Gallade UPN PASBL: Kitt 2000 vs akaFila

akaFila (C) vs. Kitt 2000 (A)
4v4
Single Battle
Equilevel 1
48 HR DQ
Switch = KO
Slapstick
Arena: Shifting Stadium
Spoiler: show
Shifting Stadium (Outdoor Custom Arena): A large stadium similar to Pummelo Stadium that shifts environments on a regular basis. It can simulate many more environments than Pummelo Stadium, however. The stadium shifts once every 4 or 5 rounds, to a random environment. The environments are:
Normal Stadium (10% chance): Not really an environment, but a normal stadium with the same rules as a Clay Arena. All battles must start with this environment.
Grass Field (10% chance): A grass field almost exactly like the Grass Field from the Indigo League in the Anime. In other words, all grass and nothing else.
Rock Field (10% chance): A Rock Field almost exactly like the Rock Field from the Indigo League. There are several Snorlax-sized boulders in this arena.
Water Field (10% chance): A Water Field almost exactly like the Water Field from the Indigo League. In other words, there are two Snorlax-sized platforms floating on the surface of the water, across from each other.
Ice Field (10% chance): An Ice Field similar to the Ice Field from the Indigo League, with a few very small glaciers around the arena.
Forest Fire (10% chance): A Forest Arena, except the forest is on fire, and the fire does spread quickly.
Beach (10% chance): A Beach Arena, but without all the volleyball nets and other things you might find at a beach, other than... well, the actual beach.
Snow-Capped Mountain (10% chance): A few enormous snow-capped mountains. They aren't very hard to climb for a Pokemon with sharp claws or Pokemon that can grip the ice, but other Pokemon will have some problems.
Swamp (10% chance): A Swamp Arena, with simulated fog. There is a fog machine somewhere in the arena, and the fog will become much less dense if the fog machine is destroyed.
Desert (10% chance): A vast desert, full of cacti. However, in most cases, it will be a desert without the extremely high temperatures.
One arena can be picked up to three times in a row, but an unlimited amount of times for the entire match.
Special Rules: Fog (Swamp only), Boulders (Rock Field only), Ice Field (Ice Field only), Water under Ice (Ice Field only), Pontoons (Water Field only), Sandy (Desert only), Snow Cover (Snow-Capped Mountain only), Thin Ice (Ice Field only), Stadium, Onlookers, Artificial Lighting, Announcer

Oh goodie, a Shifting Stadium. With a 4v4 I'm sure we're going to witness more than few of the arenas it has to offer. The announcer is sure to rile up the onlookers as well.

Quick description of the proceedings:
1. akaFila posts a squad of 6 Pokémon
2. King Infernape III posts a Squad of 6 Pokémon and sends one out
3. akaFila sends out a Pokémon and posts first set of orders
4. King Infernape III posts first set of orders
5. I ref
6. King Infernape III posts a set of orders
7. akaFila posts a set of orders
8. I ref
etc until a knock-out occurs

Now let's get this show started. Keep in mind that out starting arena is a generic clay field; Normal Stadium.

Spoiler: show
Special Training: Kendo Master
Through the practicing of the kendo arts, Absur'd has honed his inner fighting spirit, and has developed his battle technique when armed with his trusty leek. By taking part in this kendo training, Absur'd has gained a slight increase in available fighting type energy, and as learned to use moves such as Brick Break, Karate Chop, Cross Chop, and Superpower. With these new additions comes an increased energy cost of each listed move(1.2x the normal cost) and the loss of ability to use Roost, Fly, Knock Off & Thief & Pluck(Due to an increased feeling of attachment to its held item).

- Nicki
Loudred (F) - Lv. 2 - HP: Flying - *shiny*
Sig:
Spoiler: show
Special Training: Super Bass
While Nicki already as an acute relationship with any given field of sound, her deep love of music has brought about considerable numbers of hours listening to music of all sorts. One could say the combination of precise listening and scrupulous studying has just about literally hardwired her brain in a way which amplifies her abilities and know-how of working with sound waves. Through this event, Nicki as enabled any sound-based attacks to be used in battle to have a 15% chance of paralyzing her foes. This comes at the price of each sound-based attack costing 1.2x the normal energy, and the loss of ability to use Rest, Sleep Talk, Snore, Roar, and Screech.

Dave is up first.

How about a big start via back-to-back DC Earthquakes.

Round 1: Sorry I'm Late

After a long wait, the battle fields cleared up of debris from the last match and the Shifting Stadium’s gears start working to return to the standard clay battlefield. The two combatants walk out of opposite entances. A firm nod is all that’s needed to wish each other luck as they both produce a Pokéball from their belt. The King is first to reveal his choice as he flicks the Pokéball onto the battlefield before it burst loudly in a glimmer of white, then red and finally grey. A single sword is seen that makes one swift move as it unsheathes itself from its scabbard, a ghostly hand aiding it.
On the other side of the shifting arena, the challenger shows little fear as he more than confidently tosses his Pokéball into the air. Another bright burst dazzles the audience and soon a purple shade glides out before somersaulting. The Gliscor spreads its wings to maintain balance as it calmly hovers in mid-air. No doubt the flying scorpion’s uplevel and evolution bonus are going to help it out. As if his type advantage wasn’t enough already.
Quote:
Honedge (Steel/Ghost): Honedge is a possessed sword, its body entirely made up of the blade and sheath, making it inorganic. All attacks involving slashing get a 10% boost in power. It moves primarily by floating, moving low over the ground with decent speed. It always grips its sheath with its cloth, somewhat weighted down by the heavy metal protector. Using a move, Honedge can sheath itself, making it immobile but providing a 15% reduction to all damage.
Gliscor (Ground/Flying): Gliscor are not true fliers: instead, they glide. If needed to, however, they are able to fly for short distances, and their claws allow them to grab and climb relatively smooth surfaces. Upon evolving, their claws got quite stronger and attacks that use it are 15% stronger then normal. Gliscor can see in the dark, and fight more enthusiastically at night.
Gliscor is quick to plummet down to earth as he aims for the small metal Pokémon, claws snapping at thin air as they charge themselves with a natural brown colouring. Honedge responds by turning horizontally, hoping to cover as much area as he can to protect his fellow allies. Unfortunately, attacks don’t work in ASB the same way they do in games and merely stretching yourself out will do little to protect from an incoming attack. As a result, Link’s guarding pose is met with a direct hit as Dave’s claws snap at the blade and ground energy pours into the metal, as if attempting to make it rust. Instead though, the energy quakes and resonates inside the Honedge, amplified by its lack of resistance to the typing and aided by the Gliscor’s boosts. Once Dave lets go and slowly backs off, a pretty beat up sword is revealed to the audience as they erupt loudly at the success of the first attack already. Not to lose the attention of the spectators, Link swings at thin air as he commands his shadow to slide across the ground. Dave is too caught up in the cheering to notice the black shade crawling its way beneath him before erupting up to slash at him, giving him a nice piece of neutral damage. The shadow returns to its master and the battle segues into the next round.

Summary:
Little energy expenditure and so both look good in the energy department. Link has been dealt a huge blow and is quickly approaching the end of his first third of health.

Keep your distance. Use Toxic, then Protect if possible. If not, use Shadow Ball.

Round 2: Bring In The Bludgers please!

Link turns on his axis to face the flying scorpion. His sword tip starts oozing a darkish purple ooze but before it can muster up enough poison energy, it shivers in place as a nasty chills runs up his hilt. A sinister dark curse takes place and it is clear that Dave, who is muttering like Snape at a Quidditch match, is responsible for setting up this Taunt. With his opponent undefended as he cannot use protect either, Dave goes for the attack…and spins in place to further boost his already severely heightened offences. *sigh*

Summary:
No damage! Dave is the only one to have used energy.
