1) Terrifying Three-Headed Monster of Badass.
2) It's Metagross. It's a giant indestructible psychic tank that looks like it gives no fucks.
3) Remember that PBS show Dragon Tales? I remember my sisters loved it. It was pretty cool. Dragonite looks like he'd fit in there.
4) Gen II Bias. But also because it looks like a land Godzilla.
5) Not a bad design. Not as cool as Flygon. But it's just kinda boring... for a dragon.
6) I just can't get past the fact that I think it looks like it's made out of jelly or yogurt or something.
7) Land Shark. Cool concept and all. Ugly haphazard result. Honestly he looks kinda like a lab experiment gone wrong.

Im just gonna justify my choices

1) Hes a mother fucking landshark that FLIES at mach speeds. He has scythes for wings too.
2) Hes a steel four legged titan that has a big X on his face.
3) 3 heads, black and blue color scheme. I dont know how hats not badass.
4) Hes Godzilla. Nuff said
5) He actually looks like a dragon. The big red wings look cool too.
6) A happy dragon. Umm.. no thank you. Plus those flaps of skin shouldnt even be called wings.

1) Totally adorbs. Eyes that stare into your soul. Squishy head things that just make you want to cuddle up to them. The only issue is that EWW YUCKY DON'T GET SLIME ON ME which is admittedly a big issue for me but. Squishy is squishy and shall be my squishy.

2) Two and three are admittedly close, but Sally pushes ahead by a tiny margin. From the what I've seen, he's only chubby when he's not in mid-flight, and Sally in mid-flight is just so cool. The wings should be awkward, the gill-like things should be awkward, the shell remains should be awkward, but somehow they all work together with that awesome tail to make a well balanced critter. If I had to ride one of them into battle, Sally would be my go-to.

3) Again, two and three are close, but Hydie just lost by a little bit. Like Sally, he looks better with neck extended and flight path determined, but when he's idle he looks just a bit... Awkward. But as far as laser-firing-death-dragons go, I love the guy.

4) T-Tar is interesting in that he's a pokemon who somehow has always been not-overly-noticable to me. Which is weird. But he's got a diamond-y design and that appeals to me. I tend to prefer quadrupeds to bipeds for some reason, so that might factor in. But he's nicely spiky and stuff.

5) Eh, he's decent. Not a fan of the random-seeming markings, but I must admit he's not something I'd want to run into in a dark cave. Also his tail is juuuuust long enough to balance out his design, so.

6) Pretty interesting. Not particularly appealing nor disappealing to me. Has a lot of odd features that somehow work together.

7) Sorry Draggy, I love you and all, but it's more for lore-related reasons than appearance. Gomen!

According to the latest data (ballots included up through Ethe's), these are the current standings:

Quote, "Tyranitar is the only candidate to lose no beatpath comparisons and so wins the election outright." Interesting considering just how many people since my last post rated Goodra #1 and Tyranitar pretty poorly. But true to the previous discussion, Goodra proves to really be a "love it or hate it" Pokémon whereas Tyranitar, while it may not top as many lists, also manages to avoid being the bottom of the barrel more often than Goodra does.

Anyway, let's walk through that table ...

In 7th place is Garchomp. As you can see, Garchomp is the only Pokémon to lose against all six other candidates. Garchomp's most favorable match-up is against Hydreigon, with 11 of 28 voters preferring Garchomp. His least favorable match-up is against Tyranitar: only 6 of 28 voters preferred Garchomp to Tyranitar.

In 6th, 5th, and 4th (no particular order) are Dragonite, Salamence, and Hydreigon. These guys each enjoyed two wins, one tie, and three losses.

In 3rd place we have Goodra with three wins, two ties, and one loss.

In 2nd place we appear to have Metagross with four wins, one tie, and one loss. Surprising result considering it seems many in the community don't appear to care enough for the steel spider to rank him in their top three. But note that Metagross's tie is to Goodra and that his loss is to the ultimate winner, Tyranitar. In other words: the math doesn't lie. Metagross really is the people's choice for 2nd place as of the current voting.

Finally, in 1st place we have Tyranitar with four wins, two ties, and zero losses. One of his ties is to Goodra, but the other of his ties surprisingly enough is to Hydreigon. A quick look at Tyranitar's scores reveals just how close most of his wins were: 22, 16, 16, 15, 14, and 14 out of 28 were his six scores. In other words, not only did he have the two spot-on ties (14/28) but he also had three categories that were very nearly ties. He only really had one clear win -- the 22 out of 28 -- which was his face-off against Garchomp. That's over 75% of UPNers saying that they think PokéGodzilla is more visually appealing than PokéStreet Shark.

I won't close the poll just yet but I won't allow edits to older ballots at this point either.

EDIT-Reply to post below this one: Blaze, I added your ballot to my Notepad file of tallied votes. I won't create a new image file right now, but I'll go ahead and note that the most dramatic change is that your ballot forces a run-off for 1st Place between Former 1st Place and Former 2nd Place. When I ran the numbers, Former 1st Place won again, but of course your results may vary depending on which ballot is randomly selected to break the tie.

1. I still have my Salamence, Sally that I caught in my first of thousands of runthroughs of Ruby 11 years ago. She's a beast.
1. See above. Meta my Metagross has been with me for a decade. I couldn't choose a favourite if I tried.
3. I've always liked Dragonite. I used one on my first yellow team when I was like 5 and loved that it could destroy everything. I spent more time with Ruby though and that Dragonite has long since been lost.
4. Never used Tyranitar outside of XD, but he looked badass, especially with Miror B.'s theme in the background.
5. Here's where I turn to looks. I've never used Goodra, but it's cute enough.
Bottom. I've never liked either of them. They don't appeal to me aesthetically. So I guess that puts them at the bottom here.
