Regarding other battle formats.

So we got the ever standard single battles and doubles as well, but I wonder if 4 trainer 2 on 2 team battles or even battle royales have ever been considered yet? They're present in the game, why not implement them on here? Think of the fun. Discuss.

Graveler

More than two trainers in a battle? Been there, done that, it failed.

I recall seeing an instance of that, but the problem is that referees are mostly unwilling to ref double matches. It gets worse when you need to coordinate four trainers. More so due to the fact that if one decides to happily TA indefinitely it botches the whole thing, and eventually even the excited lose motivation and abandon ship.

As a participant in said 2 person vs. 2 person match I can say that it will never work.

exhibition matches are banned, apparently, too.

I participated in three of the four or so of those attempted.

They were a total mess and difficult to coordinate so don't expect them to happen ever again.

It doesn't seem like the feat itself is impossible to accompish.... in theory. It seems however that it fails in practice because people fail.
