Problem Sleuth is ok, but I didn't like it anywhere near as much as HS. Like.. to me PS made pretty much no sense and was just random gags.

Yeah Problem Sleuth is a LOT different from Homestuck but it's fun and takes way less time to read (and also makes the first fourth of Homestuck make a lot more sense really). If you have the time and haven't read it yet, you should check it out. It helps you to appreciate a lot of the jokes in Homestuck that seem really out of place.

I agree. It's not bad by any means. It just appeals to different audience in a way. Also there are a lot of interrelated gags and such that are cool to notice.
It's also super way shorter so.. yeah. Give it a shot. |

I will not read Problem Sleuth specifically because I was demanded to read it, not asked to.

It's been way too long since I read Problem Sleuth. I should go read it.
Also, yeah, Problem Sleuth is awesome and I'm really lucky I read it before Homestuck. as a matter of fact, upnetwork user poke_hunter introduced me to problem sleuth and kicked off what would become the whole wave of homestuck over upn

I didn't know wanting to be asked nicely to do something rather than being demanded to do something now was immature. It's just asking for basic human decorum now isn't it?

I was more referring to deciding not to read something potentially good for such a petty reason. Human decorum is always appreciated.

I'm waiting to own the Problem Sleuth books before reading them. They seem like something I would more than likely want a physical copy of for life.

Homestuck is over. We did what we came here to do. Good job, everyone. |

Like I'm not saying "GO READ PROBLEM SLEUTH NOW OR I'LL NEVER TALK TO YOU AGAIN/THINK YOU'RE A BAD PERSON" it's like "Hey this is a neat thing and you should read it! You'll enjoy it!" Please don't take everything said on the Internet at face value??? |

Aside from that, that is pretty crazy. I have a hard time imagining anybody like Snoop Dogg reading through more than a few screens of Homestuck, much less getting so far as to become a fan and to recognize the later character designs. I'm wondering if what's instead happened is that he has absolutely no clue what Homestuck is but some fan of his made him this piece of art, some other fan of his pointed out to him what it was, and so he (or his publicist) then tweeted the appreciative tweet we see above. Sort of like if someone had Snoop in place of Twilight Sparkle and someone pointed out to him what the fanart was about and he (or his publicist) gave a shout out to all of his brony fans, even though Snoop himself had never watched a single episode of MLP:FiM. But if this isn't what's going on? And if he actually has played Homestuck himself and he does know about that universe? And if he actually is a fan? Well I'll be.

As for the Snoop thing, I don't know if he reads it. He is heavily mentioned and stuff in the comic so.. who knows. He also retweeted other Homestuck related art. |

Some time ago I heard Rosario Dawson tweeted something about Homestuck too if we're talking about strange homestuck/celebrity connections. I'm only glad Nic Cage hasn't been drawn to respond to any messages that he's undoubtedly gotten about it. It'd be a fan wank tsunami compared to when Dante Basco decided to get knee deep in Homestuck.

I have often replied to a friend who hasn't seen ____ or played ____ with similar reactions. "What!! No! This can't be, YOU HAVE TO SEE/PLAY OT RIGHT NOW!" , entirely in a friendly way. You just completely misinterpreted his intent. :l

Well Kori now you're being a wanker, so congrats.
Has anybody come out with a HS summary of the latest stuff yet? I seem to recall something about a Golden Yard, but that's the latest thing I remember. |

Homestuck is now even more "officially impossible to explain to anyone" than it was before.

If you're reading it it'll make sense.
But trying to explain it to someone who doesn't read it at this point.. well.. yeah. |
