A New Challenger Appears
Kotaku
Gamebreaker A bit surprised someone else didn't post this, but Nvidia, the company which is best known for making graphics processors showed off on CES2013 their project: Shield. A portable handheld system which has a dedicated 5 inch 720p touchscreen which can connect to your TV with 4K resolution and act as a full system. It runs on Android Jellybean. Can run Netflix and Hulu and other media streaming apps. It can stream games from your PC to your controller. It also has a 5 to 10 hour battery. Who would have guessed Nvidia was looking into the market. |

It looks ugly and bulky (at least the controller part does) and it'll probably be laggy as hell. We'll see.
5 to 10 hour battery is surprising though. Props for that. Last edited by deoxys; 01-09-2013 at 02:26 AM. |
