Any chance of G1 Pokemon showing up in B+W? I was browsing Bulbapedia and noticed that Mewtwo actually moved to the Pokemon World's NYC following Mewtwo Returns, which is where B+W is supposedly set.
Sarcoffin.

You can find Gen1-4 pokemon, but only after defeating the Champion.

Still no word of any pre-order bonus? They've been a series staple since at least the R/S days (can't really remember back further lol). Normally NOA being cheap doesn't come as a surprise but this is PKMN we're talking about. Even the Gamecube games had bonuses.

No, there is one. I saw an ad for it linked somewhere the other day. It's a lame wall sticker. Never heard of anybody putting stickers on walls before except for little babies who then get told off by their parents , but iirc that was NoA's brilliant idea for a 5th gen pre-release offer. Let me try and find it for you ...
Here you go: http://bulbanews.bulbagarden.net/wik...re-order_bonus

TRU only? Bleh. Previous ones has been at all retailers so I call into question its authenticity lol. Could be some cheapo retailer made thing instead of Nintendo but its something anyway. Kinda lame compared to the mini-figurines of previous DS games. Still beats the pants off of Fr/Lgs trainers guide x_x Thanks for the info!

Doesn't necessarily mean it's TRU only - they're just the first to advertise it. Most of the time, everyone advertises the bonuses to get preorders in. Gamestop almost always had the bonuses in their fliers and TRU advertises the crap out of everything, so.

So. Apparently they were going to have a pokemon based off the first cloned sheep, but decided not to, due to it being "too controversial". RAEG. THAT WOULD OF BEEN AWESOME. But, I wonder. What type were they going to make it? Normal? Psychic? Normal/Ghost? |

Having gone to the prerelease tour, I can confirm that Shell Blade is, indeed, Razor Shell. Same with Leaf Tornado, but I don't remember anyone debating that.

It won't be any different than Magic the Gathering: Online, though. Most people would rather own physical cards only than digital cards only, so the only people who end up buying into Mtg:O are either:
a) the people who have shittons of money and purchase both real and digital cards, or b) the people who, whether or not they can actually afford to do so, are so competitive IRL that they have to construct virtual decks in order to up the number of people they can test their decks out against I mean, if kids can still buy official cards in real life and then scan them in somehow and get the digital counterparts (LOL, E-READER WAS AHEAD OF ITS TIME), then it'd be amazing for those who play the TCG.

I realized something- from a purely marketing perspective, if this gets popular enough, they might just release a -long awaited- game revolving around the cards. Also; Yougi, eat your heart out. EDIT: Uh, Talon? You don't buy the online ones. You buy the physical ones, and they come with a code that gets you that deck online. |

If that's the case, then it's settled. But the way I read the article, it sounded very much like MtG:O. It sounded like you purchase digital decks and digital booster packs.

From what I've heard, there are no booster packs whatsoever (which is a bit of a letdown). You can only use preconstructed decks.

MtG and the Pokemon TCG are completely different and the Pokemon game is considerably easier to implement into a video game. The overall game's mechanics are way simpler. No instants mostly.

This is a lot different from Redshark, though.
No multiplayer, for one thing. Official, for another thing. |

I meant use it instead because it's actually functional and is cooler, even if it's not as nifty looking.
