Oh no I imagine its very effective...if you get rid of all the priority in the tier, give Mega Pinsir freedom to reign without being outsped, and getting rid of any passive damage.

Giving Pinsir Free reign: the amount of switches Pinsir forces is pretty fucking huge. Venu, Amoonguss, Heracross, Medicham, and anything slower can be subbed on. Mew and Bro are set up fodder because Sub blocks the incoming status and +2 Flail OHKOes everything. And even if they switch in something faster, you literally spam substitute untill you have a 200 BP Flail. By then you have a free kill against that and whatever he switch in May be (at least at +2) Passive damage: Tyranitar and Ferrothorn are the only forms of passive damage that actually hurt Pinsir. My team has two fighting types as well as Diggersby to take care of Tyranitar. Magnezone is trapped by Ferro. I've literally been hoarding replays of SubFlail Pinsir beating shit. It's unexpected and most teams can't really handle it without smart play. Not even rocks help. |

So hopping back to balanced Hackmons for a post or two. A friend suggested to me what is basically Simple Cotton Guard Umbreon whixh Baton Passes to Eviolite Doublade. So, how thick of a wall are we talking there?

Didn't Red Card work with Substitute before or was I imagining things?
Pelipper is really pretty sweet. Scarfrost, the best revenge killer in PU.

I used a Heliolisk in VGC for a while and I found that its attack power was a little underwhelming but it's speed was pretty solid.

So I should go Timid then to take advantage of the Speed?
I have no idea yet, all I've decided is that I'm using Parabolic Charge and pairing him with lanturn in rain

Well, Timid should always be used if you aren't using Scarf. If you are, use Modest.
eww parabolic charge on something with no bulk

You should use Specs Lisk unless you're going for support, in which case Life Orb will do. Electric Terrain is fun

See, my Lisk idea was a spur of the moment thing where I thought "What would happen if I paired a ParaCharging Dry Skin Heliolisk and a Surfing Lanturn under rain?". Considering my Heliolisk set so far is Parabolic Charge/Surf/???/???, Electric Terrain sounds like a fun idea. Life Orb it is! Thanks Rotom!

I'd run HP Ice in the last slot. Last thing you need is a Salamence or a Garchomp giving you the troll face.

Dancing around Electrify ZardY.
I have discovered how to color links. This line isnt one. You know how I said earlier that I dug up some old replays and it physically hurt? This just threw my back again, it hurts that bad.

This happened a while ago in a league I'm in, but we kept the link because it was hilarious.
You think your luck is bad? We actually have a league bot and there is a command to give you the link to this.

I don't feel bad for the Fire guy at all. He was incredibly douchey
Mind, the Steel guy was incredibly douchey too. Incredibly misogynistic. Fire spoke like a misogynist too, but Steel just wouldn't shut up with it.
