PokĂŠRinger Final - empoleon dynamite vs. Arc_Angel
"The time had finally arrived, a pair of exceptional trainers had managed to overcome all obstacles to push on through to the ultimate battle, deciding the winner of the first PokéRinger contest." As the crowd looked on in awe, the two, a boy by the name of Wes and a young woman by the name of Stacey, both paired with their respective bugs, Poptart and Nina, stepped onto the ever familiar arena once more. Taking their spots at either end of the huge and dusty arena, their pokémon seemed more pumped than ever. Being the only two bugs in the competition, it was nice to see them manage to overcome weaknesses and get this far.
empoleon dynamite vs. Arc Angel 72 hour DQ Tournament Trainer Battle Return = KO PokéRinger arena a 60 x 40 open-air arena surrounded by four spectating stands. Suspended 100 metres above the arena in a balloon, attached to which is a PokéRinger ring for the trained or rental pokémon to retrieve. Once retrieved it is to be taken to and dropped onto a 5 metre tall goal post directly below the balloon. "And now, the coin toss! Wes is assigned to heads and Stacey is assigned to tails." With these words, the huge coin, this time emblazoned with a Chatot head, flipped several times before landing on a metronome symbol, signifying tails, meaning Stacey would be first after the blind round. Unlike the previous rounds, this time, what the audience can only presume as the main prize is brought onto the arena. Cloaked in a cloth veil, both trainers begin to wonder what is to come. "Before the battle begins, I would like to thank everybody who took part and hope to see you all again in the next year or so..." As these words echoed across the vast arena and clifftop surroundings, an explosion of confetti seemed to appear from nowhere and all of the pokémon eliminated thus far appeared from within it, taking a final lap of the arena prior to the final, each one grinning from ear to ear, it had been a wonderful contest with a whole variety of trainers and pokémon alike. [You know the drill, kids. PM me your first round orders and pokémon and shizzle. The best of luck to both of you, you're both superb battlers and I would love to see either of you go on to become crowned the overall winner :}] |

PokĂŠRinger Final: Blind Round
Quote:
Quote:
A huge roar comes from the stands as both Wes and Stacey, the finalists, appear before them. With their own bugs hovering nearby, both battlers wave to their people before acknowleding one another. The prize table seems to shake slightly, as if whatever was covered in the veil upon its top was alive... With both participants making their way to the balloons before ascending upwards in their respective craft, it was time for them both to issue their bug companions with a unique set of private orders, as with each first round. Either side of the arena, bugs nodded and turned from the trainers once more, ready to head in the direction of the opponent. Having each noticed the competition mirroring them, they began to speed up. Eyeing her chance, Nina flew quickly upwards, Poptart in hot pursuit. As she flew, the Ninjask began hardening her exterior to boost her defenses slightly. Quick to notice this, the Yanmega launches his initial attack. Following after the ninja bug, the dragonfly began tossing attractive hearts at the other bird to woo her. Luckily for him, this attack succeeded, Nina becoming officially infatuated with her opponent. Despite her new found crush on Poptart, Nina manages to focus through the infatuation placed on her by the attract attack, the bug begins to spin in mid-air, dancing a peculiar dance with her legs in strange positions, the swords dance. Eyeing his opportunity and the fact Nina was open to attacks, the Yanmega zooms forwards with a quick attack, bashing the Ninjask mid-dance. Despite being damaged in the hit, the dance still gives part of the boosting effect. Continuing her flight upwards, it appears as though the infatuation strikes back, just as her final attack was about to come, the Ninjask slows slightly, allowing Poptart to quickly catch up and spew his toxic attack. Dousing the legs and underside of the Ninjask in acid, she cries out in pain as the toxins seep into her blood stream little by little. At this point in the battle, both pokémon are located around 50 metres from the ring. At the end of the round, Poptart has lost no hitpoints and Nina is down to around 5/6 of hers, also suffering from poison now. In terms of energy, both pokémon have used up very little and still seem raring to go. With the second round coming, so will the inevitable speed boost from both pokémon's abilities. [Arc_Angel followed by empoleon dynamite, please] |

"That didn't work out too well," Stacey mused as Nina winced as the poison ate into her health ... again!
"Okay Nina show you utter annoyance of that attack with a Screech and continue the noise with Bug Buzz right for the ugly bug then head on up to the ring with a boost of Agility". |

PokĂŠRinger Final: Round One
Recieving their simultaneous speed boosts from their special abilities, both bugs are raring to go for a second round of attacks. Quick to begin, Nina opens her mouth wide before emmiting a skincrawling screech attack. Visibly shook from the attack, Pop-Tart's defense is significantly lowered. Regaining himself after the attack, the Yanmega darts forward, stopping in a split second. With the attack comes a sonic boom of energy, thumping the Ninjask before it for a slither of damage. Quick to begin her second assault, Nina flies at Pop-Tart, buzzing in an incredibly obnoxious manner as she charges a ball of green energy with her mouth. Firing the ball at her opponent, she buzzes louder still, hitting the Yanmega for a rather good hit.
It was time to begin the ascent towards the ring once more. Despite having being damaged recently, Pop-Tart is the first to begin. Darting upwards with an aerial ace, temporarily disappearing, he has clearly got the head start. However, noticing the Yanmega's quick vanishing act, the Ninjask uses her agility to zoom upwards, catching up to Pop-Tart before surpassing him slightly. Pushing harder, the dragonfly manages to reach a metre or so behind the Ninjask, forming a ball of white upon his tail. Tossing the ball of energy towards his foe, the attack hitting and knocking the Ninjask a little off coarse, Pop-Tart manages to get a slight lead. Managing to regain her path to the ring, Nina begins to feel the poison in her veins slightly. In terms of location from the ring, Pop-Tart the Yanmega is around 25 metres away, whereas Nina the Ninjask is around 28 metres away. Nina is still suffering from the toxic poison, but it hasn't began to fully damage her yet. Pop-Tart is down to around 4/5 of his hitpoints and his defenses are incredibly lowered, Nina is down to around 2/3 of her hitpoints. Energy consumption has not been an incredible lot and both pokémon are still ready to continue onwards towards their goal. Another round, another boost. empoleon dynamite to order first, followed by Arc_Angel |

Let's go for a Psych-Up, trading away that nasty defense drop for a more preferable agility boost. Split up with Double Team to throw Nina off, then show her you mean business with a spitfire of Dragon Breath!

"He'll have to concentrate on you to copy your boosts so give him a sexy cocky Swagger then head straight on up for the ring while he wastes his time doubling himself, thats if he remembers to. Keep an eye on him over your shoulder with a Mind Reader and use it to dodge and strike with Night Slash if he tries to get too close."

PokĂŠRinger Final: Round Two
[Ew, I suck. This is way later than it should have been, but here it is!]
As the next round opens and both sides give their pokémon thought out strategies, both of the bugs recieve the signature boost of speed once more. Needing to catch up in terms of distance from the ring, Nina is quick to begin. As Pop-Tart looks on at her, she begins to saunter through the air, shaking her body in a rhythmic swaggering motion to attempt to put the dragonfly off. As the attack becomes successful, the Yanmega being annoyed to the point of confusion, he too attempts his first order. However, due to the newly obtained status ailment, all the bug can do is struggle to psych himself up to Nina's standards, hitting at himself as he does so. With an opening created, the Ninjask is quick to react. As the Yanmega struggles with his confusion, managing to force through it and begin splitting himself into many double team clones, Nina darts upwards like the bullet from a gun, heading for the ring without contemplating an assault unless necessary. As she flies, she uses her mind reading abilities to keep an eye on her opponent, who has also began the ascent once more, leaving his useless clones behind him. It is at this point where the gap begins to close more and more, Pop-Tart almost catching up to the Ninjask before he stops, spewing out a line of purple ancient flames from his mouth, directly at Nina. Quick to react, due to knowing what was to come, the ninja bug darts around the attack and to Pop-Tart's underbelly, slashing out at it with her darkened claws. With all commands over, Nina feels the burden of her poison. After this round, both pokémon are located around five metres from the desired ring. In terms of hitpoints, Nina has lost none this round and Pop-Tart is down to 2/3 of his hitpoints. Energy consumption was moderate and both bugs seem fit as fiddles and willing to continue, despite their seperate ailments (Poison for Nina and confusion for Pop-Tart) Arc_Angel to order first, followed by empoleon dynamite |

PokĂŠRinger Final: Round Three
[Forgot to deduct hitpoints from Nina's poison in the last round so I'll just add the damage on this turn, sorry about the inconvenience, guys :3]
Having practically reached the item they both required the most; the PokéRinger ring, both bugs looked pumped for more, flitting around with their added speed boosts, the pair avid to prove they could overcome the other. It is Nina that begins to move first once more after each insect recieves their respective commands from their trainers. Collecting all of her legs beneath her, a bright light begins to surge from her middle, forming into a huge white orb. Blinded by the accuracy lowering light attack, Pop-Tart cries out, distressed by the temporary lack of vision. Not wanting to give up, despite the impaired sight, the Yanmega begins to fire off a flurry of tiny stars in every direction. As several buffer the Ninjask, she begins her next move, seeing Pop-Tart's state, visionwise. With a swift turn in her flight, the ninja bug formed a large gust of wind, riding the outside of it towards the ring. As the metres closed before her, Pop-Tart began his own wind funnel, beating his wings in an ever quickening motion. With this whirlwind attack, the Yanmega practically catches up. However, due to his vision still slightly impaired from the flashing attack, Nina reaches it first, grappling with it in her six legs before attempting to lock it in position with two of them, leaving her several to attack. Now that both pokémon were at the highest point of the battle, the only way was down. With the ring still firmly in her possession, the Ninjask's wings began to glow a strange hue of purple and black before she darted downwards, a sinister wind following as she did. The ominous breeze damaged Pop-Tart, who promptly fired a dragonbreath back at Nina, the attack scraping at her back end and dealing minor damage. With the round over, Nina is firmly in control of the ring and has began her descent. Pop-Tart has began to follow but is still behind by a metre or so. Nina is ninety five metres away from the goal ring and Pop-Tart is ninety eight. With all attacks over, the poison in Nina's veins afflicts her once more, chipping her hitpoints down slightly. Pop-Tart has lost his confusion from the previous turn and should regain his eyesight fully in the next round. In terms of hitpoints, both pokémon are down to around 1/2 of their health. Energy is still pretty good, but both pokémon appeared fatigued from the sheer ascent to the ring. empoleon dynamite to order first, followed by Arc_Angel |

"Nina don't let him taunt you, counter with a nice loud Screech and get the hell out of dodge and fly right for the the goal post. It'll take some time to power up Razor Wind so set up a Double Team and see if he can hit you then keep up the movement with a rapid Agility. Don't let him take that ring from your claws.

PokĂŠRinger Final: Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No itâs a brand new referee!
Round Four Carter: Here we are at the home of the all things flying, the Delibird Ridge and weâre here for the exciting finale of the PokeRinger tournament. Iâm your host, Carter Andrews. On my left we have Wes, a young man who defeated a range of Pokémon trainers to get here with his Yanmega, a Pokémon famed for speed. On that note, on my right is Stacey who also defeated a range of Pokémon trainers to get here with her Ninjask, including a victory over the tournament inventor Pearlâs Perap. What about the Pokémon? Oh. You want to know where they are do you? Well theyâre hovering at the top of the ring, the reasons at this time why they arenât moving is that the referee hasnât waved them on. I canât think why though, maybe heâs died. Oh I hope he hasnât died, me and the camera man have a bet on this match. Whatâs that noise? It sounds like a chopper. Oh god I hope itâs not Team Galactic, theyâre horrible people. Or maybe itâs Team Rocket; theyâll want to steal the immobile Pokémon. Oh no! Itâs a new trainer, he was in the first round with one of our rental Pokémon, and heâs accompanied by an Aerodactyl. Heâs actually surfing on the Aerodactylâs back! I assume he wants to get revenge on the other Pokémon for him not being in the final! Call the police! Call the police! Call the FBI if you have to, that bet is worth ÂŁ1! Oh waitâŚ. I may be mistaken. Yes, yes I am, heâs got a badge. No trainer who has a badge can be evil. OHHHHH, itâs a reffing badge, signifying he has three stars. He must have been sent by the Fizzy Bubbles Referee League Headquarters. It seems the previous referee is getting escorted down to the bottom of the arena, oh yeah, and now heâs being carted away in a wheelbarrow. Itâs chaos round here, if it gets any worse I might have a heart attack. Oh, oh it appears that the new referee has waved his flags. Weâre off again. Once again, Iâm Carter Andrews here with your Pokeringer finals commentator! Please hire me if you need anything âŚ. Iâm getting desperate. Now Iâm said to be joined by Matthew, our current referee, via wireless headset, whoâll be joining me in commentary. Matthew? Matthew: And weâre back ladies and gentlemen, doing what Pokémon do best, battling! As you can see on your screens the battle is already somewhat underway, with Ninjask having the lead by mere meters, a ring in her hands. Shortly behind her is a Yanmega. And weâre off! Yanmega is first to move, who attempts to mock and belittle the Ninjask, apparently calling her mother a dirty Grimer. As the Yanmega tries to send the Ninjask into a rage so it only performs attacking moves, the words travel quite quickly, but it seems the move has failed as the Ninjask was prepared for it. Yes, a deafening interrupts the taunting which cancels out the move. Quite a high pitch that one, but no confusion status for Yanmega as the move got lost in the clusterfuck of noise. Carter: I think people should attack. You canât get people to faint without attacking so attacking is where itâs at. Am I right? Matthew: Umm, I guess so Carter, but remember there is more than one way to skin a cat Carter: Well I wouldnât know Matthew, I donât skin cats. Matthew: Neither do I Carter, it was an expression. What I was trying to say was that you can also win this contest by delivering the ring to the hoop, which Ninjask tries to do but fails, as its defensive order kicks in as Yanmega charges his attack. As the Yanmegaâs wings begin to look razor sharp, the flying type starts to create a strong wind, all the while Ninjask splits into two. Carter: Splitting into two? Thatâs cheating. Matthew: No Carter, itâs double team. Yes, the bug has succeeded in creating two alternative clones in addition to itself, but as it does so, the wing blows a-gust, with Yanmegaâs attack becoming compressed into small pockets to create hard wind that blows right through the clones. It seems that the Ninjask was lucky the razors didnât tear into one of those fragile wings of hers or thatâd put a right dampen on its spirits. Carter: It seems even cheating canât beat the wind. Matthew: Iâve told you Carter, itâs not cheating. Carter: Suuuuure. Matthew: *Facepalm* Anyway, back to our match where both Pokémon have taken off, Ninjask using her Agility and Yanmega using its Quick Attack to ride straight downwards. As Ninjask seems to be holding the lead by concentrating its mobility into a quick burst, Yanmega seems to catch it up oh-so-slowly as its âfaster than agilityâ attack seems to take hold, the Yanmega then slamming into Ninjask for light damage, managing to grab the ring in one claw. As the round comes to an end, both Pokémon get a speed boost and Ninjask screams with poison damage. Carter: I fancy a bit of cheese right now. Matthew: You got that from poison damage? How?... Oh doesnât matter. Here are the round standings at the end of the round. Health: 50% Last edited by Treepandaone; 09-21-2009 at 04:25 PM. |

PokĂŠRinger Final: I'm tired of trying, Your teasing ain't enough.
Round Five Carter: Hey Matthew, what’s the chance of getting a cheese sandwich around here? Matthew: I don’t know, but unless you make it yourself I expect it to be 0. You might get a knuckle sandwich if you ask me to make it mind. Carter: Did you know my favourite colour is yellow? Matthew: No. No I didn’t. Can we get back to the battle now? Carter: I suppose. Still want some cheese though. Matthew: Welcome back ladies and gentlemen, sorry for my co-announcer here, he’s a little distracted. Over the commercial break we’ve had two sets of orders given by each trainer as they both look determined to win this. Just as a reminder, you don’t need to KO your opponent to win; you can also deliver the coveted PokeRinger ring to the goal, which both Pokémon seem to want to do. Currently in possession with the ring is Wes’ Yanmega. Lets see what happens next… Carter: Pokeringer, sponsored by Next™, quality clothing for quality prices. Matthew: Thanks for that *rollseyes*. We go live now to the action as Ninjask carries on the offensive to try and get that ring back from Yanmega after having it just one short round. As we see the fast bug zoom down on Yanmega, our special battle cameras can pick up the attack its using, this one being a Night Slash attack. Any battler can usually tell from the darkened claws as the Pokémon fill them with dark energy before slashing a vunerable part of the opponent Pokémon. Carter: I don’t think this one has hit Matthew. Why is that? Matthew: Well Carter, this Yanmega is seemingly special as it knows Reflect, a TM usually unknown by this sort of Pokémon. Its trainer must have done a lot of training with this Yanmega to get it to learn it, but for the cost of more energy than it would usually take for other Pokémon. As is this case, it seems Yanmega has set up the golden wall to block the incoming Night Slash. Yes, I was right, Yanmega has indeed taken no damage from that attack as it was blocked as the Ninjask seemingly curses. Carter: Why has it disappeared then? Matthew: Well Carter, reflect only works once, and blocks only one psychical attack. As you can see, Ninjask is rather relentless and is wanting to make sure its next attack hits, so let’s go back to the battlecam. Carter: The Ninjask’s claw is glowing silver. Matthew: Correct, this is the move known as Metal Claw whereby the user covers itself in a metallic silver-coloured shell, as you can tell by the flickering silver energy protruding off of it. Along with those attack boosts from earlier on, I’d say this is going to hurt. 2 for 2. The Ninjask does indeed hit the Yanmega with the metal claw, dealing some nasty damage, but somehow the Yanmega was able to hold onto the ring Carter: What was the chance of that happening? Matthew: About 1 in 10 Carter. Oh, what’s this? It seems Ninjask is continuing her relentless assault on the Yanmega with a flash. Carter: *wolfwhistle* Matthew: Not that kind of flash. The kind of flash where Ninjask consumes a decent amount of energy to create a flare, the burst of light should surely blind the Yanmega, or at the very least cause discomfort. Wait…what’s happening? That Yanmega was looking directly into the flash and yet nothing. Let’s switch to battlecam to find out what is happening. Carter: Now he’s the one that’s cheating! Matthew: Next time, remind me not to work with amateurs. Carter: I know, right? No cheese sandwich? Blasphemy! Matthew: It seems that Yanmega has used a massive amount of energy to create a substitute. That’s why the copy didn’t blink, because the real one had its back facing the light. That attack is going to cost big though, not only does it take away 25% of health and energy, it also uses another 10% of energy just to create it. Talk about expensive tactics. Either this will go on right, or he’ll be stuck in a ditch. Ninjask seemingly has no idea that the Yanmega has made a substitute, that real-life doll is currently the target for the bug and no amount of talk will talk it out of it. Carter: I’ve been informed by head-piece that any audience member wishing to see the real Yanmega should put on our special Devon Corp.™ glasses supplemented from under your seats. They will require a ten pokédollar deposit to ensure their safety which will be re-dispensed once the glasses have been put back on the rack. For anyone watching at home the battlecam option via your red button will be played picture in picture. Matthew: I suppose we better do the same carter. *puts on glasses*. And hey, just in time to see Yanmega use a quick attack down to the floor, that’s some extreme speed there with those boosts, but the overall tiredness of the attacks just don’t seem to get it far enough. As the round comes to an end its once again crunch time for the Ninjask who takes her fourth round of toxic so far. Health: 13% Last edited by Treepandaone; 09-24-2009 at 01:52 PM. “Yan- I’ve only met this fiery girl twice but I can already tell you right now she’ll find away around that sub - she's sneaky like that”, Wes grumbled with a half-cracked smile, eying up the girl in orchid attire, “47 Metres isn’t far at all, and with all those speed boosts I want you to get a head start on Nina with an easy swoop to the hooks. Maybe we’ve done enough to stop her from catching up, but if not... Endure every last hit and slink she can throw at you! There’s only you and the Goal Posts... You can do it Yan I know you can!”

"Okay Nina, Yanmega is about to drop and lets make sure we take the ring from it when it does. Use your Mind Reader to spot the real bug andAerial Ace to swoop in closer and beat it senseless taking the ring. If its still standing end with a sneaky Faint Attack to ensure that ring is yours and fly for the post as if your life depended on it."

PokĂŠRinger Final: Lost in the foreseen, We are the decieved
Round Six Carter: You know Matthew, not many people would expect a double bug final for the Pokéringer, especially with the weakness’ attained from the natural Pokémon types. Matthew: I disagree Carter, with these amazing trainers a two bug final had just the same chance as every other trainer pairing off, especially with these speed boosts coming into play. Carter: Good point raised Matthew, then answer me this; where’s my cheese sandwich? Matthew: *sighs*. What would you say is going to happen in the coming rounds Carter? Carter: I've found that it helps to do damage, because you don't know if you're going to get a chance to do damage later. Matthew: First thing that’s come out of your mouth that makes the slightest bit of sense. Carter: Good to know Matthew. Matthew: … Right. Well off we go again, both trainers have given their trainers orders via the microphones provided on the balloons, tuned into a special frequency to keep the opponent guessing as only their own Pokémon can hear. Carter: It’s amazing what Devon Corp can do nowadays isn’t it? Matthew: Right you are. Ninjask has begun moving so any viewer at home is switching to the battlecam. First to attack, Ninjask begins reading the mind of its opponents substitute, following its movements. Carter: So the real Yanmega will be revealed? Matthew: Unfortunately for Ninjask, no. You see, substitute shares the same mind-link as the real one therefore Yanmega has mentally implanted a misperception into its substitute, which Ninjask has just read, convincing it the substitution is the real Yanmega. As it turns around an shrgs to its trainer, it seems the only way to get rid of it is attacking. Carter: I don’t follow Matthew: You wouldn’t. Why don’t you see what Yanmega is doing? Carter: Slowly but surely making its way down to the ring goal. I think because it’s tired, without an attack supplement to push it to the goal it has become a little sluggish in its movements. Matthew: It seems Ninjask is taking my advice Carter, it’s began to attack. Using those two boosts, Ninjask has begun swooping round Yanmega’s substitute. Carter: Shouldn’t it be attacking? Matthew: It will, but the move Aerial Ace takes time to figure out which side it’s coming from, as well as getting the opponent to look at it. Looks like we’ll need slow motion to keep up with this as it looks like it’s about to …. Too late. Ninjask suddenly changed direction there and vanished from view, not even we could keep our eyes on it. That substitute looks in bad shape, a super effective attack with two boosts and lowered defenses means that it could be ready to go. Seemingly, it keeps its form, lucky that one. Carter: Yanmega is still moving downwards. Sluggish as always. Matthew: I guess when you only have 5% of your energy left, flying is still hard work even with all the boosts in the world. Lucky for Yanmega, it hasn’t had to use an attack yet, so it may just cancel out the flying. Carter: He should’ve flown EasyJet. Matthew: … Ninjask is back on the attack! If you look carefully Carter, Ninjask has begun playing possum in order to get Yanmega to fall for its tricks Carter: Shame that won’t work Matthew: Agreed. Yanmega isn’t looking at Ninjask, and the substitute can’t fall for its tricks. Ninjask is still going to attack though Carter, it seems as though it thinks its fell for its tricks. Yes, yes. I was right, Ninjask has smacked into the substitute with a dark blow of energy, with two boosts and a weakened defense from the substitute that was bound to hurt. What a revelation! It seems that with all that attacking, the substitute has fallen apart before Ninjask's very eyes. Carter: Look at those budging eyes. Matthew: Those are the eyes of an irate bug type that’s been deceived with the use of a substitute Carter: One in a million Matthew: Yanmega hasn’t had to use its endure so far Carter, and with no attacks left, Ninjask is left fuming in the sky, but Yanmega isn’t going to make it before the round ends. Carter: Ninjask is glowing purple though. Matthew: Looks like the end of the round has come, Ninjask is taking another dose of poison damage. Here’s the stats at the end of the round. Health: 13% |

“You’re so close now Yan, and there’s a huge gap between you and the opponent so you should make it there regardless of Agility. Just take your time, it’s 9 METRES... That’s all... Quick Attack your way to the posts if she somehow manages to catch up, otherwise, just sink that thing in your own time and conserve your energy – you’ll get a nice warm bath and a serving of roasted Bidoof very shortly!”

PokĂŠRinger Final: I've put my trust in you, Pushed as far as I can go.
Round Seven Carter: This looks to be the end round Matthew, these two Pokémon are giving it their all today. Matthew: I think you may be right there Carter, but don’t count anyone out yet, this is Pokémon battling, the unexpected is inevitable. Carter: Gotcha’ Matthew: Good to hear Carter, first time for everything. Carter: Oh. No, sorry. What did you say? I was playing Pokémon Heart Gold on my Nintendo DS. Matthew: *facepalm* How are you not overwhelmed with excitement at this final? Carter: I just caught a Rattata man, I had to use a master-ball for this Pokémon. It’s eluded me for so long. Matthew: Where are you? Carter: Route 6. I traded a master-ball over from diamond just to get it. Matthew: On that note; let’s get back to the battle. As the audience will see via battlecam, Ninjask, using its priority and faster base speed has begun its fast descent, using all six speed boosts and an agility to career downwards at an irate pace. Carter: But Yanmega also has six speed boosts Matthew: That he does carter, and he too seems to be using a move. Risky strategy here, with such low energy there is a chance of exhausting itself beyond battle, causing an instant win for Ninjask. Yanmega is also putting those wings to use with a Quick Attack. The two seem suspended in mid-air as our camera are capturing them in slow motion, so if you’re watching at home, notice how fast these wings are flapping. Carter: Oh no, a hoothoot knocked out my Rattata Matthew: Shush Carter. Both Pokémon are getting close, but Yanmega has the lead by a large amount, but is slowed by the exhaustion. Ninjask has the energy but not the distance. It’s going to come down to the wire. Carter: *leans forward* Matthew: *leans forward* And Yanmega takes the goal! It has thrown the ring onto the goal posts and scored, winning him and his trainer; wes, the title of the Pokéringer champion! And now for the prizes; Carter: Ooooh, shiny. Matthew: For Stacey, I present you a with Flying Ball, one TM of choice for the Ninjask from the coins for prizes and one special Sky Plate. And for Wes, I present you with this nifty Pokéringer cup as the first Fizzy Bubble Pokéringer champion. You also get a flying ball and *flies down on Aerodactyl* this very special Female Chatot. Not to mention the extra level for Yanmega. Carter: If you'll look to the board, you'll see the final stats. Thanks for watching, we'll see you next time. Matthew: Bye. *cuts out to news* Health: 13% Thanks for playing guys, this was one exciting battle. If you have any queries feel free to PM me. |

Whilst I’d love to keep her she has a great home in store, placing her in Pokeball (3/5) goes from Lv25 to Lv26 I’d firstly like to say thank you to Arc, she’s had me on my toes since the match started and there’s never been a point where I’ve felt like I was going to win. She’s a worthy opponent, and I look forward to battling her again some day *squeezes :3* Secondly, major props to Treep, if it weren’t for him we’d have never wrapped this tourney up, it’s nice to see everything complete since we all put a great deal of effort into it. Your reffings where quite amusing and very easy to understand, you’ve got a knack for writing them. Third mention goes to Pearl’s Perap, who we’d had never had this tournament without. It’s a shame he had to leave, but I wish him the best of luck in whatever he’s up to now. |
