Squad Submissions - Hidden Power/Attachables/Miscellaneous

This thread is for submission of things that are not full signatures but still require LO approval before they can be used in battle. It is to be used for changing the type of your pokémon's Hidden Power, attaching or removing badges and tokens and other miscellaneous things. The idea is that this thread be updated much faster than the Signature Approvals thread.

Once you've posted, a League Official will go through your post, approving or rejecting your pokémon.

- If your Pokémon has been approved, you may start battling with it.
- If your Pokémon has been rejected, make the adjustments that we have indicated and resubmit.

The format for pokémon in this thread is:

[Nickname]: [Level #] [Gender] [Species]
Hidden Power Type: [Type]
Attached Item: [Name]

You don't need to post full bios here.

Please post long lists of pokémon in spoiler tags.

Rules
-----
* Do not edit your post after a LO has touched it.

* The only posts allowed here are
-> changing a pokémon's Hidden Power
-> adding/removing a pokémon's attachable item
-> changing a Rotom's forme

* You do not need to post here if you are
-> Adding or removing a pokémon
-> Levelling a pokémon
-> Adding or removing a signature ability
-> Changing the gender, sexuality or physical appearance etc. of your pokémon using its bio.
-> Dealing with a signature.

Changes made in this thread are pretty much guaranteed to be accepted, but we still need you to make them here so that we can keep track. If it has been more than a week since we went through the thread, please feel free to send us a VM reminding us.

A pokémon that has not had its Hidden Power type changed will by default have a Hidden Power that is the same type as its first type (so a Charmander and a Magcargo both have a Fire typed Hidden Power). Once changed, pokémon have the type energy for a single use of Hidden Power if they don't already have a move of that type. If they do already have a move of that type, Hidden Power counts as one more for the purposes of working out how much energy the pokémon gets. If you're giving your pokémon a Hidden Power of their secondary type i.e. a Charizard with Hidden Power Flying, they get to use it as much as they like. Pokémon can only be given one Hidden Power type in this thread.

Attachable items are those which have been paid for here and selected from here. This is badges and tokens. A pokémon can only hold one attachable item at a time.

Concept 09-10-2013 11:03 AM

Quagsire and Politoed do currently have sigs, but I'm going to drop said sigs because new hidden power rules makes them redundant.

Spoiler: show
Christiaan the Politoed (Male)
Christiaan is the result of a Poliwhirl breeding with a pure-bred Ludicolo. His mother, sadly died during childbirth, and he lived in the Eterna forest, raised by the Ludicolo. As such, his upbringing was not what is typical for a Poliwag. The poor lad suffered terrible headaches from the effects of moss rock, and the training he received didn't exactly seem fitting for a water type.
Hidden Power: Grass
No sig.

Alexander the Blastoise (Male)
Alexander used to be the chief battler of a water gym leader, twenty years ago. His battle strategy consisted of "ignore incoming attacks, approach opponent, beat until broken". This worked pretty well. He's been in semi retirement for almost two decades, but has come out of it again as a favour to me. He helped a lot during my tenure as Mozz's gym trainer (being one of the few pokemon that seemed to like Mozz rules), and now is an invaluble addition to my gym squad.
Hidden Power: Ground
Special Training: Grounded (Ground)
Alexander fought a lot electric types during his time in the old water gym. In combination with his long term exposure to the Mozz badge during my time under Mozz (oh, that just sounds wrong), he's gained an odd effect - his ground type energy pool is twice the size of a regular Blastoise's. In exchange, when sent out he must pick two types that would be eligible for Mozz badgification (ie that he has between one and four offensive moves of - eligible types are steel, psychic, bug, dragon and rock). He loses all type energy of these types for the duration of the match. This drawback cannot be negated or lessened in any way, regardless of the effects of badges/moves/etc.

Old Rosie the Quagsire (Female)
My Quagsire is excessively annoying. I only keep her around because she's useful.
Hidden Power: Ground
No sig.

The Inevitable Scizor (Female)
Scizor is a total badass, cold and aloof and all those stereotypically Scizor-like things. So long as she's kept clear of fire, she can clear our pretty much any enemy. Most of the rest of my squad don't like her overly much, as they think she's a cold hearted bitch, an image she works hard to maintain. However, she does have one major soft spot - Toy Story. She genuinely cried her eyes out and the end of the third one. Her favourite character is Buzz Lightyear. My Volbeat (being the sly, sneaky bastard he is) discovered all this, and started mocking her for being unable to fly as well as him, by using his flight skills to keep away from her and mocking her with the phrase "That wasn't flying, that was just falling with style!"
Needless to say, Scizor is not amused.
Hidden Power: Electric
Special Training: To Infinity, and Beyond! (XX)
Training herself hard to catch the impudent Volbeat and put an end to his mocking permanantly, Scizor has improved her flight capabilities back to the level she had as a Scyther.

Fleetwood the Furret (Male)
Fleetwood is a pretty cool, laid back dude who only takes off his signature sunglasses to battle. His preferred fighting style is very dependant on his tail.
Hidden Power: Ground
Signature Move: Omnitail (Various)
Furret hits his opponent with his tail, which is charged with energy. Omnitail can be of any type of which Furret has access to an offensive (ie direct damage dealing) move of. It takes the energy and deals the damage of iron tail, except of whatever type it currently is. No more than two uses of any one type per match, and no more than three uses total per match.

Echo Falls the Feebas (Female)
Being constantly ridiculed for being so ugly, Echo Falls has become evil and manipulative.
Hidden Power: Dragon
Signature Move: Feignt (XX)
Once per match, Echo Falls may pretend to faint. How convincing this is depends on the circumstances - if she's very low on health or energy this will have a high success rate, whilst if she's fresh no-one will be fooled. It will also be more successful if something has just happened that could conceivably make her faint (taking damage or using energy). If the opposing pokemon is convinced, the match proceeds as if she had fainted, which can have effects including but not necessarily limited to (in case I missed something that happens when a pokemon faints) the following;
1) Pokemon will no longer deliberately target her (in doubles).
2) The round will end (in singles).

Dave: Hidden Powers approved

Mercutio 09-10-2013 11:07 AM

Man I am glad these changes aren't retroactive.

Slash 09-10-2013 01:03 PM

All sigs posted are in current approved form.

Spoiler: show
Wrath: Spiritomb: Lv 1 (M)
Hidden Power Type: Fighting

Vulgina: Vullaby Lv 1 (F)
Hidden Power Type: Rock

Mudpuppy: Marshtomp Lv 2 (M)
Mudpuppy loves to roll around in the mud and make messes. He doesn't care that it's dirty, because it's just so much fun!
Hidden Power Type: Ground
Sig: Special Technique: Mud Suit (GROUND)
Expending decent Ground energy, Mudpuppy can secrete a bit of mud from his pores to create a semisolid mud armor. This will absorb physical impact and reduce damage from physical moves for two turns, by about the same extent as Harden. This wears off after two full rounds have passed since usage, or it gets washed off him by a water move (not just a Water-type move, but one that uses actual water). This is usable twice per battle.

Kairne: Dewott Lv 2 (M)
Kairne is, of course, named for his trainer. He is gifted in the art of the battle fan, having learned from the best masters in the world.
It started when Kairne was a young otter, just growing up. He was a bit of an anime geek, or an otterku. Now, as you cringe with the force of that pun, I'll explain a little better.
He watched a lot of sword-related anime, but, although it was nice, it just wasn't striking home for him. Dragonair Ball and, to a lesser extent, Dragonair Ball Z, were fun for him, particularly due to the versatility of the Power Pole and how well the protagonist used it, not just for offense, but for defense as well. Still, it just wasn't hitting home.
Robotech didn't pique his interests, either. He was never a fan of flying, and he never saw the charm of lasers.
Still, through this anime, he did grow a love for weapons, particularly those that could be used defensively. When he grew old enough for a weapon of his own, he went to a weapon smith and took a look at the stock. There, he found something beautiful, something he would never forget: a set of battle fans.
These were expensive, far too much for him to spend. But he looked at them whenever he went there, longingly.
At this time, he sought out training, and he found a proper sensei. He was able to find one that could teach him the art of the fan, and he grew with it quickly, learning first how to use one in his right hand, and then in his off-hand, and finally how to wield two at once. It was around this time he evolved, and this made him all the better at it.
He was too hard on his natural scalchops, however, and he knew he had to obtain another pair, lest they break on him. He found a helpful Kabutops and a generous pair of Shellder. The Shellder shed their shells, and Kairne worked with the Kabutops to clean, carve, shape, and sharpen these new, purple scalchops. These were much more sturdy, and they helped him gain an even greater mastery of the skill, having bonded with them due to working so hard on them. Still, he continues to fight and train, as he always will.
Hidden Power: Fighting
Sig: Special Training: Battle Fan
Kairne's mastery of the battle fan has caused a couple changes to his battling style. For one, his scalchops are more sturdy and slightly wider (and purple!), making him better at blocking attacks with them, and he is much less likely to drop them in the process. He also gains access to Reversal, Psycho Cut, and Leaf Blade, with the energy to use the each twice per battle. However, he loses access to Revenge, Aerial Ace, Aqua Tail, and Encore. His Ice energy has taken a bit of a hit, now only being sufficient to fuel two Ice Beams (1.2 HB for those who do it to the number), and he loses all of his Ice moves other than Ice Beam. He can never evolve, and is considered fully evolved from a damage and energy standpoint.

Peridot: Blastoise Lv 4 (M)
Peridot is a light green (alternate-coloured) Wartortle. He naturally has a harder shell than most of his species, or at least he thinks so.
He also became obsessed with my torrented Digimon episode collection. In particular, he has a lot of appreciation for Zudomon, who seems to be "Zeus meets Thor meets turtle". Because of all the Zudo-exposure, he created a move inspired by his ultimate attack.
Hidden Power: Rock
Sig: Special Attack: Voltage Hammer (Electric)
Peridot strikes the earth, making an arc of Electricity jump from his hand and strike the foe. The can also be used in a DC version, where he strikes the foe directly, pouring the Electric energy into them directly. Both versions do heavy Electric damage for heavy Electric energy, and he has the type energy for two uses. This comes at the cost of Zap Cannon.

Rut: Emboar Lv 4 (M)
Rut likes to stuff himself a lot, and has bulked up considerably because of it. He not only eats, however, but he also works out. In general, he does all he can to gain body mass.
Hidden Power: Ground
Sig: Special Training: Body Mass
Rut is considered to weigh 1.5x his normal mass for all moves that take that into account (both ones he uses, and ones used against him).

Andrias: Charizard Lv 4 (M) (black, with silver flames)
Spoiler: show
Have you ever heard of the Chinese legend of the Dragon's Gate? The legend is as such: if a special carp known as Yulong are able to swim up a large, challenging waterfall on the Huang He, or Yellow River, cascading from a large mountain, the will be rewarded for their efforts as they reach the top, being transformed into Dragons. This legend is not exclusive to the region, and many different places in China have the same general legend, oftentimes located on different river. Many believe this myth came about due to Magikarp's evolution to Gyarados, which has actually been documented in some areas as being similar, with mass migrations of Magikarp evolving after climbing a large waterfal. According to Andrias, however, Magikarp only achieved this through the inspiration they received long ago from a different species of Pokemon. Namely, an order of Charmander as old as dragons themselves, who were actually able to become dragons through a similar trial.
As his story goes, the tribe of Charmander lived in the shadow of a volcano, which had a molten river of lava cascading from the peak, down to the base. Certain members born to this tribe were born different, with black scales. These were said to be gifted with the ability to climb the lava to achieve their full potential. These chosen ones would have to trek for miles through a river of lava (the first test), before passing over a virtual obstacle course of jutting sharp rocks where the cascade "breaks", sharpened by many years of erosion and hardened with cooled lava (the second test), before half-swimming, half-climbing up many metres of the almost vertical "falls" of lava, stiff rife with chunks of thick rock, to reach the top and achieve his full potential (the final test).
The first test was one of stamina. A slow but steady hike is difficult. This was infinitely so, as he had to walk through a medium several times thicker than molasses, against a current. Any stop to catch his breath or rest his sore, tired arms and legs threatened to push him backwards and cause him to lose both his footing and his momentum. He knew to pace himself at first, but he was going so slow he was barely making any headway. Still, he suffered through it, and he made it almost to the end before stumbling. He was forced back a couple metres before he could regain his footing, and was barely able to finish that test and clear the main river and start to climb the rocks.
He was able to get a quick rest there, the challenge shifting from one of stamina to one of balance. He had to deftly step from stone to stone, being careful not to slip on the smoothness of the rocks or get impaled on the sharp edges. It took balance with all four of his limbs for the Charmander to get past it, using his claws to grip the smooth surfaces as best he could. He slipped slightly a couple times, but never fell onto the dangerous rocks, finally making it past and clearing the second test.
Onto the third test, which is a test of speed and dexterity. Luckily, Andrias was always good in this regard, more gifted than the others in his tribe. Still, it took everything he had to get to the top. He managed to get there without being knocked down, which was good, as below still lie the rocks from the second test, a constant reminder that this was extremely dangerous and that it was almost certain death if he failed. He got to the top, and subsequently passed out. When he awoke, sore as he was, he felt much stronger. In front of his very eyes, he saw his tail flame lighten and lose colouration, before taking on a silvery hue. He felt much stronger than before, and he knew that because he was able to clear this obstacle, he'd be able to do anyting he set his mind to.

Hidden Power: Flying
ig: Special Training/Type Change (Dragon): Through the Fire and Flames
Andrias is now a Fire/Dragon type, which will carry on even through evolution (the Dragon type replacing the Flying type as a Charizard). His Dragon Pulse is considered to have a 10% burn chance. However, he loses access to Double-Edge, Counter, Iron Tail, Focus Punch, Dragon Dance, Metal Claw, Rage, and Fury Cutter. He also never learned Blast Burn or Giga Impact. He also now takes neutral damage from Fire attacks, and is only slightly harder to burn than a regular non-Fire type, due to the long-term damage from the lava (Fire/Dragon).

Penelo: Empoleon Lv 4 (F) (uplevel)
Penelo is a young woman, as well a pirate of the skies. She has focused a lot of time and energy into her personal craft, and prides herself on being a fantastic dancer. Incorporating this into her battling skills was quite fun for her, as it gives her the ability to practice both at once.
Hidden Power: Flying
Sig: Special Attack: Blade Dance (STEEL)
Penelo slashes at the foe with both her claw-arms, twirling a dance as she strikes. She does two strikes of good Steel damage each on the foe, for good Steel energy each, totaling major Steel damage for major Steel energy. Each hit that connects has, independently, a 15% chance of raising her Attack slightly (similar to a Howl's Attack boost). She may not use this move as part of a three-mover, however, and she loses access to Signal Beam and Hydro Pump, as she is more of a close-range fighter.

Raz'r: Ivysaur Lv 2 (M)
Raz'r is actually quite the cool-headed sort, not the first to jump into a battle, as his name may seem to imply. No, his name comes from an ability he perfected for himself, a way to utilise his vines in a more offensive capacity.
Hidden Power: Steel
Sig: Special Attack: Raz'r Whip (STEEL)
Raz'r sends out his whip vines to strike the foe, similar to a strike with Power Whip. However, when using this technique, the vines have sharp blades of solidified Steel energy on them, which tear into the foe. This technique deals significant Steel damage for significant Steel energy, and has a 20% chance to inflict standard Poison upon the foe. It can only poison foes who do not have hard shells/bodies that get hit (such as Cloyster and Torkoal), although if shelled Pokémon get hit on their softer skin, they may get poisoned just the same. Raz'r has the energy to use this move twice per battle.

Lemon: Watchog Lv 3 (M)
Lemon uses his keen eyesight to give him an edge in battle. He has set out to master stay one step ahead of the game using this attribute of his.
Hidden Power: Psychic
Sig: Special Training: Second Sight
Lemon has learned Glare and Extrasensory, but has forgotten Thunder.

Segundo: Ariados Lv 4 (M) [blue]
Segundo has seen a lot more use by me lately, possibly due to him being totally awesome. He's wanted to live up to that role even more, so he has eaten a lot of poisonous stuff to jack up the power of his poison stuff.
Hidden Power: Ground
Sig: Special Technique: SUPER Toxic Spikes (Poison)
Using the same level of energy as Stealth Rock, Segundo creates balls of Poison energy which hit the foe, before receding into the ground. Like Stealth Rock, they will strike all opponent's Pokemon when they enter the field, using the same mechanic as Stealth Rock. However, this does not do any damage. Instead, it will give them Toxic poisoning, which will soak into their bloodstream completely at the end of the next round. Pokemon immune to getting poisoned will still get hit, but they won't take any effect from it. These are clearable by the same methods as Stealth Rock is.

Onsalaught: Nidorino Lv 4 (M) [alternate coloured - brown]
Hidden Power: Ground

Professor Leach: Eelektrik Lv 4 (M)
Professor Leach is a well-educated, cultured individual.
Hidden Power: Water
Sig: Special Training: Rigorous Study
Professor Leach may now use Secret Power and Ice Beam, the latter of which he has the energy for two uses, but loses Zap Cannon and U-Turn.

Quicksilver: Beartic Lv 4 (M) [purple]
Quicksilver was a rare little sight I found in the Deacon Valley, living under the tyranny of an abusive Beartic father, in need of a real family and a real home. I took him in, and he and I grew close. The Deacon Valley was a wet place, with a lot of rainfall but not a lot of snow potential, the temperature never getting quite there. This I found out from the little one over frozen margaritas, for which he has quite the taste. Apparently, he had lived in that horrid place for awhile, almost forgetting that he was indeed an Ice Pokemon. Despite his best efforts, however, the place stuck with him. It lives on in his memory, and in his daily life, his wet paws a constant reminder of the place from which he can never entirely leave. Like most of his species, he has the icicle hanging from his nose, being there to use for Water and Ice moves, but his is always a little wetter, it seems, and he knows that the Deacon Valley has again started to haunt him every time he feels it.
The Deacon Valley was a droll place, where the rain was nigh-eternal and flash floods rose up in an instant. It was wet but just warm enough to keep the water from sleeting. It was an overall uncomfortable place for an Ice-type like Quicksilver. The Pokemon who sired him just seemed to enjoy the constant wetness, and his mother could never bring herself to raise objection, so for many years, Quicksilver endured the wetness. For a long time, wetness is all he knew, the damp, wet environment overwhelming his emotions. Years of his life were hell, and he barely survived with his mind. Wetness is all he knew, but now, the greatest wetness he knows is his tears of remembrance. And though he hates it, his past will forever be a part of him, the constant reminder in just the wetness of his paws.
His tears were a motivator for him, and he did his best to power up and train, to be able to better protect himself, so he'd never have to be in a place like that every again. He fought hard, and came to a realisation of power.
Hidden Power: Water
Sig: Special Training: Watering the Present With Tears of the Past
Since Ice freezes Water, Quicksilver's Ice moves are now super effective against the water type. However, Grass- and Bug-types now resist his Ice moves, as he doesn't like to hurt nature. He loses access to Focus Punch and SuperPower.

Raimundo: Nuzleaf Lv 2 (M)
Raimundo is the Xiaolin Dragon of Wind, and leader of the four Xiaolin warriors. Always lagging behind early on, he was never quite as focused on training as his peers. However, he did show the occasional bout of sheer brilliance when he did apply himself to the tasks at hand, outshining the other three combined. When he was still a young monk, his temple was under attack, and their sensei, Master Fung, ordered them to run and hide. The four complied, but the overwhelming sense of duty in Rai's heart made him return to the temple to make an attempt to save his Master's life. In doing so, however, an evil Heylin witch entered his mind and extracted the information of where the other monks were hiding with their magical artifacts. Her and her champion pursued the monks, seeking the magic items, but his friends were able to save the day before anything too bad happened anyway. For his strong sense of honour and his kind heart, Raimundo was kept at the level of a monk-in-training, whilst his peers became superiors, rising to the level of Xiaolin Apprentice.
Due mainly to this, and the manipulations of the aforementioned witch, Rai defected to the Heylin side, stealing the magical artifacts needed to give the witch her full powers back, in exchange for everything he ever wanted. He soon found it lonely at the top, however, and when his friends refused to bow to the Heylin witch, even in the face of death, he trapped her in a magic puzzle box, setting right what had once gone wrong, and taking back his place as the Dragon of Wind, in training. As a Xiaolin monk, his greatest quality is his kindness.
Later, he earned his Apprentice stripes, by mastering his elemental control. Together with his friends, they overcame obstacles and all three as one became Wudai Warriors.
During a quest to reveal who would become leader of the four, one of his friends created a timey-wimey effect that made the world worse, not better, but both the bad future timeline, and the alternate present one, Raimundo was proven most capable of being a true leader, and earned his position, a full-fledged Xiaolin Dragon of the Wind.
Hidden Power: Flying
Sig: Special Training: Wudai Star: Wind
Raimundo gains access to Leaf Tornado, Gust, Hurricane, and DragonBreath, and he has the type energy for each off-type to use the most powerful move listed of that type twice (Flying and Dragon). As well, his and Defog and Whirlwind techniques work slightly better. In exchange for this increase, however, he loses quite a bit. He loses access to Explosion, Synthesis, Bide, Foul Play, Leech Seed, Double-Edge, Shadow Ball, Self-Destruct, and Rock Tomb. His Dark energy pool has also shrunk because of his dedication to the side of good, and, despite being a Dark-type, he only has a familiarity with Dark-typed moves (~2 Hyper Beams worth). He no longer resists the Dark type, so he doesn't underestimate its power.

Cyrus: Klang Lv 2
Cyrus is a gear, most obviously. Probably most well known for having an off-type movepool second only to Lilligant in sheer uselessness, Cyrus sought to remedy that, the only way he knew how. Drawing upon his steampunk heritage, he learned all he could about different ways of creating electrical power, and he found ways to use those to his advantage.
Hidden Power: Ground
Sig: Special Attack: Gear Throw (Varies)
Cyrus creates several small, solid gears out of energy and flings them at the foe, in a move similar to Rock Blast or Stone Edge. This move does considerable damage for considerable energy. This move can be of a few different types, those being Fire, Water, and Grass, due to his extensive studying of geothermal power, steam power, and burning wood as fuel sources. He has the energy to use each type twice per battle, and it has a total usage limit of four times in any one battle, regardless of type used. However, due to the time spent learning about all those different energy sources, he never learned Signal Beam, Lock-On, Zap Cannon, Toxic, and Gravity.

Remus: Throh Lv 2 (M)
Named for the brother of Romulus, who died before the founding of Rome but was nevertheless a mighty man and son of Mars, Remus fell in love with the myths as much as you could imagine. From Remus' mythological background, Remus the Throh came up with his own special ability, calling upon the fire of Mars as an influence.
Hidden Power: Fire
Sig: Special Training: Armor of Mars
Remus's skin is slightly hot, due to training dedicated to a deity of fire. This makes him harder to freeze, and he can be painful to be in contact with for a significant amount of time, possibly even causing a burn after a few seconds (or worse, if contact is held for longer), similar to Magmar, only less severe. He can now use Flame Charge. However, he loses access to Ice Punch and Rain Dance.

Dreama: Musharna Lv 4 (F)
Dreama isn't fond of the fact that every Psychic-type Generation IV and earlier has a much better offensive movepool than her. She decided to do something about this, and traveled to Kanto to learn their secrets. She learned niche moves that few Psychics get, just so she could have a random collection of off-type moves.
Hidden Power Type: Rock
Sig: Special Training: Kanto Power
Dreama has learned BubbleBeam, Ice Beam, and Flamethrower, with the energy to use each twice per battle. However, she never learned Shadow Ball from Jhoto, Imprison from Hoenn, Charge Beam from Sinnoh, or Synchronoise from Unova.

Azurill Lv 1 (F)
Hidden Power Type: Ground

Jigglypuff Lv 2 (M)
Hidden Power Type: Ground

Eevee Lv 1 (M) [shiny]
Hidden Power Type: Ground

Mawile Lv 1 (F)
Hidden Power Type: Grass

Snubbull Lv 1 (M)
Hidden Power Type: Fire

Shellos Lv 1 (M) (East Sea)
Hidden Power Type: Ground

Ralts Lv 1 (M)
Hidden Power Type: Ghost

Right then. Might as well do this all in one fell swoop. New stuff in italics for ease of reference.

Spoiler: show
Anasazi: Male Dusknoir (level 5) (level-up)
Biography: Anasazi is the ghost of a deceased tribal chief, known for his unrelenting war tactics and brutal power. His entire tribe was massacred and his land razed in the dead of night by another tribe, himself included. He holds a connection to the rest of his tribe that allows him to shift into their plane of existence with great effort.
Hidden Power: Bug
Special Training: True Power
Anasazi can use Shadow Force once per match. Anasazi no longer benefits from fighting more enthusiatically at night, as most Ghosts do. Additionally, he is considered weak to Fire type moves, and can no longer use any Fire type moves. His connection to other spirits means that he does not have full control over his own being, let alone having control over that of others, and as such can no longer use Curse, Pain Split, or Destiny Bond.
Smoke Badge Attached

Creed: Male Gengar (level 5) (level-up)
Biography: Creed is the most underhanded thing in existance, I'm pretty sure. He spends most of his time training to perfect the ways of dirty fighting. Obviously this means that he had to up his Dark movepool a bit since most dirty tricks fall into such an energy type.
Hidden Power: Water
Special Training: Underhanded
Creed is now familiar with Dark energy.

Virendra: Female Haunter (level 4)
Biography: Virendra was once a warlord, victor of countless battles, and known to defeat her opponents with her bare hands if she needed to. Her death was a swift and unjust one, ambushed as she was attending a duel, and slaughtered mercilessly, though not without a fight. It is because of this she cannot stand unsporting tactics, and will not even change out of solid form, always apting for a fair fight. Virenda is white, and her eyes are entirely light blue, as is the inside of her mouth.
Hidden Power: Dragon
Special Training: For Glory
Virendra cannot use Sucker Punch, Disable, Spite, Trick, Toxic, Venoshock, Taunt, Torment, Swagger, Thief, or Snatch, as she considers them unsporting. Virendra will not change out of solid form at any time. Virendra cannot evolve, but is considered fully evolved from the standpoint of energy and health levels. Virendra also gains Rock Smash, Brick Break, Dynamic Punch, and Focus Punch, being used to fighting with her bare hands, and has as much Fighting energy as a Water type would have Ice energy.

Miss Missy Miss: Female Mismagius (level 4)
Biography: Miss Missy Miss has always taken joy in staying awake for days on end, and I could never figure out as to why. After quite a while I determined that this problem was because she couldn't relax when it was time to sleep, disturbed by all the commotion around her. It was at this point when I got her a white noise machine, and she hasn't had a problem relaxing ever since. In fact, she liked the white noise so much that she would just start letting out sounds of her own to mock it, calming herself down in the process.
Hidden Power: Fighting
Special Training: White Noise
Whenever Miss Missy Miss uses Screech, she is benefitted with the same boosts associated with a Calm Mind. Her Screech attacks now use 25% more energy, and may only be used twice per match. Also, because she respects how difficult it is to get sleep sometimes, she will not purposely use damaging attacks against sleeping opponents, and has foregone her learning of Nightmare and Dream Eater.

Keaira: Female Sableye (level 4)
Biography: Keiara, being a Sableye, has always had a deep connection to the shadows around her. Inspired by her abilities involving shadows, Keira decided to go under training to use shadows further to her advantage, forming a strong attack out of them.
Hidden Power: Flying
Special Attack: Totally Not Shadowball (Ghost/Dark)
Keiara draws shadows around her into a ball of energy which she then hurls at the target for extreme damage. If the arena is very dark, the charge time will be reduced slightly, but if there is very little shadow to draw from, it will take longer, at ref's discretion. Obviously if for whatever reason there are no shadows about, the attack is unusuable. This attack takes extreme energy, and can be used twice per battle, once as a Ghost type attack, and once as a Dark type attack. Charge time in an average arena is just over that of a Hyper Beam.

Imogen: Female Jellicent (level 4)
Biography: Imogen spent her entire life in a dark, haunted bog, filled with rotting corpses and fouled water. The lack of a proper clean water source meant that almost everything around her was mud, so naturally she picked up a few moves from the local inhabitants.
Hidden Power: Fighting
Special Training: Eeeeeewwww...
Imogen can use Mud Shot, Mud Sport, and Muddy Water. However, due to the lack of a clean water source where she once lived, Imogen can no longer use Water Sport, BubbleBeam, Rain Dance, Absorb, Surf, or Waterfall.

R-66Y aka "Robo": Genderless Golett (level 4)
Bio: R-66Y hails from a time period from the distant future, brought back by crazy science magic portals or whatever. His parts were in disrepair when found, and had to be replaced - save for one thing - his optic sensors. These advanced optics allow him to see weaknesses that his opponent may be trying to cover up, thus allowing him to exploit them.
Hidden Power: Grass
Special Training: Analyze
Any moves used by R-66Y do not have their type effectiveness modifiers changed by sigs that would otherwise effect them. This goes both ways, meaning that a normally super effective move made neutral, or simply weakened, would still do full damage, however an immunity made neutral would remain immune, and so on. Thus, a Scizor sigged to take 300% damage from Fire attacks would still take the normal 400%, and a Lucario sigged to take 100% damage from Steel attacks would still take the normal 50%. R-66Y cannot use Double Team, Substitute, Protect, Safeguard, or Magic Coat.

Perdita: Female Drifblim (level 4)
Biography: Perdita loves nothing more than to float about happily in the sky, but she just doesn't like it when people try to bring he down. Inspired by Swords Dance and Reflect, she has created a way to attempt to stop this from happening.
Hidden Power: Ground
Special Defense: Spin Sphere (Ghost)
Perdita spins quickly in place why producing Ghost energy, causing a swirling sphere to appear around her. This sphere will bounce orbs and rocks back in the exact direction from which they came, with slightly reduced power. Any other moves that hit the sphere are harmlessly nulled a la Protect. Energy use is equal to that of Reflect, and Spin Sphere may only be used once per battle.

Gashka: Genderless Rotom (level 4)
Bio: Gashka decided that unlike others of her species she would not possess appliances to gain power, and instead focused on her Ghostly ways, more precisely, mixing them with her Electric prowess to neutralize certain electrical fields.
Hidden Power: Ice
Special Training: Neutralize
Gashka’s plasma is specially tuned to the electrical fields of moves and Pokeballs in such a way that any move such as Stealth Rock, which would normally place itself around the field after hitting and await the next change in an electrical field that is produced by a new Pokemon switching in, instead has its tuning removed. This causes the move to become completely useless after striking Gashka, just sitting around the arena where they normally would, and not striking upon Pokemon switching. This applies both to moves that are used on Gashka first and to moves that have been sitting in the arena and strike Gashka when she switches in. Gashka can no longer use Volt Switch.

Sybil: Female Shuppet (level 1)
Bio: Sick of being a controlled puppet, Sybil strived to reverse her role. Her extensive training has given her better control of her telekinetic abilities.
Hidden Power: Bug
Special Training: Puppet Master
Sybil's Disable, Psychic, and Telekinesis require less focus than normal to be used, and when fully focused can be used with higher accuracy and proficiency than normal. Both of these effects are subject to ref's discretion. The wave form of Psychic is unaffected by this extra training.

Azura: Female Litwick (level 1)
Bio: Preferring to fight at night, Azura suffers from her Fire attacks, among other things, never being able to be affected by the brightened sun. As such, she has learned to use the sun's reflection on the moon as well as the light from the distant stars in the same manner as the sun itself.
Hidden Power: Fighting
Special Training: Azura's Star
Azura can use any moves that would normally require sunlight at night as though the sun itself was still out, however Sunny Day must first be in effect either by use of the move or through simulation in the arena. Azura can no longer use Flash, Haze, or Embargo.

Neuge: Female Froslass (level 4)
Bio: New to her ghostly form, Neuge seeks to bring others to the same sad state as herself.
Hidden Power: Fighting
Special Training: Death's Cold Embrace
When Neuge passes through something or something passes through her while she is in Ethereal form, a thin layer of ice will form over the surface of whatever she "touched". While easy enough to break off that most Pokemon will be unhindered by it, even after breaking off the ice will make Pokemon not used to the cold feel chilled and cause their actions to be slower as if they were effected by the secondary effects of an Icy Wind.

Cleo: Female Cofagrigus (level 3)
Bio: The soul of the queen of Egypt reborn, Cleo is constantly attempting to extend her reign, and is willing to cripple anyone who stands in her way to do so.
Hidden Power: Ice
Special Training: Bow To Me
Cleo can use Zap Cannon once per match.

Pandora: Female Spiritomb (level 1)
Bio: One hundred and eight spirits, each a mischievous soul trying to escape their prison. Will you be the one to open the box?
Hidden Power: Flying
Special Training: Pandora's Box
Upon being knocked out due to loss of health, the foe that knocked Pandora out will become cursed. This curse causes the affected Pokemon to be slightly more vulnerable to attacks for the next few rounds, typically wearing off after a full three rounds, with the effects reducing the opponent's defenses in the same amount as a Cosmic Power would raise them. Pandora must have at least a Major amount of energy remaining upon being knocked out in order for this effect to take place.

Sage: Genderless Shedinja (level 2)
Bio: The roots of your life... I will suck them dry... Then you will become a lifeless husk like me...
Hidden Power: Water
Special Attack: Life Drain (Bug)
Sage shoves its back into the face of its opponent, using a Significant amount of Bug energy to deal Solid Bug damage to the foe, draining half of the damage done to heal Sage. This move may only be used twice per match, and if both uses are used on the same opponent, the amount of health regained during the second use will decrease to one third of the damage dealt.

Tuan: Male Rapidash (level 4)
Biography: Tuan's coat is a pure white, with swirling dark purple flames and bright yellow eyes. Dispite the demonic appearance, however, Tuan is actually a decendant of the guardians of the underworld. As his bloodline was meant to protect against demons and their ilk, his flames carry an odd attribute to them.
Hidden Power: Fighting
Special Training: Purging Flame
Tuan's flame based attacks are filled with purging energy, causing them to turn a dark purple. These flames deal extra damage against Dark and Ghost types, which would be considered super effective damage, however they are not meant for use of those of good stature, and as such do half damage against Normal and Fighting type Pokemon. All attacks that fall under this description also cost 25% more energy than they normally would. These modifiers do not stack beyond a single super effective modifier with eachother or the normal effectiveness chart, and thus any Dark/Ghost, Bug/Ghost, Grass/Dark, etc. will only take damage as though they were effected by a single super effective modifier.

Michi: Female Zebstrika (level 4)
Biography: The black parts of Michi's coat are a light blue. This gives her a slightly heavenly appearance. Because of this, she has spent her life training to be able to channel righteous energy into her attacks.
Hidden Power: Flying
Special Training: Righteous Bolt
Michi's electricity based attacks (Thunderbolt, Wild Charge, Shock Wave, etc. but not Hidden Power or anything else that would be an orb, beam or similar) are filled with righteous energy, causing them to turn a bright blue. This electricity deals extra damage against Dark and Ghost types, which would be considered super effective damage, however they are not meant for use of those of good stature, and as such do half damage against Normal and Fighting type Pokemon. All attacks that fall under this description also cost 25% more energy than they normally would. These modifiers do not stack beyond a single super effective modifier with eachother or the normal effectiveness chart, and thus any Dark/Ghost, Water/Ghost, Flying/Dark, etc. will only take damage as though they were effected by a single super effective modifier.

Maxim: Male Machamp (level 4)
Bio: Maxim has a slight problem with his belt. This problem is that he doesn't like the fact that it only has two settings. So what did he do? He tried to "crank it up to 11". Unfortunately that didn't quite work and he just ended up breaking it. So instead he decided to attempt to crank up the power of any boosts he lays upon himself. Though they have to rely on Maxim's "protective" nature.
Hidden Power: Ghost
Special Training: MAXED OUT!
Any boosting move Maxim uses that boosts his Defense, or Speed grants an extra bonus to that stat of roughly 25% that of the original boost itself, and uses 25% more energy. Maxim cannot adjust the settings on his belt at any time. Any boost to Maxim's Special Attack or Special Defense only grants 75% that of the normal boost.

Amelia: Female Noctowl (level 4)
Biography: Amelia is a wise and courageous Noctowl, often offering sage advice to those who need it. It is her firm belief that any battle can be won if you push yourself to your limit and beyond, and it is this belief that she instills in her teammates.
Hidden Power: Rock
Special Training: Stand and Fight!
Once per match, in any match that Amelia has a battle partner, should her partner be knocked out due to running out of health, the partner will instead remain conscious, but only with enough health that they will be knocked out with even the lightest of blows. This effect does not occur if the partner would be knocked out due to energy loss or via Destiny Bond and the like.

Omega: Genderless Unown O (level 4)
Biography: Unowns have existed since a time long past. Omega has spent all of its life focusing itself and training its inner strength. Through this training it has learned to properly use all types of energy, and trained to act as if it were multiple Unowns. However, due to lack of being in actual battles, Omega is incredibly easily worn out.
Hidden Power: Various
Special Training: One Letter Alphabet
Omega is proficient with all energy types, and can use Hidden Power of all energy types. Omega can also use Double Team, and the clones created by Omega's Double Team can use any type of Hidden Power without disappearing. Omega uses energy at twice the rate of any other Unown of its level.

Brutus: Male Marowak (level 4)
Biography: Brutus is well... a brute. He loves getting up close and personal with his opponents, but this obviously means that Flying Pokemon are even more of a bane to him than normal. While he did know how to hit them at a distance, nothing really seemed to... shake them the way he liked to throw off the enemies that were rooted to the ground. He was inspired by the idea that the energy from Earthquake could be transfered directly into an enemy to shake them up, and decided to tweak it to work with his bone, and his ability to throw it.
Hidden Power: Dragon
Special Attack: 'Quake 'Rang (Ground)
Brutus charges Ground energy into his bone before throwing it as he would a Bonemerang. The bone shakes violently as it travels through the air, the Ground energy working as a direct contact Earthquake on the bone. When the bone strikes an object, usually the opponent, it transfers the energy into it, shaking it violently like a direct contact Earthquake was used on them. The bone does not return to Brutus as it would if it were a Bonemerang, however, as the shaking makes it impossible to throw it on such a course. The attack does damage of about .9x that of a direct contact Earthquake, using energy about 1.1x that of a direct contact Earthquake. This move can be used twice a battle.

Angeli: Female Blissey (level 4)
Biography: Angeli was given to me by a retired Nurse Joy. Angeli does not like fighting and will try to calm her opponent immediately upon entering battle. She emits a faint glow that soothes others.
Hidden Power: Steel
Special Training: Pretty Pink Glow!
Angeli utilizes calm and soothing energy to constantly emit a faint pink glow. The glow will take any Pokemon out of states of aggresiveness, such as having been Taunted or having gone berserk. Also, Angeli is unnaffected by moves that would attempt to anger her. If a Pokemon has already become calmed without the effects of Angeli's glow, then there is a 10% chance of putting that Pokemon to sleep. As a result of her passive nature, Angeli will not use the moves Frustration, Rage (at higher evolutions), or Swagger. Angeli expends energy equal to about one and a half Attracts per turn in order to maintain this glow.

Victoria: Female Furret (level 4)
Biography: Victoria loves the attacks Fire Punch, Ice Punch, and Thunder Punch, however, she dislikes the fact that she can only use two of them per round, so she has combined the three for the Ultimate Punch attack.
Hidden Power: Dragon
Special Attack: Ultimate Punch (Normal)
Victoria takes Ice, Fire, and Electric energy that would normally be used for the elemental punches and combines it all into one big punch, this attack does damage slightly lower than Hyper Beam with energy usage about the same as Hyper Beam, this attack has a 5% chance of partial freezing, a 5% chance of causing a burn, and a 5% chance of partial paralysis. This attack can only be used twice per battle.

Ismene: Female Gardevoir (level 4)
Biography: Ismene was a happy-go-lucky little thing as a young Ralts. She would always dance about in the most cheerful way, likely due to looking forward to her evolution into a Kirlia in the not-so-distant future. She brought joy to those around her like the beauty of a sunset after a hard day's work. But alas, her joyous youth was taken from her. One fateful evening Ismene found herself prancing about in the field just outside of her family's dwelling. It was a normal day, all in all, until a frightening roar sent terror through her spine. And with that terror came crippling pain, as she found herself flung into a tree, a crazed Tyranitar on the loose having found her out on her own and thought to make her its dinner. The second she hit the tree was as though all of her nerves shouted out in pain and were suddenly silenced. She found herself concious only through the adrenaline of the moment, but unable to pick herself up and flee, he spine snapped in two. Fortunately for her a rampaging Tyranitar is somewhat hard to miss, unless your a young child not paying attention to the world, I suppose, and her mother came to her rescue. The Tyranitar and her mother proceeded to engage in a full blown battle of epic proportions, and by the end of it, the Tyranitar was broken and beaten, barely even concious. Her mother carried her home, leaving the beast to wander, having calmed it's rampage for now. Many attempts were made at healing Ismene's spine since then, but none succeeded. Ismene would be paralyzed from the waist down for the rest of her life. But life continued on, young Ismene carted around everywhere by her mother, her cheery attitude somewhat dimmed but most definitely not gone. For she still had hope, after all, that her spine would heal upon evolution, and she would be able to dance and prance about as a Kirlia just as she had dreamed before. Alas, the day did come when she would evolve, but even that did not spare her from her fate. She watched as all of the other Ralts her age evolved aswell, and couldn't help but feel resentful towards them all. She became a bit of a recluse, never speaking and obviously never leaving the area that had become her home. The more time passed, the more bitter she became, until the day came that her mother fell ill. She had already lost so much, and the one thing she had left to cling to was being ripped away from her. She stayed by her mother's side through the illness, her psychic abilities making it not too difficult to take care of the dying Gardevoir. But the the day her mother would pass did come, and this final loss that would leave her with nothing in the world sent her into such shock as to send out a wave of psychic energy shattering everything even remotely delicate around her. In the frustration she found herself beginning to glow, and in that moment as she began to evolve into a Gardevior, she looked at the body of her deceased mother, and back to herself, realizing that she would have to fend for herself from this point on. She remained silent, but no longer out of dissent, but instead respect for the world around her, her new evolution granting her the wisdom to see that all things happen for a reason, allowing her to let go of what had happened to her in the past. Instead of remaining a recluse she spent her time focusing on her psychic abilities, lifting herself up and gliding just above the ground. After much work, she found herself able to do this without even having to focus on it, and began turning her studies to the world around her. She decided to attempt to learn how to manipulate the air itself, feeling more attached to it emotionally than other physical things of the earth. She learned that the wind can be either soft or forceful, frightening or empowering, and many other things. The wind was about balance, something she never had in her life, and it brought her something she had not had since that fateful day years ago. A smile.
Hidden Power: Dragon
Special Training: Moving Forward
Ismene can no longer use the moves Lucky Chant, Encore, Hyper Voice, Round, Echoed Voice or Sleep Talk thanks to her vow of respectful silence. Her study of the wind has allowed her to learn Ominous Wind, Silver Wind, and Defog, able to use Defog once per match. Additionally, she no longer has use of her legs, and instead hovers roughly three inches above the ground through the use of psychic levitation, which she does not need to concentrate on in order to maintain. This levitation uses light energy every round, and can be stopped and started as pleased, however she will obviously not be able to move about very well without it. Moves such as Gravity and Smack Down will cause Ismene to hover with her knees just above the ground, her legs dragging about on the floor.

Behemecoatyl: Female Scolipede (level 4)
Biography: Behemecoatyl is a bug that rolls into a ball. She is obviously able to tighten these muscles.
Hidden Power: Ice
Special Training: GameFreak is on crack
Behemecoatyl can use Coil.

Emlyn: Female Riolu (level 1)
Hidden Power: Bug
Sigless

Kirill: Male Drilbur (level 1)
Hidden Power: Ice
Sigless

Aurelius: Male Abra (level 1)
Hidden Power: Dark
Sigless

Mercutio 09-10-2013 04:32 PM

It's surprisingly difficult to think up Hidden Powers for things that have pretty much every move ever.

Spoiler: show
Kalessin (Level 7 male Dragonite); Kalessin, "The Eldest", the first of all dragons, immense, scarred, scales iron black, with red wings and yellow eyes, so old that even Orm Embar is but a yearling kid beside him. I caught him in his homeland, an island named the Keep of Kalessin, in the Dragons' Run in the deepest darks of Earthsea. His head, the colour of iron, stained as with red rust at nostril and eye socket and jowel, hung facing me. He did not move throughout. He might have been crouching there for hours, or for years, or for centuries. He was carven of iron, shaped from rock, but the eyes, the eyes I dared not look into, the eyes like oil coiling on water, like yellow smoke behind glass, the opaque, profound and yellow eyes watched me. He was truly fearsome, but from within him I felt great strength. His power was without measure, his might without binds. He was the creator, the one true King of the Dragons. Versed in the True Speech, Kalessin knows the secrets of the Old Ones, even capable of calling upon the Dragon Gods to aid him and pass him their wisdom. He is even capable of asking them to lend him and his brethren a portion of their power, briefly giving him the air of a God himself.
Hidden Power: Ghost.
Signature Move: "Call of the Dragon Gods" (Dragon); Kalessin sounds a trumpet call, his roar resonating with the true speech of the old world. The spirits of ancient Dragon Gods come forth and bless Kalessin and his kin, giving him a 10% boost to both of his offensive stats. The spirits then retreat to the far corners of the sky. Subsequently, every time a friendly pokémon is sent out, the spirits come forth and bless the new pokémon in the same fashion. This attack costs significant energy. Standard boost stipulations apply. It is essentially an entry hazard which affects friendly pokémon instead of foes. Kalessin cannot use Outrage, Dragon Pulse or Heatwave.
Attached Badge: Shining Badge.

Marus (Level 6 male Charizard); Marus is one of my oldest pokémon. He's been with me from the beginning, ever since he was one my uplevels as a Charmander and then as a Charmeleon. His physical prowess and fiery temper make him a fearsome addition to my squad. He has served valiantly, taking his share of glorious victories as well as disheartening defeats. Never has he given up, though. Throughout his tenure as the patriarch of my squad, he has pushed himself to be better and stronger, more like true dragons. Once this manifested as a desire to almost become a dragon, his proficiency with Dragon moves reaching new levels. As age and experience have grown, however, he has realised that this is best left to the inferior Dragon types. His strengths lie elsewhere. He realised he should be concentrating on his boulder melting breath, his stone smashing strength, his unmatchable agility. So, that's what we did, training to enhance his natural Flying typed prowess and skill. His training was hard, my Tyranitar and Gigalith launching boulder after boulder at him to ensure his skills matched those of everyone around him. My Pidgeot and Dragonite flew many sorties with him, strtching the limits of his speed and dexterity and teaching him to fly higher and further for longer and faster. The results are impressive, his ability to evade attacks honed almost to a sixth sense. He can almost see attacks before they come and evade them before they're half way through their flight.
Hidden Power: Electric.
Signature Trait: "Wings of the Dragon"; Marus can perceive the coming of Rock typed projectiles and energy even as attacks are readied, at a range of many metres. Combined with his natural fear of attacks of that type energy, Marus has a greater chance to dodge Rock attacks on pure instinct i.e. with an idle dodge, even when he has used two moves in a round. Throughout the match, effectiveness is at ref's discretion, but especially when Marus is fresh to battle he has a very good chance of effecting a dodge. Marus must be within ten metres of the opponent and in flight for this trait to kick in. This trait does not apply to attacks such as Head Smash. He cannot use Focus Punch, Heatwave, Hyper Beam or Giga Impact.

Thrak (Level 6 male Hydreigon); Legends speak of a terror so old that even God forgets its place in the world. This terror has a name. It is Thrak. Thrak is an evil creature. The kindred spirit of the fell beasts ridden by the Nazgűl in days of old, Thrak is an ancient Dragon who has a pit of eternal hell fire at the bottom of his dark and rancid soul. A fearsome winged creature greater than all other birds and bats, its vast pinions are as webs of hide between horned fingers. A creature of an older world, wreathed in power and magic and terror. Some say he was sent by the Witch King of Angmar himself to wreak havoc upon the worlds of Men. He has lain seige to cities from the bottom of the deserts to the tip of the mountain ranges. His skills match any and all who dare to oppose him. Throughout the ages of Man many have tried to overcome this foe. None have succeeded. He is darkness. He is the night. He is Thrak.
Hidden Power: Flying.
Signature Move: "Terror of Men" (Dark/Dragon); A stronger version of Snarl. Thrak gives a terrifying roar, creating a shockwave of Dark and Dragon energy that hits the foe for major damage. It costs major energy to use. This attack is loud and frightening in a manner similar to Roar, causing most foes to cringe and be less willing to attack. Thrak cannot use Draco Meteor. This attack may be used twice per battle.

Smaug (Level 5 male Salamence); Smaug, "The Golden", the last of the great dragons of Middle-Earth, rose to prominence by laying waste to the town of Dale and capturing the Lonely Mountain and its treasure. His armour is like tenfold shields, his teeth are swords, his claws spears, the shock of his tail is a thunderbolt, his wings a hurricane, his breath death!"Centuries old, Smaug's brutal ferocity drove the original hoarders of this treasure to flee, taking over a century to recoup their strength enough to try and reclaim their possessions. Legend recounts the tale of a party of dwarves (consisting of a few of the original residents of the Lonely Mountain and their descendants) and the Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, attempting to recapture the mountain and kill the dragon. Once there, the party found a terrible sight before them. Massive and glorious, Smaug was different from others of his race. His scales were golden red in colour, from his gaping maw to his bludgeoning tail. His eyes burned with the colour of his golden hoard, freezing all who looked upon them with fear and loathing. Centuries spent sleeping atop his exultant wealth caused gold and gemstones to become embedded in the flesh of his belly, augmenting the already essentially impenetrable armour of the scales that covered most of the rest of his body with a mystical strength. His love of his treasure granted him his most magical powers of all, empowering him to extend his fearsome aura to the very souls of his foes even when his presence on the battlefield had long since faded.
Hidden Power: Electric.
Signature Move: "Golden Hoard of Erebor" (Dragon); Smaug lets fly a terrifying roar, intimidating his immediate opponents and simultaneously loosing packages of energy resembling great chests of gold and jewels that secret themselves across the arena. Some of these explode immediately, causing the target's offensive stats to lowered by 10%. Others remain in play. Subsequently, every time an opposing Pokémon is sent out, more packages explode and affect the new pokémon in the same fashion. This attack costs significant energy, deals no damage and can be used once per battle. Standard boost stipulations apply. Smaug cannot use Fire Blast, Dragon Pulse or Outrage.

Level 1 female Druddigon
Hidden Power: Fighting.
Signature Trait: "Savage"; Dragon type attacks which utilise direct contact such as Dragon Claw and Dragon Tail count as dealing neutral damage to Steel types if they would normally deal resisted damage. This does not apply to attacks such as Outrage which have a ranged element in the flames and cannot be applied to ranged moves used at range. However, the same attacks deal only neutral damage to Dragon type pokémon.

Level 5 female Haxorus; Řrlǫg, meaning 'great' or 'destiny' in Old Norse, has axes for a face and I can't be bothered to write a bio right now especially as Jeri already approved this sig on a better pokémon.
Hidden Power: Fire.
Signature Move: "Beowulf's Bane" (Dragon); Using considerable energy, Řrlǫg roars loudly and terrifies his foe. The target is scared away and forced to retreat into their pokéball as if they'd used a switching move like Baton Pass. This does not pass on any boosts the target may have had and the new pokémon just not gain the same physical and psychological mindset as the target. In Switch = KO matches, this does not count as a KO. The switch is treated as if Baton Pass had been used, with the target's trainer declaring their new pokémon after the round has been reffed; turn order is unaffected. This move will fail if the target is the last remaining pokemon that its trainer may use in the battle. This move is usable once per battle and Řrlǫg cannot use Brick Break.

(Level 5 male Flygon)
Hidden Power: Electric.
Signature Move: "Salt of the Earth" (Ground); Flygon spits out a stream of salt and rough sand that hits the foe with great force. Due to the irritating nature of the materials, it can cause the target discomfort if it gets in their mouth, eyes or other sensitive areas, in a manner similar to Brine. More importantly, is that foes will become dehydrated in the rounds following. They will therefore find it more difficult to use Water and Ice typed moves. They will use 10% more energy when using such moves and will similarly use a 10% larger proportion of their type energy when using such moves where applicable i.e. if they aren't Water/Ice types. Salt of the Earth uses solid energy and can be used twice per battle. Flygon cannot use Outrage or Fire Blast.

Ryujin (Level 6 female Kingdra)
Hidden Power: Ground.
Signature Trait: "Coral Shred" (Rock); Ryujin gathers a large group of sharp coral shards in a few rings around herself before launching them at the foe, dealing considerable damage. This costs significant energy, and Ryujin has the Rock typed energy to twice per match. The attack is considered super effective against Water types, since owing to Ryujin's prowess as champion of the sea, she thought to craft her projectiles to slice their flesh the most easily. However, pokémon with particularly hard bodies may take less damage from the move as they cannot be so easily shredded. Ryujin cannot use Giga Impact or Brine.

Osiceca (Level 7 genderless Zapdos); Osiceca, pronounced oh-shee-chay-chah, is named in the traditions of its people. The word means 'storm', and this is an apt description of Osiceca's qualities. Majestic and proud, Osiceca is capable of hurling tremendous bolts of lightning that split the heavens and sizzle the very earth itself. Terrible and fearsome, its startling agility and bounteous grace leave all those witness to it cowering in fearful awe. Of course, the battle to capture it was brilliantly intense and fraught with terrible danger. Using my Metagross, I wore it down with relentless mental attacks and brutish physical strength, tearing hunks of flesh from its bones and rending the very fabric of reality just for the chance to throw that single solitary Ultra Ball. In the end, Zapdos was gravely injured in my attempt to capture it, though its strength remained true once I had nursed it back to health. Osiceca is born from the Native American legends of the thunderbird, a great sky bird of lighting and rain whose sighting was said to signify the oncoming storm. According to some legends, whenever the thunderbird touched down upon the ground for even the briefest moment, a lighting bolt would suddenly erupt from the sky and scorch that same soil. From this inspiration, I took to the task of creating a unique move for Osiceca that befitted its magnificent power. With practice, we developed the idea, and formed it in to a new move: The Oncoming Storm. This terrific attack melds thunder and lighting and beauty and strength in to a glittering combination that none can oppose.
Hidden Power: Ground.
Signature Move: "The Oncoming Storm" (Electric); Osiceca latches on to the foe with its talons and looses a mighty burst of electricity directly in to them. It deals major damage and costs major energy. It has a 30% chance of causing paralysis and a 30% chance of burning its victims at the point of contact, these statuses rolled for on separate RNGs. The move is fuelled by the legend of the thunderbird and carries a number of properties not usual to electric moves. Owing to the focused manner in which it is delivered and the ancient legend from which it comes, The Oncoming Storm merely counts as being resisted by types normally immune to Electric attacks, such as the Ground type, and as being neutral against types which would normally resist Electric attacks, such as the Grass type. It affects types which would normally be dealt neutral damage or super effective damage in the same way as a standard Electric attack. Thus, under a 2x/4x reffing system, The Oncoming Storm deals 4x damage to Gyarados, 2x damage to Starmie, 1x damage to Kangaskhan, 1x damage to Sceptile, 0.5x damage to Sandslash, 2x damage to Tropius, 0.5x damage to Torterra and 1x damage to Quagsire. In learning this move, Osiceca lost the use of Zap Cannon, Giga Impact and Sky Attack. The Oncoming Storm can be used twice per battle.

Laa-Laa (Level 7 female Snorlax); The first thing to know is that Laa-Laa is bright yellow where she should normally be dark in colour. Secondly, she has a quiff of hair on top of her head that twirls around like an aerial. Thirdly, being a Snorlax, she is naturally huge. These traits add up to make her truly unique within the ASB. On top of these quirks, her personality sets her up as a true great. She's massively playful and is a huge amount of fun to be around, always bouncing about and telling everyone that things are going to be great. She's a real optimist, with a smile a mile wide and an appetite to match that. Despite her uniqueness, her status as an extremely powerful pokémon within the metagame keeps her in the realms of "OU". She's now gained experience and has taken on the role of leader of my Normal typed team, ready at a moment's notice to step in and deal with any situation arising. Her ubiquitous presence on my Gym squads shows the extent of her power, her strength indispensable to me. She'll take on the strongest of opponents and the largest of meals, yet is always willing to let small pokémon have an even chance against her and give the most needy a piece of her pie, even if she has to go without herself. Because of her amazing nature, I had to get her a brilliant toy to play with. The problem is, you can't bring items to the ASB, so we had to improvise something out of her powers as a pokémon...
Hidden Power: Bug.
Signature Move: "Time for tubby bye bye!" (Normal/Various); Drawing on her playful nature and bountiful type energy, Laa-Laa creates a construct in the form of a large ball of yellow energy. Half of this energy will be Normal typed while the other half may be drawn from any type to which she has access. She then either throws this at the opponent or pile drivers it in to them. Due to the playful nature of the attack, Laa-Laa will gain a 10% boost to both of her offensive stats following the use of the move, similar to a use of Work Up. This move is usable twice per battle. It costs significant energy to use and deals solid damage. Standard boost stipulations apply. She cannot use Hidden Power, Hyper Beam or Giga Impact.

Vetinari (Level 7 male Umbreon); Vetinari is another pokémon who's been with me since the beginning. He's always been in touch with his poisonous attributes, likely because of the amount of poison types on my original squad. Upon evolution he became more confident in his battling abilities and more focused in his ambitions. Like his namesake, he is five steps ahead of every opponent and makes up for his lack of type coverage by sapping the will of his prey one step at a time. It's all about keeping the little plates spinning after all. Vetinari is deadly in combat, but doesn't really need to be; the sign of a great pokémon indeed.
Hidden Power: Various.
Signature Training: "Flexibility and Understanding"; When ordering Vetinari to use Hidden Power, a type must be specified, for example "Hidden Power Fire". Vetinari will proceed to use a Hidden Power of the type specified. He may use Hidden Power three times per match but may use a given type only once per match.

ZoraKangaskhan (Level 6 male Kangaskhan); ZoraKangaskhan is one of my older pokémon. A male Kangaskhan, thus without a child of his own to carry around like something out of The Pacifier, ZoraKangaskhan is free to concentrate on his unorthodox style of battling and creating his amusing put downs. Zora has always been one for destroying the opponents with words, as opposed to battles, and with an uncanny ability to always be right the Normal type is often the winner of arguments on a wide variety of topics. In addition to his trolling prowess, Zora is an able fighter, utilising his skills with wordplay to confuse and worry his opponents whilst moving to ramp up his destructive capabilities. With his signature move, Zora is a mainstay of my Gym squad and is often called upon to face down opponents who want to engage in fisticuffs. Zora is gay, and thus is attracted his fellow males in the ASB as opposed to females as might be expected.
Hidden Power: Psychic.
Signature Move: "Ultra Troll" (Normal); Using decent energy, Zora bulks himself up both physically and mentally. His weight increases to roughly 240lbs and his physical attack strength is increased by 20%. His physical speed and agility decrease by 20%. While the boost is active, Zora is highly resistant to Taunt, Swagger and Torment. Standard boost stipulations apply, physical moves taking 20% extra energy to perform, and Zora can use this move twice per battle. Zora cannot use Curse or Focus Punch.

Grace (Level 6 female Blissey); Grace is a young pokémon, hatching from an egg mere days before I found her. Her mother had been caught by poachers in a Safari Zone and she was on the brink of death from starvation and thirst. I nursed her back to health, slowly gaining her trust and introducing her to the members of my team. Being so young, she latched onto all who were kind to her, forming a special bond with Chunky, who viewed her as a precious gift. It was he who named her Grace, and he who took to playing with her the most. When she was strong enough, he and other members of my team took to letting her join in the play fights. Being so close to Chunky, it was only a matter of time before she showcased her curious natural ability. Perhaps the myriad type energies constantly surrounding her, perhaps the teachings of my Starmie, perhaps just a cheap way of getting me a Fighting type counter, but it seemed that Grace was far less weak to Chunky's attacks than the other Normal types in my possession.
Hidden Power: Grass.
Signature Trait: "Amazing Grace"; Grace's body naturally emits a soft white aura of peace and love. This aura naturally dissipates opponents' Fighting typed energy and thus Grace takes only neutral damage from Fighting typed moves. However, any Fighting type move used by Grace counts as being Normal typed from a damage standpoint. She cannot use Focus Punch or Focus Blast.

Zeke (Level 6 genderless Porygon-Z); Zeke was created with stolen technology from the Devon Corporation. Its code is modified to encompass elements of higher evolutions, as well as artificial pokémon yet to be revealed to the world at large. Its programming includes battle strategies, historical records and other elements designed to make him a superior foe. A key feature of this is the ability to enact a tactical retreat when the situation requires different tactics in order for success, disorientating and disrupting the opponent in the process in order to swiftly exit. Unfortunately, it still requires orders to function and thus is not as implacable a foe as its designers might have liked. In addition to its dependence on human orders, it contains multiple flaws and errors which hamper certain elements of its battling ability and make it a risk to the health of those nearby. It is incomplete, preventing it from utilising the most powerful of attacks available. I acquired its programming in an auction and managed to coax it in to life. Grateful to me for freeing it from its cybernetic bondage, it joined my squad and has become a staple ever since.
Hidden Power: Fire.
Signature Move: "Electric Soldier Porygon" (Normal); Charging significant energy, Zeke releases a bright burst of light at its opponent. The target experiences a 10% drop in their special defence, which has standard boost stipulations. The remaining energy is used by Zeke to return to its pokeball, with a new pokémon being sent out into the field. When the new pokémon is sent out, it gains the exact physical and psychological mindset of Zeke in the same manner as Volt Switch. This attack deals no damage and can be used once per battle.

Horus (Level 6 male Pidgeot); Horus is the name of the Ancient Egyptian God of the Sky, War and Hunting, said to contain within him both the sun and the moon. In Pidgeot he found a suitable avatar for his return to the world of mortal men. In this form he imagined he could retake the skies and rule over the race of men as the God he truly was. Beginning his quest, he vanquished many foes in the skies but found his body lacked the versatility needed to dominate as he had once done. He could not launch thunderbolts from his eyes, could not wield a mighty spear to vanquish his enemies. Taking his cue from another legend on my squad, Oh-You, he learned to manifest such force from within himself. Training with the other Normal types on my squad, he learned greater versatility, humbling himself before them in order to take their knowledge and power for himself. His history as a God, his unending contest with Set, his rule over the kingdoms of old, all of these left him well prepared for this new wisdom. After many days of training and failure, he finally perfected a new move with which to smite his enemies. It took from the powers he had commanded in his many mythological roles. With it, I have shaped him in to a powerful champion for good.
Hidden Power: Rock.
Signature Move: "Herald of the Sun and Moon" (Various); Horus surrounds himself with an aura of energy. The energy may be drawn from one of his three mythological type energies. These are Electric (Sky), Fighting (War) and Ground (Hunting). Once he has done this, he dives swiftly towards the foe and rakes them with his talons before using his momentum to continue flying away from the target. This move deals major damage for major energy. Horus will take 25% recoil damage if he strikes. He cannot use Air Slash, Giga Impact or Brave Bird. This move can be used twice per battle but each type can only be selected once per battle.

Oh-You (Level 6 genderless Metagross); Oh-You was captured as a Beldum, levitating both itself and many surrounding boulders and saplings despite being unable to use the move Psychic at the time. I immediately battled it and caught it, making use of my Charizard. Its psychic powers were so great that it levitated the pokéball it was in out of my hand and released itself, instantly evolved into a Metang. Knowing the power I had in my possession, I immediately set to training the strong pokémon, eventually managing to get it to evolve once more. As a Metagross, it began displaying incredible feats of psychic power that were scarcely possible to imagine, such as holding opponents in place while striking them with attacks and boosting his own powers while continuing his assault. Its most notable achievement was defeating Zapdos, the legendary bird, on Lightning Island. Though the bird was strong and fought valiantly, in the end Oh-You was able to win through and I was able to capture the bird. Taking inspiration from its victory here, Oh-You sought to further increase his potential for shock and awe tactics. Training heavily with Thrak, my Hydreigon, it learned how to manipulate Dragon type energy in to an attack, this type's association with legendary pokémon key to unlocking Oh-You's potential. Meditating heavily for many hours with Sera, my Weavile, it learned the ability to heavily boost both physical and special offence with minimal effort. Combining these methods with the philosophy of offensive defence and of victory through superior firepower, it managed to create a mover which satisfied our needs. After continuous target practice with Ruby, my Starmie, it eventually perfected the move for use in battle.
Hidden Power: Fire.
Signature Move: "Spear of Ages" (Steel/Dragon); Oh-You charges Steel and Dragon typed energy, forming it into the shape of an ornate spear, and fires it towards the opponent. Drawing on its memories of victory against a legendary pokémon, the move inspires Oh-You to even greater endeavours and raises its physical and special attack stats by 20%. It deals considerable damage for major energy. The spear travels quite quickly. Since it is merely an energy construct, instead of a physical spear, it has no chance of inflicting lasting injuries in realistic battles and will be walled by Light Screen. Oh-You has the Dragon energy to fuel two uses of this move. Standard boost stipulations apply, including diminishing returns and gradual fade out. Oh-You cannot use Giga Impact, Reflect or Hone Claws.

Defiant (Level 6 genderless Magnezone); Defiant is a veteran of my very first ASB squad, hailing from the days when my signatures were dafter and far less useful. Having travelled with me since life as a Magnemite and evolved all the way to its final form, Defiant has picked up on the fact that every time I use it I continuously reference Star Trek. A lot. Defiant can be an erratic little tyke and likes to play hide and seek, when he's not assisting me with my reffings, but its true strength lies in its weaponry. Watching me train my Gym squad all day every day has led Defiant to realise that it needs to remain cutting edge in order to keep up with advances in battling. Taking a break from front line duty, Defiant headed to the Utopia Planitia shipyards and checked itself in for a little tactical refit and rechristening.
Hidden Power: Grass.
Signature Move: "Quantum Torpedo" (Fire); Defiant charges a spherical projectile, formed of Fire typed energy, and fires it at the opponent to deal considerable damage. Much like Magnet Bomb, the projectile is attracted to the target, causing it to follow the target until the attack hits. This attack uses heavy energy and Defiant has the Fire energy to use it twice per battle. Defiant cannot use Mirror Shot, Wild Charge or Thunder.

Greg (Level 6 male Electivire); Sometimes I wonder why Greg first appeared to us. I think he was attracted to the charge coming off of Phantasmic's training sessions. Whatever the reason, he came charging into our campsite and started laying the smack down on everything in sight. Luckily Marus was on hand to roast him with a Flamethrower, and we prepared to move on. Before we left, though, I took a look. On this closer inspection I decided to capture this unusual specimen. He's generally pretty sound, and very reliable in battle. Even before we began our specialised training, he was always a mainstay of my squads. With evolution, he's gained an appreciation for the colour red, and no longer becomes enraged when he sees it. He also knows the value of occasionally playing dirty, but he has shown an increased level of maturity upon reaching his final form. This maturity has allowed us to begin training him to be something more, something special (whilst also being incredibly clichéd. Greg worked with my Hariyama, Infernape and Poliwrath in order to focus his Fighting typed energies to their most potent form. Constant practicing has left him an expert in the art of kick boxing and, while this is not a real martial art, it does provide some useful skills when facing tough opponents. Superior conditioning with Louis has left him lean and fit, constant exercise with Chunky allowing him the strength and skill necessary to use Fighting type moves to their full effectiveness and focussed meditation with Mario has left him able to prepare his mind effectively enough to wield his skills in the heat of battle. This work is generally evidenced by the addition of a new move and a greater ability to relentlessly punch things in the face.
Hidden Power: Flying.
Signature Trait: "Destruction"; Greg is familiar with the Fighting type and can use Close Combat. He cannot use Fire typed attacks or the move Giga Impact.

Chunky (Level 6 male Hariyama); Chunky was always sensitive about his weight, wondering if it was the reason all the girl Makuhita were ignoring him because of it. He used to make himself feel better with the Wii that he had for some reason, endlessly beating his enemies online with Brawl and Wario, his favourite character. Then one day he realized that the reason that the girls were ignoring him was because he wasn't joining in with all of the Makuhita games and beating the crap out of his friends. He resolved to change his ways, forever putting away the Cheetos and chocolate milkshakes of his youth. But one thing remained with him from those heady days; Wario is oddly aerial for a fat guy. Chunky is gay, meaning that moves such as Attract work if used by male pokémon, not female.
Hidden Power: Flying.
Signature Trait: "One Two Jump"; After a bit of training, Chunky can double jump, just like the characters on Super Smash Bros. To do so, he jumps twice (counting as a single move), platformed by non damaging energy discharges that appear from his feet. Doing this costs the energy of two Agility dodges. He can jump up to twice his own height (measured from the top of his head). He will not be injured if he lands correctly, having practised hard, but if knocked off course will take a decent amount of recoil damage upon hitting the ground. Attacks like Body Slam which are used after a Double Jump do 10% more damage. Chunky is unable to use Fire Punch, as he spent the time he should of been learning it learning this new technique.

Sera (Level 6 female Weavile); My starter pokémon, Sera was once always with me wherever I went. Times have changed and in her maturing years she has become quieter, more focused on her job. Still warm hearted, for a Weavile, she now projects stoic determination and poise. She still relentlessly trains her dodging technique at all times and eschews the notion of using pure power to achieve an objective. Now wiser and more thoughtful, she has moved from actively trying to out flank her opponents to passively waiting to counter attack. Her speed is incredible, matched only by her agility. She relentlessly practices her gymnastics, her acrobatics and her unarmed combat. Her claws are constantly sharpened, her muscles constantly honed, her reflexes constantly refined.
Hidden Power: Ground.
Signature Trait: "I am Ninja"; Sera can perceive the aura of Fighting typed energy as soon as it is formed, at a range of many metres. Combined with her natural fear of attacks of that type energy, Sera has a greater chance to dodge Fighting attacks on pure instinct i.e. with an idle dodge, even when she has used two moves in a round. Throughout the match, effectiveness is at ref's discretion, but especially when Sera is fresh to battle she has a very good chance of effecting a dodge. Sera must be within ten metres of the opponent for this trait to kick in. She cannot use Focus Punch, Blizzard, Hyper Beam or Giga Impact.

Spike (Level 6 Male Gengar); Spike has returned, having spent several months training to enhance his skills in a Tibetan monastery, before practising his arts as a ninja in the slums of Beijing. Returning to my squad as a Haunter, he became more assertive and willing to stand up for his beliefs. He finds that his training in the monastery has helped him to focus on the things that are important in life; battling, training and balloon animals. Sadly the latter passion is useless in battle, but luckily he does have a trick to make him awesome anyway. Having trained in the art of indirect combat, attacking foes from where they least expect it, Spike has learned to infect the enemies with their worst fears and watch them lose their fighting spirit. He excels in the art of disruption, able to slip through the tiniest of gaps and hinder his opponents in a variety of ways.
Hidden Power: Fire.
Signature Move: "Reaper's Sweep" (Ghost); Spike charges at his opponent and dives straight through them using his ethereal form, shrieking with terrible menace and coursing with ghostly energy. This deals solid damage for solid energy, but will not affect targets if they themselves are ethereal at the time. If necessary, Spike automatically switches to his ethereal form in order to use this attack, in the same way that he would switch to his physical form if he were using a punching attack from an ethereal start.

Tilly (Level 6 female Steelix); Tilly was always happier as an Onix, feeling more comfortable with her rocky attacks and rocky hide than with a shiny and conspicuous coat of metal. Sadly, the metagame of the ASB (4x weaknesses are bad) forced her to grow up, confront her insecurities and evolve into a more powerful and less vulnerable form. Though now a Steelix, she never quite lost her attachment to the Rock type, missing her ability to spam rock moves until the day is done. Her defensive mindset is somewhat hindered by Gamefreak's desire to make their defensive behemoths a dead weight, necessitating a strategic shift towards controlling an opponent's movements in order to protect herself. For this reason, she has developed a move which taps in to her slow and steady nature. This allows her to strike with her massive frame and win the day.
Hidden Power: Ice.
Signature Move: "Mud Pies" (Ground); Using significant energy, Tilly launches bomblets of energy imbued mud to surround the opponent. Some of these explode immediately, while others settle on the terrain ready to strike at new pokémon in a manner similar to Stealth Rock. When Mud Pies explode, they slow the target down significantly in a much stronger version of Mud Shot's secondary effect. Slowdown is related only to travel across the ground, and targets may still attack at will with moves which do not require fleet of foot. Targets will also take mud to the eyes and experience a drop in their accuracy as if they had been hit by Muddy Water. Mud Pie's effects lasts a round or so. For the effects to work, target pokémon must be standing on the ground; high flying pokémon will not be affected. This attack deals no damage. Tilly cannot use Earth Power, Flash Cannon or Giga Impact.

Dildomon (Level 6 female Gigalith); I caught Dildomon after making it through to the third round of the Pokébowl 2011. She was tired and beaten, having taken out DaveTheFishGuy's Gigalith largely by virtue of hiding behind rocks and using typespam. A rental pokémon before meeting me, she'd never experienced a large amount of training more than "use whatever they tell you to then roll over". Thus, it came as quite a surprise to me to learn that she'd learned the lessons of her first match under my command and was ready to begin a career as a battler in the ASBL. I was ready to teach her all I knew, thus leaving her truly deserving of her moniker. A shy one, Dildomon is usually comfortable lounging around in a nice patch of shade while other pokémon play in the sun.
Hidden Power: Water.
Signature Training: "Hide behind that big rock! Lol!"; Dildomon's Stealth Rock attack has a base power of solid as opposed to moderate damage, with an energy cost at major as opposed to significant.

John (Level 6 male Aggron); John doesn't take shit from anybody. This is a useful trait, as being the only American on my squad he is relentlessly taunted at all times for having rubbish taste in alcohol, politicians and men. John is a hard worker, using his high strength to do the tasks needed for the team's well being. He expects respect and he usually gets it, despite being a newer addition to the squad. His abilities as a battler are obvious and his talent for surviving the harshest of assaults is pretty impressive. Owing to his great toughness I have come to expect good endurance in his battles. However, because of his slightly off kilter weakness and resistance chart, he can be vulnerable to assaults from well timed and chosen attacks by intelligent trainers. He elected to train harder to repel such assaults, learning to hold him self more defensively and protect against his vulnerable areas. He took many strikes from Louis, learning to resist the pain of Fighting typed moves. He took many blows from Tilly, learning to withstand the hurt of Ground typed moves. Eventually, with much strain and effort, he managed to garner a greater resistance to his weakspots by mentally imagining what it would be like to be an Aggron if Gamefreak wasn't full of crack addicts. He came to realise that there was no reason that Ground moves should be super effective against Steel types, and no reason that Fighting moves should be super effective against Rock types. Fuelled by this realisation, he forced his body to undergo a change that would render him less vulnerable to such moves by purifying his weakness and resistance chart. Lacking the potential to fundamentally alter the way that type elements interact, he caused himself to become more metallic in nature. He became colder, more distant, more stoic. He gained the typing of a pure Steel type. His constant weathering of strong blows and wore down his stony exterior portions and gave him a more steely demeanour. John is gay, meaning that he is attracted to male pokémon in the ASB as opposed to females, which should be noted in the case of Attract or Captivate users. He won't use those moves on females himself, either.
Hidden Power: N/A
Signature Trait: "Logical Regression"; John has become a pure Steel type, gaining the weaknesses and resistances of this typing. Because his type change is based upon logic, he also becomes 2x weak to Electric moves. He also loses all standard Rock typed species characteristics. He maintains the Rock typed energy of a Steelix. He cannot use Ancientpower, Stone Edge, Smack Down, Rock Slide, Hidden Power, Earth Power or Focus Punch.

Deep (Level 6 male Tyranitar); Deep draws his power from the legends of the Helm Hammerhand, the spirit of this great warrior granting him indomitable will and incredible resistance. His hide resists all attacks, his roar repels all enemies, his power levels all opponents like a towering inferno of mighty force and fire. Greatly skilled in the ways of military strategy, Deep is a true descendant if the first age. I captured him in glittering caves beneath the valleys of his homeland and heard his tale of mythical battles and terrible vengeance. Stories of swords as shields and Great war beyond the limits of our feeble knowledge. Deep's strength is immeasurable, fighting even the limitations of his unfortunate typing. As a pokémon, he has access to many new forms of weapon and defence, but the spirit of the hero remains true in him. My capture of Deep came as he was resting from a great battle, taking many hours to complete despite his low evolutionary level at the time. In time, he learned to trust and respect my judgements, even allowing me to train him. Taking inspiration from some of the higher level defensive behemoths in the league, I trained him to resist those specific elements which could cause him the most harm and to withstand even the might of Fighting typed moves, his inexplicable Achilles heel. Deep has become a veritable fortress, able to stand toe to tow with my Aggron and Metagross as examples of endurance and stamina.
Hidden Power: Psychic.
Signature Trait: "Impregnable"; Deep benefits from a version of Rhyperior's Solid Rock ability. As well as the standard Rock type resilience and tough hide generic to all members of his species, which reduces all damage he receives from physical attacks, super effective attacks against Deep deal less damage.

Squawker (Level 6 male Archeops); Squawker was resurrected from a fossil unearthed by Indiana, my trusty Zangoose. Having begun travelling in Unova, this region suddenly coming into existence or something, we came across this fossil in an area pockmarked by craters and smoke. The reasons for this quickly became clear as we had the fossil resurrected back at Cinnabar. Squawker, as I later named him, was curiously adept at scampering around the place, only taking flight in times of battle or other crisis. And, as it turned out, this was a pretty useful skill to have. His speed takes me by surprise often, though he sometimes has trouble changing his direction!
Hidden Power: Grass.
Signature Move: "Stun Rush" (Rock/Flying); Squawker darts in to strike the opponent for moderate damage. This hit is so quick and startling that it interrupts the foe's action. Stun Rush uses decent energy. It may be used twice per battle.

Huǒ (Level 1 male Slugma)
Hidden Power: Water.
Signature Move: "The Floor is Lava!" (Fire); Huǒ expends significant energy and calls out "The Floor is Lava!", causing all enemies present to believe that the 'floor' of the arena is hot lava and that they must immediately get off of it. This has a number of effects. Targets will instinctively attempt to get to cover, for example attempting to climb on to nearby boulders or jumping frantically in order to escape the boiling hot lava. If they realise that there's nowhere to go, they will stand on their tip toes (or the equivalent) and try not to move very far across the ground, imagining that they have found a small piece of solid ground where they stand. However, if there are multiple real refuges that a pokémon could jump between e.g. multiple boulders or a series of pontoons, pokémon may be able to leap across the lava. Ref's discretion is advised. While they believe that the floor is lava, they will not be able to use any arena dependent moves such as Earthquake or Rock Slide, though they can still attack with other moves from atop their perches if they feel secure in their location. These effects last for four rounds. They are purely in the mind, so pokémon will not take any damage. Despite Huǒ's physiology, the 'hot lava' illusion comes from childhood games and not actual preconceptions about lava, so this technique works as well on Magmar and Golem as it does on Pikachu and Snover. Pokémon which are particularly intelligent may be slightly more resistant than others. It can also be used to convince pokémon that a pool or lake etc is hot lava. The Floor is Lava! can be used once per match. Huǒ cannot use Recover or Stockpile.

Branch (Level 6 male Sceptile); My Sceptile has undergone a reawakening. Gone is the persona of 'Sid', the sullen and heartsick Grovyle of old. In its place is Branch, who is essentially the pokémon version of a stereotypical hippie with a touch of John McClane thrown in for good measure. While he's pretty easy going and laid back, he's tuned into the patterns of Mother Earth and this new awareness has made him seem slightly aloof to a few members of my squad. His link to the forces of nature also grants him a link to the healing powers of the earth. His link with Mother Nature is breathtaking, his ails and ills mysteriously healed before their effects can even be felt.
Hidden Power: Ice.
Signature Trait: "Nature's Blessing"; At the end of every round in which Branch is touching the ground and not at maximum health, he will restore a mild amount of health. Up to 1/3 of his total health may be restored in this way. This effect stacks with all other healing factors Branch possesses naturally as a Grass type. The effect only works if Branch is on 'natural' terrain, such as the Lawn arena or an outdoor Sand arena. It will not work on terrain such as a concrete arena or a metal floor. Branch cannot use Toxic and cannot use any Steel typed moves.

Sunny (Level 6 female Sunflora); Sunny, despite belonging to a species even I_D wouldn't touch with a bargepole, is awesome. A veteran of the zombie wars, she's accustomed to facing down horders of enemies while striving to get her job done. With the wars over, she turned her attention to ASB and found me out, requesting a ride into battle. A tribute to her sunny disposition was that, upon finding out that Grass types kind of suck balls, she immediately came to terms with virtual uselessness in the PASBL environment. She's come to use a quirk of mine in battle, often times pisses her opponents off so much they stop battling for a while and just headbang the floor. Awesome.
Hidden Power: Fire.
Signature Move: "You just lost the game" (Typeless); When Sunny emits her battle cry of "I lost the game", all pokémon (allied and enemy) on the field are interrupted and cease their action, be that an attack or a dodge command, thus causing it to fail. They spend a few seconds bemoaning the fact that they too lost the game before beginning to move again. Sunny herself does the same thing during this time, and thus cannot attack for a few seconds after using the move. This move can only be used once every five rounds and costs the energy of a Flamethrower to use.

Flutterby (Level 6 female Butterfree); Flutterby has returned to my squad, having spent the past few months campaigning for better snacks in the Queen's Head. Her respite from battling has seen her level down to a newbie status, but her experiences before she left and her contemplation of them she realised that she needs something better than status moves and Psychic familiarity if she wants to take down the roughest of opponents with any regularity. To this end, she also spent her time training her offensive powers, ending up learning a great move that deals huge damage to those Bug/Steel types who want to ruin her game. Its power and beauty are representative of her own talents, and its ability to piss off the uber vets is reminiscent of her hugely flukey ability to take down a Scizor with Twister.
Hidden Power: Fire.

Stone (Level 6 male Forretress); Stone rocks. A native of Johto, he spent much of his formative life rolling around Ilex forest, singing songs and butting trees. His warm glow made everyone around him feel good and his strong defences kept him going when things got rough. What he lacks in battling experience, he makes up for in enthusiasm and red hot defence. His characteristic sturdiness is due in part to his heritage as a behemoth, and due in part to his constant fiery spirit and vigour. Stone is hot stuff.
Hidden Power: Water.
Signature Trait: "Hot Stuff"; Stone projects a low level field of Fire typed energy at all times. This requires no energy to maintain, but when Stone is struck by a Fire typed move, it flares up to act as a buffer. Thus, when Fire typed moves hit Stone, they deal only 2x damage. Owing to limited Fire typed reserves, however, this only works twice during a match. Thus, the first two Fire typed moves which strike Stone during a match will deal 2x damage, while all subsequent Fire attacks will deal 4x damage as normal.

Mr BUZZZZZZZZ (Level 1 male Beedrill); Mr BUZZZZZZZZ is a survivor from the Battle of the Burning Forest, a terrible event in the history of pokémon where a Charmeleon and a Slowpoke did battle in a beautiful forest clearing and set it alight. In the course of their battle and the hasty alteration of time that was necessary to undo it, a swarm of Beedrill were erased from existence. The architect of this erasure, a strange scientist from a nation of madmen, opened a hole in the space-time continuum and pushed the Beedrill inside. Needless to say, they swiftly perished in the hell that they found within, but one Beedrill survived. Held captive outside of time and space, the helpless insect went slowly insane, living for aeons with no-one but himself to call upon for comfort. At the moment when his mind was close to atrophying completely, a strange light appeared before him. Flapping his wings for the first time in millennia, he struggled towards the eerie shining and tumbled through a second rip in the fabric of reality. Free and able to explore the world once more, he ventured of in to the wilderness, eventually stumbling upon the architect of the fire that claimed his home. Of course, that destroyer was my Charmeleon, now my mighty Charizard Marus. Enraged, the Beedrill attacked, but with a hefty type and level advantage, Marus swiftly overcame his foe with a burst of intense fire. Trapping him in a Fire Spin, I readied a pokéball, but a sudden glow broke my focus and caused me to retreat in fear. Within moments, a gargantuan beam of Dragon energy erupted from the cyclone and knocked out Marus in one blow. Emerging from his fiery prison, the Beedrill attacked, his assault halted only wth the combined might of my Dragonite and Metagross. Pinning the frantic pokémon to the ground and scrabbling for a pokéball, I wondered what could have happened to this creature to make him so afraid and so powerful as he is. The Beedrill answered with a single, guttural sentence. "They call me Mr BUZZZZZZZZ..."
Hidden Power: Fire.
Signature Trait: "I put 13 different opportunities in the rng boiling pot. Im serious."; Mr BUZZZZZZZZ can use Spatial Rend for some reason. He has the Dragon energy to use it twice per match. If Mr BUZZZZZZZZ should ever encounter a member of the Charmander or Slowpoke lines, friend, foe or wild, he will go in to a blind rage and attack that pokémon without mercy until he has destroyed them utterly or fainted himself. He cannot be ordered not to do this.

Noah (Level 6 male Beartic); Noah is a lovable, yet eccentric, polar bear looked upon as wise despite his youth by many pokémon in my squad. They turn to him when they need advice or help, often exchanging words with him as he trains by creating snowballs and shooting them. He is ambitious and idealistic, wishing to turn an island he once found himself on into a safe haven for endangered pokémon before joining me. Noah often utters his catchphrase "oh deary me" when things go wrong, which being an Ice type, they often do. As a protector by nature, his training often revolves around defence and thus he's developed an efficient way of protecting himself and his team mates.
Hidden Power: Grass.
Signature Move: "Snow Shield" (Ice); Using energy equal to Ice Beam, Noah takes two or three seconds to erect a semi circle of compact ice and snow to serve as a defensive barrier between himself and attacks. This shield has the capacity to withstand a Thunder's worth of attacks, physical and special. It is fixed in place like barrier and cannot be moved. It is a little under the height and width of Noah, with a depth of one foot. Fire attacks deal double damage to the shield and in very bright sun and other hot situations the shield will be less effective. Snow Shield may be used once per battle.

Peach (Level 1 shiny female Tropius); Peach is a Tropius that belonged to the original Lilt Ladies. Her diet of odd tasting soft drink and delicious tropical fruit has left her shiny in colouration. It has also left the fruit hanging from her neck a delectable combination of peach, banana, pineapple and mango. With a few sweet berries thrown in for good measure. Her career in showbiz gave her an appreciation for the finer things in life, but as the glitz, glamour and awful fashion of the 1990s gave way to the new millennium, Peach knew that she had to move on. She left her first trainers, taking with her knowledge of great dancing and tasty fruit recipes. Eventually, I found her off in Hoenn, trying to bring the secret of the Lilt to the good people of the pokémon world. For a pokémon not used to the horrors of war, she was pretty tough to convince to come with me. I promised her some rum to go with that fruity goodness she was serving.
Hidden Power: Steel.
Signature move: "Totally Tropical, Totally Chilled" (Grass); Peach shakes her whole body and releases a flurry of fruit pieces, in the same manner as Spikes. The burst can be focussed in to a vaguely direct, shotgun like usage, or it can be widened to a 180 degrees semi circle. In either case, a large amount of fruit will land on the battlefield. The technique can be used thrice per battle, deals no damage and costs significant energy. Each time it is used, the volley will be largely made up of one of the four fruit types that make up her selection, determined at random by the ref. Fruit which is launched in this way does not carry the normal benefits associated with Tropius fruit. The type of fruit that makes up the majority of the burst will determine which of the following effects will be triggered, with all effects lasting a round or so:
Peach: These release a lovely aroma that jolts pokémon from drowsiness, confusion and mild paralysis, in the same manner as Aromatherapy.
Banana: These present a slip hazard, which may cause pokémon to trip or fall when moving around the field.
Pineapple: These detonate like a flashbang grenade, stunning the opponent leaving them moderately blinded and deafened.
Mango: These release a puff of beautiful fragrance upon detonation, having the same effect upon the target as Sweet Scent.

Dreamer (Level 2 female Ivysaur); Dreamer was one of my original squad members, picked up as a Bulbasaur as I began my journey in to the pokémon world. She was always affectionate and kind, but shared a number of unwise relationships with members of mine and others' squads and eventually left to deal with her troubles on her own. Now, she has returned to me a mighty Venusaur, stronger and more independent in her outlook, fluent in Japanese and boasting a strong move to best her opponents. Dreamer is a lesbian and thus attracted to female pokémon i nthe ASB, instead of male pokémon.
Hidden Power: Fire.
Signature Move: "Denryuu no Tsuta" (Electric); Dreamer charges electricity in to her vines and strikes her target harshly. Her dazzling appendages resemble a mighty hydra as they jolt and sparkle with uncontrolled power and beauty. The attack has a 30% chance to paralyse the opponent. Damage is equal to Thunder and energy is equal to Thunder plus Thundershock. Dreamer has the Electric energy to use this attack once per match.

Maladict (Level 1 female Zubat); Maladict is a veteran of some of the more recent Borogravian Wars, her vampiric nature allowing her to live out the years as a soldier in the army before eventually leaving to seek fortune and delicious coffee beans else where. The years had made it a little easier to avoid drinking the blood of others, a development that made it somewhat easier for her to be around other pokémon. Her time in the army tought her that there is sometimes nothing more effective than siege warfare, a good hail of suppressing fire often enough to keep even the most ardent foes at bay. She thus learned to use the Ground typed move Mud Bomb, mud being about the only useful material with which to make bombs in Borogravia. An important note is that while Maladict is a female, she is so used to passing herself off as a male that pokémon will often mistake her for one. Therefore, moves such as Attract may be less effective than normal because, on the one hand, flirting with someone of the wrong sex can be strange for some, but on the other, being flirted with by someone of the same sex can be even stranger!
Hidden Power: Fighting.
Signature Trait: "Dirty Bombs"; Maladict can use Mud Bomb and has the Ground energy to use it three times per battle. Because of her abstention from drinking blood, she cannot use any draining moves e.g. Leech Life, Mega Drain.

Skybolt (Level 1 female Skarmory)
Hidden Power: Fire.
Signature Move: "Fell Wind" (Flying); Using considerable energy, Skybolt flaps her wings and generates a powerful wind, in a similar manner to Whirlwind. The target is blown backwards and forced to retreat into their pokéball as if they'd used a switching move like Baton Pass. This move will fail if the target is the last remaining pokémon that its trainer may use in the battle. This move is usable once per battle and Skybolt cannot use Roost.

Death (Level 1 male Cubone)
Hidden Power: Ghost.

Moist von Lipwig (Level 1 male Delibird)
Hidden Power: Fire.

Jadis (Level 1 female Snover)
Hidden Power: Dark.

Mario (Level 6 male Poliwrath); Mario is one half of the amazing travelling circus known as 'Mario and Luigi's House of Japanese Imperialism'. He is never seen without his trademark red hat, except when battling, whereupon he leaves it on the sidelines while unleashing a can of whoopass on the opponent. Along with his brother, Luigi, Mario used to traverse the land, providing entertainment to many thousands of children over his life. Mario's favourite act was the mock bull fight, where he would entice an opponent to charge at him, whip out his cape and send them back the way they came. Small children used to love this act, delighting in running happily at Mario only to be flipped around. Now older, Mario no longer has a real cape, but since joining my team has remembered what he used to do with rose tinted eyes on many occasions. With a little practice, Mario has learned to create a cape from energy and use it to redirect opposing pokémon.
Hidden Power: Fire.
Signature Move: "Deflector Cape" (Normal); Summoning energy equal to a Thunderbolt, Mario creates a cape out of Normal type energy and swings it in an elaborate twist. The cape is about a metre squared in size and, should a good part of it come into contact with a pokémon of similar or lesser height than Mario, that pokémon will become enveloped for a moment before reappearing, facing the opposite direction. This does not interrupt attacks but rather causes them to miss. For example, were a pokémon to attempt a punching move on Mario, he would use his Deflector Cape and turn them around, whereupon they would punch the air. Were they using a projectile attack, the same would happen. Deflector Cape can be used on attacks like Tackle but the timing must be perfect as this is much harder to pull off if the pokémon is some distance away. Creating the cape only takes a second, and the cape fades immediately after use. This move may be used only once per battle.

Luigi (Level 6 male Politoed); Luigi is one half of the amazing travelling circus known as 'Mario and Luigi's House of Japanese Imperialism'. Never seen without his trademark green hat, like his brother he only takes it off to do battle. Luigi loved the travelling circus business, loving the people he saw and the children he entertained. Luigi's favourite act was the one where he was fired out of a cannon into a tiny pool of water. He always loved the thrill of flying through the air, relishing in the feeling of being higher than anyone else. Unable to use his fold up cannon now that he resides with me, Luigi worked hard to make himself skilled enough to mimic the effects. The result of his work is a little erratic, but sometimes it works wonderfully and brings great joy to anyone watching.
Hidden Power: Ghost.
Signature Move: "Green Missile" (Normal/Fire); When Luigi is ordered to use Skull Bash, there is a 10% chance that instead of Skull Bash occurring, Green Missile will occur. This results in him hurtling through the air at great speed, surrounded by an enlarged aura that, for some reason, is on fire. The increase in speed and change in aura means that this attack deals 1.5x the damage of a normal Skull Bash, at 1.25x the energy. Half of this damage is Normal typed while the other half is Fire typed, thus meaning that upon completion Luigi is considered to have used up all his Fire energy. When Green Missile occurs, Luigi takes 25% recoil damage upon impact. Use of Green Missile is both random and involuntary (he cannot be ordered to use Green Missile and cannot choose whether or not to do it), but can only occur once per battle.

Mrs Toad (Level 6 female Seismitoad); Mrs Toad is the estranged wife of the infamous dandy Mr Toad, said individual being the wealthy occupant and owner of the famous Toad Hall. Mrs Toad is, unlike her husband, humble, selfless and extremely down to Earth. Her qualities as a lovely individual are matched only by her abilities on the battlefield, which is why I invited her to come travelling with me upon rescuing her from her husband's attempt to fly using a bamboo biplane. Mrs Toad has forever had to deal with her husband's ridiculous hobbies, such as motor cars and flying machines. Her exasperation with her husband led to her developing an exceptional skill for shooting down her husband's airborne contraptions and stopping Toad in his tracks. On the many occasions in which she has had to flee swiftly from her impending doom by way of parachute or duck and roll, she has wondered how useful it would be to be able to simply whisk herself away from such danger. Upon joining my team, I taught her exactly how to achieve such things, granting her the capacity to bail out of any situation she felt unwise to be in. An affinity with flying granted her the energy necessary to make it work.
Hidden Power: Steel.
Signature Move: "Pull the Chute" (Flying); Charging a significant amount of energy to surround herself in an aura of Flying typed energy, Mrs Toad slams in to the target feet first, releasing part of the energy into them to deal moderate damage and knock them back somewhat before pulling her chute and returning to her pokéball, with a new pokémon being sent out in her place. When the new pokémon is sent out, it gains the exact physical and psychological mindset she was experiencing in the same way as U-Turn. This move can be used once per battle.

Forgetting Man (Level 1 male Slowpoke); Uh... oh yes. This is Forgetting Man. Forgetting Man is an old Slowbro hailing from the Seafoam Islands. He almost remembers the day when these damn Dark types didn't ruin everything for everyone. Damn kids, GET OFF MY LAWN!
Hidden Power: Rock.
Signature Move: "Ponder" (Psychic); Forgetting Man concentrates his energy into his mind, tghtening it up and focussing on Special moves. In doing so, he is able to deliver more power with special attacks as well as take more special based damage. However, thanks to this concentration, he isn't able to move as quickly. The amount of change in status is up to the referee, although it usually will be about 1/3 increase in special defence and special attack, with a 1/2 reduction in speed. Standard boost stipulations apply. Essentially, any moves which would be affected by Curse, offensively or defensively, are not affected by Ponder, while those moves which would not be affected by Curse are affected. Ponder uses good energy. Forgetting Man cannot use Calm Mind or Hyper Beam.

Ruby (Level 6 genderless Starmie); Ruby was a pokémon I captured very early in my journey. With a glowing core and an affinity for special moves, it has always been a valued member of my team. It showed great aptitude at blasting targets to smithereens with ranged moves and, over time, learned to be formidable at close range as well. However, with an aggressive trainer like myself in command, it soon figured out that it needed a way to keep its energy levels up in battle. Often, it would end up running hot after only a few minutes in battle, the toll of constantly churning out high yield attacks too much for it. To this end, it developed a trait that would allow it to use the restoring powers of water to gain back some energy. While no substitute for conservative battling, it does a great job of showing off Ruby's aquatic attributes.
Hidden Power: Dark.
Signature Trait: "Hydro Power"; At the end of every round in which Ruby is touching a decent sized body of water and not at maximum energy, it will restore a light amount of energy. Up to 1/3 of its total energy may be restored in this way. Polluted water will cause slower regeneration, with only minor energy restored, while purified or highly oxygenated water can allow for faster regeneration with mild energy restored. Only decent sized bodies of water such as a river or lake can trigger this effect. Rainfall and small puddles are insufficient. Ruby cannot use Rest or Giga Impact.

Thunder (Level 6 female Gyarados); Caught in the Lake of Rage one stormy night after a drinking binge, Thunder is a Gyarados and thus cannot lose. Hers is a tale of great struggle and pain. Her evolution necessitated a great leap atop one of Johto's greatest waterfalls, the subsequent fatigue and madness causing her to wander aimlessly until she came to the lake. She is also a Gyarados with a sense of poetry, or irony as Americans are wont to incorrectly label it. She knows that she has an Achilles heel, but she attacks it with pride and attaches it to her massive frame. Having grown from a Magikarp by leaping over a waterfall, she is quick and strong, able to lithely combat any foe. Her prowess as a leaper has followed through in to a signature move, a fierce display of aerial prowess and draconic might.
Hidden Power: Fighting.
Signature move: "Leaping Karp" (Flying); Surrounding herself with Flying energy, Thunder rushes at her target and tackles them heavily. Given enough of a run up, Thunder can launch herself many metres in to the air in order to strike airborne foes. This attack deals solid damage for considerable energy. Because of the speed and power of the attack, there is a 20% chance that foes will be confused by the attack.

Fish (Level 6 male Whiscash); Fish is an absolutely kick arse fish in that he is so Zen he can Meditate on how absolutely kick arse he is. He is so kick arse, he once had a fight with a knife in which the knife lost. He doesn't dive underwater, the water rushes up to meet him and give him a big bear hug. In fact, actual bears help the water along because Fish is the ancient ancestor of all bears and can turn into a giant bear at any time. Had he a beard, he would be Chuck Norris. Since he has no beard, he is Fish, the Whiscash.
Hidden Power: Bug.
Signature Trait: "Zen for the Wen"; Fish can use Meditate and Calm Mind. He cannot use Frustration or Thrash.

Discord: Level 2 Male Murkrow
Bio: Exploring the small forests in my hometown was always a great adventure shared by all the kids living there. However, none of us dared to stay in one particular patch of woods behind my best friend's house. There were stories told to everyone by the older kids, that past the small stream near the edge of the forest, lived thousands and thousands of ghosts, who only revealed themselves on nights with little moonlight. Admiring these older boys, my friends never questioned these stories. But I, being the logical thinker of the group, never believed in the supernatural. At the very least, I knew there was no way there were thousands of ghosts in that forest. On my 13th birthday, I guess I became one of the older kids, so I decided to finally prove everyone wrong. That night, I took a backpack containing the bare necessities of a night in the woods, walked to my friends house, and crossed a river. My friend saw me walking up to and past his house, and ran after me, asking what I was thinking. After explaining, he decided to go with me. I waited while he packed, then we ventured off and past the flowing, shining boundary. We laid out our sleeping bags, and after eating some marshmellows (Not burned since we were too young to be starting fires), we headed to sleep. A few minutes later, I began hearing faint Ooooh's and Aaaaah's, which sounded like they were trying too hard to sound creepy. They began getting louder and louder, and my friend began shaking. Then suddenly, two eyes appeared almost directly in front of my friend. He jolted up and ran towards his house, right out of the woods. While the eyes were coming towards me, showing shock at the fact that I wasn't running, I heard a strange laugh, one that was obviously being held back. It sounded like...crowing, however. The sound seemed to be coming from behind a bush, so I ran towards it after grabbing my flashlight. I shined the light behind the bush, and there was a Murkrow, who jumped straight up, wide-eyed in shock at the fact I hadn't run away and found him instead. I quickly glanced behind me, and saw the eerie eyes fade away. I had never heard of any Murkrow able to create such strong illusions before. I focused now on that special Pokemon, who had recovered from its shock and was now studying me with its piercing red eyes. In an act I only thought was possible on television, he (I would learn that later) flew up and landed on my shoulder. I walked back to my bag and grabbed one of the few Pokeballs I always keep in it, and he seemed fine with going into it. For the rest of my time in that town, we would show off his amazing skill, which now that he wasn't making ghosts in a dark forest, entertained everyone both young and old. Since he caused so much chaos among my friends, I decided that Discord would be a fitting name for him. I grew to find that he was a lot like I had assumed when I first met him, chaotic, unpredictable at times, a prankster, and he always wants to have fun, sometimes at other people's expense. In battle, he prefers to keep his distance from the opponent and strike them with ranged attacks, such as winds. At times, he will resort to trickery to gain the upper-hand. He can also use his perfected ghost illusions in battle with his signature move: ~~~CS~~~

Talvi: Level 1 Female Snover
Bio: Talvi is the winter. She brings the flurries of the season wherever she goes. She shares a deep connection with the earth, allowing her to form the landscape around her into her favorite wintry style. She can effect the soil as well, by either taking its nutrients or supplying it with it. Because of her love of winter and the fact she perpetually lives in it, Talvi has become much colder in both attacking and personality, only truly loving the land and its flora and fauna.

Tauri: Level 1 Staryu
Bio: Tauri is extremely passionate about everything it does, and it will always do its job to the best of its ability, whether that's training for battle or simply swimming out to retrieve something dropped in the water. Tauri can be a hothead from time to time, and it doesn't particularly love the ruckus Discord causes, but they have learned to co-exist. For a while, Tauri helped with the hot springs in Lavaridge Town. It developed a fondness for the springs and hot water, sometimes soaking in them for days. They would also help it calm down when it got stressed out over a particularly difficult job, among other things. One day, about six months after Tauri began helping out at the springs, it was given the job of refilling some of the pools that needed some new, clean water. This occured after Tauri had spent a personal record long 5 days soaking in one of the springs. Upon letting out a Hydro Pump to fill it up, Tauri sensed the water was heated before it hit the pool. In fact, it was pre heated inside Tauri's body. Now there was something besides Tauri's passion inside it.

Lockheed: Level 1 Genderless Magnemite
Named after one of the key components of the American Space Program's Apollo 11 Mission, Lockheed was originally designated for research in alternate propulsion methods using nothing but magnetism as an energy source. The Mossdeep Space Centre dedicated large amounts of attention, research and funding to this project, which would eventually revolutionize the transport industry in the Johto and Kanto Regions with the introduction of the Magnet Train. Lockheed can proudly boast being one of the original Pokémon used in the production of this innovative system, something he is very proud off and continues to remind at every opportunity he gets, even moreso these days. However, during his rookie years as a Magnemite serving research, he was constantly exposed to extremely cold temperatures over long periods of time as a way to constantly improve the power of his magnetic force. It seems this prolonged exposure to the cold has changed him somewhat, turning his cold metal into even colder metal, cold to the touch, and often seen shivering, it seems our brave hero took something other than just pride and experience with him when he finished his days as a research subject.

Sigrún: Level 1 Female Feebas
I originally met Sigrún during an expedition to the Northernmost reaches of Sweden, in what could only be described as the most unusual of circumstances, let alone places. While investigating a mountain range far off to the North, the Team came upon a most surprising sight. Leaning against a solid wall of rock, there lay a lonely tree, lush and green among the frozen wastes of the summit's plateau. Surrounding this particular tree, as if protected by the Nordic Gods themselves, there was a patch of land seemingly separated from the cold weather of the mountain. Much like the tree, the patch was green and grass grew, short yet strong. In front of the tree, however, lay a small puddle of water where there be a few Feebas. This spring was apparently filled with water that seeped in from the tree, or rather, from the snow melting as it came into contact with the tree, generating a small flow of water that eventually made it into the pond. These Feebas, believed to be otherwise absent from the Region, were strong and healthy, as if having drunk the pond's water made them grow and develop better than others of their kind. It was in this hallowed place than a lone Feebas approached the edge, looking ever vigilant at the Pokémon of the Team. Having made her mind, Sigrún realized she could achieve that which none of her kind had otherwise, freedom. Taking the chance, she voluntarily joined Team 422 as a way to explore the world that she was otherwise separated from for who knows how long.

Valkof: Male Shellder Level 1
Bio: [CLASSIFIED]
Hidden Power: Ground
Special Training: Hopping Fortress (Water)
Valkof has learnt how to expell large volumes of pressurized water out of his body as a way of transport. Not only does this mean that he is familiar with the move Aqua Jet, which he may perform at will, but also, he has become able to perform the moves Double Edge, Take Down, Tackle, Facade, Payback, Clamp and Agility on land by expulsing volumes of stored water out of his backside at high pressure in order to generate a push that allows him to move despite his lack of limbs. This means that all of the aforementioned moves have an increased Energy cost equal worth Light Energy to perform. In addition, the length of distance he can hop both, as a Shellder and as a Cloyster is also greatly increased, and in water, he can move similarly to how a Sharpedo does, by expulsing water out of his backside, moving slightly faster than the usual Cloyster.

Tabitha: Female Honchkrow Level 3
Bio: [CLASSIFIED]
Hidden Power: Fighting
Special Attack: Dread Wind (Dark)
Using Heavy Energy, Tabitha flaps her winds and sends forth a small gust of wind along with a figure in the shape of a Murkrow towards her Opponents as it moves at reasonable speed and inflicts Solid damage upon impact. Tabitha's Opponents hit by Dread Wind are afflicted with nightmarish visions of their worst fears, stopping anything they may be doing at the moment and finding themselves compelled to run in the Opposite direction of Tabitha from 1 to 2 seconds before the spell is broken. In addition, Tabitha's Opponents that are hit by Dread Wind become uneasy around Tabitha, having their Defence and Special Defence reduced by the equivalent of a Cosmic Power for up to 2 Rounds. Tabitha cannot use Dread Wind against the same target twice, and she can only use it twice per Battle.

Judith: Female Haunter Level 3
Bio: [CLASSIFIED]
Hidden Power: Fire
Special Training: Sneak Attack (XX)
Judith has always been quite serious when in Battle, and through her Training she has found a way in which she may apply her natural talents as a Ghost while still nabbing a very useful ability along the way. Once per Round, and up to four times per Battle, Judith may add Sneak Attack to any of her commands (Such as Sneak Attack Thunderbolt, Sneak Attack Hidden Power, etc.). This brings about a damage increase of 10% to that attack, at the cost of 10% extra Energy. However, she may only perform Sneak Attack commands when she is behind her opponent, or when her opponent would be relatively ignorant of her location. In addition, she has learned the moves Smokescreen and Poison Gas thanks to her Training in the art of stealth. However, due to that same Training, she has forgotten the Moves Return, Frustration, Perish Song, Grudge, Rain Dance, Snore and Sunny Day, since they were not adequate to the style of Battle she wished to adopt. She cannot use Sneak Attack two Rounds in a row, having to wait at least one Round between uses. Also, she cannot use any 'Charge' Moves more than a Quick Charge, and she may not use any Sneak Attack Move more than once.

Heinz: Male Quagsire Level 3
Bio: [CLASSIFIED]
Hidden Power: Fighting
Special Attack: Master's Secret Brew (Water)
Using Significant Energy, Heinz will fire a stream of Water aimed at his Opponent, similar to a Scald, yet, this version is only slightly warm, and it does not hav any Burn chance nor does it inflict Fire damage. However, this stream of water is actually a blend of tea Heinz has managed to produce naturally due to his love of eating the leaves necesarry to brew this particular formula. Upon impact, Heinz's Opponent will be inflicted Solid damage, and in addition, a numbing effect will kick in thanks to the special property of the blend of tea Heinz fired at his Opponent. This particular blend of tea was made to ease the mind and remove stress, which makes Heinz's enemies slightly more resilient to mind affecting moves and way harder to intimidate. However, this particular herb mix will also make them unable to utilize Grass Energy from 2 to 3 Rounds, thanks to the properties of the herbs included in the mix soothing the mind and blocking certain neurotransmitters that allow the use of said Energy. This attack does not affect Grass Types, and it can only be used twice per Battle, never more than once on the same Opponent. The soothing effects of Master's Secret Brew will last as long as the limitation of using Grass Energy stays active, and this move is unaffected by Sunny Day or other effects such as Harsh Sunlight or any dry Arena.

Roxanne: Level 3 Female Gliscor
Bio: [CLASSIFIED]
Hidden Power: Flying
Special Attack: Cutthroat (XX)
Roxanne has truly embraced the path of Ninjutsu, and thus has perfected a move that enables her to strike with deadly precision her foes' weak points. Upon command, Roxanne will quickly raise her altitude and fly behind her Opponent in one quick maneuver, attempting to Dodge any Move that comes her way while she flying at high speed. Once she is behind her Opponent she comes to a full stop, and she can follow up with any Physical Attack she has access to, granting it a Boost akin to a Swords Dance, and an increased 10% Chance to cause any Added Effect, if any. Cutthroat in itself does not inflict Damage, and it costs Solid Energy to perform. She may only use Cutthroat every 2 Rounds, 2 times per Battle, and she has forgotten the Moves Return, Frustration, Swagger, Hyper Beam and Giga Impact. She may not use Cutthroat as part of a 3 Move Combo, nor she may use it without any follow up Moves, Charge-Up Moves, or Special Moves as she considers it wasteful, and the Boosts granted by Cutthroat disappear as soon as the Round in which she used them is over, whether she hits the follow up Move or not.

Zelgius: Male Lucario Level 4*
Bio: [CLASSIFIED]
Hidden Power: Psychic
Special Training: Daunt (XX)
Zelgius' presence is a powerful force by itself, and it is evidenced by the fear he strikes into his Opponent's hearts with the sheer vision of his power. Any Pokemon that stands within a distance of 10m of Zelgius will be impacted by his presence, and thus, their attacks will inflict 10% less damage, but cost 10% less energy due to the nervousness Zelgius evokes on other Pokemon when standing nearby. However, Pokemon that are naturally intimidating such as Aerodactyl and Gyarados are less likely to be affected, and their attack's damage and energy cost will only be reduced by 5% instead. Daunt is always active as long as the Opponent Pokemon stands within a distance of 10m from Zelgius, it cannot be removed, stopped or turned off, and it affects all Pokemon within the 10m radius, even Zelgius' companions during Double Battles.

Mercury: Genderless Rotom-W Level 1
Bio: Named after the Greek Messenger of the Gods, which is also the name of the Planet closest to the Sun, Mercury was chosen to become part of the Mossdeep Space Program as a emergency engineer while on board of any exploration mission he may find himself at. A neat freak by nature, he is skilled at infiltrating electronic devices, much like any Rotom, he was trained to be able to hold control over larger and more complex devices than others of his kind. Mercury was also part of an initiative led by the Mossdeep Space Program in order to develop machinery to be sustained solely through Rotom's electricity, and solar panel generated power. When the time came for Mercury to be launched into orbit, he accomplished his duties admirably, surpassing the expectations of many of the scientists at the Agency. Yet, while on orbit, Mercury found out a certain piece of equipment, and a very unlikely one at that, that caught his eye; a washing machine. Owing it to his personality, Mercury was quite satisfied with his new role, for as silly as it may be, keeping cosmonauts and equipment free of dust and test-ready was perhaps his true calling. Sharp witted and smart, Mercury is always prepared to let his allies, and opponents, know what true cleanliness is, be it by the hand of his gentle cycle, or the full fury of his strongest spin.
Hidden Power: Fire
Signature Move: [CLASSIFIED]

Athena: Genderless Staryu Level 1
Bio: Named after the Greek Godess of Wisdom, which is in turn the namesake of a rocket model, Athena was introduced to Space Exploration as a way to purify and recycle limited supplies of water available on board that was not disposed off along waste material. Yet, while she was exposed to numerous conditions and chemicals, she always managed to remain crisp and healthy, even despite her prolonged exposure to conditions that would probably afflict many other Pokémon under normal conditions. It is this extraordinary capability for regeneration and purification that brought her under the scope of the Mossdeep Research Centre. Upon closer research, it was revealed that Athena has an extremely well developed immune system that removes impurities out of the water that circulates her body with near perfect results. With this new discovery, Athena was even more thrilled to serve under the Mossdeep Space Centre as a way to improve research and sanitation techniques, both on land, and in space, one day hoping to make a real stride on the field of medicine thanks to her natural talents.
Hidden Power: Electric
Signature Move: [CLASSIFIED]

Zenith: Genderless Solrock Level 1
Bio: Named after the highest point in the Heavens a Celestial Body can reach, Zenith has proven himself to be an invaluable asset at Space Exploration thanks to his capabilities to generate Energy directly from sunlight. However, Zenith's capabilities are far beyond the reach of any normal Solrock, eventually gaining enough experience and skill to power several electronic devices with his energy alone while out at Squad 422's Space Station, as requested by the Mossdeep Space Program. According to several analysis and tests, it has been discovered that there is some yet to be found compound within his mineral structure that allows him to manipulate sunlight and electricity freely, granting him access to his particular abilities. Yet, he is way more than a large, solar-powered battery; he is a solemn individual, armed with a personality of his own, and limitless potential. Yet, he always seems to be happy to provide more than a bit of power to help his comrades out whenever they need a little light.
Hidden Power: Fire
Signature Move: [CLASSIFIED]

Europa: Genderless Cryogonal Level 1
Bio: Named after the frozen moon of the planet Jupiter, Europa is every bit as cold as her appearance and personality suggest. Originally, she was part of a secret Cryonics Research Project led by the Mossdeep Space Program as a way to allow Cosmonauts to make long space journeys unscathed. Europa, along several of her fellow Cryogonal, were sent to orbit numerous times as a way to perform solid experimentation on people and Pokemon alike. While Europa almost always reached her goal of completely freezing her target for the duration of the experiment, none of her fellow Cryogonal managed to achieve the same level of perfection she could muster, nor could they reanimate their subjects as smoothly as she could. Declared to be one of the few successful applicants to the experiment, she was recruited by the Mossdeep Space Program, even after the Cryonics Research Project itself was put on ice. It was within the agency that I came across her, as Cryogonal were handed to promising recruits for use in various fields of study. Even now, a while after I originally received her, Codename Europa remains cold and distant to her peers. Yet, she seems to be slowly warming up to the crew, and is always ready to lend her abilities to the Team whenever she is necessary.
Hidden Power: Bug
Signature Move: [CLASSIFIED]

Soyuz: GenderLess Metang Level 3
Bio: Named after the powerhouse of the Soviet Space Program, the Soyuz Rocket, Soyuz has always been a very trusty, sturdy hunk of metal. Originally found nearby the Baikonur Cosmodrome, from where he draws his name, he was very much obsessed with the rockets that so often would take off from the nearby facility. Always fascinated by the hardy materials and structure of rockets, he continued to watch and research his passion, even after I took him in. Always looking for ways to become stronger, he has tempered his body to the extreme, gaining not only reinforced armour, but also an iron will to accommodate as he continues to reach for the stars, forever obsessed with reaching farther and farther into the Great Beyond. The reinforced durability of his materials did not come cheap, as he was also part of an experiment by the Mossdeep Space Program as a way to find a stronger material to build rockets with. Voluntarily choosing to endure through extreme heat and other harsh conditions as a way to test his mettle, he was eventually declared a success. Now, his current composition is the standard-issue for the Mossdeep Space Program's rockets. Believing in strength thought unity, he is more than happy to move things around, be it with his skilled mind, or his impressive physique.
Hidden Power: Fighting
Special Training: Pavise (Steel)
Whenever Soyuz is set to become the target of any Status Effect (Paralyzis, Poison, Burn, Freeze, Confusion or Sleep), there's a 25% chance that Pavise will activate, nullifying the Status Effect in it's entirety while substracting a Decent amount of Energy from his pool in a manner similar to Refresh. However, this does not have a tiring effect upon Soyuz, but quite the contrary, as he would become rather refreshed by the sudden Energy flow. Pavise may only be activated while Soyuz holds an amount of Energy equal to half of his total Energy reserve or higher, and it can only activate up to two times per Battle.

Apollo: Genderless Bronzor Level 2*
Bio: [CLASSIFIED]
Hidden Power: Water

Approved Sigs and Bios will be in here, sorry :p

Spoiler: show
Nimbus: Male, Lv.1 Castform
Nimbus is a calm and relaxed Castform who is also very lethargic. He's normally found sleeping or playing in the clouds instead of battling, and often changes to weather to fit with his mood. He's a slacker, and normally puts in half his effort when battling, but when he has to he puts a more laid back, tactical approach towards battling. He's also the sane one out of the group, and has to put up with the other's antics.

He met Lost in the Hoenn region, during an unexpected snowstorm in the Mt. Chimney area(which is more or less his doing). Lost noticed that Nimbus had a better handle of the weather than most other Castform, and it looked like he [Nimbus] could absorb that weather into himself, and shoot a large burst of energy, whatever corresponded to the current weather, that was devastating, but it had really poor accuracy and left Nimbus on the verge of collapse. Lost also noticed that the move stopped the current weather as well. After some training of this technique, Lost was able to at least make Nimbus able to at least able to battle again after the move is used. Lost soon dubbed this special attack “Weather Burst”

Special Attack: Weather Burst (Various)
Nimbus draws in the current weather, and spending a huge amount of energy (about a hyper beam worth), shoots an orb like burst at the opponent, dealing roughly a Hyper Beam of damage (plus any boosts that the weather would give). The move takes on the same effects as Weather Ball, being Water in rain, and so forth. After the move is done, the current weather disappears and Nimbus will be severely tired next turn. He will not be able to use any type energy of the burst he used, and can no longer use moves such as Work Up, Disable, Mimic, and Hex. This move can only be used once per match.

Hidden Power: Flying

Lily: Female Lv. 1 Petalil
Lily is always a shy, timid pokemon who prefers to be with flowers than fight. In fact, she's often hiding in any plant life she can instead of battling, or even meeting new people. She normally doesn't do well on big adventures or in large crowds, and prefers not to battle. She does however take care of the group, besides her much timid nature. In battle she does more of a flee and run type of tactic, much to Lost's annoyance, but she honestly tries her hardest due to her inferiority complex. She met Lost in Pinwheel forest, cowering from a pack of Whirlipede

Hidden Power: Rock

Bolt: Male Lv. 1 Shinx
Bolt is a fiery and peppy Shinx who always barges head first into battle, most of the time without thinking. He always has an agressive style and doesn't take defensive as an option, unless Lost orders him to, much to Bolt's annoyance. While he's bashful at times, Bolt has a strong sense of loyalty and will stand up for his fellow teammates, but most of the time ends up as a detriment instead of a boon. He was actually Lost's starter pokemon, and the two are in a sort of a love/hate relationship

Hidden Power: Dragon

Wisp: Male Lv. 1 Litwick
Wisp is a young, tricky Pokemon who likes to play pranks, usually by teleporting himself around. Wisp is the youngest of the group, and so he's the most naive and curious of the group, and often likes to play pranks and have fun with the others, but most of the time he becomes an annoyance. In battle he likes to abuse his wax-like state, his ghost abilities, and teleportation; making it hard for opponents to hit him. Though he doesn't like to actually listen, which can be annoying. He was given to Lost as an egg

Special Training: Trickster (Psychic)
Wisp has learned Teleport.

Hidden Power: Ice

Sakura: Female Lv. 1 Ralts
Sakura is a nice Pokemon who likes to help others, but normally sticks her head in books or is praying to the Shinto gods. She is a bookworm, and can get so immersed in a book she doesn't get aware of the outside world, but she does help those in need, when she notices them or a god tells her to. She often daydreams as well, which is usually actually visiting the Shinto gods, which doesn't help her as much as she wants it to. She met Lost in Oldale town in the Hoenn region, in a run down, abandoned praying to whatever Shinto god that the shrine use to hold. Their Lost noticed a whimsical sight, a sort of blessing was given to the Ralts, greatly boosting her will power and psyche. It seems that the god’s blessing to her was able to give her a more clear mind, and heightened abilities. Intrigued, Lost offered the Ralts a spare book he had, and she instantly turned towards him and grabbed the book and started to read. Lost deducted she only would read books on lore or on the human psyche. Catching her, he tested the full extent of her ability to receive a blessing. In battle against her, he noticed she was a lot slower, but sturdier as well. He helped the Ralts gather more faith, eventually to call down the god’s blessing whenever she pleases, but will only do it on Lost’s command or to spread faith.

Special Technique: Kotoki Miko (Psychic)
Making a prayer towards her god, Sakura receives a blessing that boosts her defenses and special attack by a small amount, while greatly lowering her speed. This blessing also clears her mind of any confusion or anger, but the blessing also requires a lot of energy (roughly a thunderbolt’s) to give to the god to work. Since she is a pure Shrine Maiden, Sakura can’t use the moves Charm, Attract, Taunt, Torment, Trick, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, and can only evolve into a Gardevoir. Sakura can only make the prayer once a match.

Man, I need to redo some of these bio's and sigs.

Spoiler: show
Abyss: Gyarados Level 4 Male (Up Level)
Bio: Ever since he evolved Abyss has been wondering why he had been cursed with a secondary typing that didn't match him at all. Sure there were other like him that could be called miss typed but Gyarados's seem to be at the top of the pyramid of unreasonable secondary typing. Unlike other Water/Flying types he had no real flying type moves to go with his typing. One day after once again being forced to face defeat due to his secondary typing Abyss decided to do away with it.
Among the Gyarados race their is a rumor of an ancient training ground in the far depths of the ocean filled with the power of the sea. Not knowing where exactly the training ground was Abyss began to dive to extreme depths to explore every undersea cave and canyon he came across in his search. Eventually he became well know among Pokemon and humans alike as Abyss the exploring Gyarados, being an explorer myself I decided to try my best to meet this seemingly like minded Pokemon of the deep. Having a familiar hobby/occupation wasn't safe enough ground to encounter the Pokemon for he still was a wild Gyarados, which everyone knows can be very dangerous.
Around a year latter after lots of research and some cash invested into underwater legends and ruins I believed myself ready to meet and if necessary bargain with the Gyarados. I was hoping to meet him on my next underwater expedition in the Hoenn region in which Abyss had been sighted in recently. Jirachi must have heard my wish and granted it for as the submarine surfaced in the underwater cave we encountered him.
He didn't seem to care that much about our presence as he stared intently at a mural carved into the cavern wall. Many of us were puzzled at the odd letter or rather symbols inscribed, we tried to solve it there but ran out of time for the operation for that day so we had to return to the surface.
Close to a week later the expedition was canceled and everyone but me went to the next field to work. Being intrigued by the cave and the resident who had taken up residence there I hung around trying to break the code. Eventually I gave up and went down to the cave with a punch of different tools need to tear the place apart if needed, since the community had discarded the ruins as of no importance I could do as i wish to the ruins. I was placing some explosives around the mural when I accidentally hit a button that opened up a path way, as the pathway opened I was bowled over by Abyss as he raced into the room ahead.
The room glowed a pale blue light that gave it the impression that it was filled with water, the light itself came from countless water stones that made the room itself. In the center of the room appeared to be a alter of sorts with a large egg shell that was to big for any common Pokemon. Upon inspecting the alter I was able to decipher that this was where the legendary Kyogre was born and where the power of the sea was the strongest.
Abyss was busy bathing in the glow of the oceans energy inside what remained of the giant egg shell, this energy soaked his entire being down to his DNA changing him into a pure water type at last. To show thanks for my small part in helping him achieve his goal he decided to join my team.
Hidden Power: Ghost
Type Change: Pure Water
Abyss no longer has his secondary typing of flying. Since he bathed in the light that was the source of all water he is susceptible to attraction moves used by all water types of the opposite gender, this is only a one way attraction as he is still limited to attracting Pokemon from his same egg group. The type change also affect other moves in his move pool along with the wind based move Abyss has forgotten Fire Blast, Giga Impact, Double Team, and Double-Edge.

Tenchi: Gallade level 4 Male (Uplevel)
Bio: Years of practice of the fine arts and meditation under that frigid waterfall have left Kite very connected with his surroundings. So much so that he can barrow a sliver of the energy around him for a battle.
Hidden Power: Water
Speacial Training: One with Nature
Kite gains an additional moderate amount of typed energy to use during battle. The type gained varies with the arena like Natural Gift, if the arena is lawn Kite will gain grass type energy, if clay then ground, etc. When battling in the Shifting arena he only gains the bonus type energy of the first arena he enters, even if he's switch the bonus will not change. This does not increase his total amount of energy, just the amount of specified type energy he has at his disposal.

Momo: Dratini level 3 Female
Hidden Power: Grass
Special Training: Hand off
Being my starter Pokemon Rose has grown accustom to switching out at the last minute to one of her weaker comrades in order to help train them, however since ASB battles are unlike wild encounters she is now not able to switch out like she's use to doing. In order to fix this problem she learned how to use Baton Pass, but to accomplish this she had to forget the moves Blizzard, Thunder, and Fire Blast.

Tequila: Lombre Level 3 Male
Bio: Despite how many people and Pokemon judge Tequila by his name he is not a drinker but a brewer of heavy drinks. Using his unique type combination to brew the drinks within his own body, his grass typing provides various sugar based sap that is then mixed with a filtrated water perfect for alcoholic based drinks. The finished brew collects in his lily pad making it a natural sake dish which he then bottles and sells.
Hidden Power: Ground
Special Attack: Booze Cannon (Water)
Using a considerable amount of energy Tequila draws upon his unfinished brew from within his body in a steady stream of water. The water itself only does Good damage, but the alcohol in the water has a 50% chance of causing confusion and a 10% chance of making them drowsy. This attack has no secondary effects on non-organic Pokemon for the obvious reason that they wouldn't be affected by alcohol.

Kyousuke: Metang level 3 Neutral
Bio: After taking one look at his steel type move pool in comparison to his psychic one he knew instantly something wasn't right with that. Instead of going down the path of furhter steel knowledge Beta pursued to further increase his powers in the psychic department.
Hidden Power: Water
Special Training: Psychic Power
After downloading and upgrading himself many times Beta has increased his power with Psychic's telekinesis ability and is now able to use Psychic to lift up to twice his weight, though lifting more than the normal maximum will cost more energy than normal. In order for him to accomplish this he had to remove the programs for the following attacks Magnet Rise, Hyper Beam, Sludge Bomb, Gravity, Gyro Ball, Substitute, Refresh, Explosion, and Self Destruct. This additional telekinetic power only applies to objects.

Ryo Oki: Metang level 3 Neutral
Bio:Gamma decided to go down the road that my other Metang didn't and decided to focus on making his steel typing a bit more usable. After some thinking and Google searches Beta devised a new technique for a steel typed attack.
Hidden Power: Fire
Special Attack: Ion Cannon
Beta charges steel energy in the same manner as a Flash Cannon before firing a shinning golden beam of Steel energy that deals Major damage. This attack has a 30% chance to cause confusion due to the bright flashes of light.

Rose: Rotom level 1 Female
Hidden Power: Grass
(Will be dropping current sig if this passes)
Bio: Rose has always felt cheated by fate when it came to her move pool. She was one of the few ghosts that didn't get a grass type move, even water and fire type ghost got one why didn't she? Half of this frustration came from her past life were she was a gardener who loved raising flowers, but now she was forcefully seperated from not only her flowers but from the type energy that she loved so dearly. This eventually grew into deep and vile thoughts towards everything around her.*
When she entered one of her dark moods she unconciously generated powerful power surges that caused continual problems for the locals who lost power on a daily bases. Seeing some similarities between her and my other ghost Mark I struck a bargain with her. If I was able to get her to ba able to use grass type attacks again she'd join me on my journeys. It was a good month later when she was able to pull off a grass type move and true to her word she joined my party, but her dark moods have stayed with her for some reason.
Special Training: Green Thumb
Rose has learned Energy Ball.

Shiho: Kirlia level 3 Female
Hidden Power: Ground
(Sig being redone to match new evolution stage)

Sand: Rhyhorn level 3 Female
Bio: Many a battle has Sand lost due to her poor typing that leaves her with multiple quad weakness with few perks in return, eventually she grew tired of being trolled by anything that could use Grass or Water type moves and decided to do away with the burdensome Rock typing she carried. She decided the best way to accomplish this was to simply rub and polish off all her rock type features so she started to develop a daily routine to accomplish his goal. The first part of her routine was to spend two hours using rock polish to shave off any loose fragments of rocks left on her from the previous days work out, next she suffered through one hundred rock slides that she used to crack her own rocks so to speak, to end her regiment she would sit in the rain and be pelted with ice attacks to break the rock type nature down even further. She repeated this torture for over a year before her body could take no more and she went into a comma. Sand later awoke at a nearby Pokecenter after having surgery done on her, apparently her rock type energy felt that it was under attack, which it was, and had started to attack her ground type characteristics. Being the one who brought her into the center the doctors charged me for the operation and gave me medicine that would stop Sand's body from destroying itself. Long term side effects of the condition combined with the medicine would cancel out his rock typing, but would make her much weaker as a ground type.
Hidden Power: Ghost
Type Change: Down to Earth (Pure Ground)
Sand is now a pure ground type. She has lost his rock type resistance. Sand has also forgotten Rock Blast, Rock Polish, and Stealth Rock.

Yosho: Munchlax level 3 Male
Bio: Yosho felt left out of the Signal Beam craze that gamefreak went through, so he went and learnt the move himself.
Hidden Power: Dark
Special Training: Signal Beam
Yosho can now use Signal Beam

Admiral Funk: Stunky level 1 Male
Hidden Power: Ice

Reika: Joltik level 1 Female
Bio: After being driven from countless homes and almost crushed to death underneath a wealth of weighty object. Reika has given herself over to the dark side of thinking and has learned the ways of Nasty Plot.
Hidden Power: Water
Special Training: Nasty Plot
Reika has learned the move Nasty Plot.

Ember: Ponyta level 1 Female
Hidden Power: Water
(Sig being scratched cause this makes it useless)

Flandre: Zubat level 1 Female
Bio: I ran out of repels and ended up being assaulted by a swarm of these blood suckers. By sheer accident I grabbed one of my empty Pokeballs and threw it, I was aiming to release one of my Metangs to deal with them. Instead my stray ball caught one and with a full party it got sent to my PC storage. In the end it turned out not to be such a bad catch as the female zubat who I called Nana turned out to be the princess of cave trolls thanks to one very annoying move.
Hidden Power: Ice
Special Attack: Toxic Spikes
Nana can use Toxic Spikes, but because she's poisoning the ground with an unfamiliar poison type move. She no longer feels comfortable touching the ground and has forgotten the move Roost.

Kaoru: Solosis level 1 Female

Eon Level 1 Male Turtwig
Eon is indirectly related to the great Turtle of Creation. This relation ties him closer to the stone we were all born from.
Hidden Power: Rock
Special Training: Stones of Creation
Eon now has access to Ancient Power and Power Gem, with the energy to use either move twice.

Ampha Level 2 Female Marshtomp
Hidden Power: Ground

Venus Level 2 Female Ivysaur
Hidden Power: Fighting

Lutra Level 2 Male Dewott
Lutra is relentless when it comes to training, and it definitely shows for it. All of his hours increasing his skill has unlocked a new ability inside of him, putting him ahead of other Oshawotts and water types everywhere. With this new ability Lutra has soared to new heights.
Hidden Power Type: Fighting
Special Training: Empathic Bond
Oshawott's constant training with his scalchops has developed a deep empathic bond with them. This gives him a pseudo-Psychic control over them, making them easily able to fly back to his hands if dropped or thrown, without costing a move. It also allows him to throw them for moves like Razor Shell, Cut, Night Slash, X-Scissor for an extra minor amount of general energy cost for no decrease in power, giving them a much greater range. As it is an empathic bond, he can also throw the scalchops for use of Facade, Return, and Frustration, imbuing them with the force of his emotions. His Cut attack is now considered to be Fighting-typed, from all his meditative training, and he has the type energy for two uses of it. However, this training with his scalchops has led to gaps in his training otherwise, losing access to Ice Beam, Scald, Protect, and Iron Tail.

Fumo's evolutionary line is already tied to volcanos, but this Cyndaquil looked more to the magma than the flames.
Hidden Power: Rock
Special Attack: Volcano Plume (Ground)
In a move similar to Lava Plume, Fumo shoots a wave of molten earth at the foe. This move takes solid Ground energy and does solid Ground damage, and has a 20% chance to leave severe burns. He has the type energy to use this move twice per battle.

Silvia Level 2 Female Grovyle
Hidden Power: Flying

Finn Level 2 Male Servine
Hidden Power: Fire
Special Training: Type Change
Finn is now Grass/Fire, and has the defensive resistances of such. He has access to the moves Flamethrower, Flame Wheel, and Will-o-Wisp. He loses access to all Poison moves, Iron Tail, Leaf Tornado, Growth, Pursuit, Seed Bomb, and Hidden Power. He no longer heals in the rain, and takes 2x damage from Ice type moves, since he is not accustomed to the cold.

Flamma Level 2 Female Combusken
Flamma watches my Floatzel, Sonar, train a lot. She has developed techniques akin to one of his moves
Hidden Power: Flying
Signature Move: Pyro Dash
Basically a fire typed aqua jet that takes 1.25x the normal energy.

Sus Level 1 Male Tepig
Hidden Power: Water

Crusta Level 2 Female Wartortle
Hidden Power: Ground

Dave: Hidden Powers approved except for Servine, as his sig drops Hidden Power

Hidden Power Overload!

Spoiler: show
Ares: Male Charizard (Level 4)
A loner, never wants to make friends, or play with others. He's difficult to handle, and will attack any stranger that tries to get near him. He was a ruthless fighter, and in battle it used to be hard to get him to stop fighting, even after the battle was over. This earned him his nickname. However, now he has calmed down during battle, and he has channelled his rage into a strength.
Hidden Power: Grass
No Signature Move

Blaine: Male Alakazam (Level 4)
A loner, like Ares, his long hours of sleep make him seem a dull character, and he is. Even when he's awake, Blaine sits by himself. He won't attack strangers, but he never joins anyone to do anything. He only seems to interact with people that show a relatively high level of intelligence. In battle he constantly thinks through the moves he makes, and might not follow a command if it doesn't seem logical or reasonable in any way. Not that this ever happens, due to his trainer being similarly logical
After learning he was named after David Blaine, the famed (former) illusionist, Blaine decided he should probably see if he could imitate the man himself. He studied hard to learn how the brain worked, and how to manipulate it.

Hidden Power: Rock
Special Training: Psychological Genius
Blaine can use Hypnosis, but only twice per battle and once per target. Normal sleep rules still apply.

Zudo: Male Nidoking (Level 5)
An aggressive and devious Pokemon, Zudo uses his poisonous attacks to try and sustain power over anyone he deems worthy to serve him. He is one of the harder members of the team to control, and held a similar attitude in battle, brutally attacking whenever he can. He finally realised, however, that he needed strategy to win some battles, so now listens more. He is a good friend to Ares. While he agrees to listen, he still worked on discovering a way to use his devious and manipulative nature, and managed to pick up a few new moves from comrades and opponents. After he evolved to Nidoking, he needed no time to learn or perfect Taunt, already knowing it, so we worked on re-teaching him a couple of old moves to give him some more diversity.
Hidden Power: Ground
Special Training: Corruption (Dark)
Due to his dark nature, Zudo can now use Nasty Plot and Snatch. However, due to his lack of respect for most others and belief that he is stronger by himself, he cannot use Helping Hand, Captivate, Attract, Flatter, Mimic or Amnesia.

Shio: Male Blastoise (Level 4)
Shio's motto is "brain over brawn", although it doesn't mean to say his attacks don't pack a punch. He doesn't approve of rushed tactics, and will always try to stop his friends from acting rashly or fighting amongst each other. His calmer approach to life affects his battling quite a bit.
Hidden Power: Ground
Special Training: Knowledge is power (Typeless)
Shio can now use Calm Mind and Meditate, but is unable to use Rage, Mirror Coat or Counter.

Caprice: Female Ampharos (Level 4)
Caprice is a dreamer. She spends her time in fields, watching the clouds pass by, wishing her life was as simple as that of a cloud. She doesn't have as much dedication to training as the other members of my squad, but she still trains when she feels like it. She takes her battles seriously, but only so that she can enjoy a good rest without interruptions afterwards. Her electrical prowess is the reason I added her to my squad. Being an Ampharos, she uses the light on her tail quite a lot to see when there is no natural light, and she has learned to harness the energy released when lighting her tail.
Hidden Power: Ice
Special Training: Glowing with potential (Typeless)
Caprice can now use Tail Glow, but can only use it once per match.

Mia: Female Espeon (Level 4)
A funloving Espeon that just likes to run around, playing. Albeit overly trusting, she is fierce in battle, and a good companion. She treats battles like a kind of game, never taking it very seriously, no matter how much she gets hurt.
Hidden Power: Rock
Special Training: Levelling the Playing Field (Fighting)
Due to her training, Mia is now able to use Focus Blast twice per battle. However, her Focus Blasts are weaker in power, dealing damage equal to a Thunderbolt and costing a Thunderbolt's worth of energy. She has also gained 2 Thunderbolt's worth of Fighting energy to use her new move. In addition, her natural love for a fair battle has caused her to forget the deceptive Swagger, Double Team, Fake Tears, Charm, Captivate, Attract and Substitute, as well as losing Mimic and Psych Up due to her wishing to win with her own strength alone.

Helia: Female Typhlosion (Level 4)
I met her in an alley when she was just a Cyndaquil, fending for herself. She finds it hard to open up to others, but is a loyal companion when she trusts someone. She can hold her own well in a battle, but never seems to be able to trust her opponents after the battle is over.
Hidden Power: Grass
No Signature Move

Tetsu: Male Torterra (Level 4)
Tetsu is a real team player. Always looking out for his friends in and out of battle. With intelligence to go with his kindness, Tetsu is the stability of the group, helping all ‘mon to co-operate.
After a while of training, I realised he was lacking something. Despite his Ground type moves allowing him to fight Fire types well, he still wasn’t that capable in battle. I eventually remembered the meaning behind the name I gave him. “Iron”. Inspiration was flowing, and I got to work teaching him Steel moves, some knowledge of the type already fresh in my mind from using my Scizor before it left the team.

Hidden Power: Ground
Special Training: Iron Will (Typeless)
Due to his training, Tetsu is considered familiar with Steel type moves, increasing his Steel energy pool to the level of a Water type’s Ice energy pool. He has also learned Heavy Slam and Flash Cannon. However, he can no longer use Double Edge, Sand Tomb, Leech Seed, Swagger, Substitute, Curse or Amnesia.

Prima: Female Aipom (Level 4)
Prima is the flirt of the group. She often spends her time walking around and trying to impress everything male she sees, even if it doesn't understand what she's saying. In battle she drops this attitude, however, and obeys her trainers commands.
After a lot of thought, I finally remembered what originally attracted me to Aipom. The gimmicky tail-arm. With that in mind, I decided that this third arm would be the basis for Prima’s sig, and worked on developing her punches.

Hidden Power: Flying
Special Training: GIVE IT SOME TAIL-ARM! (Typeless)
Because she has spent so much time strengthening her tail, all attacks that strike the opponent with said tail (including punches, slaps, etc…) are 20% stronger. However, due to her focus on this tail, her remaining physical attacks (scratches and physical attacks that don’t use hands) are reduced in strength by 20%. In addition, all of her physical attacks, no matter what part of her body they use, use 10% more energy than normal.

Pierre: Male Mr. Mime (Level 4)
Pierre is French. Or, that’s what he would have others believe. In reality, Pierre is a born and bred Brit. However, he was inspired by Marcel Marceau (the professional mime, not LC’s Mr. Mime, although said Mime is cool too) at a young age, and has decided to try and become as like his hero has possible. Therefore, he has taken the name of Pierre, and has stopped speaking completely, communicating only through mime. He is even silent in his sleep.
Hidden Power: Rock
No Signature Move

Tess: Female Black Delibird (Level 4)
When you think of Delibird, you probably imagine them to be kind, giving and selfless, correct? Well, those 3 words are probably the worst words to describe Tess with. She’s selfish, cold and bitter, to say the least. As if to highlight this, all the parts of her body that should be red are jet-black. She has joined the Ares and Zudo section of my squad, and the two seem to get on well with her, despite her being probably being the least friendly of them.
She doesn't like giving out presents. Why? Giving something of value away for nothing? But, alas, she is a Delibird. Gifted with gifts. So instead of actually giving away things of any real value, she's decided to give actually hurtful Presents instead.

Hidden Power: Flying
Special Training: She Knows If You've Been Bad or Good (Typeless)
Tess's Present attack is now super-effective against Dark, Ghost and Poison-types, but is resisted by Normal, Fighting and Psychic-types.

Belle: Female Miltank (Level 4)
Belle has a very caring nature, and is practically the opposite of Tess. She tries to do whatever she can to help the other members of the team when they need something. As such, she quickly took the role of the squad’s nurse, and tries to help newer members settle into the group.
Hidden Power: Fire
No Signature Move

Anura: Male Politoed (Level 4)
Anura is a Politoed. This makes him awesome. In fact, he’s probably the most awesome Pokémon on my squad, and he knows it. He is extremely proud, and tries to get stronger every day. He sees my Charizard, Ares, as his main rival. He won’t give up in battle, and seems to thrive under pressure.
His never-give-up spirit and ability to improve his performance under pressure has given birth to a new trait, which he feels suits him very well.

Hidden Power: Grass
No Signature Move

Clyde: Male Mothim (Level 4)
Clyde is one of the Pokémon I remember most, mainly due to him being a Mothim and therefore a cool ‘mon in terms of design. Finally being added once I purchased slots after reaching TL2, he was originally a member of an obvious double-act. The second half being a Butterfree named Bonnie. The latter has, as of writing, not made it into my ASB squad, but this team of 2 was first created outside of the ASB. Clyde does wish he could be with said Butterfree, but as of yet he isn’t. Despite this, Clyde flirts a lot and cracks jokes wherever possible and is not unlike the common British 18-20 year old. But he doesn’t drink because he’s small and therefore a lightweight.
Despite being pretty cool, Clyde is a rather disappointing Pokémon, as he hasn’t been able to battle much thanks to his poor movepool and typing. In fact, by the time I’d realised this, he had only been used in 1 completed match, in which he hadn’t managed to excel. After moping about this for a while, he decided he needed to find a way to become useful. Fortunately, all it took was some training for some extra moves, so it didn’t take long for me to help him out here.

Hidden Power: Rock
Signature Training: MUST USE IT!
Due to needing a usable movepool, Clyde has learned Mud Shot.

Zeke: Male Tauros (Level 4)
Zeke is a relatively new member, but this doesn't stop him acting like one of the original members. He's rather friendly, and constantly tries to place himself among other members of the group. He's also easily irritated, as one might expect from a Tauros. But he's fitted in well, partly due to a suspected crush on Belle, the Miltank on my squad.
I caught Zeke a little while after all the Gen V nonsense settled in, and one of the newly discovered Pokemon, Bouffalant, has rather bothered him. While Bouffalant does have an afro, which is perhaps its only selling point against Tauros aesthetically, it seems to have been given a lot of love by its creators. In particular, it can somehow use Swords Dance, yet Zeke can't naturally use it. This really irritated him, and he worked hard to remedy the problem.

Hidden Power: Fighting
Special Training: SCREW YOU BOUFFALANT!
Due to his training, Zeke can now use Swords Dance.

Mohs: Genderless Metang (Level 4)
Mohs has been recently renamed, and with it a new personality. Not that the old one really had a personality. Mohs is rather a video-game fanatic, despite not being able to really hold the controllers or consoles. He has played some, however, by using Telekinesis and Psychic to “hold” anything he needs; it’s a little taxing on him, but nothing he’s not used to with battles and what have you. Amazingly, thanks to the lightness of said controllers and consoles, he is able to get quite a bit of game time in before really tiring. However, it was a game he had never played that gave birth to an interesting trait of his.
One time he stumbled across a recording of E3 2006, which previewed ’Genji: Days of the Blade’. Seeing him watching this, I suddenly realised something. Apparently, a lot of people rather mistakenly associate Metagross with crabs. Because they’re a little similar… 4 legs, no claws. But they do have an exoskeleton (kind of) and multiple legs. With this flawed association in mind, I began training him alongside Dale, my Kingler, to perfect a new move that should help him cover his two weaknesses just a little better.

Hidden Power: Ground
Special Training: Giant Enemy Crab (Water)
Mohs has learned Crabhammer, and his Water energy pool has increased to allow him 2 uses of Crabhammer per match.

Smashie: Female Steelix (Level 4)
Smashy smash smashy smash smash smash. Smash smashy smash smash smashy smash smash smashy. Smash smash SMASHY SMASHSMASH.
Hidden Power: Ground
Special Training: Smashy Smash!
When Smashie is sent out into battle for the first time, she performs an automatic Curse. This doesn't use a move, but it does use the energy usually required. This boost will fade as normal.

Monsieur Sol: Genderless Solrock (Level 4)
The only true French ‘mon I own, Sol is a little annoying. He’s tried time and again to speak French; he feels that without this trait he cannot be “truly” French. But he’s a Pokémon. He is limited in speech somewhat. So this has proven too hard for him. Yet he still tries. However, his most annoying trait is his cowardice. When he finds himself at a disadvantage in a battle, he gets quite desperate and would go so far as to try to flatter his opponent to avoid KOs or death. Fortunately, I have managed to train him to avoid simply running away from the fight.
In fact, it’s this desperation to avoid defeat that gave birth to a new move. He found that Sandstorm was a good deterrent. But it isn’t great. So he worked on a new move; similar to Sandstorm, but reworked in certain ways to become stronger and more useful. To push opponents away, and stop them hitting him hard.

Hidden Power: Grass
Special Attack: Sable Dance (Various)
Sol spins around, emitting energy and moulding it into sand-like particles that begin to fly wildly, forming a kind of energy sandstorm. This makeshift sandstorm is then sent toward the opponent. The attack generates quite a bit of wind, giving it a semi-physical nature like that of Twister, but is mostly special as the “sand” that forms the bulk of the storm is pure energy. He can use either Rock or Ground energy for this attack, but the type must be stated when Sable Dance is ordered. The attack does heavy damage for the same amount of energy under standard conditions, but it may deal more damage if the winds generated pick up any sand or water, at ref’s discretion. Sol can only use Sable Dance three times per match, and can’t use the same energy type for this attack more than twice per match. He has gained enough Ground energy for two Sable Dances. Sol cannot use Sandstorm.

Tyson: Male Hitmontop (Level 4)
Recently renamed due to trying to sig him, Tyson is rather a fan of his own ability to spin. He takes quite some enjoyment from spinning around in the park, to try and improve his spatial awareness while spinning. He recently noticed an episode of “Beyblade” (the old stuff; back when people I knew actually watched it), and was fascinated by the unrealistic, physics-breaking stuff he was seeing. He began spinning harder and faster, trying desperately to emulate this. Realising he needed some better movepool options, I decided to get him to add some energy to this, and a new move was born.
Hidden Power: Dark
Special Attack: Beyblade (Fighting)
Tyson spins while coating himself in Fighting energy, similar to Gyro Ball, before slamming into the opponent, dealing significant damage for the same amount of energy. Tyson can also use a ranged version, with the spinning motion generating a vortex of Fighting energy and air, similar to Twister, dealing significant damage for high energy.

Spoiler: show
Victoria: Female Level 1 Gastly
Hidden Power: Fighting

Alice: Female Level 1 Golett
Hidden Power: Fire

Sheldon: Male Level 1 Shuppet
Hidden Power: Ice

Alexander: Male Level 1 Drifloon
Hidden Power: Ground

Danton: Male Level 1 Duskull
Danton thinks he's hot shit. And by hot shit I mean scary as fuck. And let's be real, he kind of is! He's got a skull mask thing for a face and that creepy single red eye hovering behind it. But he treats himself like the King of All Fear and Spookiness in the world and speaks and acts like a B-list horror movie villain. He's actually a huge weenie. Go figure. One thing he DOES have going for him though is how he can pop up out of seemingly nowhere.
Hidden Power: Grass
Signature Techinique: Are You Scared??? (Ghost)
Danton can remove his mask at will. Removing and placing/throwing the mask counts as one move. When his mask is removed, he can teleport to it at will at a significant energy cost. Much like the actual move Teleport, after a few seconds of concentration, Danton will disappear, and then 1-2 seconds later he will reappear whereever his mask was previously, now with the mask on. The order "Spook" means to teleport to the mask. Mask teleporting messes with Danton's ghost energies, and he is unable to use any ghost moves for a full round after doing it. Danton cannot evolve. Danton's mask has the strength of a Marowak's skull, and if it is destroyed the same stipulations for getting a new one apply.

Querra: Female Level 1 Yamask
Querra hates being taken advantage of, or mocked, or generally underestimated in any way. Whenever she starts to get some success, people are always there to shut her down somehow. She's pretty cold and mean towards basically everyone, and she'll do everything possible to keep someone from getting a leg up on her. She's developed a way to just shut everyone around her out and leave her alone, which she uses to full effect on some of her particularly bad, self-hatred days.
Hidden Power: Fighting
Special Training: Peace and Quiet (XX)
If Querra is ordered to block an attack using her mask, a faint typeless force field will project around her as she does so, reducing damage/effectiveness from sound-based attacks by a decent amount. The force field does not shield her from any other type of attack, only sound-based ones. Anything else must strike the actual mask in order to be blocked.

Frederick: Male Level 1 Oddish
Hidden Power: Water

Samson: Male Level 1 Paras
Hidden Power: Fire

Claudia: Female Level 1 Psyduck
Hidden Power: Ground

Tjeka: Female Level 1 Beedrill
Tjeka is really intense. She doesn't show weakness except on Wednesdays, when she loosens up and will only play video games and watch anime all day. Otherwise, though, she's a cold and hardened killer.
Hidden Power: Fighting
Signature Ability: A Cold and Hardened Killer (XX)
Tjeka enters battle with a Swords Dance boost in effect. She loses the actual use of Swords Dance, as well as Double-Edge and Skull Bash.

Hasi: Female Level 1 Hoppip
Hidden Power: Flying

Gut: Female Level 1 Diglett
Gut is so peppy. She's very enthusiastic about learning and battling and she loves to accompany me on reffings. She's just a neato kiddo. She's adapted to many different types of locations so she can always participate if needed.
Hidden Power: Grass
Special Training: Ultimate Enthusiasm (Ground)
Gut can traverse through metal, concrete, and solid rock as easily as she can through dirt.

Lace: Female Level 1 Doduo
Lace is a princess, and thus is a trained and skilled multitasker. To guide the kingdom in times of stress, of course.
Hidden Power: Flying
Signature Ability: Royal Management Skills (XX)
Princess Lace takes 80% of the damage from all attacks, until she reaches half health. After that point, one of her heads is knocked out, and she will take 125% damage from all attacks until she is knocked out. If Lace is knocked below the halfway point, but in some way recovers so that her health is back above the halfway point, she will still take 125% damage from all attacks and one of her heads will remain knocked out.

Fedanura: Level 1 Female Whismur
Hidden Power: Grass

Kale: Female Level 1 Dunsparce
Kale is very serious about battling! She always gives 100% and she never messes around in battles. Outside of battles she's really funny and an enjoyable person to be around! She throws GREAT parties. But yeah, in battle? Total serious mode. She's pushed herself to make the greatest advantage of all of her assets as a Dunsparce.
Hidden Power: Fighting
Special Training: Flight (Flying)
Kale can fly as well as a Pidgey.
