Krelia tightened the straps of her backpack, jostling the shrunken down incubators heald within. Spiritus the litwick floated along with her, his lime green flame waving brightly. Smaug the axew trudged along, his girlfriend Miku the pacharisu not to far behind him. Wolfe the arcanine, Krelia's brothers partner bringing up the rear of the possy. Following the events of the "Purity" incident back at Gateway, Drake has been down in the dumps, the event forced him to shatter their only way back to their homeworld, effectively trapping him and his sister with their pokemon in a universe parallel to their own. But Krelia hasn't given up hope. Since the Shattering, she's been working on research. Hoping to track down Celebi or find natural growing time crystals. She knew they existed in this world for they had seen Celebi before here in this universe. She was the younger sister of Drake, and the youngest of the five siblings total, she never had much built for her with battles like her brother Drake, unlike their three other siblings all of whom became Champions of provinces back in their home universe. So she geared herself to something she always wanted to do much like Drake had turned to Contests. Drake meant alot to her, her brother was her role model and hero to her. She enjoyed her other siblings and got along excellent with them but Drake actually saved her and to her he was her favorite and she owed him her life. She hoped that by coming to the former sun and moon shrines, she could get an insight to the legends of the Galar region, and if she found an egg here she wouldn't mind raising it as her own. If she didn't find anything here then she would search for a egg that would hopefully be one of drakes childhood favorite. Some of the pokemon that existed here in the Fizz Universe didn't exist anymore back home, some going extinct due to poaching and invasive species and overall decline in reproduction. With a nod from Krelia all the pokemon with her spread out and began checking every possible where they could while Krelia herself examined the shrine.

This story would focus on Hyrem looking to find himself another Pokemon that would be the first on his team from a new region. And since his last journey took him through the icy caverns on the isle he figured that it was time for warmer path...much, much warmer. As in the Volcano Path. Which was something Happy, Kenna, and their newly born son Calder appreciated very much! "Wow, this is a really hot place!" Calder was quick to point out and even quicker to leave his hoof prints all over the trail. "Don't wander off too far from momma 'n papa, y'hear?" Kenna called out to her foal as Happy chuckled seeing the Ponyta romp around and explore; in many ways, Calder reminded the Flareon of himself and of the Rapidash he mated with, so naturally there was bound to be some sort of trouble ahead! "I won't~" came Calder's reply before he excitedly spoke to Happy. "Hey, do ya think we'll meet more Ponyta 'n Rapidash here??" "Haha, maybe!" said Happy. "I've heard the Ponyta over there look a lil' different from what we're used to though!" "Really!?" Calder's eyes lit up. "Oh man, we gotta see 'em now!" He then proceeded to bound even further down the trail. "Y'all even heard what I said, young man!?" Kenna neighed sternly before turning to her partner. "Well, Happy, I ain't gon' be the one t' tell 'im 'bout the other rumors we've been hearin'..." "You mean about the fact the Ponyta and Rapidash in the new continent might not even be Fire-type? Aye, that means we probably aren't gonna find 'em in this area..." He then slowed for a moment, as though he was hearing something. "Heh, our trainer's got the right idea, there's bound to be something good in this place if the last visit here was anything to go by- whoa, wait up!!" Happy, having finally figured out that Kenna was chasing after her son, took off after them, with Hyrem in tow as Calder haphazardly led the charge towards what could be the next Pokemon to be a part of their large family.

Storm wandered through the icy caves, Rolu at his side and Swinom on his shoulder. The three had heard about eggs being hidden in the area and decided to take a look. Due to a lack of foresight on Storm's part, he had brought no coat. As such, the three of them huddled close together to stay warm during their search. Rolu scanned the area for aura, hoping to find the faint glow of an egg filled with new life. Swinom jumped off of Storm's shoulder and started darting around the caves, since he could resist the cold just fine. He seemed to feel right at home in here. Storm himself checked the more visible spots in the cavern. Behind blocks of ice and in piles of snow. He even tried to check the ceilling for any cleverly hidden eggs. |

It was almost a no-brainer for a youngish Rune Maniac. Bill went to the shrine, admittedly, it was more to study the ruins than to see new Pokemon, but hey, if he got to see new eggs, that was great too. That was, after all, how he met Trono, his Alolan Geodude, last time. Bill traveled with both Megas, his Golett, and Silver, his starter Squirtle. "Alright you two, keep an eye out for anything suspicious. Especially anyone who looks like they'd keep secrets hidden. They're the ones who tend to know everything," he says. The first thing Bill noticed was that the sun and moon symbols were replaced by what appears to be some sort of sword and shield. According to his guide, these symbols may be connected to the legendary Pokemon in the Galar region. Megas was more happily testing the walls for some sort of secret passage way, though a lot harder than he needed to, while Silver was more acting like a second set of eyes keeping a lookout, just in case they needed to bail early. |

"Springtide Isle again, huh?" she said, reaching the bottom of the letter and flipping it over to see if there was anything else. "That's three times already." "Cyn da quil," her starter pointed out from his usual perch on her shoulder. "True." Melissa scanned the list of locations again. "So, where should we go this time?" "Quil quil cyn da quil," Wildfire said dryly. Melissa rolled her eyes, but had to admit he was right. So, she'd personally taken a shine to only four lines from the new Pokémon, but one of them, she didn't mind waiting for. Of the other three, she was only confident about the location of one of them, so she was going to give that one a shot if she couldn't find one of the others. But, should she try once at three separate locations or just try to go for two? Humming thoughtfully, she considered her options again and decided on the gardens. After all, no one else had gone there yet, so even if she didn't find what she was looking for, it'd hopefully help everyone else. "Should I bring Spirit, do you think?" she wondered. "We did get her there and we didn't really wander around after we got her." Wildfire shrugged. "Quil cyn da. Cyn da quil cyn da." "Yeah." Melissa ducked into the small aviary and called out, "Spirit, wanna come with us to Springtide Isle? There's another egg hunt." Spirit hooted excitedly and flew down to the pair, perching on Melissa's outstretched arm. Wildwing followed curiously and chirped a question. Well. Guess she was taking both of them. --- "Alright. Wildfire, you know what to look for; you're taking ground level." "Quil!" "Spirit, Wildwing, the eggs can be anywhere so keep your eyes peeled and search up there as well as down here, kay?" Spirit hooted and Wildwing twittered before taking off into the clearing.

Missingno.Master- Surely Vivillion was joking, right? She was knocking back another egg? Maybe it was her psychic senses at work, or maybe she just had a strong gut feeling? Regardless of the reason, you respect her choice. The Bug/Flying type seemed displeased with the abandoned house in general at this point and promptly departs, flying straight back out the way you'd came in. You quickly follow her, rushing out onto the soft sands of the beach, where you were originally planning to search anyway.....
The hurried search along the beach begins. Villivion uses her powerful wings to blow away sand, hoping to reveal something buried beneath. That leaves you to search under all the umbrellas and chairs. You find a myriad of things, empty sunscreen bottles, the top half of a bikini, an old bucket and spade, but no egg. Vivillion isn't having much luck either, her search through the sand bearing no fruit. Still eager to find what she is looking for, she decides to do a scan of the water. Maybe there was something concealed within the shallows? It isn't long before she begins to circle something, prompting you to rush over and investigate. Wading ankle deep in the warm water, you soon spot the egg, partially buried in the sand. It's a dark purple colour and just a little bit spikey! You carefully pick up the egg, making sure not to prick yourself, which gets difficult when the egg starts to glow and shake! Before you know it, the egg has hatched and you find yourself holding onto a strange spiky Pokemon. As sparks crackle along the Pokemon's spines, you look to Vivillion, wondering whether she approved of the Pokemon that had hatched for you. You obtained: - Lv.1 Male Pincurchin - 1 TM Wild Charge - 3 Springtide Chocolate Rare Candies - 1 Pair of Magical Elf Ears (Held Item)- This item allows the holder to use the move ‘Trick’ as long as the user holds this item. This item magically returns to the original holder at the end of the battle. Congratulations on finishing your Galar Release Event campaign! After replying to this post you may claim your reward. CrazyCreeperKid- Clockwork wasn't happy with you right now. You were knocking back another egg that it had found?! How ungrateful! The Hoothoot eats the berries more out of spite than pleasure, but he soon forgives you and continues to help in the search. Pinky is still searching the shallow pools, while ESP continues his search of the bushes on the far side of the river. Skull is snoring.... Clockwork doesn't want to let you down. Sure he'd found the last two eggs, but they weren't what you were looking for. He had to find the right one! Risking everything, he gathers speed and flies straight towards the waterfall! The bird disappears into the cascading water before you can stop him, was he okay? ESP sees the event transpire and quickly returns to your side. The pair of you stand at the side of the fall, desperately trying to spot Clockwork. ESP has an idea and using his Psychic powers he splits the falling water, creating a small break in the raging water. That's all Clockwork needs, the Hoothoot flies through, grasping something in his talons. You all gather around to inspect the egg, even Skull wakes from her slumber. This one is light blue and seems to have an orange shell like pattern on it. Skull shows her first sign of interest in this whole ordeal and promptly pecks the newly found egg! A crack develops along the eggs surface, had Skull broken it?! It appears not, as the egg starts to shake and more cracks develop. In one final burst, the egg cracks open, revealing a small tortoise-like Pokemon, sporting one pointy horn atop its head. You obtained: - Lv.1 Male Chewtle - 1 TM Surf - 3 Springtide Chocolate Rare Candies - 1 Pair of Magical Elf Ears (Held Item)- This item allows the holder to use the move ‘Trick’ as long as the user holds this item. This item magically returns to the original holder at the end of the battle. Congratulations on finishing your Galar Release Event campaign! After replying to this post you may claim your reward. sixdragons_in_atrenchcoat- Forced to go back the way you came, you make the uncomfortable reverse trip. If it was difficult getting through going forward, it was almost impossible to get through going backwards. You manage it eventually however and after a quick breather, you prepare for the charge through the smog. Shirt pulled around your face, you charge head first into the toxic smog. Your eyes sting and your legs burn as you race up the steep hill, holding your breath for as long as you can. Just when you're about to pass out, you break free of the smog. You collapse in a patch of dried grass, Gible slumping down beside you. Was this all really worth it? So far you hadn't even come close to finding something you wanted, what was the chances you find something on your third and final go? Struggling to find the energy, you roll over onto your hands and knees. You stretch one hand out, only to quickly recoil it with a painful screech. That was hot! What had you touched?! Standing up, you carefully pull back the grass to reveal another egg. This one is bright red, with yellow circles spread across its surface. Was this it? Was this the one? It seems your touch has stirred whatever is inside, as the egg has begun to rock back and forth. You and Gible watch in excitement as the egg hatches, revealing a small insect-like Pokemon. The grass around the newly hatched Pokemon promptly ignites, causing you to jump back in alarm. The hatchling doesn't seem to mind however and slowly crawls out of the smouldering remnants, eager to get acquainted with its new trainer. You obtained: - Lv.1 Male Sizzlipede - 1 TM Flamethrower - 3 Springtide Chocolate Rare Candies - 1 Pair of Magical Elf Ears (Held Item)- This item allows the holder to use the move ‘Trick’ as long as the user holds this item. This item magically returns to the original holder at the end of the battle. Congratulations on finishing your Galar Release Event campaign! After replying to this post you may claim your reward. Maskerade- With a grumpy Bagon by your side, you make your way along the Springtide Nature Trails. You'd dragged him away from his training for this? Walking along a path, hoping to find some egg that had just been left lying around? It all seemed a bit dull to him. Jumping off a high cliff in a hope filled attempt to fly? Now that was a good time! The pair of you search through every bush and bramble as you go. Even the occasional tree if worth the scout, so you boost the Bagon up. The young dragon does a hasty check for eggs before leaping off the highest branch, flapping his tiny arms as he plummets towards the ground. Damn, no luck! At least he had managed to get a bit of extra flying practice in. All the searching and training was starting to make Bagon hungry. Out of the corner of his eye he spots a bush peppered with delicious looking berries. He wastes no time gorging himself and it isn't long before most of the berries are gone! He searches around the bush for more berries, but instead he finds something that might interest you. An egg, pure white like a cloud. It was the first one you've managed to find, but that didn't mean it would be the last. Would you take this one or continue your search? Ironthunder- Nope, this wasn't the one. Whatever was in this egg would have to wait for someone else, because you already had a berry hungry rodent. You carefully pile the berries back up around the egg, making sure to leave it the way that you had found it, there was no point in making this easy for someone else.... With the first egg proving a disappointment, you continue to search around the canopy. Most of the tree holes you find are either empty or filled with berries, no sign of an egg, not yet at least. Looking around at the berries hanging from the trees, you spot something that catches your eye. What was wrong with that berry? You climb up to get a closer look, only to realise it isn't a berry at all, its an egg! The egg has been tethered to a branch and although it seemed pretty secure, it was a rather risky hiding place. The egg is primarily red, although its got a splash of green on the top and is golden brown on the base. Even if you didn't want this egg, maybe it was best to put it in a safer location, it was doubtful that anyone would want their eggs scrambled. Gemini Spark- This wasn't your first trip to the Springtide Isle and it probably wouldn't be your last. You arrive on the shores of the popular event location, with a destination already in mind. Joined by a trio of Fire Pokemon, you head to an area where you are likely to encounter another. The Volcano Path stretched out ahead of your party and it wasn't long before you find yourself running. Calder had galloped off, curiosity filled the young foal, which was understandable. His parents were hot on his trail however, Kenna quickly catching up while a not so happy Happy struggles to keep up with the long strides of the Ponyta and Rapidash. By the time you manage to catch up with the trio, Kenna and Happy are waiting patiently while Calder is busy filling his stomach, munching on a patch of dried grass. You're about to interrupt his snack when the Ponyta lets out a shocked whinny, sparking alarm from both you and his parents. As you rush to his side, there seems to be no immediate threat, the young foal was just surprised! Having cleared away most of the grass, he'd revealed a hole dug deep into the ground. This was certainly suspicious..... You drop to your knees and dig your hands into the hole, your gut telling you there is something hidden within. A smile breaks across your face as your fingers curl around a smooth surface and with a little heave, you pull the egg from its hiding place. Holding up the egg for all to see, you notice it is mostly white with thin red stripes, although there are a few odd spots of yellow as well. You'd been searching for no time at all and had already found an egg. Would you keep this one or keep looking? CyberBlastoise- The search had begun again. You'd been to this exact place before. Last time you had left with an Alolan Geodude, this time it would be something completely different. The chance to find a Pokemon currently unseen in Fizzytopia was always exciting. These ruins had been defiled by the unexpected visitors that had hidden the eggs away, but the reference to Legendary Pokemon from another region was certainly interesting. While you and Silver are busy looking around the shrine, Megas is pounding on the walls, trying to find some sort of hidden passage. You search to the sound of the repetitive thumping, although Silver and yourself seem to be having little luck. You pause as the thumping stops, had Megas found something? You head on over to check on the Golett, it seems he has found a weak spot in the wall! A few hard hits is all it takes for the thin section of wall to crumble. As the dust settles, you find yourself looking into a small chamber, the ceiling barely higher than the top of your head. You step over the rumble to investigate, what was so special about this chamber? Looking around, all you can find is a few oddly placed rocks. Wait, is that one a rock? Megas pushes pass you to inspect it, but when he goes to lift it, he struggles. It must be incredibly heavy. As Megas steps back, you move in to get a better look. This wasn't a rock, it was an egg! It's a bit oddly shaped for an egg, squarer than you'd expect, but the smooth surface and rounded edges were a clear give away. The egg is light grey with a splash of brown on the base, while a strange runic symbol is embossed on the egg's surface. Was this egg worth keeping, or would you continue the search? Myahoo- You were starting to become familiar with this place, but it was hard because every time you come back here, something is different. What was it about this place that made it so popular? So much seemed to happen here, there had to be a reason for it. Pushing that thought to the back of your mind, you concentrate on the task at hand. Wildfire, Spirit and Wildwing were already searching through the flowerbeds. The flowers seemed to stretch on forever, like a rainbow blanket had been elegantly crafted and draped across the rich earth. While Spirit and Wildwing scout from above, Wildfire noses his way around beneath the flowers, certain those sneaky invaders would have concealed them there. You join the search, carefully pushing back flowers to check if anything is hidden beneath. The search continues for quite some time without success. Spirit begins to tire, so she descends to take a rest. Landing in a bed of oddly coloured flowers. The petals on the flowers alternated between purple and teal, they were quite beautiful. As she goes to lay down, Spirit bumps her head on something hard. What an odd place for a rock! Only it wasn't a rock, it was an egg! It takes a moment for the Rowlet to realise, but when she does, she begins to hoot with excitement. Everyone rushes to her location, eager to see what she has found. The bottom half of the egg is pure white, however the top half has alternating purple and cyan stripes, just like the flowers. Was it what you had been looking for? |

Clockwork had found another egg. Man, Clockwork was a champ. Danny held it in his hands, but then, Skull spontaneously pecked at it! A small crack appeared on the bluish, with speckled orange surface. "Well fuck Skull. You cracked it." Danny said as began to drop it, only to watch it crack more and more until it burst. A small tortoise-like Pokemon sat in the eggshell. It had orange on its cheeks, and it had a horn on its head. "Chew, Chewtle!" It shouted as it bit Danny's finger. "Ouch! You've got sharp teeth! I know, I'll call you Incisor!" Danny chuckled, as he turned to see something sticking out behind a rock. Danny rolled the rock to the side, to see 3 rare candies - chocolate flavored, a pair of elf ears, and a blue disk, a TM with the word "Surf" inscribed on the bottom. Danny stuffed all these into his soaked bag, and then went on his merry way. Claiming: - Lv.1 Male Chewtle, naming him Incisor, and stuffing in a Premier Ball. Also, he's got a Strong Jaw! - 1 TM Surf - 3 Springtide Chocolate Rare Candies - 1 Pair of Magical Elf Ears (Held Item) Merry searching everyone!

He should've grown used to it by now, but every time he saw Bagon attempt one of his jumps, he couldn't help but wince. How the drake managed to never break his neck or sustain any kind of serious injury was a miracle in and of itself, but sure enough, mere seconds later after jumping off the tree, Bagon was back on his feet. His search for eggs and the impromptu flight practice seemed to work an appetite though, and before long, the dragon was rummaging a nearby bush for Berries. I... I thought dragons ate meat. I'm not sure whether to feel happy or concerned that Bagon isn't picky with his food at all. It was no secret Ark hoped to see Bagon evolve one day. It was the only way he could ever achieve his dream of flight, after all. But if he ever did manage to raise Bagon into a mighty Salamence, would he even be able to control such a powerful, ferocious beast? He was already such a handful in his basic stage... Soon afterwards, however, Bagon stopped munching. Something else seemed to have caught his eye. "Is something there? Bagon, what do you... Wait, no!" Out of sheer instinct, Ark jumped forward, diving to take the egg away from Bagon's small hands before he could swallow it whole. The landing wasn't pretty, but the pristine white egg was mercifully intact. Bagon just blinked, staring at Ark rolling haphazardly along the floor while doing his very best to keep the shell out of contact with the ground. Gotcha! Thank Arceus... He struggled back to his feet, dusted off his clothes and shook his head while placing the egg back behind a different bush, away from the prying eyes of predators. "Seriously, what is it with my Pokemon always eating what doesn't belong to them?! Come on Bagon, focus, let's keep going. No, stop climbing that tree, for crying out loud!"

TheKnightsFury - With hands, claws, paws, and... webbed appendages upon the egg, you felt confident in your choice. Your team had chosen together to keep this strange purple egg. The marking on the front of the egg was odd, not the mention the purple coloration. You were curious what sort of Pokemon this would hatch into, not to mention exactly when it would hatch. Although... you wouldn't have to wait for long. |

As Aero approached the island, the Mantine skidded onto the beach and Gary hopped off, returning him into his Dive Ball. “Thanks as always, bud,” Gary said as he pulled his shoes out of his backpack and headed away from the beach to put them on. Normally his inclination would be to remain close to the water to begin his search, much like he had years ago when he discovered his beloved Pyukumuku, Pickle, but today his instincts were pulling him in a different direction. Gary made his way up the walking path towards a mystical shrine that had once been dedicated towards magnificent beings representing the Sun and Moon. Now, they had been repurposed with decorations of a Sword and a Shield for reasons unknown. Curiosity overcame Gary as he began to investigate the area and find out more.

"Hmmm...?" Storm headed in the direction of the noise, Rolu already sprinting ahead of him. Storm and Rolu arrived at the scene, only to witness Swinom dizzily pressed against an icy pillar. A small object was dangling on the top of the pillar, falling off as soon as Storm went to pick Swinom up. It tumbled down and hit him square on the forehead, knocking him over backwards. Rolu checked on Storm and saw that he was fine while Swinom just got up on Storm's chest and sat there without a care in the world. After a little while, Storm got up and grasped the fallen object. An Egg! Something about this egg fascinated Storm, overcome with this feeling, he chose to take the egg with him. |

The search resumed, this time on the beach. Willa turned over abandoned umbrellas and chairs, while Vivillon scoured the sandy surface with great Gusts of wind. "Ugh," Willa muttered, hastily dropping the bikini top she'd found. She turned to see how Vivillon was doing... and spotted her circling a spot near the water. "Vivillon?" she called. "You found something?" "Viiiiiivi! Viiiivillon!" trilled Vivillon in response. This was good enough for Willa. She approached the spot Vivillon was circling, and as she waded in the ankle-deep water, she finally saw it- dark purple, half-buried in the sand, and inexplicably spiky, but absolutely, undisputably, an Egg! Willa gave a small smile as she picked up the Egg- the smile was due to remembering when Keith taught her the right way to pick up a Qwilfish without running afoul of the spikes. She found that similar technique went far here as well, and was able to pick it up relatively effortlessly and completely painlessly... and then nearly dropped it out of shock and surprise as it started to glow and shake in her grasp! Both Willa and Vivillon looked on in wonder as the Egg began to change shape... ~~~~~ Keith almost missed the sound of his front door opening because of an inconveniently-timed sneeze, but he heard it nonetheless. "Willa?" he called. "Is that you?" "Indeed," Willa replied with a small smile, walking into the living room. "How are you feeling?" "A little better," Keith smiled back. "That soup definitely helped, it was delicious." "And you have been resting, right?" Willa asked, though still with that small smile. "Yeah," Keith nodded. "Even if I had tried anything, Peeves and Liliana have been taking it in shifts to patrol the entrance hall so I wouldn't be able to get away with anything. "You're welcome!" Peeves called from the entrance hall. Willa couldn't help but give the slightest of giggles at this, the sound of which further pronounced the smile on Keith's face. "So where'd you go, anyway?" Keith asked. "You've been gone a while, and Meowth's been awfully quiet about the whole thing, and you know how unusual that is for him." At this, Willa's sly smile spread wider across her face. "Well... I know how much you wanted to check out that Galarian Egg invasion," she said. "So... I brought a little bit of it to you." Keith's eyes widened, as did his grin. "You didn't," he said. Willa grinned, producing an Ultra Ball. "I did," she replied. "...I love you," Keith smiled. "What's in the ball?" "Well, I think I'll just show you," said Willa, tossing the Ultra Ball into the air. And from within emerged a dark purple creature, small and slightly spherical in stature, studded with several sharp sparking spines. It landed on the coffee table, glancing curiously at Keith. "...A Galarian Pyukumuku?" Keith guessed, producing his Pokédex, which quickly proved him wrong. "Pincurchin, the Sea Urchin Pokémon. An Electric-type," droned the device. "Pincurchin stores electricity in each of its spines. Each spine remains electrified if broken off for up to three hours." Pincurchin looked at Keith. "Curchin curchin? Piiiiincurchin!" he declared happily. Keith and Willa chuckled at Pincurchin's jovial demeanor, but Pisces, the Blue-Striped Basculin swimming in the aquarium, snorted with badly-suppressed laughter Not derisive, snarky laughter, either- whatever Pincurchin said, Pisces apparently found legitimately hilarious. At that moment, Meowth came stumbling into the living room, laughing his tail fur off. "Hah... whoo.. who's da comedian?" he chuckled weakly. "Huh," grinned Keith. "I guess Pincurchin here is something of a comedian. I like a Pokémon with a sense of humor." "Curchin pin, Piiiiiiiincurchin!" Pinchurchin replied. "Pin Pincurchin curchin!" This elicited more laughter from Meowth and Pisces, which Pincurchin seemed to appreciate greatly. "Oh, great," Myrtle complained as she floated through the wall and into the room. "Just what this team needs. More puns." "Hah! Pincurchin, I think you and I are gonna get along just fine," Keith grinned. "Ah, but you need a nickname, don't you... Hmm... y'know what? I'm gonna call you Fred," he decided. "You OK with that?" 'Pincurch? Curchin! Piiiiiiincurchin!" declared Fred. His tone of voice was rather agreeable. Even Willa gave a small smile and the slightest of chuckles. "Heh. You approve, I take it?" Keith asked with a smile. "Well, yes," nodded Willa. "Just... I get that reference," she said. "All he needs now is a twin brother named George." "...Thanks, Willa," Keith said a little more quietly. "Like... You didn't have to do this for me." Willa shrugged. "I never felt like I adequately thanked you for Vivillon, and this seemed like a perfect chance to do that," she replied. "And... I know you were sad about having to miss out on this," she added. For a few moments, the couple simply smiled at each other wordlessly. "Thank you," Keith said to Willa. "I'd be moving in for a kiss right about now, but I don't think you want to catch this cold." "...if I did catch your cold, though," Willa began. "Would you take care of me as I'm doing for you now?" Keith smiled. "Absolutely," he replied. Willa smiled back. "Then screw it, I'll take my chances," she said simply, before moving in and kissing her boyfriend. Quote:
*Obtained the Magical Elf Ears!* *Willa obtained a TM93 Wild Charge!* Thanks, TKF! Cool event, and while I didn't get what I was specifically after, I am not disappointed in the slightest! Claiming my male Pyukumuku in this Ultra Ball (#9 of 10), naming him Fred, and declaring his Ability to be Electric Surge. And using my new TM on my Skiddo. *Skiddo learned Wild Charge!* |

Streaks of black, blue and white contrasted with the shrubbery as the young woman strode along the cliffside, thick layers of clothes thankfully guarding against chilly winds. It was because of that weather that the two didn't get too close to the edge - lest they be blown over the side and to their deaths. That wouldn't make for a fun treasure hunt. No, they were hoping to leave with a new Galarian Pokemon at best, and their lives at the least. That wasn't too much to ask for, right? Right.

Maskerade- You manage to save the egg from ending up in Bagon's stomach, but it isn't long before the little Dragon is off searching for more eggs. You watch as he continues to climb tree after tree, quickly searching before diving down, arms flailing helplessly. It becomes a bit of a routine, you search low, he searches high, you shake your head as he crashes into the ground head first again..... Finally the young Bagon pauses, spotting something tucked into the highest branches of a tree. Is that a nest? He scrambles up the branches, inching closer and closer to the nest as the tree sways from side to side. Branches snap and sticks rain down upon you, maybe this time he would fall unintentionally? He is about to reach the nest when the rocking shakes something lose. You react quickly, lining yourself up for the catch. Your hands grasp the egg about a foot off the ground, another close call. Bagon looks down, you expect to see a bit of shame but instead he just leaps out of the tree, again. Ignoring the Dragon as he crashes to the ground, you inspect the egg in your hands. Its a mix of blue and black, with a yellow band stretched around the middle. Bagon dusts himself off before coming over to inspect the egg himself. It looked alright to him, but what we he know? This egg had pretty much fallen into your lap, would you keep it or put it back? Meetan- Despite the time of year, it was actually still quite pleasant on the Springtide Isle. A cold breeze was blowing but it was nothing a jacket couldn't account for. You'd been to the Isle more than once, this time seemed a lot less chaotic than last time though. All the drama had settled and everyone was getting along pleasantly. As you and Theo walked along the Nature Trails, you notice the path is well worn at this point. Other trainers had already been through here, did that mean that they'd already taken all of the eggs?! Surely not, there would surely be plenty of eggs to go around. You're searching through a nearby bush when Theo suddenly disappears. Where did that little dino go? There is no need to panic as thankfully he sticks out like a sore thumb and you spot him rummaging through a bush, picking off the few remaining berries on top. They must have been out of reach for whatever at the rest of them. You head over to join the Rock/Ice type and quickly spot something tucked into the base of the bush. It's an egg! As white as a cloud, the egg seems to be in pristine condition, apart from what appears to be a bit of dried drool on it? Gross! Had someone found this egg before you? If so they'd left it behind, would you do the same? Theo sniffs the egg before stepping back and looking at it curiously, what was inside? |

Suddenly, Calder jolts out of it with a whinny, and his parents as well as Hyrem rush closer to him to find that Calder was surprised to find a hole right in front of him! Had he taken a step further, his hoof could have slipped into there, but thankfully he had noticed in time. As Hyrem discovered what Calder had spotted, he stepped towards the burrow, saying, “Huh, nice place for a hole. Wonder if…” He sat down and stuck both hands inside, taking the risk that there wasn’t anything in there that could sink their fangs into either or both hands, and grins as soon as he finds something smooth, round, and unmoving. “Yes! Gotta be one of ‘em!” he encourages himself as he gets himself a better grip on the object before carefully pulling it out to reveal it was indeed one of the eggs hidden on the island! As he sat down with the egg and allowed his three Fire Pokemon to inspect it, he saw some very distinct red and yellow markings around the dominantly white shell and continued holding onto it. “Nice! It might be the first egg, but I’ve got a good feeling about this one!” he said as Happy, Kenna, and Calder all voiced their own approval for this egg as well. This one had to be something good if it was an egg in a fiery based area that didn’t seem to be particularly fire-themed at first...

Everyone else already probably wrapped up their expedition and retrieved dozens of eggs. And here I am, empty-handed, because the only egg we did find was about to be eaten if I hadn't hidden it back... It was at that point that Bagon, having climbed yet another tree, lingered atop the branches for a while rather than immediately attempt another leap of faith. Ark found the lack of a thumping noise odd and, looking up, found his drake rummaging around the treetop, something having caught his eye. Was that... a nest? "H-hey... we shouldn't be messing with it Bagon! What if whoever built the nest comes back?" Odds were, judging by the size of the round structure, the creature that built it dwarfed Bagon. And in that case, the longer his partner remained up there, the more he was tempting fate. "Get down! What are you... Oh, oh no, oh crap!" The branch beneath Bagon's feet snapped, and the dragon fell, dragging the contents of the nest with him. Ark knew Bagon would be fine, but whatever else collided with the ground definitely wouldn't, and so, for the second time in less than an hour, the boy found himself rushing to save somethig from certain doom. Sure enough, the drake was unharmed by the fall, while Ark managed to cradle the large object in his arms inches away from impact with the floor. It was another egg. Well, that was close! But we should probably put it back where... Uh? Bagon was tugging at his leg, demanding Ark's attention. The boy sighed and shook his head. "Listen, I didn't let you eat that last egg, what makes you think I'd..." The drake growled in annoyance, stretching his stubby arms towards the egg. The eagerness in his eyes... wasn't hunger. "Wh-what do you?... Why do you want this egg so badly? If you don't want to eat, then..." Suddenly, it hit him. The egg was in a nest, perched atop a tree. Clearly, Bagon deduced it would belong to a bird. "You want to see what hatches from this egg... hoping it'll teach you to fly. That's it, isn't it?" Bagon nodded. Ark could swear his eyes watered up ever-so-briefly; that was how much his dream meant to him, that he would cling so dearly to something so unlikely as this. We don't even know what's gonna come out of this egg. And even if he's right, and a Pokemon that can fly does come out, what good would it do? But still... They had come here to retrieve eggs to begin with, right? And Bagon's hope, futile as it was, was something Ark didn't have the heart to take away. The drake didn't deserve it, and he worked harder for his dream than anyone else Ark knew. Harder than Ark himself. "...Fine, you win. We'll keep it. We weren't the first ones to steal this egg, so we're just... well, stealing it back from those Meowth. Yeah, totally justified!"

From the corner of his eye, he caught sight of Salandit and Drillbur, dutifully searching for eggs and he smiled. Though they were both still young, Hugo had forged a strong bond with his partners – all of his partners. He was so proud to see how they were developing, almost feeling like a parent to them. He looked back at the Egg in his hands. Though he tried to be a man of reason and logic, he knew that sometimes there was no choice but to rely on the feeling in his heart. And while he knew that whatever was in this egg would likely instill the same feeling for some trainer that Hugo felt for his Pokemon, he also knew that this one just wasn’t the right match for him. Delicately, he placed the egg back on the ground and kept searching.

She had been digging through a bush when she realised that Theo hadn't shown his cute little face in a while, and her heart lurched, prompting her to withdraw to find her baby. The little one hadn't gotten far, to her relief, and she went over to see what he was doing. "Have you found something over there, little mister?" Alice inquired curiously. It seemed that he hadn't. He was just taking a snack, but as Alice sat down to wait him out, she noticed there was something else sticking out sorely where her Pokemon rummaged... "There was an egg next to you the whole time! For Arceus' sake, Theo." Alice chided playfully. She shooed him away so that she could try to get in, half the leaves probably pulling through her hair as she retrieved the pristine cloud of an egg. This was exciting - it looked like they might have hit their jackpot... If not for the drool stuck to the shell. "Eww, god, that's gross." Alice complained with a grimace, lips twisting as she plucked some leaves to attempt to wipe the stuff off. Still, the shell would matter not once whatever inside hatched, so other people or Pokemon's grim saliva weren't reasons to turn her nose up at the bounty. "What d'you think, Theo, should we take it?" Alice asked with a brighter tone. The Amaura seemed to cheer his agreement, leaning in to sniff and lightly nuzzle his scent onto the egg. Well, that was that, then!

The symbol was very intriguing. He jotted it down on the notebook, but this egg did not feel right for him to take. He set it carefully back down and told the remaining two pokemon. "Alright we found a sealed chamber. Maybe if we dig deeper we can find some more. Come on you two, let's search and see if we can find something else." The group split up within the small chamber. Bill started lifting up some of the other rocks while Megas was back to inspecting walls and Silver started dousing the walls with his water, so as to clean the old dirt off of them. |

An egg. Red, with splodges of amber and green. An interesting colour scheme, to be sure, and yet Liawe had no idea what could lie within. The egg seemed undamaged at first, but even as Liawe looked to see where it came from and thus where to return it to, cracks began to appear: Something was on its way out. The spectacle aroused curiosity from the Crimson Fandango, who climbed back out of its seat in her bag to watch the spectacle of an egg hatching, and the arrival of the team's newest member. (Taking this one.)

Gary - Considering your familiarity with the area, you were quick to notice that the old shrines that were once set in place to celebrate the deities of Sun and Moon had been replaced, or rather remodeled, to now resemble two beasts that had something to do with Swords and Shields. The area immediately piqued your interest due to this, and you were quick to wander around the shrine --- searching for anything that seemed out of the ordinary. The secrets of the place lingered in the back of your mind, and you couldn't help but think back to the new remodel of the shrine. What did it mean? And what were those beasts holding a Sword and Shield? |
