Melissa entered the Cable Club, a Houndour following at her heels, as she looked around for this Levin person. Almost immediately after she'd hatched her latest egg, he'd contacted her, wondering whether she had been the one looking for a Trapinch and whether she was interested in a trade. She'd considered it, surprised that he'd remembered that one comment made months ago, and, after some thought and investigation, decided to bid for it. She certainly hadn't quite expected to win it, as the other contender had seemed pretty interested also, but she wasn't going to turn down the offer.

Quickly spotting him near a terminal, she weaved her way through the other trainers and greeted him, before placing her 3 Rare Candies and 50,000 coins on her side of the terminal. Several moments later, the Fizzytopian forms of currency were replaced with a Pokeball, which she picked up, releasing the Pokemon inside. The Trapinch, Mellow she thought he'd been called, appeared in a flash of red, Prince moving to investigate this newcomer, as the Ground-type looked between Levin and Melissa, quickly figuring out what had happened. With a grin now, Melissa thanked Levin, before walking to the exit, Prince herding the Trapinch along behind her.

"Well, Mellow, let's give you a new name to go with your new situation," she told him. "Wildsong...for when you can fly." The Trapinch tilted his head, considering the name and his new trainer, before grinning at her and nodding. "Welcome to the team, Wildsong."

Bio:
Always upbeat and brimming with joy, Mellow is the happiest member of the gang. Nothing trivial can ever upset him, as the little Trapinch's outlook on life is eternally optimistic.
Mellow tries his best to get along with everyone on the team, and has formed a very strong bond with Levin soon after arriving. He is a bit of a prankster too, but all in light-hearted mischief. Unlike what it might seem, it’s not that Mellow is detached from the reality of things; he just chooses not to give too much importance to little things, and as a result appears permanently cheerful. All in all, Mellow is a pleasure to be around with and can lift the spirits of anyone who is feeling down.
His greatest ambition is to one day be able to fly as high as he wishes, not unlike the Bagon species, and his favourite way to pass time is gazing at the starry sky at night, in hopes of reaching it one day.
Born on October 29th 2012, a fateful day for the land, perhaps Mellow is the embodiment of those very winds of change; winds he hopes to one day ride himself.

Levin entered the Cable Club with Mellow following close behind. He knew what had been discussed, and realized it made the most sense: his biggest desire being to one day fly, it was only fitting that his Trainer promised to help the Trapinch achieve his goal; and while Levin would have liked the opportunity to help, Melissa had always yearned for a Flygon of her own, and would no doubt put a lot more effort into raising Mellow than he ever could.

He happened to remember how she was upset after another Trainer had traded Mellow over to Levin before she even realized he was up for grabs. He didn't forget that particular comment and could entirely relate to her frustration... so it was easy for him to remember the girl now.

He fell to one knee and patted Mellow on the head.

- Melissa will help you grow into a beautiful Flygon, and the sky will be yours. I hope she calls me to let me know when that happens, so I can congratulate you! She's a good person, I'm sure you'll feel right at home with her. I promise I'll take care of Gaius, Dolce and the others, so take good care of her Pokemon in return! You were a great friend to have, thanks for everything Mellow...

The Trapinch smiled back with a huge toothy grin and nodded cheerfully. Recalling him into his Pokeball, Levin placed it on the terminal and closed the trade; After being released by Melissa, he grinned at Levin one final time, before turning around to meet his new friends, and welcomed his new name - Wildsong - with excitement; he was sure his dream would come true under Melissa's ownership!

Levin thanked the other Trainer, wishing her all the best, and left the Cable Club without regrets; Mellow - or rather, Wildsong - was in good hands.

He had been waiting a few days for this, and finally, he would have to opportunity a rather controversial acquisition for his team; a Cryogonal, no less! In a way, it made sense to him. For a Dragon Tamer, Ice was the most dreaded type to deal with, and actually raising an Ice-type Pokémon, especially one famous for being brutally effective at hunting in the wild, was a definite bonus at learning more about his weaknesses. It would be hard, and had so much to learn, but the mere idea thrilled him, and there was no price he wasn't willing to pay for it.

Ymir is simply unreadable. The most immediate comparison that can be drawn is to Zion, but to Levin there is one small, yet fundamental, difference between the two inorganics.
Whereas Zion is a synthetic clearly moved by the desire to learn and understand, Ymir is an embodiment of nature with no apparent motivations or goals, bringing into question just how alive it really is. It seems to have incorporated the concept of allegiance, as it unfailingly obeys Levin’s every command, but it won’t otherwise interact with anything or anyone out of its own volition – at most, it will hunt for food with its ice chains, that biological imperative being the only thing that allows Levin to classify it as a living creature. And while its passive behaviour makes it an easy Pokemon to train, Levin has on occasion wondered about the viciousness it displays while hunting, almost as if the pain it inflicts on its prey is… excessive…

It was for the best. Zion was already enough of a challenge to raise adequately when it showcased no emotions; a second inorganic, especially one with inexplicable violent tendencies, was a burden he couldn't bear. Fortunately, Duke had made it his personal mission to tame an Ice-Type, and Ymir provided just the challenge. Hopefully the experienced Dragon Tamer would figure out how to please the Cryogonal, or at the very least communicate with it; it would be in his best interest, and Ymir's as well. He was now in far more capable - or at least, dedicated - hands, and Levin could once again focus on his other teammates.
Thanking Duke, he shook his hand and left the Cable Club once again.
