Hmm, might as well note this down here.
Finish school with the good grades you're capable of instead of the decent grades you get without doing anything. |

Resolutions? Yeah, I suppose. "Figure out what I'm doing with my life" is pretty much the number one resolution I have, but it's also probably the most difficult, so I'll list the more attainable ones here:
-Finish the 30 day poetry challenge/exchange with my cousin (1 day down, 29 to go) -Improve my Spanish even more than last year -Obtain a fellowship so that I can spend some time writing -Finish a book of poetry, regardless of my fellowship status -Eat healthier/exercise more often -Buy a new dream journal and actually maintain it -Reconnect with old friends Of course, I make all of these resolutions with the caveat that I have no idea what's in store for me next year... any positive changes would be welcome.

I thought of another resolution for this year. I resolve to become a part of history and help make something happen. This is my one resolution to supercede all of the others because that is the most important of them all by far.

I am really liking all these cool resolutions!
My resolution is to learn to box. I don't know where I could find boxing classes though. I also resolve to make friends. Shouldn't be too hard. I made like 4 already so we're off to a rip roaring start. Can't wait till school starts and I can actually do stuff with them instead of just communicate through text (which of course I have to initiate every time because why would anyone WANT to talk to me????)

Well might as well write this down so I Actually have something to make myself feel bad with next year if I don't do any of it.
- Find a decent paying part-time job once I get back to Australia (No thank you, fast food.) - Get serious about my final year of high school, finish with high marks and get into the Uni I want. - Take up another language (Indonesian/Chinese/German/Italian/Spanish/Korean, I haven't chosen yet), study said language in Japanese, since my level in that amazingly progressed to near-native level in 2014. - Get my drivers license. I've been thinking of doing so since I was able to almost three years ago now, but focussing on getting to Japan sort of put this on the backburner n.n'' - Get a car to go with said license. - Maintain my relationship with my amazing girlfriend, even though it's going to have to become long-distance for a while. - Cut video game playing waaaaaaaaaay back. - Save at least $10,000 to give me enough to set up for university and to get back to Japan as an exchange student once more (hopefully living with my girlfriend). - Cut my unneeded internet time out, replace it with useful things. - Continue eating healthier like I have this year. - Exercise more. - Stay happy with my body like I've become this year. For ASB- - Defeat someone notable in a match that doesn't end in DQ. That's a lot of things, but I think it's pretty achieveable :P

I resolve to
- Play all of my Steam games (already played several and completed a few since the start of the year) - Particularly Skyrim, something that is actually important for me to do for personal reasons I won't disclose right now - Overcome my depression as best as I can - Slowly come around back to UPN again, and to be a more social person in general, including reuniting with online friends. - Try harder than before to find my purpose - Play more music - Better myself in my mind, body (especially), and soul - Eat better, enjoy life more, and continue treat everyone with kindness and respect as best as I can I'm sorry I haven't been around. Something happened a few months ago that left me devastated and essentially had me retreating from a lot of social activity aside from seeing one or two close friends and my girlfriend, despite how badly inside I wanted to reach out to everyone I could. Some of you have tried getting into contact with me, messaging me, etc., and I'm sorry if I've ignored you, it's been a struggle. I also realize this probably just isn't really the most appropriate thread to be posting this, but I needed to get it off of my chest, and doing that is the first step to getting better for the new year. |

Time for 2016 resolutions. 2015 sucked which I'm confirming for why...actually I did do a fair few of those things eventually.
-Get a job -Save up money and fight the urge to spend it on Yu-Gi-Oh cards and Steam. Or Kancolle and F/GO. -Start going through all my books and stuff and getting them a new home -Get in better shape and lose some weight -Come out as transgender to my grandmothers (already in the works, but I don't want to renege out of fear at the last minute) -Move to Canada and start my own life there
