Trainer Information Lucas Age: ~ Appearance: ~work in progress~ Background & Personality: ~work in progress~ Though tricked, the Rags quickly became friendly with the boy and learned of his health problem. Confined to his room, the two spent most of their days inside between books, lego bricks and other indoor activities. Their favourite though, by far, was the picture book of professional photographs, each one showcasing a magnificent display of Pokémon and their natural habitats of deserts, jungles and icy ruins. The two made a pact that one day, when Lucas got better, they would head out on their own adventure to see the places for themselves. Their luck came when the region’s professor happened to live in the exact same city and was known for sending youngsters with exceptional skills on adventures with an electronic copy of the Pokémon encyclopaedia. Unfortunately, the two were unable to show the professor, or anyone outside their house for that matter, what they were capable of. For the professor to consider them, he’d have to recognise them as being extraordinary people with battling skills or knowledge. This didn’t stop them though, and by the time Lucas’ illness faded, controlled by an aerosol of herbs he keeps as ‘cigarettes’, the two entered the examination. Lucas left the exam as one of the first, causing sniggers and sneers from all the other contestants as they assumed he had given up. To their surprise, it turned out he had achieved one of the highest scores on the professor’s written exam in a long time, as a result of Lucas and Rags having been confined to his room and surrounded by books they’ve been studying for years. Despite having never heard of the young man before or seen him in action, the professor opted to give him a Pokédex on account of his unique qualities, to which Lucas replied eagerly by vigorously shaking the professor’s and giving an obnoxious cheer. --- Lucas wouldn’t come across as someone with a whole lot of common sense, preferring to start fights or problems by not considering consequences simply for the sake of fun. His lack of outside contact is evident as he rarely seeks contact with other people and has little disregard for their welfare or being, preferring to seek treasure and wealth. Often, his partner Rags will have to act as his conscience, who relies on his former Ralts’ stage to sense the emotions of other people and how they’re reacting to his trainer. Despite his foolish antics and immaturity, he has shown to understand more than he what he may give off and is astutely aware of what he’s doing, planning some of his actions in advance. His extensive knowledge of the Pokémon world, as tested for the Pokédex written exam, is proof that he knows more than he often lets on. Indeed, under certain moments of pressure his expression changes from his usual grin to a bitter scowl that reflects his deep thought. Lucas’ ultimate goal for his adventures remains the same as when he grew up: to travel to far exotic places and visit every location that matched a picture in his picture book, accompanied by Rags of course. Prior to meeting Lucas, Rags was a vagrant who lived on the streets. The emotional turmoil of the city’s residents at night as he passed through the streets had taken a heavy toll on the Pokémon, making him cynical of others and finding his sensitivity to emotions to be a curse. On the streets he had to fend against other Pokémon, while avoiding the stronger ‘leaders’ of the alleys; a pack of Mightyena. While Rags had often tried to defend himself against them, it was usually in vain, but after his meet-up with Lucas, the boy who could never leave his house for some reason, the Ralts found a new sense of purpose. And with the aid of the other oppressed street Pokémon, fought back against the Mightyena, and drove them off the streets. Rags has since remained with Lucas, accompanying him as his most trusted friend, loyal companion and first Pokémon. The advent of his final days on the street gave the Ralts a new purpose; to become stronger. Strong enough that he would not have to cower in fear of others, and strong enough that he could protect the weak when they needed it. His abilities to sense the emotions of others was no longer a curse. In the presence of Lucas, the Ralts dubbed ‘Rags’, he had gained a newfound respect for his powers, and gained a more optimistic outlook on his future. Rags has stayed with Lucas for years, and in their time together have formed an emotional bond that could not be severed and persevered even when the Pokémon evolved into a Gallade. Rags can often sense his trainers’ emotions, who, in turn, can often understand his thoughts without many words. As a Gallade, Rags has donned the role of his childhood ambition; ‘Protector of the Weak’, as well as the party’s second-in-command and main combatant. While Rags may have evolved and matured on their travels, his trainer Lucas has not always. As a result, Rags has taken the duty of acting as his trainer’s moral compass (as well as frustrated parent), often pressuring him to take action and do ‘the right thing’. Lately, as Lucas has slowly been maturing more, the knightly and cordial Gallade has been acting as a valet instead, taking a step back to observe his trainer’s moral choices, but intervening when he feels the need to. Rags has almost no problems when it comes to fighting but will always try to do so in a just manner, avoiding any form of deceptive or unfair combat. Examples are that he’ll never initiate combat by attacking a Pokémon from behind or try to outnumber his opponent when allying with others. Due to his past with Lucas, he has developed a fondness for apples and sunsets while greatly disliking Poochyenas and Mightyenas. As a ‘just’ swordmaster, he despises those who pick on the weak or abuse their power, and will often seek to bring them to justice. His passion to see those committing crimes be punished accordingly may sometimes make him blind to his own actions which can be described as a relentless thirst for vengeance. Because of this, he occasionally buts heads with the Lucario ‘Scraps’, the group’s third-in-command. Scraps Spoiler: show Species: Lucario | Gender: Male | Obtained: Hatchery Type: Fighting / Steel | Ability: Justified | Nature: Brave Evolution Line: Riolu -(Friendship)-> Lucario Level: 30 | Bond: 30 | Pokeball: Luxury Ball | Held Item: Contest Stats: Cute: 0, Beautiful: 0, Tough: 0, Smart: 0, Cool: 0 Boutique Modifications: Moves: Level Up: Aura Sphere, Bone Rush, Close Combat, Copycat, Counter, Dark Pulse, Detect, Dragon Pulse, Endure, Extreme Speed, Feint, Force Palm, Foresight, Laser Focus, Me First, Metal Claw, Metal Sound, Power-Up Punch, Quick Attack, Reversal, Screech, Swords Dance Advanced Move: - TM/HM/CM Moves: Gummi Bomb (Fairy) MT/Egg Moves: Blaze Kick, Bullet Punch, Crunch, Water Pulse Roles: Third-in-Command, Combatant, Aura Sensate, Boxer Special Appearance: - Bio: Lucas met Scraps as a Riolu when passing through a city. The Riolu was a vagrant, much like Rags was before meeting Lucas. Scraps was a Pokémon of grit and determination, often overcoming some of the smaller street Pokémon and using that strength to help some of the weaker. Yet, despite this, he was a lonely Pokémon and often quickly beat up. Alongside his encounter with Lucas, Scraps met the Gallade Rags who the Riolu quickly looked up to when the Pokémon came to his aid and helped defend him against some violent pursuers. It was after Lucas and Rags decided to help the Riolu and rid his streets of the violent oppressors that Riolu joined their side, looking towards Rags as a future mentor. It was later during their shared training, and Scraps had evolved, that the differences between the two ‘Justice’ Pokémon grew increasingly clearer. Scraps started resenting Rags for some of his more rigid beliefs in justice. While the Gallade believed in pursuing wrongdoers and holding them accountable for their actions, the Lucario, sensitive to the auras of others, leaned stronger towards forgiveness and mercy. His other counter towards Rags is that because of his leniency towards forgiveness and mercy, Scraps cares little for being outnumbered by opponents or outnumbering them. Knocking an opponent back with overwhelming force should be alright in his book, as long as you're prepared to hold off in the end. While both Pokémon believe in upholding a strong moral code, their differences in approach puts them at odds every now and then. Lucas uses Scraps as one of his other advisers on moral dilemmas, and as a counter to Rags when need be. Lucas uses Scraps’ sensitivity to aura as a means to track people or Pokémon when needed, or to assess an opponent when called for. Scraps also acts as the party’s third in command when neither Lucas or Rags are around, and is often employed in battle. Scraps relies in combat on a combination of his physical strengths and his aura manipulation; using physical punches, clubs or kicks when close up and generating energy pulses from a distance. As a result of their immaturity and close bond, the dragons would often misbehave and roughhouse one another. Upon evolving, Sal took on a more determined persona, eventually receiving special training on Lucas’ island to fully develop her abilities. As a dragon she’s resolute in her aims and quick to anger. Despite her draconic heritage though, Sal has retained some of her misdemeanour from her time as a Bagon on Lucas’ team and looks up to him for advice and approval. Having achieved her dream as a Bagon being able to fly, Sal despises battling in restrictive areas, preferring large open plains instead where she has the capability to fly. In battle, she can often be found flying past and over her opponent - even when not necessary - and rarely landing on the ground. Because of this, her most often used manner of battle is one that relies on attacks she can throw from a distance, most notably her breath from which she spews Flamethrowers, Hydropumps and Dragon Pulses. She’s not against close-up, personal battles though and will pursue physical moves if the mood strikes her or the situation calls for it. Despite his draconic heritage though, Hai has retained some of his misdemeanour from his time as a Gible on Lucas’ team and looks up to him for advice and approval. In battle, Hai is quick to use his dragon powers in an attempt overwhelm the opponent. He prefers fighting in areas such as cliffs where he can freely fly and scale the walls to circle around his opponent. His preferred manner of attacking are his fangs though, eagerly setting his jaws on his opponent with a firm grip. In battle, Sar will throw in her tusks at the opponent in multiple attempts to cleave, chop, cut or slice them. She’s relentless in her pursuit of her opponent, overcoming their abilities and brushing them off like they’re nothing. She prefers fighting in large caves, roomy enough to move about but restrictive in her opponent’s movement, forcing them to engage her and her tusks head-on. Lost Souls Doom Spoiler: show Species: Absol | Gender: Male | Obtained: Trade with Kaisap Type: Dark | Ability: Super Luck | Nature: Serious Evolution Line: - Level: 33 | Bond: 30 | Pokeball: Premier ball | Held Item: Contest Stats: Cute: 10, Beautiful: 10, Tough: 10, Smart: 10, Cool: 10 Boutique Modifications: Moves: Level Up: Bite, Detect, Double Team, Feint, Future Sight, Leer, Me First, Night Slash, Perish Song, Pursuit, Quick Attack, Razor Wind, Scratch, Slash, Swords Dance, Taunt Advanced Move: - TM/HM/CM Moves: Frost Breath, Gummi Bomb (Poison), Shadow Claw, Stone Edge MT/Egg Moves: Baton Pass, Hex, Magic Coat, Megahorn, Sucker Punch, Superpower, Zen Headbutt Roles: Combatant, Disaster Detector, Precision, Critical Strikes Bio: Doom was merely a new-born when Lucas received him, a fact he was unaware of when the trade was made. As a child, Doom was an excitable and curious Pokémon who didn’t mind running off from his trainer at times, and often causing trouble as he went his way. Because of his playful demeanour, Doom was quickly accepted by the rest of Lucas’ Pokémon, despite the fear of the name he was given, or the title he bore of ‘The Disaster Pokémon’. After an unfortunate and serious event [yet to be written], the Absol’s joyful childhood was quickly whisked away from him, forcing him to grow-up and mature quickly as he had to learn of life’s difficulties. His personality appears broken in some ways, having become a more stoic and serious natured Pokémon who’d rarely interact with others, preferring the comfort of solitude. Doom’s battle style revolves around his ability of predicting disaster, and his uncanny luck. His ability ‘Super Luck’ combined with sharp-clawed moves allow him to deliver critical hits on his opponent when they’re not careful. Lucas isn’t afraid of using Doom in battle, and is more likely to do so when he’s confident enough to rely on his luck. Faust Spoiler: show Species: Dusknoir | Gender: | Obtained: Trade with Marblezone Type: Ghost | Ability: Pressure | Nature: Quiet Evolution Line: Duskull -(Level 37)-> Dusclops -(Trade holding Reaper Cloth)-> Dusknoir Level: 43 | Bond: 30 | Pokeball: Ghost ball | Held Item: Contest Stats: Cute: 0, Beautiful: 0, Tough: 0, Smart: 0, Cool: 0 Boutique Modifications: Moves: (Note to self, Dusclops-only moves: Mega Kick, Body Slam, Double-Edge, Counter, Seismic Toss, Endure) Level Up: Astonish, Bind, Confuse Ray, Curse, Disable, Fire Punch, Foresight, Future Sight, Gravity, Hex, Ice Punch, Leer, Mean Look, Night Shade, Pursuit, Shadow Punch, Shadow Sneak, Thunder Punch, Will-o-Wisp Advanced Move: - TM/HM/CM Moves: Blizzard, Brain Freeze, Earthquake Flash, Ice Beam, Trick Room, Will-O-Wisp MT/Egg Moves: Dark Pulse, Dynamicpunch, Mega Punch, Metronome, Mimic, Pain Split Roles: Combatant, Spirit Detector, Spectral Freezing, Lock-Down Bio: Another addition to the team. After having fulfilled his role in his old team, Faust was traded to Lucas in the hopes of finding a home more suited to him. Faust appears to be a quiet Pokémon, having not said a word to anyone since they first met. He doesn't interact with anyone else but does always stay close to his team. One might think him to be a disobedient Pokémon, but nothing is further from the truth - Faust appears to be extremely obedient though no reason can be given for this. Faust is the only Pokémon on the team Lucas actively worries about, often wondering how the Pokémon feels at times since he often acts more like an obedient puppet than a living soul. As a Dusknoir, Faust has regained some of his speech, though rarely makes use of this talent, if at all. Faust appears to have taken up a new purpose in life. As a Dusknoir, a Pokémon reaper, Faust can sometimes detect spirits in the vicinity and will actively hunt them down, believing it to be his cause to resolve the matter of separating the living from the dead when needed. Faust’s battle style relies on chilling his opponent. Either through cold, windy and ominous attacks or his cool and quiet demeanour coupled with his blank stare. Faust is rarely, if ever, used for battle and used mainly for keeping his party in check by freezing/scaring them in place. That’s not to say that he can’t use his personality effectively in battle. Amabel Spoiler: show Species: Eelektross | Gender: Female | Obtained: Trade with Jolteonjak Type: Electric | Ability: Levitate | Nature: Naughty Evolution Line: Tynamo -(Level 39)-> Eelektrik -(Thunder Stone)-> Eelektross Level: 41 | Bond: 21 | Pokeball: Pokeball | Held Item: Contest Stats: Cute: 10, Beautiful: 10, Tough: 10, Smart: 10, Cool: 10 Boutique Modifications: Moves: Level Up: Acid, Acid Spray, Bind, Charge Beam, Coil, Crunch, Crush Claw, Discharge, Gastro Acid, Headbutt, Ion Deluge, Spark, Tackle, Thrash, Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Zap Cannon Advanced Move: - TM/HM/CM Moves: Dragon Claw, Drain Punch, Flamethrower MT/Egg Moves: Aqua Tail, Giga Drain, Magnet Rise, Signal Beam Roles: Combatant, Underwater/Diver, Paralyser, Leech Bio: Amabel, or Amp, was rambunctious tot as a Tynamo, often running off in spite of orders or shocking those near here as a greeting. None of this was out of mischief though. Amabel tends to be overexcited at things often and will often act first and think second. As an Eelektross she hasn’t lost all of those characteristics. With her newly grown arms she’ll often make attempts to hug others, only to shock them later with a chortle from excitement. She enjoys witnessing people react to this as well. Amabel is one of Lucas’ main combatants, specifically in the department of electric attacks. While Wattson the Magnezone is used as a lofty tank with Lock-Down abilities, Amabel is more straightforward, preferring to charge in and overpower her opponent with her attacks. As an eel, and having the ability to freely swim underwater, she’ll often be used for water, or rather underwater, battles, in an attempt to gain an unsporting type or field advantage. Rose Spoiler: show Species: Roselia | Gender: Female | Obtained: Trade with EBE Type: Grass / Poison | Ability: Poison Point | Nature: Mild Evolution Line: Budew -(Friendship)-> Roselia -(Shiny Stone)-> Roserade Level: 31 | Bond: 30 | Pokeball: Luxury ball | Held Item: Rose Incense Contest Stats: Cute: 10, Beautiful: 30, Tough: 10, Smart: 10, Cool: 10 Boutique Modifications: Moves: Level Up: Absorb, Grass Whistle, Growth, Leech Seed, Magical Leaf, Mega Drain, Poison Sting, Stun Spore, Water Sport, Worry Seed Advanced Move: Frenzy Plant TM/HM/CM Moves: Attract, Cut, Fatal Attraction, Grass Knot MT/Egg Moves: Defensive Shield, Extrasensory, Giga Drain, Grass Whistle, Leaf Storm, Pin Missile, Razor Leaf, Spikes, Synthesis Roles: Combatant, Poison Prick, Deadly Allure Bio: Rose was a curious Pokémon when obtained. Though shy, she appeared to have taken a liking to the trainer Lucas, which appeared to have been the reason her former trainer left her at his Secret Base after a storm destroyed most of it. Initially a Budew when traded, Lucas has only ever known her as a Roselia, indicating the evolution happened only moments after she was transferred to his party. Rose feels welcome in his new party though rarely says anything of the sorts. Lucas is still in the midst of training her for the outside world and battle, but she has already appeared to be more than competent. Her preferred style revolves around the use of her Poison Point ability as well spores and powders that may incapacitate the opponent. If that is not enough, Rose makes use of moves such as [Attract] and [Sweet Scent] to lure them in, only to sap their strength afterwards in ways only a femme fatale could. Kong Spoiler: show Species: Slaking | Gender: Male | Obtained: Trade with Hayward Type: Normal | Ability: Truant | Nature: Lax Evolution Line: Slakoth -(Level 18)-> Vigoroth -(Level 36)-> Slaking Level: 38 | Bond: 30 | Pokeball: Premier ball | Held Item: Contest Stats: Cute: 10, Beautiful: 10, Tough: 10, Smart: 10, Cool: 10 Boutique Modifications: Moves: Level Up: Amnesia, Chip Away, Counter, Covet, Encore, Endure, Feint Attack, Fling, Focus Energy, Focus Punch, Fury Swipes, Hammer Arm, Punishment, Scratch, Slack Off, Slash, Swagger, Reversal, Uproar, Yawn TM/HM/CM Moves: Façade, Gummi Bomb (Psychic), Rock Climb, Strength MT/Egg Moves: Crush Claw, Dynamicpunch, Fire Punch, Hammer Arm, Ice Punch, Mega Kick, Mega Punch, Pursuit, Shadow End, Skill Swap Sleep Talk Sucker Punch, Thunderpunch, Tickle Roles: Combatant, Berserker Bio: Since the moment Lucas obtained Kong he's been a nuisance. Disrespectful, lazy and inconsiderate, Kong has most definitely been hard to handle. Despite all this, Lucas hasn't ever come close to abandoning it and it was at the moment when this became evident that Kong was able to overcome his nightmares of abandonment. Once the nightmares were over, the sloth Pokémon was able to get a good rest for once leading to him feeling pumped up with energy which caused him to evolve. His new evolutionary stage, a Vigoroth, is exactly the opposite of what the sloth Pokémon once was and represents the new-found power that has risen from his new union with Lucas. Kong was still problematic though. Energetic to say the least. Never sitting still, always moving and rearing to battle, Kong had given a Lucas a whole new range of trouble. Due to an anger-induced rage when facing a Gastly, Kong burst into a fury that forced him into evolving to his final stage of a Slaking. While he now regains his initial sloth-like behaviour that was well-established as a Slakoth, Kong has become more obedient and can spring into action at times when ordered to do so. His physical prowess makes him a beast on the battlefield and Kong is often used in dire situations when barbaric strength and brute force is required, usually as a fall-back. Despite Rags being the main combatant on Lucas’ team, Kong is considered the powerhouse he uses for battles where grace isn’t a factor to consider. Crobat Spoiler: show Species: Crobat | Gender: Female | Obtained: Egg House Type: Poison / Flying | Ability: Infiltrator | Nature: Lonely Evolution Line: Zubat -(Level 22)-> Golbat -(Friendship)-> Crobat Level: 30 | Bond: 30 | Pokeball: Pokeball | Held Item: Contest Stats: Cute: 10, Beautiful: 10, Tough: 10, Smart: 10, Cool: 10 Boutique Modifications: Moves: Level Up: Absorb, Air Cutter, Astonish, Bite, Confuse Ray, Cross Poison, Leech Life, Mean Look, Poison Fang, Screech, Supersonic, Swift, Wing Attack Advanced Move: - TM/HM/CM Moves: Fly, U-Turn MT/Egg Moves: Feint Attack, Fly, Giga Drain, Hypnosis, Ominous Wind, Pursuit, Quick Attack, Steel Wing, Super Fang Roles: Combatant, Lone Wolf, Infiltrator, Stealth Bio: The first hatchling to be added to Lucas' team. She feels out of sorts in between the others and spends most of her time separate from the others, not feeling she belongs that well. Though she appears to be fine with it, and like Doom prefers being alone at times. As a Crobat her fangs and wings developed, allowing her to perform more devastating attacks with toxic venom and speed. Her battle style and overall use reflects this; Mal is more often employed as a spy and infiltrator, relying on her natural stealth to bypass obstacles and opponents before being noticed. In battle, she will most likely be used when speed is considered a necessity, sometimes drawing out a battle when needed so her venom may take a hold off her opponent. As a Magnemite, he had developed a method for effectively communicating with others, saying 'Mag' when meaning 'yes' and 'Mite' when meaning 'no'. Because of this, Wattson oftem came across as distant and robotic when in fact the opposite is quite true. Wattson may very well be one of Lucas’ most feeling of Pokémon. Despite being the most inorganic Pokémon, he is the most sensitive when it comes to his emotions and can easily feel insulted. His sensitivity was also evident as a Magnemite whenever he came in close contact with electronic or magnetic devices. In most cases, the device would jam his inner core, making him bounce and jitter erratically in place which often lead to confusion. It is considered dangerous to be close to him when this happens, even if it does look funny. In extreme cases, Wattson might have even turned himself 'off' when the situation seemed dire. This state will look a lot like being knocked-out except that he will recover in a matter of minutes. As a Magnezone however, Wattson has appeared to gain some stability over his inner core, now instead being the one who’s electromagnetic waves disrupt the devices around him. Wattson is often oblivious of this very fact and needs reminding when it occurs. Even if Wattson is a sensitive Pokémon, he is mechanoid nonetheless as is seen in his battle style. He gives quick responses in the form of ‘Mag’ and ‘Zone’ and abuses attacks such as Lock-On and Recycle to effectively lock-down an opponent with almost bare minimum requirements. For this reason, Wattson is often used for battle when precise calculation and program-execution is required. Sterope tends to shy away from others, including her own team members. She's easily started or frightened, a fact that Kong, as a Vigoroth, accidentally exploited with his loud shouts. The Ponyta has taken a quick liking to Lucas and trusts him enough to stay close though it is mainly so she has someone to hide behind if someone else approaches her. Because she was born shortly before being traded to Lucas, she has had some trouble with walking and galloping, forcing Lucas to withhold his hopes of riding a Ponyta into battle. As she grew and gained confidence, Sterope’s change in mood was made evident by her evolution. While remaining Timid and sometimes bashful, the newly evolved Rapidash was not as easily spooked by others as before. Sterope, or Star, is mostly used for fast transportation across land, having even gained a special saddle and riding gear from the Boutique for this. She will rarely, if ever, be used directly for battle but that doesn’t mean she can’t hold her own. Sterope’s battle style revolves around her use of speed, galloping around her opponents while blitzing them with fire attacks from her enchanting mane. About nearly everything, except for her love for her team members for whom she’ll fight to her last ounce of strength to protect them. Lucas mostly employs her as transportation across snowy terrain, a fact she’s aware of and doesn’t mind in the slightest. In fact, she very much enjoys any time she gets to spend with her trainer and allies. In addition, her bulky size and immunity to cold weather makes her an excellent combatant when needed, using her massive body weight for large earthquakes or giant tusks for goring. She thereupon quickly evolved into a Wailord. Pearl is considered to be somewhat slow and dim-witted but has great love for her fellow team mates. He often goes out on her own, allowing her to be called upon from most places near the ocean. She greatly enjoys this, seeing her team mates and trainer and will often spout water or cause a giant wave to flood the adventuring party. Despite being used mainly for transport, Pearl has battling capabilities that allow her to hold her own against other aquatic Pokémon. Blackbeard (short: Black) Spoiler: show Species: Chatot | Gender: Male | Obtained: Trade with Missingo. Blackbeard has a more playful nature, mimicking others' sentences and taunting them with it. Though his mimicry may appear random at times, there is a small suspicion that Blackbeard knows perfectly well what he's saying and has even been caught on a few occasions with producing original speech, indicative that it understands more than it lets on. He likes to perch on others' shoulders, whether he is acquainted with that person or not. Blackbeard has a bit of trouble adapting to his new group and often teases them because of it. His favourite person for teasing will, however, always be the Meowth that belonged to his previous trainer. Despite having battle prowess, as was seen in his first fight against Floss, Blackbeard’s is rarely used as a fighter, instead being relied on his ability to record short pieces of conversation and relay them over a distance. Because of this he is more often used as scout or spy, sent ahead to record events that may lie in the distance. Greycoat (short: Grey) Spoiler: show Species: Beheeyem | Gender: Male | Obtained: Egg House Type: Psychic | Ability: Analytic | Nature: Calm Evolution Line: Elgyem -(Level 42)-> Beheeyem Level: 44 | Bond: 30 | Pokeball: Space ball | Held Item: Contest Stats: Cute: 10, Beautiful: 10, Tough: 10, Smart: 10, Cool: 10 Boutique Modifications: Moves: Level Up: Confusion, Growl, Heal Block, Headbutt, Hidden Power (Fire), Imprison, Miracle Eye, Psybeam, Psychic, Psychic Terrain, Psych Up, Simple Beam, Synchronoise, Wonder Room, Zen Headbutt Advanced Move: - TM/HM/CM Moves: Energy Ball MT/Egg Moves: Cosmic Power, Disable, Magic Coat, Shadow Half, Skill Swap, Teleport, Trick Roles: Support, Communication, Visual & Mental, Memory-Distorter Bio: Grey was encountered by Lucas and his team near a famous meteor crash site. The lonely Pokémon, with no clearly defined parentage or origin was quickly harassed by the local Solrock and Lunatone. Lucas intervened with support of the Elgyem after which it decided to follow and track Lucas’ and his team. Later on, Lucas caught him and invited him to join his party. Grey tends to be a calm and docile Pokémon who rarely speaks up, preferring to observe. His combat strength is mostly relied on as a support for others, though he may hold himself in battle for a while when needed. After his evolution, Grey gained a unique function on the team similar to Black. Because of his species characteristics, Greycoat is sometimes asked to transfer new memories into Lucas’ mind, knowing they’re fake. This lends Lucas an additional second pair of eyes for observation. The trade-off however comes in the fact that one of Lucas’ memories must be altered, Grey is unable to implant any new memories otherwise. Because he’s still new at his abilities as a Beheeyem, Grey’s memory tampering aren’t foolprrof and he often makes mistakes. In same cases it may be obvious such as a lack of colour or sound, other times the mistake may be more subtle like a clock running backwards, or a river running upstream. Whitefloss (short: White) Spoiler: show Species: Slurpuff | Gender: Female | Obtained: Friend Safari Type: Fairy | Ability: Unburden | Nature: Jolly Evolution Line: Swirlix -(Trade holding Whipped Dream)-> Slurpuff Level: 34 | Bond: 30 | Pokeball: Safari ball | Held Item: Contest Stats: Cute: 30, Beautiful: 30, Tough: 30, Smart: 30, Cool: 30 Boutique Modifications: Moves: Level Up: Aromatherapy, Cotton Spore, Draining Kiss, Endeavour, Fairy Wind, Fake Tears, Play Nice, Round, Sweet Scent, Tackle Advanced Move: - TM/HM/CM Moves: Chocolate Bomb, Chocolate Magic, Flamethrower, Gummi Bomb (Ground), Substitute Surf, Thunderbolt MT/Egg Moves: Covet, Heal Bell, Magic Coat, Sticky Web Yawn Roles: Support, Communication, Olfactory & Gustation, Tracker, Lock-Down Bio: Floss was caught during the Friend Safari Event. While there, Lucas had mocked her after her fur got stuck on a tree. Lucas helped her free but was met with an angered Swirlix. The two battled of which the end result was that the Swirlix got stuck on the same tree again. But instead of knocking it out, Lucas apologised to the Pokémon and Floss promptly joined their team, making it Lucas' very first capture. Floss is a very happy and energetic Pokémon who gets along well with others. She has a preference for licking people to find out what they taste like and sometimes covers others in her chocolate attacks to sweeten them up. She has an unfortunate habit of getting her sticky coat stuck on rough surfaces, often requiring help to be removed. Floss’s style of battle is similar to that of Wattson or Faust in that it relies on slowing down an opponent. The only difference is that Floss relies more on actual attacks, (usually food based). Because of this, Floss is often used both inside and outside of battle when distance from opponents is required or the opponent’s speed becomes an issue. Since her evolution though, Floss has been grouped along with Blackbeard and Greycoat as one of the support Pokémon. In her case, her sensitive nose makes her excellent as a tracker in the field, and a chef in the kitchen. She is haughty, disapproving and has a general superior attitude to everyone else. Despite this though, she is effective at what she does; which is taking care of Lucas’ base when he is not around, and ensuring the household chores are done timely and properly, by everyone. Mrs. Khan is the top leader of the base and the one the Pokémon have to answer to if Lucas isn’t around. While having never been used for battle before, Mrs. Khan has established herself as a decent combatant. She has a low tolerance for intruders and will protect the base by engaging in battle when needed, hitting them hard with her fists or ladles until she can toss them out. Her only weakness appears to be the young Joey she carries with her, whom she does not appear to let out of her pouch at any time. Hood

Though always present amongst the rest of his party, he doesn't talk with most of them that often. As a Bellsprout, his movements were fast but wonky as he had trouble balancing his head with each step, to the point that it seems exaggerated. After his evolution, Hood became more confined to one spot and didn’t shift around as much. He usually hangs quietly from a tree branch, waiting for prey or intruders. Despite his quiet and sedentary lifestyle, he has a Rash temperament and quick-to-anger persona. He often shoots on sight single-mindedly, making him a perfect candidate as base defence (when others aren’t around). He’s great friend with Ford the Forretress with whom he can often be found together, despite the two’s opposing personalities. Ford Spoiler: show Species: Forretress | Gender: Male | Obtained: Trade with Missingo. Master Type: Bug / Steel | Ability: Sturdy | Nature: Relaxed Evolution Line: Pineco -(Level 31)-> Forretress Level: 56 | Bond: 24 | Pokeball: Pokeball | Held Item: Contest Stats: Cute: 0, Beautiful: 0, Tough: 0, Smart: 0, Cool: 0 Boutique Modifications: Moves: Level Up: Autotomize, Bide, Bug Bite, Double-Edge, Explosion, Gyro Ball, Heavy Slam, Iron Defense, Magnet Rise, Mirror Shot, Natural Gift, Payback, Protect, Rapid Spin, Self-Destruct, Spikes, Tackle, Take Down, Toxic Spikes, Zap Cannon Advanced Move: - TM/HM/CM Moves: - MT/Egg Moves: Counter, Drill Run, Pain Split, Sand Tomb, Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes Roles: Base Guard, Trapper Bio: Ford is the second of Lucas’ base defences who is, similarly to Hood, almost never taken on adventures. The Forretress has little trouble with this as he also doesn’t enjoy moving around too much. Ford can be seen almost as an opposite to Hood in that he is calmer when intruders enter the base. This can almost be translated to certain type of sluggishness, especially when considering that the Forretress slurs a lot of his speech. His other contrast to Hood is his role as base defence. Whereas Hood quickly attacks intruders, Ford builds up the defences to impede the opponent by laying down traps. Even though he and Hood can be considered opposites, the two are best friends and get along fantastically and can often be found hanging from the same tree branch.
