I have a scythe.
Death's very attached to it... funny that.

In all honesty, there's this one guy in charge of this one tournament who's sitting on his ass rather than moving it along. So who am I to point fingers? :P

So I recently posted to purchase a few things for my Secret Base. Started out by buying that skull I erroneously thought I'd bought in the first place, but then I ended up buying a few other things I'd been thinking about. I'm actually considering adding on more floors and rooms to my Secret Base- it's my eventual goal to turn it into a mansion- but at the moment, I'm not quite as set in terms of coins as I used to be. *glances at Jack*
: *Transforms into * *laughs at funny reactions of people who see what appear to be two Keiths* *turns back into due to laughing* Heh... Best 200,000 coins I ever spent right there. Anyway, since Mega Evolution doesn't seem too far off now, and also because this thread seems to be coming to something of a halt, might as well throw a new topic out there/recycle an old topic, whichever the case may be; Mega Evolution- what do you got planned? What Pokémon? And what kind of mega accessory will your Key Stone be made into? Lemme answer my own question with a few sprites I whipped up; So yeah, as you can guess, Mega Beedrill's a very high priority for me. Got a sprite set up for the stinger band the Beedrillite will be set into, as well as humpy and regular sprites of Melittin wearing the Beedrillite. And of course, my Mega Hat, and sprites of my character wearing said hat. Oh, and today's Carvanha Day, so if you got one of those, you miiiiiight want to give it gifts, lest it bite your head off. (nicknames: Jack=Ditto; Melittin=Beedrill) |

As for accessories, I'm planning on having Milo wear a scarf containing the Ampharosite, while I would have an amulet which holds the key stone. |

I have plenty of possibilities for Mega evolutions, but as far as Pokemon that could Mega evolve now I have a Banette, Steelix, and Salamence that are good for it, with more possibilities in the future to hopefully open up soon. ;)

As far as other Mega Evolutions on my team go, although Melittin is my top priority, I also hope to eventually be able to Mega Evolve Dennis, Chance, Chuck, Ruby, Joy (this one would involve Helena borrowing Keith's Key Stone, that'd be an interesting idea to work with), Dudley, and Myrtle. Helena as well, once she evolves into Banette (which is on my to-do list). Maybe Vinny- I still haven't decided if he's going to evolve into Camerupt. I mean, Mega Camerupt with that fedora would be epic win, but I don't think Vinny would be the type to pass up such a useful Ability as Simple...
Also, I really, really hope Weezing ends up getting a Mega Evolution. I would love to be able to Mega Evolve my starter. (nicknames: Melittin=Beedrill; Dennis=Venusaur; Chance=Blastoise; Chuck=Gengar; Ruby=Houndoom; Joy=Audino; Helena=Shuppet; Dudley=Shiny Slowbro; Myrtle=Banette; Vinny=Numel) |

So. Even though the Summershine Cup has only just started, some of us have been looking into what to do after that as well. Thanks to the help of MM, I've finished a Trial Run of the Battle Pike over on BMG and tried to work out some of the kinks. Sufficed to say, I think it looks promising with the new guidelines. However, before I finalise the decisions of this place I would like to ask the community one last time for their opinion.
Here's the link to the Development Thread. Any input you can give will be appreciated!

Kinda overwhelmed by the Battle Pike stuff (since I haven't followed it) but I responded (somewhat tangentially? ¬_¬; ) to the Boutique post. Mostly just wondering out loud about the future of the shops and their possible integration into (or remaining separate from, either/or) the RPed areas of the game.
Actually ... I did just think of a question for the Battle Pike. Hmm. Don't really want to edit or double post. I'll be lazy for now and put it off. (Reminder to self: the question has to do with the Frontier Brains.)

Of the ones I have, I think I'd want a Heracronite. I'm one of the few who likes the look of Mega Heracross. I'm undecided on the accessory to hold my Key Stone. |

In my tiredness last night I failed to realize that the Battle Pike discussion and the Boutique discussion were taking place in two distinct threads rather than inside of one catch-all thread. Must have been pretty out of it to not realize that. ¬_¬;
Went ahead and replied with my Q to the Battle Pike discussion. Have at!

Alright, note to self: When trying to calculate pokemon TM move costs, don't go with a calculator: use spreadsheets or something to try and make things easier.
Also note that Secret Power isn't in the CfP despite its return as a TM in ORAS. With that said, the first lump sum for one mon comes to just under 25k coins. I remember the day that bought you 3 or 4 decent TMs... EDITUM: So databases it is! Now to input 100 different TMs into the system then suss out how I'm going to do queries for mons... EDITUM2: Well, I have a TM database, but the next problem is sussing out a database for pokemon and move eligibility. EDITUM3: Ah, sod it. I have a list of TM number and prices, and that's all that matters. Seems gearing my team up with moves will be a good few hours' work... Last edited by Raves; 10-10-2015 at 05:11 PM. |
