Arcade
Have you ever seen those message boards where you can click on a link to an Arcade and play flash games? It records high scores, and only registered forum users are able to post high scores, so it's not like you have to compete against the entire Internet. I even saw a board where the holder of a high score got a gold trophy beside his or her name as a reward (like badges on this board) for bragging rights. If you could get this feature, it would be a fun way for people to kill time whenever they're bored.

It's not complicated at all, it's just some plugin that you implement into the forum. You don't have to worry about organizing tournaments or anything like that because high scores are automatically recorded when you play a game while logged into your forum account. As for where you go exactly to get the plugin, and which games you can pick, I have no idea about any of that. I'm no web techie.

I did this for a mahjong site once! You could add your online mahjong ID to your account and then it would show you your rank out of everyone else on the site. Something in that vein is probably what you would want, since not many people (I assume) are playing flash games anymore. Even in FB you had to take screenshots and then trust everyone else to not shop their images. But if it's an online server with an API, you can link just about anything!

People don't generally play Flash games, but the opportunity to compete against their friends on the forum and set a high score would give them an incentive to.
Those games on the example forum I linked look pretty crappy, there's better ones I'm sure. Also there's too many. My proposed UPNetwork arcade would keep the number of games small, like 10 or less.

I sent this request to the admin as soon as I saw the thread. It's a cute idea.
