Round 1:

Two trainers walk silently onto the clouds they are greated by a young man whom sadly is unable to referee for them but he lays the ground work for them to begin their showdown! Soon after a tall red haired man walks in he signals that he will be taking over the match and he introduces the combatants to each other. On one side the resident Inogranic pokemon enthusiast on the other the fairy gym leader, the two opt to use all 6 of their pokemon in this match. Let the showdown begin!

Roto steps forwards and lets loose his first pokemon Keyring the Klefki! Seeing her foes selection Champ release Bliss the Togekiss as her first champion.

Quote:
Klefki (Steel/Fairy): Klefki collect a large variety of keys on their ring, never letting them go. They can use them to attack physically or jangle them to create a loud sound to threaten or distract foes. Klefki levitate by default. Due to being a living keyring, they are inorganic. Natural pranksters, they use non damaging moves that target the foe faster than usual.

[Steel]: Steel-type Pokémon generally have tempered bodies, meaning they take slightly reduced damage from physical attacks. Their Steel type attacks are more proficient at cutting through energy, allowing them to reduce damage while breaking through them, unlike other Pokémon. Most are so heavy that they will sink in water, so they stay away from deep-water sources if possible, though they are not bothered by water to the degree Rock-types are. Most Steel Pokémon prefer cold temperatures to hot ones. Steel-types are resistant to XX and take neutral damage from the damaging effects of Normal-type energy in the ASB, as opposed to resisted damage in the games. They are immune to the damaging effects of Poison-type energy and are difficult to poison.

[Fairy]: Fairy-types are generally pure hearted and gregarious. They prefer natural environments and will fight more enthusiastically in them, but they will not be off put by urban environments. Any attack used by a Fairy-type which manipulates the environment is slightly more effective owing to the magical energies involved and attacks which boost allied Pokémon is slightly more effective at providing a buff. They are immune to the damaging effects of Dragon-typed energy.

-----
Togekiss (Fairy/Flying): Despite their appearance, they are fast and agile fliers. Togekiss are also capable of minimal levitation, allowing them greater stability. Togekiss can be trained only by trainers that make them happy, so Return is more powerful when used by one. They are incredibly chirpy and enthusiastic Pokémon, and will entrance opponents more readily when using attacks like Charm and Sweet Kiss, being significantly more potent. These moves will also function better in Contests when used by Togekiss.

[Flying]: Flying-type Pokémon are faster and more agile in their chosen mode of transportation than other Pokémon. Because of their skill in controlling their movement, they are more difficult to evade when using physical moves and more likely to succeed in dodging attacks. This also means that they are much harder to knock off course after gathering momentum. They are also more adept at commanding the wind, and they can use these attacks with slightly less energy than normal. Flying type Pokémon are affected normally by the damaging effects of Ground-typed energy and take neutral damage from Ground type moves in the ASB. They fight more enthusiastically in spacious arenas but are not put off by cramped conditions.
The two pokemon appear in flashes near their trainers. Both looking ready to fight. A whistle is blown and the two pokemon float up into the air to begin this fight!

Bliss begins to gather up energy the energy hissing with the sounds of electricity, fire and ice all mixed into one attack orbs begin to circle around Bliss as she gathers her energy. She takes aim and fires upon Keyring. The hissing sounds continue as the orbs get closer and closer together before striking Keyring for some damage however he somehow avoids all statuses which could be inflicted by the attack! He floats wearily backing away slightly from the togekiss as he too begins to gather some energy.

Keyring looking to try to gain some sort of early advantage over Bliss fires off a reflective ball of steel. The ball reflecting the natural light within the arena as it flies towards Bliss, however while it flies forwards the natural energies within the arena sapping away some of the power from the steel typed attack. Despite the weakened state the steel ball collides Bliss full on as her eyes are bothered by the reflection of light off the ball. She is hit with the super effective steel attack and lets out a small cry of pain however she looks down upon her foe ready to make him regret ever coming here.

Bliss flies down towards Keyring eager to see her foes next move in an effort to interrupt it. Bliss notices her foe beginning to calm his mind as he does so she confides in him the two attacks cancelling each other out with Keyring gaining no boost but finding no decrease in his strength. The two float apart as the first round comes to a close.

Both sides took a strong hit each yet they have so far to go left. Bliss will have trouble seeing due to the mirror shot. Both are good for two.
