I feel like this has come up in the anime before but I honestly don't remember.

I'd say they'd stay asleep but recover energy rather rapidly, and likely wake up soon after being released again.

I have a question. Let's say I rematch Sneezey, defeat him, and win his badge. If he leaves and I'm put into the gym in his place, would that badge automatically become my new badge? Or could I have both at the same time?
We've discussed reforming badge transference in the past and altering the rule where one badge of X type = other badge of X type. Frankly, nowhere in Pokémon is it ever the case that any badge is equivalent to any other, so it seems silly to keep enforcing this rule. It's one thing to allow people to pick up badges with effects when the badge they have has none, but it's another to let people get better badges that they didn't earn.

Long story short, I say you'd keep Sneasel's badge and get your own Ghost badge.

So I asked earlier about levitation earlier but I have another flight ceiling related question.

If something can fly but isn't flying type, about what would it's height limit be?

Also in regards to Caterpei & Weedle line, do you have to battle with them in order to have them evolve or can you start out with them being fully evolved since the acquisition for all them is 1?

Conundrum: I was TL2 when I was put onto Kin's GT queue, because I was TL2. During that time, he was smashing Whimsy's teeth but couldn't battle me until he was finished with him. That match has nearly finished, but I am now TL3. Can we still battle, or am I forced to battle Dave instead?

I remember a vague mention of this... but do ghost type that is invisible receives damage, do they go back to solid/visible?

Here ya go. I'm compiling some data from ASB because it's 4am and I can't sleep, and thought this might be interesting to all y'all in case you wanted to decide on new squad members or check on which members of your squad would be better on equiall 4 or 5. Things like that.

Kush's formatting made it so Excel threw a fit whenever I tried to sort the data, so I ended up having to input numbers by hand - the sort ended up going well after that though.

I would appreciate an LO's ruling on the following questions.

Do moves that are interrupted before they connect cost the full amount of energy? Do they contribute to exhaustion?

Along those lines, is the energy used for physical attacks such as Ice Punch half XX type and half type energy? Because in the past I've always reffed such attacks as using all type energy (seven minors of ice energy, in the case of Ice Punch). If my italicized statement is true, is the XX energy only used when the blow is actually swung?

It doesn't because that would be stupid.

For one, moves that are interrupted or disrupted do not cost full energy unless, say, a ranged attack was incredibly close to being fully charged and disrupted at the last second. But this is rare. A Dynamic Punch being Sucker Punched will not cost full energy, a Thunderbolt being Screeched will not cost full energy.

For two, no. It used to be but about a year ago the Elemental Punches/Fangs were rejigged to be wholly-typed and not XX because it was stupid.

Depends. What's the Pokémon?

And anything that has evos at TL1 can be added directly at TL1.

Eh, I think you really should have to battle Dave.

At the moment. That might change though, and curses will be made to fade at some point too.

Dunsparce, the poison/bug, Volcarona & Flygon. Also Druddigon if that thing can actually fly with those things.

Dunsparce can probably fly only about 10ish feet before straining itself, Beedrill and Venomoth can fly reasonably high, Volcarona and Flygon are about as capable as Fliers, though not as fast or nimble.

Does Foresight affect all active participants, or is the user immune to the effects?

Any basis behind that rationale? Foresight's not really in the league of moves like Perish Song.

It's a flash of light. It literally says "fills the arena with light", which I would take to imply that it effects everyone on the field.

As do Flash and Dazzling Gleam which similarly fill areas with light. Foresight has been shown to be focused away from the user. There's really no precedent for Foresight affecting the user.

I understand that, but the description implies that it eliminates all uses of the attacks and solidifies all Ghosts, etc. I'm going by the description for now, but you're free to take it to Move Rewrites if you'd like it tightened up.

"Use a combination of Quick Attack and U-Turn at the same time to dodge the attack and strike the ground as the target of U-Turn, immediately switching out to Surya."
What would happen here? I think neither of the two attacks should go though but still.

Combo moves can work, they just use more energy to do so and have to be connected somehow. Personally I'd probably ref that as using Quick Attack to dodge and then immediately U-turning on the ground.

sound moves such as hyper voice and bug buzz completely circumvent subs in gen VI. Could that possibly be implemented in ASB?

But why would a Pokemon use U-Turn after quick attack when it has been told to do it together? Like it would use quick attack while charging up enough bug type energy which in this case requires concentration. Hence the Pokemon would not be able to do either or do only quick attack. If this is fine, this is how I made it go.

Regarding the Poke Mart-

Are SP <--> TP conversions subject to the same "Inside 7-days, deleting it to cancel the transaction is fine" rule?
