UPN PASBL: biggggg5 (c) vs. Lanturn (a)

biggggg5 (c) vs Lanturn (a)
3 vs 3
Singles
Slapstick
Switch = KO
Equiall 3
72 HR DQ
Arena: Pummelo
Pummelo: [Indoors/Outdoors] A simple arena, the Pummelo arena consists primarily of fairly easily manipulated soil, with a large circular pool situated at the center of the arena. The pool is deep enough to accomodate most Pokemon, but larger Pokemon will be unable to do more complex maneuvers. The pool is roughly as wide as it is deep. The ground of the remaining arena is rife with rocks and other such minerals, meaning attacks such as Stealth Rock work with impunity, and attacks such as Earthquake will transmit readily. The main aspect setting the Rock arena apart is the numerous boulders interspersed across the field. These will provide ample cover for most smaller Pokemon, and are open for manipulation. This includes being used to fuel attacks such as Rock Slide, as well as being able to be thrown by some stronger Pokemon. Within reason, if one of the batters mentions positioning of a rock, the battler is considered to be correct unless it contradicts a previous statement.

Down and dirty singles fuckfest let's fuckin go go

Alrighty. Sorry for the wait. Good luck Lanturn and thanks for reffing SoS

D'Vorah: Level 3 Female Galvantula
Hidden power: rock
Attached Token: Bugcatcher's Token
D'Vorah was once an evil bug lady from the realm of Outworld. She had total mastery over all sorts of insects and even survived the infamous Mortal Kombat tournament. But that was years ago. Through unexplained events, (and probably some stupid Time Travel s*** from Raiden,) she ended up in the much less dangerous form of a Galvantula but she escaped before anyone who knew her could catch her. she escaped to the wilds where she lost herself in her pokemon instincts, only remembering how she had more of a command of other bugs in a fight. I eventually caught her in a deep treck in the forest and contact with a human helped her memories resurface though she remained loyal to me.
Special Attack: Bug Bomb (Bug)
D'Vorah can use a move similar to infestation that launches a ball of bugs that burst and swarm the opponent on contact. Bug bomb uses High energy. The initial impact does Decent damage and the lingering rounds after do light damage. In addition to the annoyance the bugs will also deal small burns, as well as being harder than usual to knock or be hit off.

Elsa: Level 3 Female Marill
Hidden Power: Ground
*insert lyrics/link to Let It Go here* Anyway I doubt there is a person on this planet, except Slash, that hasn't seen Frozen. Elsa was born with special ice powers that she had to hide after one day injuring her sister with them. She was coronated as Queen of her country before accidentally revealing her powers and having to flee. Anna went to find her, love is deux ex machina, happy endings around. Many theories pop up about where the powers came from but one of them is that she is the reincarnation of an old Snow Queen from long ago. And who says she wouldn't be reincarnated again?
Special Attack: Do you wanna build a snowman? (Ice)
Elsa can use a Solid amount of ice energy to form ice around her opponent's feet (or lower extremities/body) and do decent damage. If the opponent is on the ground it will effectively freeze them to the ground. If the opponent is in the air a bit more ice will form, weighing them down and making it more difficult to fly. Elsa can no longer use Focus Punch.

Gabriel: Level 3 Male Piloswine
Hidden power: Grass
Gabriel used to be a famous comedian on the mountain where he lived. Other wild pokemon gravitated from the whole region to visit and hear his jokes. He eventually got tired of the life and tried to retire. But he kept his ability to draw other pokemon to himself. and he doesn't appreciate jokes about a gravitational pull unless he makes it himself.
Special Attack: I'm fluffy (Ice)
Gabrial can use an Ice-type version of smack down that will seem to knock the hit pokemon towards Gabrial rather than away from him. Other than that it works exactly like regular smack down but using ice energy and doing ice damage.

Mysteria: Level 4 (Uplevel) Female Sableye
Hidden Power: Poison
Attached: Sablenite
Mysteria is a real witch. That isn't necessarily a bad thing though, as she is Mawill's girlfriend and he likes her. I don't get how it works either but her sorcery makes her much more powerful and awesome. Her spells are mostly residual, they just enhanced her claw skills and sharpness. We met her at my old grade school where she was practicing her claws on the trees. Mawill fell in love immediately and made me catch her. They became good friends and eventually started dating.
Special Training: Witch Nails (Various)
Mysteria gains the moves Pursuit, X-scissor, night slash, slash, metal claw, and psycho cut. She loses punishment, quash, nightmare, dream eater, body slam, double edge, seismic toss, captivate, and attract.

Vegeta: Level 3 Male Quilladin
Hidden power: Fighting
Vegeta found me about a year after I had caught Goku. Apparently in the wild Goku and Vegeta were rivals and would spar daily. He was mad that I had taken Goku away though he kept calling him Kakarot for some reason. With a little reluctance at first from his aggression I agreed to let him come along after Goku completely decimated in a rematch, demanding that I make him stronger than Kakarot, and he became a key battler on my team.
Special Training: Saiyan Pride (Fighting)
Vegeta naturally wants to challenge ever stronger opponents. If his opponent has a type advantage over him he fights more enthusiastically and will get a 10% boost to his attack stats for the first type he is weak to and 5% for the second. example: a fire type will give a 10% boost but a fire flying till get a 15% percent boost.

Hotstuff: Level 3 Male Charmeleon *Alternate Color: Blue*
The Chosen One sounds really cliche doesn't it? Too bad. That is what he is. Once every 735 years a blue Charmander hatches from an egg in the center of Stark Mountain. It is raised by Heatran till maturity and then dumped on spear pillar by Latios. It then waits for a suitable trainer to join. I was that trainer, apparently. He is cocky and vain and thinks he is better than everyone else.
Hidden power: water
Token: Chardardite X
Special Training: Hotter Than You (Fire)
All of Hotstuff's fire moves have a +10% chance to burn, even if they had none before which also stacks with any existing burn chances. All his fire moves now cost x1.1 energy.

Amai: Male Swirlix (Level 1)
Signature Attack: Amai Wana (Sweet Trap)[FA]
Using heavy energy, Amai conjures up a ball of Fairy energy, full of pure bliss and goodness, before tossing it right at the opponent. For the following three turns, one of the opponent's stats, picked at random, will be lowered by 20%, and the opponent's whole body will be ensnared by strings with strength akin to String Shot. The ball of Fairy energy will disappear into the ground, and will rise to ensnare and debuff a Pokemon by the same amount and for the same duration every time a new Pokemon is sent in. It only works on the same Pokemon once. It can be cleared through the use of a Poison or Steel move which deals solid or more damage, aimed at the floor. Amai can only use this once.

---

Forecaster: Female Castform (Level 4)
Signature Technique: Whether if this is the Right Weather [XX]
When Forecaster changes the weather to that of Sun, Rain or Hail, she will receive a boost, different for each of the respective weathers:

Sun - Forecaster's attack and special attack are boosted by 10% for no extra energy for the duration when the sun is out
Rain - Forecaster's defense and special defense are boosted by 10% for the duration when it is raining
Hail - Forecaster will heal a mild amount of health at the end of every round

Forecaster can also cast weathers indoor, but this will take an extra light amount of energy. She has also learnt Safeguard. In exchange, she loses Sandstorm, Double-Edge and Secret Power.

Hidden Power: Electric

---

Kido: Female Kecleon (Level 4)
Special Attack: Mekakushi Code (Normal)
Using a heavy amount of energy, Kido immediately vanishes, completely camouflaging into the background as she delivers a surprise attack against her opponent, dealing considerable damage and due to the surprising nature of this attack, cannot be dodged, protected or countered. Kido's sudden disappearance will surprise the enemy, and should a physical attack be used against her, the opponent may stop mid-way due to being unable to aim. For example, if a Dynamic Punch is used against Kido, she may use this attack, which may cause the opponent to stop the punch halfway due to the surprise factor. Kido can use this twice per match.

Hidden Power: Normal

---

Menma: Female WHITE Misdreavus (Level 3)
Type Change: Ano Hana (Ghost/Fairy)
Menma has the extra type Fairy added to it due to reasons specified above. Menma has become a Ghost/Fairy type, and has gained the resistances and weaknesses of such. Her body is now a shade of white and the beads on her neck is bright pink in colour. With her new typing, she has gained the ability to use Play Rough . However, this comes at a cost, as she no longer has any Dark type moves, and loses the parts in the Ghost Species Characteristic that increases the strength of her fear-inducing attacks and her ability to fight better at night. She also loses the ability to use Destiny Bond, Perish Song and Grudge.

Hidden Power: Fighting

---

Azami: Female Cherrim (Level 2)
Type Change: Shinigami Record (Rock)
Azami has the extra type Rock added to it due to reasons specified above. Azami has now assumed the type of Grass/Rock, and has gained the resistances and weaknesses of the typing. Azami has learnt how to use Stone Edge, Rock Tomb and Smack Down. As a Rock type, Azami's Ground type energy has been increased to that of a Gigalith's, gaining Bulldoze, Earth Power and Rotollier in the process. As a result, Azami has forgotten how to use Magical Leaf, Morning Sun and Razor Leaf. Azami also has 1HB worth less of energy when completely fresh.

Hidden Power: Rock

---

Round: Male Swalot (Level 4)
Special Attack: Dark Shock (Dark)
Concentrating, Round uses a heavy amount of dark energy to send a black, dark typed Thunderbolt forward, dealing solid damage. Pokemon hit by this attack will be locked into solid form for five rounds, and if the opponent is a ghost, the Pokemon will gain the properties of an alive Pokemon (ability to be poisoned) and will lose the type's resistance to poison (Misdreavus will become neutral, but Gastly will still take resisted due to its poison typing and Pumpkaboo will take SE).

Hidden Power: Dark

...

Let's go, Forecaster.

Elsa let's go. Start off with confide and then Scald. Replace scald with rain dance if it uses any weather move other than rain dance.

They are generally good swimmers and are better at manipulating Water for moves like Surf and Whirlpool than other Pokémon. They have slightly more Ice-typed energy than other Pokémon if they naturally learn attacks of that type.
[Fairy]: Fairy-types are generally pure hearted and gregarious. They prefer natural environments and will fight more enthusiastically in them, disliking urban environments. Any attack used by a Fairy-type which manipulates the environment is slightly more effective owing to the magical energies involved and attacks which boost allied Pokémon is slightly more effective at providing a buff. They are immune to the damaging effects of Dragon-typed energy.

Their weather changing attacks are much more powerful than normal, starting almost instantly at full power, lasting twice as long as usual and being much harder to change against Castform's wishes. They fight more enthusiastically in atypical weather conditions and their attacks are faster to charge in such environments. Castform levitate by default.
[Normal]: Normal-type Pokémon generally have a bit less off-type energy than other Pokémon. Normal-types which usually have a secondary type do not suffer from this drawback unless specified. In the ASB, Normal-types take resisted damage from the damaging effects of Ghost-type energy.

Helloooooooooooooo Pummelo fans; better this place than the fucking lawn again. At least this place has a pool, and really, who can be mad about a pool? Pools are fuckin great. Either way it's bigglesworth vs. Lanturn; Marill vs. Castform and I can't help but growl at Lanturn for being lazy and not including his fucking bios. And then at big for having a Pokémon named Elsa that isn't an Ice type.

You're both sick.

SICK

Whatever, Marill and Castform. Two interesting choices. Elsa splashes down into the pool, bobbing peacefully on top of its calm surface, while Forecaster levitates menacingly around the rocks... As menacingly as a tiny raindrop with boobies can anyway. No wonder nobody uses Castform... Other than the shitty stats. Sweet offensive movepool at least. As Lanturn intends to no doubt demonstrate asap. But it's going to be a slow start, as Elsa begins by explaining her DARK SECRET; the SHEER TERROR of her ice powers. Oh no. How terrible. She's magic. She can create ice and snow at will. How terrible for her. Ohhhh noooooooooooooooooo.

As you might expect, Forecaster isn't exactly impressed; given that he also controls the weather. But hey, maybe this means she's a kindred spirit! It causes her to become slightly giddy at the thought and drop his intent to attack, as well as preventing him from concentrating on his substitute - he's wide open and Elsa capitalises, launching a jet-stream of boiling water right into the boobcloud's face! What a betrayal! She's more stung by that than the attack itself, especially as she managed to not get burned somehow. However; Elsa must answer for her crimes and for that; it's an Energy Ball right to the face; a green orb of natural power that rushes across the dusty field and detonates in the pool, blowing Elsa back and smacking her into the edge, but the Marill stays afloat and is hopefully ready to fight back next round...

Forecaster has a special attack drop and is 2/3 through her Grass. She holds a health lead but both mons are still comfortably in their first thirds. Elsa can fuel two more Scalds with her Fire energy.

Back to the match between NOTELSA (seriously not an ice type literally go fuck yourself) and BOOBRAIN (god damn it Game Freak why) in Pummelo with an impressively stupid order here; see if you can spot it. You will. Because I'll be laughing at it. As I should be. How else will you learn? POSITIVE reinforcement?!

Look if I'm going to be a running gag in ASB re: getting Joshed, I'm taking you all down with me. I'm coming for you all.

Forecaster rushed forward, ready to smush her face into Marill and she's gonna glow pink and it'll be AWESOME right? Right? Well, not only is she quickly rebuffed by Elsa who just straight up smacks the raindrop into the rim of the pool (earning an attack boost in the process), the dope smack makes her realise why this was allowed to happen and why her attack failed anyway - her sig forced her to forget Secret Power. Yes, Lanturn forgot this. Everyone point and laugh. Smooth as fuckin sandpaper.

Feeling pretty fuckin embarrassed right now, Forecaster howls into the night, creating a "mighty" windstorm. As mighty as she can with the special drop anyway. It buffets her opponent back, sure, but she stays afloat and battles through the winds as best she can (there's not exactly a lot of distance between the two now to be fair), allowing her to get in and... start splashing at Forecaster. Huh. Well whatever it is, Elsa seems to be utterly battering the shit out of the Castform right now; maybe playing a little too rough right now? Yeesh.

Both Pokémon are good for two here. Forecaster is on the verge of the second third, and both used a third of their respective offtype this round. Elsa has an attack buff.

Well, you said it, not me. Thus I am absolved of all responsibility in the matter.

Right?

The pummelling in Pummelo (ohhhh I just got it) continues today, with the frosty Marill looking to extend her lead and make her opponent (sigh) just let it go.

That's it. This is my jump the shark moment isn't it. If anyone needs me, I'll be questioning my life choices and taking a long hard look at myself in the mirror...

Oh. The match. Fuck. That first then, right. Elsa barrels across the pool at lightning speed; while covered in a seam of water from the pond; ramming into the raindrop-esque Pokémon, who is only just beginning to glow with a bright aura, alternating between cyan and neon pink. It's still a hard blow though, and even more so when the aquamouse (rabbit? I don't fucking know) whips around to smash the eponymous Castform with the buoy of her tail, sweeping her around the edge of the pool and battering her about. But that Reflect Type aura has well and truly kicked in now and significantly reduced the incoming water damage, opening up the opportunity for Castform to charge a bolt of electricity - but her aquatic opponent, not to mention pool contact, has considerably drenched her, and with her newfound electrical weakness... Well, this Thunderbolt ends up backfiring a bit, giving some nasty recoil to Forecaster, but utterly ripping Elsa apart, and even worse for the Marill, she finds herself paralysed from the shocking situation! Oh my!

Elsa is seriously paralysed, and while she's into the second third, she still holds a slight lead over Forecaster, who is just above the mid. She has 1/3 Electric left. However, both mons are looking for a bit of a rest now. Forecaster's special attack is returning to normal now and Reflect type will be in effect for four rounds.

Wait for the toxic and then use refresh to clear it and the paralysis out and then follow up with a bounce and try to drag it into the water

Look can this round ref itself? I'm still looking at myself in the mirror for last round's Frozen pun. No? Fine then...

Well, the boobraindrop ascends out of the water, shaking herself relatively dry and decides, that she might as well drop the kids off at the pool while she's here; and takes a BIG FUCKIN SHIT of toxic goop all over the aqua-fairy, dumping it into her fur and the water. But as the toxins start to seep through her pores; Elsa unlocks her chakras, sending healing chi through her body and curing herself of status ailments. Though that toxic water could cause problems if she remains there... Well, no time for that now, as she leaps out of the water and latches on to Forecaster with her tail and stubby arms as she lands on her; pulling them both back down into the poisoned water and submerging them both briefly before they bob back to the surface. No escape for the Castform it seems...

Elsa went undamaged but used a fair bit of energy and is ready for a break. Forecaster has 1/3 Poison left and is now below the midpoint.

With her opponent in the not-so-briny not-so-deep with her; it's time for Elsa to trap the Castform further and make sure there's no escape! Pulling off a breaststroke that would make Michael Phelps vomit with rage and jealousy, she laps round the pond lickety-split, causing a vortex to form at its bottom and sucking up Forecaster, who is struggling to fly out! But oh wait; problem solved! She creates a white dome around herself against which the Whirlpool breaks and allows her to quickly get into the air at the cost of some extra energy to maintain the Safeguard as she floats up. But dropping it causes her to glow white again; catching some killer rays, but no tan apparently. Forecaster must use like factor 100 considering this glow. She gains some distance, floating about a metre behind the pool rim while Elsa watches in awe, practically blinded by the glow.

Maybe not the best idea when she gets plinked by a Solar Beam though; it's only at half strength, if that from Forecaster's limited Grass pool. Dat normal buff is NOT retroactive without agreement bitches. Still, the poison damage sucks.

Elsa is now at the mid, and taking poison damage but very refreshed. Forecaster is out of grass but good for two.

Big, you might regret this.

Reflect Type mang

Shielding herself behind a pathetic cardboard cut-out that's simply a grey lump drawn to look like a pair of testicles, Forecaster is feeling cocky and confident that she can stall out her opponent. With her Reflect Type still up for another two rounds and Toxic kicking in, it's clear she intends to open up a lead through stall tactics.

Unfortunately, Elsa has other plans, marshalling the pool water into a great wave that swamps the stadium and catches both the cutout and the Castform in its wake! The copy manages to hang on thanks to the whole Reflect Type thing though, meaning that when Elsa lands on it in an attempt to drag it into the pool, it simply becomes a pathetic pulp. She's confused of course, but with her opponent exposed, she can fire off a Whirlpool. As gratifying as it would be to trap Forecaster in her domain for what would no doubt be a brutal ass-kicking, Elsa has no choice but to spew a cyclone from her belly, launching it and trapping the Castform in a 20 foot maelstrom! She's whipped around though and finding it almost impossible to maintain any sort of flight pattern...

Elsa is facing post-three tiredness, but holds a health lead. Forecaster is into the final third but hovering above the energy mid - something Elsa can no longer say.

Shoot a hyper voice at it then head to the bottom of the pool

"Safeguard out of it, then float your way away from the pool and to solid ground. If the movement part doesn't count as a move then Rain Dance."

hey I forgot about this oops

So with his Castform being whittled down, slowly but surely, Lanturn knows that he can't afford to take all this passive damage and needs to get free. Fortunately for him, Safeguard is kind of crazy and the white shield forces the whirlpool to break against it, allowing her to start floating to freedom - not that Elsa is going to just allow that to happen; screeching out a biggggg5 sound wave that knocks the raindrop flat on its face and onto the dusty floor, though she's fine to keep going for now. Elsa has vanished though, letting the pressure off to go chill at the bottom of the pool... But as Forecaster's resistances return to normal, does the Castform really have enough left to go on?

Not much has changed, but Forecaster is just about halfway through the final third. Both mons are feeling freshened.
