UPN PASBL: EmeraldGoblin vs. Cloneblazer

Squad up, you two.

As a note since I'm bad, this will be in 4/6 scale with x2/x3 effectiveness, provided there's no complaints.

Moku: Level 1 Male Stunfisk
Stunfisk: (Ground/Electric) Despite being a Ground-type, Stunfisk dwells primarily underwater and can stay in water for an unlimited amount of time. Though still weak to Water attacks, it is somewhat less vulnerable than other Ground-types. Stunfisk, though able to swim somewhat, moves mostly through flopping and sliding, but it prefers to lie and await foes in mud or other similar substrate.
[Ground]: Ground Pokémon are considered to be immune to electricity while standing on the ground. If a Ground Pokémon is in the air, they take 75% the normal damage from electric attacks. If a ground type is wet, electric attacks affect it normally (unless the Pokémon is naturally wet/slimy, like Quagsire).
[Electric]: Electric types, in general, prefer areas where their electric attacks are most accurate. Thus, while hot temperatures don’t bother them, the fact that heat refracts electricity doesn't appeal to them.
Biography: Not Available
No Signature Move

Hidden Power: Ground

Due: Level 1 Male Treecko
Treecko (Grass): Thanks to the small hooks on their feet, Treecko are able to scale most vertical walls. Treecko cannot be intimidated easily, and are therefore more resistant to Fear-inducing attacks.
[Grass]: Grass types live anywhere that can support vegetation, though most prefer temperate to tropical climates. Grass types enjoy both bright sun and rain. Rainstorms will heal them slightly every round the rain falls.
Biography: Not Available
No Signature Move

Hidden Power: Ice

Shady Shin: Level 1 Male Venipede
Venipede (Bug/Poison): Venipede has developed a specialized poison as a method of self-defense against Flying Pokémon, with a slight (5%) additional chance of mild to moderate paralysis around the contact site.
[Bug]: Bugs can, in most case, see in the dark. While most live in warm climates, they hate fire, and dislike cold.
[Poison]: If not completely immune, poison types are highly resistant to poisoning.
Biography: Chu chu children, hop one the train of pure wreckage. He is here, and he is ready to roll over the competition.

Special Training: Hop on the Veggie Train [GS]
Shady Shin learns Wood Hammer, with the grass off type to use it twice per battle.
Hidden Power: Ice

Yue: Level 1 Female Lapras
Lapras (Water/Ice): Lapras is slow and ungainly on land, but is incredibly fast and agile in water, particularly on top. As a carrier Pokémon, Lapras can carry up to 1.5 times its weight and not have its speed affected. Lapras’ shell is hard, and any attacks there are reduced to 75% damage.
[Water]: Water Pokémon are able to hold their breath and/or breathe under water. The time varies, from about half an hour to one hour for reptilians and mammals, and indefinitely for fish and squid like Pokémon. They are also, generally, good swimmers.
[Ice]: Ice Pokémon are highly resistant to cold, and love fighting in it. However, they hate hot temperatures, and will not fight as well.
Biography: Not Available.
No Signature Move.

Hidden Power: Ground

Tarrlok: Level 1 Male Poliwag
Poliwag (Water): Poliwag cannot run on land, so it prefers swimming to walking. All of the Poliwag family secrete a sort of slime when out of the water, which makes them more slippery and harder to grab.
[Water]: Water Pokémon are able to hold their breath and/or breathe under water. The time varies, from about half an hour to one hour for reptilians and mammals, and indefinitely for fish and squid like Pokémon. They are also, generally, good swimmers.
Biography: Tarrlok enjoyed pro wrestling soo much, that he improved upon his own technique. Using circle throw as a base for his attack, he figured that if he changes his grapple angle ever so slightly, that he could apply enough pressure to send the opposing pokemon flying back to his pokeball.

Special Attack: Real Circle Throw [FT]
Dealing Considerable Damage for significant Energy, Improved Circle Throw actually sends the opponent back to its pokeball in the same manner as if the opponent had just used baton pass. This does not pass on any boosts the target may have had and the new pokemon does not gain the same physical and psychological mindset as the target. In Switch=KO matches, this does not count as a KO. The switch is treated as if baton pass had been used, with the target’s trainer declaring their new pokemon after the round has been reffed; turn order is unaffected. This move will fail if the target is the last remaining pokemon that its trainer may use in the battle. The technique can only be used once per battle. Tarrlok can no longer use Circle Throw, Focus Punch, Hyper Beam, and Giga Impact.
Hidden Power: Bug

Kuruk: Level 1 Male Tauros
Tauros (Normal): Tauros is a powerful charger. Any tackling or ramming attacks do extra damage, as Tauros continues over the opponent, doing extra trampling damage.
[Normal]: Normal types can use the greatest variety of attacks in the league: they pay for this, however, by having less type energy. In the ASB, Normal types take 100% damage from Ghost type moves.
Biography: Kuruk is very horny. No really, his horns are magical. When he charges them, he can let out a mean load of fairy energy.

Special Attack: Fairy Horn [FA]
Kuruk’s horns glow with energy, dealing considerable fairy damage for considerable fairy energy when they are rammed against an opponent. For 20% more energy, he can create a projection of them, launching it out as a solid set of energy horn, similar to how Ranged X-Scissor can be fired. The attack is usable twice per battle.
Hidden Power: Flying

Blazer the Combusken-Male lvl 2 Uplevel
Signature Training: Submission
After training extensively with other fighting types, they have shown him the ropes of true hand to hand combat. This, in turn, allowed Blazer to learn the move Submission. His technique is not perfect, however, as he can still slip up in particularly difficult holds that natural learners of the move would be able to perform. He is still able to grapple with his opponent in the more traditional sense. However, it takes increased energy to perform a second move while performing a submission.

Pummelo Stadium. Actually a pretty cool arena, all things considered.

Our two combatants stride into view, one clearly tiny compared to the other. Kuruk looms over his opponent with a haughty look in his eye, as Grace whimpers slightly. Stamping his hooves, Kuruk begins to move incredibly quickly, darting between multiple places within the arena. Grace is having none of it, releasing a booming cry and destroying all of the clones created by the Tauros' shenanigans, wearing a proud expression as she does so. Kuruk responds by bellowing out a vicious Uproar, but Grace once again responds in kind by lancing him with a Psyshock. Ouch.

Grace has an early lead over Kuruk, and both remain fresh.

Psyshock once more. Psychic Wave if he stays at range. Grass Knot if he charges you.

Grace stands warily, before releasing a sudden burst of Psychic type energy towards Kuruk. The small orbs hover in the air for a brief moment, but the Tauros grunts, shrouding himself within a thick bubble of Dark- type energy. The bubble cuts through the incoming spheres effortlessly, and Kuruk slams into his opponent painfully, the tiny Ralts crying out in pain. Kuruk then coats his forehead in a generous layer of Steel- type energy, and while Grace attempts to trip him with a Grass Knot, the grass doesn't grow quickly enough thanks to the close proximity of the two. Bang.

Kuruk gained the lead this round, taking no damage while Grace dropped below the midpoint. Both remain good for two.

Kuruk opens his maw wide, exhaling a powerful gust of breath. Infused Ice- type energy causes it to glow with a strange blue hue, and as it envelops Grace, she shudders involuntarily. Grimacing, she holds her hands out before her, before glowing with an incredible pink light. Seconds later, Kuruk is hit with the Dazzling Gleam, the Tauros shrinking away from his assailant. Huffing, he charges forwards, leaping into the air, but Grace is prepared. A simple swing of one arm and Kuruk lands painfully on a green, protective barrier. Then Grace suckers him with a Confuse Ray. Oh dear.

Kuruk's mind is completely scrambled, and he's panting a little. He's nowhere near as tired as Grace thought, who is panting heavily.

Kuruk thrashes around briefly, before his eyes slowly lose their glazed over look. Lowering his head, he wreathes his cranium within a thin layer of Psychic type energy, which promotes his zen like state. Charging forward, he remains completely oblivious to the flurry of hypnotic rings making their way towards him, and he slams into Grace painfully. Grimacing, the Ralts tries her best to charm her opponent, but her beaten condition simply makes Kuruk huff indignantly.

Grace remains exhausted, while Kuruk is fresh.

No. Zen Headbutt clears confusion.

Kuruk charges forward, gaining an incredible momentum, before leaping into the air. His helpless foe can do nothing as she is crumpled beneath the almighty weight of her opponent, Kuruk wearing a triumphant expression as he slowly lifts himself off from Grace. The Ralts lays limp, entirely paralysed, and can do nothing as Kuruk continues his assault. Raising a single, cloven hoof, he gives Grace a despondent look, before slamming it down.

Grace is unable to battle! Cloneblazer, your final Pokemon please.

Kuruk remains good for two.

Er, the referee will always referee the orders that he sees prior to edits, so I refereed the round as if you were using Destiny Bond. As well as that, Grace wouldn't have performed Dazzling Gleam anyway, so I'll be needing your next Pokemon as the KO and round stands.

Grace is returned to her Pokeball, quickly replaced by a feisty Combusken named Blazer. Wasting no time, he darts forward, pivoting on one foot while delivering a brutal series of kicks to the underside of Kuruk's jaw with the other. The Tauros is unimpressed, coating his head in a thick layer of Ground- type energy before ramming forwards viciously, knocking Blazer to the ground. The lithe Fire- type quickly leaps back to his feet, curling one hand into a tight fist. The appendage quickly seethes with energy, but as he brings it crashing forwards, Kuruk throws of a shield of energy, leaving him untouched. Then the Tauros summons a wave of Water- type energy and allows it to crash over Blazer. Yay for Magic Surf!

Blazer is already below the midpoint, while Kuruk is not far behind, resting just above. Blazer is fresh, while Kuruk is exhausted.
