White Market - Traders' Paradise

Welcome one and all to the White Market!

From now on this is a one-stop shop for all your trading needs, offerings and announcements. To help keep the Time-Out from being flooded with trade-offers and such, please post them all here. It'll also make it easier to keep track of things since we'll no longer have to post every day/week/month about the same offer or dig through pages of TO to find old offers.

I'd also like to ask you to add a note to your post once you have found a buddy to trade with, like in the challenger threads for Trainer Battles, to avoid confusion. Just to make this easier on me, as I do not read minds, when you put a Pokémon up on the list, provide at least the following three pieces of information:

SPECIES
GENDER
LEVEL

If a hatched Pokémon has an Egg-move, I'll put that up too if mentioned. Some people don't, for one reason or another, use signatures, so it's all that much harder for me to put up information! Thank you for reading this and here's hoping people will actually follow this guideline in the future.

So let's get trading!

This post is now under construction due to changes in shops and in-progress inquiry of current situations.

Currently on offer:

Spoiler: show
Carnivine Lv. 1 (PikaGod)
Duskull Lv. 1 (Acio29619)
Numel Lv. 1 (Arc_Angel)
Trapinch Lv. 1 (Kairne)

Meetan 10-01-2012 04:30 PM

Wow. Even after a week of advertising, including a few posts previous on the TO, you still forget the female Purrloin I need to trade away by Saturday lol.

Whoops. ^-^''' Added!

Allishinca 10-01-2012 05:29 PM

In order to make searching for a desired Pokemon easier,
I recommend sorting it alphabetically by Pokemon's name
as demonstrated here:

Deerling Lv. 12 offered by Allishinca
Duskull Lv. 1 offered by biggggg5
Purrloin Lv. 1 offered by Meetan
Stunfisk Lv. 1 offered by biggggg5

-Or-
Since we probably will never have a very large list of Pokemon up for Trade,
how about we keep the format you've used, but alphabetize it by username:

Allishinca
Deerling Lv. 12

biggggg5
Duskull Lv. 1
Stunfisk Lv. 1

Meetan
Purrloin Lv. 1

Either way, I end up on top! Hehe.
Nah, don't mind me. I tend to get really obsessed with forum post aesthetics.
(It's part of the curse of being an art major!)

Anyway, this is a great idea, Kaisap!
May I post whimage here?

I'll put the list in alphabetical order by username and add the gender symbols.

Also, whimages at your own risk. You never know when that whimage backfires at you~!

I would suggest putting them in Pokémon alphabetical order or Pokédex order (your choice). Which do I care more about: whether a particular creature is available or who the person is who's making the offer? I know I care more about the former. I would think most people do as well.

Example 1.
Abra (Talon87)
Duskull (Gemini Spark)
Duskull (MarbleZone)
Pichu (Meetan)
Shroomish (Arc Angel)
Wynaut (Ariden)

Example 2.
Arc Angel: Shroomish
Ariden: Wynaut
Gemini Spark: Duskull
MarbleZone: Duskull
Meetan: Pichu
Talon87: Abra

I mean, you can do it either way but the second way makes people dig through every last word just to make sure they don't miss the Pokémon they're looking for whereas the first way makes it easier for them to identify whether any of their desires are currently up for trade or not.

Your thread, your call.

EDIT: Oh yeah. You can add this guy to the list.

Species: http://www.upnetwork.net/fb/sprites/pn218.gif Slugma (M) Level 1
Name: (none yet given)
Met: Egg House, hatched on August 21, 2012
Type: Fire
Ability: (undeclared)
Attacks: Yawn, Smog
Nature: (undeclared)
Held Item: none
Contest Stats: Smart: -- Cool: -- Beauty: -- Tough: -- Cute: --
IQ: --
Bio: none yet given
Trophies: none currently

They might not be Pokemon, but the items listed below are available for trade. Hit me up if you're interested.

Minun Plushie
Magnezone Plushie
Santalax Plushie
Snorunt Plushie
Skull of Forgotten Souls
Moon Tiara Accessory
3 Yellow Gummis
3 Pink Gummis
4 Red Gummis
1 White Gummi
1 Silver Gummi
4 Purple Gummi
3 Black Gummis
3 Sky Gummis
1 Orange Gummi
1 Chocolate Ball
Pumpkin Ball
Wereball
Friend Ball
Lure Ball
2011 New Year's Ball

Edit: Also, I'm looking to trade for custom FB Steel Pokeballs and am willing to make it worth your while.

Acio29619 10-01-2012 11:13 PM

This is a cool idea. I have this I would like to have added to the list.

Torkoal
Nickname:
Birthday: July 4
Level: 1, 2 3 4 5 7 9 11 12 (13) [in daycare now]
Gender: Male
Ability: White Smoke
Nature: Gentle
Pokeball:
Held Item: N/A
Level Up Moves: Ember, Withdraw (Lvl 7),
Egg Moves: Skull Bash, Clear Smog, Eruption
Misc Moves: Strength
Move Tutor Moves: Earth Power
TM Moves: Softboiled
IQ: 1
Contest Stats: 10/10/10/10/10
BP: 0

I'm in no rush to get rid of this, but as soon as I get my first capture I'd like to start getting eggs, and I'd need space for that if I can't find a home for what I might hatch.

Missingno. Master 10-02-2012 04:22 PM

I'm looking to trade the following items, preferably for candies:
1 Cupid's Bow & Arrow
1 Mummy Ball
1 2009 New Year's Ball
1 Apicot Berry
1 Rabuta Berry

As I said, I'd prefer candies only in exchange for these.

Putting a Level 1 Male Horsea up for trade!

I need one for a shard quest. Will offer one candy for now.

Missingno. Master 10-03-2012 04:28 PM

OK, I've come to a difficult decision, but here it is: My Victreebel is up for trade. Goyle is a level 34 Victreebel, with five of his Egg moves (Weather Ball, Swords Dance, Leech Life, Synthesis, and Magical Leaf). Due to the Egg moves, the decent level, and the fact that he required a Leaf Stone to reach the Victreebel stage, I'm asking for something along the lines of 4 candies.

Holy hell people! Someone's gotta take this offer, doesn't being dropped in the AC mean de-evolution as well? 8O

Gemini Spark 10-03-2012 05:18 PM

Yes, it does, plus he loses a ton of moves and is leveled back down to one. I'd go for it, but I'm not that interested in a Victreebel right now, plus I have zero space.

=Pokémon Retirement Home=
1. Drop-offs must be Level 25 or greater.

2. It costs 1 rare candy per level to adopt a retired Pokémon. (Max: 100, not 4)

3. You may not adopt a retired Pokémon you yourself dropped off in the past 365 days. There is a 14-day grace period at the beginning in case you change your mind. During this grace period you are the only person who may adopt the retired Pokémon.

4. Retired Pokémon do not lose their levels, moves, contest stats, etc.

5. You may adopt up to three (3) retired Pokémon after which point you will have to wait one year and may from then on only adopt one retired Pokémon a year.

6. Retired Pokémon are never released. If no one adopts them, that's fine: they're having fun at the retirement home.

Thoughts? =P

It's...actually not a bad idea. 8O Talon strikes again!

Not sure how the mods would feel about it though.

Dude, I posted that in the animé thread back when the episode aired. XP

Talon87 10-03-2012 07:49 PM

It doesn't get a wow then. It gets a wow now 'cause you're cracking the joke relative to what was meant to be an actual retirement home. >_>

Considering it's been confirmed that AC Pokémon aren't "released" into the wild, per se, but rather go to a big happy ranch in the sky... I don't think it's too far a stretch. >.>;

MarbleZone 10-03-2012 08:59 PM

And Victreebell found a home already! Good thing too, as much as I dislike that line it'd have been a waste of a Level 34.

For what it's worth, what made you fall out of love with it, MM? Can we blame Meowth? :P

Marion Ette 10-03-2012 09:01 PM

My guess is that it has to do with the fact that Crabbe and Goyle are very similar personality-wise, but MM should probably be the one to answer.

But how does one have Crabbe without Goyle? ^^;

Spoiler: show
Ask the guys who made the seventh movie. OHHHHHHHH SNAP!

You know, with MM giving in to his whims each time and trading away some of his team, I do wonder how it's going to affect the other Pokemon still with him... he could RP that actually and this could make for a good story line in the Bar. :D
