Re: Beginner Trainer Battle: Shadowshocker vs. psychopath
Factor quickly closes its eyes as Thunderfuzz runs up to its front, acting as cute as possible in order to attempt to Charm the dark dog. Seeing the futileness of this, Thunderfuzz attempts to intimidate its opponent, Growling angrily at Factor. Factor is only minimally affected by this and opens his eyes quickly. Taking in Thunderfuzz's position Factor half-limps/half-runs into Thunderfuzz, attempting to Tackle her into the bush. Unluckily for Factor, the blow seems to have lacked enough power to push it that far, as well as the Tackle seeming to reduce Thunderfuzz's paralysis signifcantly.
Factor used minor energy this turn and took no damage, and its paralysis is somewhat better than last turn. Thunderfuzz, on the other hand, used about no energy this turn, though it took a mild hit, reaching the lower limits of its health. It still seems to be able to take a bit more, however. Its paralysis is better as well, having a bit more range of movement than Factor.

Factor turns around, rehashing a familiar move as it kicks up the topsoil, sending a cloud of dust and dirt toward...nothing. Sensing the threat, a slightly gimpy Thunderfuzz was able to tap its energy reserves, leaving a trail of white energy behind it as it quickly runs out of range of the attack. Now having quite some distance between the two, Thunderfuzz smiles evilly as it opens its mouth, preparing to roast the dark type Pokemon. She rears her head back, preparing before expelling a puff of smoke. Looking rather embarrassed, Thunderfuzz seems to have expended all of the fire energy it had available to it in the previous several fire attacks. Factor turns and sees that Thunderfuzz is quite out of range of a Sand-Attack, and therefore does not use its second attack.
Thunderfuzz expended some energy this round, its breathing deepening by the moment. Factor is quite the same as last round. |

"When in doubt, use Quick Attack! Twice." Thunderfuzz was getting tired, so it was the best strategy to use all her leftover energy before she lost.

"When the first Quick Attack comes in, Sand-Attack her face. Then aim a good Tackle to toss her into the burning bush again when you can, Factor."

Sensing the battle coming close to its conclusion, Factor turns around as Thunderfuzz taps its energy, rushing forward at breakneck speeds. Factor's feet rake the ground just as Thunderfuzz prepares to strike, causing the dust to score a direct hit, Thunderfuzz screeching in pain as its momentum keeps it moving into Factor, scoring a light hit on the canid. Thunderfuzz furiously works to remove the irritants from its eyes, though during this time, Factor positions itself, preparing itself a moment before ramming its entire body weight into Thunderfuzz. Thunderfuzz calls out in pain as it skids backwards a few feet, the Tackle attack not having quite enough power to launch it through the air. However, Thunderfuzz looks quite on its last legs on health, the second Quick Attack having been pushed from its mind by the Sand-Attack.
Factor is looking slightly more tired than last round, though Thunderfuzz looks as though a simple leaf falling on it will knock it out. |

"At this point, don't overexert yourself, Factor. See if you can get in a Tail Whip into another Tackle."

Factor runs across the field, breathing deepening with every moment as he works to end this battle. He swings his tail as hard as he can, smacking Thunderfuzz hard across the head. Thunderfuzz, miraculously, attempts to stand up - just in time for Factor to ram into her, sending her deep into the worlds of unconciousness.
Thunderfuzz is unable to battle! Factor is the winner! For winning, Factor will gain two levels - if he hasn't gained any other levels since this battle began, therefore, he will be Level 19. Shadowshocker also wins this Beginner Trainer Battle Trophy - Earn 2 more of these and you may challenge the Level 1 Fizzy Bubbles Gyms. Thank you both for a great battle and hope to see you in future battles. :O |
