Your Whimsicott pictures remind me of Peanuts strips. I also love the awesome colour choices and use of shading on Captain Funk.
So are you admitting you're actually quite good at art and battling?

Depends on when you ask me. If I'm actually Jumpluffing, I'll flat-out deny that it's Jumpluff Syndrome because that would imply I'm actually good at it. At the moment, my answer amounts to "Reply hazy, ask again later." tungsten Thanks, by the way. Any chances of you starting up your own thread? :o Anyhoo, I have a new ...not really what I'd call a finished piece or anything since it's really sloppy, but me dipping my metaphorical toes into messing with Photoshop brush settings. Contains one Whimsicott. Was inspired by what I can only describe as the visual art equivalent of a performance dream.

In yet another fit of reorganization, I've been looking through old sketchbooks, and I found something I absolutely HAD to scan. It's puuuuuure gold. Circa... probably 2001 or 2, if I had to guess. This is seriously that amusing to me. Iiiiiit's....

Oh, hey! I have a thread here. Right, right. Anyhow, I have something new, sorta.
Whimsicott again, with a twist This is a work in progress, dunno if I'll work on it any further, let alone finish it. I did a blind drawing of a Whimsicott (exactly what it says on the tin--drew it with my eyes closed) and decided to try taking it another step by rendering it in Photoshop. So far, I like it a fair bit better than the previous Whimsicott I posted, though it would have a long way to go before looking awesome. tungsten

KUNO MINUS UPN: A PASBL SPRITE COMIC SPECIAL
PS: NO I AM NOT MAKING NEW SPRITE COMICS For years, the PASBL Sprite Comic focused on the strange conversations and goings-on of the UPN PASBL. What would happen if we saw the events through the eyes of an alternate universe, in which UPN wasn't nearly as active, and its supreme ruler was merely having delusions of awesome? Welcome, my friends, to Kuno Minus UPN. Or, I should say, a mis-ordered and random bunch of PASBL comics that had Kuno in them because I can't be arsed to do this on a daily basis, even though most comics would only take a couple of minutes, five at most. I'm a forgetful sort, you see. Spoiler: show And here's a two-year-old drawing of a Skiploom to make up for the fact that this post has no fanart. tungsten

JUMPLUFF SEZ: ULTIMATE PINACLSAUR DUMP
Don't worry, Kuno! It's just an alternate universe.
Since UPC is long since over, I may as well dump my various Pinaclsaurs in here, too. Original Pinaclsaur art from '06... and Pinaclsaur circa 2010, in magical smokable pineapple forme. Going spoiler/img tag mode from here on in since these are transparent images. This year's official Pinaclsaur art: Spoiler: show Horde of original Zora drawing-style Pinaclsaurs (PITY THEM!): Spoiler: show ...which were actually a continuation of Pinaclsaur avatars I created last year, which looked like this, in various colors: Pity him, for he only gathered one vote this year.

D: Sorry
To stay on topic, for a while I thought an FB raid by retired FBers in the ASB would occur and they would all vote for Pinaclsaur. I was disappointed when it didn't happen.

Ah but they banned retired FBers from voting, which might even have been specifically due to Pinaclsaur's popularity outside FB. They can still join in the campaign trail though! This year saw an impressive grassroots effort. I hope ZJ makes use of all these cool images next year, as they are excellent publicity material.

I downloaded Paint Tool SAI on a whim this afternoon and gave it a test run tonight! Here's a piece that should, if I'm lucky, amuse the PASBL crowd. tungsten
Spoiler: show
