The "Hey Guys, X Celebrity Died" Thread

Because clogging the forums up with all the individual threads that get activity for a couple of days and then completely buried doesn't really do any of these wonderful people any real justice, does it?

I'm sure you're wondering just what celebrity passed in order to spark this, so...

Hey Guys, Kenny Baker Died.

The man responsible for putting life into R2-D2, as well as many other roles across the years, died today as a result of a long illness.

David Huddleston, who played the Big Lebowski, died last week.

I hope, in the afterlife, he becomes Santa Claus. Because his portrayal of Santa in Santa Claus the Movie was the best I've ever seen.

Gene Wilder, THE Willy Wonka, died just a few hours ago.

I guess he wanted to view Paradise.

George Michael's dead now, because 2016 really didn't kill enough musical icons.

Jerichi 12-27-2016 12:20 PM

Carrie Fischer died. :'(

Sneaze 12-27-2016 12:39 PM

Crys 12-27-2016 08:08 PM

2016 still has a few days left.

Bet's on at least 2 more.

Sneaze 12-27-2016 08:33 PM

Oh 2017 is going to blow on celeb deaths, just like any other year. I'm just pissed about how close to home the deaths this year really seem to be in comparison to those over the past few.

RIP Carrie Fisher, she drowned in moonlight, strangled by her own bra.

kawaiiconcept 12-27-2016 11:57 PM

my thing is that the majority of these celebrities were really old
so its not that surprising
im not saying it doesn't suck
it just doesnt surprize me

Jerichi 12-28-2016 04:15 PM

George Michael and Carrie Fisher were like 56 and 60 respectively.

Snorby 12-28-2016 07:00 PM

George Michael was only 53. My dad's older than him.

Sneaze 12-28-2016 07:54 PM

...and the stroke Debbie Reynolds, Carrie's mother, had earlier today has claimed her life.

In the grand scheme of things, 50-60 is still an awfully young age to die at.

Some things in life are sad, and I have to say that is very sad.

2017 has claimed (I think) its first music legend. Chuck Berry was found dead at 90 years old today.

Sneaze 06-09-2017 01:01 PM

Glenne Headly, actress in such movies as Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, as well as the new Hulu show Future Man to start soon, was found dead last night. Cause of death has still not been declared.

I just saw him (sorta) at a con recently... I saw he was scheduled to appear at Boston Comic-Con too but was "postponed until further notice". Didn't realize his health was ailing, damn... Only been a fan for a short time, but RIP Bright Knight.

Snorby 06-10-2017 02:14 PM

RIP Adam West ;-;

EDIT EDIT: first

You could say he's Given Up.

...Yes I am appropriately ashamed of myself.
