Squad Summary
Spoiler: show
Fire Types:

Ancalagon, Male Charizard, Level 5
Ancalagon is the oldest member of Alto's team, having been with him since day one. A battle hardened veteran, he is an honorable yet brutal combatant. His ambition is to become strong, and he is incredibly focused on achieving victory. Ancalagon likes to keep things simple and sticks to what he's good at; slashing the hell out of things. The one he strives to beat is Elivagar, both his squadmate and his eternal rival. Determined to trump the cool-headed Blastoise, Ancalagon has developed a new technique.
Hidden Power: Water
Special Attack: Devouring Slash (Grass)
Ancalagon lashes out with a claw coated in Grass-typed energy, dealing considerable damage for considerable energy. Ancalagon regains an amount of health equal to half of the damage dealt. This move counts as a 'draining move' and contributes towards diminishing returns. When the user uses a draining move, the next draining move it uses will replenish 10% less health for the same energy cost. Ancalagon is able to use this move twice per battle.

Abigor, Male Houndoom, Level 4

Abigor bears the name of the Grand Duke of Hell, granted to him for his prowess in combat and in commanding his legion. He is extremely sadistic, and takes great delight in seeing his foes suffer maximally before they perish. To accomplish these ends, he has trained extensively to learn new, cruel ways to inflict his naturally potent burns on those that oppose him in battle.
Hidden Power: Ice
Special Training: Perpetual Burn
Abigor is now able to use Scald, Acid Spray, and Lava Plume, with enough Water energy to fuel two uses of Scald, but in turn is no longer able to use Secret Power, Double Edge, Foul Play, or Facade. Additionally, due to being accustomed to fighting in high temperatures, his Scald does not lose potency in intense heat.

Nyx, Shiny Female Vulpix, Level 4
When Nyx was very young, she heard the many tales of the Summer fey in the neighboring forest; tales of the war on Winter, joy and sorrow, triumph and betrayal. Those of the Court were said to manipulate their foes to tear themselves apart, not having to lift a finger to accomplish their own wildest dreams. Blessed with both haunting beauty and unnatural grace, they would firmly rule with the softest caress and the gentlest smile. These ideas very much appealed to Nyx, who made it her life's ambition to join, and someday, lead the Summer Court. Through tempered dedication and constant training, she eventually attained a seat, and now walks among the fey.
Hidden Power: Electric
Type Change: Queen of the Summer Court
Nyx is now a Fire/Fairy typed Pokemon with all the associated Weaknesses and resistances. She is resistant, but not immune, to Dragon. Additionally, she gains the characteristics of the Fairy type. In her training to join the Summer Court, she has gained the ability to use Play Rough, Disarming Voice, and Dazzling Gleam, but has lost the will to use Payback, Psyshock, Disable, and Round.

Xíngzhě, Male Chimchar, Level 4

Trained extensively by a legendary Bhuddist monk, Xíngzhě has spent countless hours honing his martial prowess with the desire to master both himself and the battlefield. While being naturally proficient in using many devastating attacks, he realized that sometimes, a brute force approach simply wouldn't get the job done. To remedy this shortcoming in his abilities, Xíngzhě developed a new technique, making use of his extensive physical power.
Hidden Power: Grass
Special Attack: Empty Strike (Fighting)
Using decent energy, Xíngzhě delivers a high-velocity punch to the air directly in front of him, compressing it and firing it forward as a rapidly-moving "beam". The thin outer shell of this beam is intensely pressurized, while the inside of the beam is a near-vacuum. Upon being struck by this beam, the target will become heavily disoriented, and will experience nausea, severely disrupting concentration and likely disrupting attacks and actions, especially those requiring extensive movement. These conditions will be most severe immediately following being hit, and will persist through the course of a round. Although this move may be used more than once against the same foe, its effects will be less severe for repeated uses.

Seika, Female Litwick, Level 3
Originally owned by a raving mad exorcist, Seika was used almost exclusively to combat the demons lurking in the shadows. Although he succumbed to his own insanity, Seika traveled on, continuing to purge the world of malicious spirits. Trained from birth to utilize holy fire, she now burns far hotter than others of her kind, and has a bit of protection against other ghosts.
Hidden Power: Water
Special Training: Celestial Flame
Seika loses her natural weaknesses to both Ghost and Water, but also loses her natural resistances to both Fire and Poison.

Deimos, Male Growlithe, Level 4
For one of his species, Deimos is remarkably cold, earning begrudging respect from his teammate Abigor for his sheer ruthlessness in combat. A true terror on the battlefield, Deimos has more than one way to make the blood of his enemies run cold, utilizing his unique training in the Siberian wastelands to the fullest.
Hidden Power: Water
Special Training: Arctic
Deimos is considered familiar with the Ice type, and uses all Ice-typed attacks as if he were an Ice type. He has learned the moves Ice Beam, Icicle Crash, and Powder Snow, but has forgotten how to use the moves Outrage, Iron Tail, Bulldoze, Double-Kick, and Wild Charge. Additionally, due to being accustomed to fighting in high temperatures, his Ice-typed moves do not lose potency in intense heat.

Regular Squad:

Elivagar, Male Wartortle, Level 4
Elivagar is another old member of Alto's squad, although unlike his rival Ancalagon, he is much more laid-back and cool-headed. It doesn't make him any less of a trooper though; after his loss in battle to Kuno's Articuno, he underwent a three year training trip in the frozen wastelands to prepare for the day he would challenge the legendary bird once more. Constant training against the enviornment and the locals led to him mastering the cold to a degree he never believed possible.
Hidden Power: Grass
Special Training: Frost Monarch
Elivagar is now familiar with the Ice type, and uses all Ice-typed attacks as if he were an Ice type. He has gained access to the moves Powder Snow and Icicle Crash, but has lost the moves Iron Tail, Focus Punch, and Dragon Tail.

-Squad (36/36)-
Spoiler: show
~ The Study Group ~
Spoiler: show
Ugo: Level 3 Male Sigilyph (Uplevel)
Sigilyph (Psychic/Flying): Sigilyph don't actually fly. They levitate by default, with a higher flight ceiling and greater speed and agility than most levitating Pokémon. Sigilyph do not take damage from any weather conditions or as a result of any statuses inflicted.
Bio: Ugo is possessed by an ancient Djinn that represents intellect... well, possessed would imply that he's taken over his body. In actuality they share the form after Ugo managed to have an internal conversation with the Djinn. The Djinn desired knowledge, and Ugo ficured that any knowledge he looked up would be stored in the deepest parts of his mind. Ugo promised the Djinn that he would find information at the Midnight Study whenever he could, in return for full control of his body. They came to an agreement, and Ugo now remains in control of his body whilst the Djinn resides deep in his mind. The two are actually incredibly close, so it would seem. Whether it is for selfish reasons or not, protecting Ugo is his main priority, and the Djinn will guard Ugo using his own energy source if he is called upon.
Hidden Power:Ground
Special Move: 'Djinn Guard' (PS)
Spoiler: show
Ugo uses Heavy Psychic energy and calls upon a great Djinn to release his power. Some giant arms appear created out of energy, and take a guard stance in front of Ugo, shielding him from up to one attack within his field of view. As the energy dissipates, it returns some of the energy blocked back to Ugo, leaving him with a 10% boost to both of his defenses. Standard boost stipulations apply. This may be used twice per match.

Carmack: Level 2 Male Kadabra
Kadabra (Psychic): Kadabra emit special alpha waves as a by-product of their psychic abilities. These waves induce headaches and will disrupt the concentration of Pokémon within five feet of Kadabra. They are more resistant (but not completely immune) to sleep-inducing attacks. Kadabra can see in the dark.
Bio: Carmack is an interesting soul. He has a love for all things natural, and will go out of his way to do good deeds for nature. Such feats include returning fallen chicks to their nests, and rescuing ants from said birds, among other things. He defends what is natural and orderly, and pokemon battles have no place in that order. However, he will fight for me, as we have developed a special bond of trust between eachother. In an attempt to lessen the amount of fighting, he has started work on a defensive technique that will help him in lessening the pain in pokemon battles.
Hidden Power: Fire
Special Move: 'Erase' (PS)
Spoiler: show
Carmack propels a wave of Psychic energy forwards in a conical shape. The psychic energy dismantles energy on a molecular level, making energy based attacks effectively disappear. When an attack is dismantled, the energy dissipates into the air around Carmack, causing his next attack to require slightly less energy to use. Due to the complicated nature of this attack, it will work on dark attacks regardless of it being Psychic energy, although his next attack will not yield the same benefit of reduced energy cost. The energy usage of this attack is usually considerable, however when this attack is used against something that exceeds considerable energy to create, it will match the energy usage. It will also be more strenuous on Carmack, exhausting him more depending on the level of energy used for the attack. This attack can be used twice per match. He also loses the use of Protect and Barrier.

Zun: Level 2 Male Espeon
Espeon (Psychic): Members of the Eevee line have sensitive hearing, at the expense of being more vulnerable to sound-based status techniques like Supersonic. Their Baton Pass and Helping Hand attacks take slightly less time and energy to perform compared to other Pokémon. An Espeon's fur is sensitive to the movements of the wind caused by the movements of an opponent, so it has a slightly higher chance of evading any attack from an opponent, and is very difficult to surprise. Their Future Sight attack costs slightly less energy to use compared to other Pokémon.
Bio: Zun has exceptional clairvoyance skills. So exceptional in fact, that his skills exceed most other Psychic attacks and he wields it as a powerful weapon in battle.
Hidden Power: Fighting
Special Trait: 'Soothsayer'
Spoiler: show
Along with it's normal form, Zun's Future Sight can also be used as a more powerful, FC form, with a little extra charge time. This high power form of Future Sight deals Major damage for Major energy, although he can only use this form of Future Sight once per battle and it takes approximately a round longer to strike (2-4 rounds). The normal form is ordered as MC Future Sight, whilst the more powerful form is ordered as FC Future Sight.

Keira: Level 2 Female Smoochum
Smoochum (Ice/Psychic): A Smoochum's kiss attacks are more effective. In the dark, they feel using its lips, and any Pokémon they feel with their lips has a 10% chance of paralysis or confusion. All baby Pokémon's techniques that are based on cuteness (such as Charm, Attract, Sweet Kiss, etc) are slightly more effective. Smoochum come in both genders. They can see in the dark.
Bio: Keira, as her evolutionary line would dictate, is a hopeless romantic. Everything she does has some sort of connotation about love, or at least she works around it that way. She loves to tease her opponents in battle, and she uses her kissing ability almost like a weapon of it's own.
Hidden Power: Fighting
Special Trait: 'Shut up or I'll smooch you!'
Spoiler: show
Keira can use all of her offensive physical moves using her lips as well as the way they would normally function. If a move is used in this way, it will not retain any secondary effects from the moves description that would affect the foe.

Meeka: Level 2 Male Inkay
Inkay (Dark/Psychic): Inkay are able to bioluminesce, allowing them to light up a dark area for an extended period of time by using a move. It costs no energy to maintain this light. Their light-based attacks are slightly more potent than normal. They also can maintain their accuracy regardless of their orientation. They can levitate, moving through small, thrusting motions, much like an aquatic squid which makes them agile but not particularly fast. They are also fairly able swimmers and can stay underwater as long as any Water type. They can expel ink as a defense, using little energy but at the cost of a move, which can be used to blind opponents.
Bio: Meeka loves to mess with people and pokemon. He loves to play tricks on my team, messing up their orientation and making them feel unnerved, but I wasn't sure exactly what was affecting them. One time he decided to play the trick on me, and I freaked out when I thought I was going to fall off the face of the earth. He soon felt guilty and flipped me back up with his Topsy Turvy move, but it was intense. We've developed it into a powerful technique that can be used in battle.
Hidden Power: Rock
Special Move: 'Flip Flop' (DK)
Spoiler: show
Meeka uses good energy to send out a strange wave of light at the foe, making them think that they're upside down and inflicting them with confusion. This attack also increases the opponents special defense by 10% for a 5 round duration. This attack is less likely to work on opponents with clear minds, and moves such as Focus Energy and Calm Mind will clear the confusion as well as the boost. Meeka can use this move twice per match.

Ronda: Level 2 Female Meditite
Meditite (Fighting/Psychic): Meditite meditates constantly and therefore have a very sharp mind. This makes them resistant to mind-altering statuses. Their Meditate and Calm Mind are slightly more effective and their default stance causes them to hover a foot above the ground when using these moves. Meditite can see in the dark.
Bio: Ronda loves to study, despite being a powerful fighter. Her associate Psychic types all help her out as she doesn't quite posess their intellect, and she has a lot of respect for them. She's incredibly passionate about protecting them from bullies and such, and she regularly defends them against dastardly dark types, not letting anything stand in the way of her rage if anyone dares hurt them. She fights them so much that she's even picked up a few techniques from them.
Hidden Power: Fighting
Special Training: 'Dark-Type Training'
Spoiler: show
Ronda has picked up Sucker Punch, Pursuit, and a karate chopping variant of Night Slash, from her constant fighting against unruly dark types. However, she has neglected her training of Thunder Punch, Fire Punch, Ice Punch, and Signal Beam.

Alfonse: Level 2 Genderless Bronzor
Bronzor (Steel/Psychic): Brnzor levitate by default and are inorganic. They take 10% less damage from Fire moves than other Steel-types.
Bio: Alfonse is a genius. With an IQ of over 200, he's able to almost read pokemons minds simply from their facial expressions. He's a bit of a wimp with his physical attacks as he's logical enough to keep at range of his opponents at all times, but he has a lethal technique that maximises his skills with his Psychic powers.
Hidden Power: Water
Special Attack: 'Psy-Lock' (PS)
Spoiler: show
Using Considerable energy, Alfonse sends out waves of Psychic energy that strike at the opponents brain stem, giving them a headache to deal Good damage. The attack may cause inflammation in the brain much like encephalitis, and there is a 30% chance that the opponent will become heavily paralyzed. As he has learned to attack the mind rather that practising brute strength, Alfonse has forgotten Skull Bash, Rock Slide, and Gyro Ball.

~ The Rest ~
Spoiler: show
Vulcan: Level 2 Male Charmeleon
Charmeleon (Fire): Charmeleon are the fastest of their line on the ground, though not as agile as their previous stage. They are harder to scare, but are more easily angered or confused. They have flaming tails, which can be used for illumination and may burn foes if there is prolonged contact. As starter Pokémon, their Fire-type attacks are slightly more powerful when they drop below 1/3 health
Bio: I met Vulcan under strange circumstances, being owned by a metalworker who used his fire-power to forge weapons for sale. At first I was under the impression that he would simply heat the forge and assist with the general heating of weapons. However, after staying there for a few nights I soon came to realise that the metal-worker had mistreated vulcan heavily. He believed it was more efficient to make Vulcan eat purified Steel, melting it with a fire attack directly from the stomach and regurgitating it into a mould. After I found out about this, I made a pact with Vulcan; I would take him away from the corrupt metal-worker in return for his service in battle. Vulcan happily agreed, and one night I snuck out of the Metal-Workers forge, snagging Vulcan's pokeball as I left. He now fights by my side, and has taken the ability to melt metal in his gut and turned it into a deadly attack.
Hidden Power: Grass
Special Attack: 'Molten Steel' (FI/ST)
Spoiler: show
Vulcan forms up a moderate amount of steel energy and a moderate amount of fire energy in his gut, melting the metal in his gut and causing it to become liquid. He then spits it at his opponent, dealing considerable damage, with a 10% chance to burn. The metal rapidly cools, and may leave smaller pokemon feeling sluggish and heavy for a few rounds. This attack works similar to Muddy Water, with both Fire and Steel type damage being dealt (SE: Fairy, Ice, Grass and Bug types)(NVE: Electric, Dragon, Fire and Water Types). The damage from Molten Steel will never be doubly effective or doubly ineffective against a single typed pokemon. Vulcan may only use this attack twice per match as the steel in his gut is a limited reserve. Vulcan now takes neutral damage from steel typed attacks.

Jones: Level 2 Male Cubone
Cubone (Ground): A Cubone's face is covered by a skull, which it will not remove willingly. Cubone may not use its respective bone attacks if it is not holding its bone, but to compensate attacks using their bone will deal x1.1 damage due to the hardness of the weapon. Its Skull Bash attack takes slightly less energy than normal to use. Cubone can see in the dark.
Bio: Jones is a crazy cowboy. He used to tie string to his bone and lasso other pokemon, which he would often get into trouble for. I confiscated his string after a while, but he managed to find a workaround to it by creating a thread out of energy to use for his lasso. Eventually I managed to get around to him, and he now uses the tool in battle rather than on innocent bystanders and his team.
Hidden Power: Steel
Special Attack: 'Lasso' (GD)
Spoiler: show
Jones throws his bone towards his opponent, with a thread of ground energy trailing behind it. The Bone circles around the opponent, wrapping the thread around them and finishing the hit them for good damage. Finally, he yanks on the lasso, pulling lighter opponents into his immediate vicinity, and pulling heavier opponents off of their feet. Pokemon at-most 2x his weight will generally be pulled towards him, and anything higher than that will be pulled off of their feet, although it is discretionary and exceptionally heavy pokemon may resist this effect. This attack uses significant energy, and he loses the use of Blizzard and Fire Blast.

Frank: Level 2 Male Murkrow
Murkrow (Dark/Flying): Murkrow are symbols of woe amongst Pokémon and people, particularly when seen at night, so they may make opponents feel uneasy. Murkrow are quiet fliers and can easily evade detection, and are quicker and more agile than their evolutions
Bio: Frank is bad. Not the evil kinda bad but the 'You don't mess with me' kinda bad. He doesn't care what you do or say, he's just gonna laugh in your face and carry on being himself.
Hidden Power: Ice
Special Trait: 'He just doesn't care'
Spoiler: show
Frank is much less susceptible to moves that affect his mindset, such as Taunt, Swagger, Confide, etc. This doesn't affect moves that induce confusion. This becomes Franks species characteristic and he loses the part: 'Murkrow are symbols of woe amongst Pokémon and people, particularly when seen at night, so they may make opponents feel uneasy'. He also loses Double Team, and takes neutral damage from Dark types.

Reggie: Level 2 Male Elekid
Elekid (Electric): Elekid are able to recharge themselves more efficiently than other Electric types and, whenever they use only one attack in a round, they will automatically recover moderate energy at the end of the round. They are easier to anger than most Pokémon. They are resistant to moves which induce sleep or drowsiness and will recover more quickly from these conditions. All baby Pokémon's techniques that are based on cuteness (such as Charm, Attract, Sweet Kiss, etc) are slightly more effective.
Bio: I never knew what to name Reggie at first. He has a brash, cocky temperament and it gave me difficulty finding a name that fit his personality. I figured out after discovering his obsession with gangster culture. Whilst I would train my other pokemon he would watch gangster films and documentaries. He took an immediate liking to the history of the Kray twins, and after he adopted Reggie Kray's personality I decided to name him accordingly. I often catch him pretending his hand is a gun instead of training... or maybe he's actually training?
Hidden Power: Ice
Special Attack: 'Lightning Bullet' (EL)
Spoiler: show
Reggie forms up Considerable electric energy in his hand as he points it like a makeshift gun. He then fires a condensed, arrow shaped bolt at his foe, dealing considerable damage. The bullet is more condensed at the front, giving it near physical properties. This means that it will act on the opponents defense stat instead of their special defense, and will be blocked by reflect and not light screen, but will still operate off of Reggies special attack stat. Essentially this attack works similar to an electric type Psyshock.

Valiant: Level 2 Male Growlithe
Growlithe (Fire): Growlithe are extremely loyal and brave. They are more likely to follow orders of their trainers, even if they consider such orders questionable. They are also more resistant to fear-inducing effects. As dogs they are quite good diggers and deal 1.1x damage with their biting attacks. Their hearing is more sensitive than normal, at the expense of being more vulnerable to sound-based status moves, and they have an excellent sense of smell which allows them to track opponents and tell the real clone in a Double Team. Their Roar attack is slightly more effective than normal.
Bio: Valiant is hearty and proud of himself, yet doesn't show it in battle and likes to play defensively despite being a fire type. He also has a strange disorder that causes the fire energies that swirl around his stomach to burn rather than melt, and thus he has trouble digesting food. He eats a lot to compensate for this though, and can regularly be seen eating my other pokemons food out of necessity. The burning in his stomach leaves a lot of Ash behind, however, but he has managed to use this to his advantage for his defensive style.
Hidden Power: Ground
Special Move: 'Ashen Fog' (FI)
Spoiler: show
Using a significant amount of energy, Valiant forces some of the ash built up in his stomach out with a powerful cough, forming a cloud about the size of a typical smog. This fog deals no damage, but small flakes of ash in the fog can easily get into the pokemons eyes and cause temporary blindness, similar to how mud would work. If a pokemon uses an attack from within the fog, it will cost slightly more energy, as the opposing pokemon will find it difficult to breathe within it. This(obviously) doesn't affect inorganic pokemon. If left for long enough, Ashen Fog will stay present for 3 rounds but will disperse over the duration and weaken in potency every round. Valiant can use Ashen Fog twice per match.

Aurelion: Level 1 Male Dratini
Dratini (Dragon): Dratini can move equally well in the water and on the ground, but they prefer water, as they cannot fly like their higher evolutions. They have decent vision in low light environments.
Hidden Power: Steel

Brock: Level 2 Male Gurdurr
Gurdurr (Fighting): Gurdurr carry around heavy I-beam which can be used in Physical attacks involving smashing the foe. They are relatively deft with their weapon, able to nimbly wield it for attack and defense. Using it this way grants them 1.1x boost for an equivalent increase in energy use and a slight drop in movement speed speed. The beam can be dropped by Gurdurr to execute an attack under normal conditions and can be stolen from it, though it is very heavy and any thief must be fairly strong to do so.
Bio: After Anthony left the team to train, Brock stepped in as my new primary fighting type. I aquired him from a trainer that participated in Caber toss, which is a traditional Scottish athletic event in which the participant must hurl a log as far as they can. Brock regularly practiced with his trainer, using his Timber as the log to toss. I knew this trait about him had potential to turn into a strong attack, and I initiated the trade with him after some convincing. Brock reluctantly joined me at first, but grew more comfortable over time as he engaged with the rest of the squad. In time, I trained him to throw the Timber more like a Javelin than a kaber, and thus his new technique was born.
Hidden Power: Dark
Special Attack: 'Caber Toss' (ST)
Spoiler: show
Brock charges Solid Steel energy into his Timber/Gerder/Concrete and throws it at the foe horizontally, dealing Solid physical damage. Since the object he throws has more mass behind it from throwing it Horizontally, it has a strong knockback effect on it, respective of weight but still affecting most heavier foes. Brock has enough Steel energy to use this attack twice per match

Anoxic: Level 2 Male Stunky
Stunky (Poison/Dark): Stunky smell absolutely horrible. Any Pokémon within three feet of them have a 10% chance of flinching and Pokémon within a foot will experience blurred vision and a slight reduction in attack and special attack. Inorganic Pokémon and members of the Stunky line are unaffected but Pokémon with sensitive smell will be more heavily affected. They have an excellent sense of smell which allows them to track opponents and tell the real clone in a Double Team.
Bio: Anoxic smells bad as far as Stunkys go. He's been in my squad ever since I started in the PASBL, and he rejoins the squad for my third run. However, he's not incredibly social with the rest of my squad anymore due to the horrendous smell that lingers whenever he battles. He must've picked up an illness or something whilst he was away. Being a natural battler, he seeks to use whatever he can to his advantage, and he has been training himself to translate his stench into his battling style.
Hidden Power: Ice
Special Trait: 'Super Smelly Skunk' (PO)
Spoiler: show
Anoxics gaseous attacks(Smog, Poison Gas, Haze, Smokescreen) all have a 10% chance to apply a flinch much like his Species Characteristic. In return, these attacks all cost 10% more energy to execute.

Arnie: Level 2 Male Aipom
Aipom (Normal): Aipom are nimble, particularly with their tails, and are excellent climbers. They can anchor themselves to something with their tails, leaving their limbs free to do other things, though they prefer to use their tails for attacks traditionally used with the arms. They are also more likely to stop from falling if there's something within grabbing distance of their tail.
Bio: Ever since I met Arnie he's been like a baby brother to me. He enjoys being outside of his pokeball and interacting with strangers and other pokemon as he walks past them. He loves to chase and be chased, and the faster he runs, the more serious he gets. This has resulted in some accidental injuries and bruises with others on my team, but it's all in good fun.
Hidden Power: Fighting
Special Trait: 'Play Fast, Play Hard'
Spoiler: show
Aipom takes the battle more seriously the faster he goes. Thus, when he gains a speed boost, he also gains a boost to his physical attack akin to a Howl. Standard boost stipulations apply. He loses the use of Beat Up, Spite, Focus Punch and Double Edge.

Eskel: Level 2 Male Grovyle
Grovyle (Grass): Grovyle (Grass): Thanks to the small hooks on their feet, Grovyle are able to scale most vertical surfaces. Grovyle cannot be intimidated easily, and are therefore more resistant to fear-inducing attacks. Their slashing attacks are 1.1x more powerful. As starter Pokémon, their Grass-type attacks are slightly more powerful when they drop below 1/3 health.
Bio: Eskel has spent much time honing his skills as a master swordsman. His desire is to travel across the world and offer a helping hand to anyone that might need it, thinking himself as a hero of sorts. However, his family would not let him go, as he didn't understand the importance of companionship and he would be too naive to go on his own. I offered him the chance to travel the world, whilst keeping him with a team of companions. He struggles a lot against Poisons, and he managed to develop a technique using the earth to help him win his fights against them
Hidden Power: Rock
Special Attack: "Land Slash" (GD)
Spoiler: show
Eskel fuels ground energy into his arm-blades and slashes at the foe, dealing significant damage for significant energy. The ground around his blades is much like sand paper to touch, and has a 20% chance of inflicting the opponent with a friction burn in the inflicted area. Eskel can also launch the energy in the same fashion as X-Scissor, although it will lose the chance to inflict burns and only deal considerable damage for significant energy. He can use this move twice per match, and has enough type energy to do so. Eskel has forgone Leaf Storm, Focus Punch, and Double Edge.

Alfred: Level 2 Male Torkoal
Torkoal (Fire): A Torkoal's shell is tough and attacks which strike there will do reduced damage. Torkoal can retreat in to their shell using a move, protecting their body from harm. However, they are vulnerable if knocked on their backs. Smokescreens and similar moves produced by Torkoal are much more potent then normal. Torkoal are familiar with the Rock-type.
Bio: Alfred is great friends with Carmack, and they both share their love of nature. Whilst Carmack focus' more on protecting nature, Alfred on the other hand embraces the fact that pokemon battles are healthy, and has learned to use the powers of nature to aid him in battle, whilst throwing away his tectonic prowess.
Hidden Power: Rock
Special Training: 'Coverage' (GR)
Spoiler: show
Alfred is no longer familiar with the Rock type, but is now familiar with the grass type. He gains access to Seed Bomb, Energy Ball and Giga Drain, and loses the use of Fire Blast, Inferno, and Stone Edge.

Pierre: Level 1 Male Kecleon
Kecleon (Normal): Kecleon can disguise themselves like a chameleon quickly and without using energy, at the cost of a move. However, their stripe remains visible, so they can still be tracked, although it is much harder. Attacks based upon trickery are slightly more effective when used by Kecleon. Their tongue can be used to attack with physical moves quickly from a reasonable distance.
Bio: Pierre is an artisan by trade, using his attacks to create wonderful art and performances. He's struggled in recent years however, as his own tailored attack has made onlookers uneasy with their loss of vision. What is visual art if you can't see it right? He found a new home with me after I realises the potential of his art, and he now seeks to create dazzling performances in the medium of battle.
Hidden Power: Ground
Special Attack: 'Laser Eyes' (NM)
Spoiler: show
Pierre channels a considerable amount of energy and blasts a bright beam out of both his eyes, dealing moderate damage per beam with a chance to lower the foes accuracy similar to Dazzling Gleam. Pierre can control the trajectory of the beam mid-fire by moving his eyes, although it will require a light amount more energy. He loses the use of Thunder and Blizzard.

Terrence: Level 2 Male Cranidos
Cranidos (Rock): Cranidos' extremely hard and somewhat pointed skull gives them a 1.1x boost in head-based attacks. However, Cranidos are neither fast nor agile. Being fossils, their Ancient Power attack will boost slightly more often.
Hidden Power: Rock

Tsuri-Jin: Level 1 Male Chinchou
Chinchou (Water/Electric): Chinchou are fish and thus are slow and nearly immobile on land, but are faster and more agile in the water. They fight more enthusiastically when submerged and in a sizeable body of water. Whenever a Chinchou uses an electric attack in the water, it creates a small amount of electricity around it, shocking anything in the water with it within 10 feet of it (damage is considered equal to half a Thunder Shock for the most powerful electric attacks. They may also use their antenna as a light source in the same way that the Mareep family does with their tails.
Hidden Power Fire

Zustar: Level 1 Male Sentret
Sentret (Normal): Sentret, when not moving, will stand on their tails if possible, which gives them a better view of their surroundings. This also reduces the damage they take from Earthquake and similar moves, as well as reducing the damage they take from electric attacks a bit (as the electricity goes through their tail to the ground). They are also excellent at digging, able to burrow faster than most Pokémon. Their hearing is more sensitive than normal at the expense of being more vulnerable to sound-based status moves and they have an excellent sense of smell which allows them to track opponents and tell the real clone in a Double Team.
Bio: Zustar is a team player, and loves to help his friends out in battle. In single battles however, he's had to develop a different method of helping out, and what better way to help out than donate his energies!
Hidden Power: Fairy
Special Trait: 'Advanced Switching Tactics'
Spoiler: show
When using Baton Pass, Zustar can use a significant amount of one of his type energies in addition to the standard amount used for baton pass. This type energy is passed to the pokemon that is switched into battle, giving them a significant amount more type energy for the type chosen. This does not give the switched pokemon any extra energy in addition to their standard 9HB's worth, but rather gives them access to more energy of the chosen type. Zustar must have at least 2 moves of the type chosen for it to be passed to the next pokemon, and Zustar must also have at least a significant amount of the chosen type energy remaining. Once passed, Zustar may not use the chosen type energy for the remainder of the match. Baton Pass may now only be used once per battle, and Zustar loses his resistance to the ghost type.

Greazy: Level 1 Male A-Grimer
Grimer [Alola] (Poison/Dark): Alolan Grimer were imported to Alola to act as a method of disposing of unwanted trash. As a consequence, Alolan Grimer have absorbed some of the chemicals from the trash they have consumed. Their biting attacks have a 10% chance of poisoning due to the highly toxic nature of their "teeth". Grimer are made up of poisonous substances made of liquid slime. Thus, toxic or polluted chemicals heal them instead of harm them. The same is true for poison attacks. Grimer can see in the dark. They are also very flexible, and can fit through gaps that most Pokémon of their size couldn't. Their bodies absorb physical blows, and physical projectiles, making all attacks in these manners 80% effective. However, as the slime is liquidized, they take slightly more damage from electric attacks.

Gwyndolin: Level 3 Female Froslass
Froslass (Ice/Ghost): Froslass are primarily solid, though they can go ethereal or invisible for decent periods of time. Froslass's invisibility is imperfect, always leaving an icy glimmer behind, but it allows them to still hide in dark areas and ice, snow and other white or lightly colored areas. They are adept at hiding in blizzards and can see through them easily. They can also levitate. Their Double Team functions better in Hail and will not be revealed by the hailstones passing through them. They can be poisoned.
Bio: Gwyndolin is a new addition to the team, and her deceptive and cold demeanour make her a fearsome adversary on the battlefield. Nighty night, don't let the frost-bite...
Hidden Power: Ground
Special Attack: 'Sleepcicle' (IC)
Spoiler: show
Gwyndolin uses a considerable amount of Ice Energy to form a number of darts made of ice underneath her sleeves, and throws them at the foe with speed. The attack does light damage, and will induce drowsiness or full sleep, depending on the size and weight of the pokemon affected. Particularly solid bodied pokemon won't be affected by this attack, whilst squishier pokemon will take a slight amount of extra damage. This attack can be used whilst invisible. Repeated use of the attack on the same pokemon will only induce a mild drowsiness.

Maia: Level 2 Female Misdreavus
Misdreavus (Ghost): Misdreavus will usually stay in the ethereal state but can switch to solid or invisible if required. Misdreavus levitate by default but have a lower flight ceiling than most levitating Pokémon and are not particularly fast. They can be poisoned.
Bio: Maia, despite being one of the older members, is a pure trickster. She's the only one that can beat Laila in a game of hide and seek, and she's competetive with her when it comes to those games. It's practically an unfair match when she plays hide and seek, her invisibility powers are second to none.
Hidden Power: Fighting
Special Trait: 'Hide and Seek Master'
Spoiler: show
Maia can go invisible for up to 4 rounds in a single match. She may not remain invisible for longer than 2 consecutive rounds, and she expends a mild amount of energy at the end of every round she is invisible for. She also loses her resistance to Bug type attacks, and access to Inferno and Thunder.

Beatrice: Level 2 Female Swinub
Swinub (Ice/Ground): Swinub have a large amount of fur, which keeps them warm in otherwise unbearably cold temperatures and slightly reduces damage from Fire and Ice attacks. They have an excellent sense of smell which allows them to track opponents and tell the real clone in a Double Team. They are adept at hiding in blizzards and can see through them easily.
Bio: Beatrice has had a gruelling past involving water types. Having previously belonged to an incompetent trainer, who believes that Ice types had an advantage over Water types, the old trainer repeatedley forgot about her part-ground typing. Thus, she would constantly lose her battles, and the trainer assumed it was because she was weak. In his own arrogance, he left her to fend for herself, proclaiming that she's useless unless she can fight water types. Her determination to be a great fighter went unwavered though, and through rigorous training with wild water types, she has developed an interesting trait that may aid her in forthcoming battles.
Hidden Power: Grass
Special Trait: 'Hydrophobic Skin'
Spoiler: show
Beatrice's skin underneath her fur has become Hydrophobic thanks to her training. This means that instead of reduced Ice attacks as per her Species Characteristic, she instead takes reduced damage from water attacks (though she is still weak to the type). Beatrice can't use Substitute or Stealth Rock.

Elise: Level 2 Female Ariados
Ariados (Bug/Poison): Ariados may shoot strands of webbing out of both their fronts and rears. While not powerful enough to damage Pokémon, they can use it to pull themselves from place to place more quickly without it counting as a move. Ariados can climb walls and other objects with ease. Their web attacks will be more effective than usual and cost less energy. In addition, when they fall below 1/3 health, they become empowered, their STAB attacks dealing 10% extra damage.
Hidden Power: Ground

Mona: Level 2 Female Noibat
Noibat (Flying/Dragon): A Noibat's "ears" are actually sound amplifiers, allowing them to fire sound attacks at high volumes. Their ears make their sound moves slightly more potent, and allow them to be used at standard potency even when spread. They can see in the dark and have sensitive hearing, at the expense of increased vulnerability to sound based status attacks, though they are immune to confusion from Supersonic. They fight more enthusiastically at night.
Bio: Unlike most, Mona doesn't have a harsh backstory about dragons not accepting her or anything like that. She was born without her scales, making her struggle with her dragon type attacks as she went further into battles. At first I never noticed that this was the case, since she still took a great deal of damage from Dragon Types, but after noticing that she was slightly better off when faced with fairies, I put two and two together and figured out the reason. She's not sad about the fact because she's never known life any different, but she does wonder what it'd be like to be a fully fledged dragon...
Hidden Power: Steel
Special Trait: 'Scaleless' (FL)
Spoiler: show
Mona is scaleless, and thus has become a pure Flying type, with all weaknesses and resistances applied. She remains familiar with the Dragon type, loses the use of Draco Meteor and Outrage, and gains the use of Twister. She retains a weakness to the Dragon type.

Laila: Level 2 Female Spritzee
Spritzee (Fairy): Spritzee emit a pleasant scent constantly. Any Pokémon that comes within three feet of Spritzee will suffer the effects of Sweet Scent. Any moves involving gasses or scents will be more potent and will linger for a longer period of time. This effect comes with diminishing returns. Inorganic Pokémon and members of the Spritzee line are unaffected but Pokémon with sensitive smell will be more heavily affected. Spritzee levitate by default but have a low flight ceiling
Bio: Laila comes off as a fun loving, outgoing, and playful pokemon. Often times she'll initiate games like Tag or Hide and Seek with the rest of my pokemon. In reality, however, she's an egomaniac who always seeks to win at everything she does. She knows she isn't the fastest pokemon in the squad, so she's had to come up with a despicable technique to keep the rest of the team from catching her in tag. One day, I managed to catch her in the act, and realised that if I could redirect that dedication towards battling, she could become a great utility for the team.
Hidden Power: Fire
Special Move: 'Stiff Spore' (FA)
Spoiler: show
Using considerable energy, Laila launches some spore clusters, which dissipate into the air and last for the remainder of the match. Any pokemon that switches into battle will feel the effect of the spores coating their body. This makes the opposing pokemon stiff and sluggish, feeling effects akin to being chilled. It will be especially effective against Steel and Rock pokemon as it gets into the crevaces and joints of their bodies. These spores last on the pokemon for 3 rounds or until it can get them off. This can be done with excess heat such as a fire attack, or fast spinning motions such as Rapid Spin or Swords Dance. It can also be removed with Rock Polish, however it will deny the extra speed boost that it usually grants and only clear the spores. This move works like an entry hazard, meaning it can be cleared with the likes of Rapid Spin. This attack can only be used once per match.

Amygdala: Level 2 Female Zorua
Zorua (Dark): In addition to a boost to all moves that involve deception, trickery or illusions, Zorua are also able to generate complex illusions to trick their foe. When ordered, they can project an illusion of any object in his vicinity or any Pokémon in their trainer's party. They will make a Double Team-like projection that surrounds their body, taking on any visual characteristics the subject of the projection possesses. As long as the illusion is sustained, they will take on any visual characteristics it might possess, such as intimidation or cuteness. This may also be used as camouflage. The illusions act similarly to Double Team clones and will be dispersed by most attacks (including Foresight and Odor Sleuth), and while Zorua using an attack will not dispel the illusion, it may weaken their effectiveness, especially if it is ordered to perform an attack that the subject of the illusion would be unable to do (such as a Pikachu using Fire Spin). This technique costs good energy and while it can be used any number of times, it loses their effectiveness with subsequent uses.
Bio: Amygdala has full control over her own Amygdalae, as her name might suggest. She is able to recal memories at will, reliving them in her thoughts and processing dreams almost as if they were films. With such power comes a price though, as she sometimes loses control of her powers and inflicts others with a strange perceptual effect, and often causes disorientation around her. This caused her to be a burden wherever she went, and the only solace she had existed within her memories. When I ran across her, I fell under the effects, but managed to track her down as the source and caught her. I convinced her that she might be able to control her power, and with much training and hard work, she eventually gained control over this ludicrous power, now wielding it as a powerful tool in battle.
Hidden Power: Fighting
Special Move: 'Perception Warp' (DK)
Spoiler: show
Amygdala flushes out a wave of dark energy across the arena, targeting the Amygdalae of all opposing pokemon. This causes their perception of time to become warped, and when Amygdala uses an attack or moves, it will appear to happen about 1 second later for the opposing pokemon. This makes her attacks & movements less susceptible to being dodged or reacted to. This move will last for 4 rounds, and any pokemon switching into battle whilst the aura is active will suffer the same effect for the remainder of the time the aura is active. A pokemon using Amnesia, Calm Mind or Focus Energy will relieve the effects of this move somewhat. This move costs Amygdala major energy to set up, and can be used once per battle. She also loses her resistance to the Dark type.

Petunia: Level 2 Female Ivysaur
Ivysaur (Grass/Poison): Ivysaur are less agile than their previous form but are faster. They have two vines hidden beneath their bulb that they can extend to use to manipulate objects and Pokémon and attack. As starter Pokémon, their Grass-type attacks are slightly more powerful when they drop below 1/3 health.
Bio: Petunia was abandoned by her family, her other siblings being preferred by her parents. She was left to fend for herself within Ilex Forest, having to learn how to feed, fight, and learn how the world worked all off of her own back. She often took refuge with other poison types, who, suprisingly, took a liking to her and let her be so long as she brought no harm to their families. From spending so much time in the heart of the forest, she was consistently stung by various forms of pokemon and plant life. She needed to adapt, and her vines eventually began to secrete a strange substance. She was driven away from the forest after accidentally inflicting a nasty burn to one of the poison type pokemons babies when picking it up to play. Luckily, I happened to be entering the forest as she was driven out, and after nursing her back to health(with great pain I might add), she took a liking to me and my team, and decided to help me out.
Hidden Power: Ground
Special Trait: 'Stinging Nettles'
Spoiler: show
Petunia's vines are covered with a substance similar to what is found on stinging nettles, and they have an additional chance to inflict burns on their opponent if they come into contact. This chance to inflict burns increases with the amount of time spent in contact with the vines, along with the severity of the burn inflicted. Petunia now exerts 10% more energy when using attack that would utilise her vines, and she has lost her resistance to the Grass type.

Dinner: Level 1 Female Pidgey
Pidgey (Normal/Flying): Pidgey will out fly most basic stage fliers and have decent speed and agility in the air. Any wind attack used by a Pidgey is 1.1x more powerful.
Bio: Dinner's actual name is Arielle, but her teammates donned her the nickname 'Dinner' after she was consistently preyed upon by wild pokemon. She doesn't like it, but at least gets involved with the team-banter. In an effort to make her stand out as a powerhouse on the team, she attempted to develop a powerful technique.
Hidden Power
Special Trait: 'Dust Devil' (GR)
Spoiler: show
Dinner flaps her wings very fast, creating winds that develop quickly into a tight but high cyclone laced with Ground energy, travelling across the arena. The damage from it is generally significant, dealing more if the opponent is airborne when hit. The cyclone can pick up sand and loose debris, potentially dealing added damage that way, referee's discretion. Dinner loses the use of Double-Edge and Substitute.

Lumpy: Level 2 Female Igglybuff
Igglybuff (Normal/Fairy): Igglybuff are somewhat bouncy, taking slightly less damage from falls and blunt impacts, instead bouncing which could potentially be disrupting. All baby Pokémon's techniques that are based on cuteness (such as Charm, Attract, Sweet Kiss, etc) are slightly more effective.
Bio: Lumpy is grumpy but doesn't like fighting. Once she got toppled and had trouble self-righting. The foe then came in for a deadly attack, but she would have none of it, yelling 'Bounce Back!' She huffed up some air and made herself fatten, and sent her opponent straight up to Saturn. The trainer had no idea what had happened!
Hidden Power: Ground
Special Attack: 'Bounce Back' (NM)
Spoiler: show
Lumpy huffs up a gulp of air using considerable energy and puff her self up quickly, dealing considerable damage to any pokemon within melee range and knocking them back. This attack knocks back pokemon similar to how Mega Punch would, although it isn't restricted by the size of the opposing pokemon as much. She may use this move twice per match, and loses the use of Fire Blast and Wild Charge.

Chinese Food: Level 1 Female Mareanie
Mareanie (Water/Poison): Mareanie are slow moving Pokemon, preferring to walk along the bottom of the water rather than actively swim. They are able to swim, but are not very proficient, and will easily be overpowered by currents. Mareanie have particularly powerful toxins stored within their body, which allow their Poison type attacks to deal an extra 10% damage to Pokemon suffering from the Poison status. They are also rather sturdy, taking 10% less damage from physical blows.

LSD: Level 1 Female Morelull
Morelull (Grass/Fairy): Morelull gives off a constant glow which pulses hypnotically. This glow is generally fairly faint but can be intensified and used to illuminate dark areas for no energy. The light is also soothing, making them rather adept at putting foes to sleep. It's powder based attacks are more potent.

Ori: Level 2 Staryu
Staryu (Water): Staryu do not have eyes and thus cannot be affected by moves such as Confuse Ray or Flash. However, they use their psychic senses and an excellent sense of touch to detect opponents with ease. Staryu can levitate and are familiar with the Psychic type.A Staryu's core is its most vulnerable point and they will take a bit more damage if attacked there with physical moves. As starfish, they easily recover from serious injuries and will never have to stay in a Pokémon centre for longer than one battle, unless they are placed there because their core has been damaged.

Trance: Level 1 Male Drowzee

Species Characteristics: Drowzee focus on sleep-related attacks. Their Hypnosis, Dream Eater, and Nightmare attacks are more powerful than normal and will take effect more quickly.
[Psychic]: Psychic-type Pokémon are much more proficient with telekinesis than other Pokémon. Thus, they can use Psychic to move and manipulate targets with ease. Psychic type Pokémon are resistant to flinching, having higher levels of focus and concentration than other Pokémon. They are resistant to attacks which induce confusion or other mental effects. They have limited ability to read minds and are thus more adept at dodging attacks than might be expected and able to mitigate the effects of accuracy reducing attacks. This extends to GMs, where they will have a slightly better impression of Pokemon within their vicinity. Their Psychic support moves (such as Gravity and Magic Room) cost slightly less energy.

Biography: N/A

No Sig

Hidden Power: Ghost

Item: N/A

Proculco: Level 1 Male Blitzle

Species Characteristics: Blitzle are brimming with electrical energy, often releasing small amounts through their mane, causing it to flash brightly. Their mane can be illuminated for a longer period of time, allowing them to illuminate an area much like an Ampharos. Blitzle, though quite fast, are not nearly as fast as their evolution, but somewhat more agile. When using Agility, they leave a trail of sparks, which do light Electric damage to anything that walks over or stands on them. Any attack they execute with their hooves is 1.1x as powerful.
[Electric]: Electric types are resistant to paralysis inflicted by Electric-type moves, though they may be paralysed as normal by other methods. Electric types do not suffer from recoil damage when using Electric attacks in the water. They have a high degree of control over their Electric type attacks, and as such they will suffer less from attempts to redirect them.

Biography: Proculco's herd was a herd that prioritized power and speed. Rank and mating rights were determined by who could charge and trample their opponents. Even if two pokemon were the same weight, their boughts would last until one of them tired and his legs have out. Then he would get trampled over and lose. Because of this, Proculco trained and trained in the art of charging and trampling; however, because he was not the best at it, he traveled to look for pokemon that were, Rhyhorn.
While Proculco was on his journey, he stopped for a water break as he was tired from months of looking for a Rhyhorn herd. As he lowered himself and began drinking water, he instantly lost his balance and the ground shook and trembled with the force of 100 Earthquakes. Proculco somehow managed to upright himself and looked for the source. He would then see a Rhyhorn herd passing by and raced his way to the herd. He continued running with them and looked at the way they were running and noted that because they were low to the ground and that their heads were first, they did more damage when charging and were able to damage opponents slightly better than other pokemon. He would later talk to the Chief of the herd and ask for training. The Chief would eventually agree and train him in the way of charging. He would later leave the herd and return to his own with the power to charge.
Later on in his life, while Preculco was the Chief of his herd, he left on a journey to become a hunter. A hunter that specialized in Hit and Run tactics. Due to his spectacular speed and ramming ability, Proculco would overwhelm all pokemon on his hitlist with strong attacks and then darting away. This combo was done in a quick fashion that all one saw was the sparks Preculco left behind.

Signature Training: The Power to Charge!
Whenever Proculco uses a charging or ramming move, he lowers his head and body; thus, he accelerates faster. Because of this, these types of moves do 1.2x and require 10% more energy; however, due to his journey, Preculco's hoofs got battered and he lost his SC hoove damage. To add on to this, charging and ramming moves tire out Proculco more. As a result of his body being accustomed to charging recklessly, he can no longer use, Signal Beam Magnet Rise, Bounce, Double Team and Screech. In addition to this, Proculco's special attacks are 10% weaker.

Hidden Power: Ice

Item: N/A

Snipe: Level 1 Male Riolu

Species Characteristics: Riolu have an underdeveloped ability to sense aura. This gives them a vague idea of the opponent's whereabouts, making them more likely to hit a foe when unable to see it. All baby Pokémon's techniques that are based on cuteness (such as Charm, Attract, Sweet Kiss, etc) are slightly more effective.
[Fighting]: Fighting-type Pokémon train extensively, more than any other Pokémon type, giving them greater endurance and readiness than other Pokémon and allowing them to push themselves harder for longer. They are more accurate with their physical blows and more adept at blocking and countering physical attacks, able to do this against most physical assaults. Being physically powerful, they can lift much more than normal Pokémon, though this does not grant them an attack boost. They fight more enthusiastically in urban environments but are not adversely affected by more natural surroundings.

Biography: Despite his typing, Snipe like fighting from afar. He views it as smarter and cooler. However, Snipe did not have any moves to really take advantage to his likings. Because of this, he traveled a long way to find a pokemon that was well versed in special attacks. He would later find a Nidoking and Nidoqueen training their son in the art of special attacking. Once he saw this, Snipe told the parents about his feelings toward special attacking and they nodded in agreement in everything he said. Once he asked them to teach him, they immediately agreed to it. It took years for him under the training of Nidoking and Nidoqueen along with sparring with their son for him to finally master three moves; however, this did not come without a price.

Special Training: Sniping's My Game
Snipe is now able to use Flamethrower, Ice Beam, and Thunderbolt and has enough offtype energy to use each twice. Due to training with poison types, which resist fighting type moves, Snipe lever learned Close Combat, Focus Punch, and Sky Uppercut.

Hidden Power: Dark

Item: N/A

Lacero: Level 1 Male Sneasel

Species Characteristics: Sneasel can retract or extend its claws at will. When moving and trying to be stealthy, a Sneasel will retract its claws. When attacking or moving on slippery surfaces, they will be extended. Attacks made using its claws deal 1.1x more damage than usual. Sneasel are adept at hiding itself and can move completely silently. They are also very agile and adept climbers.
[Dark]: Dark-types can see in the dark. They fight more enthusiastically at night and are more effective at hiding in dark environments than other Pokémon, though light does not adversely affect them. Their Dark type attacks will also become much more intimidating during the night, giving them a small additional chance to flinch. They are immune to the damaging effects of Psychic-type energy but may still be lifted and manipulated by telekinesis. They are slightly better at tricking opponents than other Pokémon, allowing them to plant more potent curses and to use moves like Feint Attack to greater effect.
[Ice]: Ice-type Pokémon are highly resistant to cold and fight more enthusiastically in cold environments. However, they hate hot temperatures, and will not fight as enthusiastically. If their STAB attacks have a secondary effect, they are slightly more likely to have their effects triggered. Their Ice type moves are significantly colder than those used by any other Pokemon, giving them a much greater ability to numb and slow the foe. In addition, any areas frozen by an Ice type will become sore even after the ice has been knocked loose, creating a painful area like Crush Claw does. Their chilled bodies allow them to create ice more readily than other Pokemon, significantly speeding up their Ice type attacks. Ice-types are generally sure footed and difficult to knock over, moving with ease across slippery surfaces and through strong winds and storms.

Biography: Lacero is a prideful, confident pokemon. Lacero never gave up in a fight. He's a cocky brat who thinks that he can do anything, anytime, anywhere. He never doubts himself and will never ask for help...or so he thought.
One day, he was out group of Sneasel in the forest. While in the forest, they spotted a gang of rebel Machops. The Machops spotted them aswell and started advancing. Lacero saw his friends trembling and falling to the ground wanting to run away and got pissed. He decided that he was not going to let any pokemon--legendary or common--push his friends around. He went up to the Machops and tried his best to scare them by bluffing with his normal cocky attitude. The Machops all smiled and started punching their hands. Lacero told his friends to run away and he decided to fight the Machops. He was destroyed and utterly beaten. He never gave in and the Machop continuously kicked him and punched him with all they had. He was losing consciousness fast and he eventually blacked out.
He awoke to see the machop huddled together in front of him. He tried moving and the gang saw that he was awake. He knew that his torture was going to continue and began to cry. That's when the Machop started to laugh and a Malamar came and scared the gang off. Lacero cried his eyes out and started pounding at the ground knowing how weak he was. The Malamar found him pitiful and was about to leave. Lacero begged for its training and the Malamar agreed. The Malamar taught it everything it knew about defending against fighting-types.

Special Resistance: Self-Defense
Lacero's training with Malamar dropped its fighting weakness down by one stage; thus, he is only 2x weak to fighting. Since he focused so much on defense, he is now no longer resistant to ice type moves because it's a defensive type and he was not trained on fighting defensive power.

Hidden Power: Fire

Item: N/A

Elite: Level 1 Male Starly

Species Characteristics: Starly are more effective in numbers. When battling alongside another Flying Pokémon, they gain a boost in confidence that gives them a boost in attack. They have exceptional eyesight and enhanced accuracy which is very difficult to lower.
[Normal]: Normal-type Pokémon are able to use support moves to greater effect than other Pokémon, with them being performed slightly quicker and being slightly more potent. Being beings of great balance, they benefit more from the positive effects of weather and other arena affecting moves, but will not suffer as badly from the negative effects. In the ASB, Normal-types take resisted damage from the damaging effects of Ghost-type energy.
[Flying]: Flying-type Pokémon are faster and more agile in their chosen mode of transportation than other Pokémon. Because of their skill in controlling their movement, they are more difficult to evade when using physical moves and more likely to succeed in dodging attacks. This also means that they are much harder to knock off course after gathering momentum. They are also more adept at commanding the wind, and they can use these attacks with slightly less energy than normal. Flying type Pokémon are affected normally by the damaging effects of Ground-typed energy and take neutral damage from Ground type moves in the ASB. They fight more enthusiastically in spacious arenas but are not put off by cramped conditions.

Biography: Starly are known for their exceptional eyesight and enhanced accuracy; however, Elite stands apart from the rest. His parents wanted Elite to be the best in the clan. They wanted their son to be the shining star of the clan. They forced him to undergo training that would force his eyesight to improve. They never fed him. He had to go and fight wild pokemon and beat them for their food. They never showed loved to him. They isolated him from them and forced him to become a cold-blooded fighter that showed no remorse for his opponents. They never complimented or appplauded of him. They forced him to believe that winning was a way of life--not something to be congratulated-- and that losing was never an option. These circumstances would make Elite interact with plenty of pokemon. His eyes began to change in way that were unknown to him. He wasn't forced to take notice until he was cornered.
One night, Elite was out hunting for his own food as usual and found an Ursaring with some Oran Berries. This was a common occurence for him, and he began to fight the Ursaring. This Ursaring was unlike the other Ursaring he had faced before and he quickly found himself backed against a wall. He realized that he needed to give it his all, or he would die. He began expending more energy than usual and then he saw a blue point on the Ursaring. He used Aerial Ace to dodge and strike there and the Ursaring roared in pain. He would consistenly miss the mark but when he hit the point, there was an obvious difference in pain. He would continue aiming for that point, and he eventually defeated the Ursaring. He knew his eyes were different. He knew his eyes were strong. He knew that he was powerful.

Special Training: All Seeing Eye
Elite subconsciously puts energy into his eyes and can now see the weakspots of pokemon. Due to the his natural and enahnced accuracy, he has a 25% chance of hitting that weakspot and deal 10% more damage and any defensive boosts will be disregarded. Because of the energy he puts in his eyes, he loses light energy at the end of every round.

Metus: Level 1 Male Totodile

Species Characteristics: Totodile are the slowest of the Totodile family, but the most agile. As alligator Pokémon, their biting attacks are 1.1x more powerful. However, their jaw muscles are meant for clamping down, not opening up, so most Pokémon can easily keep them shut with their own hands. In wet arenas, the air holes on their snouts allow them to stay almost completely submerged while being able to see above the surface. As starter Pokémon, their Water-type attacks are slightly more powerful when they drop below 1/3 health.
[Water]: Water-type Pokémon are generally able to hold their breath and/or breathe underwater. The time varies, from several rounds in the case of birds, mammals and reptiles to indefinitely for fish and squid like Pokémon. They are generally good swimmers, with fish excelling the most, and are better at manipulating Water for moves like Surf and Whirlpool than other Pokémon, using less energy to do so even outside of water. Their Surf and Whirlpool attacks do not lose potency when used without a water source.

Biography:Metus wants to be the strongest water-type pokemon in the world. He knows that he's weak to two types, Electric and Grass. He believed that he could become stronger by strengthening his jaws as they were already stronger than most pokemon. He practiced putting electric energy into jaws to try and paralyze his opponents and even tried using fire energy in an attempt to burn his opponents; however, he would always fail because the process just drained him too much. He decided that he would try to limit his weaknesses instead.
He tried to be like grass pokemon as they resisted electric types, but he hated them. They were too peaceful and serene for him. Metus was a pokemon that instilled fear into others and he could not stand trying to control his inner-beast and become graceful like the grass-types. He decided to take a complete 180 degree turn and hang out with some fire-types and learn some tricks in defeating the grass-types. He had a lot of fun releasing all of his water and inner-beast; however, the fire-types could not keep him in check and booted him out.
He was depressed and alone looking at the sky. Then out of nowhere, a beam of condensed dragon energy was shot down from the sky and tried running away, but was eventually caught. He found himself distorted and was in some kind of space. He cringed in pain and cried out for help. Then he was frozen and so was everything around him. He saw a figure advancing toward him and he only felt dread, sorrow, fear, and despair.
Palkia then appeared. It wasn't mad but instead remorseful. Palkia believed that no one was in the area when he shot the Spatial Rend, and expressed great remorse. Metus was extremely humbles by the legendary pokemon standing before him and apologized himself for being in the area. He told Palkia that it didn't need to apologize. The Palkia was amazed at the gratitude and asked Metus what he wanted. Metus explained his troubles and Palkia smiled. He tapped Metus on his head and transferred some of its energy into him.

Special Training: Type Change (Water/Dragon)
Metus has the extra type Dragon added to it due to reasons specified above with all of the regular characteristics, strengths, weaknesses, and resistances. He has learned the moves Dragon Rage and Dragon Rush. He is only .5x resistant to water and no longer resistant to steel. He is also still 2x weak to grass. Due to his change in type, his body forgot how to perform Thrash, Superpower, and Hydro Pump. The yellow patterns are now dark blue while the spikes are now an extremely dark red. All other colors remain the same

Hidden Power: Fire

Item: N/A

Impetus: Level 2 Male Cranidos (Uplevel)

Species Characteristics: Cranidos' extremely hard and somewhat pointed skull gives them a 1.1x boost in head-based attacks. However, Cranidos are neither fast nor agile. Being fossils, their Ancient Power attack will boost slightly more often.
[Rock]:Rock-type Pokémon generally have hard bodies, which makes them resistant to physical hits and projectiles. They are also resistant to XX attacks. This defensive ability extends to their moves, making defensive attacks like Protect and Harden cost less energy. They are difficult to burn or poison and prefer hot environments to cold ones. Most are so heavy that they will sink in water, so they stay away from deep-water sources if possible. They are adept at controlling rocks and will use less energy than other Pokémon when using Rock Tomb, Stealth Rock etc. to manipulate them.

Biography: Impetus always loved to smash heads with the other boys of his clan. Clasing heads was a battle of dominance and those who lost were labeled as weak. Impetus chose his opponents wisely; thus, he never lost. Knowing that he wasn't the strongest in the clan, Impetus never tooted his own horn but was very cocky and confident. Although he was content with being labeled as one of the strongest in the clan, he refused to stop training as he wanted to be the best of the best. He set off from the clan and into the wilderness to become the best of his species.
On his journey, he had to fend for himself. He had to kill for meat and stalk for berries. His pointed skull gave him an advantage over some predators and made catching prey an easier task; however, he still lacked power. He needed a move that would make his head feared. He was already aware of the move, Head Smash, as his parents used it all the time in the clan to fight off predators, but it was too slow and not very protective. He tried making his own special move.
Impetus started focusing rock-energy all around his body to increase his power, speed, and agility for a short amount of time. Then once completed he automatically rams himself at full speed into the opponent or object. Impetus tried this idea and failed most of the time. Half-way through, he would always run out of energy. He decided that he had to make it an all-or-nothing type of move. He started epending massive energy, so much that the energy surrounded him completely and pushed back plants, debris, and other loose objects. He then rammed into an object and gave catastrophic damage to it. He would later work on polishing this move and eventually perfected it.

Special Attack: Smash Charge (Rock)
Impetus roars and expends an extreme amount of energy, so much that brown rock energy surrounds him completely which makes him faster and more agile to perform the move but not for the round. Then Impetus charges extremely quickly at the opponent or object and crashes straight into them. The smash creates a loud medium-scale explosion on contact, sending the opponent flying a couple of meters which has a 60% to cause severe confusion. Softer pokemon will only take major damage as their bodies somewhat cushion the blow, and they will only be blown away a few meters. Due to the sheer recklessness of this move, there is a 25% chance of Impetus suffering from mild confusion from the aftermath of this

Caster: Level 2 Female Misdreavus (Uplevel)

Species Characteristics: Misdreavus will usually stay in the ethereal state but can switch to solid or invisible if required. Misdreavus levitate by default but have a lower flight ceiling than most levitating Pokémon and are not particularly fast. They can be poisoned.
[Ghost]: Ghost-type Pokémon fight more enthusiastically at night, though are not put off by fighting in the day, and can see in the dark. Ghosts are resistant to curses and curses imposed on them will last for a shorter time and be less potent. Their fear inducing attacks are more effective than those used by other Pokémon. Ghost types can be poisoned, unless stated otherwise. Ghost-types are not fully immune to Normal, Fighting or typeless attacks as in the games, taking neutral damage, but some may change their state in order to reduce damage from physical moves

Hidden Power: Fighting

Item: N/A

Iugis: Level 1 Male Drilbur

Species Characteristics: Drilbur dig like a drill using their long, pointed, shovel-like claws. They can dig quickly and easily through almost any type of ground even through some hard, typically impenetrable surfaces like concrete, though this will be more difficult and take more energy. Their tunnels are also sturdy, and, if desired, can be made so they do not collapse after being dug. Their claw based attacks deal 1.1x damage.
[Ground]: Ground-type Pokémon are considered to be immune to electricity while standing on the ground. If a Ground Pokémon is in the air, they take 0.75x the usual damage from Electric-type attacks, and will take neutral damage from Electric when wet. Ground types do not suffer from recoil damage when using Electric attacks in the water. Ground-type Pokémon are more adept at manipulating outdoor and 'natural' environments than other Pokémon and will spend less energy using Dig, Earthquake etc. This allows them to use Ground attacks on any surface, with the exception of Dig. They can also cause the ground to shake more vigorously when using Earthquake and Bulldoze.

Biography: Iugis is a hitman that specializes in hit and run tactics. He cleverly attacks and digs a series of intricate tunnels to escape. However, he always has trouble eliminating Water and other Ground-types. He would eventually train and come up with a way to deal with them.

Signature Attack: Forest Claw (GR)
Iugis channels grass type energy into his claw and jabs it into his foe. This move does significant damage for significant energy and can only be used twice.

Hidden Power: Grass

Item: N/A

Muta: Level 1 Female Maractus

Species Characteristics: Maractus have bodies filled with loose seeds and sand, causing them to make noises similar to maracas when it moves. This makes it hard to hide or move silently, but can be used as a move similarly to the rattle of a rattlesnake to intimidate or spook unsuspecting foes. Because they live in the desert, they are immune to the effects of Sandstorms and can see reasonably well in them. They fight more enthusiastically in sandy or dusty areas. Their Ingrain attack heals more health than usual, their draining attacks are more effective than normal and they gain greater benefit from both sun and rain than other Grass-types. They are covered in spikes, so those who attack them with physical attacks will take roughly 25% recoil damage (unless they are particularly hard bodied) and their Needle Arm attack is more effective than normal.
[Grass]:Grass-type Pokémon live anywhere that can support vegetation and are adept at concealing themselves in such places. They enjoy both bright sun and rain and fight more enthusiastically in the day time, though they are not put off by fighting at night. Rainstorms will heal them slightly every round the rain falls, while very bright sunlight will regenerate their energy instead. Their healing moves cost slightly less energy and their draining moves will heal them by a greater amount while suffering only half of the usual diminishing returns. They are immune to spore based techniques like Sleep Powder and are more adept at using such attacks themselves, creating denser concentrations of spores which are harder to disperse and more potent in their effects. Any attack used by Grass-types manipulating the environment is slightly more potent, and their Grass-type attacks which utilise plant foliage (such as Razor Leaf) are more efficient in natural environments.

Biography: Muta was born with a rare mutation that on the inside caused the cells in her body were very reactive to the sun and heat and caused her immense pain. Because of this, she was sheltered in whatever caves they could find in the desert she called home. One day, however, she was tired of weakness to the sun she loved and looked to somehow get rid of this pain by forcing her body to adapt to the heat. One day, when the other Maractus were at a festival, she left her cave and stood in middle of the desert taking in as much heat and sunlight as she could. This resulted in unfathomable pain and she would pass out unconscious.
The following afternoon, she didn't feel any different and found her way back to the cave. Upon return, no one recognized her and she was confused as to why. She would eventually make her way home to be almost deserted until her parents heard her voice and saw her eyes. They immediately realized it was their daughter and told the Head Maractus. The Head Maractus, however, was not surprised in the least, saying that this happens once every three centuries and that Arceus blessed this young Maractus and that she was predestined to do great things and to specialize in the art of energy draining. Her parents were ecstatic and encouraged their daughter to become the best energy drainer she could be with her new abilities. Muta would later on perfect and master her new abilities by hunting down other pokemon and draining them dry of them energy.

Type Change: (Grass/Fire)
Muta's body for the most part looks exactly the same except for the unique color change of the thorns and flower petals. The thorns are now a deep, fiery red while the flower petals are a burning, orange color. She has gained the Fire typing and has all the associated weakness and resistances (She is weak to Rock, Flying, and Poison and resistant to Electric, Fairy, Steel and Grass[double resisted]). She has learned the moves Fire Punch and Flamethrower. Muta is no longer resistant to Electric and due to the unnatural phenomenon that took place within her, she is weak to fairy (2x).

Hidden Power: Ice

Macero: Level 1 Male Anorith

Species Characteristics: Anorith are adept swimmers. Despite their weakness to water, they can swim without taking damage. As deep sea Pokémon, they can hold their breath for a long time, about as long as the average Water-type. Though still weak to Water attacks, they are somewhat less vulnerable than other Rock-types and take somewhat less damage. Their claw based moves deal 1.1x damage. They are familiar with the Water type. Being fossils, their Ancient Power attack will boost slightly more often.
[Bug]: Bug-types can see in the dark, and they have largely enhanced sight, granting them a small boost to the accuracy of their moves. Most live in warm climates, though they hate fire and dislike extreme cold. Their status inducing attacks have an extra 10% chance of inflicting statuses and the resulting statuses are slightly more potent than usual. Bug types are in general more nimble than other Pokémon, though not necessarily faster, and will quickly out maneuver opponents when using unconventional movement.
[Rock]: Rock-type Pokémon generally have hard bodies, which makes them resistant to physical hits and projectiles. They are adept at controlling rocks and will use less energy than other Pokémon when using Rock Tomb, Stealth Rock etc. to manipulate the arena.

Biography: Macero takes his hunts seriously. Everyone who he is hired to take down must go down quick, tenderized, and in pieces. He usually doesn't have trouble taking down those who he's hired to take care of, but he knows that he can never be too careful and looked to expand his arsenal of attacks.

Special Attack: Grass Stab (GR)
Coating his claw in grass energy for significant energy, Macero stabs his opponent for significant damage. Macero has enough offtype grass energy to use this move twice.
Hidden Power: Grass

Item: N/A

Obruo: Level 1 Male Axew

Species Characteristics: Axew's tusks are tough and sharp. Any attacks utilizing these tusks are granted a 1.1x boost in power.
[Dragon]: Dragon-types tend to be strong swimmers and fliers, though they are not always as agile as other Pokémon. They fight more enthusiastically in warm climates but are less enthusiastic in colder ones. They radiate warmth from their core, and are slightly more resistant to chilling effects than other Pokemon. They are naturally very powerful Pokemon and their Dragon type attacks will have a stronger knockback than normal, but will deal no extra damage because of this.

Biography: Obruo came out of his egg wanting to overwhelm everyone in his sight. This included his parents who quickly put him in his place; however, this did not stop his urge to fight and get stronger. He fought his old man countless times, but because they were literally the same species and his dad was more experienced, he could never win. Despite this, he never gave up. At one point in his life, when he became of age, he set off on a journey vowing to come back able to defeat his father and with a new trick. His parents agreed and smirking he left his family vowing to come back a strong hunter.
A few hours into his journey, he realized something critical. He did not have a clue about how to get stronger or how to gain a new
"trick" He just spouted nonsense and realized that he dug himself into a whole he could not get out of. Shaking his head in disbelief, he just sharpened what he was good at and trained for days. One day when he cut down a tree with his tusks, he saw a Heatmor single-handedly taking care of a Durant colony with a barrage of attacks. He was not only directing fire energy into his fists, but his tongue and tail as well. After the Heatmor enjoyed his meal, Obruo begged for the Heatmor to train. The wise old Heatmor saw the determination in his eyes and the potential in his abilities and agreed. The Heatmor trained the young axew and taught him everything he knew. After the training, Obruo left his teacher and went on to return home and finally defeat his father.

Signature Technique: Tusk (_____)
Thanks to the Heatmor's training, Obruo can now redirect energy into his tusks and perform moves that he would usually do with his arms such as Poison Jab, Brick Break and Night Slash. Due to the fact that this is not natural, moves performed this way are slightly less accurate and require a mild amount of more energy to perform.

Hidden Power: Steel

Item: N/A

Petr: Level 1 Male Snubbull

Species Characteristics: Snubbull are proud Pokémon and more susceptible to moves that induce anger. However, they are also resistant to fear-inducing effects. Their hearing is more sensitive than normal, at the expense of being more vulnerable to sound-based status moves, and they have an excellent sense of smell which allows them to track opponents and tell the real clone in a Double Team. Snubbull's biting attacks are 1.1x more powerful.
[Fairy]: Fairy-types are generally pure hearted and gregarious. They prefer natural environments and will fight more enthusiastically in them, but they will not be off put by urban environments. Any attack used by a Fairy-type which manipulates the environment is slightly more effective owing to the magical energies involved and attacks which boost allied Pokémon is slightly more effective at providing a buff. They are immune to the damaging effects of Dragon-typed energy.

Biography: Despite his species, Petr is very gentle and purehearted. He has tons of compassion and doesn't like being over the top unless the need arises. Usually, he would be the peacemaker in his pack and create treaties and alliances with other packs. He was the perfect example of a diplomat and never really liked fighting. However, one day, a gang of Ekans and Arbok were threatening the pack and he had no choice but to fight.
A war broke out between the gang of snakes and pack of dogs. It was fought for many years and there were many casualties. He didn't participate in the war at first only barking out orders and attmepting to end the war by making negotiations with the gangleader, a larger than normal Arbok in both height and weight. However, the Arbok only wanted war. He yearned for nothing else than complete destruction of Petr's pack. Petr had no choice but to leave the pack--not to abandon the fight, but to come back with hope.
He wandered as far as his legs could take him and collapsed. He was tired of walking and every part of his body burned. He was sore and sweaty, but he got back up. He never gave up. The image of his brethren and members dying motivated him and pushed him to move forward. He couldn't--no he wouldn't let anymore die. He would eventually stumble into the some Seismitoad. He told them of the trouble his pack was in and the desperate need for help. He needed the power to stop the Arbok and Ekans. Upon hearing his story, the Seismitoad all agreed to teach him the moves of the earth. He learned several powerful mvoes and returned back to his pack. His pack was in shambles, there were less than a third of the pack remaining. The opposing gang was strong however having lost less than a third of members. Petr then went on to teach the remaining pack members the moves he had learned, the moves of the earth. With his teachings, the war continued for two years. That's the amount of time it took for the gang of Arbok and Ekans to be wiped out. That's the amount of time it took to fight without having another causualty. That's the amount of time it took for Petr tenacity to come through. His name is Petr because his tenacity is like a rock that cannot be moved, unwavering.

Special Training: The Power of the Earth!
Due to his desperate attitude and time with the Seismitoad, he is know familiar with the ground type. Because of his long journey, he never had time to learn the moves Close Combat, Thunder, and Double-Edge. Although he is familiar with the ground type, he rushed the Seismitoad in order to return quickly. As a result, he is not efficient with ground type moves as they cost 10% more type energy.

Hidden Power: Psychic

Item: N/A

Carnage: Level 1 Male Pawniard

Species Characteristics: Pawniard's bodies have multiple sharp steel blades on them, which they can use for attack or defense. Pokémon directly attacking Pawniard risk lacerations and 25% recoil damage. Their bladed arms grant them a x1.1 boost to slashing moves, and their precise edge has a chance to leave a vulnerable spot on the stricken area.
[Steel]:Steel-type Pokémon generally have tempered bodies, meaning they take slightly reduced damage from physical attacks. Their Steel type attacks are more proficient at cutting through energy, allowing them to reduce damage while breaking through them, unlike other Pokemon. Most are so heavy that they will sink in water, so they stay away from deep-water sources if possible, though they are not bothered by water to the degree Rock-types are. Most Steel Pokémon prefer cold temperatures to hot ones. Steel-types are resistant to XX and take neutral damage from the damaging effects of Normal-type energy in the ASB, as opposed to resisted damage in the games. They are immune to the damaging effects of Poison-type energy and are difficult to poison.

Biography: Carnage is a strong battler, he excels at close combat battling and always wanted to be a hunter and close combat hunter from the day I met him. Because of this, I picked him up knowing that there was a special someone on my team that could make him improve on my team.
Once joining my team, I automatically introduced him to the team and set him up to train with Lacero, my Sneasel. Before Lacero looked to train Carnage, he assessed him. They both fought and Carnage put up quite the fight; however, he was knocked out easily by Lacero's experience and two Dynamic Punches. Lacero nodded clearly acknowledging his opponent and decided to train him in the art of self-defense. Suffering from a similar weakness in the past, a 4x weakness to Fighting, Lacero looked to relieve Carnage of the 4x weakness to fighting. This is because in Lacero's eyes, Carnage had too much potential to have a major weakness to fighting types. Lacero remembered his teachings from Malamar and taught them to Carnage. Because of Carnage's natural urge to fight however, he disregarded some critical information about dealing defense-orientated typings similar to Lacero.

Signature Training: Self-Defense
Carnage's training with Lacero resulted in Carnage's fighting weakness to drop one stage, from 4x to 2x. However, because he disregarded information about defensive typings, Carnage is no longer resistant to Ice and Rock-Type moves. To add on to this, Carnage viewed slaying Dragon-Types as his goal since they were so physically powerful and lost his resistance to Dragon-Type moves so that he could fight them on equal footing.

Hidden Power: Ground

Firestorm: Level 1 Male Magby

Species Characteristics: Because they gestate in magma, Magby can stay in lava/hot chemicals indefinitely. They are resistant to moves which induce sleep or drowsiness and will recover more quickly from these conditions. They can also see in the dark. All baby Pokémon's techniques that are based on cuteness (such as Charm, Attract, Sweet Kiss, etc) are slightly more effective.
[Fire]: Fire-types fight most enthusiastically in hot and dry conditions. They are extremely difficult to burn and most can survive in hot liquids/molten lava for an extended period of time. Fire-type Pokémon are not adversely affected by taking dips in bodies of water, so long as the time is short. Their Fire type moves will be hotter than normal, allowing them to inflict more potent burns with a greater frequency, and their Fire type moves will naturally have a somewhat wider spread without a loss in power.

Biography: Firestorm loves to make destruction. Being born inside of a volcano, all he ever knew was destroying. Everything must be singed. Everything must be burned. Everything must be destroyed. That's his motto for battling and no matter what he aims to set the arena ablaze if possible. As time passed, the volcano that he called home became more and more inactive until it finally stopped erupting. The young Firestorm left his home only looking for destruction. He traveled far, wide, above, and below. He found nothing that satified him and eventually came to the conclusion that he needed to make a move that could cause damage while singing, burning, and destroying his opponent.
He remembered various moves that he saw on his journey. Moves such as Focus Blast, Flare Blitz and Fire Blast-all moves that had good extreme potential for destruction. However out of all the moves he saw, the move that reminded him the most of his home was Draco Meteor. It destroyed everything in its path and showed no mercy. Firestorm fell in love with the move and looked to emulate it the best he could.
He began to train. He wanted to make a move as similar to Draco Meteor as possible. The move required him to spit out energy into the sky. Firestorm spit out fire as much as he could and only had a flamethrower come out of his mouth. He felt like an idiot, and he felt helpless. He tried thinking about moves he had that looked similar in process to Draco Meteor. Out of all of his moves, Sunny Day was the closest as both required a ball of energy to be shot into the sky. To make his Sunny Day more like Draco Meteor, he started experimenting with different energy levels. Through trial and error, he finally found the right energy to make it rain fire. The testing area was burned to ash as the storm of fire wrecked everything in its path.

Special Attack: Fire Tempest (Fire)
Using extreme energy, Firestorm shoots several projectiles of fire energy into the sky. The projectiles then come down in an erratic fashion. Some of the projectiles hit the opponent dealing a minimum of severe damage and a maximum of extreme damage while dealing massive on average and others scatter to destroy the field while also setting it ablaze if possible. Due to the intense heat of the projectiles, there is a 50% chance of the opposing pokemon getting burned. This move uses up his fire energy reserves and he is unable to use fire type moves for 2 rounds following the move. Due to the amount of time Firestorm used to perfect this move, he never learned Overheat, Cross Chop, and Will-O-Wisp.

Vesti: Level 1 Male Venonat

Species Characteristics: Venonat have a sort of radar vision, which allows them to see almost completely around themselves. This will also allow them an uncanny ability to determine the location of their opponent, regardless of how well hidden they are. This keen eyesight also improves their accuracy with attacks slightly.
Bug types are in general more nimble than other Pokémon, though not necessarily faster, and will quickly outmanoeuvre opponents when using unconventional movement.
[Poison]: Poison-type Pokémon are immune to poisoning. Their Poison-type attacks are slightly more likely to succeed in poisoning their targets than those used by other Pokémon and the effects will be slightly more potent. They also have an additional 10% chance to poison the target when using physical attacks with their most venomous appendages e.g. a Seviper’s tail, a Nidoking’s horn.

Biography: Vesti knows that he has a plethora of status inducing moves at his disposal; however, being the perfectionist that he is, he wanted to be able to burn his targets. Being a hunter who specialized in chemical warfare, he wanted to make his targets suffer and worked had to develop a move that would do so.

Signature Attack: Flame Powder (FI)
Vesti releases a dense, red powder that contains microscopic bacteria that burn foes on contact. These bacteria eat away at the target's flesh/body material and burns the target, including inorganics. This move cost high energy and can only be used once.

Hidden Power: Rock

Item: N/A

Ferus: Level 1 Male Rockruff

Species Characteristics:Rockruff are very loyal Pokémon. They are more likely to follow orders of their trainers, even if they consider such orders questionable. They are also quite tenacious and hard to discourage, fighting with increased enthusiasm at night, particularly when the moon is visible. Their howling attacks are more effective than normal.
[Rock]: Rock-type Pokémon generally have hard bodies, which makes them resistant to physical hits and projectiles. They are adept at controlling rocks and will use less energy than other Pokémon when using Rock Tomb, Stealth Rock etc. to manipulate the arena.

Biography: Ferus was born a wild, ferocious creature. Whatever he saw he attacked and was very easy to enrage. As he grew older and his attacks grew stronger, he became extremely dangerous and was wanted by many pokemon experts to be detained and mainly eliminated. He would eventually find this out and lived his life on the run; however, his anger and ferociousness only grew, and wherever he went, he left a trail of destruction.
As, Ferus became more and more dangerous, pokemon started to band together to discuss how to bring him down. They would eventually decide that he had to be immobilized from afar. They gathered as many haxer-type pokemon as they could and eventually ambushed Ferus with Thunder Waves, Spider Webs, and Will-O-Wisps. Ferus was completely immobilized-unable to move any part of his body fully. His anger became uncontrollable and the part of his brain that controlled survival kicked in. With just a little flick of his wrist, the Spider Webs were removed and as soon as the paralysis weakened in a certain part of his body, he destroyed all the pokemon in the vicinity.

Signature Training: Primal Survival
Whenever an opponent or opponents lower any of Ferus' stats, his physical attack stat raises by 15% (meaning attacks doing 15% more damage) for a few rounds, and standard boost stipulations apply. Due to his simple-mindedness and attacking potential, Ferus is extremely easy to anger, he refuses to use Defensive or Evasive moves if they do not add on to his attack, and his special attacks are 10% weaker. If Ferus' stats are lowered multiple times, the boost can never exceed 15%.

Back for another run at this, let's see what I can do.

24W-14L-1D
Ref Grade: C
TP: 158
KOs: 52
SP: 15

Items Owned:
Ampharosite
Cameruptite

The Squad (Currently 38 Pokemon)
Spoiler: show

Sir Veryepic: Level 4 Male Quagsire
Sir Veryepic, true to his name, is very epic. He is extremely intelligent, highly agile and always has his top hat and bow tie on, ready for battle. He spent his childhood kicking *** and taking names as a Wooper, before one day running into a herd of Bulbasaur, Ivysaur and Venusaur. He challenged the Alpha Venusaur to a duel, but of course, LOLTYPESPAM, many Solarbeams rained down on him and he was annihilated. Learning from this humiliation, he undertook a lot of training, weathering Grass-attacks day in and day out until he built up a resistance to them. He eventually redirected a river into the Saur-herd's territory and swam through it with great power before raining bombs down upon his foes, defeating them and ensuring his very epic dominance over the area.
Sig awaiting approval.
Hidden Power- Fire

Flutterby: Level 3 Female Butterfree
Flutterby is one of the main members of my team. Fighting in most battles and to her credit, yet to have a single loss. She moves with speed, grace and elegance and possesses more power than your average Butterfree.
Special Technique- ElementalPowder (Bug)
Flutterby can use a technique that has her release a special powder. The powder instantly makes the foe drowsy before they fall asleep the round after. The powder also has a 80% chance of badly poisoning and a 20% chance of paralyzing, though only one of the two at a time. The technique uses high energy.
Hidden Power- Ground

Bobblehead: Level 1 Male Exeggcute

Barry: Level 1 Male Pinsir

Charles: Level 2 Male Espeon

Crusher: Level 2 Female Sylveon

Bowie: Level 2 Male Umbreon

Dakimakura: Level 2 Female Parasect

Slash: Level 3 Male Kabutops

Rupert- Level 3 Male Whiscash
Rupert is a funny little guy. He was born to a Whiscash and a Tentacruel, so maybe it should be expected, but his whiskers are much longer than your average Barboach's. He can't help but tickle his friends, leading to him recieving many boots to the face from annoyed Pokemon.
Sig awaiting approval.

The King: Level 1 Nidoran-M
The King is perhaps the most physically imposing member of my team. His strength knows no bounds and he is well aware of it. He was found by Sir Veryepic at a young age and brought onto the squad, since joining he's learnt a massive variety of techniques and gained a strange fetish for chocolate coated things.
Sig awaiting approval.

Denshirenji: Level 2 Female Jolteon

Bouncy: Level 3 Female Wailord
Bouncy is your usual happy go lucky, feel-good type. She never lets anything get her down and always has a big smile on her face. She likes making her friends laugh, but becomes extraordinarily serious when brought into battle. She is close friends with Sombrero.
Special Technique: Hey, hey, come over here!!!
Bouncy enjoyed playing video games with her friends growing up, especially Mortal Kombat. Her favourite character was Scorpion and she learnt to imitate one of his moves. She fires a harpoon, made of water energy, which ensnares the foe and drags them to her. It is a highly annoying attack and has the ability to disrupt a foe's move. It causes mild damage when ensnaring and uses significant energy.

Tora: Level 3 Female Luxray

KazaN: Level 1 Female Numel
KazaN is a living volcano and she behaves as such. The heat she generates is ridiculous and makes most, including both her friends and foes quite uncomfortable. She is usually very docile, but if made angry, she comes close to literally exploding.
Special Training: Pure Solar Power
The air around KazaN is extraordinarily hot, lowering the effectiveness of water moves to 2x instead of their usual 3x against her. She has also gained access to Solarbeam, having enough energy for two uses per match.

Sombrero: Level 2 Male Lotad
Sombrero is a world champion dancer, winning the world championships in tango and salsa for ten years straight. He enjoys shaking it and is very coercive and able to make other pokemon join in with very little effort.
Sig awaiting approval.

Swoop: Level 3 Female Noctowl

FairyFloss: Level 3 Female Swablu
FairyFloss is possibly the gentlest member of my team. I met her at a summer festival in Okayama after she got stuck in a fairy floss machine. I helped her out and she joined my team. She and Brain are close.
Special Attack: A fairy's breath shall heal all wounds.... except yours. (Fighting)
FairyFloss is a kind and loving little thing, but she doesn't know her own strength. I've never told her that this is an attack, she just thinks that she's showing affection, poor dear. For this attack, she wraps her wings around the foe and attempts to breathe pure, loving fairy energy straight onto them, however, the pressure she feels from hugging them causes her to access her fighting-type energy pool rather than her fairy. This causes considerable fighting-type damage with a 50% chance of confusing the foe. This attack costs high fighting energy, but she has enough energy to use it twice per match.

Brain: Level 3 Male Slowpoke
Contrary to his slow name, Brain is in fact very intelligent. He passed school at the top of his class and has written his own novels, such as "Catcher in the Raichu" and Rick Gastly's hit "Never Gonna Give Mew Up".
Special Attack: Your greatest fears... (Various)
For this attack, Brain gathers about half the water needed for a surf, before infusing it with a fighting spirit using his fighting energy and manipulating it using his telekinesis. He shapes the water into the shape of something the opponent would fear most (Gyarados- a lightning bolt, Rhyperior- the actual wave itself, etc.) the fright caused will lock the foe in place in a similar manner to leer, as well as negating any protection (protect, safeguard) that they have in place (screens will be unaffected by the fright of course). Then he quickly sends it crashing down on the foe. This will cause decent water damage and good fighting type damage. It uses decent water energy, good fighting type energy and mild psychic type energy. Brain can use this once per match.

Kirin: Level 3 Female Girafarig
The youngest member of my team, though one of the strongest. She has a habit of falling over the skin of fruits that she's thrown away.
Special Training: Master of the elements (Various)
Thanks to her love of the above-mentioned fruits, Kirin has come to be able to use various techniques. She can now use Flamethrower, Ice Beam and Water Gun. She has enough energy to use each twice. However, as she does not learn these techniques naturally, they only do solid damage instead of the significant they normally do. The chance for burning/freezing is also brought down to 2.5%.

Kani: Level 3 Female Kingler
Contrary to what her species name may suggest, Kani is a very cheerful pokemon. Her pincers are extremely strong and allow her to do battle with the strongest of foes. She was once in the armed forces, where she acted as an explosives expert, defusing a bomb that was intended to destroy the Seafoam Islands.
Special Training: Bombadier
Kani has gained the ability to use Mud Bomb, Sludge Bomb and Seed Bomb; she has enough off-type to use each twice. In return, she has lost Mud Shot, Substitute, Giga Impact and Hyper Beam.

Nibbles: Level 1 Female Ekans

Pixel- Level 3 Female Porygon2
Pixel appeared in my computer one night when THO and Quackmire were using it to look at some... questionable things. She was about to be deleted by the anti-virus program but THO noticed and managed to get her out of the computer.
Signature- Pixel
Pixel is much faster moving than your usual Pokemon. Her speed on all fronts, firing moves, charging them and her movement, are all 1.5 times as fast as normal. She also takes quite a bit longer to tire than your average pokemon, taking approximately one round longer to tire out than a normal pokemon would. In return however, she is much more fragile than an average pokemon, only having 4.5 hyper beams of health as compared to the usual 6. (In 4/6, she will instead start with 2.5 HB)

Sir Turtlestein: Level 3 Male Wartortle
The good sir was the second Pokemon I caught and has been a valued member of my team ever since. In contrast to SirV`s top hat, SirT prefers a bowler hat, he says it better accentuates his ears.
Special Attack: Dirtied Water Pump (Water/Poison)
Being a highly caring Turtle, Sir Turtlestein is disgusted by the state of a lot of the worlds drinking water. He learnt to show his disgust by using an attack which is essentially a Hydro Pump fillled with poison. The disgusting qualities of the pump cause the foe to become badly poisoned. It does the high damage and uses heavy water energy in addition to mild poison energy.
Hidden Power- Ground

Cuddles: Level 1 Male Teddiursa

Kevin: Level 3 Male Loudred
Kevin is loud. Very loud. I guess it makes sense because he's a Loudred and all, but it just doesn't seem normal.
Special Attack: HELLO, MY NAME IS KEVIN!!!! (Normal)
For this attack, Kevin yells at the top of his voice "HELLO, MY NAME IS KEVIN. DO YOU WANT TO BE FRIENDS?" The volume of his voice is extremely high, causing ear splitting pain. The move does High Damage, uses major energy and has a 85% chance of confusing the opponent.
Hidden Power- Fairy

Klubba: Level 1 Male Cubone

Quackmire: Level 3 Male Psyduck
A very promiscuous duck. I met Quackmire at a Bar where he and I discussed life and women. He took home two Psyduck and a Farfetch'd that night. The next night we met again in that bar and he asked to join me on my travels, which I happily agreed to. Since he has been travelling with me, I have also discovered that he is a Trisexual.
Special Attack: Everybody loves the Quackmire. (Water)
To impress partners, he taught himself a new attack. For it, he calls back to his bartending days and he charges up a ball of water energy in front of him before shaking it violently, then aiming it at the opponent and releasing it. Due to the force it's shaken with, it goes at the foe with incredible power. It causes considerable damage and the force of the impact leaves the foe confused. The move uses high energy and can be used three times per match.

Fuwafuwa: Level 3 Female Flaaffy
Fuwafuwa and I met at a Kyary Pamyu Pamyu concert in Harajuku. Her personality is a bit out there, but she is a very strong battler. She has her own theme song too!
Signature Technique: Bolt of Poseidon (Water)
For this technique, Fuwafuwa creates a trident in front of her using her water-typed energy. This entrances the foe, who is locked into place in a similar manner to Disable before the trident begins spinning, sending lightning bolt-shaped bursts of water-energy at the foe. It causes heavy damage for heavy energy. FuwaFuwa can use this twice per match.

Seedbloom: Level 3 Male Ivysaur
Seedbloom joined me on my journeys after he was fired from his job at a florist for accidentally making the plants there noxious. To show his frustration, he became determined to show the world that mixing grass and poison can be a wonderful thing.
Special Attack- ToxicSolar (Grass/Poison)
For this attack, Seedbump uses a Solarbeam which is laced in a toxic liquid. The attack deals grass-type damage equal to Solarbeam and badly poisons the opponent. It uses grass energy equal to a solar beam with moderate poison energy on top of that.
Hidden Power- Rock

Chargrill: Level 3 Male Charmeleon
Chargrill is a trained Yakiniku chef, having worked in the top restaurant in the world for many years. He is very much in tune with his firebreathing abilities and can fine-tune temperature as he sees fit.
Special Attack: Destructive Force (Fire/Rock)
For this attack, Chargrill, well, grills the opponent. He hits the opponent with a super-heated burst of fire, pretty much a higher-powered Heat Wave which not only contains fire, but also bits of molten rock. It can either be widespread or concentrated. The move does high fire type damage and uses high fire energy, as well as moderate rock energy on top of that. It has a 45% chance of burning the foe and if the molten rock strikes them, their movement will be hindered.

Juggles: Level 1 Female Aipom

Claws: Level 3 Male Meowth
Meowth was my starter Pokemon and has been with me since I was ~5 years old. He has become a very adept fighter in all that time and his battling abilities prove it.
Special Training: Evolution, Why would I need that? (All)
Meowth enjoys his current form so much that he refuses to evolve. As such, he is considered a fully-evolved pokemon by damage standards.

PonPonTamago - Level 3 Female Togetic
PonPon was an egg that I had in my bag when I went to the Kyary concert and met Fuwafuwa. He hatched there and I named him appropriately. He has a theme song too!
Signature move: PonPonPon (Fairy)
For this move, Ponpon performs a dance that involves clapping her hands and spinning hypnotically. The movements act like a hypnosis attack, putting the foe to sleep, and the movements give her speed and special attack a solid boost (Like a Quiver Dance). This technique uses heavy energy.

Korokoro: Level 1 Shiny Female Voltorb
Korokoro is an interesting being. She was being transported on a ship as a youngster and the ship sunk. Amazingly, she didn`t drown, she instead grew accustomed to the new watery world around her. Over time her usual red faded and was replaced with a distinctive blue and she came to master many new techniques to serve her in her new home.
Sig awaiting approval.

Leekyleekyleeky: Level 3 Female Farfetch'd

Special Training: You guys have fun up there, I'm just gonna stay down here.. (Ground)
LLL has had a fear of flight for as long as I can remember. Instead, she preferred to dig around in the earth and swim through the ground. As a result, she has lost the flight capabilities usually awarded to her, instead acting like a poor man's Dodrio, leaping ~75cm at a time. She has also lost access to Fly, Brave Bird, Aerial Ace, Gust, Roost, Air Cutter and Acrobatics. In exchange, she has gained familiarity with the ground type, having access to 2HB worth of it's energy, as well as to Earthquake, Dig and Mud Bomb. As well as to Bone Club, Bone Rush and Bonemerang (These are performed by charging her leek with ground-type energy.)

Kunekune- Level 4 Male Politoed
I found Kune at a pond in the middle of nowhere. He had been alone for a long time when I found him and was overjoyed at having found a friend. He is best friends with Sir Veryepic.
Special Technique: ALL OF THE BUBBLES. (Water)
For this technique, Kune releases a massive stream of bubbles, like a bubblebeam but much faster and more solid. In fact the force is so much that it causes paralysis 100% of the time. It does heavy damage. It's practically a water type zap cannon, except it consumes more energy (Severe) as it isn't slow like Zap Cannon is.

Doof Doof: Level 1 Male Bidoof

Arenas:

The Disco Party
Spoiler: show
The Disco Party is very similar to the Disco Hall, but on a much grander scale. The floor is twice the size of the disco hall and covered in alternating colored flashing tiles. There is a lot of mist, from the smoke machines fitted into the walls at meter intervals, about a meter from the floor. In the center of the floor, there is a pool of water, 15 metres long and 3 metres wide. The pool's tiles are just like the dance floor's tiles and flash along with them. The water is so clear that some pokemon may not realise it is there and fall in by accident. There are also hot tubs in every corner of the arena, connected to the main pool by underwater tunnels. All around the walls are tables, with a variety of cocktails on them, like mojitos or bloody marys. Drinking these treats counts as a move and restores a random amount of health OR energy from good~extreme (This counts as a pokemon's one healing move) Near the north of the arena is a mixing deck, controlled by a man with a large afro. Multicolored beams of light protrude from the mixing decks cupboards. Think of the lights on the 20th century FOX logo. Pokemon are released on opposite sides of the pool 3 or so metres away from each other. The dance floor is filled with revelers, people dancing the night away. They will cheer on any battler they feel to be doing a good job, whilst heckling bad sports. If the onlookers are attacked however, they have no qualms with fighting back, doing so with pool cues, glasses and whatever else they may have.
Special rules: Artificial Lighting, Fire Sprinklers, Fog, Onlookers

Squad:
Spoiler: show

Solaire: level 3 Solrock(Uplevel)
Solrock: Solrock levitate by default and are considered to be inorganic. They are capable of generating vast amounts of heat by spinning, enough to vaporise moderate and weaker water attacks or dissipate fog, energy use equal to Fire Spin and the technique usable twice per battle. They are also familiar with the Fire type. They fight more enthusiastically in the day time and radiate a constant faint glow that is likened to sunlight. Pokémon in close proximity to them can use moves which require sunlight, regardless of location, as can Solrock themselves.
Biography: Solaire is a strange Pokemon who reveres the actual sun, and claims it as an adherant to sunlight. Despite its strange cold emotionless appearance, it is actually quite cheerful and powerful and does not let the crumbling world around it affect its mood. He has other types of weapons aside from fire at his disposal, since he acts akin to a solar electricity panel...
Signature Training - Sunlight Spear:
Solaire is now familiar with electric type. It has gained the moves Discharge, Thunderbolt, and Volt Switch. It can no longer use Rock Slide, Rock Polish, Double Team, Sandstorm, Skill Swap, Magic Coat, Fire Blast, Psyshock, or Psywave.
Hidden Power: Dark

Propagandhi: level 2 Male Natu
Natu: Natu can fly, but not fast or well, so most of their movement consists of hopping. They are capable of holding very still, which makes them harder to spot if they're hiding, particularly owing to their tiny stature. Their Future Sight attack takes slightly less energy than usual to use. Techniques that involve holding eye contact will be slightly more effective when used by Natu.
Biography: I met Natu in the forests around the Ruins of Alph, he had actually hopped right up to me, his almond shaped eyes staring intensely at me. It was then that we became friends. I am not at all for certain why it wanted to become my friend so easily, without battle, after my scraggy had been so rebellious and difficult, it was a breath of fresh air, anyways. During our travels there was a moment when I was surprised, Natu is a psychic bird, and I imagine he can see into the immediate future. Reason being, he hopped to the side urgently right before a boulder had broken off the side of the nearby cliff and crashed into the ground exactly where the Natu had been standing. Natu is a curious bird, and often has an affixed gaze which can either be endearing or unnerving.
Signature Training - Magic Bounce:
Propaghandi has a 50% chance to possibly "bounce" a non damaging attack back at the attacker without being affected by the attack. This costs a light amount of energy to maintain every round, but it won't provide exhaustion. Propaghandi can no longer use Psycho Shift, because what would be the point of this if he could just get rid of his status anyways?
Hidden Power: Fighting

NOFX: level 2 Male Scraggy(shiny)
Scraggy: The yellow portion around their lower body which resemble pants are actually a shed skin which is very thick and rubbery. This skin can be used as defense, reducing damage from attacks when pulled up over their torso. As Pokémon found around urban areas, they somewhat more resistant to Fairy attacks despite their typing.
Biography: NOFX was born into a rough gang of his kind, which hated humans. Every night the gang would sneak into the nearby city of Nimbasa in Unova, and raid the garbage cans of the city for food. One night, after the people had enough of their city being trashed, NOFX got captured in a trap and his gang left him for the humans to go back into the desert. He was scolded by the humans of the city, especially Gym Leader Elesa, who then suggested he be put to community service in the Pokemon Center. Nurse Joy was not interested in the fighting pokemon, but the Chansey took pity on him, and fed him some egg in order to cheer him up. Hating all the humans around him, NOFX bonded a little with the Chansey, and grew to soften up a little, when I arrived, he bowed to me just like the Chansey. When I learned how he ended up in the Pokemon Center, I asked if I could take him in and train him. The scraggy didn't like the idea, but Nurse Joy was glad to be rid of him. The Chansey smiled at NOFX and gave him another egg before we left, and I can't be sure, because I don't understand Pokemon speak, but I believe she told the scraggy that he should not hate me. Since then, the rebellious scraggy gave me quite a lot of trouble while training. He wouldn't listen to the things I said very often, which was frustrating to say the least. It wasn't until he watched me command my trusty Blitzle in battle against Gym Leader Falkner when he started to trust me, and grow to respect me. We grew close and together we train for him to gain more strength for the next battle!
Signature Training - It's my job to keep the Punk Rock Elite:
All of NOFX's punching attacks do 10% more damage.
Hidden Power: Flying

Minor Threat: Level 2 Porygon
Porygon: Porygon are created entirely of programming code. They levitate by default, but are not particularly fast or agile and cannot reach as high as other levitating Pokémon. They are inorganic and fight most enthusiastically in manmade environments. They are familiar with the Electric type.
Biography: Some time ago, when I was first employed by the Devon Corporation as a Computer technician, I worked under a strapping man who I didn't really get along with at first. He was bossy and I was still going through a rebellious "Screw the system" attitude phase, and it didn't look like we'd ever get along. One day we found some similar interests that quickly turned to many and we became close friends in a short amount of time, hitting it off fairly well. One day I recieved an email with an attachment, which upon opening, the anti-virus software picked up a threat, and I went in to decode the program but it turned out to be... a Porygon! It waved one of its blocky limbs at me and I, rather delighted, began the withdrawing process and materialized Porygon in the room. Porygon gave me a bit of mail and I read it and there was a heart on the letter and it was from my co-worker. Feeling fond of the Porygon just because of its origins, I decided to have it join my squad. Minor Threat was named after its origin, as a possible threat to the PC. It's rather optimistic and works very hard to train. It seems to have been modeled a bit lazily, with no bevels on the edges, it is a very sharp porygon; the verts coming to straight points at the edges. This makes holding him slightly painful or uncomfortable, but one day I'll be able to evolve him and smoothen him out a little!!
Signature Training - Straight Edge:
Minor Threat has very sharp edges, in the way he was modeled. Therefore, those who attack it with physical attacks will take roughly 25% recoil damage (unless they are particularly hard bodied). Minor Threat will also take away a light amount of energy each time it's hit with a physical attack, without contributing to fatigue.
Hidden Power: Fairy

Catch 22: level 2 male Remoraid
Remoraid: Remoraid are fish Pokémon and almost helpless on land. They fight more enthusiastically when submerged and in a sizeable body of water. They are capable of latching on to allied Mantine and firing ranged moves in flight with perfect accuracy due to their symbiotic nature. They have excellent accuracy and their attacks have a greater chance of hitting. They can see in the dark.
Biography: Catch 22 was named that because he was my twenty second catch during a fishing tournament back on Route 44 near Mahogany Town in Johto. I was fishing furiously that day, trying to get a decent catch for a prize. My twenty second and last catch of the day was a Remoraid, a rather large one. I was in awe at it before it started firing a cannonade of seriously high pressured water, it felt horrible, like I was being shot by a gun. I dropped my fishing rod and the Remoraid was looking at me angrily but I sent out Mareep and weakened it enough to capture it. I ended up coming in second place with the Remoraid(losing to the fisherman Wilson and his captured Poliwhirl).
Signature Attack - Opportunity:
Using Significant energy, Catch 22 fires a barrage of super high-pressure bullets of Fighting Energy from its mouth like a gun, which rapidly beats against the target for Significant Damage, possibly piercing the skin of softer Pokémon.
Hidden Power: Fairy

LMNOP: Level 1 Male Mareep
Mareep: A Mareep's wool is slightly charged and any Pokémon not resistant to electricity who comes into physical contact with Mareep has a 10% chance of flinching, subject to diminishing returns. Mareep have the ability to use the balls on their tails as lights. While not as powerful as a Flash attack, they light up the arena without blinding opponents or allies, and doing so takes almost no energy to maintain. It is considered one move for a Mareep to light its tail. This will, however, make it a more obvious target for Pokémon who can see in dark areas.
Bio: Coming Soon
Signature Move: Coming Soon
Hidden Power: Water

Jupiter: Level 2 Male Castform
Castform: Castform change their shape, as well as their type, depending on the weather. They will become a Water-type while it's raining, a Fire-type during a Sunny Day and an Ice-type in Hail or Snow. Castform remain Normal during "normal" weather. Their weather changing attacks are much more powerful than normal, starting almost instantly at full power, lasting twice as long as usual and being much harder to change against Castform's wishes. They fight more enthusiastically in atypical weather conditions and their attacks are faster to charge in such environments. Castform levitate by default.
Biography: Jupiter, the sixth and the largest planet in the Solar System, and it's atmosphere is literally filled with storms... Jupiter, is also the God of the sky, and thunder in ancient Roman mythology. It was a fitting name for one such as this Castform. An honorable and worthy soul of the skies, King of the gods.
Signature Technique - Weather God:
Jupiter now gains specific buffs based on the weather that he is in. Under Sunny Day, Jupiter gains a boost in speed for 10%. Under Rain Dance, Jupiter's defense and special defense are boosted by 10%. Under Hail, Jupiter gains a 10% increase to attack and Special Attack. Jupiter can no longer use Hex, Energy Ball, Sandstorm, or Double Edge.
Hidden Power: Ground

Quelana: Level 2 Female Braixen
Braixen: Braixen are amateur Psychics, slightly more adept than their previous forms at manipulating their Fire attacks. Using a move, Braixen can be ordered to draw the twig from their tail, lighting it. They can use this twig as a light source or to direct their Fire attacks, or possibly as a source for their moves (at the cost of light energy). However, if the twig is stolen or extinguished, they will be unable to direct their Fire attacks and will have to relight it using a Fire move or by lighting it with their tail again. They are familiar with the Psychic type. As starter Pokémon, their Fire-type attacks are slightly more powerful when they drop below 1/3 health.
Biography: On my way to visit my grandpa in Lillycove, I stopped by Mt. Pyre to visit an old friend of mine, who had caught up with a coven of Hex Maniacs. She had a number of many ghost pokemon and curiously enough, a braixen. The fox pokemon took a liking to me, probably because of my fennekin fox-eared hat that I always wore, and my friend decided to give me her Braixen, Quelaana, was her name. I found out that Braixen had an interesting closeness with the occult just like the Hex Maniacs. She likes to wear a black witch's hat, that can't be removed because her big ears kinda made it stuck and it doesn't have any effects on battles.
Signature Training - Hocus Pocus:
Quelana is now familiar with the Ghost type. She learned Night Shade and Hex. In return, she can never use Sunny Day, Shock wave, Grass Knot, Calm Mind, Role Play, Skill Swap or Blast Burn.
Hidden Power: Electric

Iku Masume: Level 2 Female Inkay
Inkay: Inkay are able to bioluminesce, allowing them to light up a dark area for an extended period of time by using a move.
Biography: Iku Musume was a cute inkay from Kalos I fished up during a business trip to the Pokeball factory. She held onto my fishing line until I had her right in front of my face. We stared at eachother for a few seconds, with Inkay's little mouth in a cutesey smile and then she slashed one of her tentacles at my face! Thankfully, I'd jerked backwards in time, but she caught the fishing line and my knapsack strap with her tentacle, splitting them both in two. After finding out that Inkay might be a good pokemon to try and raise, I battled her with NOFX, my trusty Scraggy, and captured her.
Signature Training - Samurai Squid:
Iku Musume can now use Leaf Blade, Sacred Sword, and Razor Shell as slashing attacks with enough respective off-type for two uses of each. She cannot use Psybeam, Hypnosis, Knock Off, Swagger, Taunt, Flatter, Confide, Superpower, Spite, Hyper Beam or Foul Play and when she evolves she wont be able to use Giga Impact.
Hidden Power: Poison

Undertaker: Level 1 Male Machop
Machop: The weakest of the Machop line, but not weak Pokémon-wise by a long shot, Machop's punch and chop based moves deal 1.1x damage. Machop can lift twice as much for a particular attack than what is normally stated. They pay for this strength with reduced dexterity and are not as accurate when using physical attacks at speed. They can see in the dark.
Biography: Coming Soon!
Signature Move: Coming soon!
Hidden Power: Dark

Fortissimo: Level 2 Male Chatot
Chatot: Chatot's sound-based attacks are more effective than normal and those that deal damage are 1.2x more powerful. Chatot can mimic the voice of a target's trainer or the call of another Pokémon on the field and are adept at throwing its voice. These skills can be used to distract and momentarily confuse foes at the cost of a move, being more effective if the foe cannot see Chatot at the time.
Biography: One of my co-workers had a hobby of breeding Pokemon for a little while and he said he had a project that he really wanted to try. Breeding a few interesting birds together, he finally came out with an adorable Chatot baby. I thought it was the very cutest, and my co-worker was more than happy to give the baby to me, but he said to wait until it got a bit bigger, since it was just a little tiny baby. The different pokemon that were involved in the project were a natu, a murkrow, and for some reason, his Larvesta(although it did not participate in the breeding, it was allowed to help raise the Chatot). Eventually, the Chatot was big enough to adopt, and I was given the adorable Chatot! Which I named Fortissimo, because he was very loud. Interestingly enough, he knew a few more moves than I'd anticipated, probably due to the breeding project.
Signature Training - Parrot conditioning:
Fortissimo has learned Bug Buzz, Snarl, and Disarming Voice. He never got the chance to learn Night Shade, Syncronoise, Uproar, Fury Attack, Mirror Move, Air Cutter, Sky Attack, Swift, or Secret Power.
Hidden Power: Fighting

Gwyndolin: level 2 Male Ralts
Ralts: Ralts's empathic abilities make them very in touch with their opponent. Attacks that deal with the opponents mental state are more effective. Teleporting also requires slightly less energy.
Biography: Gwyndolin was once the Pokemon of an elderly trainer who had died, and is the only Pokemon who still remains of that trainer. Born with an affinity of the moon, Gwyndolin's trainer mistook him for a girl and trained him as a gardevoir-to-be, even going so far as to dress him up as a female for contests. The elderly trainer passed away and Gwyndolin could be found at his tomb, mourning, a dark shadow passing over him.
Signature Type Change - Dark Sun:
Gwyndolin, who will never become a Gallade in the future, lost his psychic typing for dark when his trainer had passed away, now possessing the weaknesses and resistances associated with a Dark/Fairy type. Instead of being immune to both Psychic and Dragon, he now takes neutral damage from them. Gwyndolin still holds familiarity with psychic. He has learned to use Dark Pulse, Pursuit, and Punishment, but will never know how to use Confusion, Psychic, Future Sight, Stored Power, Dream Eater, Hypnosis, or Psyshock.
Hidden Power: Water

Johnny Socko: level 2 Male Heracross
Heracross: Heracross can fly, though they are faster than they are agile in the air. Attacks made using their horn deal 1.2x damage and they are adept at flipping over their targets. In addition, when they fall below 1/3 health, they become empowered, their STAB attacks dealing 10% extra damage. In its Mega Forme Heracross is slower, but much tougher. Although Heracross loses its flight ability and becomes somewhat less mobile, it gains a slight resistance against all attacks. Its body is specialized to shoot physical projectiles, gaining a boost in power and accuracy, allowing it to easily hit its targets from a distance. In addition, it becomes much more physically capable, able to grapple and hold opponents with much greater ease.
Biography: Johnny Socko is a friend to Poly Styrene, they both like stickin' it to the man. Johnny Socko hangs out with other fighting types and they do fighting type pokemon stuff, like hitting punching bags and wrastlin' with eachother. Johnny Socko made friends with a Hitmonchan, also, and they practice together very often.
Signature Training - Captain Punches:
Johnny Socko learned how to perform all of the Element Punches. He can now use Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch with enough energy to use them all twice in a match. Johnny Socko doesn't like the idea of using recoil moves like Take Down or Double Edge, as well as Double Team, Swords Dance, Close Combat, Megahorn, Rock Slide, or Bide in a match so he's deigned from ever using them til the end of time.
Hidden Power: Water
Attached: Heracronite

Fourth King: Level 1 Male Skrelp
Skrelp: Despite being a Water-type, Skrelp are rather mediocre swimmers and cannot move with much speed or agility in the water. Instead, they prefer to hide, able to easily camouflage themselves as rotting kelp. The poisonous fluids secreted by Skrelp are tinged with acid, making all poison attacks have a slight corrosive effect, similar to but not as potent as Acid Spray.
Biography: Fourth King was a part of a small group of Skrelp, they were leaders of their school. Unfortunately, they were seduced to evil, and their school became dark and users of the art of Lifedrain. I was able to capture one of these Skrelp and shape it up to be... at least somewhat less evil. But it has retained it's ability to use the arts of Lifedrain...
Signature Attack - Lifedrain Grab:
Fourth King rotates completely towards it's opponent, homes in and grabs the opponent with it's limbs(tail, fins, etc) dealing Heavy Poison damage for Heavy Energy. Fourth King regains an amount of health equal to half of the damage dealt. This move will undergo diminishing returns and will be 10% less effective the next time used for the same energy cost.
Hidden Power: Fighting

Velka: Level 2 Female Murkrow
Murkrow: Murkrow are symbols of woe amongst Pokémon and people, particularly when seen at night, so they may make opponents feel uneasy. Murkrow are quiet fliers and can easily evade detection, and are quicker and more agile than their evolutions.
Biography: Described as a black-haired witch and rogue deity, Velka is said to have a great range of influence even as gods are concerned. As the Goddess of Sin, it is Velka's job to define sin and mete out the punishment, though she offers absolution by means of her Pardoners.
Signature Move: Coming soon!
Hidden Power: Fire

Tarkus: Level 1 Male Chespin
Chespin: Chespin's heads are covered in a firm but flexible layer of woody material, giving them a slight boost to defense for attacks that hit their head. They also can harden their head temporarily to give a slight boost to headbutting moves. They have two vines hidden on their heads that they can extend to use to manipulate objects and Pokémon and attack. As starter Pokémon, their Grass-type attacks are slightly more powerful when they drop below 1/3 health.
Biography: Coming soon!
Signature Move: Coming soon!
Hidden Power: Electric

Artorias: level 2 male Riolu
Riolu: Riolu have an underdeveloped ability to sense aura. This gives them a vague idea of the opponent's whereabouts, making them more likely to hit a foe when unable to see it. All baby Pokémon's techniques that are based on cuteness (such as Charm, Attract, Sweet Kiss, etc) are slightly more effective.
Biography: Artorias is a warrior for the good in this world, with an unbendable will of steel and unmatched skill with fighting auras. His auras were specially good at repelling the darkness. Artorias himself ended up empowered by Dark energy against his will...
Signature Training - Abysswalker:
Artorias has become familiar with the Dark Type, learning Night Slash, Night Daze and Pursuit, but forgetting how to use Cross Chop, Bulldoze, Focus Punch, and Magnet Rise. He also will never learn Close Combat when evolving into a Lucario.
Hidden Power: Electric

Patches: level 2 Male Mightyena
Mightyena: Mightyena's fear attacks are more effective than those of other Pokémon. Mightyena have sensitive hearing, at the expense of being more vulnerable to sound-based status techniques like Supersonic. They also have excellent smell and are able to track their opponent and see which one is the real Double Team clone. They are quite good diggers and swimmers and deal 1.2x damage with their biting attacks. Their Howl attack is more potent than normal.
Biography: Coming soon!
Signature Move: Coming soon!
Hidden Power: Psychic

Poffo: level 2 Male Hawlucha(Uplevel)
Hawlucha: Though not extremely fast or proficient fliers, Hawlucha are extremely adept at aerial movement. Although they can maintain some level of flight, they prefer jumping and gliding, and can move extremely fast when launching from the ground. When executing physical moves, they can also more easily maneuver to evade counter-attacks or position themselves in an optimal place.
Biography: Poffo is pretty much THE most machismo-ridden pokemon I have ever come to know. There was a Pokemon tournament in a small urban area between some small boys who had just gotten their first pokemon, and before they could finish, this bird just flew out of freakin' nowhere, shouting "THE MADNESS, YEAH!", crushing one of their pokemon(Pretty sure it was a caterpie. That poor caterpie....)! Leaping forward, I let out NOFX who slammed his fist right into Poffo's face so I could capture him. The kids watched in wonder. I guess they'd never seen such a masterful pokemon capture before! Either way, Poffo and I became best friends, and even though he got a punch to the face as well as type differences, NOFX and Poffo became best fighting-type buddies.
Signature Attack - Diving Elbow drop:
This move works similar to Bounce, but without the paralysis chance. Poffo flies up into the air as high as possible and and executes the elbow drop by diving onto the opponent with his elbow cocked, driving it into the opponent, aiming for the shoulder, chest, or head for significant damage using the same amount of energy. If the elbow drop misses the opponent entirely, Poffo will take decent damage from the fall and his elbow will take more damage if hit for two turns.
Hidden Power: Ground

Hawkeye Gogh: level 1 Male Torchic
Torchic: Torchic constantly radiate heat. While not particularly intense, the heat can make Pokémon who dislike fire unenthusiasable in close quarters and makes them resistant to freezing. They are also familiar with the Flying type. As starter Pokémon, their Fire-type attacks are slightly more powerful when they drop below 1/3 health.
Biography: Coming soon!
Signature Move: Coming soon!
Hidden Power: Grass

Rash: level 1 Male Croagunk
Croagunk: Croagunk have sacs in their mouths that store toxins. Utilizing these stored poisons, Poison attacks from the mouth take slightly less energy. Being frogs, their powerful legs allow them to move quicker than most Pokémon in shorts bursts.
Biography: Coming Soon!
Signature Move: Coming Soon!
Hidden Power: Water

Archer the Male Cubone (Level 1)

Spoiler: show
Archer originates from the Kanto Safari Zone. Here he lived a life of relative peace watching the herds of Tauros stampede and the Nidorinos spar for the Nidorina. Often he would venture deep in to the Zone, far from Fuschia City, to the lake were the Chansey gathered to sing their chorus. When they gathered under the full moon it was to honor the coming of age of young Dratini and the selection of the first to evolve into a Dragonair.

But peace, like the ocean, has its ebbs and flows and soon came a time of turmoil. A major drought came upon the world whose source could only be traced to some far off land. Whilst unity was easily kept amongst most species, the population of Scythers would come to be divided. A young, powerful Scyther, known for the length of his blades gathered a faction against the old leadership, pitting his belief in shows of force versus the established equilibrium of recourses.

This division soon lead to war as the two sides clashed, one defending the other species while the other extorted them for food and water. Archer ultimately came to support the side of equality but never in a fighting role.

As months passed the drought grew worse as if it source had gained a new level power. Archer had come to be relied upon for his ability as scout due to the growing number of carcass now littering the one-time refuge. However even the best a hiding can be found sometime and as luck would have it Archer was discovered by the second-in-command of the insurgent faction.

The subordinate Scyther shattered his bone, threating to take his life if he did not give up all that he knew. He was stumbled upon by Arturia, the Female Scyther that I would soon come to befriend as well. Slicing the limb from the Scyther, Arturia stood in defense of the now helpless Archer. Grateful for his life, he took the now lifeless limb as the replacement for his bone and swore himself to Arturia, who in turn trained him on how to use his new armament.

Special Training: Bone of my Sword
Archer gains access to the moves Slash and X-Scissor. These moves are subject to the Cubone line's SC save for the long range version of X-Scissor. Archer has enough Bug-type energy to use X-Scissor up to three times per battle. Due to using this odd bone, Archer now has a weakness to fire (kept thru evolution) and never learned Earthquake.
