mutters as the Mareep puts in 10 more beans into the box. "Well alright, I'm going back in. I'm sure I'll find something again," the Ninetales gives a cocky grin before heading back into the tunnels. "Showoff..." the Mareep says under his breath before following the fox back into the caverns. --- Island Evelup Homonculus' doll watches as the Bronzor and Lunatone are deeply involved in their chess match. It then is psychically lifted by its owner to deposit 30 beans into the box, and then returned back to its original spot. --- Island Avue "Uh, sir, are you alright?" Jakob questions the Skity, who has been reduced to a mewling mess of bliss. The Espurr, while enjoying the water, didn't become a babbling baboon like his companion. The Espurr then sees more beans sent and gets out of the water for a second to put in 10 Pokebeans to the crate. --- OOC: Claiming 80 Pokebeans, and with the 10 leftover from last update, will be allocating 30 to both Aplenny and Evelup, and 10 to Aphun and Avue. Everyone shall stay where they're at. PC Post

As Sparky continued his story, Voltaire found himself ready to doze off. "Are we done yet? I'm sorry but I came here to find some lovely ladies, not listen to you ramble on with one of your stories. It doesn't even have any romance in it!" Voltaire exclaimed. "That's all that's ever on your mind, isn't it?" Sparky asked. "What else am I supposed to do, fall asleep while you tell another boring tale?! No! You can stay here all you want, I'm going to look for some Pokemon!" The Emolga exclaimed before hopping away. Sparky watched as Voltaire hopped around, before coming face to face with a Rockruff. The Galvantula was about to run over, but stopped himself. He knew Voltaire wouldn't harass the pup Pokemon, it wasn't the Emolga's type at all. With that worry out of the way, Sparky began to look around. If he wanted to escape from the Emolga's exploits, now was his chance! The Galvantula definitely didn't mind leaving Voltaire behind, but his trainer had specifically asked for him to watch the sky squirrel Pokemon.... After wrestling with the idea for a bit, Sparky began to take off in a different direction, in hopes of finding another Pokemon. Voltaire was going to be occupied with the puppy Pokemon for a bit, there was no way he'd get into trouble anytime soon! ------ "Of all the Pokemon to find on this island, it has to be this one" Voltaire muttered as the Rockruff came bounding towards him. This certainly wasn't the damsel in distress that he had been looking for. If the Emolga was to have any shot at finding what he was looking for, he had to act, and fast! In a panic, the Emolga began to look around franticly, hoping to find something to pin the Rockruff on. "Sparky come back! Please come back! I need your help!" The Emolga shouted as his teammate began to walk away. "What a coward! He's probably going off to find all the ladies without me!" The Emolga exclaimed. He couldn't just ignore the Rockruff, that would be so very rude of him! The ladies would surely weep if he did so! What was an Emolga to do?! "What's the problem Voltaire? Everything seems fine to me!" A small voice spoke up, causing the Emolga to nearly jump out of his skin. "Don't scare me like that!" Voltaire yelled as he turned to face the owner of the voice, a young Minun named Hiku. "Don't worry about it Hiku, Voltaire's probably on one of his silly, hopeless, romantic adventures." Tasu the Plusle explained. "First of all it's not hopeless. Second of all how did you two get here? I thought it was just me and Sparky." Voltaire questioned. "The island's been upgraded, didn't you know? That means four of us are allowed here now." Hiku explained. "He was probably too busy day dreaming." Tasu retorted. "So Voltaire, are you going to introduce us to your new friend?" "Oh yes, pardon me!" Voltaire exclaimed before turning to the Rockruff. "These are my friends Hiku and Tasu." Voltaire explained as he pointed at the mice. "And while I'd love to stay, I have places to be, ciao!" The Emolga exclaimed before hopping off in search of new Pokemon. "Voltaire come back! You can't just leave like that!" Hiku exclaimed. "Just let him go Hiku.." Tasu said to her younger brother. "We don't need him anyway if he's gonna act like that." The Plusle then turned to address the Rockruff. "Sorry about Voltaire, he can be like that at times...well all the time actually." Tasu explained. "Oh, we never introduced ourselves! I'm Tasu, and this is my little brother, Hiku" The Plusle said, pointing to the Minun behind her. ------ Isle Aplenny "There, all done!" Charlie exclaimed as the last drop of water hit the soil. "Well done bro! At this rate we'll have tons of berries in no time!" Toby roared in excitement. "So umm now what do we do? Just wait until the plants grow?" Charlie asked. "Yep, I'm super stoked, all our evil work is finally paying off!" "I'm glad that it is but...umm....how are these berries going to help us? It's just a bunch of fruit." Charlie replied. "Why it's simple, we turn them into delicious smoothies!" Toby exclaimed. Once we give them to people, they won't be able to stop eating them! They'll do anything for our delicious and nutritious fruit smoothies!" "You're the best bro! You always come up with the best ideas. Master Aco is going to be so pleased!" Charlie exclaimed. "I know, I know. All we have to do now is wait...victory will surely be ours!" Toby roared before sitting down beside the berry fields, his brother quickly joining him. ------ Isle Aphun "Error is having so much fun! Error can't wait for another go!" Error exclaimed as he circled around the outside of the cave, waiting for his teammate to come back. The Magneton didn't have to wait long, for shortly after speaking, Diamanta emerged from the cave, carrying a hard looking stone. "Diamanta has returned! And you even brought back a treasure! Your expedition was a success!" Error droned as he circled the Carbink. "Yep! Sadly that's all I could find.... How did your expedition go?" Diamanta asked as she tossed the rock into the treasure box. "It was great! Error had lots of fun! Error didn't find anything though...." "Well that's ok! Maybe you'll find something next time!" Diamanta exclaimed. "You really think so? I'm so excited! Let's check the cave again! Error is ready whenever you are!" "Well what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Diamanta exclaimed as she entered the cave once more, Error following right behind. ------ Isle Evelup "Woo, that was an amazing workout!" Blues exclaimed as he finished the rest of his blue tropical drink. "Indeed! I don't think I've had this intense of a workout in my life!" Elena exclaimed. "Not that I'm complaining. If this keeps up, I'm sure we're in for a substantial power boost!" "I hope so! That's why I'm drinking this blue drink. I don't need any more moves, just pure power!" Blues exclaimed. "What about you, are you going after any new moves, or just power?" "I can only go with power. As a Tynamo, it's impossible for me to learn any more moves then the four I have." Elena explained. "Well that sucks. All the easier it is for me to win our competition though!" "Competition? Sounds fun! Can I join?" A sudden voice spoke out, it's owner quickly making it's way towards the pair. "Of course you can, the more the merrier!" Elena exclaimed. "Yay! I can't wait. Maybe people will take me seriously if I give it my all." Bagel the Axew said. "Count me in too! If our trainer is under threat from those weird people, I need to be stronger!" Alfie the Electrike barked. "Looks like this is going be tougher then I thought.... Well I'm not wasting anymore time, I'll beat you all, just you wait!" Blues exclaimed as he made his way towards the equipment, his teammates right behind him. (Ooc: All four Pokemon will be drinking the blue drink) ------ Isle Avue Though Kage had came here to relax, the Nuzleaf was only finding herself more and more irritated everytime Sprout opened her mouth. Despite this, Kage found that she quite liked this place, the water was pretty soothing... "Don't you think the water is great Kage?" Sprout asked as she continued to soak in the refreshing water. "So why are you so secretive? Are you secretly a super hero?" "Nah probably a super villain....umm do you have any hobbies? Besides super secret ninja stuff." "Can you teach me how to be stealthy? I want to be the first Weepinbell ninja! Can you imagine?" "Why do you hang out with Aco so much? Doesn't he hate you or something?" "Enough!" Kage shouted, causing Sprout to leap in surprise. "But I just want to be friends and learn more about you! I'll keep asking until you start answering!" The Weepinbell exclaimed. "Fine. If you shut up, I'll let you ask one question. Just one, and then stop talking to me. Deal?" Kage asked. "Deal! Can it be any question? Wait, that doesn't count does it? Oops, not again!" "I suggest you not waste it. Maybe think about it for a while. A long while." Kage replied. With any luck the Weepinbell would overthink it and wait until this was over. Then she wouldn't be able to ask anything at all. A Nuzleaf could only hope. ------ (Ooc: Putting thirty beans into Isle Abeens, thirty into Isle Evelup, ten into Isle Aphun and ten into Isle Aplenny.) $

And then he noticed the faint smell of something closing in on the beanstalk. His head reared up to gaze at the distance. His pupils contracted to thin slices and a blood red colour drowned his irises. “Pumpka!” it shouted. Floss turned in surprise, wondering what Jack was exclaiming. She saw a creature approaching them; a pink bear-like stuffed animal. “Swirl!” she shouted in glee, hoping she was about to make a new friend. She wondered what her new friend would taste like. She hoped sweet. She liked sweet things. The Cotton Candy Pokémon dashed towards the newcomer, tongue loose like a rabid dog and ready to lick their guest welcome. Jack remained perfectly still in his place, only occasionally shaking on his legs as his nerves steeled against the violent possession of his Halloween background. A toothy grin stretched across his face as the scent of something else met his nostrils. Jack wasn’t interested as much in their new guest. He had the innate sense that something else was coming to them. He walked away from Floss with disinterest and continued his search for the other scent. --- Rose opened up one of the small seed packets packaged in the basket on the island. A sweet smell flowed out and entranced the flower Pokémon. The Roselia held the bag open to her partner Brig the Skorupi, allowing her to take a whiff of the sweet aroma as well. “Skor, skor.” Brig gleamed happiness. “Selia,” Rose nodded to her partner with a tender smile. The two walked together across the island’s grounds. Rose planted her roots in the soil every now and again, testing the earth’s fertility and trying to find an optimal place to grow a sapling. Upon finding such a spot, Brig would scratch at the earth to make a little hole and Rose would plant a seed. The two buried it under a light pack of dirt and moved on to find other such spots to plant the other berries. --- The island consisted mostly of a single cave of unknown depth. Along the entrance, Doom sniffed across the ground up and down, every so often treading into the cave’s mouth and exiting. “Caw, whatcha doin stupid?” the Chatot teased the Absol Doom merely ignored his fellow Pokémon’s taunts. He wasn’t as nearly aggravated as his trainer was when it came to Blackbeard’s jabs. He was more interested in oncoming doom and secrets. Secrets like the cave on the island with a single entrance that didn’t run deep. He felt he was missing something. There must have been more to it but he couldn’t find what it was. “Caw, you’re an idiot,” the Chatot flapped its wings and took off into the cave. Doom let him go and didn’t follow, instead probing the ground, hoping to find something. “Caw, idiot” the Chatot called out from inside the cave. Doom ignored him. “Caw,” he called again. Doom didn’t pay attention to his ally. “Chatot chat!” Doom craned his neck towards the cave in surprise. Black rarely spoke in his species’ tongue. Doom wondered if it meant the Chatot was in trouble. He doubted it and presumed it was probably just another cry of attention from the Music Note Pokémon. Nevertheless, Doom paced himself into a gentle stroll towards the Chatot’s cries. He came up to a skeleton propped up against the cave wall. Atop the skeleton’s shoulder perched Blackbeard, giving another cry towards the Absol. “Caw, shiver me timbers,” he joked. --- Kong and Wattson propped themselves against one of the tires the Slaking had being hauling around. Both took a beverage, complimentary with the island, sat and drank thirstily. Both felt a renewed vigour after their training, finding themselves stronger than they did before. A good exercise routine is essential for the mind after all. Elsewhere, Lucas looked over his Pokédex at his Pokémon’s stats. He was impressed by his Magnemite’s performance but he tried not to show it. Wattson wasn’t the group’s best battler, if you could even call him a battler at all. His erratic nature and sudden outbursts of mechanical cries made him tough to handle or train and it showed when he took on the aerial course, missing most of the targets along the way. Gradually though, his aim got better and pretty soon his shots were more accurate, employing his Lock-On attack he never used before. ’A little more,’ Lucas hoped, ’and maybe.’ He wasn’t impressed with his Slaking however. Kong was already incredibly strong and destroyed a large chunk of his base when he evolved. Lucas sent him to train his new strength and control it. Instead, he found his Slaking lazing around with a beverage. Whether he trained or not, Lucas knew Kong could do much better. “Hey!,” Lucas violently tapped his Pokédex’s screen, hoping to get in contact with them. “I sent you there to train. Get up you sloth.” --- Sterope was nervous of the Elgyem at first, having never had a proper conversation with him before but she found that the Psychic-type had a Docile nature and kept much to himself. Luckily she wasn’t nearly as bashful and fearful now as when she was just a Ponyta, or she would have galloped into a frenzy and set the whole island on fire. The waters dotted around the island didn’t help in making her feel relaxed though. Water was the Fire-type’s bane and she thoroughly disliked the idea of her trainer sending her here. Greycoat was the first to dip into one of the hot springs, eyeing them with inspection. Slowly though, as he sagged his body into the warm water, he found the hot spring to be rather soothing and relaxed. He gave a quiet chime and closed his eyes as he bathed in the water. Sterope eyed her partner suspiciously and slowly dipped one of her hooves into the waters opposite Grey, then her leg, then another, and another, until all four of her legs were standing in the mineral spring. She relaxed and slowly set the rest of her body to soak into the waters. She relaxed and both Pokémon enjoyed the warmth of the spring as it soothed their bodies. *Construction has finalized for Isle Abeens, you are now allowed to deposit two more pokemon* *80 pokebeans are awaiting your pick up* *You have one new found item* “Let’s see what I have available at the moment.” ##Relay Initialized ##Enter Y/N Y_ ## Password ******** ## Access Granted //Lannette's PC## Welcome Aposteriori The trainer starts off by picking up his allotted 80 pokebeans so he can spread them about accordingly. Scanning the island, Isle Abeens has the availability to deposit two more pokemon. Aposteriori is quick to drop off Ludwig the Spearow and Yugi the Yamask to explore the islands. Checking around for his previous two pokemon, Torkoal and Spinarak, he notices that Celine has encountered a potential friend. In a non-menacing manner, Celine proceeds to use String Shot on the surrounding terrain, in an attempt to construct playful shapes that might amuse the panda-like pokemon. Speed IV continues to roam and loaf around, minding his own business at the moment. There isn’t much to observe about Isle Aplenny, both pokemon are roaming freely as they equally attend to their berry patches. As the play tag, Sakura was it. She darts across the field using acrobatics, avoiding any plants that she and her friend might have planted. With a playful smile, Sakura tags Sawtooth in the head. The beaver pokemon chases the monkey around the field, though she is having a difficult time keeping up. Back to Isle Aphun, Heastroke is shown coveting his found item before gently placing it inside the provided treasure box. Aposteriori notes that this found Red Shard might be of use later on. The trainer decides to keep the happy hunter inside the island, opting not to remove Magcargo from future explorations. He is last seen slugging back to find more items. Loffley does his best to continue on a path. Whether or not the Jellicent found the right path, that is completely relative to what he might find along the way. The trainer gazes over Isle Evelup, seeing how the training is coming along for his two friends. Magenta is taking her training very serious, trying to prove she is part of the top ten percent of Snubbull. Lifting a nearby hefty branch with Strength, Magenta does a couple weight lifting reps before going and about with her training. Damien is seen bored at one point, reminding himself that his previous training with much more menacing obstacles makes this place seem like a playground for baby pokemon. Woobat continues to be a good sport, flying around the field to show off his skills. Both pokemon get into the hot springs located inside Isle Avue. Now on to their real business. Tosh and Bugs explore some hidden tension between the two. Bunnelby continues on his backstroke, and gently swims near Tosh. He uses one of his ears to gently stroke the back of Tosh in an inviting manner. The Patrat is left blushing, not knowing if he should reciprocate his feelings or not. He vaguely recalls how Bugs might have been interested in another bunny who is part of the trainer’s roster. Seeing that they are all alone, Tosh reciprocates the advance by massaging the back of Bugs as they continue to enjoy the hot springs in privacy. The trainer quickly switches islands as he does not want to interrupt the two rodents within the last island. You can say that it got extra steamy as he looked away. The trainer feels that it is about time he spreads his seeds around the islands. Again, he dumps 30 beans for Isle Abeens, 20 beans for Isle Evelup, and 10 beans each for Isle Aplenny, Aphun, and Avue respectively. The researcher does one last roll call to see who is where before logging out of his pc. Speed IV (Torkoal), Celine Theridion (Spinarak), Yugi (Yamask), and Ludwig (Spearow) are roaming Isle Abeens. Sakura (Pansage) and Sawtooth (Bidoof) are roaming Isle Aplenny. Heatstroke (Magcargo) and Loftley (Jellicent) are roaming Isle Aphun. Magenta (Snubbull) and Damien (Woobat) are roaming Isle Evelup. Tosh (Patrat) and Bugs Bunny (Bunnelby) are roaming Isle Avue. ##Exit Y/N Y_ ## Thank you for using Pokémon Storage System. ## Shutting off... ## Good bye, Aposteriori $

Pluto trotted across the grassy terrain, tail wagging as he drank in the scene. This island wasn’t terribly big, or at least so he’d thought as he’d arrived a few minutes ago, but there were plenty of dips and hills and shrubs and such around, so there were likely plenty of Pokemon hanging out around here. His nostrils flared at hints of unfamiliar scents, though they were a bit hard to follow, what with the salty sea breeze wafting under his nose. His head swiveled to and fro as he walked, hoping to catch sight of a new friend. Something kinda-sorta crunched under his paw, and he paused to look down at the brightly colored bean he’d just stepped on. A curious sniff drew some interest - it has an interesting aroma, and even though he wasn’t sure what to make of this scent, his canine hunger whined for further inspection - but instead he continued on. Food was great, but his trainer had sent him on a mission, and by golly he was going to see it through. A flicker of pink caught his attention. Without fanfare, he changed course and headed toward a pale pink mushroom that bobbed a little every now and then. As he got closer, he noticed that it was in fact one of three mushrooms, all adorning the head of a little fungus creature. The strange Pokemon had its thin roots wrapped around one of those Pokebeans, apparently draining the nutrients. Pluto didn’t know a lot about that kind of eating, and this mushroom guy did seem sort of weird - it had sort of an otherworldly presence to it; not overwhelmingly so, but just enough that it he could imagine it dancing creepily in the pale moonlight. It didn’t particularly bother him, though. Fairy-type Pokemon might be naturally off-putting to dark-types like himself, but he’d gotten used to it ever since one of his friends, Pax, had evolved into a Sylveon. “Hey!” he exclaimed, trotting over. “Whatcha doing?” The mushroom looked up, puzzled, as Pluto leaned in to sniff. Then his muzzle wrinkled, and he pulled back, fighting against a sneeze until it could no longer be contained, and it burst forth with a mighty A-CHOO! Those sure were some ticklish spores. Then his grin faded as he realized that the mushroom was probably startled by that sneeze - if not the noise itself, then at least the sharp teeth that had surely been exposed. “Shoot! Sorry! Here, wait …” He snuffled along the ground before coming across another Pokebean, which he hastily offered to the mushroom. “Here’s another one. I don’t know a lot about these things, but I think you like them?” He panted happily at the fairy mushroom creature. Overhead, Fulgora shook her head to herself as she glided lazily through the air. Pluto hadn’t noticed her at all, even though her winged shadow had circled around him a few times. That kid was so obsessed with the weirdest things. (Never mind that he was actually older than her. Age is a number and all that.) The flying squirrel had a much better view of things from up here. Had that silly Poochyena even noticed the towering beanstalk in the middle of the island? Kind of hard to miss, even disregarding the fact that the beans were coming from there. Those beans did look kind of interesting, though. Maybe she should try one out or something. Her gaze swept across the island, looking around for something a little more interesting, then paused as a bubbling motion caught her eye. Something was in the water over by the beach, she could see. That was interesting - the beanstalk was the big draw of this place, she’d heard, so what was a Pokemon doing over there, as far away from it as possible? Could be a water-type that couldn’t move on land, maybe a fish. It seemed worth checking out. She swooped down, seized the first bean she saw, and whooshed over toward the shoreline. The bean would be a great icebreaker if she decided she liked whatever Pokemon was over there. With a little flutter, the Emolga touched down on the sand near the bubbling patch of water, squinting to see just what was over there. ~ Isle Aplenny (Lopunny & Steelix) Terra watched intently as Venus tilled the soil, digging in little furrows for planting. The furrows weren’t exactly parallel, but it was close enough. Why would anyone care about the groundwork when, in the end, the berries would be grabbing all the attention? At least, that was Venus’s line of thinking. Terra wasn’t quite sold on that excuse, but she figured she could deal with that if she ever managed to learn Rototiller. It’d probably be trickier for her to burrow the way Venus was doing, since the Steelix was so big that she might gouge out a valley on accident. Feeling a bit superfluous at just sitting here while Venus was doing all the digging, Terra gingerly picked up the sample seed packet with the tip of her tail. She couldn’t tell what kind of berries these would grow; the writing was too small to make out. With a kind of dipping shrug motion, she tilted the packet verycarefully, nervous about dumping out all the seeds at once. But she did manage to get the seeds down there, letting them spill out in a thin, shaky line in the wake of her Lopunny teammate. Venus had to stifle a giggle at how Terra looked, the huge metal snake trying to delicately maneuver a comparatively tiny seed packet. At least she wasn’t doing too bad! When the packet was empty, the two Pokemon inspected their handiwork. It didn’t look too bad, really. A blind Aerodactyl would certainly have done worse. Venus assured Terra of this with all the solemnness she could muster, which wasn’t much, but at least she tried. And Terra did try, she knew that. They’d only just started, and they’d see what resulted soon enough. In the meantime, they could sprinkle a little water over the seeds and watch for the sprouts to pop up. ~ Isle Aphun (Herdier & Zubat) Mercury was on high alert as soon as he set foot inside the cave. There were lots of interesting scents wafting up here from the tunnels inside, but this one was the closest and therefore the easiest to pick up on. He wasn’t sure what it was, but he sure wanted to find out. “This can only be something great!” he huffed. Being a dog, his impulse control was not the greatest, so he readied himself to dig up whatever neat item was buried here. Justitia swooped into the cave, letting out a couple quick cries so she could look at her surroundings with echolocation. “Okay,” she chirped. “It’s kind of quick to be finding something as soon as we come in here, but you know what you’re doing, Mercury. I’ll be going …” She paused, considering the triad of tunnels leading deeper underground. Nothing seemed to stand out about any of them, so she picked one at random. “I’ll be heading down the tunnel on the right over here. That’s probably the right choice. Heh …” Chuckling at her own lame pun, she fluttered into the darkness and out of sight. As she flew away, Mercury watched her go, his paws covered in dirt. She had a point, but then again, she couldn’t smell this thing like he could! His expert opinion could not be denied. I mean, who has the incredibly functional nose around here? So he quickly resumed digging, letting the dirt go flying every which way. What could this mysterious thing be? ~ Isle Evelup (Golduck & Zorua) Remus collapsed into one of those collapsible beach chairs and took a big, cold gulp of blue tropical fruit drink. The myriad of training equipment here was more than she’d thought possible, from goofy things that were probably tire swings to unsettling contraptions that looked more like instruments in public execution. They weren’t actually torture devices, she was fairly sure, but her aching muscles would need more convincing. She glanced over to the side, where her Golduck teammate was lounging in a similar beach chair, sipping at his own tasty blue drink. From what she’d seen from glancing at his workout, he’d been having an even tougher excursion, but he just seemed satisfied from that heart-pounding workout. Noticing that she was watching, Fons silently raised an eyebrow, the corner of his beak twitching. Remus grumbled a bit and returned to her drink, lapping it as she watched the sun go down. This was just the breaking-in part, she was sure. Tomorrow she’d go above and beyond even this blue duck guy. Let’s see him grinning then! ~ Isle Avue (Croagunk & West Shellos) Now this was the life. Invidia didn’t usually associate heat with happiness, but in the case of these hot springs she could definitely make an exception. Her dry skin soaked up the water thirstily, and she couldn’t help but let slip a sigh. For the first time in she didn’t know how long, she was actually relaxing. Not far away, Tiberinus was floating across the water like a little pink less-grumpy-than-usual swan boat, trying not to smile. It was hard to be annoyed at people when everything around you just felt so nice. ~ Meanwhile … Pest regarded her Pokemon’s progress throughout the day. A notification on the Poketube app dinged, and her eyes lit up upon realizing that four more Pokemon could now be sent out thanks to some upgrades on the islands. She decided that she’d send Mellona the Vespiquen and Carmenta the Solosis to Isle Abeens; they weren’t as fuzzy and cute as Pluto and Fulgora, but it might be useful to send out Pokemon that had a different vibe, and Mellona and Carmenta were reasonably nice anyway, so that should be fine. And for Isle Aphun … it looked like the construction people were setting up some torches as part of the upgrade. It might be trickier to see farther into the caves, she guessed, so she’d need to send a couple more Pokemon who could get around the whole “not seeing” thing. Providentia the Girafarig could sniff around with Odor Sleuth and light up the caves with Flash, and maybe even her creepy tail, Sagax, could serve as an extra pair of eyes. Likewise, Minerva the Alakazam could investigate the caves with Flash. With that taken care of, she looked over today’s gift of 80 Pokebeans. Things seemed to be going pretty well so far, so she’d distribute the beans the same way she’d done yesterday - 30 beans to Isle Abeens, 30 beans to Isle Aphun, and 20 beans to Isle Evelup. She sent them all off and leaned back, looking forward to what the next day would bring. Member Post / PC $

~*~*~ Isle Abeens: The tiny island of Abeens sure was a sight for those that had never heard the story of 'Jake and the Beanstalk'. Even the multi colored beans that would occasionally fall were something else to behold. "Look Magi!" the cute, light blue fossil Amaura called out to the large aquatic serpent in the water, "Doesn't this bean look at lot like the frills above my eye?! So colorful and majestic!" Across the shore, where the large Gyarados was, swimming quite contently in the open ocean, Magi responded, "It sure is! Hey..." the serpent looked on, "Do you think anyone else is on this island? We've been here for quite a while, I've even lapped the pool once just to be sure and I can't seem to find anyone...d-do y-you think that I've might of scared them off? Being a Gyarados, everyone assumes I'm mean and might be prone to wild episodes of violence..." "Don't say such things!" Amor protested but stopped once the fossil Pokémon witnessed a yellow puff-ball above her Pokémon companion's head, "Why, it seems like you've found a friend already!" the fossil yipped, as the Gyarados felt something land gracefully on her forehead. "What!" The Gyarados sounded excited, "Where?" Gyarados turned her head looking in all direction, only to find no one. "They're on top of your forehead!" Amor giggled. "What?" Gyarados tried using the clear water around her like a mirror to see her own reflection. But, the Pokémon was so small, that it was difficult to make out its image in that constantly moving water... "It's a new kind of Pokémon! It's shaped like a small fly but has some similarities to a bee! Hi friend!" Amor called out, "Why don't you get off of Magi's forehead and let her get a good look at you, we promise not to harm you! But maybe you already know that, seeing as you've made yourself quite comfortable on my sister's head, she's quite the gentle soul isn't she?!" "If you wouldn't mind, we can get better acquainted with a friendly competition, we can have a quick race around the Isle," Amor said as Magi added, "Oh, that sounds like a wonderful idea! Amor can run, you can fly and I'll swim, what do you say? Sounds like fun right!?" Isle Aplenny: (Dropping off a Spelon Berry with my Beautifly and a Pamtre Berry with my Buttfree, to plant!) As Free, a sensitive male counterpart to the beauty obsessed Beautifly, appropriately named Beauty, set out to plant the free sample seeds on to their nicely patted down soil. The two butterflies fluttered contently as their first day of gardening was coming to a close. "Nice weather for planting, isn't it Free?" The Beautifly blushes a tad, as the oblivious Butterfree unaware of the Bug/Flying Type's crush on him. "It sure is!" Nothing got the Butterfree going more than food. Even if it was food that wasn't ready to be harvested. As a Caterpie, you could say the story of the 'Hungry Caterpillar' was biased on him in many ways... "What do you think will come out of the stock? I hope their berries from my homeland!" The Beautifly said, her eyes sparkling as her fluorescent wings, casted warm colors on to the ground. "Hoenn sure is beautiful, I prefer Kanto, and the lush forest of Viridian myself. There are even rumors of a place similar to it in Kalos." Free said. "Then, why don't the two of us go there together. You could show me around." Beauty's cheeks continued to blush, causing her face to turn an orange-reddish color. "Well...I've never been, that's probably why we shouldn't." Free fluttered, turning his head to the side as he and Beauty picked up a bucket of water from the Well and began watering the soil. "Even better," Beauty added, "We can enjoy exploring a brand new place together! Wouldn't that be a wonderful memory to make together?" "I don't know..." Butterfree looked a little unsure of himself, "It is a long way to fly..." Smirking to herself, Beauty knew just what kinds of buttons to push to get her crush Free to agree, adding, "You know, I've heard Kalos has the best pastries in the world!" "Let's go!" Free enthusiastically said, causing Beauty to giggle as they sat waiting by the Well for their seeds to mature... Isle Aphun: The caves of the Isle of Aphun weren't as dark and scary as Liza's Pokémon had originally thought. Though one of them being a ghost, add to that, an eternal candle with a light source handy at all times, and you got the perfect Pokémon made for some spelunking! Lennox the Shiny Litwick came from a family whose father was a Gastly and whose mother was a Litwick, the two loved each other whole heartedly, but would spend much time apart. It wasn't a broken family however, each parent simply had an obligation to stay with their trainer's more than with each other. This divide was manageable because every other week, the siblings on the opposite side of the fence got to spend time with their other parents' team. While Lennox visited her father's team, Lennox would often times listen to the stories of a kooky Jellicent named Diego, stories of a time long forgotten. What was interesting about these stories was the joy of searching for lost or buried treasure, even when the treasure box contained nothing but junk. Jellicent would often say, "One man's trash, is another man's treasure!" Today, she decided was the perfect time to make her Uncle Diego proud, by bringing him the biggest piece of treasure she could find! There was just one problem...she had landed herself in front of a fork in the road. She did remember hearing that the best treasure was usually found at the furthest end of a cave. So her goal, no matter how improbable, was to get as far back as she could no matter the kind of temptation that presented it's on her way. "Nothing will stop me from getting to the end of this tunnel, straight ahead I go!" Lennox cheered. ~~~ Inside another cavity of the cave, Ivy Blue, the light blue, Shiny Corsola was having fun exploring the tunnels all around her. She did however discover something red poking out of the ground, but the item wasn't recognizable. She also didn't have much of a clue as to what would be considered valuable, seeing as even her trainer wasn't one to value things simply for their rarity. When Ivy Blue came into the picture, she found out that her trainer loved Corsolas so much she had already adopted a normal pink one to her team. Having hatched a Shiny, didn't change the fact Liza would keep or dismiss the Corsola she already owned, why the trainer said, "The more the merrier!" Often times, Ivy would hear her trainer discussing her Pokémon with other trainers, they would ask how she had gotten a hold of such a rare, super rare or even ultra-rare Pokémon and Liza would only shake her head at them. "Pokémon shouldn't be characterized that way." Liza would say to them, "Just because they happen to be that way, aren't the reason I have them, I just love them!" So, when the Shiny Corsola wondered what it should do, she decided to investigate what the mysterious object was that had been half way buried in the ground. Because no matter what it was, Ivy knew her trainer would appreciate anything she had brought with her, as a gift. Isle Evelup: It had been a long time since Epy got out, even more since his last training session. With all that time he had spent on the side lines, you would think he had let himself go, but no, instead he was resting and storing all his energy for just the perfect opportunity to go all out! Jumping into the water, Epy took off like a jet ski, kicking back water as he navigated his way around the aquatic obstacle course. The splashes of water, a refreshing sensation as he reflected on his reason to train! Sam has gotten a lot stronger in these last few years. Epy reminded himself, of his sister Charizard that at one point in time had found themselves at equal footing, but now, were miles apart when it came to skill and power. She has evolved to an even more powerful Pokémon, capable of Mega Evolution. If a time comes that I too can gain such power, I need to be ready for it! Faster and with more gusto Epy swam until he could no longer swim... As he rested on the stretch of sand, drinking his fruity complimentary drink, there was still a burning soul ready to keep training, "Look out Sam! You aren't the only one that's going to get stronger!" ~~~ Meanwhile, Bunnel the Bunnelby was digging his own work out regiment. Using his two, powerful ears, he was able to dig himself a labyrinth of tunnels, each sculpted and well-built as the last. To him, digging holes was an art, even more so, they needed to be carefully built so they didn't collapse on themselves. There was once a time that digging meant another thing entirely to the Digging Pokémon. In the forest he once called home, Bunnel had no companions to speak of. He would be startled by the slightest of noises, due to his very sensitive ears, even by friendly Pokémon that were only trying to be his friend. In the ground he would hide out of sight from everyone, sometimes even he didn't understand the reason why... However, for some reason, when a trainer would come up to the plate, Bunnelby wouldn't move when he was approached and when they tried catching him by challenging him to a battle, the bunny wouldn't flinch. Bunnel would take whatever came his way and fight! And boy was he strong, maybe a little too strong. Because even if Bunnel would win, what he really wanted was to join the human's team. What he wanted more than anything was to learn what it meant to be a part of something much greater than himself but with the trainer's team being wiped out, there was no point of capture. The day he met his trainer Liza, it so happened, Liza didn't engage Bunnel in a battle. Instead she accidentally spooked him as he was trying to reach for an Oran Berry hanging from a very tall Oran Berry tree. Startling him, he fell and bumped his head on a branch. Liza then took care of him until he regained consciousness but in the moments he experienced being surrounded by her and her team, he felt something different than he ever did in battle. He felt joy and love. There was no more reason to hide in a hole anymore, and even though he was approached before by friendly Pokémon or humans in the past, it didn't feel the same. He didn't know what it meant to belong somewhere until then. The following day Bunnel was all healed up, with Liza and her team waving in goodbye, Bunnelby grabbed the Lass by the hand and didn't let go. In that moment she knew what the Bunnelby was trying to tell her. Now, when he digs holes, he does so to adventure with his Pokémon companions, using the tunnels he makes for secret bases. With his workout course complete for the time being, Bunnelby sat enjoying a nice tropical drink alongside his companion Epy. There was still more to be done, as long as he kept training on behave of his trainer he was happy. Isle Avue: The Last Isle, the Isle of Avue was the last one Liza checked using her Poké Tube App... In the soothing hot springs, a Chikorita and the Exeggcute sextuplets seeds that resembled the likens of eggs, relaxed in the hot waters, calming whatever stressful thing they were dealing with. "So, Benedict," the Leaf Pokémon started off by saying, "We were added to the team around the same time, but to be perfectly honest with you, I don't know much about you. Tell me about yourself-selves?" "Well, we've been together for a long time!" One of the Exeggcute seeds began, when another interrupted, "How long, is a long time?" "I'd say a few months!" Another said. "Boy are your brains scrambled!" The one above that one interjected. "Like I was saying," the first one began again, "We've known each other for a long time...but we didn't necessarily hatch at the same time." "We didn't?" One Exeggcute pondered, while another added, "No!" "How did you all meet?" Chiko inquired. "This one to the left of me, got in major trouble!" "Nah uh!" One of the seeds responded. "Or was it...no, it most definitely was you! He had the bright idea of stealing a Beedrills colony's Honey and pinning it on a snoozing Snorlax." "The problem wasn't the Beedrill," a different Exeggcute said, "A swift Hyper Beam from Snorlax took care of the horde but once Snorlax noticed this one lone Exeggcute laughing...it went on a rampage..." "That's when me and that one happened to cross paths." A pair of Exeggcute's said while the other one continued on by saying, "We suddenly got a telepathic call for help!" "It was bizarre," the seed on the far back said, "We thought we were the only ones that could do something like that." "Then what happened?" Chiko looked intrigued by the funny Pokémon's responses. "We didn't know what to do, soon a strong psychic bond somehow gathered us all up!" The first seed said. "There was a flash and wham, we were stuck together like glue." Exeggcute all said in unison. Suddenly, the Chikorita found himself a little depressed and it showed. "What's the matter?" the sextuplets Exeggcutes all asked. "Nothing," Chikorita raised its head a little, his gaze looking at the steaming water around them, "Must be nice to have found each other, found Pokémon that you're a perfect match with..." "We are far from perfect, we get on each other's nerves all the time!" The Exeggcute exclaimed, "If we were simply one Pokémon that story wouldn't have dragged as much as it did!" They chuckled. "Oh?" The Grass Starter looked on a bit surprised by what had been said. "Still, in the end, the most important thing is that we have each other's backs." the Exeggcute paused for a moment, as they all looked at each before asking, "Is that what you're looking for?" "Sort of...I guess..." Chiko sighed, "I shouldn't be hung up on the way I was born but, when I was born, there was no trainer to welcome me into this world. I was so joyful at first but when I was met with no one, I grew sad and then, resentful. It didn't help that whenever a trainer or another Pokémon saw me, all they saw was a Female. While I didn't mind, it made things very complicated for me. Most people want a Female Chikorita, so they easily dismiss me. While Liza isn't like that, evident to the way she cares for me and has welcomed me. I have hard time trusting anyone, I just wish I could open up to someone who would understand..." "Well...we don't fully comprehend what you've gone through, but instead of reminding yourself of what you went through how about thinking about who you're with now! You're with us now, so cheer up!" Benedict said. "What?" Chiko looked surprised. "Cheer up! You're no longer alone and you might not be an Exeggcute, but we're more than happy to stick by your side any time!" The Exeggcute smiled. "Really?" Chiko suddenly looked happier with himself, "Hey, can you tell me something, what ended up happening with the Snorlax that was chasing after you?" "Oh- we split up and he couldn't chase even one of us down!" "Hahaha!" ~*~*~ Now, with some of the areas Liza had dropped Poké Beans into their crates having leveled up, the Lass trainer was allowed to drop off even more of her Pokémon to join in on the fun! With her Amaura and Gyarados having fun meeting new and exotic Pokémon on the Isle of Abeens, Liza decided to drop off two more Pokémon as to help with the welcoming committee. First off was her Panpour Bubbles, a blind sea monkey that had learned with the help of his trainer, the beauty of his other senses. Second, was her Kangaskhan, who was in desperate need of a vacation after watching her trainer's Pokémon while Liza went on her adventures. Liger the Shinx and Theo the Litleo would prove to be an interesting pair to explore the Isles of Aphun. With Liger's expert X-ray vision to help guide him, and Theo's delicate nose, who knew what kind of treasures those two cubs would be able to uncover! And with it being just the second day, Liza was able to collect yet another 80 Poké Beans as she distributed them among the island crates. Utilizing the beans as follows: 30 Poké Beans to the Isle of Abeens! 30 Poké Beans to the Isle of Aplenny! 10 Poké Beans to the Isle of Evelup! 10 Poké Beans to the Isle of Avue! Drew Guildford stared incredulously at his cousin. “You know, I honestly can’t tell at this point if you’re actually serious or just making stuff up.” Drew’s cousin shrugged, but before he could answer a beeping sound injected itself into the conversation. Not seconds later, the beeping was overshadowed by the sounds of a big band coming from Drew’s cousin’s pocket. Startled at the sound, but with a grin on his face as he recognized the ringtone, Drew’s cousin pulled his phone out. “Hey, I got to get this. You mind?” Drew looked up from his Pokédex, which seemed to be the source of the earlier beeping. “Hm? Oh, no man, take your time.” Nodding his thanks, Drew’s cousin accepted the call as he headed outside for some privacy. Drew could hear him ask “Hey Lils, what’s up?” before he was out of hearing range. Turning his attention back to his Pokédex, it seemed to Drew that the beeping was some sort of notification. Evidently, it was time for him to check on his team and assign some beans… ------- Isle Abeens Following her companion’s declaration, Sahara found herself almost surprised at the lack of shenanigans spontaneously occurring as if to spite them. The Hippopotas chuckled softly to herself at her slight paranoia. ”I guess I really am too used to being around the others.” Nearby, she could hear Salazar’s breathing level out as he began to lightly doze, coiled on a rock *just* high enough to stay out of the water. Approaching him, the hippo sat herself a short distance from the snake, as per his suggestion. She’d have probably sat closer and perhaps napped as well, had the rock Salazar slept on been big enough for the both. As it was, the rock wasn’t, so Sahara was forced to sit by her lonesome. Minutes passed in a hush, broken only by the soothing noise of the tide. Unfortunately, it didn’t seem enough for the hippo, who despite herself started to grow antsy, her earlier nervous energy still thrumming steady through her. As much as she wanted to relax, she needed to do something to calm herself if she wanted to enjoy this little vacation. Pondering what she could do, the perfect idea hit her: a stroll around the island. If she took it gently, she could calm herself and get to see some more of this beautiful island. Sahara nodded to herself. Yes, that would definitely work. Getting to her feet, the Hippopotas began to plod along the coastline. As she’d hoped, it seemed to do the trick. While she was still hesitant about venturing closer to the beanstalk, overall she felt much calmer. Plus, the island really was beautiful to see, a canvas of greens, browns, pink, and blue. Sahara stopped suddenly. Pink? Turning back to where she’d seen the different color, Sahara spied a Pokémon a short distance away, a plant-like thing with large pink eyes and a shock of green hair. Sahara wasn’t quite sure what it was doing. Maybe trying to blend in and hide? If so, the colors didn’t seem to help. Regardless, the Pokémon and Sahara made eye contact. Both stared at the other in an awkward pause until Sahara blinked, breaking the moment. Curious, and not as nervous with only the one Pokémon present, Sahara crept slowly toward the plant-like Pokémon. ”U-um, hello? I, I just happened to notice you, and wondered what you might be doing. My name’s Sahara, by the way.” A thought seemed to occur to the hippo and she started, embarrassed. If her tail had been any longer, it wouldn’t have been surprising if it had gone between her legs. ”O-oh, I might be bothering you… I didn’t think… I could just go if you’d rather not be bothered…” Nerves returning slowly, the hippo waited for some sort of response. Elsewhere on the Isle, Salazar’s light snoring broke off with a sudden snorting noise that had anyone heard, the snake would’ve denied happened. Blinking awake, the Ekans drowsily looked around for his companion. ”Hm,” he mutters, ”I didn’t actually think she’d go off on her own. Good on her.” Punctuating his musing with a little nod, Salazar gave a toothy yawn and coiled back up. He didn’t think he’d nap again, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t lounge in this comfy sunning spot. ------- Isle Aplenny ”Well,” Rossiter huffed, ”how do we start then?” Before Rossiter could blink, the Yanma beside him flitted over to where the seed samples were and back, seed packets in hand for the both of them. ”I would assume, my prickly friend, that we’d use these given our own lack of berries to plant.” The Maractus rolled his eyes but accepted his packet without complaint. For the next several moments the two planted and watered their seeds in quiet. Rossiter found that his prickly arms made an effective if crude trowel. Chess, with his slim legs, had a harder time, though his speed more than made up for it as he finished first. When both were done, the pair retreated to the well, one exceedingly patient and the other less so. After a few more moments of silence, Rossiter spoke up. ”You want to play rock, paper, scissors?” Chess side-eyed the Maractus, but soon enough rolled his eyes and raised a fist to play. ------- Isle Aphun Though the pair entered the cavern together, each with torch in hand or paw, it didn’t take long for the two to become separated. Almost immediately, a glimmer in one of the cave walls captured Lexi’s attention. Enraptured by the shiny object, the Purrloin drifted closer. Stuck in the wall as it was, Lexi couldn’t really figure out what the object might have been, but that didn’t deter her. It was shiny, and she was on a treasure hunt, basically, so obviously this was something she should investigate further, right? Satisfied with her logic and uncaring about the potential of living up to stereotypes of cats and curiosity, Lexi propped her torch against the cave wall in preparation of prying the object out. Privately, the cat quietly mourned the state that her nails would surely be in after this, but she figured she was owed some pampering for agreeing to this ordeal anyway. Lexi gripped the object as best she could and was just about to give a great yank when a thought occurred to her: Sam had sure been quiet these last few moments. Sitting back, the cat looked around for any sign of the ghost only to find none. Lexi frowned at that, but, in the end, went back to the object. If she could get this out quickly, she could try to find her friend. Besides, how far could she have really gotten? Lexi nodded to herself at her solution and began to get to work prying the glinting object loose. Elsewhere in the cave, a ghost floated on, ignorant of the fact her companion had been left behind. Easily distracted as she was, Samael had quickly become focused on hunting for treasure and little else. She had failed to find anything in the entrance, to her dismay, so deeper she went. Unfortunately, there didn’t seem to be anything yet, as other than some interesting rocks nothing special stuck out to Samael. Soon enough her path opened into a small junction, offering three different paths to travel. Even with her torch the ghost couldn’t see very far down any path. “Which path to take?” the ghost quietly asked herself. Her gut instinct pointed to the left path, but then, she was dead, so evidently her gut instinct wasn’t perfect. “Well, since none of them stand out to me… Eeny, meeny, miny, moe…” Running through the nursery rhyme, pointing at each path in turn, Samael ended on the left path. Sam shrugged to herself and headed down that direction. “Left it is then.” ------- Isle Evelup Finishing his course, Arion collapsed onto the beach with a happy sigh. Already he could feel the always pleasant burn of muscles pushed to improve. To him, there wasn’t a better feeling in the world. Sipping a surprisingly lovely fruity drink, the Horsea looked up to the sky where that birdbrained bird was still going, having yet to successfully run the aerial course once. Arion hadn’t paid attention to the bird’s first attempts, focusing more on his own course, but after a while even he found it hard to ignore the bird’s growing aggravation as he was continually too slow. “OH COME ON!” As if on cue, the Murkrow let out a screech as he just missed the last target, running out of time and causing the course to reset for the umpteenth time. To Arion, the crow looked a hairs length from firing off one of his wide array of moves. As entertaining as that’d be, it’d also probably be cause for getting kicked out, which wouldn’t do. “Hey feathers!” Arion called up. “Can’t say I know jack about flying, but I don’t think that parts your problem. You’re letting yourself get all flustered at the thought of screwin’ up or failing again. Clear your mind and stop thinkin’ too hard. That should trim your time enough.” To Arion’s surprise, there wasn’t the snarky response he’d expected. Instead it seemed Korvéo might actually be taking his advice, which would be a first. It still seemed quick to judge, but maybe this was actually doing some good for the bird. It took a few more tries, but soon enough the Murkrow hit the last target and cleared the course. Almost immediately he headed for the ground, collapsing in a tired heap next to Arion. “What did I do to deserve this hell,” Korvéo muttered beak first into the ground. Arion rolled his eyes and hopped over with a blue drink. “Oh hush it, that wasn’t completely awful. At least for the last go. The rest you pretty much blew.” Turning the bird over, Arion poured the drink down Korvéo’s throat. The Murkrow’s eyes widened at the taste and the drink’s effects, feeling his aches fade away. “Man, what is that? That’s delicious.” “Some special energy drink thing,” Arion answered, unimpressed and already heading back to the water. “Do another round and you might get another.” Korvéo looked up at the sky course and groaned. ------- Flipping off the last camera feed, Drew was pretty satisfied with all his Pokémon. No one was dead or dying, which honestly was a win as far as he was concerned. Flipping to the bean page, Drew pondered what he should do. He’d definitely be sending 10 beans to Isle Evelup to finish its level up (mentally he did a little rimshot). For the remaining 70 though… “Well, I should probably send 30 to Isle Aplenny to even them up. Past that… I guess I’ll send 30 beans to Isle Abeens again, and the remaining 10 to Isle Aphun. I’ll finish that the next go round.” Happy with his decision, Drew slid his Pokédex back into his pocket and took a drink as he waited for his cousin to finish his phone call. [Member Post] [PC] $

"Mastermind, bring up Isle Abeens for a moment," Shadow requested, switching the view to Grim and Mango. The initial ambassadors he intended apparently had done their work; a Pokémon the scientist did not recognise had manifested on the island. It reminded him of an upright Spinarak, somehow wearing a bubble for a helmet, sort of crossing the line between Spinarak and Surskit. Grim, ever the dedicated and thoughtful de facto leader, was offering his diplomacy as Mango enthusiastically observed the exchange, but more importantly to Shadow it seemed the PokéBeans he assigned for development benefited the island. More plants emerged, ready to shower their bounty of beans on the island, hopefully drawing Pokémon in which he had never seen before. "Looks like we can deploy more operatives on Isle Abeens. Mastermind, have Factor the Umbreon to give Mango some backup. And while we're at it, sending Daphne the Drowzee wouldn't hurt either; her persuasive powers would definitely come in handy." Moving on, Shadow had a view of Isle Aphun brought up next. Despite the eyes on the ground, neither Ephidel nor Zoombini had located any prospective loot, but just as Abeens before it the cavernous landmark seemed to have opened up as a result of development. "Hm, we're going to need some tactical placements here. Mastermind, have Wukong the Chimchar back up Ephidel to go further into the cave with one of the torches. Sonar or no, Ephidel could use some light and another pair of eyes. Novawing the Charmeleon can go with Zoombini and help them lift the rocks and find out what's under there, before they go deeper into the cave." Finally there was Isle Avue. It had seemingly taken both bird operatives some time to get used to the idea of having a dip, but with nothing else to do they literally warmed up to the idea, lowering talons, tails and wings into the soothing soak. "Nothing wrong here, but it looks like there's a safety warning clause against overexposure and overheating. Mastermind, keep an electric eye out for them; help pull them out if they show any signs of discomfort. Hmm - we could send Mz. Moxy the Scraggy and Shania the Sneasel to replace them if need be." Before Shadow logged off for the moment, Mastermind indicated to him that 80 PokéBeans had been set aside again. "That's... actually rather generous," mused the scientist. "Mastermind, send 30 Beans to Abeens, 30 Beans to Aphun and 20 Beans to Avue, please. We'll stick with the same development plan until necessary."

Tim was sitting at home by himself with his Pokedex in hand. His roommate Leo was away having adventures with his Pokemon. He liked doing that. That seemed to be the reason he became a trainer in the first place. Tim on the other hand preferred to stay behind and look after his Pokemon. He'd go somewhere with them eventually, but right now most of his Pokemon were only little babies. He couldn't imagine bringing them to a haunted theme park or something. Of course, he couldn't imagine himself going to a Haunted Theme park either, and shuddered at the thought.
His Pokemon however seemed to be getting bored. Which is why he sent them all to Pokepelago in the first place. They could have the time of their lives, while Tim could watch them from the safety and comfort of his apartment. Isle Abeens First, Tim checked in on the Pokemon at Isle Abeens. Even though Leo was off on adventures, he did leave his Togetic behind so one of his Pokemon could get in on the Poke Pelago action. Even though they hadn't gone on many adventures together, Leo tended to spoil his Togetic rotten ever since he adopted her. Tim decided to send her to the Island full of Pokebeans along with Lana, his Chinchou. The two Pokemon were strangers to one another, and didn't interact with each other at all. Instead, Angela the Togetic flitted about the island seeking attention from other Pokemon. She paraded around the isle showing off, and putting her beauty that she obtained from numerous trips to the salon to good use. Lana on the other hand, preferred to relax and enjoy the moment. The female Chinchou casually floated in the water without a care in the world. She was a Water type after all, so of course she would be drawn to going swimming. Isle Aphun It was a much different situation on Isle Aphun. His Spritzee and Snubbull were chatting away amongst themselves, although there opinions about their situation seemed to differ. "Oh, the horror of it all! I can't believe he sent me to explore a dark and dingy cave!" Coco, the female Spritzee protested. "It's probably really gross and disgusting in there! And who knows what kind of creatures could be lurking waiting to pounce on me when I least expect it!" Paris the male Snubbull seemed to be more enthusiastic about this adventure, even though you really couldn't tell that by the look on his face, "Aw, come on Coco! Where's you're sense of adventure?!" "Somewhere other than here..." The Spritzee replied. "Why oh why couldn't he have sent us to that island with the Hot Springs! That sounds heavenly! My feathers could use a good soak." Paris and Coco had come from the same trainer, so Paris knew his fellow Fairy type quite well. He knew what to say to get her excited about exploring a cave. "You know, there could be treasure in there!" Coco tilted her head. Her interest was now piqued. "Treasure? You mean like potentially beautiful sparkling things could be waiting for us?" Paris shrugged. "Who knows. But we're never gonna find out if we don't go in!" At the thought of finding beautiful gemstones, she immediately forgot all about her concerns with going into the cave. Coco immediately took Paris by his arm, and ran into cave. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's find that treasure!" Paris smirked as best as his little Snubbull face would allow. Isle Evelup Finally, a lone Axew stood by himself on Isle Evelup sharpening his tusks on some convenientally placed rocks. Tim wished he could have sent another Pokemon along with him to keep him company, but since he had an odd number of Pokemon available, that wasn't possible. Spike the Axew had no problem being by himself. He couldn't wait to get to that Gym and show his stuff. Of course, at this point, he really didn't have much stuff to show. The reason Tim sent him there was because he needed leveling up badly. He was only level 1, and his only move was Scratch. Even though Tim himself didn't care much for violence, he knew Spike liked to fight, and would likely hurt himself if he tried to pick a fight with someone bigger than himself. He needed to be able to defend himself properly. That, and he knew Spike would enjoy himself there. --- After checking in on his Pokemon, the last thing Tim needed to deal with was where to invest these Poke Beans. Secretly, Tim wanted to taste one of these beans for himself, but he knew that wasn't their purpose. In the end, he decided to invest 20 Beans in Isle Abeens, 40 Beans in Isle Aphun, and the remaining 20 Beans in Isle Evelup. --- In conclusion Angela the female Togetic and Lana the female Chinchou on Isle Abeens. Investing 20 Pokebeans Paris the male Snubbull and Coco the female Spritzee on Isle Aphun. Investing 40 Pokebeans Spike the male Axew on Isle Evelup. Investing 20 Pokebeans $

Isle Abeens (Lv.1 + 30/30 Poké Beans) Devonian the Relicanth♂ and Haykhong the Slugma♂ While Haykhong, being a Fire-type, stays as far away from the shore as possible, Devonian thrives in it. The Ancient Pokémon is taking it easy still, swimming lazily along the shoreline. A glance at the beanstalk reveals it’s growing and it’s already attracting wild Pokémon too. But, Devonian thinks, that is a matter for Haykhong to look into. He himself has noticed bubbles rising to surface of the water close to a few rocks. Being part Rock-type himself it’s a terrain he’s quite familiar with and this Devonian decides to inspect the phenomenon and find out what’s causing it. Back on land, Haykhong is enjoying a Poké Bean he had just personally knocked down from the stalk when he sees another Pokémon approaching the fallen Poké Beans too. Getting slightly annoyed by the presence of this weird looking creature already, Haykhong quickly finishes his Bean and slithers towards this new Pokémon to find out what the heck it is doing here. Isle Aplenny (Lv.1 + 0/30 Poké Beans) Fae the Beautifly♀ and Flabébé♀ Fae and Flebébé meanwhile make good use of the sample package of Berry seeds provided to them. The two share a love for flora and work together peacefully on growing the seeds into strong, fruit bearing Berry Trees. “Flabébé,” Fae starts, “I will prepare the ground for planting dear, if you would be so kind to plant the seeds than I will water them after you.” “Of course,” Flabébé replies, “and together we will make these seeds grow into beautiful sprouts! I’m so excited to be here! I love being in nature like this, taking care of new plants and seeing them grow is so much fun!” Fae giggles, “It sure is, and I’m happy to take you under my wing and teach you all about it. Did you know Rowan has a lot of exotic plants and flowers at home? They all have very specific needs to truly get the best out of them. It is a lot of work for me alone, so I’m happy to have an apprentice.” Hearing that brings a bright smile on Flabébé’s face and a twinkle in her eyes. The young Fairy-type has a lot of questions for Fae and the Beautifly is happy the answer them while the two tend to the Berry garden. Isle Aphun (Lv.1 + 30/30 Poké Beans) Roshi the Dwebble♂ and Zwart the Seviper♂ Roshi and Zwart look at the entrance of the cave in front of them. [I]”I’m going in, you’re coming with me? I’m so curious to find out how deep this cave runs and what treasures it hold. I’m sure the boss will love some valuables for the base,” Roshi says to Zwart. “For ssssure he will like that, “ Zwarts lisps in reply. That answer is enough for the Dwebble to walk off into the cave and Zwart is about to follow him when a glint of silver in the corner of his eye catches his attention. The Seviper turns his head to check out what it glittering but Roshi gets impatient with his friend, “Are you coming Zwart? I don’t know what you’re looking at but the real riches are inside.” ”Yesss yess,” Zwart replies and turns his attention back to Roshi and the cave, ”Letsss go.” The two make their way deeper into the cave together, hoping to find something of great value for the Big Boss, though Zwart can’t help but think about the glittering thing he left behind. Isle Evelup (Lv.1 + 20/30 Poké Beans) Quad the Roggenrola♂ and Ambros the Aron♂ Various grunting noises can be heard over Isle Evelup. Quad and Ambros are following their personal, rigorous training programs. The two Rock-types are made to work hard, sandbags are being pushes, sticks are being dodges. The intense training leaves both of them exhausted and gasping for a well-deserved drink. “Man that was hard,” Ambros starts while sipping his cocktail, “I can’t remember for the life of me when the last time was that I had to work so hard. The usual daycare is a lot more relaxed. But I have to say, I enjoyed it, and this drink has been worth it. It’s delicious!” ”You know what your problem is, you’re too weak. I had no problem with my workout, easy-peasy,” Quad boasts ”But I can understand, not everyone can be as tough as me. It was a nice bit of exercise though, I can feel the power surging through me.” Ambros rolls his eyes, he’s enjoying his drink too much to be annoyed by the Roggenrola’s boasting. And Quad does have a point, he too feels he’s getting stronger. ”Just enjoy your drink Quad, if we want to get stronger we’ll have to get our energy back before round two starts.” And with that Quad takes a sip of his drink too, all the bragging aside, he too needs to replenish his energy. He’s exhausted. Isle Avue (Lv.1 + 0/30 Poké Beans) Leviathan the Gyarados♂ and Sylphbane the Honedge♂ At Isle Avue there is nothing but silence. Leviathan, already fond of water, really enjoys the relaxing warmth the island offers him. The stress build up in his body from all the training is sliding off him like snow off a steep cliff. He could literally soak here for hours. Sylphbane seems to enjoy the spa treatment too but as always, there is little reaction or movement from the Ghostly Sword. Back at home, Rowan is thinking about what to do with the Pokébeans he has received and if he should do something with the current distribution of his Pokémon. It doesn’t take him too long to conclude that the right Pokémon are still at the right place, at least for now. And he quickly finds a good way to distribute his beans too. “With my Pokémon staying where they are, I’ll send 30 Beans to Isle Abeens, 30 Beans to Isle Aphun, 10 Beans to Isle Evelup and 20 Beans to Isle Aplenny." Rowan scrolls to the app one last time and sees it’s all good, but as he is about to close it, an idea pops up in his head, “I still have some Pokémon in Daycare that don’t really have to be there, maybe they would like a change of pace too in the Poké Pelago. I’ll send my Roggenrola Lalu and my Rhyhorn Graw to Isle Abeens, and I’ll send my Whimsicott Lilith to join her friends in Isle Aphun.” $

Isle Abeens (Lv.1 + 50/30 Poké Beans) Sheen Estevez the Slakoth♂ and Boogy the Surskit♂ “Puppy! Omg! Omg! Sooo adorable! I want it now! I WANT IT” Leonidas was excited to see what his friend Boogy has met. He basically wants to jump through the poketube app himself to greet the cute puppy. Everyone loves puppies! Sheen might be calm as ever, or maybe aloof at everything around him. He patiently sits there, observing how the beanstalk has grown in size to the point that he needs to look waaay up in order to enjoy the full view. Boogy by his corner has made a new friend, a puppy completely unfamiliar to the trainer. It is something he has never seen before, and it looks too damn adorable to pass up. Boogy skirts across to the puppy and greets him in a friendly manner. Adding another pokemon to the mix, Leonidas deposits Webby the Joltik to join in on the fun. Just to add extra spice Sluggie the Slugma also joins in on the fun as he is deposited for the adventure time. Let’s see what these four little rascals can do together. Isle Evelup (Lv.1 + 30/30 Poké Beans) Puka the Pichu♀ and Lantern the Volbeat♂ “Wow, I wouldn’t survive half a minute in there, that training camp looks very intense for my liking.” Puka is enjoying he training session. She isn’t much of a fighter, so putting her in this intensive camp for training might wake up a fighting spiriting within her. Leonidas worries that she might become too aggressive, though from what he can see she is just having silly fun with the booty camp. Lantern doesn’t seem to mind the training either, taking a liking to the environment. Lantern bumps his head with Puka, signaling his friend to head back and train. Before closing the app, Leonidas collects his eighty pokebeans. Right now he doesn’t know where to distribute them to, so he randomly places them. Isle Aphun (Empty) "I think it is about time I explore this island. Let me see who I can deposit. Hmm, I have the right choices in mind." Leonidas off the bat picks Licky the Lickitung and Leafcopter the Hoppip to be left here and explore. They go their separate ways, trying to find the entrance of the cave. "I will check on them later, see if they bring anything back with them. Crossing my fingers!" He pulls out his handy dandy notebook to make sure he doesn’t forget a thing. This would be a good time to deposit beans once again. Isle Abeens: Slakoth (Sheen Estevez), Surskit (Boogy), Joltik (Weeby) & Slugma (Sluggie) with 20 pokebeans. Isle Evelup: Pichu (Puka) & Volbeat (Lantern) with 30 pokebeans. Isle Aphun: Lickitung (Licky) & Hoppip (Leafcopter) with 30 pokebeans. “I think I'm going to close the app until later. Toodooloo my friends.” ~~ [Profile] [PC] $

Finally arriving home Tess plops down in her favourite comfy chair and immediately opens her newly updated Pokédex to the new Pokétube App that everybody is talking about. She's always wanted to be surrounded by many Pokémon but has feared expanding her team any further because she doesn't like the idea of them sitting in limbo in her PC which is why she much prefers to keep most of her Pokémon here at home in her secret base, rotating them regularly so no one Pokémon is left alone for too long a time. But if this news is true then she'll no longer need to worry. If anything, her Pokémon may even be happier in the PC than hanging around the base. She needs to see it for herself though, so has transferred several of her Pokémon into the cyber realm and eagerly logs into her account where she's able to check in on them as often as she likes.
The app loads slowly which isn't a great surprise considering how many trainers will be logging into the system in these early release days, but when it does Tess is greeted by the recorded message of a man named Mohn who is in charge of keeping the Poké Pelago running. The next couple of minutes comprise mostly of Mohn explaining how things work, and giving a rundown of each of the islands. As he's talking Tess can imagine exactly which areas would suit which of her Pokémon and she finds herself becoming more excited about this new and innovative area. Tess nods as Mohn finishes up, pretty sure she's got the gist of what it's all about, and clicks on the arrow button to proceed. A moment later a small island labelled Isle Abeens pops up. Mostly grass and sand with a small beanstalk in its centre, even Tess thinks it looks inviting. She wouldn't mind visiting herself, but humans are banned so she's happy knowing her Pokémon at least have a nice space to run around in. She can see several Pokémon on screen, most belonging to other trainers, but it's the very familiar Girafarig and Lapras that has her smiling at the screen. They look wonderful, but most importantly happy, and who better to greet a prospective new team mate than her very own starter Pokémon, Jaffa, alongside the gentle and loving Nessie who is quite the mother figure to all of Tess' team. "Enjoy yourselves", Tess whispers, clicking the Poké Bean icon on screen. Leaving 30 Poké Beans in the crate she moves on to the next screen, already looking forward to checking in on them both tomorrow. Next up is an island labelled Isle Aplenny. It's clear this island is designed for harvesting crops, and while it currently seems that only a third of it looks ready for planting Tess isn't too concerned. Taking a closer look she can see Minoru the Bayleef and Kayla the Kirlia prepping the soil but even though Tess hasn't given them any berries to plant she's sure they'll find something. Tess doesn't even mind what they grow, so long as they have fun doing it. "Take care," she says, clicking the Poké Bean icon and placing 10 Poké Beans into the crate before moving on to the next screen. Isle Aphun is next, and is certainly one of the more appealing islands. Again Tess finds herself wishing she were there, but this area is for Pokémon only so she'll need to sit on the urge to go caving anytime soon. The cave looks small, even to her, but it's apparently quite popular and goes far deeper than it first appears. She hopes there is nothing dangerous down there, she'd never forgive herself if anything happened to her Pokémon, but she's confident this island wouldn't be so highly advertised if it were a danger to visiting Pokémon. This is why she's sending two of her veteran team members in. Tempest and Thunder, the Houndoom and Pikachu are both experienced, nimble, and able to provide themselves with their own source of light if needed. Perfectly able to take care of themselves if they find themselves in trouble Tess is confident they'll both also enjoy themselves. "God speed," Tess murmurs, placing 30 Poké Beans into the crate and moving on to the next screen. A desert island labelled Isle Evelup is up next. It looks gruelling and Tess bites her lip, worried that Tepig and Litleo might not yet be up for it. "Don't be ridiculous," she chides herself, "of course they can do it!" She squints at the screen, watching the two Pokémon scurry about the island checking out the courses and equipment available to them. They both seem excited and again Tess feels guilty for worrying. Deep down she knows it's only her over-protective instincts kicking in that are making her worry, not that she doubts they are capable. She just doesn't like to see them hurt and she knows their training is going to induce all kinds of pain. Part of her wants to watch so she can pull them out of there if they need her, but her sensible half pulls her away from the screen. "Good luck!" she says to the screen even though she knows they cannot hear her. Clicking the Poké Bean icon Tess places 10 Poké Beans in the crate and moves on. Finally coming into view is Isle Avue. Mmm, this is what it's all about. If only humans were allowed here.... Tess sighs, wondering if she should book herself a nice pamper weekend away at the spa... Massages, saunas, spas, more massages.... But back to the present and Tess can see Chandelure floating happily on the steaming waters surface while Smoochum sits on the side, dipping her feet in. Not really sure if the ice-type will enjoy the warm water Tess figures there's only one way to find out and crosses her fingers, hoping for the best. Tapping the screen with a "see you soon", Tess closes the app and stares at her Pokédex for a few minutes. So far everything is looking good, let's hope this new Pokémon resort is all is hyped up to be. $

The moon was still out as Ethan, a young retrieve specialist made his way towards his secret base on the outskirts of Seaside City. As he opened the front door he wasn't greeted by anyone in particular as all his Pokémon had long since gone to sleep. Even passing by the kitchen the young man didn't feel any need to eat, being too exhausted to even think of food at such an ungodly hour and quickly made his way to his bedroom where he collapsed on to his large mattress and kicked off his shoes. He hadn't even turned on any source of light, being accustomed to the darkness and the moon light providing enough illumination to see around his surroundings, but just about when he was starting to fall asleep a ghostly voice called out to him... "Ethan...oh Ethan..." the deep, velvety dark voice called out in the midst of the night, the soothing sound causing the trainer to fall into a deeper sleep... "EARTH TO ETHAN!" The voice then proceeded to yell, "WAKE UP!" A ghostly sphere of gas suddenly emerged from out of the shadows and quickly turned on a nearby lamp on top of the nightstand next to the bed. The instant source of light blinding the trainer as he recoiled into his bed sheets for cover. "I know you can hear me!" The Gastly said as he threw the sheets his trainer was using as shelter onto the floor. "Come on James! It's been a long day, can't it wait till morning!?" The trainer whined. "No." James said as he grabbed a half-broken Pokédex from off of the nearby desk and handed it to his trainer, "There's a reason why the base is so quiet, a good portion of your Pokémon are away on the Poké Pelago Islands, you need to check up on them to see how they're doing." "Can't I do it later?" The trainer continued to whine, as he grabbed the sheets from off of the floor and wrapped himself comfortably in them, turning off the lamp and turning his back on his Pokémon. "It'll only take a moment, you don't even have to go on your computer, just use the app that's already been pre-downloaded on to your Pokédex." James held out the Pokédex. "Fine, but then I'm off to sleep the rest of the day away." Ethan reached for the Pokédex as he tapped on the Poké Tube App. -- Isle Abeens: Serena the sweet-natured Togepi was having the time of her life riding on top of Voltaire the jolly Jolteon, Faster Volt! the egg-shell Pokémon trilled happily as the yellow lightning bolt, bolted every which way, zigzagging his way across the large island where a large Beanstalk grew as beautiful multi colored beans lay scattered across the ground. Hold on to my fur if you don't want to find yourself flying off! the Jolteon cried out to the baby Pokémon on his back, when suddenly Serena noticed a Pokémon a wee bit on the down side, Stop Volt! Serena commanded as the Jolteon did as he was told, What's the matter Serena? It looks like we've stumbled upon a new type of Pokémon and they don't exactly look like they're having much fun... Togepi said sounding rather disheartened, I know! she said sounding more upbeat, Let's go see if they wouldn't mind playing with us?! Off tottering on her own the baby went as Voltaire tried warning her against it, You don't know if they're friendly! You can't just approach them without being cautious! but the Togepi didn't listen to a word her companion said, instead she went on her own and met up with the Koala Pokémon and introduced herself, Hi there! she trilled, My name is Serena and that there is Voltaire, we come from a nice trainer named Ethan who has sent us here for some time to play! What's your name? But Serena didn't seem to get a response back, instead she realized the Pokémon was in a real deep state of slumber. Jolteon approached closer, sniffing the log and the Pokémon that it belonged to as he analyzed the situation, It's dead. He declared to the shock of Serena who responded, No it's not, they're just sleeping! Somehow though, I get the feeling they won't wake up... Jolteon began chuckling to itself before saying, Sort of reminds you about our trainer, Ethan doesn't it? When he's sleeping. To this Serena also began to giggle, before sighing, There has to be a way to wake it up, or at least so they can play with us...but how? Oh I know! Jolteon said, Whenever Ethan is sleeping and James needs to ask him something, James always begins to talk to him through his dream! Ethan thinks he's awake while he responds to James and James is able to communicate with our trainer without having to wake him up. We can do something like that... Serena said as she and Jolteon made themselves comfortable around the drowsing Pokémon, Listen to the sound of our voices okay? Serena began, We're on an island and we're going to play tag... Meanwhile, off in the distance two more Pokémon could be seen being transported to the tropical Beanstalk Isle! "Flabébé!" a rosy red flower drifted on the wind, which was soon accompanied by a cry of a *Shiny* eagle, "Rufflet!" Isle Apleeny: Jumango was given a single berry (Sitrus Berry 1/10) to plant by his trainer before sending him away to garden. He was told explicitly that, that was the only berry he would get and that if he ate it, there would be no way for him to grow his own. Right away Jumango had a dilemma on his paws, if he ate the berry, his belly would right away be satisfied with the consumption of a yummy fruit. But, if he did so, he would lose the opportunity to grow more...but if he waited, it would take much longer before he saw the fruits of his labor and it was much easier to scratch an inch than it was to do back-breaking work. Easy friend, the brave and strong Pignite patted the back of the glutton Pokémon, If you resist your temptation, you'll find a much larger reward at the end of the road. Emmett said holding onto the berry his trainer had given him. That's easier for you to say, the Munchlax went on to say but was having trouble concentrating on his companion and instead kept eyeing the piece of fruit (Lum Berry 1/10) the Pignite was holding. I can't help give in to my hunger...I just want to eat everything I see, I even dream about scrumptious foods and find myself waking up in the morning having eaten most of the food in the kitchen. Gardening is a lesson in patience, much like battling is a method we use for growth, you don't always jump into a fight arms swinging, sometimes you have to wait for the perfect opportunity to strike. Alright, I guess I'll give this gardening thing a try... Jumango got up and began planting the berry into the soil. Just think, Emmett said planting his own berry before picking up a bucket of water from the well, pouring it on to the soil, By the time we're done we'll have something we have raised ourselves to eat! Won't that be glorious! Isle Aphun: Diego felt like he was a hundred years younger, back in the days where the romance of pirates ruled the seven seas! It was a good feeling to be alive even if his body wasn't what it used to be, Jellicent still had that same old spirit that conquered a many a treasure and there was always room for more! He was quickly reminded as he entered the cave of those times, the old spirits of his dead crew still haunting him, "Captain! We've arrived at an impasse! Or more accurately, in a road that breaks into 3 different paths and the map doesn't tell us a thing of which one will lead us to our booty! Or more accurately, treasure!" "We should split up!" one voice suggested. "What if we choose a path that leads to nothing! Will we be able to turn back?" another said. "No, no, no! The Captain has to be the one to find the box of loot!" "Silence!" Captain Diego's voice rang loud and clear in the mysterious cave. Quietly the Jellicent concentrated, when suddenly his mustache began to twitch to the left! "There!" Diego declared, "That's where the treasure lies!" Meanwhile... Adam was content to be in his own element again, he's diamond encrusted eyes allowing him a crystal clear picture of he's surroundings. There wasn't much to see however, the rocks around the entrance of the cave weren't tasty at all as the little purple ghoul found out but as it so happened he came across what looked like a shiny white ball, he was sure he had seen something like it once before but found the thing not to be quite as appetizing... Instead Adam thought it would be better just to see what other interesting things he could find deeper into the cave. Back at the entrance two dark and ominous silhouettes made their appearance, one of a Shadow Jolteon, whose electricity crackled with negative energy and that of a Pumpkaboo who's hallow circles began to light it's path... Isle Evelup: El Toro Fuerte jumped into the ring with an elegant flare that instantly caused any of the on lookers to watch on in awe and amazement! The Hawlucha soon began pumping up the crowd as he threw his talons up into the air and commanded applause and cheer, "Hawlucha! Hawlucha!" Whereas his opponent, the ever calculating Professor Xavier was analyzing his foe for weak points to exploit. And while it would've been easier for the Ralts to read what his foe was about to do, he rather use his cerebro to plan out how he could effectively take out his opponent in a number of moves. Feeling pumped Hawlucha faced his opponent and when the hawk heard the sudden ring of the bell up he soared! Jumping high in the air, his wings being caught by the wind, making him look like a superhero in flight! The Fighting/Flying Type soon slammed his full weight onto the Psychic/Fairy Type, hard! The crowd was silent, was that all the professor could do? Wait, what's this? After the dust settled, El Toro Fuetre realized too late that his foe had disappeared before the impact and as instinct told him, found Xavier had used Teleport to get a safe distance away but also calculated to get at a perfect position behind the hawk where Xavier bought himself enough time to concentrate on his own attack! Blasting Hawlucha with a strong Confusion attack! The wrestler Detected the Psychic move and jumped away just in the nick of time, but found himself in the middle of the arena surrounded by clones of his opponent, with nowhere to run. Ralts had used Double Team! Everything seemed to be going just like the Ralts had predicted, Hawlucha looked worried at first before Honing his Claws in order to think of a solution on which of the clones was the real one and in a beautiful display of fighting spirit, punched the ground, using the static from his Thunder Punch to send a surge of electricity to erase the fakes! The fight was only beginning and no one on either corner had gathered a lead. The bell rang for the closure of the first round where both fighters took to their respective corners to drink a nice refreshing tropical drink. Isle Avue: Dave wasn't someone Ethan was easily capable of reading. The stern look on the large, ancient tortoise's face was the only expression that the trainer really knew. What made Carracosta tick? What sort of things made him happy? Sad or angry? No one knew as he would just observe what the other Pokémon did around him and not partake in any sort of festivities. What no one knew however was that Carracosta was simply out of his element, the way the world once was wasn't what he found in today's day and age. He felt uncomfortable and sometimes out-of-place. That could also be said for the Ice Glacier Egg that Ethan had found in an Icy Cave about a month prior. The egg pertaining to a time that Woolly Mammoths roamed the earth and the world was still in a cold tundra! Swinub, whom should have been born a million so years before, during a time his fur covered body would have lived comfortably but with recent warm climates melting the Ice Caps, found that the weather now a days was too hot to handle... Lucky the spa on the island was different and he quite contently snorted out a happy piglet oink! With two such ancient creatures, there was no range of depth of the kinds of wistful things they could speak about. "So," Dave began, "Ash should've become a Champion of a league by now." "Swin!" Moogles oinked, "When hell freezes over!" Truly, truly insightful stuff. -- Back at the base... "See," James said, "That's wasn't so bad, right?" When the ghost didn't get a response back James took a closer look at his trainer who after finishing with what needed to be taken care of, had fallen straight to sleep. Snoring and drooling the night away. Not wanting to disturb his trainer's slumber, James tucked Ethan into bed and turned off the lamp, allowing the moonlight to seep through the curtains and fill the darkened space. "They have access to the Poké Pelago?!" Tate balked, incredulous. Lounging in a battered hammock suspended from two gnarled Pinap trees, the night dark except for the glow of a turquoise Pokédex's flickering screen, the young student had been preparing to rest for the night, when an unexpected notification distracted from the the process of decompressing. Lo and behold -- an ad for the Poké Pelago! The island resort just for Pokémon -- accessible via the global Pokédex network, the Pokémon Storage System, and Poké Ride -- was a premier attraction on the Alolan Islands. Locals and tourists alike were eager to give their Pokémon constructive activities, so that they would not be bored during long periods of downtime. Letting Kai enjoy the hot springs was one of the things which Tate had been looking forward to, prior to their ill-fated voyage.
It was nearly unbelievable. Tate was curious. It was through the official global network which served the Pokédex database and Storage System -- it had to be legit, right? Curiosity quickly dominated skepticism. Perhaps an exploration was order. Tate looked down at the foot end of the hammock, where Kahakai was curled up and sleeping. Tate couldn't send her; being without her was too freaky of an idea. Hmm. They had acquired new teammates recently, and at something of an alarming pace. It was honestly exhausting, trying to keep up with five Pokémon. Perhaps the others -- Kukuee, Manaolana, Nani, and Pele -- could be sent off to play for a while, until Tate established better bearings on the situation at hand. It was the official Poké Pelago, after all. What could go wrong? --- --- --- --- --- --- Kukuee the Doduo & Manaolana the Dedenne @ Isle Abeens Manaolana was, in the most literal sense, a failure. Obtained by Tate for the sole purpose of contacting the outside world, by all accounts he had been unable to establish a connection with any radio service to speak of. It had been days of grueling instruction, repeated attempts, and more than a few frustrated tears. Neither easily discouraged nor easily moved to emotion, Manaolana was nonetheless exhausted by the experience. Finding himself, then, on a lush tropical island covered in beanstalks bearing delicious, crispy fruit was incredibly welcome... until he realized whom he was with: Kukuee. Typically, the two brains of a Doduo form of a symbiotic sort of hive mind. It is in this way that they are able to survive, and thrive. Kukuee never established a true symbiosis. Her two heads -- known separately as Ku and Kue -- bickered and fought against each other in most situations, making every task an ordeal. There was only a handful of things regarding which they were typically on the same page... and one of them was food. Upon finding herself surrounded by lush foliage and tasty treats, she scampered off to begin gorging herself, two heads occasionally colliding over a Poké Bean and squabbling loudly over a morsel. Sampling a couple of beans himself, Manaolana found them to be quite scrumptious, but not worth fighting over. Nani the Machop & Pele the Torkoal @ Isle Aphun Nani had been told a great many things about Alola by her trainer, and it all sounded truly magical. A bit self-conscious, she was more feminine than her appearance might suggest, and she enjoyed things which were not befitting a stereotypical Machop. In the same hand, however, she did enjoy things such as hand-to-hand combat and body building, which alienated her from many human trainers which she otherwise might find common ground. In truth, she was really quite lonely. She largely just wanted someone to like her for whe she was, rather than an idea of what she should be. The prospect of visiting the Poké Pelago -- which had been built up to be nearly mythical in proportion by her enthusiastic trainer, was very exciting. However, when Nani arrived only to find she had been assigned to what appeared to be a rock quarry, she felt forced into yet another box. Was she expected to do menial labor? Was that all she was good for? She felt demoralized, until Pele explained -- with an intimate understanding of geology and many truly impressive smoke displays -- that there were pretty stones, colorful shards, and all sorts of fantastic treasure in the cave. It would be fun, the Torkoal insisted, lackadaisically. Perhaps... they could give it a try, thought Nani, intrigued. --- --- --- --- --- --- It was difficult to see the fine details of their interactions on the small screen, but Tate was nonetheless excited to watch the Pokémon play. A small, colorful ticker in the corner of the display notified the trainer that 80 Poké Beans had been added to their account. Supposedly, patrons could trade beans for an upgraded experience. Noting that Nani looked a little melancholy -- as she often did -- Tate decided there was no harm in splurging, and thumbed through the menus until the option to upgrade came up. Trading 30 beans in Isle Aphun, Tate became giddy at the idea of them finding something sparkly. What sort of fun things might they bring back with them from their little exploration? More thumbing. There were plenty of beans left over -- why not upgrade Manaolana and Kukuee's experience, too? They deserved to have fun! Trading in 30 beans to upgrade Isle Abeens as well, Tate was now too excited to sleep. What if they met someone nice to play with? Manaolana deserved to make friends after how much they had demanded from him. And honestly, Kukuee just needed to burn off some freakin' energy -- she was exhausting! All a-titter, Tate pulled the camp blanket up to better stay warm, and hunkered down to watch the four Pokémon play, flipping between the two feeds eagerly at roughly ten minute intervals. $
