Froslass Revenant's Requiems

Gender: Male
Age: 18
Class: Revenant (Ice Major; Ghost Minor; Fire Weakness)

Appearance: Hawke is tall and lithe, with little muscle or fat mass on his body. The only thing that seems to have any form of muscle are his calves. His arms, legs, and back are riddled with small scars, most of them not noticeable. Those that are noticeable, however, he covers up with bandages. The bandages only stick out more due to his almost unearthly pale complexion, as if his skin was frozen. His creamy blonde hair is cut into a long, scruffy prepster cut, with his bangs almost able to reach his eyes, and a small hawktail in the back. He was born with heterochromia, with his right eye being green and the left blue. His nose is a bit small, but looks like a regularly normal nose regardless. His mouth is naturally small, and is often closed. His arms and legs also have impressions of chains within them. They all seem to lead to his back, which has a very small, pitch black tattoo of an icicle on it.

He wears a ladder shirt, cut so that it seems to only show the unscathed part of his body. Underneath the sleeve that covers his right arm, he has a tattoo sleeve that is akin to a ghastly wraith. The shirt itself is an aquamarine hue with multiple dragons on it, concealing a small black undershirt underneath. The outer shirt acts more as a barrier, while the inner one is a massive insulator. It has a collar similar to a turtleneck, but much wider. As such, his neck is completely covered. He wears light blue shorts underneath, as he hates the tightness of pants. Though, this does reveal some rather unpleasant things on his legs. Besides the bandages, the entirety of his legs are wrapped in small, purple chains. They seem to be stuck to him. Another interesting thing are two shackles around his arms that lead to... nothing. They are ethereal, made of some hard to identify alloy, and there is no key to take off. Seemless to say, it’s permanent. He wears mahogany geta on his feet.

Personality: Hawke is very withdrawn and distant. He hates human interaction and even dealing with Pokemon, and is use to himself. He does suffer from diagnosed anxiety, depression, and PTSD, causing him to usually withdraw to himself. While he is kind and sweet, the overwhelming shadow of mental paranoia lingers over him. This commonly puts out a boy who is timid, flustered, and not too keen on social interaction. It doesn’t necessarily help with the permanent attachments to his body. He does, however, seem to have a fondness for ice and snow. He would often go off on his own during the winter to just explore and play in the snow, This only amplified as he grew older.

Background: Hawke once was a happy child, such as all children. He lived a calm, peaceful life in Ecruteak city. His father often was at work in Olivine, and his mother showed him many curiosities of the world. But, even then, he was getting trapped in the web of his parent’s double lives. His father was actually a highly powerful business mogul, who used his wits and tongue to control most of the powerful people within the underground markets. His mother, on the other hand, was a sly and beautiful temptress, that was able to allure groups of men to do her disposal, causing her to become head of the Ecruteak mafia. The two married as a power couple, but both had a soft spot for their son. The Snake, the Vixen, and then the Hawk. Both knew Hawke was attentive from a very young age, and hoped to culture him into an unstoppable force to be reckoned with.

Tragedy struck when Hawke was around eight. The family was taking a private plane up to a resort in Snowpoint, (his father got recently promoted to Board of the Silph Johto Branch), and the plane supposedly crashed on the way. The world mourned the loss of the three, with them being presumed dead. In a sense, that was a half truth. The Hawke there died, but his body and mind survived. Before he could be found by authorities, he was kidnapped by the saboteurs that organized the attack. They wished to dispose of Hawke’s parents. Whether the boy lived or died didn’t matter, both benefitted them.

His kidnappers took him to an isolated, cement room in the bottom of a Snowpoint cabin. The disasters then struck, but Sinnoh suffered not nearly as bad as Kanjohto. The temperatures soon started to drop, rapidly. Hawke thought he surely was going to freeze to death, but the opposite was true. Fire, horrible abuse and torture with fire. He was never burned. The fire never touched him. But the fear, the anxiety of being burned started to get ingrained within his mind. For eight years he was locked up and chained. It was a miracle he wasn’t completely broken by the time he got the chance of freedom. One night, as if some higher power intervened, broke the shackles. The shackles and chains clung to him, but he was granted free reign, freedom. He struggled out in the middle of the night. He ran in the blizzards. He ran as far south as he could. He soon collapsed, and was found by an old witch and her Froslass. She blessed, and cursed, him with the power to go on. It became ingrained within him, on his right arm and back. The tattoos gave him the ability to persevere. As a sort of reminder to stay alive. It took him a year of travel, but he eventually managed to get back to Ecruteak.

Hawke soon went through a myriad of medical checks and exams. He was given his old house, but his family’s fortune was no longer there. He silently lived within the house, chained to his fate. Some thought he was a ghost. Others a ghoul. None of those terms were quite correct. He preferred ‘Revenant.’ Hawke felt it fitted him the best. He’s now ready to figure out what his family truly was, as the only memories he has were huge distortions to the truth. Olivine seemed to be the safest.
