So I'm asking this because the description doesn't say otherwise and it sounds like it could make the move... Interesting.

Guard Swap (PS) -- The user consumes a massive amount of energy to attempt to establish a direct functioning link between its mind and the target. Connection time varies based on the complexity of the target’s mind and the cognitive capacity of the user. If the user is disturbed during connection time, the move fails. Once the connection is made, the user expends further energy in order to make both the user and the target feel as though they have the attack absorbing capabilities of their counterpart. As a result, both affected Pokémon will feel like they are taking blows in the same fashion as their counterpart would. This can result in Pokémon fainting before they’ve taken sufficient damage to do so because they feel that there is no way that they could continue to battle. However, it does not mean that Pokémon can continue to fight even after they’ve taken sufficient real damage to knock them out. If either Pokémon is knocked out, or the user’s mind becomes confused or clouded, the attack ends and the user becomes aware of their own state again.

Does this include type effectiveness? Like, would each pokemon feel like they're weak/resistant to what the other pokemon is weak/resistant to?

Inverse battles are unlikely to be a thing.

No, you misunderstood; I'm asking if, while under the effects of Guard Swap, each pokemon would think that it's weak to what the other is weak to: For example, if a Girafarig used it on a Scyther, would Scyther think itself weak to bug, ghost, and dark, and Girafarig think itself weak to flying, fire, ice, electric, and 4x weak to rock? And by the same token, would Girafarig consider itself resistant to what Scyther resists and Scyther think itself resistant to what Girafarig resists? (Though that's sliiiightly less important due to the "However, it does not mean that Pokémon can continue to fight even after they’ve taken sufficient real damage to knock them out." clause).

Normally I'd assume no because it's kinda a big deal, but... The move does use massive energy.

bigggg5 versus 2hertz

As I started reffing, I noticed that bigggg5 sent out a Gyarados, and unfortunately didn't notice it before. Now of course this is wrong because biggggg5 is TL3 and Gyarados is TL4. After checking through the rest of his squad, I noticed that his Primeape and Ursaring were also illegal. So, I told him to repost his squad, so that 2hertz could in turn repost his(and not get stuck at a disadvantage if bigggg5 merely edited and put in pokes better suited.)

Did I do the right thing? Or should I be addressing this another way?

Yeah that's fine. In general, just go back to the easiest point.

It's also funny as I recently raped his Ursaring with a Salamence-Haxorus combo which technically shouldn't have happened.

For TP/KO to level up, must you have 30 TP at the time of ready-to-level-up or 30 TP you have earned in total? So if you trade in your TP for a SP, you're *insert TP* away from levelling up?

You must have it then and there. If you convert it away from TP, you need to earn it back.

Write it in the SC "due to its awesome movepool, it gets offtype nerfed" you guys are creative... i bet you can word it much better =p

These are not Normal-types.

Yes, but under our current unofficial-but-everyone-uses system, their type energies would be about where Wiggly's would be when Fairy is implemented, and have huge movepools.

And why do Normals gets fucked over because a few are god-tier? Why do Delcatty and Watchog suffer for the sins Pokemon of Wigglytuff (which becomes dual-type soon anyway), Clefable (which won't be Normal much longer), and Togekiss (see Clefable)?

Bad examples, both of those get a fair few decent moves.

With the exception of things that are crap but become things that aren't Normal (Azurill, Eevee), most Normals have access to a significant range of off-type and, crucially, only have one weakness, the most common move of which isn't good against soft targets. Electrics are similar, but none of them are as good as the average Normal with the possible exception of Electivire.

Also all SCs (and Type Characteristics) are under revision anyway.

Is there any sleep clause in place? Like restrictions on number of sleep moves able to be used in battle?

In fact there is! You get one successful sleep move per Pokémon.

Is the abomination that was DC Earth Power still exist or did we thankfully do away with that?

Biased? Of course not!

Earth Power can be used directly on to an opponent but there is no real advantage to this other than using it in arenas without appropriate terrain.
