Like I mention over in this thread the Nintendo Wifi Connections going offline for goods. That means no more trading or downloading of DLC quests for Ranger/Mystery Dungeon games (assuming they're even still up an running to begin with). Pay respect to the Friend Code threads while you're at it cause they won't need ta be stickied to much longer. @_@

I'm always sort of disappointed when outmoded games lose their functionality due to the march of progress, but I suppose it was inevitable.

There are other ways to play the games to completion, so I'm not too worried at the end of it. It is a shame that BW/BW2 will be losing their functionality, though, considering how little time we've had with them comparatively.

Ya an no more download events but they'd stopped doing those anyhow. I think I remember reading the Gen V games had some other downloadable stuff for Battle Test and PWT? Guess if those are still available people oughta grab 'em while they still can. Otherwise battling an trading can still be done locally as always an this doesn't effect the Poké Bank or Transfer services!

I still have my team on HeartGold, I'm pretty sure. If you want to do a co-op challenge of the Battle Tower with me, I'd be happy to. If you RSVP really super fast, we can try for tonight; otherwise, we can shoot for some time tomorrow or Saturday.

I guess the one advantage to this is no more hacked Pokemon from sites that would send them through the GTS. Though with how easy breeding has become there isn't as much as a need anymore as well.
