Mew UPN PASBL: dirkac Vs. TheKnightsFury

Quote:
Dirkac vs TKF
3 Vs. 3
Double Battle
Switch = KO
Equiall 2
72 Hour DQ
Arena: Kilionea Road
Kilionea Road: Inside.
Kilionea Road is a cave. It takes place directly beneath an active volcano and therefore has a few pools of magma around, steam vents, and earthquakes can cause collapse.
The entire area is made up of narrow passages with extremely low visibility, which connect larger rooms lit up by fluorescent crystals. The Trainers' Pokémon are spawned in a small room with a larger corridor leading out of it into the actual Kilionea Road. There is no exit there. Trainers do not exist, thr Pokémon being out and about on their own.
With an arena like this, this would hopefully be a match that brings some warmth in the winter -- and in a motivating, not drowsy way.

Squads up, please.

Heitralogr the Heatmor (level 2 uplevel male )
Hidden Power: Ground

Type Change: In Hot Water
Heitralogr is now a Fire/Water type with all the associated weaknesses and resistances. He has learned the moves Scald,Water Pulse, Hydro Pump, Muddy Water and Crab Hammer (using his claws). Aesthetically he looks like a regular heatmor except his yellow markings and claws are now royal blue. He has the same amount of control over his water attacks as he does his fire ones, being able to fire them from his mouth, fist or tail. His aggressive and challenging nature has left him vulnerable to attacks that look to enrage him such as taunt, swagger, etc. He never learnt how to use: Bug Bite, Stockpile, Spit Up, Swallow, Overheat, Power-Up Punch, Gastro Acid, Low Kick, Focus Punch, ThunderPunch, Hone Claws, Giga Impact, Faint Attack.

Jadephantom the phantump (lvl 2 female)
Hidden Power: Rock

Special technique: ShadowGas
Using significant ghost type energy, Jadephantom expels a gas version of herself and sends it at the foe. The gas phantom is quite life like as it flies towards the opponent possibly causing then to attack it instead of jade, out of confusion. On contact the gas will enter the will cause the opponent to fall asleep immediately, although this will only last a short while (maximum 2 rounds depending on fatigue). This move cannot effect inorganic pokemon and does not deal any damage. In the process of perfecting this move jadephantom forgot how to use doubleteam, substitute, will o wisp and spite.

Shroud the Zubat (lvl 1 male)
Hidden Power: Grass

Signature Technique- Drone Orb (poison)
Shroud uses a heavy amount of poison energy in order to construct a small floating orb (roughly the size of a zubat). The orb is indestructible and will fade naturally after 4 rounds. At the end of each round the orb will fire an incredibly quick beam of typless energy at the opponent dealing slight damage. However if the opponent is poisoned the attack will deal moderate damage instead due to the poisons reacting strangely with the beam. If there is more than one opponent the drone will select one at random. If Shroud faints any drones will be destroyed. Shroud may only control two drones at the same time and can only use this technique three times per match. He has forgotten how to use pursuit, nasty plot, mean look, brave bird and will never learn giga impact, sky attack or hyper beam as a crobat.

Celestine the Misdreavus (lvl 1 female)
Hidden Power: Fighting

Special Training- Spooky Songstress
Celestine’s enhanced singing voice has led to her learning how to use the moves Relic Song, Parting Shot and Disarming voice. Due to her years practicing and studying to perfect her vocal talents, Celestine forgot how to use the moves curse, nasty plot, foul play, aerial ace, shadow sneak, destiny bond, wonder room, magic room, thunder, calm mind and trick room.

Fornlind the Shieldon (lvl 1 male)
Hidden Power: Water

Type Change- Ancient Barrier
Fornlind is now a steel/ground type with all the associated weaknesses and resistances. He retains familiarity with the rock type. His ancient power may also be used in a ground type variation, ordered as Ground!Ancient Power. He has however never learnt the moves blizzard, thunder, fireblast, stone edge, magnet rise or stealth rock.

Haustein the Cranidos (lvl 1 male)
Hidden Power: Psychic

Going to lead with Heitralogr and Celestine, stay close guys and keep your eyes keen!

Yeah im stupid

Enigma and Aurora went to Kilionea Road.

Enigma: "I, Enigma, think to use a Concentrated Earthquake on Heitralogr and then DC Earthquake Heitralogr."

Aurora: "Freeze-Dry is used on the Heatmor, followed by Charge Beam on the Heatmor too."

Hydreigon Round 1: Weak Point

Wisely enough, the trainers do not even bother to enter the arena. In whatever way Pokemon in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon get to areas in dungeons that have no direct exits for leaving, the four Pokemon just appear there, a Trapinch and Amaura on one side, and a Heatmor and Misdreavus on the other.

Quote:
Trapinch (Ground): Trapinch are great diggers and can do so stealthily with ease and speed. They can hide easily within sandy environments and hey fight more enthusiastically in sandy or dusty areas. They can see in the dark. Their large jaws make their biting attacks more effective.

Amaura (Rock/Ice): Amaura's body is extremely frigid. Using a move, Amaura can chill their body, making any physical attacks listed as XX Ice-typed for the duration of the battle. Using 10% more energy, they can also increase the chance of their Ice-typed moves freezing their target by 5%. Any Pokémon coming in contact with them will be chilled similarly to Icy Wind.

Heatmor (Fire): Heatmor are constantly producing and releasing fire, which can burn the foe with prolonged contact and be used for illumination. Heatmor can release fire from their mouth, fists and tail, allowing them to attack in a variety of fashions. Fire attacks issued from their mouth will be long and thin but easier to direct for a more centered hit, or used like a whip to lash the foe for a guaranteed hit but slightly less damage. Their powerful forelimbs allow them to dig with ease and grant them a 1.2x boost to attacks using their claws.

Misdreavus (Ghost): Misdreavus will usually stay in the ethereal state but can switch to solid or invisible if required. Misdreavus levitate by default but have a lower flight ceiling than most levitating Pokémon and are not particularly fast.
Enigma is truly up to his namesake, his expression difficult to gauge when most of his face consists of a huge mouth, which is already chomping the thin air. Aurora, meanwhile, does not seem to be very appreciative of her surroundings at all. The Trapinch decides to live up to his name. While it is perfectly in his power to target the one opponent he wants to hit, he decides to also attack his partner for a super effective hit in the process. He swings his body up, and then, he suddenly thrusts it down and in front, slamming his head into the ground with such force that shockwaves travel through. The Earthquake causes the lava to move slightly, Heitralogr grunting in pain, but the Amaura also being forced to let out a squeak. She tries to keep her cool, deciding that, for some reason, she wants to draw the moisture out of her fiery opponent. She exhales a dry, cold gust of air -- the former quality not as difficult to maintain as the latter -- briefly surrounding the Heatmor with a thick haze. He, even while standing, defends himself with his arms, hugging himself to drive off the cold. Strange. As a Fire Type, he should not mind this much... but somehow, his partial Water Typing is being exploited to make this a neutral hit.

The Heatmor is quick to catch on and realize that his opponents are targeting him first and foremost. He is more threatened than his partner is, and, as such, he needs to give even harder an effort. Deciding to do even worse than what has been inflicted upon him, he puts his hands closer, but instead of flames, a bright orange energy comes out in a steady stream. He moves his hands in a spiral, until the two streams combine to form a single large orb of light. He decides to turn the Focus towards a single of his opponents, too; he launches the sphere in the direction of the Pokemon most vulnerable to it, Blasting Aurora for calamitous damage... although her attempt to get out of the way is somewhat successful. She is knocked off her feet, unable to handle this damage as well as the previous. But what is this...? Celestine's gaze seems to be directed towards her other adversary. Is she not going to help her partner? As it turns out, however, her attempt to incapacitate the Trapinch is very much for her ally's good. Her eyes glow brightly, and a Ray of mysterious blue light shoots out, aiming to Confuse the Trapinch. The attempt is... successful.

With Enigma confused... he is unable to really do anything. The Amaura, for now, has to stand alone, combating two powerful opponents at once, even though even just one of them means trouble for her. The temperatures are weighing down upon her, too. Grunting, she decides to try and make herself stronger. If she can make herself appear more threatening, then perhaps... her adversaries might back off? She channels her interesting electric potential, her body surrounded by bright golden sparks, as she concentrates most of them into a crackling Beam. It lances through the Water Type, and, much to Aurora's relief, she feels the excess energy making her Special Attack increase. Determined to not let her take advantage of this, however, Heitralogr this time simply starts releasing a spiral of energy from his mouth, the resulting stream spinning in place like a horizontal tornado... until it becomes dense enough for its shape to transition of that of a sphere. Another Blast follows, but even this Focus is, this time, enough keep the Ice Type from trying to hop out of the way -- attacks of this magnitude do not always work as well against Pokemon this fresh, but the attack is much weakened in this instance -- and she takes a hefty sum of damage.

This time around, however, the aloof Ghost Type finally gets to directly supporting her partner, the better to ruin her opponent's day. She finds a very convenient opportunity to draw upon Power she knows is Hidden inside her, launching the orange orbs that start orbiting her following a momentary flash of her eyes towards the Fossil Pokemon. The projectiles accelerate and swarm, before releasing a chain of tiny explosions upon contact with their target. A huge, painful wail erupts... and the Tundra Pokemon falls already. But then... she struggles to her feet. She is not going to go down so quickly. Not without sponging the three mover of the opposing team. Unfortunately for her, Heitralogr is all too happy to oblige. He is going to make her go down right away. He rears his head back, but when he thrusts it out, what comes out is not a blast of fire, but high-pressured, intensely streaming water. The Scalding liquid not only irritates the Ice Type with its temperature, but also takes advantage of the Type that all Fossil Pokemon share. And... it is enough. Aurora falls, but the ironic part is that she would have likely survived this attack if not for the fact that her own partner had attacked her...

Aurora is unable to battle. Next Pokemon, and orders, from dirkac, please.

Enigma is confused, but is fresh and untouched in terms of health.

Heitralogr has fallen to his second third of health, and is tiring, out of Fighting Type energy. Celestine is also untouched, and relatively fresh. She, like her partner, is out of Fighting Type energy.

Camerupt Round 2: Waiting To Erupt

Aurora having fallen in the very first round, she simply... disappears into a beam of light -- similar to those used while escaping a dungeon in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series -- and... as the light dies down, a Lampent floats in the air where the Amaura had been?

Quote:
Lampent (Ghost/Fire): Lampent's flame is made from a ghostly fire which only sheds light when it desires. Though this light can be used to illuminate dark spaces for long periods of time, it can also be turned off so that, despite still burning, they do not illuminate anything. Lampent can levitate. Their arms, despite seeming solid, are actually relatively moveable and prehensile. Lampent are generally solid, with the exception of their flame which counts as ethereal. They can phase temporarily into the ethereal state to lessen damage from moves. Because their flames are ethereal, they are not dealt extra damage if struck with water based moves.
Shimmer sways in the air, the ghostly flames dancing. Enigma is still confused, but she looks to pick up the slack and somehow drag her team out of the situation that the other two Pokemon have landed them in. Her limbs twisting to meet each other, they jab each other a few times, the contact causing Shadows to spark into being in between. She then swings her arms around, and a small shockwave is released as sparks quickly gain area, soon turning into a large, dark purple Ball, sizzling and crackling sounds giving away its shaky, but powerful nature. Celestine, however, is quick to try and discourage this move. Even among her Type, she is known for being rather graceful and alluring, her Voice, like that of other Misdreavus, carrying mysterious power, her chants allegedly able to twist perspectives and fate. She lets out a particularly Disarming cry, which ripples over the Fire Type's body. As the Lamp Pokemon unleashes the attack, the force behind it seems to be less than usual. For a super effective hit, even this much of a reduction in damage is appreciated by the Screech Pokemon's health reserves.

The Trapinch is chomping thin air even more than usual, wildly trying to take down an enemy that does not exist. But he is supposed to deal with one of the adversaries that do. At least he is not backing down from using his moves, this time around. He runs towards his opponent... well, he certainly does. The problem is, he is not aiming for the correct one. Instead of the Pokemon weak to the move, Enigma is, keeping up his utterly mysterious motives, trying to shake up Celestine's mood instead. He jumps up, swinging his head as he imbues it with Ground Type energy, lashing out with the force of an Earhquake. Fortunately for him, she is not the most adept of levitating Pokemon at all. Unfortunately for him, she simply takes the hit in her ethereal state. As he lands, however, Heitralogr decides that it is unsafe to allow the presently more dangerous Pokemon to remain dangerous. As he has demonstrated in the case of Aurora, he seems to believe offense to be the best defense. Surrounding his fist with glowing blue energy of the Water Type, he sends an orb accelerating like a Pulse, swiftly releasing a small explosion as it comes into contact with the Lampent.

It is very well that Shimmer actually seems to want to show off her namesake, and do everything within her power to make repeated attacks seem a little more interesting. Charging some more Shadows, this time into her limbs, she begins to spin at a progressively increasing pace. And yet, she seems to, with each rotation, concentrate her energy at only one point. As the energy gathers, the shape of a Ball is increasingly apparent. Suddenly, the rotation slows down dramatically, before, with one strong slap of the Lampent's limb, the sphere blasts the Misdreavus in the face. The melodious cry of pain finally seems to motivate Enigma to do something worthwhile. He rushes in the correct opponent's direction, surrounding his body with brownish energy. Even as the Heatmor barely raises a hand to defend himself, the small, but enthusiastic Pokemon leaps at him with the force of an Earthquake. Due to the still lingering confusion, the blow is glancing, but it is redeemed by its super effective nature, which even manages to push Heitralogr back a little, despite the significant difference in bulk between the two Pokemon.

Almost grudgingly, Heitralogr refrains from targeting the Pokemon that has just attacked him. Admirably, he seems to be intent on dealing with the Pokemon giving his partner trouble, even if the latter can be aloof when the table are turned against his own favour. He starts to issue a stream of Water Type energy from his mouth, rotating his neck in order to, in a familiar fashion, cause it to spiral, eventually meeting with the other layers of the vortex, and turning into a pale blue orb. Then, with a mighty swing of his head -- causing a whip of blue to strike the sphere -- he launches his work, getting a strong hit on Shimmer. Somehow, as if she has got things a little mixed up, Celestine now decides to not attack the Pokemon directly hurting her, but the other one. Of course, this is a chance that might not repeat itself. Taking inspiration from her partner for once, she unleashes a huge blast of fire, the Inferno very much in tune with the rest of the arena. The Heatmor quickly retreats to get out of the way of his partner's own attack, but due to his confusion starting to subside, the Trapinch also evades quite a lot of it. The partial hit, however, replaces what remained of his confusion with Burns.

Shimmer holds on in his first third of health, and Enigma leads in health over the other three Pokemon. Both are ready to go all out. Enigma is no longer confused, but his side is Burnt.

Heitralogr takes more damage, doing the worst in terms of health, but Celestine also falls out of her first third in that regard. Her Fairy Type energy is still plentiful.

Enigma will use Earth Power on Heitralogr, followed by a Concentrated Earthquake on Heitralogr.

Shimmer will use Will-O-Wisp on Celestine, followed by a Hex.

Empoleon Round 3: Mirror

Heitralogr finally turns his attention to the Pokemon directly threatening him, and also the one right in front of him. He folds his claws, and, then, with all his might, he strikes his opponent. His orders may have not specified as clearly, but his opponent is very close to him, and it does not matter either way. The blow connects with a sound that resembles that of a falling Hammer, and the pincer-mouthed Pokemon feels as if he has been struck by the similar-looking claw of a Crab. For the Pokemon that has been shaking the earth -- or some rough equivalent -- being shaken up like this is quite the experience. As if to make things worse, Celestine also seems to realize which Pokemon can threaten her more. In contrast to the first round, there does not seem to be any more nuking this time. The power is divided, yet numerically greater than otherwise. The move used, however, is not entertaining in the least, owing to the fact that the move has already been used more than once recently. In some way, a large Ball of Shadows is created, the swirling black and purple soon launched at the Lampent for the purposes of inflicting pain, something that it accomplishes super effectively.

Both Pokemon on the other side choose to exact their own vengeance. Both pairs of combative Pokemon have infinite capacity for striking each other super effectively, and they seem to be very intent on cleaving through the opposition's health. The Trapinch, deciding that he better not go physical against the Fire Type now that he is suffering from Burns on his side. He raises one of his tiny feet, slamming it into the ground with astounding force, considering the proportion of that foot to the rest of Enigma's body -- or in general, for that matter. At the same time, Shimmer tries to show the opposing Ghost Type who is really the master of burning things here. Some interesting parallels can be drawn in these two combative pairs. To Celestine's credit, however, the bright, but small Will-O-Wisp of blue fire that the Lampent conjures is underwhelming compared to the raging orb of flame. As Heitralogr is engulfed by the blend of golden, orange and brown energies that erupt from the Earth, and stands witness to its Power, the blue flame connects with a newly solid Misdreavus... but actually fails to land a Burn on her, much to the Fire Type's disbelief.

It is certainly not a very tempting prospect to be suffering from Burns while exposed to the heat of the lava of Kilionea Road, and Enigma wisely decides that he does not want to get all physical right now. That said, the move he wants to use is versatile enough, a reflection of the watery hammer employed by his adversary, that he can do what he did in the first turn, but without consequences of that scale. Meanwhile, it would appear that Shimmer had been quite optimistic about the chances of her previous attack scoring a Burn, because her next move is rather reliant on that eventuality to hope to come close to the effectiveness that two powerful, super effective moves would have had. Even as another Earthquake takes place, following another stomp on the ground, although this one involves the Trapinch raising both forefeet off the ground before slamming them down, and Heitralogr actually loses his balance and falls forward out of damage, using his arms to hold himself up in a stressful manner. Rather less effectively, a foggy wave of energy that, like an airbrush, creates an eye in the air, deals some super effective damage of its own to the Misdreavus, but is withstood with more ease.

Heitralogr is approaching critical health range, while Celestine is starting to close in on the last third. Both have appreciated their breathers.

Enigma is nearly through his first third of health, but Shimmer crashes a way out of it. Neither Pokemon needs to slow down at the moment.

Enigma, another two Earth Power on Heitralogr.

Shimmer, anothet Shadow Ball on Celestine.
If Heitralogr faints because of Enigma's attacks, use Shadow Ball on Celestine again.
If not, use Shadow Ball on Heitralogr instead.

Heatmor covering its ears would count as a move. Pokemon covering their ears or closing their eyes (Except in certain situations, like while using Meditate) deliberately to avoid a move -- or anything to that effect -- counts as a move in general. Would you like to edit your orders or confirm it to be your three mover?
