Light Screen and Reflect + Recovery moves

There's a bit of contradiction here; Reflect is listed on the site as being one use per pokemon only but Light Screen is not. Is this intentional, or have I missed it in the announcements thread?

Also, I've always had it reffed for me that Rest is one use per pokemon only but this isn't on the site either; is rest multi use?

Theres an announcement on SPPf regarding Rest and other sleep moves.

As for Reflect, It's complete different from Light Screen. In ASB, Barrier much closer to being a Physical counterpart to Light Screen than Reflect.

Reflect works WAY differently than in the games, as it outright blocks an attack, any attack. Light Screen can be broken, therefor, it has no limit aside from type energy.

If you're looking for the ASB equivalent of Reflect, Barrier is your move.

Rest is one per Pokemon, but does not count towards the one recovery move per battle clause. This info is in the announcements thread on SPPf. I recommend reading through that whole thread as a lot of rules not on the site are on there.

EDIT: Beaten.

I'll be honest, I read it months ago but I'll go refresh my memory.

So Reflect is not the quivalent of Light Screen.... that's going to confuse me for the rest of my life. Thanks guys

Reread Reflect.

Reflect (Wall) (PS) -- The user sets up a faintly golden wall directly in front of them. It does not break, but instead just blocks one attack before disappearing. It will also reflect beam attacks away, as would a mirror a ray of light, although the reflected attack is always weaker than the original. The Reflect wall stays in one place, no matter where the user faces or moves. Attacks that come from the side or behind can get to the opponent, the user must face the attack for the Reflect shield to block it. The shield will only stay up for one round, not carrying over to the next. Only one use of Reflect (either form) can be used per Pokmon per battle.

Protect is the "more energy consuming, 2 move combo version that does the exact same thing" version of Dome Reflect.

Except that Dome Reflect only absorbs 50% of the attack.

The non-2 mover, but equally as energy-consuming attack you are looking for is the ASB version of Safeguard.
