To my knowledge there was never a ruling to the contrary. Although Conducting a Battle is basically a mess of a page, the rules on it are still current as far as I remember.

And DT, please refrain from posting in this thread unless you're asking a question. More than once you've came in and attempted to stealthily answer questions while playing it off as helpful and it's pretty much minimodding. We have this thread as LOs only for a reason and your circumventing of it is undermining its purpose and making our jobs harder. If you keep doing it, I won't hesitate to take action. This is your sole and final warning.

Numerous times, I have seen the round not end when a Pokemon faints in Doubles. I am confused as to what the ruling is. Does the round end, or does it not, when a Pokemon faints in Doubles, but the other Pokemon still have moves to execute?

We did have this discussion a while back.

Can we please trial a system where a KO automatically ends the round regardless of size or type and where a KO results in a sending out of a new Pokemon but then the orders continue in the schedule that they were? So if you ordered last and got a KO, the opponent would send out a pokemon but then you would order?

I could do a quick exhibition with someone who wanted to try it.

The round ends when a KO happens. This curbs type spam nukes.

Roost can be ended early but it may be difficult to perform.

I'm willing to test that out, I have an open exhibition slot. What about the inclusion of keeping the turn order after a KO?

I was for this when we discussed it so I'd like to see it tested.

I'd honestly be willing to toss out some SP for a match slot to get that exhib trying. I'm genuinely interested in how KOs make things work in doubles for the purposes of my Gym, so.

I'd like to give Reed System a formal crack so I could ref if needbe.

EDIT: Kush vs. Sneasel with new KO rules + Reed System in a magical corruption slot?

I could go for that but let's keep it to 3 vs 3 unless doubles. I am less opposed to Reed following Sneezey making it work pretty well.

Im starting to wake up in the middle of the night thinking about work. It's only fucking January ;;

Let's keep it on UPN. We can do Equi 1 if you really want.

It just allows us to choose to level. It makes no odds.

Is Protect formed directly around the user (As in right around them) or at a slight distance? If it's the latter, would the distance be enough to encompass a screen of the users?

It's a little ways from the user, but probably not far enough to protect the screen.

This is a scenario between Stantler and Clefairy. Clefairy was paralyzed rounds prior. Clefairy is suddenly pinned under the weight of a pokemon 9x his own. Severe Paralysis already occurred because of Discharge. I gave a very low chance for severe paralysis to settle back in. It turned out that paralysis did not settle in. That was purely a RNG roll. In the matter that Clefairy was pinned, it was the two front hooves pressing down on Clefairy and allowing him to have one hand open. Clefairy, under high distress was able to pull off his move.

Is paralysis 100% guaranteed? Link Provided for further context.

So, in a world where levelling is something that is often complained about, due to slots being much more readily available and rising up levels being too easy, I feel like we might need to make some changes to the system of leveling. Especially with several folks recently attaining significant levels without having to measure much skill, due to copious amounts of leveling matches for the ones who can manage to do it fast.

I have two proposals, the first more serious than the second.

1) Allow used Pokemon to level more than ones brought but not used, who would normally just get a single level. This could split two different ways
... a) used Pokemon (say, a Level 1 brought to an Equilevel 1, when you're TL4) fully level, jumping up to your Trainer Level. Regular levelling rules apply, a Pokemon must be used at or under their current level
... b) much like the same, but slightly toned down. 2 levels for those used, instead of just 1
Either way, as stated, though brought but not used in battle still gain one level

2) SP use to level a Pokemon levels them up to your level. Levelling with SP is seen as pretty useless, but this addition would make it more worthwhile, especially to the higher levels, those who have greater need to level.

Just for clarification. Some inorganic pokemon include the clause that they fight better in urban arenas. Others do not. Was that trait hand selected for those pokemon or do all inorganic pokemon fight with more enthusiasm in an urban environment?

I imagine it was chosen for them. Not all inorganics are from urban/man-made environments (e.g. Lunatone and Solrock).
