Round 15: Almost nothing happens

So I_D’s final mon is Genryu the Dragonair, good choice but be wary of Nidoking’s many ice type moves.

Being released in the water Dragonair remains unseen and starts dancing boosting his attack a little and his speed some more. Nidoking tried to focus and spot the dancing dragon but failed so no sludgebombs this time.

Results:

Genryu used some energy dancing, but no damage while Nidoking used slightly less energy focusing and also no damage he’s also not too tired anymore.

Genryu, come out of the water with a Swagger, then fly over the wall with an Aqua Tail

Round 16: DERP

So Nidoking starts by summoning the iron curtain a wall made out of rocks, blocking the view. Dragonair pops up and starts to swagger. The problem is that, unlike taunt, there are no sounds involved so it does squad as Bradley doesn’t see it. What he does see is a huge serpent flying over his wall and he blows him some heart shaped projectiles. So instead of hitting Bradley with aquatail the Dragonair does a little dance.

Results:

Dragonair used only minor energy and didn’t take any damage, but is confused.

Bradley on the other hand used more energy and is getting further below half.

Just wondering - distance between them? Logic would suggest they're close because Genryu was flying toward Bradley before getting hit, but would like clarification.

Well Dragonair is dancing in the air, not too far away but out of reach of contact attacks (he had to fly over the wall so yeah). Aside from altidude they're at most three metres apart.

Logic would suggest that if Bradley could look up and see Genryu over the wall, he would've been entangled in the Swagger and unable to use a non-damaging move.

Re-ref.

Let me take care of this for you.
G = Genryu B = Bradley | = Wall 0 = Space.
G00{insert Aqua Tail}

000|B
Silly Goob. He was looking up and saw the tail, not peeking over the edge of the wall.

You said to 'come out of the water with a Swagger'. There was a wall in the way. Swagger is an entirely visual move, so Bradley was unaffected. He only saw him when Genryu flew over the wall to attack.

Also Swagger doesn't mean that all non-attacking moves are an auto-fail, it grants an attack boost in exchange for an attack failure rate which is somewhat higher for non-damaging moves.

Orders please.

This, Bradley only saw him when Genryu flew over the wall, that was after swagger.

Sorry I_D, but this is the only match I have anywhere close to finishing, plus I'm like 1 KO from TL6. Might as well speed up what was going to happen the next few rounds...

"Bradley, Blizzard, then grab him in your Outrage. Full-charge Hyper Beam to finish."

Round 17: Fucking finally

So I_D has finally disapeared for too long. Gogo Bradly. He uses Blizzard that nails the dragon type for massive damage. And then uses Outrage. A Hyperbeam seals the deal.

Genruy is unable to battle! I_D has been disqualified!

Dave gains 4 KO's and 8 TP
I_D gains 4 TP
I gain 5 SP for speedy reffings.

Cheers Milo, thanks for reffings. You were better than I thought you'd be when you took it.

Good match I_D, sorry for DQing but like I said I need stuff to move. We could always battle again when you're back for good. If we do, try actually attacking that time, eh?
