Unleash the hounds, then. People with Blaziken and Combusken will enjoy pounding them down, and Ralts line will enjoy its new fairy typing advantage. But come on Gf. More variety please? I mean even DPPt made some good effort with Galactic Grunts having no overly common grunt mon.

What?? We'll be able to make gyms in our secret bases? Will we be able to award a TM too? I can pretty much guarantee the most popular type will be Dark.

No, people are just speculating that it would be possible to make your secret base in such a way that it's similar to a gym, by inviting people to serve as gym trainers and decorating the place to be puzzle-y.

This all has me really excited and hyped for them to come out. The secret bases look really cool and the whole gym idea is amazing! I also enjoy how there's a lot of in game interaction with other players (as in you can see them) that XY didn't have. The capture the flag feature is great. I really enjoyed that aspect in DPPt.

As for the Poochyena part... I can say that the graphics look amazing. Like, look at Mt. Chimney!

I cannot wait for these games to come out.

Not a fan of the designs for Mega Sceptile, Mega Swampert, or Mega Metagross. Okay with the designs of Mega Sableye, Primal Kyogre, and Primal Groudon. Still no word on Mega Camerupt, Mega Sharpedo, or Mega Mightyena. So far, I've been overall disappointed with the ORAS megas.

The #2 thing I dislike about Mega Metagross's design is just how overdesigned it is. Ever since Gen IV, Game Freak seems to have been convinced that more is better. Mega Metagross has too much going on all at once. Metagross already had that complaint from some with the X over his face, but aside from that I'd say he nailed it.

But my #1 problem with Mega Metagross is his gravity-defying design. With four mammoth limbs all pointing forward and none pointing downward, how exactly does Mega Metagross walk -- or even stand?

He looks like he ought to topple backward at any moment, his limbs pointing skyward.

I like Metagross. And I feel like he is still OU viable. (Or that if he's not that he should be.) But this mega will probably be Smogon banned immediately. There's little chance he won't match or exceed Mega Lucario in prowess. As for VGC, I could see him being used depending on how he and his teammates deal with fire and earth; but it will probably take more than an obscene Attack stat to see VGC players using him as their mega over candidates like Charizard, Kangaskhan, and Gengar.

But yeah, I sorta like it's design. Then again I'm easy to please so that opinion is sorta weightless.
Also can't tell if Sydney's been redone or not.

I mean it's clearly shown levitating but it probably won't get levitate (see: Magnezone). Maybe Tough Claws?

Right; but even though it's floating in midair, it still drives me crazy that it doesn't topple forwards or backwards. The torque on that thing's arms has to be enormous.

That seems to be what most people in the Showdown lobby are thinking. That it'd be nice if it got Levitate but that it will likely get Tough Claws instead.
