She says winking and patting Hotstuff in the back, "In you go buddy!" Hotstuff is then forced down the hole first, with everyone following one by one. After possibly going fifty or more feet down, with the only two sources of light being a small bright light in the top of the tunnel, and the other being Hotstuff's tail, Hotstuff is finally able to stand in the ground, as the light on his tail starts to reveal the floor. "Whew, that was quite the exercise wasn't it?" Krys comments, panting slightly from the long way down. You take a look around and see light coming from the tunnel up ahead, the only way to go. Krys starts to make her way ahead, and you finally reach what seems like a room, with a Machamp statue at the other side of the room, with four torches on the walls. "Huh, it's not what I was expecting..." She walks over to the center of the room, before something suddenly drops from above the entrance you came from, blocking your only way out as a wall now blocks it. The Machamp statue begins to move towards Krys, with a thunderous voice produced by the statue speaking to your group, "Intruder! We will now test your strength to see your worth. You must show us your true strength, only then you shall be able to continue. You have 30 seconds to prepare yourself!" The Machamp statue quickly assumes an attacking stance with you, Nuzleaf, Hotstuff and Krys standing before it...

How will you respond?
We have to fight a statue? Big thinks to himself that's a little unconventional And then: Really? The drifblim service was all that she got out of that? he sweatdrops as he recalls the conversation aboveground. "Ok, we won't be able to beat that thing with brute strength and Pandora's string shot won't be strong enough to immobilize it completely. But maybe..." He contemplates the idea. "Ok Krys? Have pandora use string shot on the eyes of it. Then just try to keep it tangled up. But keep the eyes covered." Big turns to the fire type that is shivering at the sight of the menacing statue "Hotstuff you can sit this one out if you want. I'll only call on you if we have to." The Charmander let's out a small sigh of relief and sits on the floor to rest. Big grabs the third Pokeball on his belt and releases it. "Go Hercules!" He shouts, releasing his Heracross. "Give the machamp statue two focus blasts please." Big asks the bug/fighting type

"What's going on here?" the nurse says, her sweet voice gone, giving the three of you a stern look as she holds a tray with different Pokéballs, "You can't let people like enter this fine establishment nurse!" But before the man can continue, she cuts him off. "This Pokémon Center is open for everyone, regardless of where they are from!" she says, speaking with complete authority, "But...but...." "Your Pokémon are fully healed so I would appreciate it if you could please leave." the nurse says calmly as she hands over the man's Pokéball. He growls as he then snatches the Pokéballs from the nurse's hands, leaving immediately, cursing as he leaves before saying, "What is this world coming to?!?!?" "I'm sorry you had to go through that." The nurse bends down next to Jamie, just as the trainers across from her just stare at your group, almost unable to grasp what just happened. "Are you alright sweetheart?" she asks sweetly, to which Jamie answers with a nod, eyes red as she appears ready to cry again any second. "There, there. It's alright, here is your Pokémon!" The nurse hands over Pixie's Pokéball to the little girl before handing you your Pokéballs back. "I'm sorry, I don't know what was wrong with him! He used to be the CEO of the Pokémon Protection Agency, but lately he has been really aggressive, maybe because he has recently retired. Who knows. Anyway, what are you two doing here if you don't mind me asking?"

How will you respond?

The man, clearly furious with me, continued his rant of yelling with his shockingly loud voice, calling Jamie a Neanderthal. Good move, idiot. You’ve ticked me off. It was about at this time that the local nurse came, with any sense of kindness evaporated from her voice. Poor guy didn’t know what was coming if past memory served correctly. "What's going on here?" she said to him in a stern voice. Soon, idiot, soon. “You can’t let people like this enter this fine establishment nurse-“ The failed sweet talking old man was cut off by the nurse at this point. "This Pokémon Center is open for everyone, regardless of where they are from!" The nurse said, with a voice that indicated her authority over him, "But...but...." "Your Pokémon are fully healed so I would appreciate it if you could please leave." At this point the only thing I could do was hold back a laugh. Rule number one of Pokemon Centers: Never make Nurse Joy mad. He took his pokéballs, clearly angered as if he could’ve won that argument, and left.

“I’m sorry you had to go through that. Are you alright, sweet heart?” She said, bending down next to her. I looked around the room at the boring people, all of them stunned by what just happened. I then looked back at Jamie. I kept silent, as I feared that I would only make it worse. Horrible people skills gave me the inability to make people feel better. Jamie nodded, her eyes red, and she looked at the pokéballs still in the nurse’s hand. “There, there. It’s alright. Here, have your pokémon back.” She said, and handed over Pixie’s pokéball. She stood up and handed the familiar red and white spheres back to me. I looked through them, and chose the one with a little Oran Berry sticker on the button. That was how I organized them- Maxwell’s Pokéball didn’t have anything on it, Severus’ had a red circle in red marker, Vincent’s had a little Yache Berry on it, and last but not least, Euen’s pokéball had an Oran Berry on it. I slipped the other pokéballs into my bag, and pressed the button to bring Euen out of his Pokéball. “Shuckle?” He said as he looked around the room, then returned to his book. I later learned it was something on Rock types.

“I ‘m sorry, I don’t know what’s wrong with him… He used to be the CEO of the Pokemon Protection Agency, but lately he’s been really aggressive. Maybe it’s because he recently retired.” The nurse said with a sigh. “Anyways, if you don’t mind me asking, what are you two doing out here?” She asked. I knew Jamie was probably still in shock, so I answered for her.

“Well, I came out here just to see what was around. Jamie yelled for help and I helped her defeat a Geodude that attacked her. She came out here because she’s looking for a Dwebble, and I promised I’d help her find one. We just came here to heal our pokémon.” I answered, and picked up Euen. He wrapped his legs around my neck, just enough to hold on and not strangle me, while he kept his ability to read. “Euen, where do you even get these books?” I asked, and he looked back at me briefly and then retreated to his shell, somehow fitting his book in there too. I held him in my arms, and his legs retreated aswell. “Way to avoid the question.”

It isn't long at all until one of them starts to viciously ram itself against the metal door. It continues to ram into it, but it doesn't seem to do much other than to hurt itself. After a minute of the spiders ramming into the metal panel unsuccessfully, it seems like they won't be able to do much here to your relief. That is until the sound of metal being bent is heard, you take a look at the metal door and see the door glow with a mysterious aura, slowly coming off, screeching of metal sounding as it begins to be bent, slowly but surely. It's only a matter of time until the Psychic attack completely blasts off the door separating the spiders from you and the inside of the center.

What will you do?

A sinking sensation settled in Eric's stomach as the spiders rammed heavily against the metal air duct. Chittering wildly, the horde of Ariados began to use their Psychic after a few minutes, trying in frustration to push their way past the metal grate into the Centre. It was just a matter of seconds until the duct would give way, and then all chaos would break loose. Eric found himself again wondering how he had managed to get himself in such a predicament but quickly brushed aside the thought as the metal began to peel away. Thinking fast, Eric gestured toward the opening. "Cypress, send out a Sleep Powder to stop the first few. Blaze, be ready for a Flamethrower if any manage to get past." Eric looked around the room, hoping that nothing was flammable. Meanwhile Cypress continued to stare at Blaze with an expression full of anger; Blaze barked his approval of the plan.

"Hey, I could use some help in here," Eric called toward the open door. "They're about to break through this duct!" All of the other trainers had left to help Steven and secure other areas of the Centre, and Eric could only hope that one of them had heard his cry for assistance...

"It's just so... beautiful up here! I've read about the Cloud Garden before, but to actually see it... I can't believe how colourful everything is!" Glancing for a moment at the small pokemon on his shoulder, he grinned at Sundance's look of surprise.

"Of course I have to go this way! I've learned that things are never quite like they are in books- they're so much more vivid!- but I've never read about this place in books! The Space Path? Sundance worriedly tilted to the side as Kin's face turned suddenly pensive and intense. Upon noticing her concern, Kin shook his head with a laugh.

Charminions – Surprised by the girl’s sudden turn of grace, you decide to relax and return the favor by extending a civil introduction. She wrinkles her nose upon hearing your handle.

“Charm? What a weird name.” She laughs, and you fight the urge to simply grab the basket and dump all the flowers over her head. But then she grins and proudly sticks out her hand, the first show of friendliness she’s made all day. Considering all the times you’ve attempted to make contact before have resulted in pain, you’re admittedly loathe to accept the gesture, fearing she’ll find something to punish you for if you so much as come within a foot. Seeing as she’s initiated the engagement herself this time though, you figure it can’t hurt to try, and gently clasp the porcelain palm.

“Nice to meet you, mister Charm. My name’s Amanda. Amanda Banks.”

Ignoring the arrogance in her tone, you manage a smile at the prospect of finally making some polite progress with this ill-mannered child. However, the smile soon fades when you hear Combee’s wheezing. Ordering your two Pokémon to keep a close watch on the girl (despite her clear discomfort being around them) to make sure she doesn’t assault the bug again, you run over with a Potion in hand to try and sustain the creature’s life until you can get it to a Center. The Combee coughs and shudders as you spray the the liquid on its injuries. While the color appears to improve, its figure still remains horribly distorted. At least it’s breathing easier though, enough that you feel you can safely collect and comfort it, still remaining careful of the stinger.

When you bring it back to the group, Amanda glares distastefully at the Combee despite its condition, but you shoot her such a look of snow she immediately backs down. Leaving her to deal with the fact Apollo and Osage are leering over her every move, you start to lead the way back to the Sky Gate, hoping the real Nurse Joy will know what to do. Luckily, you don’t run into the swarm again on the way, mostly thanks to your Pokémon’s precise memory and tracking senses.

As soon as you step outside the forest, however, you are accosted by a strange man, who abruptly rushes past you and grabs the girl by the shoulders. While a part of you secretly hopes to see a real pervert face surprise fists of fury for once, you feel some pity and quickly step forward to save one – or the other. For some reason, Amanda doesn’t seem to resist, so Apollo and Osage raise their respective claws to deal the deviant a double-blow. Although for a degenerate, his attire appears rather formal…

Before you can presage or protest, the man not only manages to skillfully dodge and punch both your Pokémon with pristinely gloved hands, but turns around and lands an elegant blow to your visage. That makes what, the fourth time today? Compared to a small child, the fist of a full grown man packs enough force to send you flying. (Luckily you land on your back so as to avoid crushing Combee again.) You vaguely register the sight of blood on his white knuckles, which he casually cleans off with a kerchief before tucking it back in his front pocket. He then turns to Amanda and addresses her hand like a gentleman.

“Are you all right, milady? You mustn’t wander off like that. Your father was terribly worried! Come, let’s go home now. Lillian will make sure the authorities arrive to apprehend this atrocious attempted kidnapper, as well as his accomplices.”

The person who you presume to be a butler starts to escort her off, although she lingers and looks back at you awkwardly as if debating something. You try to rise, but at that moment a high heel descends dangerously close to your head. Angling your view past stockings and frills, you find a feather duster threatening your throat, and behind it the smiling face of a maid – perhaps the most frightening (and finest, if you do say so yourself) image you’ve ever seen in your life.

What will you do?
“Charm? What a weird name,” the little girl laughs, further irritating the young trainer after trying to make a friendly gesture. The girl responds by letting out a hand for a formal greeting. Should I even shake her hand. She'll probably hit me again. Charm thought. Eh, what the hey. He clasps the girls hand, gently shaking it. “Nice to meet you, mister Charm. My name’s Amanda. Amanda Banks.” Still an arrogant child, but atleast she's showing some kindness, Charm thinks, managing a smile.

Hearing the Combee's wheezing, Charm orders his Pokemon to watch the girl incase she tries to assault the poor Combee again while he runs over to check on it. Reaching into his bag to pull out a Potion, spraying it over the Combee's wounds. It appears to be getting better, but it's still horribly disfigured and in need of a better treatment.

Walking back to the group, he gives a quick glare at Amanda to make sure she doesn't try anything fishy. "We're going to head back to the Sky Gate and look for Nurse Joy," he says, and so they do, fortunately without running into anymore swarms.

Once out of the forest, a man rushes towards the girl out of no where. "Huh," Charm exclaims. He begins walking towards the man, who's wearing a quite formal outfit, as his two Pokemon begin to swipe at him. The man easily dodges the attacks, however, and deals a double punch at the Pokemon with his gloved fists before turning around and landing a blow to Charm's face as well. "Gah," Charm yelps in pain as he lands on his back. The man eloquently wipes the blood of his glove with a hankerchief before turning back to Amanda.

“Are you all right, milady? You mustn’t wander off like that. Your father was terribly worried! Come, let’s go home now. Lillian will make sure the authorities arrive to apprehend this atrocious attempted kidnapper, as well as his accomplices.” Oh great, now I'm being accused of kidnapping her. And she's a snobby rich girl too? Figures. Charm coughs out some blood into her sleeve as the man, who seems to be her butler, escorts her away. Amanda looks back at Charm, possibly contemplating on whether she should stick up for him or not. Thanks for having my back, brat. Charm begins getting back up when the heel of a woman gets incredibly close to hitting his face. Charm looks up to find a stunning woman in stockings threateningly holding a feather duster to his throat. The maid shows a smile that gives Charm the mixed feelings of fear and lust.

"Uhhh..." Charm tries to speak. He then looks back down to see the still injured Combee in his arms, snapping him back to reality. "Listen lady, I don't have time for this. I didn't kidnap your precious brat, Amanda. In fact, I saved her life from an angry swarm of Combee after she mutilated their poor, innocent friend here." He sticks out his arms to show her the injured Combee. "If I don't take this little guy to a Pokemon Center soon, he'll die. If you want to apprehend me, fine, but after I get this Combee a proper medical treatment."

Little Gar dived at the floating dust while chanting in gibberish. When he missed, he kept energetically jumping into the air after it. Alli took a deep breathe, and went over her notes.

"Okay, here is what we know. This area was destroyed long ago by an unknown force. Some people think this was due to a battle between two fire Pokemon, but here is what I think," lectured Alli to her darumaka, who was not listening at all. He was still hopping around and shouting babble.

"The Cherufe. A giant cryptid made of rock and magma. It is said to bring nothing but destruction wherever it goes. Many volcanic eruptions have been said to be caused by the Cherufe. The damage it causes is comparable to fire damage. Just like this area."

Darumaka had climbed up one of the charred trees and continued swiping at the dust, as Alli continued reading off of her notes. "Now, if we are dealing with a Cherufe, it might still be here. As it is built of rock and magma, it doesn't necessary age and could still be hiding around underground. At the very least, we could look for clues or information-" Alli stopped suddenly when she noticed that it had sudden gotten quiet. She looked around nervously for her boisterous darumaka and found him at the very top of a blacken tree. "Garrr!" Little Gar pounced on a nearby branch, which broke under his weight. Alli gasped loudly, but Gar easily grabbed on the next branch down, swung himself around the other side of the trunk, and quickly climbed down.

"Hiba hiba hiba chee," chanted Little Gar proudly, as though he had accomplished something fantastic.
"Oh, Gar, you worried me!"
"Hiba Hoho! He!" Gar chanted, and wandered off.
"H-hey! Get back here!" Alli chased after her unruly darumaka deep into the dead wastelands.

In desperation, Broly attempts to lock eyes with the Beedrill. At this point, its pure pools only seem to see scarlet. A sea of blood, reflections of rage. Though frenzied movements make contact difficult, Broly eventually succeeds in snapping the soldier to attention. Its limbs stiffen in recognition of a strict superior. Meanwhile, Broly salutes to an even higher position. The planet’s general commander beams with approval, restoring his health in honor of valor.

Upon seeing its rival suddenly awarded, insurgence surges through the lower rank. It refuses the order to continue the war and stubbornly ROOSTs on the earth, seeking to restore its own wounded wing. The tattered white flag of truce. Broly either ignores or is ignorant of the symbol, simply taking advantage of the peace to rub his paws together, sparking flame. He then launches a surprise siege, cutting off the supply of oxygen by striking the stationary bug’s abdomen.

The insect gasps and glares, aghast at the use of such a foul maneuver. Some dignified dog, he definitely did not deserve distinction or decoration. Still, despite the severe blow to both its belly and its pride, its passive strategy seems to have paid off, as it appears refreshed and ready to return to duty. It rises up and RUNs at Broly, hammering in the lesson of proper field practice like a DRILL sergeant. Broly grunts as his body digs into the ground from the force of the attack, quelling flame for the moment.

The Beedrill isn’t done yet, as it decides to try a dirty little trick of its own by scattering TOXIC SPIKEs across the ground, effectively turning it into a minefield. One wrong move and your Pokémon could be blown sky-high poisoned. Unfortunately, as Broly attempts to regain his footing, he accidentally triggers the trap. He howls as a thorn pierces his paw, poison seeping into his veins. Licking the oozing blood in an effort to stem the flow only serves to steepen the pain. His stomach lining soon starts to burn from ingesting further toxins, causing Broly to whine and curl up into a ball, having never experienced a fire this strong in his belly before. Beedrill rubs its needles with glee, pleased to see its Trojan takeover was a triumph. The gloves are off now; nobility has no place on the battlefield.

Nova is clearly concerned for its comrade, but knows better than to try and navigate such a danger zone at the risk of its own life. Instead it falls back on guerrilla tactics, concealing itself once again against the background as it also takes time to recoup. The other Beedrill buzzes in frustration, growing tired of this ploy. However, a good warrior knows that even waiting has its advantages. While unable to accomplish much else, it bides the time by training its body, limbering up to boost AGILITY.

A flash, followed by an invisible pulse. The moment of movement comes. Thanks to its speedy reaction, Beedrill shaves seconds off the strike, springing its snare on the source. All of a sudden Nova finds itself completely caught in an ELECTROWEB. The Beedrill salivates over its success, and BITEs down on the form of its helpless victim, now exposed through the network. The BUG forces a system failure, as Nova’s renewed firewall shuts down again.

With one partner polluted and the other taken captive, things are looking grim for your group. However, the Beedrill are also showing signs of slowing down, having built up a number of battle burns and scars.

*Growlithe has been POISONed*

What will you do now?
With things looking rather hopeless for Marcelo and his allies, Broly sprang to action despite the poisoning as he realized that this battle was way more serious than he thought earlier. With things going against them, he realized that it was time to get real and end the battle before the bees deal some lasting damage to him or his allies. Sprinting over towards Marcelo's backpack which he had left close to the injured Teddiursa, he unzipped it open using his teeth and put his face inside the backpack. Marcelo was clueless at what he was doing and had a rather skeptical opinion about this situation and Broly's sense of seriousness. "Broly, what on earth are you -" However, soon Broly pulled his head out and in his jaws was a brilliantly shining amber coloured stone with fiery marks on it which made it look like it held a flame within it. Marcelo knew exactly what he had in mind. The stone started glowing a bright white and soon Broly followed suit as the glowing puppy started growing in size till he turned into a giant quadruped. As the glow faded, Marcelo saw that Broly had become an Arcanine after exposure to the Fire Stone in his backpack.

With a renewed sense of vigour, Marcelo knew that the odds were now in their favour again and focussed back on the battle. "Broly! You're the best, buddy! Step into the field and let them know what you've become with a mighty Roar! That should really scare them now! Nova, use Rapid Spin to free yourself from the Electroweb! Then Swift to get both of them! Broly, finish both of them off with a widespread Heat Wave!"

By this time Marcelo had realized not to show the Beedrill any mercy and after a moment's pause, he gave some more orders to ensure that the duo couldn't battle any more. "If they're still standing, Broly, use Flame Wheel on one of them and Nova, use Psychic on the other!" he said, sensing victory within his grasp.

Voodoo Child

WOAH BOY IS THIS LATE.

Sorry guys. <3 you! Hope this makes up for it!

The Fountain Garden

OkikuMew

The man in black grumbled under his breath, his frantic search through his pack growing faster and less methodical by the second. It seemed he was worried, perhaps finally doubting his Zubats combat prowess against the seemingly much stronger Poochyena. He glances over his shoulder at the struggling Pokemon, just in time to see Max's latest blast of sand, making the Zubat squirm and fight to stay level.

"Zubat, leech life again!" He tried desperately, throwing useless trinkets and knickknacks from his bag. The Zubat struck Max, but the effect of this tactic seemed to be dwindling- the damage the Zubat was taking was not being made up for by the effects of draining Max's energy. The Poochyena charged in, doggedly shaking off the pain and discomfort, his teeth clamping onto the bats wing in another powerful bite. The Zubat slumped noticeably in his grasp, and for the first time, the other trainers face contorted into something close to concern. He opened his mouth to say something, but never had the chance.

Rawk swooped in from the sky, neatly securing the now unguarded cage, and- with no small amount of struggling- managed to lift it from the ground and begin moving it rapidly away from the scene of the little duel. The trainer cursed, almost screaming in rage, throwing his bag back over his shoulder, wrenching the Zubats Pokeball from his belt. "You little brat! This ain't over, kid!" He recalled the Zubat, who had by all appearances already lost the contest. Taking only a moment, the man slammed his foot into the odd collar that he had evidently been intending to place on the caged Pokemon, shattering a small box attached to its side. He spun on his heel and fled, leaving you, Max, and Rawk the victors.

You debate your options- you could attempt to chase him down and apprehend him yourself, or you could prioritize helping the caged Staryu and searching the items the criminal had left.

What do you do?

Rainbow Waterfalls:

hen da man

Still momentarily speechless, the young woman remains still. Then, without warning, she nods her head emphatically; and without a word, streaks off in the direction she had presumably seen this dragon of hers. You take a deep breath and head off after her, almost having to struggle to keep pace with the clearly excited girl. She all but dives for the cliff face, many meters away from the waterfall itself, jamming her fingers and shoes into small ledges and holds, hauling herself upwards with astonishing quickness.

You hesitate but a moment, looking at your Pokemon companions. With a collective group shrug, you begin to ascend along side her, wondering what it was she saw- or thought she saw- that could put her in such a state. After all, you'd looked just an instant after she had, and seen nothing.

Maybe she... wasn't all there..? But it didn't matter. If nothing else, her Pokemon friend was still missing, and that was reason enough to lend a hand! You soon overtake her, and haul yourself onto the wide flat ledge that seemed to provide an easy enough walking path towards the source of the falls. You lean over, and lower a hand, helping her up as she reaches the top, and stand to dust yourself off.

She pauses to collect her breath, before facing you fully. "I... it may have been a, a... a mirage, or my imagination, but I [i]swear[/b] that I saw a... a Dratini!" she proclaims excitedly. She surveys your surroundings, still struggling to catch her breath.

"That must be why my Charmander ran off... please, will you help me look for them? Both of them?" She looks to you once more, her eyes pleading sincerely.

What will you do?

Delibird Ridge:

Kairne

Sybil sprang forward, shaking both of her heads briefly, before raising them and locking four steely eyes on the Cubone. The Cubone, for its credit, merely lowered its head and lifted its signature weapon- both Pokemon were ready for a fight. It seems that this was what it had come down to, after all.

The female trainer/thief sidestepped to take the males place, as he slipped back down the path from where he had come. Running, perhaps? Or just that confident in his partners ability? It probably didn't matter all that much, given the state of things- you'd handled yourself well thus far, and had little doubt you would hold out still longer against this rabble.

You issue your command, and the bird was off- the Quick Attack coming with such speed and ferocity that the Cubone was struck squarely, and staggered backwards; his preparation, it seemed, had done little to nullify the blow! The Doduo growled menacingly, as though to rub in the fact that it had just one-upped the now hurt Cubone before it could even react.

The female trainer scowled, lifting her arm as she issued orders- "Bone Clud, then give him a Growl of your own!" she shouted, spurring the little Pokemon into action. It darted forward, swinging its weaponized-bone in a savage arc, connecting with one of Doduos heads with a painful thud. Sybil reared back in pain, but didn't fall!

Cubone growled low, puffing out its chest, lifting its weapon once more as it eyed down its opponent.

What will you do?

You struggle forward, finding yourself using the pillars as a support, despite not feeling pain or actually needing the assistance holding yourself up. It was the other worldly atmosphere of the place, the sense of isolation, or desperation- these pillars, as cryptic and potentially creepy as they were- were at least a sign of people, or habitation.

...weren't they? It existed, therefore logic dictated that it had been built. But built by who..? And when? And how were they linked to that weird... shadow... thing? You try to not think about it. There are more immediate concerns at hand, like the potential loss of one of your team members. You call her name as you make your way through the hall of pillars, but hear no response. The vastness of the chamber you must be in is evident in the lack of progression you seem to be making- you pass row after row of these same, virtually identical columns, yet never once do you see any indication of reaching a wall, or a corner.

You frown, beginning to wonder if this was some farcical nightmare. Perhaps you'd been knocked on the head by a crumbling piece of that damned chimney stack? Made more sense than any of this.

You stop, kicking empty-mindedly at one of the pillars in a vague sense of futile desperation. As you do so, however, you feel part of the stone recess into itself- and all at once, the room is flooded with blinding white light. At least, the pillars immediately surrounding you are!

When the flashblindness fades, you realize that more and more of the symbols along the pillars had lit up- but only on certain pillars. The lights formed paths, it seemed, leading off to your left, right, and straight ahead of you. The dimly glowing light from the pillars along the route you had taken, had vanished.

You stand in place, taking in this new development.

It's time to make a choice.

Kairne watched his new, inexperienced Pokemon spring into action; nervous for her, but not letting it show on his exterior, lest these delusioned chaps think he could be a target in any way. No, Kairne had ways of making sure they knew their place. They would play his game, eventually. He would make sure of it. He couldn't help but be concerned for her, however, as she was obviously inexperienced. Even Baudelaire had gotten some training in, had bonded with Kairne and grown together before his first battle. She was so green, and Kairne didn't know what she was capable of, not yet.

Kairne caught movement, and saw the male start to back up a bit, like he was starting to run off. As he saw this, he also was able to track the progress of the battle before him, keeping the potion hidden, and keeping a watchful eye on his little bird. Sybil showed what she was made of by jumping in and striking home with a Quick Attack on the skulled Pokemon, before letting out a taunting, if slightly menacing, Growl.

"Bone Clud, then give him a Growl of your own!" Kairne heard the woman yell. Clud? Was that a hint of fear, the stumbling over the word Club? Was it just an honest mistake? Kairne wasn't sure, but he was certain, now more than ever, that he could take them, no sweat. The Cubone charged forward at Sybil, brandishing his weapon, before bringing it down forcefully on of one of her heads. That has to hurt something awful, Kairne thought to himself. But she can handle it. She is my Pokemon, after all. The Cubone kept his weapon at the ready, letting out a low Growl, perhaps as a challenge to both Sybil and Kairne.

Deciding to press his luck, Kairne called out to the fleeing man, "Running away? Fat lot of good that artificial camouflage will do you. Because I'm a druid; I'm a tracker. I know the earth, I follow the earth." Kairne glared at him. "I will find you."

Sensing the tension, Baudelaire straightened up, ready for the worst, if need be. Kairne continued, "So if you're going to run away, then leave now, the both of you, and I'll forget this ever happened. If not, come get served." He pulled out another Pokeball, popping it to full size. "I'll take on the both of you!"

"Sybil," he remarked to his bird, more calmly. One of her heads looked up at him in response. "Give him a taste of your Peck. Follow up with a Faint Attack." She nodded obediently. "Show them not to mess with us."

Sybil turned her full attention to the Cubone, ready for more action.

Withdrawing from this adventure as tau has more or less resigned from FB, or, at the very least, adventures thereof. Thank you for the adventure, tau, it was really fun while it lasted. I just hope you can stay around enough to chill with us at times. You're a cool guy.

"I... it may have been a, a... a mirage, or my imagination, but I swear that I saw a... a Dratini!" she proclaims excitedly. She surveys your surroundings, still struggling to catch her breath.

"That must be why my Charmander ran off... please, will you help me look for them? Both of them?" She looks to you once more, her eyes pleading sincerely.

What will you do?

Lana doesn't move one bit and remains speechless before nodding crazily and running towards the waterfall and straight past it to the cliff face. Henry looks at Blaze and shrugs as they run after her, keen for an adventure. Jeremy suddenly realises everyone else is running so he quickly looks up and chases after the 3 ahead.

Once Henry and Blaze reach the cliff face, they wait for Jeremy whilst they all look at each other, contemplating on whether or not they should help out this photographer who they barely even know. They did come here for an adventure though and boy have they got one right now so they decide to go through with this. Henry looks up and sees that Lana has already advanced quite a way up the wall and decides they better get to it and catch her. Lucky he was quite the athlete and loved climbing up rocks and cliffs and all those sort of things despite being a little bit scared of the prospect of possible death if he fell.

"Now why did I leave Vlad back in the Daycare Centre! He could have been really useful here... For now though Blaze, return. You really don't have the... uhh... body structure to climb a cliff face? Jeremy, you could probably fly up it with your wings if you don't want a bit of exercise!" Henry plans out everything before setting off after Lana and the boy is much quicker at advancing up the large cliff than his photographer friend. He eventually overtakes her just before the top and dusts himself off, proud of his work before bending over with his hands on his knees, taking some deep breaths.

When Lana joins them right at the top, Henry and Jeremy give her a hand in pulling her up over the edge and onto safe ground.

"So what did you see?" Henry queried Lana as he had no clue what she was so speechless about earlier, except that she kept muttering something about a dragon.

"I... it may have been a, a... a mirage, or my imagination, but I swear that I saw a... a Dratini!"

"What!? A Dratini! Are you sure? Because Dratini is probably my favourite Pokémon!" The boy yells louder and louder as his sentence continued, clearly excited at the prospect of seeing his favourite species.

The boy quickly wonders about how he could of missed this rare creature. He is annoyed at not paying that much attention and missing sight of the pseudo legendary. Hopefully he will get to see it once more.

Ignoring the questions and everything else Henry said, Lana provides Henry with a question herself, "that must be why my Charmander ran off... please, will you help me look for them? Both of them?"

"Of course I will! I just wanna see this Dratini that you are speaking of seeing! I mean, I want to help you find your Charmander as well, but Dratini's are awesome! It would provide a nice picture for you as well wouldn't it? I mean, it is quite a rare creature, yeah?" Henry just couldn't hold his excitement in now, beaming as he ponders over thoughts as the two walk off after the two Pokémon.

"Oh! I forgot to let Blaze back out! Come on back out buddy, we are on top of the cliff now." Blaze looks back up at Henry a little shocked that they got up the cliff so quickly but gets on as normal with little expression.

Fret frantically. Fear for fossil fate flows. Fumbling, filch finery. File follows:

February 18, 2006

I was chasing two Pokémon through a field of flowers. They seemed similar, though their colors differed slightly. They scampered off so quickly that I had some trouble keeping up. We came to a cluster of rocks divided by a creek. The two clambered on top of the stones, turning to look back at me for the first time since we’d started running. I noticed they looked like mice; Plusle and Minun. They turned their gaze back towards what lay beyond the rocks, and leapt from their perch, vanishing from sight. I climbed up after them, and found myself standing above a crashing waterfall. Scanning the earth, I managed to spot those two at the bottom. To the side, not far below, I noticed a group of trees whose gigantic leaves were dipping a little. I came to the conclusion that those two had used the leaves as springboards to aid them safely to the bottom.

They called to me over the din of the churning waters, and I realized I would have to follow suit if I was to get down as quick as they did. I took a flying leap, though in the back of my mind I was certain the leaves could never hold my weight. To my surprise however, I found myself rising in the air again, and managed to safely bounce my way down using the leaves. Those two quickly gathered around me, tugging at my hands and legs to get me going, apparently too impatient to let me bounce around all day. I smiled and apologized, and they started off again with me in pursuit. They seemed to be headed towards a large cave entrance carved into the rock face. Mist from the water’s spray filled the air. I turned to see if my eyes could follow the creek to where it led, but the foliage made it too difficult to see. All around me were giant trees, their trunks wrapped with thick, thorny vines so they formed an enclosing wall around the lagoon. Beautiful tropical red flowers blossomed everywhere. Such beauty was breathtaking, I wanted to remain here forever.

Unfortunately, I realized I had kept my companions waiting, and ran after them into the cave. There was only a single path, so I followed it to the end, gazing at the stalactites and stalagmites formed over the years. Eventually, there appeared light before me, and I hastened forward to find those two waiting for me in a large area of the cavern. Oddly enough, the room was lit by lamps powered with pulsing electrical orbs. Small holes in the rock seemed to indicate burrows and tunnels. I was in awe. This place must’ve been a Plusle and Minun colony!

Once I realized this, I also noticed that there were no other electric mice to be seen. I looked towards my two companions, who appeared saddened by this fact. To my surprise though, they started to glow, their eyes flashing red in what was most likely anger. Those two… They seemed so angry. How will I be able to help them now?

Flip front, find further font. First folio’s fashion felt finer, fluid. Final feels fast-paced, frenzied. Flaky.

Mission failed. Whoever reads this, you must fulfill the quest in my place. The man who gave me this dreamcatcher said that it came from Intado’s Village in Fizzytopia. According to them, the stars foretold disaster. If the creature is woken, then we are all doomed…

Unfortunately, I’m running out of time. First go to the forest. Talk to K. Find the letters. Take them to J.

Finally, fading:

Don’t trust what you see. Not all is as it seems.

“Fool.”

Freak, flail. Face floor. Fat frog flabbergasts.

Feedback?
Kori gripped the dreamcatcher tightly and picked himself up off of the ground till he was eye to eye with the frog that just addressed him. He blinked and rubbed his eyes a couple of times, but still, there was the frog. Ok, I’m in a messed up desert with a skeleton, a letter, a dreamcatcher and now, a frog. This desert is so many kinds of messed up he thought as he continued to stare at the frog until he finally cleared his throat and said.

“Nope!”. Kori turned around and began to walk away, turning back only a couple of times to see that the frog was still there, burning a hole into his back with it’s gaze. Then Kori quickly paced back to the frog and said again.

“Nope!” Kori turned, again and continued to walk away. The dreamcatcher, the letter, the hallucinations in the desert, none of it made sense and Kori liked none of it. He continued to walk away, leaving the frog where it stood….until he ran back to it again and furiously yelled

“WHAT! WHAT IS IT! WHAT DO YOU WANT FROG!”

There’s a rest house somewhere along there for trainers who want to rest their tired feet and pokemon.
A Pokemon trainer walked along the path leading to the Rainbow Road. His sleeveless red and white jacket showed the black t-shirt underneath, six Poke Balls were clipped to his belt which supported a pair of faded blue jeans, and a brown cowboy hat sat upon his head. On either side of this trainer floated a Shuppet. Both Shuppet looked identical, though it was easy to tell which was which; one of them had a facial expression which suggested she was rather irritated, while the other one looked perpetually happy.

"I keep tel-ling you, Meat Sack, I think we should check out Me-mo-ry Lane," the dour-looking Shuppet said to her trainer. "It is sup-posed to have a de-pres-sing feel to it. It is the Shup-pet e-qui-va-lent of a gour-met feast!"

"Maybe later, Myrtle," the trainer, a man named Keith, replied. "Helena's the newer one on the team, so I think it's only fair we do what she wants first."

"Thank you once a-gain, Keith," smiled Helena, the other Shuppet, a look of eager anticipation on her face. "Rain-bow Road... Just the name sounds so won-der-ful! And it is sup-posed to be a great place for sight-see-ing, too!"

"He-le-na, I real-ly think you should re-con-si-der," Myrtle stated. "Me-mo-ry Lane will give you your first taste of ne-ga-tive e-mo-tions. It is im-por-tant for a-ny grow-ing Shup-pet."

"I told you, big sis-ter, I do not like ne-ga-ti-vi-ty," Helena replied. Myrtle rolled her eyes, and seemed about to mutter to herself in Shuppet language, but thought better of it, having momentarily forgotten, it seems, that both Keith and Helena would still be able to understand her. She settled for floating alongside Helena, occasionally giving her strange looks as they went along.

"I promise, Myrtle, after we're done on Rainbow Road, we'll check out Memory Lane, OK?" Keith said.

"I will hold you to that, Meat Sack," Myrtle snapped, though she now looked to be in a slightly better mood. Very slightly.

"Daphne!" Hyrem continued calling out his Nuzleaf's name, hoping against all hope she would run up to him and accompany him in this lonely trek through an unknown world, but all he had were the mysterious pillars lining the path. He wasn't hurt anywhere, nor did he need the pillars to keep himself up. He simply felt alone, and the eerily-lighted pillars had to be created by someone... right? And why would all of this be hidden inside that shadow? ...No, none of that mattered now. He had to focus. He had to find Daphne!

"Daphneeeee!" Still no response. Hyrem keeps walking along the path and just sees the same pillars lining up the path. Maybe a brick hit his head? That'd be my theory, at least. In any case, this was just a nightmare, and Hyrem was so frustrated he started kicking a pillar, but the kick triggers a light show in which the pillars ahead of him illuminated a three-way fork. The path behind him lost all of its light, signalling that there was no turning back. Hyrem groaned when he saw the three paths; he didn't have time for this, there was too much at stake! But what if he chose the wrong path? ...He knew the answer to that question all too well. He could use one of his other Pokemon to help him out, but right now he was afraid of losing them too, so he would keep them in their Pokeballs unless he really needed them. At this point, he simply had to choose a path and hope it was right, so on he went... straight down the middle path.

It's all good tau! I'm a little late myself because of the shops (or at least thought I couldn't do anything because of them...), but I'm finally good to post again

The man in black seems to have completely ignored my little rant while still searching in his bad like crazy, to my disappointment. He isn't ignoring the battle though, where Max is pwning his poor Zubat with yet another Sand-Attack. The thief desperately orders his bat to leech my dog's life more, but even though he was able to get him, it didn't do much to either sides. Max takes the opportunity to take a bite out of the Zubat, which knocked him out for good. The guy looks completely shocked, probably wanted to yell another order or go on his own rant, but the outcome of the fight got him speechless.

Taking the end of the battle as his cue, Rawk swoops down to grab the Staryu's cage with a bit of technical problems, but still manages to take off before the poacher was able to do anything about it.

"You little brat!" he snarls at me while calling back his Zubat. "This ain't over, kid!" he then proceeds breaking some kind of box after a collar then run away from us.

"First, I'm just as old as you are!" I scream right back at him as I roll my eyes. "Second, if this is not over yet, why are you running away, coward!?"

As expected he ignores me again, still running away. Max, always in to chase things, dashes right at him in full pursuit, while Rawk, carefully makes a landing with the caged Staryu in his claws.

"Max, no, wait! Stay! Get his scent real good instead!"

Although his chasing urge was pretty high, he confusingly follows my command of both getting a good sniff at him and stays close to where we are.

"Good boy," I congratulate him, knowing it's very hard for him to stop chasing things. "I would've like to get him too, but I think it's best for now to take care of our fallen star," I point at the hurt Staryu with a shook of my head. "Anyways, you should be able to chase him later now that you got his smell real good, right?"

Max's eyes widen and his mouth opens up, realizing my plan and remembering the water Pokémon. If he could talk, he probably went "Oh... right."

"We've got his stuff to check out too, but that'll come in second. Oh by the way guys, awesome job! You destroyed that Zubat Max, and as for you Rawk, you were amazing at following my orders, even when they were said 'in code'. I knew you had it in you, man!"

Max happily wags his tail while Rawk holds his head up high, proud as a peacock.

"...But let's get down to business, shall we?"

I sit down right beside the hurt star-shaped Pokémon.

"Hey there buddy," I whisper at the innocent prisoner, "told ya I would get you! ...Alright, careful, I'll get you out of this thing..."

I quickly study the cage, then proceed to opening it then carefully removing its unfortunate resident from it.

"Theeere ya go. You look battered though," I give it a worried expression. "I'll get ya something to fix you up though."

I search deeply in my backpack to pick up a Potion.

"Alrighty, this is gonna sting a little, so be ready... One, two... three."

On three, I spray the stuff on it, especially on the spots where he seems to be bruised the most.

"...I guess that'll do the trick. Stick around and rest up a bit, alright?" I carefully pet one of its arms. "Not only we have to make sure you're safe, but we need to check out what that bozo left behind. Don't worry, we'll eventually take care of him too, just... not in the same way as we did with you, of course," I nervously laugh at my bad joke.

While Max and Starly approach the water Pokémon to greet it, I roll my body around beside the stuff left on the ground, then my curiosity takes over and I try to figure out what exactly they're used for, besides trying to poach Pokémon. Maybe I could find more info on what exactly he's trying to do...

And finally there they were. A Charizard who's skin was blackened like the night sky and a man tightly wrapped in a black cloak to shield him from the wind. The dragon pokemon swooping in, beating his wings against the ground to soften the landing. Touching down on all fours, the Charizard let his trainer off his back before standing back on his hind legs.

The trainer quickly put his hood down and took his gloves off. They had been in the air for what seemed like forever. They were both used to long journeys and cold winter winds. But Auric had the luxury of sleeping while his friend was carrying him to their destination. Ares was the one who had done all the work to get them here.

"Well we're back again." He said, letting out a sigh of relief. Turning around he looked at his Charizard who was yawning. "You should take a rest Ares. It was a long trip and I'm sure the gang is itching to stretch their legs."

Normally Ares would fight him on it, but Auric could see he was wiped out. Stretching out his pokeball a red flash pulled Ares back. Auric turned and clipped the pokeball back onto his belt. Looking around he saw he was in front of the Sky gate. Still standing in all its glory. Everything was like he remembered it and yet it felt different, or maybe it was him who was different. It was early in the morning and there were only a few people out walking around and no one he recognized.

He was about to take his first step towards the Sky gate when a stone path caught his attention. Looking around he saw a small sign on the side of the path marking "Memory Lane". Looking back to the path he could feel something foreboding about it. It was rare that something struck fear into him but this definitely qualified. Still he was never one to back down and with fear comes the ability to overcome it.

"Memory lane..... Seems appropriate." He said reaching for a pokeball on his belt.

The Pumpkin ball burst open and a Tangrowth took shape on the ground in front of Auric. Athene's eyes lit up when she saw where they were. Home. She squealed with a 'Taaaang!' and wrapped her vine covered arms around Auric hugging him. He struggled a little before managing to cough a bit.

"Erg...A..bit too tight Athene!" He said wincing a little. She quickly loosened her grip and freed him. His team had been with him for years, and they followed Auric where ever his life had taken him. Even if it meant they had to leave their former home. He was sure they would all be glad to return to the place they had all met in the first place.

"I figured you'd be glad to be back." He said. "I know it's been a long time, but you guys deserve some adventures that only Fizzy bubbles can offer. Let's say you and I take a walk down memory lane." Auric said pointing behind Athene.

The Tangrowth turned and stared with curiosity down the winding path. Auric walked up beside her and motioned forward with a nod and a smile. Auric took the lead with Athene slowly walking behind him. He knew she was too careful to let him get in over his head. But even with one of his strongest allies at his side he couldn't shake this uneasy feeling that had come over him. Never a dull moment in Fizzy bubbles... he thought to himself as the walked further along the path.

OOC: Yes I'm back again and I promise this time I'll be sticking around long enough to reply to some updates. Hopefully one of you can squeeze me into your update group.

Son_of_Shadows
(OOC: If you would like me to make your Squirtle a Wartortle, just say the word, and I’ll integrate into any future updates)

With Bishop, your Hoothoot starter badly damaged, you order Aegis to heal him. Aegis the Squirtle runs as fast as he can towards the injured comrade, and utilizing Softboiled, he creates and egg of energy. Aegis picks the egg up and forces it into Bishop’s mouth. Bishop glows green, his wounds beginning to close and his burn healing as his tiny wings spread once again, renewed with energy. Aegis punches the air in delight because his teammate is okay once again. The Houndour, filled with rage at his hard work gone to waste, charges his Fangs with crackling Thunder and electricity and dashes at Bishop. Bishop, however, is able to fly over it, the Houndour being blinded by fury and being a bit tired from huge energy exertions. In air, Bishop flaps his wings as hard as he can, another Heat Wave blowing forth and onto the Skorupi. Skorupi is knocked back, but manages to get back up a perform a Swords Dance. Aegis’ mouth fills with Water, and a high pressure stream of Muddy Water is fired out, slamming into the Houndour, which crashes into a wall. It rises, but then falls again, swirls on its eyes, clearly knocked out. Skorupi watches its teammate fall, and seeks vengeance, prepping a Cross Poison, looking to score what should be a critical hit on Aegis. Bishop sees this, however and flies up high, before diving down for a fierce Peck, knocking the Skorupi out. Level up for Bishop and Aegis. The Team Galactic Grunts have priceless looks on their faces. “Impossible! How could we be beaten?! Return, you useless Pokemon.” They say simultaneously, both Pokemon being absorbed in red beams of light. “For now, we shall retreat. If word gets out that we lost to a brat like you, we’ll become the gruntiest of grunts.” They say, running deeper into the hideout. You roll your eyes and walk deeper into the hideout, taking a right turn at the first hallway you see. You are greeted with two orange panels, with rings of energy being released upwards from them. As you turn for a few seconds to inspect a Team Galactic poster on the wall, Minccino jumps out of your bag, deciding to inspect the panels. She missteps and falls on one of them, and instantly disappears with a loud cry. You quickly turn, but it’s too late and she’s gone. Which panel could she have stepped on?

What will you do?

*Repost*

The double battle rages on, but you decide to withdraw Shell for now in favor of your starter, Olli the Chimchar, who leaps around in happiness before realizing he’s in a battle. The fire monkey provides additional light into the gloomy cavern with his flame. The grounded Golbat is unable to dodge a Fire Spin from Olli, the roaring flames surround the Bat Pokemon, who desperately tries to escape, damaging itself more in the process. Eventually it thinks of a solution, a Gust blowing away the flames. Using its feet, it tries for a Wing Attack, but the agile Chimchar easily dodges it, leaping over the Golbat, landing on his feet. Olli thinks up some Nasty thoughts, Plotting on how to beat Golbat. Golbat sees this as an opportunity, and fires a Shadow Ball at Olli, who is too preoccupied with his Nasty Plot to see the dark Ghost-Type move coming at him, knocking him back. That seemed to be a powerful blow. Olli decides not to put the Nasty Plot boost to use, and instead surrounds himself in a Flame Wheel, rolling towards the downed Golbat, crashing into it and burning its face. The Golbat screeches in pain as the Flame Wheel burns it and pushes it back. Meanwhile, over to Bob and Sandslash, they seem to be doing well, having dodged a powerful Psychic and countered with a Night Slash. The Swoobat seems damaged, and a victory for Bob is nearly guaranteed. The Golbat has taken many hits, but can still put up a fight, and Olli is fine, save for a nice chunk of his energy being drained.

King Ghidorah

You decide to make your way to the Sky Colosseum to show the uppity Silver who’s boss. You thank the Nurse for the healing, then you leave the Pokemon Center and Stardust Fields. You head towards the Sky Gate and ask for directions to the Sky Colosseum. Receiving them, you head towards the center of the Cloud Garden, finally arriving in…

Sky Colosseum

It’s filled to the brim with trainers of all sorts. Balloons, banners and many other decorations flood the area. You see many shacks and other small souvenir shops, but you decide to avoid them, you knew how some people could rip you off. A man in handing out brochures, you take one, and soon you find out it’s about the tournament. The Sky Colosseum Annual Tournament. You read the rules:
1. You must enter with three Pokemon.
2. All battles will be single battles, with no use of items allowed.
3. This tournament is knockout style, meaning that if you lose, you’re disqualified.
4. The two battlers’ Pokemon will not be the only Pokemon on the field. The Colosseum will also release some Pokemon from their cages to attack any foe it deems fit.
5. The winner of the tournament will receive a prize as well as the title ‘Champion of the Sky’.

Pushing your way through the crowd, you finally reach the registration office. The line is not too long, about three people. After a few minutes, you reach the front and see the receptionist. “Hello, are you registering for the Tournament.” She asks. You answer with a nod of your head. “Excellent, I’ll just to see your Trainer Card and you’ll need to tell me the three Pokemon you’ll be entering with.” She says.

What will you do?

After finished your delicious breakfast, you ponder over where you should go to first. Ultimately, you choose the Fountain Garden, thinking of nice, tranquil and relaxing pools of water, compared to the sandy dunes of the Oasis. You thank Matthew and Melissa for the stay, ignoring Mark, then ask for directions. Matthew is the first to respond. “Well first, just walk north for a while, you’ll reach the Sky Gate. From there, you’ll find directions to everywhere in the Cloud Garden.” He says. You then head off, Swinub at your feet, towards the Sky Gate. Within half an hour, you reach the Sky Gate, then you ask a guide for directions to the Fountain Garden. She directs you in the direction you’re meant to go and you follow, swiftly arriving in…

Fountain Garden

You expect to see beautiful fountains, waterfalls and clear lakes surrounding you, alongside Water Pokemon playfully splashing in puddles and gracefully swimming. Instead, all you is raw sewage in the pools, the waterfalls blocked by trash and Grimer, Trubbish, Koffing roaming the area, spewing out toxic fumes. A flash of silver crosses the sky, and you look up. The silver flash turns around, flying towards you. As it nears, you identify it as a Skarmory. But what really surprises you is the rider. On the Skarmory’s back… is Mark.

What will you do?

With a battle with a spunky Spearow raging on, you relay your orders to Cyndaquil, who nods his head acknowledgement. Spearow, with its enhanced speed, begins, swooping down to show you what an Aerial Ace it is. Cyndaquil tries to dodge it, but with Aerial Ace’s deadly accuracy and Spearow’s high speed, Cyndaquil suffers a direct hit. Fortunately, Spearow has to turn around to face Cyndaquil, meaning that it is against the Tailwind now. Cyndaquil gets up and fires off another Hidden Power, light blue orbs speeding towards Spearow, knocking him out of the sky. Spearow gets back up, and charges towards Cyndaquil, its beak glowing black, trying to Assure its victory. Cyndaquil easily dodges it by jumping over Spearow, but now the Tailwind is supporting Spearow. Cyndaquil aims and fires a barrage of Swift stars, which Spearow easily dodges. However, the stars turn around, pelting the unsuspecting Spearow in the back. Cyndaquil lets loose another barrage of the Swift stars, which Spearow doesn’t even bother to dodge this time around as it begins to get cloaked in a harsh light.

What will you do?

The Rose Arch

Uhhhhh

With the sharp thorned roses wrapping around your legs every moment, you order the unharmed monkey duo to use Fury Swipes to destroy the vines which constrict you. They heed their orders, furiously slashing away at the roses, destroying them within seconds, with such accuracy that they manage not to get a scratch on you. You thank your Pokemon for their help, but then remember the Whimsicott. You rush down the pathway, and take the same turn that the Whimsicott took. The next hallway is long, and filled with less roses, much less than the last hall. No chance of you sneezing here. You start to slow down to catch your breath, but then you trip over something. Looking back, you see a cut tripwire. You look forward as a massive tree stump is swung towards you.

What will you do?

"The gruntiest of grunts? What does that even mean... And why were they speaking in unison? Hmph, maybe they give that speech a lot..." muttered Joshua, thoroughly confused by this organisational mentality. "Bishop, Aegis, great job you two. Take a rest for now," he continued, recalling them into their respective Pokéballs. They'd done well, but those grunts had been more of a challenge than he was comfortable with. What if he had to battle an administrator who was significantly stronger? He supposed he'd just have to burn that bridge when he came to it.

For now, all he could do was go deeper into the building, and search for the Granbull's former owner. One right turn later, Joshua found himself in a room with two orange floor panels. They didn't exactly look safe. A poster was on the wall between them, so he moved closer to inspect it, in case it shed some sort of light on things here, but was interrupted by a sharp, high-pitched squeal. Mincinno? She was gone, out of his bag and out of the room. Suddenly, he understood. These were warp panels. But which had she taken? No way to tell... So, Joshua resorted to a tried-and-true method of making decisions.

"Eeny, meeny, miny, mo. Catch an Arcanine by the toe. If he roars, let him go, or he'll Fire Blast you or something, eeny, meeny, miny, mo." And with that, he stepped onto the panel to his right.

OOC: I'm ok with sticking with him as a Squirtle for now, I'll just try not to use him during the rest of the adventure. Just makes more sense from an RP perspective.

Also, since Aegis levels up to level 20, he learns Rapid Spin as of this post. Woo.

The battle with the Spearow waged on. Each side delivered blows to the other, although Cyndaquil seemed to be a bit more successful. After the barrage of Swift attacks, the Spearow began to glow, cloaked in a harsh light.

"What's it up to?" Chad said out loud. Cyndaquil looked at Chad in agreement. "Is that an attack? Is it evolving?" Chad had never seen anything like this happening. "Cyndaquil, we need to finish this fast. I don't know what this glowing is doing to or for it."

Cyndaquil squeaked in acknowledgement and prepared for his orders.

"Let's see. We should probably prepare in case this is an attack. Surround yourself in Smokescreen. Next combine Swift with Hidden Power (Electric)." Chad hoped the electricity of the Hidden Power attack would be attracted to the Swift stars to deliver a more powerful attack.

Alice's fondness of walking was well known to be on the negative, particularly where hilly terrain was concerned. However, it only took half an hour and the scenery was lush, until they reached their destination. She scowled, gagging as she covered her nose with her wrist, taking in the unfortunate view.

Everything was contaminated. How was she to find such an exquisite berry in a place like this? Swinub shuddered and groaned, his sensitive little nose not liking the environment one bit. Up above, speeding silver caught her eye, and squinting, she realised it was the steel bird Pokemon, Skarmory - and Mark was on its back.

"If we have to do battle, I don't know if you'll last long with your nose like that." She said to her starter offhandedly, expecting yet another conflict. What was this kid's problem, seriously? "Don't be offended, but I might have to switch you out for a bit, okay? I just don't want you suffering."

He snorted pitifully, the pair waiting to see what the unwelcome runt wanted this time.

Update #57 (December 27, 2012)

Happy Holidays!

Sorry it took so long to update! Since these are late Christmas updates they will now be known as Holiday Updates. =P With this I’d like to start updating regularly again, hopefully will be able to do a quick fire update round this weekend or next, but will try to update again tomorrow or the day after if anyone replies before then.

Also, I’d like to welcome Kindrindra, Allishinca, Missingno.Master & Trepie into my group! Hope you enjoy your stay in the Cloud Garden! Without any more delays, here are the updates!

Rainbow Road
Pest: Look back here.

Missingno. Master : With two completely different Shuppets by your side, you decide to explore the colorful and stunning looking road known as Rainbow Road, under protest of one of your Shuppets. The road’s beauty is really something, reflecting the light coming from the sky, giving it an almost mystical aura. While not terribly exciting, the calmness and feel of the place seems to bring joy to anyone, anyone who is not Myrtle anyway. The place is overflowing with positive energy, from the multicolored flowers growing on the rainbow floor, to the bright blue sky. You can hear the chirping of bird Pokémon, as well as the occasional laughter of people nearby, eating picnics with their Pokémon, or having Pokémon battles.

Everything seems okay, until you hear somebody scream behind you “HELP!!!” You turn your head and see a little boy, no more than 10 years old running towards you and your Shuppets, “PLEASE HELP ME SIR!!!” The boy screams to you as he gets closer and he is 3-5 feet away from you in a few seconds, wearing a baseball hat with a plain blue t-shirt and shorts with sneakers, panting. “Please help me, my Shuckle is hurt! Please come with me, hurry!!!” The boy seems quite desperate for you to follow him, eyeing your Shuppets carefully as he awaits your answer. Myrtle seems a little wary as she looks at the boy...

How will you respond?

Space Path
pengyzu: Look back here.

KratosAurion: Look back here.

Kindrindra: Thinking about the possibility of uncovering many, if not all, the mysteries this golden road will lead you to discover, you decide to start your adventure with Sundance by your side. You can see the beautiful lush colors of the Cloud Garden below the semi-transparent golden glowing ground, albeit a little more golden than usual, along with your pal on shoulder. The sky around you seems to be changing as well as you advance further into wherever the road is taking you, from light blue to darkened blue colors, with hints of bright lights scattered about.

Suddenly, you hear something; you look around and see nothing, until Sundance begins to screech and point you to the direction of where the sound is coming from, only she is pointing above. You see what appears to be a meteor, and it seems to be getting closer by the second. It is coming towards you! Though it doesn’t seem like it’ll land on you, you get down to the floor with Sundance since it looks like it'll collide in a few seconds. Within seconds you can feel the floor golden colored ground tremble below you. You look around and see smoke, about half a mile away from you. It seems something has landed on the side of the road, not in the direction of the path is supposed to take you to go into space. While going to investigate might be an option, it seems like it'll be a detour from your original path towards space...

What will you do?

Memory Lane:
Trepie: “Never a dull moment in Fizzy bubbles...” you think to yourself as you make your way down Memory Lane, and you’d be right. The area appears to be beautiful at first sight, breathtaking even, with carefully arranged flowers displayed occasionally on top of the gray concrete floor, or next to small trees, both with pictures of Pokémon and people. The beautiful exterior of the area seems to be covered in a gloomy aura, with people and Pokémon sitting down next to some flowers and just staring at them, with other trainers such as yourself taking a look around with their Pokémon.

You continue walking down the path, with Athene, that is until you suddenly stop moving midway through your next step, not voluntarily, but as if something has frozen you completely, weighing you down except for your eyes. You look around to the best your ability and see the area get darker, alarming you even more, and it seems that Tangrowth is just as surprised by this as her eyes widen. You and Athene continue to try and take a look around and see nothing in front of you but the slow darkening of the area. Finally, you continue on that step, turning your body around to take a look at what happened, and see nothing, the people, Pokémon and flowers seem to have disappeared!

Suddenly, Athene cries for your attention, and you turn to see a black, thick, smoke like substance materialize in front Athene, no bigger than a foot in length, height and width. The smoke begins to swirl, becoming bigger as it keeps spinning. You can help but back down a little as the smoke seems to be expanding, but it finally stops as the cloud of smoke expands to about 4 feet. Two smoke hands sprout from the smoke, and the smoke stays still for a second before moving a little closer to you and Athene, about 5 feet away from Athene, releasing a loud groan as it stops moving…

How will you respond?

Rose Arch
Shuckle: You decide to go forward, deeper into the Rose Arch in order to hopefully find some help for the Nidoran, despite having advanced so little. With the Nidoran having little energy to do anything at the moment, it seems like you’ll have to carry it, which it struggles at first as you slowly scoop it up, but settles down after a few second. Fizz doesn’t seem to be in bad shape, but the wear of the battle seems to have taken its toll as he walks with you, slower than usual.

You keep walking forward for a good while, until you notice something ahead, some sort of wall. You take a few more steps forward and see a rather large, and beautiful, looking house, one floor high, with cream walls and red rooftop. You also see a large garden in front, and that’s when you notice something else, a woman and man sitting on the ground in front of two large flower bushes, both no older than 30 years old, and both of them dressed similarly, in red shirts with blue jeans. They both seem to be tending to the flowers, and cutting the odd leafs here and there, “Nya?” the Nidoran looks up at you, looking slightly better, with Shuckle walking up behind you. The lady take a look around, and finally spots you. Her eyes widen as she sees you, "John!" she yelps, which gets the man's attention, with the lady pointing at you. He sees you and gets up rather quickly, "Who are you? What do you want?" he asks, looking quite startled to see you...

How will you respond?

Stardust Fields
kaisap112: Kitty nods at you, running around the room as quickly as she can, creating two copies of herself in the process with Double Team. “Alright, Rapidash, Stomp that pink furball until you find the real one, then continue Stomping her!” The Rapidash neighs angrily, rushing towards the closest Skitty copy, Stomping through the Kitty mirage. The Rapidash quickly sets in to another Kitty and Stomps on it, and you sigh in relief as the hooves of the Rapidash pass through Kitty and into the ground. Kitty quickly takes this opportunity to ram head first into the Rapidash, covered herself in a layer of psychic energy as she uses Zen Headbutt on the Rapidash. The Rapidash takes a step back, huffing, as the attacks finally seem to be wearing it down resonably, but taking a look at Kitty, she doesn’t seem to be doing much better. The Rapidash makes its way to Kitty once again, trying to Stomp her, and just before she gets smashed by the attack, a Water Pulse hits the Rapidash in the face, and you see that Minori is wide awake, ready to help his teammate once again. The Rapidash shakes its wet head, panting in both anger and from the damage it has taken, Kitty as well, though Minori seems to be doing much better than both after his almost uninterrupted nap. The man chuckles as he sees the tides turning towards you, “No, no, we won’t let this happen! Rapidash, use Megahorn to take down the Skitty, then Poison Jab the Seel. If the cat is still standing, use a Take Down on it to finish the job, otherwise focus on taking down the Seel!”

What will you do now?

Comet's Corner
YDT:
Skubble and Pinochlette rush towards the Boldore, who seems to be preparing for the impact as it begins to glow once again, Hardening his defenses as it braces for the attack. You can see the Boldore plant its feet on the ground a few seconds before both Pokémon make contact with it. The impact makes the Boldore make marks on the ground with its firmly planted legs on the ground, being pushed back by both Skubble and Pinochlette’s Strength. The attack seems to be effective at first but eventually slows down as the Boldore gets closer to the edge of the hill. It doesn’t seem like it’ll work, until both Pokémon use everything they have on the attack, launching the Boldore off the hill, rolling down, with a thunderous sound, before you hear a loud thud as it lays motionless on the bottom, KO’ed.

“Pi-Pichu!” The small electrical rodent exclaims, climbing up your body, tickling you as it makes its way up before it finally makes it to your shoulder, to plant a small peck on your cheek and hug your face and neck before jumping off, just as Swablu lands on your other shoulder and rubs itself affectionately. “Pichu-Pi!” the rodent exclaims, as if to ask you to follow it. Skubble looks quite tired, panting quite hard as both Skubble and Pinochlette rush back to you. It seems like the battle has taken its toll, it might be a good idea to heal it or do something to help it…

What will you do now?

MarbleZone: The man opens the door completely, and you can finally see the tall looking man with pepper colored hair, red colored plaid shirt with rolled up sleeves and slightly dirty jeans looking at you with doubt in his grayish eyes. “Like my friend said, we are in need of any help you can give us.” You can sense the light and friendly tone Christian is trying to project, even under his condition, trembling slightly as the pain seems to be coming back. The man only stares at you and Christian before blinking and answering, “Bandits…? I’m sorry boys; there is nothing I can do…” It seems like your chance to try and get the man’s attention and help is over as he takes a step back and begins to close the door, “Wait! Please!” Christian cries, trying to engage the man once more.

The door stops halfway through before you hear a voice, “Stanley, who is at the door?” The voice of an old woman seems to be coming from a room nearby, inside the house. “Nobody, sweetheart, it’s just some trainers that are leaving!” You can hear steps coming closer before you hear the man again, “It’s alright. I’m handling it!” But it seems like whoever was coming closer to the door wants to take a look themselves as the halfway opened door opens again, “Oh my!” she yelps as she sees you and Christian, hand on her cheek, “Good heavens! What happened to you???” “I ran into some thieves and I think I broke my ankle-“But before Christian can continue explaining the old lady signals you to get inside, “Right this way!” The old lady with white hair, light blue dress with a white apron quickly ushers you and Christian in. You can see the displeased face of the man, but can’t really do anything for now. The lady stands next to a door right beside the entrance, “This way, on the couch.” You quickly help Christian into the room and help him lay down on the couch. The room seems to be quite big as you take a look around. The walls are wooden, or at least look like wood, with a beautiful crystal chandelier in the center and two big comfortable looking couches facing a TV. The long curtains seem to be covering the windows in the two sides, one looking towards the corral and the other in the direction of the entrance.

“Okay, let’s see…” The old lady takes off the shoes and socks off of Christian’s foot, “Oh!” she exclaims looking slightly worried, which makes you take a peek at Christian’s incredibly swollen ankle, “What’s wrong?” He asks slightly alarmed, to which the lady answers with a smile, “Nothing, it should be fine with a little ice and rest. I’ll be right back.” She then makes her way to the hallway. After a few seconds you notice Karrablast is missing, but before you can call for it then man speaks from the door you entered from, “Your Karrablast didn’t seem to want to enter, so it is waiting outside.” You decide to take a look at the Karrablast yourself with Christian being tended to on the couch and head outside for a moment, seeing the Karrablast look inside the house from the steps outside the porch. “Marrrr!” screeches something in the direction of the corral, “Karra?” The Karrablast looks towards that direction, with you following to the side of the porch, holding on to the rail, you see the Mareep trying to run around from two black shadows that look like wolves or dogs…

What will you do?

Nagasaki: Blazer relays the message of the Glameow, who seems disappointed that the battle will be postponed, at least until tomorrow. Peter chuckles as he sees the Glameow stare at Blazer, "Haha, sure! I'll definitely want to watch and referee the battle or Anne if she wants to. It looks like it'll be a good entertaining match! First thing's first!" He yawns, clearly tired as is everyone who got hit by the events of the forest. "We should go rest, and I don't think I have enough energy to make it to my ranger post. I think we'll have to go with Anne to her post and spend the night there..." Before Peter gets a chance to move a vine is waved in front of you and Peter, the vines coming from the green quadruped with a leaf on its head, "Chiko-Chiko! Chi-Chiko!" You take a look at Blazer as the Chikorita keeps talking, "It's saying thank you for helping its friends" Blazer explains, "Chikorita, Rita, Chiko!" This time the Chikorita's voice sounds full of concern and determination, "And it wants to help find the ones responsible for what has happened to avenge its friends". "Well, we can certainly use all the help we can get! Welcome to the team Chikorita! Let’s go take a rest now!”

Before long, everyone heads to Ann’s cabin, which luckily doesn’t seem to be too far, and it looks slightly bigger than the post that Peter had. “I’m sorry, I don’t have enough beds! I have two couches though, they are really comfortable!” Anne says apologetically, to which Peter answers, “Nonsense, they are fine!” You both then make yourselves at home and sleep for the night in the couches, with the Chikorita & Glameow sleeping in the porch outside the post.

----------------------------

“Hey, wake up!” You open your eyes with Peter grinning at you, “It’s time to get up! I’m surprised you haven’t felt Glameow’s stare for the past half an hour!” You then see Glameow waiting for you by the door. It hisses at you before running to the back of the cabin. “Chikorita left early in the morning to search around the last area that was on fire. So, would you like to have the fight with Glameow now? If so just go over to your side of the field and order your attacks!” As you walk outside you see a large battling field, with Glameow waiting on one side…

How will you respond?

Thrain: You can hear the struggling of the trainers from the front of the Pokémon Center, who seem to be too busy defending the front to respond, as they are telling their Pokémon attack orders. You then hear someone running to the door you are in front of, “They are all busy, but I can help you!” you hear a girl no more than 12 years old tell you, holding a Cubchoo in her hands, and right at that moment you hear something metallic get thrown inside the room, the door that once stopped the spiders from coming in. Cypress releases a cloud made of spores, using Sleep Powder on the two Ariados and two Galvantula that are coming out, which seems to work on the first four spiders as they run into the chair or wall before falling asleep with the sleep inducing attack. Meanwhile two more Ariados and a Galvantula come out of the vent, all of which are met with a blast to the face by Blaze’s Flamethrower, screeching in pain, running around to put out the fire. You then see a small blue figure run past you, and heads towards the Ariados, Slashing one of the Ariados in the face, “Good job Snowy!” She then turns to you, “I’ll handle one of the Ariados, and you can take on the other two! Be careful not to wake up the Ariados and Galvantula that are sleeping on the sides!” She warns you, standing outside the room as her Cubchoo growls at the Ariados with the Aridos and Galvantula pair locking looks with Blaze and Cypress...

What will you do?

(If you want to do a double battle, you can use two attack per Pokémon per round)

ChaoticHell83: Look back here.

biggggg5: “You got it, Big! Pandora, come on out!” A flash blinds the whole area for a second as Krys releases Pandora from its Pokéball and a small caterpillar appears right next to Hercules. “Piiiii!” the little Caterpie cries out, eyes wide open as it stares into the Machamp statue before it wiggles back a little, looking quite scared. “Pandora, use String Shot on the Machamp statue’s eyes!” The Caterpie cries out a nervous squeak before spitting a silk string like substance at the Machamp, hitting it on the face and wrapping around its head. “Good job!” Krys tells Pandora, but it seems the Machamp isn’t affected by the String Shot to the face as it starts to move towards Hercules and Pandora. The Machamp begins to rush towards both Pokémon but raises its hand and brings it down quickly towards Pandora, trying to Karate Chop her, “Piiiii!” she screams, jumping back to dodge the attack rushing back to her trainer. Hercules begins to concentrate, as a ball appears between his hands, sending the fighting energy filled ball towards the Machamp, making the Machamp falter and fall to the ground, growling. The Machamp gets up as if nothing happened, before rushing in towards Hercules and Karate Chopping him, with Hercules trying to protect himself from the attack, but the force of the attack brings Hercules to his knees. The Machamp backs down after the attack, with Hercules regaining his stance, charging up another Focus Blast, sending the ball of energy towards the Machamp again. The Machamp tries to cover itself from the attack, and as soon as the explosion from the attack disappears you can start to see small cracks on the Machamp’s arms. The Nuzleaf runs towards Hercules, while panting slightly, giving Hercules a nod, ready to help him if he wants it.

(I’ve recently been informed that it is required for updates to reply in the third person perspective, so I would really appreciate it if you could. Thanks in advance!) While left wondering where your Shuckle got his books, the nurse quickly responds, “You are looking for a Dweeble?” She sees the little girl nod, wiping away a tear and sniffling, “Yeah…” “Hmmm…” Nurse Joy scratches her head as she thinks, “Well, I heard that someone found a Dweeble around the ruins of where the Farquard tribe once lived. You-” “Oh! I know where that is!” the little girl interrupts, looking slightly better as she hears that, still sniffling a little. The nurse chuckles as she pats the little girl on the head, looking at you now, “You might also be able to find them near “Rock City” that’s the part of the dessert where most rock types gather.” “I know where that is as well!” “Haha, good. Well you are going to need goggles... Wait a minute!” The nurse quickly makes her way to her counter, before disappearing behind it, “I should have quite a few pairs of goggles, so I can give them to you if you need them. Here we are!” Nurse Joy places two adjustable goggles on the counter. “That should help you if you want to go explore the Burnt Forest Desert for the Dweeble, as both locations I’ve told you about are located there. Anyway, if you need anything else, just let me know!” The nurse smiles at you both as you both thank her, resuming her work on her computer. “Where do you think we should go?” Jamie asks you as she picks up her goggles from the counter, with yours still on the counter…

What will you do now?

Allishinca Your little rascal for a partner, named Little Gar, seems to be having the time of his life in this area as you start your adventure, swinging from burnt tree branches to burnt tree branches, with you watching with worry as his many close calls with the weak branches happen, but you seem to have other things in mind as well, wanting to find out what happened in these barren lands so long ago. It seems like the fire left little to admire here, as you continue to walk past burnt trees and ash. You can hear the random Geodude grumbling and rolling around, but they don’t seem to want to get anywhere near you as they roll away when you get close to them.

It doesn’t seem like anything is going to happen, that is until you then notice a rather odd looking ball on the ground. Little Gar also sees you looking at the curious looking ball and comes down from the tree, completely mesmerized by the ball before taking a step closer to it, and just as he does, the wheat colored ball unrolls, revealing a mouse like creature. “Sannnnnnd“, it yawns, rubbing its eyes. It then turns its head towards you and Little Gar, “Sand?” it asks with its head tilted, as if trying to ask what you want or what you are doing there…

How will you respond?

As Keith wandered the Rainbow Road, Helena gleefully took in the various sights and sounds, while Myrtle rolled her eyes frequently, muttering various things under her breath in Shuppet language. At several points, Keith had to turn and give her a look in response to something she said. Yes, it was a fine day, otherwise... and then came the scream for help. Keith wheeled around in alarm to see a 10 year old boy running up to him. Helena looked concerned, while Myrtle looked rather wary of the youth. He seemed rather distraught as he begged Keith to follow him, stating that his Shuckle was hurt.'

"Oh, that is ter-ri-ble," Helena said. Her voice, though spoken in a stutter that was decidedly creepy, was unmistakably sympathetic. "Oh, Keith, Myr-tle, we must help!"

"I'm inclined to agree with you, Helena," Keith nodded. "Oh, I'm Keith," he added to the boy. "And these are my Shuppet. This is Myrtle, and this is Helena."

"Hold on, Meat Sack," Myrtle butted in. "I am fee-ling some-what wa-ry of this whole thing..."

"You say that about everything," Keith said dismissively. "Just because you eat negative emotions, that doesn't mean you have to be so negative about everything."

"I am not ne-ga-tive a-bout e-ver-y-thing, Meat Sack," Myrtle snapped.

"Oh, you're not?" chuckled Keith. "OK, name three times you've been positive on anything."

"I do not need to prove my-self to you, Meat Sack," Myrtle snapped again. "All I know for sure is, I have a bad fee-ling."

"Still, a Pokemon in trouble, I can't ignore that," argued Keith as he turned to face the boy again. "Lead the way," he added. "We'll be glad to help."

Shaana begins to charge and then fires a multi colored beam towards the Psyduck, hitting the aquatic creature with Psybeam, which sends the Psyduck to it's side, still asleep, but barely, as it seems to be have been hurt by the attack. Shaana disappears as she floats around, filled with dark energy, until she drops on the sleeping Psyduck and slams into it with Pursuit, making it quack in pain as it wakes up, quite upset that it was woken up. It puffs it cheeks and then releases a powerful stream of water towards Shaana, hitting her with Water Gun, soaking her completely again and sending the levitating Pokémon flying back a little before regaining its balance in the air, slightly protected by the shield in front of it. The Psyduck quacks in a low tone, slightly angry, circling around Shaana, while she stares at the Psyduck, both Pokémon waiting for the other to make the next move...

What will you do?

As soon as the Psyduck fell asleep, Shaana set up her barrier, then proceeded to fiercely attack the duck. Needless to say, the duck was not amused from being attacked in it's sleep. In it's anger, the duck fired a Water Gun at the Dream Eater. It knocked Shaana off balance a bit, but nothing too bad. He looked at one of his empty Pokeballs, then at the Psyduck, and wondered if it was safe to throw it. It didn't take long to make that decision. He shook his head, and decided to weaken it a little more.

Scott commanded his Pokemon. "Ok Shaana, you're doing great. We got it on the ropes now! Let's keep this going. Use Captivate to find out this thing's gender, and weaken him further if it's male. Then use another Psybeam, finally use Moonlight to restore some health if he damages you."

(I was planning on switching back to third person anyways. I just needed a bit of practice I guess.)

James returned Euen and swiped one of the goggle pairs from the counter, adjusting them to fit his head. “Those ruins are the only place where a Dwebble has actually been spotted. Rock City might have one, but we’re better off checking those ruins.” He said, knowing that he was better off not pushing his luck with the city. His luck hasn't been amazing as of late.

“Thanks for your help, ma’am. I’m sure our pokémon will end up being useful in one way or another.” James said, nodding to the nurse. As he began to walk out of the Pokemon Center to the Burnt Forest Desert, assuming Jamie would be following him, a question came to mind for Jamie. “If you don’t mind me asking, how did you get Pixie? I haven’t seen a Vulpix yet besides yours.” James prepped a pokeball in his hand as well; he liked having easy access to one of them.

OOC: At last... Birthday boy, coming through.

Refreshed and invigorated, the trainer rises up on his bed, and arrived to greet his opponent. "Looks like you are ready.", said the trainers, trusty companion. "I'm ready as well. Better watch out! I will never spare you!" With flames surrounding him, the Torchic and his trainer prepared for battle. With crimson eyes, Nagasaki seems like he wants to see blood spouting out of his enemy...but of course it's just his imagination. All fired up, Nagasaki leaves a word on Glameow and Peter. "You'd better prepare for the worse. I will use all wits to defeat you. Peter, let's do this!" He then draws his wooden sword and cast it on the air, pointed it on Glameow and began ordering Blazer. "Blazer, begin this round by poisoning puss. Toxic, followed by Flocus Energy! Once he attacks, counter it wth a Night Slash!"

Big's eyes narrow at the cracks that formed on the stone arms of the Machamp statue. hmm. I wonder... he thinks. "Krys, have Pandora back off, I have an idea!" Big shouts to the female trainer. "Nuzleaf, can you use bullet seed on the machamp's chest? It doesn't have to do too much damage but just enough to get it to cross its arms again. Hercules once it crosses its arms I want you to use brick break on the arms where it cracked." Hercules nods and glances at the Nuzleaf. "Thanks for your assistance soldier, we really appreciate it." He says to the grass type. Suddenly Big gets another idea. "Krys! See if you can have Pandora make a torch out if her string shot. Then Hotstuff can light it and rest more efficiently in his Pokeball." He says to the girl. I really need Hotstuff to rest, if he gets overworked that would be really bad
