You both raise convincing arguments. I am currently working on the colors for this style. I have ideas for a few images that can be done too. :x When I post the test screenshot here I'll let people know what images I need.

Not bad at all.
Maybe for a banner, Zubat, Mightyena, some Halloweeny Pokemon? Banette maybe?

We... already have the banner. It's going to be the costumes picture.
What I'd like for the artsy types: Sprite Pokemon in Halloween colors to replace the umbreons. Like candy corn colors or recolored as pumpkins or what not. Most notably, new "forum" images (no new post, new post, locked forum), the top umbreon, and the ones to the right on the main page. Maybe like a candy corn colored jumpluff or whatever. Who knows. |

Talon theme is best theme. ;3
In all seriousness, my favorite themes were Modified Board 1 (foreground = orange, background = black, text = white) and Chaka's Romulan theme (foreground = turquoise, background = black, text = turquoise). If these are what people are nagging about, then I claim they have no taste as loudly as they claim that we have no taste. ;P

I'm just gonna lay whatever sprite stuff I do here. I'm a very inexperienced recolorist/dunno what to do for everything so any suggestions would be okay by me.
So I decided, "Why not?" with the candy corn Jumpluff thing. There's two color variants for Ariados because I wasn't sure what to do color-wise, though I lean towards the first more. Decided to do a bunch of baby Pokemon in the "pumpkin recolor" scheme Kuno mentioned. The candy corn Corsola absolutely does not have anything to do with the request of any certain UPNer that might be affiliated with that Pokemon, why do you ask? Taking Talon's idea, I used one of Snorunt's Pokemon Trozei sprites for this - respectively, for new posts, no new posts, and a locked forum.

Candy Corn Snorunt makes more sense than Jumpluff, but Jumpluff is always nice.

How about Pokemon that are dressed up in costumes? That could be cool.

I have no idea if I'm a good enough spriter for that, but I could try it later. Though your post made me decide to try doing a couple of recolors along those lines. One was a Princess Luna-dash that turned out okay-ish. (As opposed to the "Blaziken doing a terrible Flamedramon cosplay" which turned out baaadly. =3=)

If anyone *cough*Daisy*cough* could draw me as (Purple) Thunder from Killer Instinct for the SNES, that'd be dandy.

Done and done, Mr Kuno. Edited my post with the little Umbreon.

Awesome sauce. :3 When I get home (or tomorrow or whenever) I'll throw the images in and make the style set live.

You ought to make it the default style set for all users up through Halloween, then keep it as an optional style anytime following :O
PS. I do enjoy this style quite a lot.
