Let's try to deflect the punch with the first strike of a Dancing Blade, use the other two to hit him, then Taunt him out of toxic

Phantump Round 8: Engarde, parry

Monty starts the round off by once again going for a super tried tactic in his Dynamic Punch spam, he charges up the energy in his fist while also facing down Inigo who just doesn't seem to care what Monty has in store for him in the slightest. Using the sure-footing of a fighter, Monty starts to approach Inigo in order to lay down the confusion hax as that's the only way that this play makes any sense and Inigo seems to notice this. He doesn't quite things to go Monty's way so he charges up his signature move of Dancing Blades, Steel type energy soon coating his arms as he readies himself to parry the Hitmonchan's attack. Monty comes in, a left hook swinging into Inigo who counters with his first dose of the Dancing Blades for delivering a second dose, and finally a third dose. As Inigo goes without confusion and takes barely any damage, Monty decides to poison his foe in a really toxic way but Inigo simply taunts him out of it.

Summary:

Both sides took some damage and are in their first thirds, with Monty taking the biggest hit.
All good for two, Inigo has half steel left.

You're not gonna be able to block the entirety of a Hitmonchan's (1.2x boost to punching* moves) Dynamic Punch with a Mild power strike. Granted, the damage Inigo took is basically the equivalent of hitting someone with a feather.

Phantump Round 9: A wind can be felt

Inigo starts us off, rather boring in fact, by staring into the distance and having a moment of Future Sight, predicting when a psychic blast is going to come and hit Monty, speaking of Monty he decides to double down on double Bullet Punches and punches above his own weight, rushing his fists forwards as the punches go off in rapid fire succession due to the nature of the moves. Inigo finishes up while blasting Monty straight in the face with a massive amount of Psychic energy which shocks him right to the core, he gets straight back up like a champion before he notices something is a little different... A wind can be felt coming in the air, gdi Lady RNG.

Summary:

Inigo stays in the first third while Monty is now in the second third, Monty can go for two, Inigo wants to take things a bit lighter.

Phantump Round 10: A wind is dealt

Monty decides that he wants to take it a bit easier, not that he needs to but because of strategic thinking. Monty rushes up to Inigo who is slightly panting at this point, the Kirlia notices the Dynamic Punch coming into hit it and decides to sidestep out of the way with a burst of agility. Inigo does get slightly nicked by the attack however and stumbles to the left, losing his footing on the extremely slippery ice. Inigo soon gets back up, via the help of his psychic abilities in order to get up in a stable manner. Slightly frustrated about the embarrassing trip that he had just done, Inigo decides to build up some Fairy energy which seems to shine rather brightly, you could say it shines as brightly as the sun even. Inigo soon releases the Dazzling Gleam which smacks into Monty for some nasty, nasty damage. Monty sighs a sigh of relief, thinking it's all over before noticing a sudden shock of pain. Monty reels in the Future Sighted attack before focusing back on the battle.

Summary:

Inigo needs a breather now.

Monty is into the final third, good for two.

Phantump Round 11: Try And Dodge Bullets

Inigo hears his orders of 'try and be evasive'. so he does in fact try as hard as he can but the sheer speed of Monty's Bullet Punches mean that dodging is basically out of the question as Inigo takes the pain and reels from the impacts.

Summary:

Inigo is now into the second third, good for two.
Monty's overall energy has now dipped below the halfway mark, good for two. Steel is 2/3 gone.
